A trainer who can never make up his mind tries to leave it in the paws of his Eevee; what evolutionary path it wants to take. But by presenting it all of the options they unintentionally trigger all of the evolutions at once!

(Eevee tf all evolutions)

Mason almost got arrested trying to chip a piece of the region's mossy rock off to evolve his Eevee without actually being at the rock, but pleading ignorant got him off the hook for that one. He now possessed every method of evolution on him. Mason is a pokemon trainer, and when it came to picking his starter pokemon he could not make up his mind. Bulbasaur was strong against Froaky, but Cyndaquill was strong against it in turn. No matter what element he went with the up sides equaled the down sides. He took so long trying to decide someone even offered him a Pikachu as his starter instead so he would finally take his pokemon and Go. Electric was a good option- i only had one weakness. But then he seen a starter option that was perfect for someone who cannot for the life of him make up his damn mind. Eevee- normal type. It only has one weakness, no particular strengths, and one total immunity. More than that however- Eevee can evolve in eight different ways, so he can decide what type he needs most later on and change it into anything!

But time went on and Mason continued to put off the decisions. He and Eevee got along great, but Eevee started to struggle in later levels, trying to take down stronger opponents. Normal type was... not great. The down side of not having any specific focus or strength is you are never going to be particularly strong. In avoiding having too many weaknesses he is also preventing himself from having any strengths too. Eevee was getting a bit frustrated with itself for under-preforming but Mason continued to tell it, it was his own fault not Eevee's. Eevee had the potential, but if Mason never chose a path, Eevee would forever be stuck at the starting line. So, Mason decided to stop battling for a while and just went on a vacation with Eevee, treating it to delicious snacks and just let it relax outside of its ball with him for a while. He maxed out their friendship, which means it can evolve into Umbreon or Espeon depending on whether it was day or night when it evolved. It could also however evolve into Sylveon because it currently knew a Faerie type attack. He also had a fire, thunder, and water stone on him to turn it into Flareon, Jolteon, or Vaporeon if he wanted. It took some sneaking around, but Mason also got a fragment of the moss stone to evolve it into Leafeon and a chunk of the Ice rock for Glaceon. Now he was ready! He could finally evolve his poor Eevee into anything, at any time. He had it on his person ready to go. He was only missing one thing.

Mason was missing the confidence to actually make the choice. He found himself further into the same crossroad he had always faced, but still wasn't picking a direction! He gathered the means to evolve it in any direction but could not make up his mind which one to use! Once it evolved it cannot undo the evolution to take another path- once it evolves it is set in stone. Forever indecisive; Mason finally gave up and decided to give the choice to Eevee. Let it choose its own destiny! Or just accidentally stumble into one- he did not particularly care at this point, anything was better than nothing. He set down all of the evolutionary fragments in a circle in a field clearing and deliberately released Eevee at dusk- so it was technically both day and night at the same time, enabling both Espeon or Umbreon should it decide on either path. When he released it, it was right in the middle of the ring so it was equally spaced from each evolutionary method, so their positions did not influence his choice. He however discovered something entirely new about Eevee! As soon as it was released from the ball its body and ALL of the evolutionary fragments started to glow at the same time! Eevee unknowingly activated all of them together! He was somehow evolving into eight different things at once!!

Its entire body grew larger; its limbs longer, its torso leaner. This was shared between all of its evolutions. The fur on its tail started to rapidly fall out, but the tail itself started to grow larger and much, much longer. Thicker, sturdier and longer than any other tail- it was growing the tail of Vaporeon, but when the end forked into the wide, flat tail fin segments they became wider and flatter than normal. They grew so thin the veins in them bulged on the surface- they turned into two conjoined leaves, like Leafeon! It lashed around wildly, pulsing a bit thicker as the muscles inside squirmed around, trying to grow larger than the skin around them could contain. In jerking, twitchy movements the tail abruptly split down the middle! The end forked all the way down to its halfway point before stopping, and the leaf-fin tails regenerated so that either side had its own two-leaf fins. This was a trait of Espeon!

The bristly fur on Eevee's had grew in length but only in the middle- creating a large plume of fur on its forehead like Flareon. Also like Flareon its mane grew larger and even fluffier, except toward the back where its hairs became bristly and sharp, like a Jolteon mane! The fur on its rump became long and bristly like a Jolteon too- slightly overlapping the Vaporeon tail. Some of its forehead plume started to become encased in frost from airborne moisture, then clumped together as the frost crystal expanded and knit the hairs together- finally the front portion flopped down and formed the ice bangs of a Glaceon. It grew the flat, ribbon like antennae that Glaceon have as well, but they grew much, much too long. They grew so long they crossed over, turned around and looped over either of its shoulders, waving around on either side almost like a Suicune- Glaceon and Sylveon both have those ribbon like extensions so they both hybridized together!

Its earlobes grew gigantically like an Espeon as the ears themselves grew larger and larger. They gained bristly fur lining the outside rim of the ears like Jolteon, but the huge triangular dish shape and size of Espeon ears, but relatively small openings at the front like a Sylveon. It grew blade like leaves from its wrists and ankles but the outer edge formed into a blade of ice. The instability of its genes caused its torso to expand longer than any of them are meant to be, making its mid section longer. Then its shoulders grew longer and split, forcing its arms further forward and creating a gap in its rib cage that quickly filled itself. A second set of front limbs split off from the first, identical to them. Since it did not need six legs, two of the front legs relaxed and did not touch the ground- which two depended on which had done the more work recently. When one set got tired, it switched to the other.

Mason stood in awe of what happened to his pokemon as the evolution finished and the sun finally started to vanish behind the horizon. He was almost about to question where the Umbreon traits had gone, but as soon as the sunlight vanished- its mane, head plume and all of its leaves started to brightly glow a blue-white like moonlight. Yup, that was Umbreon. Because its evolution pulled it toward so many different types they ended up equalizing! All that effort to change its type, and ultimately it remained Normal type! Eeveon had Protean as its ability at least, which caused its type to change to match whatever attack it uses- and similar to Mew, Eeveon is able to learn almost every teachable move! Eeveon looked up at his master confidently and gave a short cry as if to ask if Mason was proud of him now. Mason just smiled and pat its head. This was not what he had in mind at all- but maybe that is exactly why it is what he needed.
