"And if you will step this way I will show you the pride and joy of our R and D department," said an immaculately dressed tour guide. The group she was addressing were a mixed bunch. This was the first time that the Technodyne Corporation had opened the doors of their newest project to the general public. Over the years many companies had promised new inventions that would change the world, but there were only a small number that had actually been able to do so in a way that was very noticeable to the public. What Technodyne had in the works was definitely going to be noticeable.

When the tour guide showed the group the project she saw the mixed reactions that she expected. Some people were amazed by just looking at the high tech, living room sized, device in the middle of a laboratory about the size of a football field. There were other people that looked like they were faking being amazed to make sure they did not look stupid for not knowing what the device was. And then there were those that looked puzzled at what they were seeing. The tour guide could not blame anyone for being impressed just by the sight of the device. It looked like something off the stage of a science fiction movie set. One part of the device was connected to the floor and the other was connected to the ceiling. It was cylindrical in shape and both the center part of the device on the floor and the ceiling seemed to be made out of something like glass. The part on the floor had an instrument panel rising up to a little above waist height that extended about halfway around the rest of the device. Since that panel, with all its blinking flashing lights, was facing the crowd it helped to make the device look even more impressive.

It took a while for someone to finally admit he did not know what he was looking at and ask, "Um, just what is that thing?"

"Thank you for asking sir. It is actually an experimental teleportation device, one of many that Technodyne is currently constructing all over the planet," explained the tour guide.

"You're joking. That thing is an actual working teleporter," asked one member of the group.

"That depends on how you interpret the word working," said the tour guide. "Between the other, uh, functional teleporters we don't have any problems. But, when we try to teleport something from one teleporter to some random location we do get some problems."

"Like what sort of problems? You aren't getting any part bug people are you? Or do things just blow up?" asked another group member.

The tour guide laughed lightly before saying, "Oh no, nothing like that. We have not even started experimenting with living things yet. We actually have not tested these teleporters out on anything larger than a coin yet. The problem we are getting is that the things end up..." Before the tour guide could finish her explanation there was a loud siren. "Ah, looks like we're about to get to a live demonstration."

She was right about that as a technician walked up to the teleporter and dropped a small metal disc in the center of it. After pressing a few buttons the teleporter activated and glowed blue for a moment. The disc disappeared and then a smaller blue flash showed right next to the teleporter. They had only teleported the metal disc a couple of feet away from the teleporter and someone was already coming to pick it up. Even though the distance the coin had moved had not been very impressive, it process by which it had moved had been very impressive and the fact that no one could see anything wrong with the disc was also very promising.

"Well then, if you will just come with me we will conclude the tour," said the tour guide. They all walked off while listening to the tour guide explain how simple the teleporter was to operate. Everyone had forgotten about asking her what problems the teleporter was having. They also failed to notice the technicians measuring the coin and shaking their heads in disappointment.

As they were all gathering in the lobby of the Technodyne facility and picking up little gift bags one couple slipped off into a corner by themselves. They seemed to be particularly happy about something. The female was a curvaceous chestnut horse and the male was a slightly tall and athletic looking grey wolf. "I saw you managed to get it," said the horse.

"Sure did baby," said the wolf as he presented the tour guide's security card to her. "I can't believe how weak the security in this place is. It should be easy sneaking in after a few days."

"Days? Won't they notice her card has gone missing by then?" asked the horse.

"If this were a place that believed in security they might, but I found three of these things on her. I'll bet she's one of those people that lose these things all the time," the wolf explained. "They probably gave her multiple cards in case she forgets where she left one so they don't have to keep making replacements for her."

"Then we are finally going to get to travel to all those places that we always wanted to," said the horse with a smile. As the two were talking to each other they did not notice other people in the group listening in on them. However, it was not the honest upstanding people that would have turned them in that were paying attention. It was the people that thought playing around with a teleporter sounded like a fun idea, especially since nothing seemed to happen to that metal disc. Besides, everyone figured that Technodyne would not have shown the teleporter to the public if it were not safe for use. It would have been embarrassing for them to show it now and have a major problem occur later. They convinced themselves that the teleporter they had seen had to be something like a beta version that was very close to being completed.

That was why the wolf and the horse found a fairly large group waiting for them at the Technodyne facility after sneaking past one elderly sleeping guard on the weekend they chose to sneak in. The couple did not even think about rejecting any of those people. It would only take one upset person to wake up the guard and get them all in a great deal of trouble. So, the wolf and the horse helped everyone sneak past the rest of the laughably bad security that they had taken the time to carefully observe on the tour. With the tour guide's security card it was really no problem at all. Operating the teleporter was also very simple. Most of the screens on the teleporter's operating panel were just there for the technicians to observe various functions of the device. They only needed one part of the panel to operate the teleporter and that was just a simple matter of clicking on an image of where on the planet you wanted to teleport and then pushing a big green button that was labeled "TELEPORT." They even had a box full of wristbands that could be used to have the teleporter bring them back from their destination when they were tired, so they could go to any isolated place they wanted to if they pleased without having to worry about how to get back. Everyone planned on having a very fun time.

The wolf and the horse could have gone first if they wanted to. Everyone else was willing to at least give to them for getting them in there. That was not what they wanted, though. They preferred to go last. If anything went wrong they wanted to see if it happened to anyone else first. Fortunately for them, no one else had really thought anything could go wrong and were more than willing to volunteer to go first. There were a couple of people going on a free trip to the beach, a college guy going on a panty raid, another guy was planning on surprising his date at a restaurant, another group was trying to visit some big city, others were trying to attend a pool party in their home town that they would have missed while they were stuck in this city on job assignment, while the horse and the wolf just wanted to have a picnic in a romantic location.

The pair of friends going to the beach, a lion and human, were the first to go. It only took a few seconds to select their favorite beach location and teleport there. No one there really thought much about being the first group of people to ever use a teleporter. They were just excited about what the device could do for them and none of them thought about what the consequences could be since the tour guide said they did not have to worry about getting blown up or turning into hybrid bug people.

When the teleporter was activated the lion and the human really did not know what to expect from the experience. They really had not paid much attention to how the device worked when the tour guide was explaining it. All they cared about was that it moved things from point A to point B in a matter of seconds. If they had been paying more attention they might have been at least a little afraid of having their bodies disassembled into a few million particles that would have to be perfectly reassembled in another location. Just the process of being teleported was quite an experience for the lion and the human. The moment the teleporter was activated the world around them was tinted blue for a moment before everything went dark. For the next few moments it was like their minds did and did not exist at the same time. They perceived things in a way much different than they ever had before, a way that would have been difficult to describe afterwards even if their minds were working properly. But, they soon reached their destination where the world was briefly tinted blue once more before everything returned to normal.

"Wow, that was pretty trippy John," the lion said to the human.

"You're right about that one Richard. I know a few guys that might get a little addicted to something like that," responded the human as he looked around.

The lion was looking around too. Both of them looked a little confused at what they were seeing. "Did we end up in the right place?" asked Richard. They had planned on going to the beach and there was a lot of sand around them, but the problem was that there was way too much sand. Richard thought he could hear something like waves in the distance, but the sandy part of the beach should not have extended as far out as it would have to in order for the ocean to be that far away. "Do you think the problem with the teleporter was that it sometimes doesn't get the location right?"

"I don't know," John said as he climbed a nearby sand dune. "Maybe we should just teleport back and tell everyone that the thing doesn't wo-." John stopped mid-word and Richard could see how stunned he looked even from the bottom of the sand dune. "Uh, Richard, I think I discovered what the problem with the teleporter really is." The lion scrambled up the dune to see what his friend was so stunned by. Once he was on top of the dune it really was obvious what was wrong with the teleporter. Even though the tour guide had said they would not be turned into hybrid bug people they had still been turned into bug sized people, and not particularly large bugs at that.

From on top of the dune the two friends could see that they were definitely at their intended location. There were other beach goers, a vast ocean, and plenty of merriment being had all around. Normally, that would have been a beautiful site for John and Richard, especially since this was a nudist beach, but when everyone else at the beach was large enough to crush you like an ant things looked much more terrifying.

John was already showing signs of panicking. "We, we, we have to get out of here. Let's teleport back before something steps on us. Maybe that will return us to normal or something."

"And maybe it will make things worse," Richard said, but the warning had come too late. John was already using the return function on the wristband he was wearing. That was when they discovered yet another problem. Nothing happened when John tried to activate the wristband. After noticing that, Richard tried using his as well to much the same result. For better or worse, they were stuck at the beach at their current size. "What are we supposed to do now?"

"I don't know," responded Richard. "Don't they normally have some sort of wacky adventure while trying to get help from the normal sized people in the movies."

"Yeah, that's what we need to do, find someone to help us, preferably someone laying down with their ears nice and close to the ground," John said.

"That would definitely be preferable," agreed Richard. It did not take two seconds after that comment for a giant shadow to cast itself over the frightened friends. They both let out a yelp as they looked up at the source of that shadow to find a titanic looking otter standing above them.

"This looks like as good a spot as any," the otter said to a group of friends. Things were going from bad to worse for John and Richard as they soon found themselves in the midst of a beach party. It was not a large party by normal standards, but when you are the size of a bug any party can seem pretty huge. Fortunately for the two the otter placed a small cooler full of snacks down in the sand near to them. By sticking close to the cooler John and Richard were able to avoid getting trampled during all the party activities. Unfortunately, the cooler was right in the center of the party and there were just enough giants around to make it virtually impossible to make their way out of the party.

Every time one of the seemingly giant partygoers grabbed something out of the cooler they would scream for help, but those partygoers had also brought a radio along with them. Their tiny voices were easily drowned out by the music that was playing. It was frustrating, but at least they appeared to be safe for the moment. Unfortunately, things change, and not always for the better. One of the partiers, the otter they had first seen, was reaching into the cooler to get himself a sandwich like all the others had done so many times before. The problem was that this time he accidentally dropped the sandwich when a stray Frisbee hit him in the back of the head. For the normal people on the party it was a little funny, but for John and Richard it was a terrifying experience.

The sandwich came crashing down on them with startling speed. John and Richard had never pictured themselves as being afraid of having a sandwich fall on them. Well, they might have been afraid of getting their shirts stained, but they had certainly never been afraid that the sandwich would kill them. Despite the fact that both John and Richard were running faster than they ever had in their lives they could not dodge the huge sandwich. John was pressed into the sand by a huge loaf of bread. Between the weight of the sandwich and the sand, John wound up getting pressed deeply into the loaf of bread. He found himself as nothing more than a living topping in the otter's future meal. Richard was not in a very good situation either. The lion had made it just to the edge of the sandwich when it came crashing down on him. His legs were trapped under the loaf of bread, but he was making a little bit of progress pulling himself out from under it. However, before he could make it that far he saw the huge clawed finger of the otter reaching down to pick up the sandwich and him along with it.

The otter took a moment to brush the sand off the sandwich, just narrowly missing brushing John and Richard off. Both of them knew they were about to end up as a meal of the otter, but they had not been looking forward to getting brushed off the loaf of bread. Since the otter was standing up to his full height it was a long way back to ground. Even when the otter sat back down to enjoy his meal it still looked like a long way back to the ground for John and Richard. Then again, they thought it might have been better to risk the fall as the otter started to devour his meal. Bite by bite disappeared down the otter's throat and John tried to free himself as those bites made their way closer to him. Richard was still trapped between a finger and the loaf of bread as he watched one bite completely engulf his friend.

John found that the bread quickly dissolved around him in the warm saliva within the otter's maw. The scent of the sandwich lingered within the humid domain as well. For the first time John was able to get a little hint of what type of sandwich he had been made a part of. There was the slight hint of lettuce and tomatoes, some sort of deli meat like ham or perhaps chicken, and John also thought he could smell a little mustard too, but he was uncertain about that last one. He wondered why he even bothered trying to figure it out as the otter's jaw went into motion. It was a wild ride for the little human as the otter's tongue kept trying to push him towards massive pointed teeth. For John it seemed like a good thing that he was too small for the tongue to recognize as a piece of meat large enough to need chewing up. While everything else around him was turned into mush he was lucky enough to avoid the otter's teeth. What he was not able to avoid was the otter's swallowing motion. John was caught off guard by how powerful that swallowing motion was. One second the otter had stopped chewing, and the next John found himself sliding down the slimy throat of the otter on the way to his final resting place.

Richard could not really tell if John had been in that little lump that slid down the otter's furry throat. He hoped his friend had somehow managed to avoid letting himself get swallowed along with the sandwich, but he doubted that very much. It was time to worry about his own fate now, though. There was not much of the sandwich left. Then Richard's luck seemed to change just a little as the otter shifted his grip on the sandwich just enough to free the lion. Richard did shout, but it really was not a shout of joy as he found himself plummeting toward the ground.

He hit the sand hard, but besides getting a little bruised and disoriented he was otherwise unharmed. If he was not so disoriented he might have been surprised by that. There might have been something else he would have noticed if he were not so disoriented as well. Richard had landed on top of what would have seemed like a sand dune to him. Resting on top of the side of that sand dune was something the lion would have tried to avoid. As the tiny lion stumbled about he had the great misfortune of slipping down the dune and directly toward that certain something. Richard recovered from his disorientation just in time to find that he was sliding uncontrollably toward the otter's seemingly massive cock. Richard tried to change his course, but only ended up making sure he headed directly for the gapping cock slit of the mammoth member.

As Richard entered the huge member he tried to grab onto the edges of the entrance while he could. He did manage to get a slight grip, but he could feel himself being somehow pulled into the cock. It was like the giant cock wanted to drag him into it. Richard held out hope that the otter would notice his tiny struggles, but he seemed completely unawares as his cock tried to devour the little lion. Little by little, Richard lost his grip on the rim of the cock slit. Then the cock's insistent tugging finally won out over the lion's struggles and Richard found himself being dragged into its dark depths.

For Richard the journey was an alarming thing, but a small part of him was a little curious about where he would end up. If he had been swallowed along with his friend he would have known he was headed for an acid bath, but he had no idea where a person went after being swallowed by a cock. That little bit of curiosity was not enough to make the lion stop struggling though. In the end that probably ended up working against him. The otter was feeling a little stimulated in his loins for a reason that he could not explain. It would have been hard to hide that fact if he wanted to, but on this beach things were a little relaxed. There were actually at least three couples within the otter's eyesight that were already getting very intimate with one another. The otter's girlfriend happened to notice that the otter was feeling a little aroused and decided to add one more couple making out on the beach.

Richard had just been deposited in a large and slightly musky chamber when the otter's nimble fingered girlfriend decided to go to work on her boyfriend. The lion was not an idiot and he had a good guess about where he was. He could feel a little activity going on outside the otter and by the way the chamber he was in was getting muskier by the second. Richard could also feel the chamber quickly filling up with a thick liquid. If he had any doubts that he had somehow ended up within one of the otter's balls those doubts had just vanished.

As the otter thoroughly enjoyed the hand job he was getting Richard was in panic mode. Despite how sizeable the chamber appeared to be to the lion it was filling up extremely rapidly. Richard knew there had to be an exit, but he was having difficulty finding it in the dark environment. He was going to have to find it soon, though, or else he thought he was going to drown. His best efforts continued to work against him as the extra internal stimulus only helped to make this the most enjoyable hand job the otter had ever received. The chamber filled up well before Richard could find an exit. It was much harder moving through the thick creamy liquid than the lion had thought it would be, but he continued to try and look for an exit.

In the end it was not Richard's efforts that let him find an escape. The hand job the otter was receiving came to its inevitable conclusion. When the otter climaxed he was forcefully ejected from the otter's balls along with the rest of the cum that was filling them. Richard found himself inside of a large stream of otter seed as he was launched out of the otter's cock like some sort of rocket. He went twirling through the air and was only able to get a brief glimpse of the outside world. Most of the cum that had just shot out of the otter landed harmlessly in the sand, but the drop that Richard happened to be in flew all the way into the cooler that he had been hiding next to earlier. Richard was lucky enough to land in a nice soft sandwich instead of against the hard plastic walls of the cooler itself.

The soft landing only helped the landing for but so long. He was stuck to the sandwich he had landed on. The otter seed that coated his body was acting like a pretty powerful adherent. Richard just had to hope he would be able to free himself before one of the people at the party decided to snack on the sandwich he had just become an ingredient in. In the end Richard was only given the time it took for the otter to mount his girlfriend a couple of times. After that the otter felt like snaking again and coincidentally grabbed the same sandwich the cum drenched lion was stuck in.

Once again Richard found himself facing the otter's maw in a situation that he could not extract himself from. The difference was that this time Richard found himself in the first bite that the otter took out of his meal. Richard went through a ride much like the one that his friend John went through earlier. The saliva on the otter's tongue did help to clean the lion off, which made it easier for him to avoid getting torn apart by the otter's very sharp teeth. But, like John before him, that did not help to keep him from getting swallowed. Richard found himself in a tight lump of food as the muscles within the otter's throat eased him down toward a nice little acid bath. The entire process did not take that long, but it seemed like an eternity to the lion as he struggled to get out of the lump of food and find some sort of purchase he could grab onto to avoid being dragged further down. He was never able to do that.

Instead, Richard was dragged down to the otter's belly where his friend John had already been for quite some time. Richard did try to call out for his friend to see if he was alright, but the otter's digestive system had already had more than enough time to process the tiny human. The lion wanted to avoid that fate for as long as he could. Then he found out that was not going to be much time at all. Being a part of the first bite came with some serious disadvantages. As the otter continued to eat, more and more food kept dropping into the otter's stomach. Richard was not able to see well enough in the dark environment to dodge those lumps of food for long and at his size it only took one lump to bury him. Each lump added more weight on top of the lion, making it all the more difficult for the lion to escape. When the otter's belly started to flood with digestive juices there really was nothing the lion could do to help himself. He was just lucky enough that he was so small it did not take the otter's digestive system any time at all to handle him.

John and Richard were not the only ones having difficulty with the teleporter. Soon after they had left a fox named Vince teleported himself into a sorority on his college campus. He was supposed to be going on a panty raid for entry into a fraternity and he had been wondering how he would go about doing it. The teleporter seemed like a pretty good idea, or at least it had until Vince reached his destination. Vince had gone through the same perception altering experience that the lion and the human had gone through, but his senses did not returned to normal after reaching the sorority. If anything his perceptions had changed even more.

It was hard wrapping his mind around what was happening. His body did not feel right and for some reason he did not feel like he could move. He could also feel himself surrounded by something on top of and bellow him. Vince could also feel something moist, kind of like a thick sauce on top of him, but his fur did not feel wet. In fact, he was starting to realize that he could not feel his fur at all. It might have helped if he could see, but even that was beyond his ability at the moment.

The fox started to panic. He thought something must have gone wrong with the teleporter and he was right about that. The fox just did not think things had gone nearly as wrong as they really had. It took his senses a while to adjust to his new set of perceptions, but eventually he was able to somewhat see again. What he saw did not prevent him from panicking even more than he already was, even after the few minutes it took for him to accept what he was seeing.

Not only did Vince have to deal with seeing the world from a much smaller perspective as John and Richard had done, he did not even appear to be his normal self. He was larger than the other two had been, but that did not do him much good. Vince was freaking out at the fact that he did not seem to have his normal body. Despite the tour guide's warning that he would not merge with a fly he did seem to have merged with something, something that made a fly look preferable by comparison. At least a fly could move. What Vince seemed to have merged with was a chicken sandwich sitting on someone's plate.

It seemed unfair to Vince that this had happened since the tour guide had said it would not, but then he remembered that she had mentioned the teleporter had not been tested on living things yet. Vince had just stumbled across a problem with the teleporter that its creators did not know about yet. This was going to be a real problem for them to figure out, but it did not look like something that Vince was going to get to worry about for long. The person who had made the sandwich was coming for her meal.

Vince recognized the red haired human female approaching him with a hungry look in her eye as one of the sorority girls from around campus. At least he had ended up in the right place even if that was not a very comforting thought. The fox that had somehow managed to merge with chicken meat in a sandwich tried to call out to the woman to keep her from eating him, but he found he had no voice to call out with. He tried to reach out for the wristband that would return him back the Technodyne facility, but he had no arms to move and he could not even tell if he still had the wristband with him.

As the woman reached down to pick him up Vince found that he was actually a little more frustrated than scared at not being able to move. But, fear became his dominant emotion once more as the woman grabbed the sandwich that he had become. He could feel her fingers holding him firmly through the bread as he was swiftly moved toward her mouth. Vince noted that he was at least going to get eaten by the woman that was widely considered the second hottest sorority girl on campus. He hoped that counted for something as she proceeded to take a little bite out of him.

Vince had been expecting to be in incredible pain once the woman took a bite out of him and he had been able to feel it. But, there really had not been any pain at all involved in the experience. His mind just sort of noticed that a piece of him was no longer there anymore. The woman was the type of person that liked to take small bites too, so it was a sensation that Vince would have some time to get used to. Piece by piece of Vince disappeared into the woman's mouth, but there was never any pain involved in the experience. After a while Vince did have to wonder what part of the chicken contained his consciousness. He also wondered how it was that he could see when he did not think he had eyes anymore.

Even though he was never able to discover how he could see he was at least able to find out where his mind was in the chicken meat. He had thought it might be close to the center, but it was actually closer to the back and to the left of the sandwich based on how the sorority girl was holding it. Even getting chewed up proved to be a more interesting than painful experience. The woman was a thorough chewer and each second reduced Vince into smaller pieces. Vince felt his mind becoming more diffuse as that happened and was surprised that he even had a mind as all of the pieces of meat that contained his mind were reduced to mush. One little swallow then moved him on the next inevitable stage of his journey after being adequately chewed up.

Vince eventually landed in a pile of stuff that used to be his own body within the woman's body. Digestive juices rushed in and started breaking that pile down into vital nutrients. This time Vince did notice something happening to his mind as the pile started to disappear. He still would not have described the sensation as pain. It was more like his mind was just fading away as the parts of the mush that contained his mind were dissolved. The former fox turned chicken sandwich was obviously not happy about what was happening to him, but he thought it could have definitely been worse. He felt a little fortunate that he could not feel the pain of being digested. The way his mind was fading away was actually a rather peaceful process that made it easier for him to come to terms with what was happening to him. It was so peaceful that Vince had somehow managed to fall asleep by the time the woman had finished digesting him.

The shrinking adventures would continue that day as a black furred cat named Sander stepped into the teleporter next. On the coast that the Technodyne facility was on it was only the early afternoon, but on the coast he was from it was dinner time. He also knew that his girlfriend always ate dinner once a month on this day of the week every month at a certain restaurant she really enjoyed. It would be easy enough to find her in that restaurant since she always ate at the same outdoor table when the weather permitted, like it did on this day. Sander thought she was going to be very surprised when he showed up right next to her to join her for a meal.

After Sander was teleported their certainly was someone that was surprised, it just was not his girlfriend. Sander had tried to teleport right next to his girlfriend, but he ended up right in front of her. That would have been a problem no matter what happened since that would have placed Sander on top of the table. Considering that the teleporter had just transported him a few thousand miles away that still made the device pretty accurate, but Sander wished that it was even more accurate as he looked around at his surroundings.

He could easily see his girlfriend, a white rabbit named Samantha, towering over him. She was hard to miss since Sander could not have been much larger than the flecks of pepper that covered the steak he had found himself on. He happened to pick an extremely bad time to show up for himself as well. Only seconds after appearing he had to dodge a gigantic knife as it came down on where he was standing. He needed every last second to keep himself from getting cut in half by the knife. The steak sauce covering the steak sucked at Sander's body, making it difficult to move with any speed. In his haste to get out of the way he did not notice the sauce suck the wristband right off his arm, which robbed him of the ability to return to the Technodyne facility even if the wristband worked.

Sander's world was shaken as Samantha cut into her steak even though from her view point she was only shaking it a little bit. The rabbit did not even notice the slightly mobile piece of peeper as she went to work. Sander tried to keep his balance, but he ended up falling face first into a pool of steak sauce. It was a real struggle to extract himself from the sauce and he found himself more exhausted than he thought he would be after doing so. After rubbing the sauce out of his eyes he looked back up at Samantha and gulped nervously as he watched her finish chewing up the piece of steak. That piece of steak had been large enough to crush Sander, but to Samantha it only looked like a bite sized snack.

Sander could actually hear the rabbit's belly growl and she looked down at it shyly, hoping no one else would notice. "Don't you worry, there's still plenty left for you," the rabbit whispered to her stomach. That comment made Sander realize that he should probably teleport out of there, but when he reached for the wristband he finally noticed it was gone.

The cat froze in indecision for a moment. He could not figure out what he was supposed to do. The wristband was not in plain sight and looking through all that sauce would take time. He thought about just trying to get off the steak while he could, but then he thought about how well he would be able to survive in the world at his miniscule size. Finding the wristband seemed like a good idea, but that meant staying on the steak and the hungry look in his girlfriend's eyes did not make him want to do that. But, as Samantha's knife came down to carve out another piece of steak all of Sander's plans vanished from his mind and all he could do was scream, "Samantha wait, I'm down here. Please notice me."

Even if no one else in the restaurant was talking and there was not any other noise in the area it would have been highly doubtful that Samantha would have been able to hear her miniscule boyfriend. That did not stop Sander from continuing to try though. It was not really because he was determined to make himself heard, it was because he was panicking and he was not capable of rational thought at the moment. Then Samantha started cutting into the steak once more. Having his world get shaken for a second time and having to struggle just to stand up gave Sander's fear stricken mind the distraction it needed to start thinking again. The problem was that he really did not have many options to think about.

With the position that he was in there was only one thing that he could do. He dived back into the steak sauce in search of the wristband. It was going to be difficult to hide it and the thick steak sauce was not helping the situation, but he had to try. Samantha seemed to be working against him all the way too. All her cutting made Sander have to divide up his attention between searching and making sure he was not in the path of the knife. Unfortunately, even though Sander was able to avoid getting cut up he was not able to find the wristband. As the little cat began to lose hope he looked over at Samantha picking up another piece of steak with her fork and that was when he finally spotted the wristband. It was in a drop of steak sauce leaking down the side of the piece of steak that Samantha was picking up. Sander did not have much time to think and made a very hasty decision. The piece of steak was close to the tiny cat and he jumped for it before Samantha could lift it up out of his reach.

Sander managed to grab the bottom of the steak before it was out of reach, but he was not having much luck climbing it. It was not until the rabbit changed the angle of the steak to bring it into her mouth that Sander was able to finally start making progress toward the wristband. The sight of Samantha's onrushing maw was enough to give Sander pause before he started moving again. He raced for the wristband, but was just shy of reaching it before Samantha closed her mouth around the tasty little morsel. The motion of removing the meat from the fork was nearly enough to knock Sander off of it. He had to hold on tight as Samantha started chewing up the piece of meat. Sander definitely did not want to lose sight of the wristband in this situation.

The cat had a difficult task ahead of him as his girlfriend unintentionally tried to make a meal out of him. Not only did he have to avoid getting chewed up, he had to try to make his way to the wristband before it ended up getting destroyed. The cat had to be every bit as agile as cat's were stereotyped to be in order to accomplish that. Things were much more difficult for Sander than it had been for the others than it had been for John and Richard earlier. They only had to try and dodge getting chewed up by staying on the tongue. What Sander had to do was avoid getting chewed up while going after a wristband that was close to his girlfriend's teeth at almost all times. The little cat often found himself in between her teeth and narrowly avoided getting mashed in between them.

Sander also knew the amount of time he had to get the wristband was extremely limited. Samantha would not keep on chewing forever after all. Time was running out and disaster struck for Sander. After jumping out from in between his girlfriend's teeth one last time he lost sight of the wristband. He frantically looked around for it and was about to panic until he caught a small glimpse of it. The thing had managed to get wedged between Samantha's teeth and Sander quickly made his way over to it. He knew his girlfriend was going to swallow him at any moment. She did keep chewing long enough for Sander to reach the wristband. Pulling the wristband from between her teeth proved to be even more difficult than moving through the sauce. In Sander's tired state he found that he could not dislodge it no matter how much he strained every muscle in his tiny body. Samantha was more than willing to give him the helping hand he needed though. When she swallowed, Sander was able to keep his grip on the wristband and it popped right out as he was swallowed along with the steak.

Even as Sander plummeted down the rabbit's throat he did not feel any fear. He was too busy exulting the fact that he had the wristband back. The cat pressed the button on the wristband that he was confident would teleport him back to the safety of the Technodyne facility. When nothing happened it was like his world fell out from beneath him. Since he was plummeting down to his doom it was a rather appropriate emotion. Sander kept on pressing the button in hopes that it was just a temporary problem even after entering Samantha's belly. Even as digestive acids pooled up around him he could not stop pressing that button until those acids did what they do with tiny bits of nutrients.

The next set of people to use the teleporter decided to do something a little different. Instead of picking a specific location in the city that they wanted to visit they had the teleporter target the entire city. They thought it might teleport them somewhere random within the city if they did that. The group thought it might be funny to just randomly appear in some poor unsuspecting person's home. They were a little disappointed that the teleporter did not seem to work after they did that. When they tried to pick a more specific location within the city to teleport to and the teleporter still did not seem to work most of the members in the group started to get scared, scared enough that they decided to leave the building before someone figured out that they were the ones that broke the revolutionary teleportation device. Only one couple stayed behind to see if they could get the device working again.

That couple happened to be a bear and deer named Greg and Vivian, respectively. No matter what anyone tried they could not get the teleporter to teleport them to the city they wanted to go to, so the couple gave up on that. Instead, they tried to see if they could at least get the teleporter to give them a free ride back to their hometown. The two were almost disgusted that the teleporter seemed to work fine when it teleported them right into their bedroom of their small town home.

"Won't give us a free vacation, but it will send us right home," Vivian said to her husband after she got over how weird it felt to actually be teleported.

"At least it was quick and kind of interesting," Greg said lightly, trying to hide his own sense of disappointment. He was also a little relieved that the teleporter was not broken. If they had done that he was not sure just how much trouble they all would have been in, but he was sure he would have been in plenty. To Greg and Vivian everything seemed just fine. The previous three sets of people would have been surprised to see that those two seemed to have made it out of the teleportation process without shrinking and they may have thought it was unfair. If any of them had been able to measure the bear and the deer's height they would have thought it was even more unfair that the couple was actually close to an inch taller than they had been before teleporting themselves home. The bear and the deer would only absentmindedly notice their increase in size and usually dismissed the thought that they had grown as nothing more than their imaginations.

There was another group that was unable to notice that something had changed though. The bear and the deer had brought quite a few guests home with them with even noticing it, which was quite an accomplishment considering they had just teleported a few million others into their room with them. Granted, they did not notice all those people because those people were all under the bed in their room, but it still seemed like they should have noticed that an entire city was under their bed. It turned out that when Greg and Vivian had tried to teleport to the city they had actually selected the entire city to be teleported and that was the reason they had not been able to teleport their themselves.

Of course, no one in the city had any idea what was happening to them. One moment everyone had been going about their normal routine and the next they had all been surrounded by some weird light before finding themselves in a very strange place. The sky was blotted out by some weird structure that they could not identify. No one wanted to admit that what they were looking at resembled the underside of a bed of gigantic proportions. Panic reigned supreme within the city as people tried to figure out what was going on. That was something that was especially hard to do since most of the city was lacking in power due to the fact that the teleporter had not teleported any power plants along with the city. Without power none of the local television or radio stations could broadcast what was going on and that just fueled the panic within the city.

Things were getting bad awfully fast within the city and that prompted a few brave souls to try and get out of the city while they could. People were just happy that their cars were working. That made getting out of the city easy enough once those people could get past the numerous mobs that had formed within the city. Those people noticed something else was wrong the moment that drove past the city limits. What they were driving on was not concrete, dirt, rock, or any other thing that any of them had ever driven on before. Some people could not comprehend what they were driving on, but there were a few that swore they were driving on what looked like a carpet. Things did not get any less weird for those people as they approached the edge of the bed. It had been hard to make out the scenery in the distance, but as they all got closer to what they were seeing even the most self delusional of people had to admit that what they were seeing looked like huge pieces of furniture. For those people it was hard to believe how huge that furniture was. Their entire city could fit under a bed and their cars looked like nothing more than ants compared to the furniture. Some people turned back to the city before they could meet the residents of the home they seemed to be in, but many others continued to drive on for one reason or another.

The truth of the matter was that no one had a plan for what was happening. Everyone was doing the first thing that came to mind. It was not like anyone had ever come up with an emergency plan for what to do when you wind up shrunken to the size of a flea. If anyone had really thought ahead about what to do they might have thought differently about driving out into the middle of the floor within what looked like a giant bedroom. There was a reason rodents and pests tried to stick close to walls and dark places whenever they could when they invaded a house. Even the people that had chosen to stay in the city had yet to fully realize that they needed to start thinking more like pests if they wanted to survive, but everyone was about to learn that they needed to do that the hard way.

Eventually Vivian did decide to make a trip back to her bedroom, much to the astonishment of the people that did get to see her. Considering that an entire city, monolithic skyscrapers, gigantic sports stadiums, and all could easily fit under the deer's bed, to the people on the ground there really were not any words that came to mind that adequately described how large the deer looked. Vivian had absolutely no clue that the city dwellers of insignificant proportions were scrambling around on her floor as she walked around her room like there was no problem at all. The people driving around on the floor tried their best to avoid hooves large enough to crush multiple city blocks, but their cars were never able to move fast enough. Just one step could bring dozens of lives to an end as what seemed like an unimaginable amount of weight reduced vehicle and passenger alike to nothing more than scrap.

Some tried to head back toward the city, but as the deer walked about her room while seeming to look for something she usually ending up cutting off their paths back to the city. The people were forced to find other paths to escape, some trying to find other pieces of mountain sized furniture to hide under while others tried to get out of the room. Then things went from bad to worse as the Vivian's husband stepped into the room to help his wife in her search. Those that had been closest to escaping from the room found themselves under Greg's mammoth leathery paw and were crushed in the blink of an eye. What was left of them was too small for the bear to notice as he walked on with a couple of miniature cars stuck to his paws. By the time Vivian and Greg had finally found what they were looking for they had managed to crush more than half of those that had ventured out onto their bedroom floor. While the bear and the deer where talking about how happy they were to have found what they were looking for, the miniature people were still trying to get out of the killing floor that the bedroom had become. Even if the seemingly giant couple could not see it the shrunken city dwellers could spot wreckage and broken bodies as far as the eye could see.

While the couple was away people did not waste time trying to find cover this time around. There was one problem many of the people that were looking for cover did not think of at first and that problem happened to be the matter of what they were going to eat. Even though they were in the middle of a home, they might as well have been in the middle of a desert. They certainly were not going to be able to find any food just lying around on the floor. If they could somehow manage to make it to the refrigerator in the house everyone in the city probably could not open it if they all worked together. They were going to have to head back to the city and hope they could survive on what food they could find there for however long the supplies there lasted. A lot of those people were scared about making their way back to the city after what had just happened. They had managed to find temporary hiding places where they felt they were safe from getting on and they did not want to come out of them. But, hunger eventually called out to those people and the two giants had not come back into the room yet, so they screwed up their courage and tried to make the drive back to the city.

Those people had made it most of the way back to the city without spotting the bear or the deer, but the people of the city did not seem to have the best luck in the world. If they did have anything amounting to a decent amount of luck they would not have ended up shrunken under someone's bed after all. Their bad luck continued to hold up that day as Vivian and Greg walked back into the room carrying snacks in paper towels with them. There were not as many people to crush on the floor as there had been the first time they walked into the room, but they still managed to squash quite a few people before they found a seat on the floor to eat their snacks. They did not want to get any crumbs in their bed while they ate.

Some people were very lucky due to the fact that neither of the giants was blocking their path back under the bed. Others were not quite so fortunate. Either they were crushed as the giants sat down or they accidentally drove onto the huge paper towels that the bear and the deer sat on the floor next to them. It was a bad place for those people to be. Even though they had tried driving back to the city out of concern for food they now found themselves looking at far more food than they could ever deal food. On the napkins with them were tacos large enough to crush a stadium. The people in their cars thought about turning around and heading back to their original hiding places rather than driving on, but the deer and the bear had inadvertently formed an impassable barrier when they brought their hoof and paw together as they stretched out on the floor. To the shrunken people the legs of the two giants formed a massive valley that they would not be able to climb out of. If they wanted out they were going to have to drive past the taco meal.

To many, driving past tacos did not seem like such a bad idea. At least they did not have to dodge those huge paws and hooves this time. That was their first impression of the situation, but first impressions can often be wrong. As they drove on they found out that being in the middle of a giant's meal is not the best place to be. Of course, no one was stupid enough to drive right into a taco, but Greg and Vivian were not paying attention to where they were setting their tacos down. Sometimes people would find the path ahead of them perfectly clear, and then the next moment they would find a huge taco right in their path. It was no wonder that so many people ended up accidentally colliding with a taco.

Hitting the shell of the taco was not so bad if they could slow down the car enough to avoid injuring themselves. Still, that often wound up in the car getting wrecked and the people had to get out and make the journey back to the city on foot. It was then that they discovered how being in a car had offered them a bit of comfort. Even though the giants had been able to crush cars as if they were nothing more than tin foil they had still offered a slight feeling of protection. Being in the presence of giants that put most mountains to shame without any protection whatsoever was a daunting experience. However, that experience was nothing compared to what the people that drove into the tacos experienced.

Once driving into a taco it was extremely difficult to get back out. Between the various sauces, meats, and very sticky melted cheese it was very easy for a car to get completely stuck. Getting out of the car did not help much either since a person could get stuck just as easily as their cars could. After someone ended up getting stuck their fates were sealed. There were only two things that could happen to them. Either they would end up getting eaten by the bear or they would end up getting eaten by the deer. It really did not make much of a difference to the people which one at them. To them it only meant a slightly different view of the digestive process. One group of people witnessed building sized fangs chew up more food in a single bite than any 100 people could eat in an entire year and the other group witnessed the same thing, except the teeth were flat instead of pointed. Besides the shape of the teeth there was no difference at all. The ground beneath them was a vast undulating plane that tried to move them towards a crushing doom. They had to swim in oceans of saliva, and even if they could avoid getting chewed up they still wound up getting rolled into huge amounts of chewed up mush that were impossible to escape from. Being rolled up in those balls was thoroughly disgusting for those that had minds functional enough to deal with the fear they were experiencing at being a part of a titans meal. They would be grateful for being rolled up deep within those balls, though, as they were soon swallowed. As nothing more than specs in the belly of a giant anyone touched by digestive acids would have been dissolved instantly. Being in the ball of mush gave them a little time to at least hope for a miracle before the protective ball around them dissolved to the point where it could no longer protect them.

Even the people that did not get stuck in the tacos would sometimes meet the same fate. Little bits and pieces of the tacos would sometimes fall out and back onto the paper towels. Those little pieces were often large enough to crush a vehicle, and even if that did not happen it was very easy for a car to get embedded in a stray piece of meat. Some people did rarely manage to escape their food prison, but most others wound up as another piece of the meal when Greg or Vivian noticed the tasty little tidbits that had briefly escaped them. It was a nice meal for the couple while very few tiny little specs managed to make it past them and back to the safety of the city under the bed.

After the tales those few survivors managed to bring back to the city it was rare anyone tried to escape from the city ever again. The ones that did never made it so far as the front door of the house before suffering some misfortune. When a semblance of order was restored to the city the decision was made that they would not try to escape from the city in mass anymore. If they did somehow manage to draw attention to themselves in the numbers needed to do so they all thought they would be mistaken for an infestation and they had no doubts they could be easily exterminated. Still, they did have to try to get food every once and a while. It was a good thing the bear and the deer seemed to like eating in their room so much. That gave the people in the city the opportunity to go foraging for crumbs every so often. Forging could be dangerous however. Over time there would be many more that found themselves as nothing more than a tiny little stain beneath some hoof or paw or they would end up as an insignificant bit of nutrients for one of the titans. It was a life the people in the city would have to get used to as they were forced to accept their new role as pests in a world of giants.

The next couple of people were really looking forward to being able to make it to the pool party they had thought they were going to miss. They had been lucky enough to be among the few people that Technodyne rarely let into their facility, but the tour date had conflicted with the pool party. When the choice came down to seeing some of the most high tech gadgets the world had to offer and attending a pool party they had gone with the gadgets. Now it looked like they were going to get to do both. They thought things were looking up, especially since the teleporter did not appear to be broken after all.

However, when they tried to use the teleporter to transport themselves to the pool party things seemed to go wrong once more. Fortunately for them they did not have the trouble that the first three groups to use the teleporter had. It was more like the trouble that the most recent group had had. The teleporter just would not teleport them to the destination that they wanted to go to. Unlike the last group they did not give up just because the teleporter did not want to transport them were they wanted to go. They kept messing with the device until it worked the way they wanted it to, or at least they thought it did.

One perception twisting transportation later left the people in the location that they wanted to be at. There was something wrong though. The pool party seemed to be deserted. There was not even any water in the pool. There were signs all around the pool that there had been a party, but everyone seemed to be gone now. They thought it was unusual that the pool should be emptied out right after the party ended and that it should end so early in the day. The group was also extremely disappointed that they had missed out on all the fun despite sneaking into a Technodyne facility and using an experimental teleportation device to get to the party.

Without anything left to do at the pool party they decided to just teleport back to the Technodyne facility. That was when they were disappointed for a second time upon finding out that the wristbands did not work. They were able to shrug that off in the end. Things could have been worse, but they did not realize how much worse things could get as a few other people who had used that teleporter had. Since they were already back home all they had to do was walk back to their houses and that was not much of a problem. It was a little hot outside and they all thought they might get a little thirsty on the way back to their homes, but there were still a lot of drinks just sitting around. One bunny by the name of Sheryl happened to pick up what looked like an untouched glass ice water.

What Sheryl did not notice was that there was a little more than water and ice in the water. By messing around with the teleporter that had caused more than just themselves to be teleported. They had managed to teleport all the people that had been at the party to get teleported multiple times. Everyone at the party had then had the misfortune of getting teleported into an ice cold glass of water. Since all of those people had been dressed for a warm summer day they had been especially unprepared for the frigid conditions in the glass of water. They would not have to deal with those conditions for long as the glass they had been teleported into had just been picked up by a colossal bunny girl that many of the people recognized from around the neighborhood.

The people from the party would have preferred to just deal with the cold rather than what came next for them. Whenever Sheryl got a little thirsty she would take what seemed like small sips of water to her. Those sips were much larger to the people in the glass since they had ended up at about the same size as the people in the city that had been teleported under the bed. One little sip to the bunny seemed like hundreds, if not thousands, of gallons of water to the tiny people. Trying to avoid being slurped up in those little sips was an exhausting task for those people. The people in the water depended more on luck than their swimming ability to save them.

With each sip more people would slid past the rabbit's thin lips and along her slender pink tongue on their way down her cavernous throat. The people would call out for the rabbit not to drink them as she drank, but that just proved to be a waste of breath. That was something they could not afford to waste as the ones that managed not to get sipped up learned very quickly. As the water from the glass disappeared, so did the partygoers. The trip down the Sheryl's throat proved to be a terrifying one. It was a vertical drop that went on for thousands of feet to the tiny people. If they managed to survive the fall to the rabbit's belly they then had to worry about the digestive acids that were mixing in with the water. They hoped that the water would help to dilute the water enough to give them a chance at survival. The fact that none of them made it through the digestive process was evidence of how much good their hopes did them.

When the glass was down to its last bit of water and its last little survivor Sheryl was nearly home. That survivor hoped that the rabbit would get inside, set the glass down, and forget about it for a while to give him a chance to rest. He doubted he would be able to climb out of the glass, but he hoped that he would be able to get enough of his energy back to survive one last sip of water. Hopes really were not doing people much good that day. Sheryl decided to finish off the water before she went inside. The last survivor was forced to make one more attempt at escaping his fate. He doubted he would be able to resist the flow of water being sucked up by the rabbit, so he tried something a little different. As he was being sucked up past Sheryl's lips he tried to make a grab for them.

To his surprise he was actually able to get a hold of her soft leathery lips as he passed by and the last of the water flowed right past him. He could not believe that he had managed to avoid getting drunk by the rabbit. Just as he was about to let out a little shout of joy the rabbit licked her lips to get the last bit of water of off them. The one and only survivor of the pool party was dragged into the rabbit's maw by her velvety smooth tongue where he was promptly swallowed. While the last survivor was quickly dispatched by the rabbit's digestive system she only thought about how nice it was to have a cool refreshing glass of water on a hot summer's day.

Back at the Technodyne facility there were only two people left waiting to use the teleporter. "So now that we have all of them out of the way, how about we have some fun ourselves Clare," the wolf said to his girlfriend.

"Yeah, it's about time we got to use this thing Evan. I thought those last couple of groups might have broken the thing, or that we were all using it too much, or something like that," Clare said.

"Let's use this thing before it breaks down for good," Evan said as he started selecting their destination on the teleporter. Much to the relief of the couple they did not experience any of the trouble the last two groups had. The teleporter worked on the first try for them. They had selected a nice little location for a picnic that Clare had thought was a romantic place. The teleportation process itself was a little weird, but still kind of interesting for them. But, once they reached their destination they noted that something was off.

The terrain all around them looked kind of weird. It definitely did not look like the terrain in the area they had selected should look like. The scenery in the distance was also much different than it was supposed to be. In one direction there was supposed to be a forest as far as the eye could see and in the other direction there was supposed to be a city in the distance. As far as Clare and Evan could tell they just seemed to be in some vast plain. There was some green on the ground, but it did not look quite like any grass either of the two had ever seen.

"Do you think we ended up in the wrong place?" Clare asked.

"Maybe. Let's teleport back and try again," Evan responded. Like all the others before them they discovered that the wristbands did not work. That was a bit worrisome since the two had no clue where they were. If they had been aware of what had happened to the others they might have been afraid that they had shrunken to an incredibly small size. That assumption would have been incorrect. It was the exact opposite that had happened to them. Trees that should have towered over them were so small that the two had mistaken them for funny looking blades of grass. They could not see a city in the distance because the picnic basket that they had brought with them was sitting on top of where the city had been.

Something else had gone wrong with the teleporter that had prevented the now gigantic picnic basket from crushing the city. Something similar had happened earlier with the device and it could have been viewed as a good thing from the perspective of some people in the city. Instead of being crushed, much of the city had ended up merging with the contents of the picnic basket just as Vince had done earlier. Not everyone in the city had merged with the contents of the picnic though. Still, they did not have much chance of escape if they were trapped in a building that had merged with a ketchup bottle or a stadium that had merged with a hamburger bun. Evan and Clare were aware of none of this. All they knew was that they seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. The people in the city might have been alright if the two newly made titans had decided to forget about the picnic and try to find out where they were. Unfortunately for them, both Evan and Clare had decided to skip eating any other meals that day and were feeling famished at the moment. Since they could not get back to the Technodyne facility they decided to enjoy their picnic before they went to find out where they were. Even if they were not where they had wanted to go it was still a nice sunny day and there were no apparent threats in the area.

As the two giants set up for a meal they had no way of knowing that an entire city had been added to their meal. They had hotdog buns merged with skyscrapers, salt shakers with smaller buildings, pepper flakes with cars, drinks that had merged with pools, and people that had merged with just about anything or were stuck in those things. Most of the people in that city had no idea of what was going on. There was no way for them to tell. If they were stuck in something like a huge hamburger bun all they could tell was that they were surrounded by some sort of spongy substance for some strange reason. Even when they tried to taste it and found that it tasted exactly like bread they dismissed the fact that it could be bread. People getting surrounded by more bread than they had ever seen in their lives was a crazy notion. They thought they must have been dreaming or going insane. No one wanted to believe that something like this could really happen to them. It was a fact that they were only going to be able to deny for but so long.

Evan and Clare decided to start things off with a nice salad. The wolf was the type that liked to add a little salt to his salad and saw no reason not to do so now. Of course, the people stuck in the salt shaker and the ones that had merged with the grains of salt would have thought differently. Countless people rained down into the wolf's salad as he prepared his meal and many people were able to get their first look at the huge wolf. It was a surreal experience for those people, seeing something so large that was actually a living creature. The people that had already been in the salad had of course been able to see the wolf for a longer period of time, but they still had yet to get over the sight.

Those with a view of Clare were no less awed by the sight of the massive horse. She was busy adding her favorite salad dressing to her meal. Like Evan, she was unaware of the fact that she was adding dozens, if not hundreds, of extra people to her meal. The rather thick salad dressing was a difficult substance to get around in and people had to struggle to swim around in it. Even though they were afraid of getting eaten they were much more worried about drowning first. The people that had merged with various parts of the salad and the dressing were having a much different, but still frightening, experience. They were getting to find out what it was like to have people crawl all over them or swim through them. It was a very interesting sensation that none of them really knew how to describe. The sensation was not a bad one, but they knew they were probably about to experience a sensation they would like much less.

With the preparations done for their salads, Clare and Evan started on their meals. Each fork full of salad contained dozens of people trying to deny that they were in the situation they were really in. Even with so many terrified little people screaming in fear in their maws the two giants were unable to hear their tiny voices. It did not take long for those voices to be silenced as the two titans chewed up their meal. For the people in their regular bodies it was the struggle of their lives to try and avoid getting chewed up by huge teeth, while for the ones stuck merged into other things it was just an odd experience where they could not experience pain even when they noticed various pieces of their new bodies getting chewed up. Even if there was not pain involved for some people it was still stomach turning to find that the chewed up remains of someone else had managed to get mixed into theirs.

Even if many people did get chewed up there were still some people that managed to avoid that fate. Some did that by trying to hold on to any part of the tongue that they could get a hold of. Others did not have to do much to avoid getting chewed up. They were just stuck to the tongue in a pool of saliva. There were even some that had merged with various parts of the salad that managed to get wedged in between Clare and Evan's teeth. When the time came for the giants to swallow most people were swallowed along with the chewed up salad. The slide down the slimy throats of the giants was impossible to resist. That did not stop people from trying to get a hold of anything they could. There were even a small number of people that did try to get a grip on various folds of flesh within the cavernous tunnels of the giants throats, but they could feel the walls of flesh they were holding on to trying to make them lose their grip and continue their journey to the bellies of the titans. There were not many that could resist the will of the wolf and the horse's throat.

Amazing as it was, there were some people that manage to avoid getting ushered down to Evan and Clare's bellies as they ate their salad. But, that all changed whenever they decided to drink a little water to help wash down their meal. Like with everything else, the water bottles were filled with those from the city that had merged with the picnic. The people in the water bottles had wasted a lot of energy just trying to make it to the surface of the water to avoid drowning. It all seemed like a waste as the two titans slurped them up without a moment's hesitation. To the tiny people those sips of water sent tidal waves cascading through the maws of the giants and down their throats. Anyone that had been able to avoid getting swallowed so far were washed away by the massive amounts water and swept right into bellies large enough to fit mountains in. They struggled to find a way out while they could, but the giants continued to eat, burying them in mountains worth of food and sealing their fate.

With the salads finished the two titans started setting up the rest of their meal. To Evan and Clare it was not a large amount of food. All they had brought with them besides the salad were a couple of hamburgers and hotdogs along with a slice of apple pie for the both of them for desert. The small amounts of food might have made things a little more survivable for people stuck in the condiments if it was not for the fact that the two more than mountain sized giants liked to load up their hotdogs and hamburgers with liberal amounts of toppings. It was actually something that the two poked fun at each other about.

"Would you like some hamburger with your ketchup?" Evan asked.

"Maybe a little. And could I get you some hotdog to go with your relish?" Clare responded jokingly.

"In a little while," Evan responded sarcastically. The playful banter of the two mammoth beings did not do anything to lighten the situation for the people that found themselves a part of their perspective meals, most of them at least. There was a certain group of people that was a little comforted at being able to hear voices for the first time. Those were the people that were stuck inside of the bread. Many of those people had been trying to dig or eat their way out of the bread and they were all getting discouraged at the seemingly never ending amounts of stuff there was to dig out of. It was nice to finally be able to hear a voice even if they were muffled by all the bread. They were clueless to the fact that those voices belonged to beings so large they made normal people look like fleas.

The people that were able to get a view of the onrushing maws of the horse and the wolf were terrified the entire way. For those stuck in the bread all they were able to tell was that they were in motion. When either Evan of Clare would take a bite out of their meal people would try to rush out of the way of the massive teeth that sheered right through bread and meat thicker than a sports stadium as if it were no problem at all. Some people were able to get their first glimpse of the outside world once the bread started to dissolve in the mouths of the titans. It was a confusing sight for those people at first and it did not help that the ground beneath them was a massive spongy carpet that was undulating wildly beneath them. For those people it took a while to figure out that they were inside a mouth of mammoth proportions and even longer to figure out that they needed to avoid the huge gleaming white teeth that sought to ground them up. Some failed, some did not. Ultimately, it did not matter all that much. When the titans swallowed they swallowed everything.

The people still stuck on the uneaten portions of the meal were only able to watch as lump after lump descended the throats of the wolf and the horse. They knew very well that each of those lumps had the potential to contain hundreds of their fellows within them. Some felt sorry for those people since they were bound for a very corrosive demise. Others felt more sorry for themselves since they knew they were about to meet the same fate. They knew there was no chance they would get the giants to notice them. The wolf and the horse were of such grand proportions that they could not notice the existence of such tiny insignificant things as the entire population of a city. Bite by bite, everyone that had found themselves a part of the hamburger and hotdog found themselves as nothing more than an additional topping to the meal, a topping so tiny in proportion that the giants never noticed them. They all had to go through the same long journey down the throats of the behemoths where bellies gurgled in delight at having more guests enter them. People scrambled around on huge piles of mush, pounded on stomach walls, and were occasionally jostled around whenever the giants shifted position or patted their bellies in satisfaction. It would take the giants a while to digest the meal, but everyone in the stomach knew they would be digested eventually. Some tried to use what time they had to escape, while others thought escape was impossible and went to find a nice little pile of mush to wait to be digested on.

Just as Clare had finished off her hamburger and was about to start on the pie she said, "You know what, let's save the pie for later. We don't know how far we are from civilization. It might be a good idea to save the pie as a snack in case we have long to walk."

"Sounds like a good idea to me. I guess we should pack up and get walking then," Evan said as he popped the last piece of his hotdog into his mouth. That came as a relief for many of the people stuck on or in the pie. There were a few people that did not feel any relief at all though. Those people were the ones that realized the two titans were not likely to find any civilization, at least no one that they would not accidentally step on, any time soon and when they got hungry the only thing large enough to satisfy their hunger was the pie. It was only a matter of time before they decided to resume their meal.

Meanwhile, there was a bit of a planet wide panic. The appearance of two beings as large as Evan and Clare had not gone unnoticed. Their casual little walk after their meal was causing even more of a panic as various small towns and large parts of cities were obliterated under hoof and paw. There were many people trying to figure out what had happened to make the two titans appear, but there was only a small number of people that recognized that the wristbands the giants were wearing belonged to Technodyne. They were furiously working on how to reverse the process that had created the two giants without making things worse. Of course, they were also trying to keep it a secret that it was their teleporter that was responsible. It would have been horrible for the company's public image to admit any responsibility for such a disaster. They thought they might be able to pull off reversing the process as long as the giants did not destroy their last remaining teleporter. The others had already been stepped on by now and one had actually merged with the horse's hamburger meal. What they did not know was that the facility that contained the last teleporter happened to be in an area where Evan and Clare thought it might be nice to sit down and enjoy a little pie.
