Part 4

For DariusWhitefur

By Draconicon

After a few minutes, the next burst of the transformation finished, and Joe…well, Joe wasn’t in the best of states. He was locked down on all fours, his hands and feet clawed, fur running along his back and pressing against the back of his neck. His tail was longer, too, pushing out from under his shirt, and there was no denying the dog-shaped bulge in his pants that was getting bigger by the second. He huffed softly, snorting through his nose to try and ignore his own scent, but it was getting harder and harder.

However, it had stopped again, despite the bulge of the claws in his shoes. He took a few deep breaths, looking up at Marie Shadowstorm again.

“What…what can we do…to fix this?” he panted.

“You’ll have to return to where you were cursed, and there, Storvinar can help you.”

“Me?” the fae hybrid asked, blinking.

“Yes, you,” she said, shaking her head. “You are not as bound by the rules as I am, and you are endowed with a certain amount of chaotic magic of your own. You can warp a spell without having to cast another one, particularly if you’re in the right place.”

Joe slowly nodded, understanding that much. Or at least, he tried to understand it. He wasn’t going to pretend that it made that much sense in the grand scheme of things, but he could pretend that it did.

He managed to bring himself to a proper sitting position, his arms – well, almost forelegs, now – pressed against the floor as he brought his butt down on the ground. He didn’t feel that comfortable in that position, but it was better than nothing, and at least he didn’t feel like he was quite as much a dog sitting like that. Not quite, at least.

Madame Shadowstorm looked at him again, shaking her head.

“And you. You will have to make sure that you don’t fall victim to the curse any further than you already have. A full transformation will be much harder to undo, even for the fae. If you are completely transformed, there are good odds that you will never be turned back.”

“…How good are good odds?”

“Good enough that you don’t want to tempt them.”

“…Got it. And, um…what about Marco?” he asked, nodding to the big guy standing beside him. “And…and Melody?”

“There’s another?”

“Yes, um…Storvinar was…very interfering.”

“…Why am I not surprised?” She sighed, rubbing her forehead and grumbling under her breath. “Storvinar, make an appointment with your proper employer so that we can talk? You need to be reviewed for the amount of chaos that you’re causing.”

“I am one of the fae, you know.”

“And that is not helping us right now.”

Marie got to her feet, and he was surprised at how tall she actually was. It wasn’t even due to heels, as it might have been with some women. She walked around the desk without any sign of them, at the very least. She looked down at him, and then up at Marco, and then sighed under her breath.

“You.” She pointed at Marco. “Go and get whoever else was affected by this, and bring them back here. We will deal with this when the moon rises.”

“You’ll help us, then?” Marco asked.

“I’m helping as much as the rules allow me to help. The most I can do is open the frat-house to you, and then allow you to do the rest on your own. Anything further will constitute a certain amount of illegal behavior, and I will not condone that. Not even from myself.”

“Then how the hell are you helping, hmm? Darling, I’m fine with following the rules as long as they help people, but this helps no-one.”

“…Does it not?” she asked, her voice dropping, her eyes narrowing, and the entire room getting darker.

There was a rumbling feeling in the air, something that shook the entire room as the sorceress took a step forward. She grabbed Marco by the chin, forcing him to stare at her and her alone.

“Do you understand the power of magic, then, little one? Do you think that you can expect, plan, guess as to how it works, imagining how the currents of power shift and flow when someone uses their power to change the world? Do you understand the currents that guide the destiny and fate of every living being, that shape their minds and their beliefs? Do you understand better than I how the world can be changed forever with a single little spell, even the most guided, gentle one?

“Because, if you do, then by all means, tell me how the rules should work, and how they should be changed, and how they should be ignored. Because if that’s the case, then you obviously are a genius that needs to be inducted into the ranks of magicians everywhere. But if you don’t…”

She let go, and Marco shivered.

“If you don’t, then shut up, and stop pretending that you are better than what you are. I told you your task. Now, get moving.”

“…Yes, dragon lady.”

“Hmmph.”

As his friend darted down the ladder, Joe looked at the older woman again. She sat down with a harrumph, getting somewhat comfortable at her desk, and pulled her quill back to hand. As she started writing, he opened and closed his mouth several times, questions coming and then dying as they arrived.

Eventually, she sighed.

“What?”

“What do you mean, what?”

“You have something to say, so say it. I’m tired of waiting.”

“…Why did you treat him like that?”

“About the rules?”

He nodded.

“Because it’s important. Too many of you young ones think that the rules are there for no reason, that if one person breaks them, then you have the right to break them in return.” She snorted. “As if the rules weren’t meant to establish more than just baselines…”

“I don’t understand. If someone else breaks them, why should you be bound by the same rules? If you’re doing the right thing, then why should they get away with cheating and not you?”

“Besides the fact that, in magic, those rules keep the rest of us safe?” She shook her head. “Rules are more than just limiters. They establish a standard of behavior that we’re supposed to keep to. If one person cheats the rules, then everyone knows that they’re breaking the rules, that something has gone wrong. If everyone cheats the rules, then there’s no point in having them in the first place, and what was wrong is suddenly accepted, if not completely encouraged. When it comes to normal life, that’s dangerous enough. When it comes to magic, that could end the world.”

“…Is Levi going to…”

“He isn’t at that stage, but if he keeps breaking the minor rules, one day, he’s going to break a major one. And that one will be something that he can’t just walk back.”

Marie scribbled on her page for a moment or two, shaking her head.

“You may wander about in the store downstairs if you wish. I need some time to focus on my work.”

“Yes, ma’am.”

He looked at the ladder, then thought better of it. Probably best to wait. He leaned against the wall, did his best to find a position that was more human rather than canine, and then eventually gave up. Rolling himself into a ball, he laid down and tried to ignore the way that his tail tickled his nose.

#

When the moon rose, the four of them – Joe, Marco, Melody, and Storvinar – were teleported out of Marie’s house and to the door of the frat-house. She brushed herself off, the sorceress did, and stood by the door.

“I will open it for you, but after that, you are on your own,” she said, shaking her head. “You know what to do?”

“Yes,” Joe grunted, wincing slightly at the feeling of walking on all fours and having both Marco and Melody staring at him. “We need to find the place where Levi cast the spell, then Storvinar can reverse it there. Then we get out.”

“Correct. Any last questions?”

There were none. Melody was trying to look anywhere but at him, while Marco was trying not to make jokes. They were both affected by the magic that had hit them, with Marco starting to get dog-ears, and Melody starting to get the beginning of paws in her sandals. Neither of them seemed particularly able or willing to try and push for more.

“Then good luck.”

Marie turned, gesturing towards the door. Her hand lit up with green light, and then the doors…

Well, the doors weren’t there anymore. That was the only way to put it. They didn’t explode, nor did they suffer an implosion, nor was there a hole cut through them. They simply didn’t exist any longer. Joe, Marco, and Melody stared for a moment, but Storvinar was already in motion, gesturing for them to follow him through the gap in the wall. They followed without any further questions, shivering a little at the display of magic.

After all, it was one thing to start transforming something that was already there. It was another thing to make it disappear entirely. Joe was starting to understand what Marie meant about the rules.

They entered the frat-house, but there were no lights on. In fact, there was nothing, almost as if everyone had disappeared. Joe padded forward slowly, wishing that his clothes still fit better, feeling the claws on his fingers digging into the floorboards and feeling his shoes ripping with each successive step. His tail wagged slowly, not in interest, but in wary anticipation of what might happen next.

He could smell everything, he realized. He could smell Marco’s casual arousal, the way that the other man was always interested in doing something with someone. He could smell the slightly forced heat that Melody was going through, and how much it was bothering her. He could smell himself, the rutting urge in his balls growing again. Perhaps Marie’s presence had managed to dull it for a while.

Whatever it was, he could feel it building as they walked through the frat-house, making their way down the halls. Joe kept tilting his head up, sniffing at the air. Not just for the smell of other people – though there were plenty of those – but for some idea of where they were supposed to go. After all, he had been blindfolded for a good bit of that.

“Where to?” Marco muttered.

“Uh…here, I think,” he whispered, taking them down a different hall. They eventually reached a staircase, and he could smell his footsteps there. He had been taken up there, then. Nodding upwards, he led the way, Storvinar fluttering at his ear.

“Are you sure that you can fix this?” he whispered to the little hybrid.

“Not sure at all.”

“Great.”

“Madame Shadowstorm is quite intelligent, however. She knows how these things work.”

“That doesn’t help if she’s wrong.”

“She isn’t.”

He just hoped that this worked out. He was most of the way to being a dog already, and if this went much further, he might just lose everything. Shivering at the idea of becoming an ass-sniffing animal, he pushed himself to climb that little bit faster.

Soon, they were on the second floor, and they found a locked door. He sniffed at the bottom of it, then nodded. This was it.

Marco stepped up front, the big guy rubbing his hand along the doorknob. It wasn’t that secure, it seemed, as he chuckled.

“Well, I haven’t done this in a while. Everyone back up; I’m going to need some room.”

Melody and Joe pushed themselves to one side of the hall, while Storvinar floated on the other. She was constantly shifting back and forth, and she kept looking down at his crotch. Despite himself, Joe didn’t feel the same urge as he had felt in the library. Something had changed, he realized.

He sniffed the air, catching the smell of a few old jocks in a different room, as well as the smells of worn socks and underwear. Nothing foul, but all very manly smells. When he breathed them in, his dog-dick twitched in his pants, and he blushed.

I thought that…

He glanced down the hall at Marco, and looked down. He saw the other guy’s bulge, and then imagined what it had been like in the bathroom earlier that morning. One good rut, and he had started thinking of his long-time friend as something else.

He blushed worse as he felt his cock twitching harder, remembering how that asshole had felt, how it had been to be balls-deep in another guy. The half-man, half-dog groaned under his breath, feeling his cock twitching, the tapered tip rubbing against the inside of his underwear and spreading his pre-cum around. The last thing that he needed was to start thinking of sex to that degree, but it was hard to do anything else.

No humping, he told himself. No humping.

Marco came barreling down the hallway, slamming his shoulder into the door. It broke off the hinges, swung in –

“Heh. Finally.”

And there, sitting on a chair in the middle of the room, was a red-skinned demon. He stared, his eyes wide as he took in the sight of the big, horned man, wearing nothing but a pair of leather trousers. The demon got to his feet, puffing out some smoke from his cigar, then crossed his arms under his muscular chest.

Marco whistled.

“Whoever you are, I’m offended I don’t have your number,” the big guy said.

“Heh, we can get to that in a minute. Joe…Joe, Joe, Joe. What are you doing here?” the demon said. “You still have so long before the curse is up.”

“I’m getting it removed.”

“You think that you can just ‘get fixed’ like that?”

“…Please don’t say it that way,” he whimpered.

“Aww, is the little dog feeling down? Is he feeling embarrassed? Or…is he feeling…Horny?”

The demon reached out, cupping the air, and Joe gasped as if the demon’s fingers were wrapped around his balls. It actually felt like they were, like the demon was groping him from a distance. He arched his back as much as he could while on all-fours, his hips thrusting forward despite himself, his pre-cum dirtying the inside of his underwear.

“That’s it. You know what you want, don’t you, dog?”

“Nnnngh…”

“Come…”

There was a pull, and he was almost dragged right off his feet, pulled towards the room in the distance. He stumbled along, his eyes wide as he was dragged towards the very room that they had come to find.

“Ah…ah…”

He panted hard, even as Melody walked with him, her hand on the back of his head. She whispered that it was going to be okay, but he didn’t know if she was trying to calm him down, or do the same for herself.

In any case, soon, all three of them – and Storvinar – were in the ritual room. The demon sucked on his cigar again, puffing it out.

“Now, what am I going to do with the three of you? Levi really screwed the pooch on this one. Heh. Or, planned to. The pooch isn’t entirely here yet,” he said, rolling his fingers around and making Joe moan again as they continued to molest his sac. “Let’s see here…what can we do with a loser on his way to becoming a dog, a big man that wants to fuck demons –”

“Or be fucked by. Not picky,” Marco said.

“And a little librarian that doesn’t know when to keep her nose out of things…”

Joe gritted his teeth, trying to keep himself together, looking up at the faerie. Storvinar was glowing, casting some sort of spell, but whatever it might have been, he couldn’t feel it against the demon magic that was molesting him. He gasped for breath, hunching his hips again as his body continued to transform. His legs finally changed enough for his feet to come out of his shoes, paws coming loose. His pants sagged around his changing hips, slowly falling off of him. The last thing he had was his human face, and it was cracking, changing slowly.

His big dog dick hung down between his hind legs, thrusting forward and then sliding back again and again. The feeling of having something so big back there was more than a little arousing, and he shivered every time that he felt the tapered tip swing up and slap against his belly. It was so hot, so thick, so manly, so…so bestial.

Every time that the demon gestured at him, he felt his cock throb again, almost like a tickling tongue worked from the base to the tip. His entire shaft throbbed, oozing pre-cum and dripping like mad on the floor. The demon’s touch was beyond corruptive, making it hard for him to think about anything but the feeling of throbbing, squirting, spitting pre again and again and again.

He panted as he stood in a pool of his own juices, and Frank, the demon, smirked.

“Now that our main attraction is in the mood, let’s see what we can do about you, girl.”

He pointed down, and his magic forced Melody to her knees. She groaned, trying to resist, but as the demon filled her with potent magic, she was made to lower her head down under Joe’s belly. Her mouth was open, his pre-cum splashing across her face and tongue.

“You know, I’d prefer to be a participant than a voyeur,” Marco said.

“I’m sure, but let him enjoy it. He’s already well-changed, and this will finish it off. And besides, isn’t a full-fledged dog that much more tempting?”

There was a flash of red in Marco’s eyes, and Joe realized that the magic that the demon was using on his friend was far more insidious than just casting a spell of obedience. There was corruption, there, a spell of a different sort of attraction. The black man moaned, his cock throbbing up in his pants.

“Heh, guess you got a point there.”

“Nnnngh…ah…ah…”

The demon smiled, kneeling down at Joe’s side. He stroked his fingers through the fur at the dog’s neck, teasing him, reminding him of his place. Joe panted, biting his tongue, hunching his hips in raw desperation.

“Come now, Joe,” the demon said, chuckling. “You want to cum, don’t you? You want to cum and give in to all those bestial thoughts of yours. It would be so much more fun for you if you just allowed yourself to be a dog.”

The pressure on his cock, the feeling of those magic fingers stroking along his underside was only getting worse. He could feel his knot swelling – no, it was already swollen, already outside of his sheath – and he panted as he felt his balls slowly pulling up, making it harder and harder to resist just giving in, just blowing his load.

“That’s it. It’s so much better to be a dog, isn’t it? You don’t have to worry about the consequences anymore. All you have to do is let loose. Look at that poor girl.” Frank poked her, and Joe could just barely make out her face, smeared in doggy juices. Her eyes were rolled back, her expression the perfect picture of breaking resistance. “Now, a human would be feeling so guilty about this, but you? You’re just a dog. All you want to do is cum. All you want to do is cum and knot and breed. So...do it. Do it, let it all out, and cum. It’ll be one of the last things you want to do for a girl...”

“Ah…ah…nnngh…”

He thrust his hips again, and again, on the verge of blowing his load –

WHOOSH!

A sudden burst of green and white filled the air. Fae magic, Storvinar’s magic. It pushed Frank back by a step, and then filled the air around them. Marco moaned, his face slowly becoming more human again, and as he felt around his backside, it was clear that he was checking to see if it had been turned from bestial to human, as well.

As for Joe and Melody, however…

The pair of them rolled apart, and Joe panted for breath, his head rolling backwards as his cock throbbed hard between his legs. His forelegs started to change, the fur rolling off them and his hands returning to hand-shape rather than paw-shape. However, his lower body was…different. He panted for breath as he felt his cock continue to throb, his eyes rolling back in their sockets as the pleasure slammed into him again and again, his tapered tip drenched in pre-cum.

“Nnngh…ah…”

“So you brought a fairy,” the demon muttered. “I should have expected that, I suppose…ah, well…”

The demon knelt down beside him, and Joe panted as he looked up at the red-skinned, topless figure. Frank chuckled, tapping his head.

“It’s too late to fix everything, you know that?”

“Nnngh…”

“The most he can do is weaken it. You’ve already lost your humanity. It’s just how much of it you get back.”

Joe shivered, shaking his head, slowly looking over at his friend. Marco was slumped against a wall, groaning, panting softly. Frank followed his gaze, then chuckled.

“Oh, you wanted him, did you?” the demon asked. “Not the girl?”

“Nnngh…what…what did you…”

“That one wasn’t my doing. Levi’s, maybe, but probably made worse by your fairy friend,” the demon admitted. “But that hunger you have for him? That’s going to stay. In fact…”

The demon reached down, gently squeezing him by the temples. The red light of the demon’s power and the green-white light of the fae’s magic pressed against him at the same time, and Frank smirked.

“I’ll make sure of it.”

There was a sudden surge, something that grabbed hold of his developing attraction to men, and it grew into a massive thing. He moaned, shivering, shaking, his legs cracking and his spine growing as he was affected by transformations great and small. His cock throbbed, his balls swelled, then shrunk, then swelled again, and his hindpaws clenched, his toes curling hard as he looked at Marco again.

This time, there was no doubt about it. There was an attraction there, an urge to have the same sort of fun as earlier. The hedonistic urges of the dog were there, but tempered by something else. The fae magic turned what could have been a curse into something that was more lasting, more…more intense, more intimate.

He reached out his hand, and Marco, purged of the demonic corruption and attraction that would have pulled him to Frank, reached back.

They held hands as they turned to Melody, watching as the transformation wracked her. It spread through her body, covering her in thick hair and fur. It coated her fingers and feet, her thighs and her arms and her chest. More and more, it spread, her face slowly pushing out, cracking and becoming a muzzle rather than a separate mouth and nose. Her ears rolled out along the side of her head, moving to perch on top, and she whimpered as she was turned from a human to a freak, an animal person.

Yet, even that seemed countered to an extent by the fae magic that was pulsing through the air. Not transformed back, but given comfort. Joe watched as she moaned, touching herself, some of her shame disappearing. She seemed to take some pleasure in her new body, rubbing along her sex, then up to her breasts, squeezing them.

She won’t fit in, but at last she won’t be bothered by it.

As the transformation crept up her body, completely consuming the last bit of her humanity and turning her into a dog-girl that could walk on two legs, the green-white light in the air faded. They were all left affected, changed in some way, though Marco the last of them. Joe had been given his upper half back, his humanity returned from the waist up, but from the waist down, he was completely canine. Able to walk, at least, but still canine.

The demon chuckled to himself, shaking his head.

“Heh, hardly what Levi was aiming for, but definitely more interesting,” the demon said with a chuckle.

“Nnngh…we don’t have to fight you now, do we?” Joe muttered, slowly getting to his feet.

“Hardly.”

“Mmph…I thought you worked for Levi.”

“More a mutual arrangement. And he failed badly in his half of it, this time…”

“His half?” Joe grunted as he wobbled from paw to paw.

“Not something that you need to be concerned about, heh. But for the moment…consider yourself welcome at the frat. If you still want to.”

“…Why?”

“Why not? You were good enough to get around part of the curse. Levi won’t argue it. Not when I’m through with him.”

There was just enough of a rumble in the demon’s voice that Joe was tempted to feel sorry for Levi, but with everything that had been done to him, it was nothing more than a temptation. He grunted as he reached down for Melody, helping her to her feet. He had no idea what they could do from here on out, but at least this was better than some of the alternatives. He had gotten half his body back, and Melody, despite being converted into a two-legged animal, was still better off than the full demonic corruption that she might have gotten.

He looked back at Marco, blushing slightly. There’d been so much flirting between them over the years that he had never really paid attention to, little clues here and there that his friend might have been interested in him, but he’d never picked up on.

“So, uh…”

Marco chuckled.

“Hun, whatever you’re gonna say, say it tomorrow.”

“But –”

“Trust me. Tomorrow. Sleep on it.”

“…”

“Even if it’s something hot and sexy, I want to hear it when it’s real, not when it’s adrenaline.”

“Heh, okay. Okay.”

They helped Melody up and out. She was completely out of it, and he imagined that was partially down to Storvinar. Melody had been affected worse than either of them, and she probably needed some time out of her mind before she could start processing it properly. He wondered how she was going to have anything like a normal life after that sort of transformation, but he imagined that they’d find an answer somewhere.

Magic was real, after all, and now, they had people that they could talk to about it.

He looked around, wanting to thank Storvinar for helping them, but the fae little thing had completely disappeared. He turned this way and that, half-hoping that the little guy was still around, but there was no sign of him.

…Why does that make me worried?

#

Storvinar flickered into appearance in a completely different area. The walls crawled with vines and snakes where he appeared, but as he flapped his wings and darted further in, they faded away, replaced with cold stone and the occasional rune mark here and there. The little hybrid of a faerie darted further in, following the stone hallway to the single chamber deep within this labyrinth of different tunnels.

Soon, he found it. His tunnel ended a level up from the ground, but other tunnels leading out from the chamber could be found much higher than that. There were dozens of them that he could see, and he knew that there were hundreds more that he could not see. They sprawled out from the center, making their way into the distance, leading to different places. Different worlds.

The hybrid floated down to the center of the single chamber to the figure that sat at the desk there. There was no face, merely a hood, and a dancing quill across something on the table. Not a book, not parchment, but something else that Storvinar didn’t recognize.

The figure looked up at him, and gestured. The fae smiled.

“Well, we had some interesting magics today.”

He went through the tale of the last day and a half, of the story of a young man named Joe and his friend Marco, of the corruption of a girl named Melody and the introduction of some bestial things into the world, things that might not be able to go unnoticed the way that so much of the magic had gone so far. He told the figure about the way that Marie had reacted, and the figure made a note about a meeting being needed.

Through it all, Storvinar flitted from place to place, talking about this, that, and everything else. There was so much to talk about, so much to discuss, that it was hard for him to focus on any one thing. All he knew was that he felt something that he needed to add, once they reached the end of the story.

“I like Joe,” he said. “Not entirely sure why, since he’s so strict and afraid, but there’s some fun there.”

“…”

“Yes, I would like to play with him more, but I’ll wait. I can be patient. I can.”

“…”

“That was merely a single incident a few hundred years ago. I’m fine these days.”

The figure almost seemed to smile again, then gestured for him to go. Storvinar nodded, flitting up to the tunnel that would take him back to where he came from. He paused at the top, looking back at the figure. It didn’t watch him go, but for a moment, he wondered just what it was doing with all this.

After all, he had been a spy, of sorts, for this stranger for nearly a hundred years now. Everything that he did, everything that he saw, he brought back, and the stranger did something with it. What, he didn’t now, but something. He just hoped that it all worked out for the best, and the stranger remembered who had helped them.
