Chapter 7 Battle Training part 1
New Dragon Temple, Training ground
Sin looks at the huge wooden doors that Terrador had push open and walk into the room they were hiding, fallow by the others as Sin sat on his Mum back.
As Sin looks around the room, it was like many of the other rooms in the temple. But this room had a large circle arena in it, he guessed it was the training area. He also saw a bunch of wooden pulley levers next to arena. Which Terrador was sitting by along with Cyril and Volteer.
Ivory landed next to Terrador , as Sin climb of his Mum back as Cynder and Nightshade landed next to Spyro. While Rose landed next to her Mum, as in her mouth was Sin bag. Sin chuckled to himself, at how funny Rose look like right now. Like a Dog carrying a pair of shoes to it owner than a furious Dragoness.
“ Thanks Sis.” Sin said to Rose, as he rubs her head while she was making happy muffle noise from his rubbing.
“ No problem bro.” Rose replied, with a smile as she nuzzled him while giving him the bag.
Sin smiled as he then saw Cynder walk over to him as she watches Sin pull out his handgun thing? As well as the 2 small knifes that had the Dragon and Lion drawings on them as she look at there beautiful design.
They look so beautiful in design as well the blades look very sharp and deadly like her Dragon claws. She then watches Sin put some kind of small things into his handgun thing before placing it on his hip. While also placing the small knifes in his body bag things? As well holding the sword in his left hand. She was in her own world while looking at his weapons, because of this she hadn’t notice him staring at her with amusement.
“You ok Cyn?” Sin said to her while giving her a nickname.
“Mmmm what? Oh um I was just looking at your weapons and wait Cyn?” Cynder said quickly, before looking with confusement at Sin.
“ Oh sorry is it ok to call you that? It kind of a nickname for you.” Sin replied with shyness as he blushed deeply.
“ Hmmm I like it, but only you can call me that Sin and by the way good luck.” Cynder said to him before looking around as she quickly gave him a lick on the cheek before flying back to her Mum.
Sin blushed deeply as he tried his best to hide it, as he looks at Cynder who was smirking at him. Luckily no one saw it, as they were too busy chatting and waiting for the event to start. But Sin smiled at her, as she looks back at him with a smile. This is going be fun to be around her Sin thought to himself. Sin then herd a cough as he saw Terrador look at him with a stern look.
“ Are you ready young Sin?” Terrador said in strong tone, as he looks down at young Human.
“Yes Guardian Terrador I am ready.” Sin said in a respectful tone to the Earth Guardian.
“ Good then please enter the circle since you challenge will start soon, but I will explain the rules to you. Their will be 5 rounds each round will get harder until you finish the last round. This is how we start training the young or new students in battle for the first time.
A warning to you Sin your targets will be using real weapons to attack you, but I been told you can be heal by the red crystals .So you will be heal once the battle has ended, by either your victory or if I deem that you’re in danger of a fatal blow is this understood.” Terrador said in the same tone as before.
“ Yes I understand.” Sin replied softly to him.
“ Good prepare yourself. Young one” Terrador said to Sin.
Sin nod his head as he looks around the room to see his family, giving him reassuring looks to him, as Spyro and Volteer look on with a curious look. Cyril gave of a solid neutral look, as did Terrador. While Aqua look on with sneer as Tungsten look on with eagerness to see how Sin battle.
Sin then grips the broadsword in his hand ready for anything, as he keep an eye on Terrador as he push down on a leaver. Sin then heard a grind of gears as well as other noises, as a white smoke appear. Then 2 seconds latter their was a loud poof sound, as the smoke then disappear as in it place was 2 Ape Dummy’s
Confusing Sin for a few seconds before shaking his head he then thought to himself. Wait what was so hard about this? Only for him to look in shock as the Apes dummy’s started to move and become alive and then charge at him what the fuck!. This had taken then Human by surprises but he then doge the swing of an axe that one of the Apes dummy’s had.
Ok WTF maybe they were magic made or something Sin thought to himself, why not! With how this world was it wouldn’t surprise him anymore. Cynder look on with worry at how this battle started but the other Dragons had mix emotion. Well Aqua had a huge grin on her face hoping this Human would get hurt badly.
Zira roll her eyes, as she glared her brother who saw her look, as she move her mouth but no words came out. But Sin could pick up what she was trying to say, as he had trained her to learn the ways of lip reading. So they could keep hidden from their enemies while keeping communicating. Basically she was telling him to wake the fuck up.
Sin did as he then smirks before going serous, as he looks at his prey. Once more dodging one the Apes who had a sword. As he pulled out his Lion throwing knife and with another roll, he aim and launch the knife into the Axe Ape neck as it let out a grunt before poofing out of life leaving just the one.
Sin then let out a yell, taking Spyro by surprise as with one huge swing of his sword it smack into the Ape sword handle. Causing it to fly out the Ape dummy paw. With out a thought and with a large fast Spin, Sin aims the blade of sword at the Ape neck. An with one large swipe he then decapitated the Ape dummy head straight off.
As the headless body drop down before poofing out as well. Terrador just gave nod of impress from that, as Cynder had big smile of her face, while Zira just gave a shrug as she knew how good her bother was anyway.
Sin said nothing as he looks on for his next task, like last time the sound of gears went off. But this time there were 4 Apes Dummy’s with again swords and Axes. Sin cracks his neck as he then charges them as the Dragons look on.
An this went on with the next 3 rounds as more Apes dummy’s got add to the fight, but Sin was like a robot defeating them all with very much ease. Taking the Dragons by surprise how deadly Sin was, yes they had seen how good he was from his memories. But then to see it in real life, to see someone who was very young. Who battle skills would match most of the Dragons, this had impress the Dragons Guardians very much.
Cynder smile as she and Rose cheer him on, while Spyro look in awe at how swiftly he was. Zira just smirks at grumpy looking Aqua, while looking at Tungsten with a curious stare. She had not said anything, but was still watching Sin with an Eagle eye.
Both Nightshade and Ivory gave a grunt, as they watch Sin judo throw one of the Apes near them before jamming his blade deeply into gullet killing the Ape. As he look at them with a Soulless look. It did scare them a bit before he then gave them a smile as he look at them with a normal look. As the Ape poof out signalling he had won the 4 round.
Well it not had been that hard Sin thought to himself, as he looks at the Earth Guardian who was arguing with his Mum. When there was a look of worry of his Mum face. As he looks on with confusement as Terrador move away from one lever to another one.
“ You done well so fare Sin, this is your final challenge begin.” Terrador Said to him.
Why was his Mum looking worried, as he block out the yelling from her and Rose. Something about he was giving her son something that only the Guardians use. He guess but just shrug it off. Only to raise his eyes, as there were now 10 Apes. 5 of them had crossbows and the others had spears.
Sin smirks to himself, as he then looks at Cynder giving her a reassuring look, as place his sword down to pull out his handgun. Before saying out loud to the Dragons and Zira in the room.
“ You might want to cover your ears, it going to get loud.” Sin said to them.
Giving them a warning as he aims his gun at one the Ape dummy’s before fireing.
