Happy New Year, everyone!

As always, I'm hoping to improve myself this year, and my writing too! I figured now would be as good of a time as any to post my latest story that I more or less did as a "trade" for Drakawa. He drew this super cute art for Verro and I: https://www.sofurry.com/view/1390932 So I wanted to thank him!

This story features his character, Kivalna, an adventurous Masquerlisk who found herself on a secluded, vibrant island in the middle of the ocean. Though it seemed uninhabited at first, little did she know there was a big, winged-dragon lurking around!

Thanks for reading! I'm always eager to read some feedback. c:

And go check out Drakawa's art! He's awesome~ http://www.furaffinity.net/user/drakawa/

Somewhere deep in the ocean, a warm current brought a hint of life trickling through the murkiness. It caressed Kivalna's steel-blue hide like a lover's touch, stirring her from slumber. Her eyes opened, and the faint glow of the sun brought light to the cloudy depths of the cold water. The world around her was bleak and barren, save for large rocks and sediment; although it was the perfect place to sleep, she desperately needed a change of scenery.

Using the mysteriously warm current as a guide, she shifted from her resting place and followed it, wondering where it would take her. It felt like destiny was beckoning her to a glorious adventure and whisking her away into a wonderland as bountiful as Elasea itself! She had a good feeling about this unusual anomaly; warm currents rarely came so far out in the ocean unless there was land nearby. For days she had been looking for something exciting to do, and the ocean itself was prepared to lead her on a quest!

However, it was beginning to look like a long quest.

Either more than a few hours passed or Kivalna grew too bored of counting time to keep track. Whatever the case, her adventure didn't seem to be leading her anywhere. Perhaps her idea of _destiny_was misguided; maybe it was just an unusually warm current. Impatience was on the verge of outweighing her motivation; however, she persisted and swam at the same pace until the murkiness faded.

As the ocean floor lifted toward the surface, light beamed down and revealed all sorts of new wildlife around her, and not the bland seaweed she was used to seeing. Colorful plants speckled the view in front of her, growing more in abundance the further she went. Fish darted away in fear that she would snap at them and eat them--they weren't wrong in thinking that! But her hunger for new discoveries distracted her from the dull ache in her stomach.

Now, as the sunlight peaked through the ocean's surface in luminescent beams, a bright orange, yellow, and red variety of plants bloomed in the rocky and sandy ocean shelf. The water was pristine: clear and unblemished by slimy moss or seaweed. The fish here seemed bigger and livelier than what she was used to, with striped, dotted, and rainbow-colored scales. Not only was everything healthy and in perfect condition, but it brought a warm sense of joy to the front of her mind--and she smiled.

It was beautiful, to say the least! She thought about swimming back to her friends to share in this discovery, but she was afraid she would lose her way and never find this place again. Maybe after she explored it all she would return!

And to her sheer delight, it appeared that all of this vibrant life led to a tropical island. The floor ascended up higher and higher, bringing her closer to the surface where the water was warm, a pleasant feeling against her hide after spending so long in the colder, deeper parts of the ocean.

When Kivalna poked her head out of the water, she squinted and saw an empty, sandy beach with copper-colored rocks stacked variously on the shore. Emerald-green fronds of trees hung low behind the beach, a tropical forest stretching around the island. At the islands center was a small-sized mountain, a navy-blue color, what she presumed to be a dormant volcano that had crafted this beautiful gem in the ocean centuries ago.

Her heart thrummed with excitement.

So much to do, so much to explore! I wonder if the animals here are just as vibrant as the fish...

The warmth of the water was replaced by the heat of the sun as she emerged onto the beach. Using her nostrils instead of her gills, she took in a deep breath and let out a sigh. The air was wet and thick with the scent of salt and the fresh smell of plants. Dull-orange colored sand squished between her toes with every step until it clung to her wet hide because it was so dry. She tried to shake a little off, not quite enjoying the feeling of it against her paws, but it irritably stuck to her.

But compared to the exciting feelings coursing through her now, it was just a seabug on a wall.

Kivalna took a moment just to look around her: from the deepest of blues lapping at the shore, to the sunset-colored rocks and sandstone, and to the vibrant-green trees; it was all magnificent. Nothing here could compare to anything she had seen before, and she had it all to herself! Not a single soul was in sight. The only sounds of wildlife she heard were the calls of the birds above her, like seagulls but slightly bigger and colored with reds and blues.

Her smile only widened.

What do I explore first? More of the beach or should I check out the forest?

She glanced between the two and danced on her paws.

I've spent the last week in the water--it's time to get my land legs back!

After spending so much time in the water, she admitted that it was a strange feeling to adjust to walking on land again, and to breathe through her nose and not her gills. It never took her long to get used to it, but for the first hour it was a noticeable change.

She loved it. She liked the feeling of solid ground beneath her paws, sturdy and strong. She loved hopping around on the rocks and how her weight shifted from nose to tail. One misstep and she could fall and injure herself--a slight risk to add to the excitement!

Kivalna wandered along the tree line next to the beach for a while, often peering into the forest to scope it out. Dense foliage obscured most of her view. Fronds of all different shapes and sizes swayed in a gentle breeze and scratched together. Some colorful flowers of red, orange, blue, and yellow speckled the undergrowth, and they had a pleasant aroma to them.

She was smart enough not to go charging into a new territory; she always played it safe and carefully explored, in case there was something big, giant, and scary lurking around--like something much larger than she was. But nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary. A lot of the plants and animals were relatively similar to what she had seen in the past on land. None of the animals were distressed by anything besides her, so she didn't see a reason to be too anxious.

Just as she was about ready to take her adventure deeper into the island, a dark shadow passed over her. Her immediate instinct was to take cover and hide, but as she glanced up she saw a blue and white dragon twirl around gracefully in the air and glide her way--he already spotted her. She had hoped that she was alone on the island.

Her heart hammered in her chest, adrenaline pumping. Winged-dragons could be dangerous; not only did they have scales that armored their bodies, but they could breathe fire, too! For the most part, their species weren't hostile to another, but if this dragon wanted to, he could easily attack her if she didn't run away now.

And the closer he came, the more danger she felt; this was a type of dragon she had never seen before!

As he landed he kicked up a flurry of rust-colored sand and folded his wings. His body was thicker than any winged-dragon she ever saw, with broad shoulders, powerful, rippling muscles, and wide haunches. Metallic-blue scales scintillated across his body like gems, and his shimmering white underside was outlined by speckles of a blue so dark that it looked black. They stretched up the sides of his neck and overlapped his muzzle that Kivalna saw as he towered over her. Two pairs of black horns arced from his skull behind his head, where a row of obsidian spikes trailed down his neck and back to the tip of his tail. Most land-drakes and dragons never looked this large and intimidating; he was probably eleven-feet tall!

I should run now before he can use his fire on me, she thought anxiously and stared at him. She didn't want to look like a coward, but her survival was more important than her ego.

"H-Hey there!" he called out to her, seeming to have noticed her fear. "Don't be scared! I just wanted to say hi and--oh wow! How cool!"

Kivalna turned and squinted at him, frowning. "What's so cool?" She kept her tail tense and ready to strike if he attacked. A sharp, spade-like tip was attached to the end of it, a perfect, natural weapon that could slice through those hard scales of his.

"I thought I was seeing things or something, but you're actually real!"

She cocked her head at him and furrowed her brow. "Of course I'm real!"

"W-Well yeah... Obviously, but I mean... You're a Masquerlisk!" he said and noticeably wiggled in place. "I've always wanted to meet someone like you."

As Kivalna observed his demeanor and posture, she realized that he was far less intimidating than what his body portrayed him as. She relaxed her guard but remained cautious. "You've never seen a Masqi before?"

I've never seen your kind before either...

He scratched his forearm and bared an awkward smile. "Well... I mean, yeah, I have, but like... not this close before? I've never talked to one. I've called out before, but I think whoever he or she was thought I was a mean dragon 'cause they ran away back into the water."

Look at you--you're huge! she wanted to say to justify her own thoughts of scurrying away.

"I see..." Kivalna sat politely on her haunches with her tail curled around her paws, showing that she was confident enough to relax in front of the bigger dragon.

"I was wondering if anyone else would ever show up here." He eyed her intently, his head tilted and cocked slightly to the side.

"Are you alone on this island?" she asked. She peered at him curiously, studiously, in an attempt to determine what sort of dragon he was. He seemed friendly, and the glow in his bright, golden eyes was genuine--although, he did seem a little... dorky.

The way he held himself portrayed the opposite of confidence. He slouched over like he was constantly being scolded, his tail twitched along with his restless wings, and his claws sliced ruts in the sand whenever he couldn't maintain eye contact with her. Aside from that, he looked strong and masculine with sharp features; he was actually a rather handsome dragon!

He nodded. "I think so! I've only been here for a few days after a big storm blew me here, but you're the only other dragon I've seen around. It's a pretty big island, actually... I'm surprised there aren't more of us. With all of these colors, warm weather, and delicious meals, I would call it Paradise Island!"

Kivalna looked around and nodded in agreement. Although this dragon had trampled over most of her initial excitement by presenting himself, she still couldn't wait to go look around. It did seem like a paradise!

"So like... where are you from? What's your name? Mine's Eliyaran, but you can call me Eli!" he plopped himself down on his rear and turned his head curiously at her, a big smile stretching his lips while his tail swished back and forth in the loose sand. She noticed that the outsides of his legs were speckled with dark-blue scales like the ones drawing down his underbelly. And she couldn't help but to notice a peculiar difference between their species: his gender was shown externally, much like the mammals with a sheath and two dangling orbs. The winged-drakes back home didn't have those either.

"Kivalna," she answered and lifted her gaze. "I live far from here: a few days of swimming." She actually couldn't remember where her last home was; she considered her real home to be in Elasea, and everywhere else she stayed was temporary.

"So you swam all the way here!" he asked with disbelief.

She shot him an incredulous stare. Do you see any wings?

"Oh... right. I just meant that there's not another island around for like a whole day's worth of flight. You had to have swum a really far ways from home."

Kivalna shrugged her shoulders and half-nodded. "I guess I did. It didn't really feel like it. I follow the currents, so it's hard to tell sometimes."

"Do you live in Elasea? Is it that close to here?"

Those questions struck a dissonant chord in Kivalna's train of thought. She scowled and stood up. "How did you know about Elasea?" she asked firmly.

His eyes widened and he shrunk down submissively. "Oh, I uhm... I heard it from someone I knew... That's how I know about your species and other things, just from him. S-Sorry..."

She backed off a bit, but her tail twitched behind her. "That's private information," she stated.

"O-Oh, okay... Sorry," he apologized again and hung his head.

Awkward silence crept between them, and that was enough for her to take her leave. "I'm going to go exploring now," she said and turned her tail to him.

He perked up a little and acted like he wanted to go with her, but he quickly realized that she wanted to be left alone, so he bit his tongue. "Okay! I'll uhh... see you around?"

She flashed him a smile and nodded. "We can talk more later, if you want. I just really want to explore!"

A bright smile returned to his lips, his hopes lifted. He was obviously excited to talk with her, and Kivalna liked the idea of that. Most dragons weren't that interested in Masquerlisks--it made her feel special. And she was also interested in learning more about him and his species, what their culture was like and so on.

She padded away and delved into the forest, leaving Eli behind on the beach. When she looked back between the plants and trees, she saw him lazily flop down on his back and spread his bright wings to soak up the sun. Perhaps she would make another friend!

The warmth of the sun receded as the shade of the tall trees fell over her. She welcomed the cooler, wet air against her scale-less hide. Although she did enjoy bathing in the sun every now and again, she didn't like how it made her body feel dry and sticky; she liked being smooth, like most Masquerlisks.

As Kivalna traveled deeper into the forest, she realized how alive it was. Sounds of insects rattled above and below her, joined by a variety of coos and caws from the vibrant birds darting around overhead. The occasional deep howl would occur to give her a little bit of concern; even if she was a large dragon, she had no idea what the predators here were like. Her only means to defend herself were her claws, teeth, and tail. As adventurous as she was, she very much enjoyed staying alive and not getting eaten by something bigger than her!

But thankfully, most of the animals stayed clear of her path, recognizing her as the alpha predator. Not much later, a good-sized deer-like creature, with straight horns and a leathery hide, discovered what it was like to be hunted by a dragon, and it did not end well for it!

Kivalna loved hunting on land more than in the sea. The prey was usually versatile and quick, forcing her to chase it down. Using her speed and sharp claws, she caught the deer and then sank her teeth into its neck with expert precision. It kicked and squirmed under her heavier weight, but it quickly succumbed to defeat. Pride welled in Kivalna's chest.

_I've still got it,_she thought and eagerly dug into her meal. Although the animal looked completely different than anything she had seen before, it tasted rather similar to the deer she hunted in the past; tough, warm, and sinewy.

After a satisfying meal, she licked her chops clean and followed upstream of a small river.

She wandered into a large clearing with a small waterfall cascading down the rocks. These rocks were blue like the mountain peeking through the leaves high above her, and the water was crystal-clear. Surrounding the basin it fell into were white and gold flowers blooming all around the water's edge.

Her first instinct was to dive right in and feel the cool water against her body. She dove down and swam to the bottom before kicking off the sandy floor to propel herself straight to the top. Having a slick hide made the water slide across her body so that she was hydrodynamic. Swimming was just as effortless as walking to her.

After playing in the water for a while, Kivalna realized that the sun was beginning to set. Darkness cloaked the forest like ominous curtains. New sounds of nocturnal animal screeched and cried out through the night. And sometimes, she swore she saw glints of eyes staring at her from the darkness.

Not that she was scared, but it definitely felt like the beginning of a horror story!

I should prooobably go hide now.

Being a Masquerlisk, her best shelter was underwater. Here, most of the unknown, scary things hiding in the dark couldn't reach her, and she couldn't hear them either. The rumbling waterfall pouring into the water above her steadily lulled her to sleep as fatigue from the long day kicked in.

After wandering around the lively forest the next day, Kivalna found herself on a different part of the beach. As if Eli was searching for her, he ended up finding her exploring in the water not long after. She didn't mind, though. Even if she enjoyed the peace of solitude, she didn't mind the company, and Eli seemed like a nice enough dragon to talk to--even with all of his questions!

"Yeah, well, I mean like... Does it feel different? Do you ever mix the two up and breathe the wrong way?" Eli watched her swim in the water, standing tall as he waded in it up to his shoulders. His wings rose just above the surface.

Kivalna giggled and shook her head as she looked up at him, tiptoeing in the mushy sand with most of her body submerged. "It does feel different, but I don't remember ever having an issue like that. It's all instinct, and you don't really think about it. I guess to you it would be weird because it's almost like drinking water... but you're not, you know? You can't really breathe through your gills without taking in the water." To demonstrate, she stuck her head underwater and used her gills to breathe.

He grinned and shrugged his wings. "I guess that kind of makes sense. I think it's pretty cool you can breathe underwater... I bet there are all sorts of neat things down there. Scary things too, from what I've seen wash up to the shore."

"There are plenty of cool things, but when you see the same stuff over and over just in different places, it starts to get boring. That's why I like exploring the land so much! There's a huge change in the environment from one place to the next. Different plants and animals, different rocks and dirt, and different weather! I love the rain..."

Eli looked at her. "Have you ever seen snow?"

She shook her head. "I've heard about it... I've always wanted to see the arctic regions, but it's so cold that I'm worried I'll freeze."

A warm smile curled his lips. In his golden eyes, she saw fond memories playing through his mind. "It's beautiful. I was hatched and raised in the cold, and when you get used to it it's not so bad. It's... peaceful. Time moves a lot slower."

"That does sound nice... So what brought you here, then? I imagine you've traveled halfway across the world," she asked curiously and stepped up onto the beach, letting the water drip off her body as the hot sun beamed down on them. The sand felt hot under her paws, and as she lay down on her side, it felt warm, soft, and comfortable, even as it clung to her hide.

Doing this exposed a little of her sky-blue underbelly to him--she was never too prudish around males. Unlike the dragons of the sky, she didn't have wings to cover or conceal herself with, so it was difficult to hide the graceful curves down the length of her body. Even when she tucked her legs close to her, she felt exposed--not that she minded, but she definitely had to choose who she could be comfortable around.

He watched her closely, his golden eyes studying her body. She kind of enjoyed that sort of attention from a male, even if it was one she just met. It made her feel special to have their eyes focused on her, but she was never too showy. He lay on his belly beside her, his wings stretching out to soak up the sun. She looked jealously at his wings, admiring the iridescent hue of sky-blue rippling down the soft sinews.

"A lot like you, I wanted to explore the world," he said. "I've never really... had a place to call home. I've been on my own since I was a whelp. The region I'm from was overpopulated, so there wasn't enough prey to feed on, and the more we ate, the less we would have the next year. My parents... more or less abandoned me." He picked at the sand and stared at it.

Kivalna felt a small pain in her chest. "I'm sorry to hear that, Eli... That must have felt awful."

He smiled distantly and squished the sand in his paw. "I don't remember what they said to me, and I don't know if that's a good or bad thing because maybe they hated me... From what I understand, or maybe what I wanted to believe, they were giving me a better chance at life. I was too big for them to feed me, so I would have starved them and my siblings, or I would have starved myself. On my own, I was able to hunt small prey and survive off that for a while, and I kept going further and further away from my home until I found enough food for me and a local dragon. He was uh... territorial, so I had to err... pay a 'toll' to hunt in his lands, but that wasn't as bad as I thought it was at first. It got easier, but I decided to move on and explore anyhow, maybe find a mate and my own territory."

He glanced over at her and snorted a chuckle. "Sorry, that was longwinded! I get carried away sometimes about my boring life."

Kivalna felt her heart ache for him. "That sure doesn't sound like a boring life," she commented and curled her tail around his. It sounds way different from mine... I've never had to feel starved or have difficulty finding food. And our kind doesn't care too much about territory--we all live happily together. Well, mostly happily...

That received her a warm, affectionate smile--a genuine one that wasn't just about being friendly. "Well, that's pretty much my entire life summed up into a paragraph. Nothing interesting has ever happened to me... Except until I met you."

Kivalna stifled a giggle and covered her muzzle with a paw, and then her cream-colored face before she broke down and laughed. "That's so corny!"

"H-Hey! I resent that," he chuckled, baring his teeth in a joyful grin. "It's totally true!"

"Hehehe, and you expect me to take you seriously after you said that?" She playfully shoved him. "Way to destroy the mood."

He rumbled deep in his throat and pushed her back. "Ever since I heard about your kind, I've always wanted to meet a Masquerlisk, and I'm really happy that I got to meet you, okay? Sorry if it's corny, but that's just how I feel!"

"Oh, whatever you say," she teased. "We're not that special, and we're not all that different from you." She poked his shoulder with a claw and felt it bounce off his hard scales.

"I think you're very different," he said and gently caressed her shoulder. "You're very soft... I like your spots and how they speckle your body." Those lavender spots dotted across her shoulders and down her back, as well as the knees of her hind legs, elbows of her forearms, and the bases of her largest pair of horns.

Although she knew he was just being playful, it felt strange to have him touch her like that. It felt like he wasn't just curiously feeling her softer hide, but more touching her to show his affection. After the way he looked at her earlier, she definitely knew he was at least somewhat interested in her, sexually speaking. And truth be told, she was rather... curious herself about his species too, but she didn't quite feel comfortable enough yet to be doing anything more than looking.

"Not only do you feel softer, but you have these neat frills too," he added and studied the purple frill traveling up her neck, connected to a single, large horn. "This is really smooth."

She smiled awkwardly and let him explore her for now. It was like he was petting her, and she sort of liked that. His touch danced along her webbed frill all the way up to her five horns. She was worried that he could see the blush forming at her cheeks, a tint of pink to a light-tan color. From the tip of her nose to the base of her horns, her face was covered in a seamless, cream color, like a mask because it only covered her face. Maroon circles surrounded her eye-sockets and accented her lavender eyes.

"What do your males look like?" he asked suddenly.

"They're uhm... a lot like us females. We tend to have more frills and they have more horns," she answered. "Bulkier, muscular, and the other typical male things. They can be pretty big, but you're a lot bigger than most of my friends."

He purred a little bit and smiled at her as he touched and felt her soft hide. She tilted her head to the side and closed her eyes, relaxing a little bit to calm her nerves. He was just a friendly dragon, after all!

That large paw slid around her neck, his digits dancing down the underside of it as he explored her smoothness. She squirmed a little bit, tail twitching back and forth, while she held her breath. She worried he would touch her gills: a very sensitive part of her body, but he ever so gently grazed around them, and that sent shudders down her spine to her tail-tip.

Kivalna unclenched her toes and let out a soft sigh as he moved away from them, worrying that he may have noticed her momentary lapse in character. He felt her shoulders again, kneading into them.

"I wouldn't mind meeting a male, too," he said and chuckled. "I never thought to ask if you were traveling with anyone? I didn't see anyone else on the beach with you yesterday."

"No, not this time." She glanced curiously at him and bluntly asked, "And are you trying to ask if I'm mated to someone?"

Why else would he be asking about males?

His eyes bulged and he removed his paw from her shoulders, shaking his head. "O-Oh, no! I wasn't uhm... No, sorry." He shifted his hind legs and wore an awkward smile as he looked away from her lavender eyes. It was like he had been lost in his own world, and she could easily imagine what he was thinking about from the way he reacted in his embarrassment.

She smirked and said, "Well, I'm not, in case you were wondering."

He turned his head and smiled at her while picking at the orange sand. "I'm kind of surprised..."

"Hmm?"

He only grinned wider and changed the subject, "So what is your home like, then?"

She looked him over and let the subject drop for now. "It's a lot like this island... but underwater," she answered and looked at the vibrant life around her. "Lots of plants, rocks, and fish, but they're not quite as colorful. Most things tend to follow the same pattern of colors, so it can get kind of boring."

"But not Masquerlisks, right? I bet you're all very pretty."

She chuckled and shrugged her shoulders. "We tend to match the colors of the ocean too, like blues, greens, purples, but I guess we do have a lot of varying colors from dragon to dragon..."

"I like your blue colors," he said kindly. "And I like how your ivory mask contrasts from them; it accents your pretty lavender eyes."

Kivalna felt a soft blush at her cheeks that she hoped he couldn't see. It wasn't often that a male could say something to get her feeling embarrassed, but with the way he looked at her, she knew he meant what he said. "Oh please," she said and shoved him playfully with a paw. "You just like my colors because they're a lot like yours!"

He shook his head and giggled. "Your colors are much softer than mine. They add to your beauty."

Now he really had her going! "You're full of compliments, aren't you?"

He nodded. "I tend to speak my mind, so I'm sorry if that offends you!"

She bared her teeth in a grin and replied, "I'm just not used to it is all, coming from a winged-dragon like you."

"Do they not like you where you're from?" he asked curiously.

"It just depends... some do, some don't, and some of us don't like winged-dragons either. Some dragons just can't get past their differences."

"That's a shame... Are you from Elasea?"

Kivalna felt that dissonant chord strike once more. Every Masqi was honor-bound to never disclose Elasea's location, so it was a taboo subject to even talk about with a winged-dragon. It felt wrong to give him an answer, even if she wasn't giving away any real information. She liked him enough that she considered at least answering his question, but if she answered this one he would just keep asking more.

"I'm sorry, Eli. I can't tell you that."

"Oh... right."

She stood up to her paws and stretched out. "I think I want to go wander around some more."

He perked his ears and stood up as if to follow her, but he didn't budge. Watching her leave, he seemed stuck in wondering if she wanted his company or if she wanted be alone again. It also looked like he was worried that he upset her.

"You can come with me if you want," she offered and smiled back at him. "I'd just like to go exploring again!"

He padded up to her excitedly and swished his large tail, his troubles forgotten. "Oh! I know of a few places you'd probably like to see. I've done quite a lot of exploring myself. There's a hot springs midway up the mountain that's really neat because you can see the whole... O-Oh yeah, sorry," he apologized sheepishly and tucked his wings against his sides.

"What are you apologizing for?" she asked and bumped into him with her smaller frame.

"I forgot you can't fly," he answered and looked glum. "I wanted to show you the springs."

Kivalna chuckled and hopped forward. "Just because I can't fly doesn't mean I can't climb! I'll race you there!"

His ears perked before he watched her take off. She sprinted forward along the beach, kicking up flurries of sand under her paws that would have pelted him in the face, but he was already lagging far behind. It took him a while to get up to speed--but even then she was much faster than him. Smirking to herself, she slowed down a bit and jumped over some rocks.

"You don't even know where you're going!" he called after her, giggling between breaths.

"I can figure it out! I'm pretty good at these things," she replied and laughed. The mountain loomed over the island at its center. Toward the base of it, colorful plants and trees made a ring around it, but the further up it went, the less life clung to it and exposed the navy-blue rocks.

From here, it looked like a considerable distance away; even if she continued running at the pace she was going, it would be close to the evening before they even reached halfway up it. Glancing behind her, she saw Eli keeping pace now, slowly gaining on her.

Using her agile grace, she ducked into the green forest and wove a path between the curvy trees. The salty scent of the sea dissipated and was replaced by the fresh smell of a humid forest. Animals scattered every which way as she sprinted through the forest. When she looked back, she didn't see Eli anymore. Worried she may have lost him already, she slowed down to a stop and listened for a large dragon rampaging through the trees, but instead she heard the lift of wings and the proceeding flaps as she caught a glimpse of his white underbelly through the canopy.

She smirked and charged forward, surging between brush, trees, and wildlife.

"That's cheating!" she called out to him while he flew directly overhead. She swore she saw the glint of his teeth in a big smirk.

A few minutes later, a small clearing opened up before a grouping of rocks. He landed heavily in the center and padded to a stop as she came barreling out of the forest. She trotted up to him and panted, smiling widely.

"Getting tired already?" she teased and bumped against his shoulder.

He smiled and shook his head. "Flying is a lot easier than running to me," he said. "But I figured if you aren't in a hurry, we could stop and look at a few other neat things I've found."

Her competitive nature wanted her to keep going, but her desire to explore outweighed it. "Like what?"

He only continued to smile as he stepped around the large, dark-blue rocks, leading her to the other side after hopping up onto a smaller pile. To her surprise, there was a rather large crevice sliced into the earth on the other side, like an entrance into the world itself. It led into a decent-sized cave that easily fit the both of them and continued deeper into the darkness.

As the passage took a sharp turn, the little light they had quickly diminished until Kivalna struggled to see. Then, a flash of light flickered across the cave's walls, revealing glistening streaks of gold and blue drawn across the walls like paint.

Eli coughed and cleared his throat. "Sorry, I don't do this all too often," he said and blew a steady flame from his lips, revealing the beauty of the cave once more.

As well as golds and blues, there were a few red stones that blossomed from the walls like flowers. Rocks as black as night reflected the dancing flames from Eli's maw, shimmering. Kivalna's mouth dropped as she looked around; everything was so pretty and shiny, like a cave full of treasure.

The air was thinner and growing colder the deeper they went, but it was just as wet as the humidity outside--Kivalna greatly enjoyed that. The hard ground beneath her paws was smooth and almost unblemished if it weren't for some large grooves here and there. It looked as if the water had helped shape this tunnel.

"This is amazing, Eli," she said breathlessly. "How did you find this place?"

In order to speak, he had to relinquish his flames, so the cave would suddenly go dark--too dark for either of them to see. So, all she had as a reference was his voice beside her. "I just happened to wander across it. It's a lot easier to see landmarks from the sky."

"How long have you been on this island?"

He chuckled. "Probably a few months have gone by now... I haven't had a reason to leave. It's a beautiful place filled with tasty things to eat!"

She watched his flames spout from his mouth again, bringing light to the darkness. "Thank you for showing me this," she said.

He turned his head, careful not to scorch her, and nodded with a contorted smile amidst the flames.

Light eventually shone ahead of them, beckoning the two of them to the exit. The tunnel led them deeper into the island and opened up into another rocky formation in the middle of the forest. Rain fell from the sky, pattering against the fronds above them. With gray clouds blocking the sun, the temperature dropped considerably.

Inhaling a deep breath, Kivalna took it all in and felt her mind and body relax. "Where to next, big guy?"

He tilted his head toward the mountain and stepped forward. "This way!"

They walked side-by-side and chatted instead of rushing to the mountain. After another eventful day, Kivalna felt tired with sore aching in her limbs and decided that it would probably be best to just walk for now. And, she listened to some of Eli's stories of his icy homeland--she was very interested in what it was like, and she didn't mind hearing more details about him.

Kivalna wasn't afraid to share more of her life, too. She told him about what it was like to live underwater and about her friends that she had made in her adventures. Eli liked to ask her questions too, and a lot of them, but he was careful about what he asked, creeping around the subject of Elasea.

The land gradually inclined toward the center of the island, enough that Kivalna could look behind them and see the beach through the trees. As they approached the base of the mountain, darkness swept over the land. Being in the shadow of the mountain, it happened quickly and left them seeking shelter in the dark. It didn't take long to find an alcove they could both fit in, even if it did leave them with their tails touching.

Neither of them minded the close contact, and Kivalna was sure he was thinking about the same subject that she was, but neither of them seemed to want to be the first to bring it up. They were different species after all, but she did feel rather... close to him. She considered him a friend at the very least!

When the sun rose the next day, it pierced right inside their shelter and brought the whole mountainside to blazing life. The dew along the treetops shimmered under the rising sun, adding to the already vibrant colors of the island. As Kivalna climbed up and ascended higher above the trees, she saw the pristine water lapping at the orange shores. Here, she saw the colors of blue, orange, and green standing apart, one solid color to the other.

"You're pretty good at this climbing stuff, Kiva," Eli said above her, grinning, and then teased, "It's a lot slower than flying, and a lot more work, but it gets the job done."

Kivalna smirked at him and jumped up to the ledge he was on and pushed him close to the edge so he dug his claws in to keep from falling. "Keep that up and I'll make you start from the bottom again."

He chuckled and helped her up the next ledge by acting as a solid rock, standing tall and firm. She clambered up his body and reached up to pull herself over. "I would just fly back up here." She extended a paw to him from the ledge above, helping him up to the next level. He stood at the edge and looked down before kicking off a small rock that tumbled and clacked until it disappeared. "But uhm... do be careful that you don't like... actually push me off. It takes a little bit of time and preparation to extend my wings and catch the wind with them, and I'd probably hit a rock or two before I could get them open and probably fall to my death."

She looked back at him with a devilish grin. "Then don't call me Kiva," she cooed playfully.

He swallowed and nodded. "Yes, ma'am," he returned. "Are all Masquerlisks as mean as you?"

"Oh, I'm mean now, huh?"

He giggled and nodded. "Maybe not that mean... What about bold? Are other Masquerlisks as adventurous as you are?"

Kivalna continued along a cliff that curled around the mountain and ascended like a ramp. "No, unfortunately. Most of us tend to stick around where we were born and only mingle with our kind. I tend to find that... boring, but there are a few I know of that are like me. My friend Felo likes to hunt on land, too, and we sometimes go together. He doesn't like eating fish all the time."

"Oh, I see. Well, I hope I get to meet more like you," he said and walked behind her. There wasn't much room for the two of them to walk side-by-side, as there was a steep drop-off on their right.

She smiled and looked back at him. "Maybe someday."

A hopeful gleam shone in his golden eyes. "Oh hey, uhm... I think the springs are right above us," he said and looked up. "Yeah, let me go check." He stepped back and used his powerful legs and wings to help propel himself in the air before he extended them fully and flew about a hundred feet above her head. He disappeared for a moment before she saw his blue head poke out from the rocks.

He yelled, "It's right here!"

Kivalna scoffed to herself before shouting back, "Give me a few minutes and I'll be up there!"

Kivalna jumped up a few ledges and climbed up another thirty feet or so before reaching another level where she could jump up and grab onto another platform. It only took about five minutes, but by the end of it she was panting hard and ready to relax her sore muscles. Digging her claws and talons into the earth and stone, she heaved herself over the last step and met Eli who was waiting patiently for her while looking over the other cliff side.

When she sat down beside him, she saw what he saw: a beautiful, verdant forest stretching out for about a mile toward the blue sea, declining down a hill. Rain rolled in from the south and obscured that portion of the island, but the rest of the island's beautiful colors lay exposed. Above them wasn't much more left of the mountain--it appeared that nothing but rocks remained. The plateau they were on was the last evidence of a vibrant world before it turned barren.

Grass tickled her paws as she walked and looked around. "I don't see any springs," she said and touched the soft bark of a single tree hanging above her. "It's a nice spot, though. It feels secluded and peaceful."

Eli walked to the only other tree on the same level as them and gestured down at his feet. "I may have exaggerated a little bit," he said and laughed. "I forgot there's only one pool big enough for us here, but it's not too small!"

Kivalna hopped over to him and saw a cloudy pool of water that bubbled and spilled over the edge of the cliff. Around them were smaller pools fit for the tiniest of dragons--Kivalna could only think of one dragon small enough to fit in there! The pool in front of her steamed and spouted hot water, and it was almost too hot to the touch. The small pool was plenty big enough for the two of them at once, but a third dragon would make it crowded.

"Here I was expecting a nice, relaxing cave with steamy pools of water," she replied and giggled. After holding her paw in it for a moment, she realized it wasn't so hot and it felt soothing on the sore pads of her paw--after climbing all day, her paws ached. "It's perfect."

Before Kivalna could step into the pool, Eli said, "Hey, before we relax, I'd like to uhm... I'd like to try something."

Kivalna's face flushed as her thoughts immediately went somewhere inappropriate. It didn't help that he approached her and hovered over her closely. And it especially didn't help when he stepped over her smaller body and felt his weight on her back. "H-Hey! What do you think you're doing, big guy?"

"Do you trust me?" he asked simply. His big forepaws gripped her chest as he pulled her against his underbelly. Her rump fit perfectly right between his legs, and she felt his warm, soft, male parts squishing against her hide.

Kivalna couldn't have felt her face get any hotter as her body squirmed up against him. She didn't deny him but nor did she accept him, keeping her tail tucked almost between her legs as he mounted her. "W-What... I... I guess so..."

This is happening so fast! Am I going to let him... so soon? I can't really stop him even if I didn't want it, but... I think I want it.

"I trust you," she said and half-way submitted to him as he moved into a better position, wrapping both of his arms around her smaller body and enveloping her in a warm embrace. She had never felt so awkward and confused with a male before because normally she was in control!

He edged forward and pushed into her, guiding her steps. She walked with him, half in a daze and half paying attention before fear gripped her chest tightly. He walked her toward the edge of the cliff, and the amazing view below her suddenly became a death trap. "W-What... Wait! I ca--SPIRITS, WHAT ARE YOU--"

The rest of her cries were muffled by wind howling in her ears.

The whole wide world below her suddenly came a whole lot closer and flipped around so that it was above her. What was once solid, immovable ground now swirled in her vision. It felt like she swallowed her stomach as she fell from the cliff, plummeting down, down, down to her death. As she closed her mouth and accepted her fate, she watched the beautiful trees open up to devour her into the earth, but finally Eli flared his wings open and squeezed around her tightly, and she felt her body lurch with his as he held her without falter.

They surged forward high above the treetops, far from danger. Now, the land was beneath her again while the wind still roared in her ears. She squinted through the buffeting gusts to see the green blur of trees passing below them. After the initial terror, Kivalna calmed herself down but felt her heart racing and hammering against her chest. The land she once walked whizzed by as she flew with Eli.

She was a Masquerlisk that had taken to the skies!

Eli's wings beat heavily as he climbed higher into the sky. Tilting them, he gracefully turned around and angled away from the beach to fly to the other side of the island.

Now that Kivalna had the chance to understand what was happening, she was absolutely thrilled, her fears forgotten. She watched the land zoom by beneath her with a new perspective. Never before did she think she'd have an opportunity like this--she doubted any Masquerlisk ever had! Taking it all in, it filled her heart with joy and a smile curled her lips.

Eli's muscles flexed and strained to keep them both in the sky. He held her tightly against his broad chest, and his body swayed up and down with the flaps of his large, sinewy wings. It felt like he was an extension of her body, and it truly felt like Kivalna was soaring through the air.

In a way, it felt like they were swimming through the sky. They could go up, down, side to side, and any which way they pleased. The floor beneath them would always stay exactly where it was, though sometimes it would appear closer or further away. The details of the land were sometimes obscured, especially the higher they flew.

With her sharp eyesight, she saw animals peacefully living without the disturbance of her running around. They were none-the-wiser to the dragons above them. Even the plants seemed less disturbed without a dragon trampling through the forest. From here, the world could be observed without touching it.

Eli lazily banked toward the beach and flew alongside it to show her the stark difference between land and sea from the sky. It was a dream-come-true for Kivalna.

Unfortunately, Eli couldn't keep going forever. He had to turn back toward the mountain, struggling to climb to the same height as they were before. She felt him straining and heard him panting, gasping for breath as his wings beat frantically to keep them from falling. Even so, she was hardly fazed. She wished she could have seen the whole island, but she was happy to revel in the experience he gave her.

Eli dropped her off at the cliff and hobbled to a stop ahead of her, wings flaring out before closing at his flanks. His chest heaved, but he looked back at her with a big, toothy smile to judge her reaction, and she flashed him a bright, joyful grin right back.

But then she sprinted and slammed into him, shoving him with enough force that he stumbled to the side and yelped. "H-Hey! Watch it..."

"You could have told me what you were planning on doing!" she huffed and nipped at his neck. "I thought I was going to die!"

He giggled and nipped back at her playfully. "I wanted to surprise you! Did you like it?"

Kivalna rolled her eyes but she broke out in laughter. "Yes, I loved it," she said and pushed his muzzle away with a paw. "I never... That was... Thank you." Even if he did terrify her at first, it only added to her experience. She felt the thrill and rush of flight and got a taste for what it was like--and she wanted more. She looked down at her paws and gripped the ground while she imagined flying again.

"You're welcome," he replied and gestured to the pool. "Shall we?"

Being the chivalrous and polite dragon that he was, he let Kivalna into the pool first so she could try it out and find a comfortable position. She couldn't see where her paws were, so she had to touch to feel around and find a few natural ledges carved along the side of the pool. Hot, relaxing water enveloped her in a comforting embrace.

After all the excitement that rushed through her like a tidal wave, it felt good to rest.

Kivalna stretched out her sore limbs and found a nice, suitable spot to lie down that left nearly her whole body submerged, save for her neck and head. Her hide thanked her for the rejuvenation and lost its stiffness.

Eli climbed into the pool after her and rumbled, followed by a sigh of relief as he managed to fit his large body in with her. She imagined that his wings ached terribly and that the water helped soothe them immensely. They were an arm's length away, but neither of them seemed to mind the closeness. After their journey here together, Kivalna was quite comfortable with him.

"Feels good, right?" he asked her and settled down on his side too.

She nodded and elicited a soft purr. "And the view is quite nice too," she said and looked over the edge of the cliff, admiring the vast scenery displayed before her. It was nothing like what she experienced flying with him, but being high up on the mountain, she could see everything from the comfort of the natural, steamy pool. The unending, blue ocean stretched from one horizon to the other, surrounding the tropical island. While she relaxed, she played through her recent memories and imagined herself flying.

"It's almost as beautiful as you," he cooed.

Kivalna lifted her tail and splashed hot, steaming water at him, making him flinch into a fit of giggles. "If you don't stop being so corny, I'm going to stab you with my tail next time!"

"Okay, okay! But you totally gave me that one," he defended.

She chuckled and laid her tail down close to his before they curled together in a friendly display. Warmth blossomed her chest as they held tails, feeling elated to share joy with Eli.

"What do you plan on doing next?" he asked. He scooted closer to her to look out over the edge of the pool too, taking in the stunning view with her. Now they were close, like friends would be, and Kivalna didn't mind that at all.

"I don't know for sure... Probably what I always do," she answered. "I'll go on another adventure and see where the currents take me."

He tilted his head at her. "So you just sort of wander... aimlessly?"

She uncertainly nodded and smiled. "It's what I've always done. I sort of have an idea of where I'm going--I mean, I always know how to get back home. I know a lot of dragons act like they know where they're going and why, but I just let the water take me... I guess in your case you let the winds guide you, right? That's how you ended up so far from home?"

His golden eyes glowed with thoughtful comprehension. "Yeah... I guess that's what happened, more or less. I never really thought about it like that." A connection sparked between them, and she felt butterflies in her stomach. "Life is more fun that way."

Kivalna squeezed his tail with hers. "Sometimes I feel like I'm just along for the ride, but it's the moments in places like this that make me feel like I'm doing the right thing--that I'm on the right path."

She looked at him with a soft gaze and moved her forepaw over his, resting it on top of his paw in the water as an affectionate gesture. Romantic tension swirled around her mind and she felt the queasiness in her stomach increase until she squeezed his paw and let go. "Thank you, Eli."

"That's Eliyaran to you," he teased with a big grin.

Kivalna glared at him and playfully bapped his snout with a paw. "You do really know how to ruin the mood!" Her feigned anger faded into giggles as they laughed together and enjoyed one another's company.

It had felt like ages since Kivalna had found someone to make her laugh like he did, to make her feel warm, genuine emotions. The more time she spent with him, the more she grew to like him. Although he had seemed like a big, scary dragon at first, he turned out to be one of the sweetest dragons she knew. For a winged-drake, he had a kind heart.

They spent the next while talking and relaxing together in the bubbling spring water. Clouds passed closer by than what Kivalna was used to, and the rain that rolled over the island earlier was now gone. Time continued on while the world around them slowly shifted.

At some point during their conversations, Kivalna looked over at Eli and let her mind roam and wander to subjects that she kept to herself. After feeling what it was like to get mounted by him earlier, it left her with a curious desire to feel what it would actually be like to be with a winged-dragon. She wondered what his cock would look and feel like, and whether or not he would be too big for her.

Eventually, those thoughts nagged at her enough that she decided to test the waters and see what Eli wanted, if he was interested in her like she thought he was.

We are still dragons, after all! Playing with one another is just another way of showing friendliness.

Kivalna purred as she climbed out of the hot pool of water, water dripping from her glistening, steel-blue hide and pattering against the grass. She flopped onto her back and stretched out comfortably, refreshed and rejuvenated. She knew she was exposing her body to Eli, but it was what she wanted. As soon as he glanced over at her, she felt the tangible sensation of his golden eyes trailing over her length.

She didn't go as far as spreading her legs wide open for him, but with the way she kicked and stretched them, it wasn't hard for him to see her soft slit between her thighs. Her sky-blue underbelly stretched all the way down her underside from the top of her neck to the tip of her tail, making her look as soft as she felt.

Acting cute and out of character, she rubbed her head against the ground and wiggled her lithe body, unafraid to show it off to him. And finally, she rolled onto her belly and smiled at him.

"I haven't felt this relaxed in years," she said with a soft smile.

"I-I heard that massages are always nice after relaxing in hot water," he blatantly offered.

Kivalna felt her chest thrum at that idea. Usually she had no problem seducing males when she wanted to, but most of the time they were drooling all over her by now. Eli seemed like the type of dragon to want to take things slower, and she admired and respected him for it.

"I'd love one, Eli," she said and adjusted her position on her belly as he stepped over to her. Lustful instincts coursed through her mind as she glanced back at him. He hovered over her back, and she could almost feel his weight and warmth falling over her like he was securing his mount, just as before when he took her flying. Pushing those stirring thoughts out of her mind, she gained control over herself again and sprawled out beneath him as his large, rough paws kneaded into her smooth, seamless back.

Kivalna let out a deep purr and closed her eyes and rested her head against her forepaws. It felt wonderful to be able to relax like this, and her overworked muscles thanked her for it. His touch traveled up and down her blue back, focusing mostly on her shoulders and flanks, but then he squeezed around her rump and made her tail flick excitedly.

"You're really good at this," she said and rumbled delightedly. "Have you had practice?"

He chuckled and pinched the base of her neck between his paws, massaging just firm enough that it felt amazingly good. "I've done it a few times," he answered. "But scales are a lot harder to work with than your soft hide. It's a lot easier to find your muscles and massage them."

"Mmmm, well keep going... It feels nice," she purred.

"Gladly," he said and used some of his weight to push her down under his kneading paws. She loved every second of it, including some of the more erotic details of how he touched her. His paws slid from her shoulders to her haunches, sometimes squeezing them and caressing all around her hind end.

All she had to do was relax and let him take care of her. She wasn't quite used to the idea of relaxing--Kivalna was always excited to be doing something--but this was heavenly.

It felt good to have her lower-back massaged, and it felt even better when he focused on her rump and haunches. She curled her toes and hummed happily, eyes closed and muscles soothed. The longer he lingered there, the more naughty thoughts popped into her mind, and some of them she wanted to explore here and now.

As he squeezed down her hind leg, she asked, "Have you ever mated with someone before?"

"I-I uhm... Yes, I have," he stuttered. "A few times..." He lifted her hind paws up and massaged them tenderly, pushing his thumb-digits deep into the taught sinewy muscles there. "A lot of times," he admitted with a quiet rumble.

"Did you enjoy it?"

"Well... y-yeah. Who doesn't enjoy mating?" he chuckled. "What about you? I take it that a beautiful dragoness such as yourself has had plenty of opportunities."

She smiled and cooed as he rubbed her paws, flexing her toes around his digits. "I've been with a few partners, yes," she admitted. "And I've played with a pawful of others." Her last remark was meant to be suggestive to him.

"They were all very lucky," he said softly and slowly rubbed up to her inner thigh, sensually touching close to where her legs met her body.

"Yeah, I suppose so, but they were all of my species... Have you played with another species before?" she asked with another insinuating coo.

"Th-That depends on what you're implying by 'played'. I uhm... I haven't done anything... like... like this before," he answered and gently grazed her groin close to her slit without touching it.

Kivalna let out a soft huff and slightly lifted her tail. "K-Keep going," she said with a hot blush. "I don't mind."

Eli chirred deeply and pushed his paw between her legs as she lifted her tail up for him. His digits danced along the crease of her slit, rubbing at either side. To feel the foreign touch of a winged-drake sent shivers up her spine. She had to calm herself down again so she could relax, and as soon as she did she let out a soft moan to encourage him.

"You're very soft," he said.

"Mmmmmmm... I remember you saying that earlier."

"Yeah, I didn't expect you to be this soft..."

Arousing, tingling pleasure trickled through her loins and down her thighs, helping her fall into a pleasured lull as she rested on her belly. For having much larger and rougher digits, Eli was surprisingly dexterous. Kivalna wasn't sure if it was because it had been a while since she did anything naughty with another dragon or if Eli was exceptionally good at finding all of the right spots, but she felt extra sensitive in her lower regions. Even when his paw slid down her inner thigh she shuddered.

"Turn on your back for me?" he asked while cupping and rubbing her groin.

Kivalna blushed warmly and rolled over onto her back. She wondered what he had planned and what they were willing to do together after such a short time of getting to know one another. Would he be forward in wanting to mate with her or would he continue to only touch her?

With her legs spread apart, she presented her body to him, letting instinct guide her decisions. If he wanted to take her, would she stop him? It felt strange to let a winged-dragon touch her and to be so intimate with her, but she loved the idea of it and all of the new sensations.

Eli's paw continued to caress her slit while he stared down at it. Now that Kivalna was growing more aroused from his touch, she felt hot and moist between her legs, and it wasn't long before a digit of his slipped between her lips and collected her slick nectar.

Their eyes met as he fingered her, each of them embarrassed in their own way but more than willing to share in the intimacy as they grew more comfortable with one another.

"You're beautiful," he said to her. She followed his eyes and watched them trail up and down the length of her body before resting at his prize. Now that she was aroused and that her nethers were warm, her slit looked a little puffy and opened up to reveal more of her glistening pink flesh.

"You're not so bad yourself, handsome," she cooed and lay back, confidently displaying herself.

He smiled and pushed her legs open as he lowered his muzzle. She blushed hotly at her cheeks, somewhat surprised to see him going down on her so soon, but she definitely wasn't going to complain! His nostrils flared open as he took in her scent, and he let out a hot breath of air that caressed her warm vent.

"Ooh... Eli..." She tucked her paws against her chest and watched him nuzzle between her thighs, brushing his large head against them before placing several tender licks around her nether lips. Those licks were so soft and gentle, and they made the anticipation she felt swell with excitement before his tongue dragged firmly across her slit and made her moan out her pleasure.

Eli was soft and tender as he kissed and licked her sex. It was as if he was testing the waters and getting used to her scent and flavor, which she imagined was far different than what he was used to. The longer he licked her, the more confident he felt. His hot tongue smoothly slathered across her wet lips over and over again before delving past them and into her folds, sending shivers up and down her body.

Kivalna curled her toes and sucked in a short breath; she released it in a delicate moan, encouraging him for more, and he was more than happy to deliver.

For a while, she simply watched him lap at her vent. It was hot to see a male pleasure her, to have his head buried between her open legs. All she had to do was relax and enjoy it, but before long she was squirming on her back and gasping as bliss bloomed in the back of her mind. Occasionally, his tongue or nose would bump against her erect clitoris, and that always sent a jolt of pleasure coursing down her legs and tail.

His tongue plunged into her entrance and slipped deeper into her soft, velvety folds, walls clenching down around it. She moaned louder and flexed her toes with her eyes sewn shut. Even if they were a different species, the pleasure he brought her felt the same, and it was amazing.

Warmth bubbled inside her like a dam ready to burst. She felt every inch of his long tongue wriggling around inside her, lapping at her flesh. Opening her eyes for just a moment, he watched him eat her out, a big, scaled muzzle going down on her and relentlessly lapping at her sensitive vagina. Sometimes, she would half-buck and half-roll her hips into his muzzle just to feel it move and bend inside her, eliciting soft pants from her lips. Her muscles quivered around his thick tongue, and she knew she was close.

"Eli... I'm... I'm close... Aaahh..." She pinched her eyes shut and her muzzle scrunched with pleasure. If he didn't see the blush at her cream-colored face before, he would definitely see it now! Her lower-belly tingled with delight, causing a soft, gentle current to wash down her legs to the tips of her toes. She clenched her hind paws and felt her orgasm start there, trembling down, down, and down until it blossomed deep in her loins and echoed throughout her trembling body.

Kivalna sucked in another breath and let out a deep, lusty moan as the pressure in her sex released. Her walls pulsated around his tongue and squeezed it, trying to tug it deeper as her warm secretions coated it and his lips once it came oozing out of her. Through her orgasm he continued to lick her after pulling his tongue out, cleaning and tending to her drenched sex. It felt utterly amazing until the very end when she felt too sensitive, but he seemed to realize it from her twitching and pulled his snout away from her, licking the tip of it clean.

Kivalna tried to relax and catch her breath after getting worked up to her climax. After such an exhilarating, pleasurable experience, it left her heart racing and her body satisfied. But once she took in a deep breath, she smelled a thick, musky scent and realized that Eli was in need of the same satisfaction.

When she looked up at him, she saw him licking his chops clean and staring at her wet groin, his eyes half-glazed--her pheromones appeared to have the same effect on him just like it did with her species. And when she peeked between his legs, she saw his hard, needy length twitching and waiting to be pleasured.

Like most of her kind, his flesh was pink, but it protruded out of his sheath instead of a slit. And it had multiple ridges following down the underside of his shaft below a bulbous tip. It looked thicker near the base, and she saw the curves of muscles lining up and down it, making her wonder what it would feel like. Below that were his virile stones sagging at the base of his tail between his thighs.

Even though she felt spent, her lusts stirred within her as she turned onto her paws. Knowing what would come next, he sat back on his rump and kicked his legs out, half-leaning to one side as he sat up and braced himself on his forearms. He smiled awkwardly at her like he wasn't sure what to do, blushing hotly.

"D-Did that feel good?" he asked and watched her move his legs apart. He found a rock to lean against and slowly lay back, not quite as relaxed as she had been but still very willing and eager to have his turn.

"What do you think?" she cooed and curled her paw around his warm, slippery flesh, giving it a few tender strokes to start. Her paw slid up to his tip and back down to his groin, bumping against his ridges, and squeezed around his base.

"Haahh..." He closed his eyes and clenched his toes, tail tapping against the ground. She loved the way his muzzle scrunched as she touched him. Having control over a big male like him was exciting to her, and he relinquished it so willingly.

His white underbelly was exposed to her, every inch lined with smooth, seamless scales. The bottoms of his paws and the tips of his toes were white, too, though all of his horns, spikes, claws, and talons were black. Her vision mostly lingered around his groin, admiring his drakehood that piqued her lust.

Kivalna sat up in front of him as she tended to his needy flesh. Reaching down, she curiously touched and felt his two plump orbs. They were as soft as her hide, speckled with tiny scales. Having never felt a male like this before, she wondered if her own species had testicles this large hiding inside their slits. It was a different sensation to grab and squeeze a male's exposed virility, and it seemed like he enjoyed it!

"D-Do you like having these played with?" Kivalna asked and lifted his stones to roll them in her paw. She could barely fit them in one paw, so she decided to use two and knead at them from both sides.

He inhaled a deep breath and nodded. "I t-take it your kind doesn't uhm... have those?"

Kivalna shook her head. She squeezed his cock from its base all the way up to its tip, watching a glob of pre ooze out of it and drizzle down his shaft and her wet paw. One paw rubbed his cock and the other curiously groped his sack. "No, they hide inside a male's body."

"Aahmm... that's a shame--they are fun to play with."

That gave her a hot mental image of him playing with himself, touching, feeling, and groping every part of his drakehood. She blushed deeply and continued to stroke his hard, pulsing length as well as rub his testicles. Then, she thought of him with another male--she had watched something like that before. "Oh, they are, huh? You like to play with balls?"

He opened his eyes half-way and looked down at her, nodding. A hot blush blossomed in his face, mostly from arousal but also from what he was about to say, "I've never been with a female..."

Kivalna blinked. "O-Oh, really? You've only mated with males? I thought I was just teasing!"

"You're the first female I've ever been... attracted to," he said softly. He took in a deep breath and let out a huff while she continued to paw him off as they talked.

It seemed that the more she rubbed him, the more relaxed he felt. After he let out a soft sigh, she watched his body sink into the rock he leaned against, his legs left spread open for her so she could tend to him. His eyes were closed but his maw was parted, eliciting hot breaths.

"I could think of a few of my friends that would love to try you out," she added and purred. "You have a nice cock." Thinking about watching two males go at it was hot to her, too, and she wouldn't mind being in the middle! "Do you like being the top?"

He chuckled and shook his head. "I've always been the bottom."

"A big guy like you?" she asked and grinned. "I would have thought you loved to dominate smaller males under you."

"I uhm... well, I wouldn't mind trying it, I suppose, mmmmm... Just never had the chance." He closed his eyes for a moment and rolled his hips as she squeezed her small paw around the slippery head of his cock. "Y-You know how I talked about paying a t-tribute?"

"That's what you did?" she asked with a deep blush warming her face. "And you... enjoyed being used like that?" Kivalna liked having control of most situations, even when it came to the more sexual subjects, but admittedly, sometimes it did sound rather erotic to give someone else control--even if only for a short moment!

He rumbled and bucked a little into her paw, a warm streak of pre oozing down her digits. "Mmmm, yes... for the most part. I was indifferent to it at first, but he always seemed to enjoy it, and after a few more times I started to really like it. Once I learned to relax it uhm... You probably don't want to hear about that," he said and chuckled, embarrassed as he hid behind his paws.

She smirked and firmly squeezed the base of his cock. "I'd love to hear more about that," she purred and looked up into his glassy eyes. "Tell me all the raunchy details."

"Mmmmm... Well, I was sort of like his mate, in a way. We liked each other enough, though I mostly lived on my own. Every so often he'd find me or I'd come to see him and I'd... offer myself to him." He clenched his toes and blew hot air from his nostrils.

She looked at him expectantly and slowed down her stroking--like she was making him work for it.

"And I uhm... mmmm... I'd let him mount me and he'd get under my tail and push me down and thrust inside me. I'd rock with him and feel his body pounding against mine. It always happened so fast, but it always felt so good, even if sometimes he left me wanting more. I think that's what really drove me wild for it someti--aaaahh..."

Kivalna's face warmed as she let her imagination run wild. His flesh pulsed in her paw, thickening and oozing pre. It helped eased the friction of her paw against his shaft and made it easier for her to quickly slide up and down his length, rewarding him. Her paw gently patted against his groin and made his orbs jiggle.

A large glob of his pre oozed out of his tip and drizzled down her small paw as she pumped his flesh up and down. Seeing that along with his masculine scent thickening the air stirred her loins with another warm wave of arousal. "Was his cock like yours? With these curves and ridges?"

"Y-Yeah... It was a little different from mine, and he was pretty big too..." He watched her intently as she pawed him off. "It felt really good when he humped me, slow or fast. I could feel almost every detail of it."

"I'm used to smooth cocks without many details... I bet you feel amazing," she cooed softly.

He gulped hard and curled his tail around her leg. "Would you like to try it?"

"O-Oh! Uhm..." She wriggled a little bit, fighting against some of her primal urges. Admittedly, she wanted it, and she wanted it now. Seeing that he was willing to take it another step forward made her want to too, but she didn't want to give her body to him so soon. To pleasure each other like this seemed harmless without any more implications of just being friends, but when mating was involved, it always felt like she was sharing herself with someone she cherished. Not that she didn't like Eli, but she still didn't feel like she knew him too well yet. "How about we wait a little longer for that?" she asked kindly, smiling up at him. "I'd like to get used to what a winged-drake is like first."

He nodded and chuckled, giving her hind leg a firm squeeze with his tail. She was happy that denying him didn't seem to affect his mood. She was still stroking him off, after all! "Have you... Have you been with another female before?" he asked to change the subject.

He flexed his toes and shifted his legs around, tail thumping against the ground--even his wings were twitching and quivering with the rest of his limbs. It was obvious how much he was enjoying this, and she loved it too.

Smirking, she answered, "A few times, yes."

"How did you do it?" he asked, looking down at her. His eyes looked heavy, like he could barely keep them open. "I mean, males have cocks so we can hump each other, but females can't really do that, can they?"

She giggled and smiled brightly. "No, we don't really hump each other, but in my experiences I have found lots of fun ways to share pleasure with a female partner," she cooed. "Usually we just use our muzzles!"

"A-Aahh... That sounds... hot. One time, I think my partner was in a really good mood or he just really wanted to taste me, but I can remember almost every blissful detail when he used his muzzle on me. I had never felt pleasure like that and mmmmm..." He squirmed a little against the rock and took in a deep breath.

"Yeah?" Slowly, Kivalna tilted her muzzle down and inched toward his large cock. His musk was powerful and filled with masculine pheromones and hints of earthy scents. It was intoxicating to her, even if she was a different species. As she rubbed her nose against it, all she wanted to do was lift her tail for him and let the big drake bury his cock inside her, but she resisted the temptations and instead slathered her tongue flatly up his thick shaft.

"Oooh, yes... please continue..." After a few more long, wet licks like that, she had him moaning. Even if he wouldn't be mounting her and shoving his length deep inside her, she would be sure to make him spill his virile seed.

"That feels really good..." He watched her for a small amount of time before he threw his head back and moaned, resting it against the rock as he relinquished his body to her. "I won't last much longer..."

"Rwrrrrrr..." Kivalna eagerly licked his spire from base to tip, leaving not a single spot of his pink flesh left untouched by her tongue. She knew he would be difficult to fit, but she wanted to try it anyway: she began by pursing her lips over his tip and swirling her tongue around it. Pre coated her tongue and she swallowed it as she slowly took him into her mouth.

"Aaaahhh!" He tried to buck, but she pushed her paws down on his thighs and kept him from accidentally jabbing one of her sharp teeth or making her take too much at once. More and more of his thick shaft stretched her jaw open, widening with every inch until it wouldn't anymore.

Giving herself a short break, she let his flesh slip free from her mouth, kissing and licking the tip of it, before taking it again--deeper this time. With a lewd slurp, she sucked on his cock and swallowed around it with it buried almost as far as it would go inside her maw. The bulbous tip pressed against the back of her tongue, and as it slipped into her throat, she lightly gagged around it.

After a few more bobs of her head like that, she heard him breathing hard, gasping for breath, and letting out lusty moans. His length pulsed in her muzzle and oozed a few more thick globs of slimy pre. With one paw, she held the base of his length and squeezed it hard while the other paw pushed against his groin and held him steady. Sometimes, she would fondle his stones instead, enjoying the sense of virility from them.

She found it amusing that Eli enjoyed males almost as much as she did, if not more so! Wondering how many times he was in a position similar to this, she imagined him going down a faceless drake, enjoying every moment of sucking his cock.

"K-Kiva--aaaaahhh... D-Don't stop... I'm... almost there!"

Kivalna listened to him, blushing hotly at her cheeks. Not only did she hear him about to reach his orgasm, but she could feel it in the way his body trembled and how his length throbbed in her tight maw. She bobbed her head slowly and let her tongue do most of the work as it swirled around his flesh and brushed against his sensitive tip.

"O-Ooh! Aaaaahhhh!" The first rope of hot, dragon seed splashed against the back of her throat and made her gag around his pulsating member. He spilled his cum forcefully and in thick strands, quickly filling her mouth and oozing past her lips. Her loins couldn't have felt hotter as she swallowed his potent liquid and felt more of it spilling into her mouth.

"Hahhh... aaahhh..." He came hard and plentifully until his length stopped throbbing and began twitching. Kivalna shuddered and swallowed another gulp of his seed before cleaning his cock, her tongue lashing out and slathering up and down his quivering spire.

Eli lay back and panted while squirming beneath her as she licked his sensitive length clean. She even lapped around his orbs and groin to collect every last drop until she finally pulled her muzzle away and looked up into his glazed eyes with a lusty gaze of her own.

"How was that, handsome?" she asked as she stepped beside him and leaned against his flank. Her paw rubbed his smooth, white underbelly, traveling from his groin to his chest.

He rumbled in response and licked her cheek affectionately. "That was wonderful, Kiva. Er--I mean, Kivalna," he said and braced himself for a paw to hit him.

But she only smiled and licked him back. "You must have been pent-up. I've never had a drake cum so much before... Well, I've never been with anyone as big as you!"

"I was pretty pent-up," he admitted and nuzzled her. "I've been thinking about that a lot lately."

Kivalna purred and caressed his chest as they relaxed together. "Me too... It was nice."

"I-Is there a chance we will... do it again?" The warm glow in his golden eyes expressed his desire for her. She looked into them and felt herself craving for more, too.

"I'd love to, Eli," she answered and felt his softening cock, idly rubbing it. "You're a very handsome dragon."

His face flushed. "Thank you... And you're a beautiful dragoness."

She grinned and squeezed his retreating member before standing up and wandering to the hot pool again. With the swish of her tail, she looked back at him and teasingly responded, "I know!"

Eli shifted to his paws and lumbered after her, and they cleaned themselves in the springs while talking about sex. He asked her all sorts of questions about how most Masquerlisks mated, and she explained to him that it was nearly the same as all dragons. Then, she indulged him with explaining what a male's cock looked and felt like, describing every detail to him that she could think of. In return, he described what it was like to be with another male and how they mated together.

It wasn't much later that the sun began to set again, leaving them in the cool darkness near the top of the mountain. Instead of searching for shelter, they curled up together under one of the trees. Kivalna was small enough to fit under Eli's wing that acted as a blanket for her. His body was warm and comfortable, and she felt relaxed with him--safe and secure.

Eli purred happily along with her and kept her tucked against his underbelly as they snuggled and fell asleep sharing intimacy.

The bright, orange sun shimmered just over the horizon. Cool, dewy air graced Kivalna's hide as she stood at the summit of the mountain. Behind her was the fading moon and stars, softly speckling the sky. From here, she watched the entire world--from one edge of the world to the other--bloom to life around her, one league at a time. The sun's light warmed the air and roused the plants and animals from the night.

Eli landed beside her and peered over the edge, staring straight down. "You don't ever get scared you'll fall or something?"

Kivalna chuckled and shook her head. "Not really! I don't scare easy." As if to demonstrate, she stepped closer to the edge and peered over it before casting down a rock which clicked and clacked until it was inaudible.

Eli smirked. "What about giant spiders?"

She squinted at him. "Giant spiders?"

"Yeah, spiders that are... giant." He extended his arms and wings to express just how big they were.

With a playful bap on his snout, she responded, "I have no reason to fear normal spiders, so why should a giant one scare me?"

"You would be surprised..." A visible shudder trembled down his spine to the tip of his tail. "So, Miss Fearless, are you ready to go flying again?"

Kivalna couldn't hide her excitement; she practically danced in place at the mentioning of that. "Yes, please!"

Now that she knew what Eli was doing, letting him mount her like that was way less strange and anxiety-inducing. Her body tucked perfectly under his belly, pushing right up against his warm, white scales. His arms wrapped around her smaller frame and held her securely. Stepping forward, Kivalna felt her heart thudding in her chest.

As they leapt forward, Kivalna felt her guts lurch with the sudden descent. The land blurred together in a rush of wind that howled in her ears. Faster and faster they fell, plummeting from the top of the mountain. When Eli spread his wings and caught the wind, they reeled backward into a glide.

Adrenaline pumped through Kivalna's veins like fire. She loved that sensation even if it did make her limbs feel jittery. She wondered what it felt like on his wings to fly like that. "Is flying always that rough?"

He chuckled and answered, "No, I just like to show off! Depending on the air currents, it can be easy and relaxing or difficult and tiring."

Kivalna nodded and noted, "So kind of like swimming?"

"Yeah, I suppose so. I don't swim very often!"

"And I don't get to fly hardly ever," she giggled. Looking below her, she watched the vibrant treetops roll by like the sea. Eli angled toward the beach and dipped down. Kivalna took it all in while she could, enjoying every second of flying with Eli.

But not much later they landed close to the water, kicking up the orange sand. Smiling at each other, they picked up right where they left off, continuing from one conversation to the other.

Kivalna was happy to have someone to talk to this time around. Normally she didn't mind the company but preferred solitude so she could curiously explore. Most of her friends or anyone she had met didn't have the same taste for adventure as hers, so she was quite happy in sharing the experience with someone else. Even if he seemed more interested in her than the actual adventure, she liked talking to him. She even decided to ask questions of her own!

"So how do you control it? Is it just a feeling you get, like a natural instinct?" Kivalna pondered.

Eli chuckled and shrugged his wings while he walked beside her. "It's something like that. This is kind of a weird way to describe it... You know when you urinate and it feels like your muscles are squeezing it out? It feels something like that but in your throat, and it feels really warm and bubbly."

"That is a strange way to describe it!" Kivalna giggled and watched him demonstrate with a ball of flames. "But it's really cool! I wish I could breathe fire..."

He bumped into her and replied, "Hey, you can breathe underwater, which is something I've always wanted to do."

She stumbled a little to the side from his heavier weight shoving her around, and she bumped into him back with extra force so he would falter. "I suppose I can't have both or else that would be way too complicated." She paused and looked up at the clear, sunny sky above them, where warm rays of sunshine beamed down on the orange beachside. A small flock of tropical birds glided above them into the forest, cawing loudly.

"But sometimes I am curious what it would be like to be a winged-drake instead."

He sat down beside her and tilted his head at her. "What do you mean?"

She turned her head to him and said, "It sounds pretty fun! I've always wanted to fly, and I prefer being on the land--I like feeling solid ground beneath my paws. I love being a Masquerlisk and all, but I'd really enjoy being able to fly for a day so I could explore the skies."

"Well, there's not a whole lot up there! Maybe I take my wings for granted, but flying is a lot like swimming, you know? You have the freedom to move around in any direction you please, and it's way easier to float instead of hovering. I've always wanted to be able to swim for hours and explore the deeper parts of the water--see all the cool fish and life that I can't ever see. We each have our advantages and also things we miss out on."

Kivalna nodded thoughtfully and squished the sand between her digits. "I guess you're right... Maybe we should trade bodies!"

Eli grinned and rubbed his snout with hers affectionately. "That would be pretty cool, if it were possible!"

With a nuzzle back, she smiled and let out a sigh. "Yeah, even for just an hour or two. I'm really happy that you've taken me flying, but it's just not quite the same as using your own wings."

Eli tenderly licked her cheek and neck in an effort to cheer her up. "What would you do first if you had my body?"

Kivalna giggled and let him lick her face. "First, I would use my bigger size and pin you down and lick you to death!" His licks teasingly slathered up and down her neck, drawing out a purr from her.

"And then what would you do?" he asked with a coo.

"Hmmm... I guess I'd try to learn to fly! It's probably kind of hard, right?"

He pulled his muzzle away and chuckled. "Whelps learn to fly before they're a year old. You _might_figure it out before then!"

Kivalna slapped his thigh with her tail and laughed. "And what would you do if you were in my body? You'd probably end up drowning before you figured out how to use your gills!"

A wide grin tugged at his lips and exposed some teeth. "Oh, I'd wait to do that. I think I'd rather... _explore_myself first. Spare some time for... curiosity."

Warmth tinted her cheeks as she eyed him. After their night together yesterday, it was easy for her to imagine what he meant and wish to indulge him. Her eyes trailed down the length of his body as he sat with his legs open enough that she caught a glimpse of his exotic malehood, his sheath plump and his orbs snuggly pulled against his body.

"I wouldn't mind doing a little more exploring myself," she said and nuzzled against his shoulder. He stood almost two feet over her, and sitting next to his large body made her feel small.

"If I was in your body, I could find out what this feels like..." While he spoke, Eli leaned over her and rumbled as a forepaw caressed down her smooth back, stopping to squeeze her rump before sliding down her thigh and dipping between her legs.

Kivalna lifted her foreleg out of the way and uncurled her tail from around her paws, opening herself up to his touch as it brushed right against her slit. Leaning into his larger body, she shuddered and let out a soft groan as his digits fondled with her velvety-soft lips and teased her. Curling her toes, she felt heat stirring in her loins and tingling in her lower stomach.

"It... It f-feels good," she muttered, holding back a moan. His thick digits pressed at her lips and slid between them, collecting a glistening sheen of her secretions on them. Arousing sensations distracted her from any retort or reply she had, and only one thought remained on her mind--it made her chest and loins thrum with excitement to think about it.

"Do you want to... mate with me?" she asked.

"I wouldn't mind trying," he said softly and licked her neck as he pulled his paw away. Smiling joyfully at her, he lay down and lounged beside her. Although he usually had a somewhat shy demeanor about him, he still had enough confidence to openly display his body to her and expose his underbelly with his legs spread wide. It showed that he was interested in her and eager to mate too.

"You said you wanted to do some more exploring, right?" he purred.

Kivalna had never imagined becoming so close to a winged-drake before. Sure, she had already played with his soft, male parts between his legs--and had the chance to taste him--but knowing what they were about to do brought excitement to her. To think about and admire his exotic masculinity was much naughtier than she first imagined.

Kivalna reached between his big, muscular thighs and gently caressed his swollen sheath down to his two hefty orbs. Her paw was small enough that she could only cup it around one of his stones at a time. As she squeezed and rubbed them, deep rumbles vibrated his throat while he relaxed. The tiny scales around his nethers were soft to the touch and smooth like her hide.

"So you're _that_interested in my species that you'd mate with me?" she asked. Her tantalizing touch returned to his thick sheath moments later, groping and feeling his flesh as it stirred inside the soft, skin-like casing. It wasn't long before his bulbous, pink tip poked out, glistening from his internal secretions.

"W-Well, I've thought about it before... Especially yesterday," he said and chuckled. "And it's not so much about mating with your species... it's about mating with you. I just really like you, and you seem to like me too."

"I do like you a lot." She smiled widely and gripped his sheath to tug it up and down around his growing flesh. Admittedly, she was captivated by his external bits. It gave her arousing sensation to touch his foreign gender, warmth rising between her legs. "Yesterday was quite fun, too" she cooed.

He nodded and appeared to be blushing under those blue scales. "I think we'll really enjoy this... Even if you are a lot smaller than me."

"I think so, too." She continued to touch him, coaxing out the rest of his length while she watched it grow. It was bigger than what she was used to, but not too big that she couldn't take him. Ridges lined the underside of it, soft nubs that she rubbed with her thumb-digit up to the glans of his cock. His scent spilled into the air around them, which drove her senses wild. It was much earthier than a Masqi, but definitely full of virility.

"You think you'll be okay?" he asked, showing a little concern.

Kivalna smiled reassuringly at him and nodded. His blush only deepened as she squeezed around his flesh and stroked it. He curled his toes and let out a quiet groan.

"Can't wait to get under your tail."

"Oh, is that so?" she cooed and smirked. "Here I thought you'd want me to get under your tail!"

He chuckled and bumped snouts with her as he rubbed down her seamless back and felt the smooth curves of her body. "Maybe if you were a male, but I'm pretty sure you want me buried inside you, Kiva."

She loved it when males were feisty with her. She loved a challenge for dominance and making them work for it. Not only did it get them more riled up, but she enjoyed demonstrating her power too, that she wasn't just a helpless female they could rut as they pleased.

Kivalna rubbed her snout firmly against his and let out a huff. "I'd like to see you try."

But with this big of a male, she wondered how much fight she could put up!

Eli rolled on top of her and pinned her down on her back with a forepaw to her chest. As he moved over her, he rubbed his nose against her exposed neck as if to show her he could bite her if he wanted. Kivalna held back a gasp, but she couldn't stop the shudder than echoed down her spine. She quickly moved a hind paw between his legs and pushed up against his cock, squishing it against his lower belly and between her toes.

"You think I'm that easy, big guy?" she said and rubbed her hind paw against his hard cock and stones. Although she would never admit it aloud, she loved the display of strength of how he pinned her down. He bucked into her paw with his flesh sliding between her toes and let out a quiet moan.

"Mmmm, I figured you'd want to find out what a real drake feels like," he purred and licked down her neck. His tongue brushed right along one of her gills, and that roused a soft gasp from her lips that she meant to hold back. She cursed silently to herself as he continued to lick there, a very sensitive spot for most Masquerlisks. Sometimes the sensations were too intense, but he seemed to find just the right spot to make her squirm under him like a fish.

Before he could make her gasp again, she shoved her forearm into his arm that held her down and swiftly slipped free of him. He wasn't able to grab her fast enough before she darted out of his reach with her superior speed.

With a smug grin, she turned her rump to him and lifted her tail, presenting herself confidently to him. What he saw made his eyes huge, and they were glued under her tail. Kivalna had a soft, vertical slit that split between her pale-blue scales. And right now, it was slightly swollen, exposing a little pink as well as more of her strong, feminine scent.

"If you want it, you'll have to catch me," she said and trotted away.

A toothy grin bared his teeth as he followed behind her. He gave chase, and she lunged away. Each time he reached for her, she was just out of reach, and then she sprinted down the beach, kicking up sand behind her that showered his face.

He persisted and leapt into the air, propelling himself faster than she thought he could go with the help of his large wings. He landed right behind her and tripped her up, but she regained her balance before he could pounce on her.

Giggling, she ran a circle around him and watched his cock bounce freely, hard and ready for him to secure his mount. Admittedly, he was a lot faster than what he appeared to be; she thought he would be lumbering around, but she actually had to try to keep away from him.

But she didn't want to stay away from him forever--she wanted him to catch her. She lost most of her speed and slowed down as she hopped from rock to rock, and when she landed back on the beach, she bent her legs and took extra time to mitigate the fall, which gave him a perfect chance to lunge for her as he used his wings to help launch him forward.

And when he finally caught her, she felt his large paws grab her hips and pull them against him. She tried to pull away to show a little more resistance, but he securely latched onto her thigh, so she ended up falling onto her side with her leg lifted up. In just a moment, he forcefully pulled her leg and turned her onto her back to expose her body to him, and his heavier weight fell over her before she could react or resist.

Kivalna let out a deep, lusty groan as he successfully pinned her down this time, pushing up against her between her legs. Adrenaline pumped through her veins and lustful instincts bloomed in the back of her skull. Giving the bigger male his reward, she opened her legs and submitted to him, and it was only seconds later that she felt his excited prodding against her vent. When he found his mark, he gently thrust inside and stretched her tight walls apart.

"Aaaahh..." Kivalna's sex clenched around his large penetrating member. It was almost too big for her at first, but in spite of their excitement and adrenaline trickling through them, he managed to take it easy on her, easing his shaft deeper and deeper. Her toes curled and her body relaxed, and he managed to fit at least half of his length inside her before he tugged out and tried again.

"Oooh, Eli," she moaned. Her forepaws kneaded at his shoulders as she lay back with the large male on top of her. Rocking into her over and over again, he worked himself into a steady rhythm, inching deeper inside with every thrust. Feeling his thickness spread her apart elicited hot groans and gasps from her lips, and her body shivered with delight.

Most of her species had smooth, tapering cocks; she had never felt a bulbous head or ridges before. They squeezed inside her and tugged right back out, sliding against her sensitive walls. And the rough but smooth feeling of scales was a turn-on for her too. It was a whole new experience to let a winged-drake take her, one that she was thoroughly enjoying!

"Gwwrrrrr, you're so tight..." Eli huffed against her neck and made her face feel hot. She rubbed his arms felt his muscles flexing to deliver his strong thrusts inside her. Kivalna wasn't a stranger to mating, but after so long she had forgotten how ecstatic it felt to be taken and share pleasure with someone else, and someone new.

Now that she had adjusted to his size, he was relentless. He thrust deep inside, jouncing her against the ground, and slipped back out just to pound against her again. Deep, lusty moans filled her throat while he growled and huffed with pleasure. Their bodies melded together as lovers, scales against a soft hide, rocking back and forth against the sand.

Kivalna wished she could watch him take her and see how his cock stretched her slit, but their underbellies rubbed together and blocked her view. All she could do was feel him. Not only that, but through all of the ecstatic, pleasurable sensations trickling throughout her body, she could hardly keep her eyes open. She felt her orgasm approaching rapidly, stirring in her thighs and blooming in her loins, and she had no idea how close he was--he showed no signs of stopping anytime soon.

"Eli, I'm close!" she moaned to him, claws digging into his shoulders. Her hind legs squeezed against his flanks and pushed toward her body as he thrust against her.

His hard length slid deep inside her, his stones patting against her groin. She felt his sheath squish against her nether lips every time he thrust into her, and it made her grunt and gasp as it rubbed against her quivering, velvety-soft walls, sparking and igniting tingling sensations of pleasure that trickled up her thighs to her curling toes.

"Oooh... Oooh!" Kivalna felt so agonizingly close to her climax, nearly teetering over the edge as she enjoyed his cock. It was as if her body was waiting for him to cum inside her before it would release that pressure, but all of a sudden a hot wave of bliss washed over her loins and her sex pulsated and clenched down around his shaft.

"Aaaahhh!" It finally became too much for her; a powerful orgasm flowed through her body like fire, erupting up her spine and making her head dizzy with ecstasy. Hot breaths poured out from her lips between her sultry moans. Seconds felt like minutes, and she loved it all.

Eli mated her through her orgasm, prolonging it with every thrust until, at some point, he slipped all the way inside her and tied their bodies intimately together. With a deep, shuddering moan, he came too, his hard cock thickening, pulsing inside her and spewing thick strands of his virile seed. He panted and gasped for breath next to her ear as their cheeks rubbed together.

"Haahhh... Eli..." Warmth filled her loins with a tingling sensation. His body lay against hers, his weight pressing her into the ground as they unified as one and shared an intimate, tender experience. She wondered if a winged-drake could reproduce with a Masqi--something she didn't consider before. Eli spilled the last of his seed inside her and elicited a satisfied sigh.

Once Kivalna calmed down, she opened her eyes and looked up at Eli, smiling brightly. Hugging around his large body between her legs, she caressed his scaled flanks under his wings and cooed softly; she took the moment to admire him and to relish in the afterglow. His hard length was still buried inside her, stretching her wide to fit his entirety. Both of them panted but slowly caught their breaths.

His eyes met hers and sparked a sensual connection. With a rumble, he pulled out of her and left Kivalna feeling empty with a stretched slit. Licking the tip of her nose, he expressed his affection and moved to cuddle with her. Being smaller than him made it easy for Eli to wrap his arms and wings around her, enveloping her into his warm embrace as he spooned her.

With a soft sigh, Kivalna relaxed and nuzzled into him. They rested in the orange sand of the beach while the water lapped steadily at the shore not far in front of them. Hearing the gentle sway of the ocean and the rustling of the trees in the wind behind them was soothing. Pristine waves of blue water ebbed and flowed in a spellbinding rhythm that lulled Kivalna into dreams of home.

There was a pause in her ever-busy life, a break mentally and physically from her world. Time seemed to be just an illusion, passing by slowly without any regard. Only in rare moments did Kivalna feel so perfect, like the stars aligned to bring her a moment of peace. In this moment she was in Elasea, safe and protected with nothing to neither fear nor worry.

"It's beautiful, Eli," she said quietly. Though she gazed out over the water, her thoughts were of Elasea, the Masquerlisk haven. "The water is so pristine and clear, yet it still shows a vibrant blue color. Fish swim around in all sorts of shapes, sizes, and colors; there is a special type of fish that forms schools that look like rainbows when they pass by. All of the Masquerlisks appear to be happy and full of life because it's the best place for us to live. We're safe, happy, and free."

A deep rumbling filled his chest as he relaxed with her, his tail twining with hers. "You mean Elasea?" He looked out over the water and over the distant, empty horizon. For as far as the eye could see, there was nothing but water.

"Yes, Elasea," she answered and smiled kindly at him. "The houses we live in are elegantly carved--each one unique like a piece of artwork. They blend naturally with environment; from a distance, they look like a forest. Sometimes we paint them different colors. Even the rocks that safely surround us have carvings that we etch into the stone and paintings that bring life to the stone."

"That sounds amazing, Kivalna... I wish I could see it for myself."

"I... I wish I could show you it--I really do."

He rested his larger head on top of hers and squeezed her. "Me too, Kiva. So there's no chance at all?"

"I'm sorry... You have to understand that Elasea means so much to us. When it comes to everything dragon, Masquerlisks are the dull side of the claw. We don't have wings to fly, scales to protect us, and no fire to breathe; we are easy targets for anyone that wants to harm us. Having a secret place all to our own means never going to bed afraid at night. And in order to hold onto that sense of safety, it means never ever allowing outsiders in... No matter how much we like them." She finished with a soft smile and held his large forepaw, interlocking their digits together to show him affection.

Eli smiled back at her and nuzzled her gently as he squeezed her paw with his. "I understand, Kiva. When I was younger and alone, I knew what it was like to fear for my life every day and night... I'm happy that you have a home where you can feel safe. I won't ask or pester you or any Masqi about it again out of respect for you--I promise."

Kivalna's heart swelled with joy. "Thank you, Eli."

He purred and snuggled her like a soft toy. "You're welcome, cutie."

Kivalna wriggled against him and smiled. "You think I'm cute?"

"The way you were moaning was pretty cute!" he teased and squeezed around her tightly, giggling.

"I swear, you always find a way to ruin the mood!" She squirmed against his body and tried to escape him, but he clung to her with his superior strength and kept her tucked right against his underbelly, no matter how much she nipped at pawed at him.

Finally, he released her and she bolted to her paws and turned to face him. "I'll show you who's cute!"

With a swift pounce, she tackled Eli and playfully wrestled with him in the sand. He chuckled and nibbled at her neck as she pinned him under her smaller weight, letting her crawl over top of him. It was quite obvious who would actually win in a wrestling match, but Eli was nice enough to give Kivalna a chance and make her feel like she was winning.

Kivalna didn't mind that! She loved play-fighting with her friends, especially the males because they gave her a challenge. The only difference between her friends and Eli was his size!

He rolled over top of her with a deep rumbling and squished her back into the sand. Kivalna complained with quiet hisses and disapproving grumbles while she fought him back and pushed her paws into his scales to try and throw him over onto his side.

Relenting, Eli giggled and fell over. As he lay on his flank, he pawed at her and kept her at bay for a moment before giving her the opportunity to pounce on him again, but by then they were both panting hard and tired.

Eli lay back and relaxed as Kivalna rested her head on his chest, grinning as she caught her breath. "I win," she cooed.

"That was extra cute," he said and smiled at her. A large paw stroked up and down her smooth back and neck, calming the bouncy Masquerlisk down.

Kivalna giggled and lazed over top of him like a dead fish--she enjoyed those soft pets and nuzzled into his chest. She didn't think much of it at first, but after a minute of lying with him, she realized that his soft male parts were squishing against her groin. With a soft coo, she rolled her hips slowly and enjoyed the feeling of his gender rubbing against hers; and it seemed that he did too, because his sheath was already thick and swollen.

His paws squeezed around her and tucked her comfortably against his underbelly as he purred. "Mmmmm, so I wasn't too rough for you? I was worried I would hurt you." Nuzzling into her neck, he sensually licked her soft, blue hide right before it turned pale.

"Not at all. I'm not some weakling that I can't take a big drake like you," she purred. She kneaded at his broad chest and enjoyed him with happy trills. The tip of his length slipped between her wet folds as she grinded their hips together, drawing a shudder up and down her spine.

"Rwwrrffff, good... Then that means we can do it again?" he asked and ever so gently flicked his tongue across her gills, sending a violent shiver up her spine.

"Oooh... You're ready for another round?" Kivalna clenched her toes as he teased the sensitive parts of her neck.

"I am if you are," he said and caressed her smooth body with his large paws, pushing his hips into hers so she felt his growing cock slide between her nether lips.

Kivalna couldn't deny that she wanted more. Warmth bubbled in her loins again just at the thought of mating with Eli, and she felt her desire for him growing. "I wouldn't mind that at all..." She leaned in and licked his cheek affectionately and let his length rub against her slit.

Then after another round, how about we go exploring some more?" In spite of their romping around, the island paid them no heed. The world continued on peacefully around them, undisturbed. They were alone with no one to pester them, free to do as they pleased and anywhere they wanted.

He smiled warmly and nodded. "I would love to, Kivalna."

"Then it's settled!" Kivalna licked his nose and then sat up on her haunches, exposing her pale underside to him. While she sat on him, she gyrated her hips and squished his hard cock against his white underbelly with her vent.

Eli chuckled as she straddled his lap, watching her ride him. "You're a feisty one," he said and held onto her hips.

"You're just now realizing that?"

He shook his head with a big grin and watched her move against him. Grabbing his cock, she held it up and impaled herself on it. Kivalna took him right then and there without a care in the world. Now that they were comfortable with each other, they each could express their lustful desires for one another--and it felt ecstatic. No one else was around to disturb them; they had the whole island to themselves.

Kivalna rode him into their next climactic release, sending the both of them to the pinnacle of pleasure together.

And just as promised, Eli wandered around the island with her. Kivalna was glad for the company, especially that of a good friend. It wasn't often that she found someone like Eli to share her journey with, and she was sincerely delighted to have crossed paths with him on this beautiful gem in the sea--a Paradise Island.

"What do you want to do tomorrow?" Eli asked.

Kivalna smirked and bumped playfully into him. "The same stuff! If you're up for it, big guy?"

With an eager nod, he bumped snouts with her. "Sounds like fun to me!"
