This one is for us Rion.
Jason and Jacob begin their rutting in full view of both me and Rion; Jacob is leaning against the cave wall whilst Jason is thrusting into his mate's tail hole. Both males look completely lost in their pleasure, the grunts and moans from both are akin to those that Rion and I had been doing just moments before.
I feel Rion's knot begin to deflate as his climax begins to fade, with a wet slurp and a little rush of semen Rion pulls out from my tail hole and speaks.
"You see Wolfie, though many believe that sex between two males is a sin, it is in actual fact quite natural, take Jason and Jacob for instance, they are two no nonsense wolves, if either one of them is angered they will kill, and yet, here and now they are showing that they can be oh so gentle, I mean look at Jason, he is the alpha male within the Anderson pack whilst Jacob is his second in command, technically Jason is lowering himself to breed with Jacob. In the rules of pack society Jason is their top dog, in the rules of love, there are no ranks"
I weakly stand on my four paws and slowly approach Jacob and Jason; both males see me and let out a predatory growl which forces me to recoil a little. I am now fully engrossed in the fact that they are both able to mate whilst standing on their hind legs; I walk to the nearest wall and begin to climb my forepaws up it. Using the wall for support I begin to stand on my own hind legs, slowly I start to let go of the wall.
Suddenly the realisation hits me, I'm standing as Jacob and Jason are doing, my legs begin to wobble slightly but I counter it. Then I start getting a little more adventurous and start taking small steps. I start to use bigger steps and head towards Rion who is sat on his haunches with a look of amazement on his face. It's then that it happens, I get a little too cocky and fall flat on my muzzle, the last thing I see before the blackness takes hold is Rion quickly jumping to his four paws and heading towards me.

I awake and notice that my head is raised off the floor of the cave and is resting on something furry, I try to raise my head further but a quick paw holds my head in place. I hear voices but in my still dazed state I cannot distinguish who it is that is doing the talking. Suddenly my senses begin to clear, my eyesight returns and my hearing gets sharper, I now know that it is Rion talking.
"You know Wolfie, I love ya dearly, you are a strong willed young wolf, you have proved that you can tackle most medical emergencies, you have also proved that you can look after yourself, but trying to stand as an anthro takes time and practice, your hind legs will need to get stronger to help support your body, and your mind will have to start thinking as a human. I'm sure that both Jason and Jacob have had their fair share of falls, but as for you, well you stood on your hind legs, released the wall before you were ready, you then started walking, in other words you got cocky, and now you are minus a few of your teeth and quite a bit of blood"
I turn my head slightly in embarrassment and burry my muzzle into Rion's lap, I feel two more paws fall upon my back and Jason pitches in with his comment.
"Rion is right Wolfie, being able to take anthro form takes a lot of patience and training, both me and Jacob have had various teeth either chipped or knocked out through trying to stand. It will come to you eventually, hell me and Jacob will even help you achieve it, but there is an old human saying that I have heard, you need to walk before you can run, you need to learn to stand and get a strong balance first, then slowly begin to take your first steps. Oh and by the way, the growl you heard from both me and Jacob when you approached was a warning, you see when Jacob and I are rutting, we feel absolutely brilliant, but if we see another walking towards us, we see that as a potential threat to our mate, trust me, if you had not heeded the growl and backed off, there would have been a fight. I mean you saw how me and Jacob gave you and Rion a wide birth when we came in whilst you were tied, we knew that you both would have seen us as a threat and you would have acted accordingly, you wouldn't have been able to control it, it's your primeval urge to protect your mate at all costs"
Rion now removes his paw from my head and allows me to sit up on my haunches, Jacob and Jason are both back on all fours and nuzzling each other, it is then that we hear a blood curdling howl, it is the sound of Jason's pack in trouble. The four of us leave the cave and head towards the Anderson pack at speed.
We arrive at the den to find a huge tree limb has fallen from the canopy and has landed directly on top of the den crushing the roof instantly. Jason and Jacob go wild as they begin to dig through the devastation, Rion and I join in with the rescue. We manage to find Lana, she is covered with bleeding cuts but she is alive, as are the majority of the rest of the pack. We now hear the mournful howl of a female wolf, she is standing close to the back of the den, the roof has caved in even more and underneath the fallen roof, I see two pups, one male and one female. I stand there in shock at the scene, suddenly I see the male move slightly, I rush in and wedge my back against the still collapsing roof, I ask the adult female the name of the male cub, and she informs me that his name is Starlight. I look down at the cub and speak in urgent but calming tones.
"Starlight, if you can hear me, don't move, I'm here to help you"
Rion, Jacob and Jason all begin to work as one to rescue the cub, they gently pull him free from the rubble and then return for the female cub, again they gently pull her from the rubble but it is too late for her, she does not breathe and does not move. With both pups now clear and no one else inside, I pull out from the rubble.
The entire Anderson pack now encircle the adult female who is with her two pups, the pack collectively lean their heads back and howl to the sky. I walk to the pack and slowly break through the circle, the female is holding her female cub and crying into her fur, I gently place my paws underneath the female cub's body and gently lift her into my arms, Jason stands next to me in his anthro form and holds out his arms. I gently place the female cub's body into the strong arms of her alpha and without words he carries her off deep into the forest. Jacob now comes to me and speaks softly.
"Wolfie, don't feel bad, you tried your best to rescue them, as it is you helped to save Starlight's life, you are still a hero to this pack, if you hadn't gone in and supported what was left of the roof, Stella would have lost both pups"

It has now been many hours since the freak accident, I'm sat on my haunches looking out in the direction that Jason had gone with the dead cub, suddenly I see him slowly walking back towards us and I run up to his side with my head hung low.
"Jason, I'm sorry that I couldn't save the female cub, and I'm sorry about your packs den being destroyed. I know that it's not much comfort to you now, but my offer to you and your pack still stands, you can all make a den within my cave system, there are caves joined onto mine that I haven't even explored yet"
Jason stops dead in his tracks and places a gentle paw on my shoulder and then replies.
"Wolfie, what happened was in no way anything to do with you, you didn't ask that tree limb to fall, and you didn't ask Tellsa to get crushed under the roof, what you did do was help get everyone else out alive, hell you even helped save young Starlight by using your back as a brace, and now you offer us a den, an offer which we will take you up on, you have done more in my mind to prove my parents wrong, you are a true and noble wolf"
We head back to where the Anderson pack are gathered, all still in shock at what has happened, Jason stands at the head of the group and speaks out.
"This pack has suffered a great tragedy here today, we have lost our den and poor Stella has lost one of her pups, I know that this will be little comfort but our once rival has offered us a place to stay, a safe and dry place, I have thought about my pack and have made the decision to take Wolfie up on his generous offer. The distance may be too great for young Starlight to walk whilst still injured, so I offer my back for him to ride on. This pack will survive and who knows, with Wolfie and Rion's help may even flourish, the name of The Anderson pack, will resonate around this forest for many summers to come"
After his rallying call I begin to lead the way back to our caves, as I walk I am joined side byu side by Stella, with tears still in her eyes she speaks to me.
"Alpha Steel, for many summers I have despised you, I have wished you nothing but harm or even death. You probably are aware of that, but today you ignored that, you were able to look passed any bad feeling between our packs, instead of letting us all perish you came and helped us. I do not blame you in any way for the death of my daughter, after all you did manage to help save my son, and I couldn't be more thankful. I let tears fall for my daughter Tellsa, but then feel happiness for my son Starlight, I know with you having Rion as a mate you will never have offspring of your own, but I would like you to consider Starlight as your own, he will need a role model to look up too as he gets older, and aside from Jason and Jacob, I can think of no better role models than you and Rion"
A sudden wave of pride sweeps through my body, it is true, I have known that Stella has indeed hated me for many seasons, but now it seems that all that hatred has melted away.

We arrive at the cave system and I show the Anderson pack the way into the other caves. We enter one of the as yet unexplored caves and the Anderson pack immediately begins to set up their new den. Rion and I decide to leave them to their work and we head back to our own cave. It has been a tiring and emotional day for everyone involved, and so both me and Rion curl up together on the floor of our cave and fall into a deep sleep.
