Chapter Thirteen

"Counter And Attack"

"Touchdown! For the Bears!" An announcer said as he was commenting on the game. Dash pulled over his boombox and started playing their theme song as he and my brother began dancing.

"Wha, wha, wha," It started and I watched as my brother nailed the dance steps as the crowd cheered and screamed. "Wha, wha, White." The big finish began as my brother slapped Dash five as they finished the routine. "Disaster!" The roar of the crowd was deafening and the scowls on the faces of the other team made it equally satisfying. No one cheered louder than our father did because he made it a special point to be here for the biggest and last game of the season.

"That's my son." I couldn't help but get jealous when he turned to the fans seated next to him to brag and say it to them. I had to keep kicking myself because I knew this was his special day and I knew father loved both of us but sometimes I wish I could be there with him like Dash was instead of sitting on the sidelines.

The Bearly Bears were doing great with the score being 28 to 14 and the fans were just loving my brother and their dancing. The game seemed like a sure thing because there was less than 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Only a miracle could save their opponents, The Falcons, from suffering defeat.

I saw my father stand suddenly and I turned to follow his gaze and there were several cries of concern from the crowd. An adult feline dressed in all black was pointing something at my brother! He was completely covered from head to foot in black leather so that whatever he was it hid his species and made him look like a panther, like Phil. He was pointing a gun at my brother and I jumped to my feet and yelled out trying to warn Lyon of the danger.

Our father was running out onto the field as well as security but before I could move a shot rang out and I saw something shiny hgit my brother in the neck. It looked like a needle and my brother pulled it out then started shaking his head as the fast acting tranquilizer was taking effect. Dash ran at the intruder but a second shot quickly hit him and the force threw him to the ground.

I was jumping down the steps of the outdoor bleachers as the stranger grabbed ahold of my brother, who was nearly passed out and threw him over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. Then he threw down a smoke bomb as security and our father was closing in. They charged into the smoke trying to grab him but he easily escaped as they coughed and he was gone before the smoke finally cleared.

Father was shouting and screaming at security as he looked around to find where the intruder had run. I joined as fast as I could and tried to sniff for any scent of Lyon. Unfortunately grass and the scent of body order was all I could detect and I could distinguish a few of the species but nothing concrete to lead me in the direction he had taken my brother.

My father gripped my shoulder with his hoof refusing to let me go as he screamed and called for Lyon. I tried looking for any clue to where he may have gone but I was as helpless as my father was.

"What the fuck?! What the fuck!!!" my father shouted at the guards as they searched around. "Where's my son? Didn't any of you fools see anything?!!!" He hollered then one of the security guards came over and tried to usher him inside but he was refusing to move until he found Lyon. I had to fight back tears as I rubbed my eyes as the fear of what happened hit me.

I sat on a bench in the locker room with Dash's head resting on my lap. He lay on the bench still unconscious as I supported his head and a vet spoke to my father in the coach's office. He had his cell phone out so I guessed they must have called his mother to explain what happened.

He was fine physically and as he started to awaken I shouted and waved my arms to catch my father's attention. He opened the door as I called to him.

"He's waking up." I called out as father and the coach joined us.

"Wha... what happened?" Dash asked as he rubbed his eyes and the vet helped him sit up.

"You alright son?" My father asked him and I felt another stab of jealousy that my father had referred to him as 'son' just like he did my brother and myself. Dash was like family and it really shouldn't have bothered me but I guess I was so upset that Lyon was abducted by someone.

A police officer carrying a notebook joined us and began to interview us concerning the case. He was in plain clothes so I think he was a detective because he wore a suit rather than the regular cop's outfit. He was making careful notes as he asked us individually to tell what we experienced. He had a look in his eyes as if when he was tolds the events as each of us experienced them that he was skeptical that we were telling the truth.

Will ran in and to my surprise he hugged me and told me he was sorry my brother was abducted. He showed a badge he carried and began to go over the notes with the detective. He grudgingly shared them with Will but it was clear he didn't trust him.

"Can you think of anyone that would want to harm him?" the detective asked.

"Well in fairness he is a rare white fur lion so there are numerous species that hate him because of his fur color." Father replied.

"Any death threats or threats in general?"

"Ben tried to cubnap him for some reason." Dash replied weakly.

"What?" I replied and looked at my father as he folded his arms across his chest.

"When did this happen?" My father asked.

"Yesterday. He tried to grab him but we called for backup from the Varsity guys that like us and they beat him up."

"They must have beat him up, badly. If they didn't, I'd kill him myself." I replied then my father cleared his throat and I realized what I had said in front of the detective. I lowered my ears but ther detective didn't seem to care.

"Who is this student?" he asked.

"Benyamin Panthera-T he's a white tiger like I am and is, er was my boyfriend." I replied and my father was sternly looking at me but said nothing. I could read his mind and sensed his disapproval for some reason. I wanted to respond but I knew better by the look he was giving me. He was going to have a long talk with me later and I felt my ears lower even more.

"So you two broke up?" My father asked as we returned to my room.

"It's... complicated."

"Complicated... how?" he asked and though his tone was kept soft I could feel the tension building as his disapproval was evident.

"Long story short, he said he wanted to spend some time apart because he wasn't sure if I loved him. After all the time we spent together I just can't believe he doesn't know how I feel." I said defensively.

"Have either of you been in a relationship before?" he asked and his question felt like a trap! My mind began to think rapidly for a way to respond in which I wouldn't get caught. It was time to use my skill to turn the trick against him. We were playing mental chess and I wasn't about to lose. I would need to sacrifice a few pawns to set the board up the way I wanted it.

"Not that I'm aware but then there seems to be things that I don't fully know about." I replied.

"Then of course there are things you both won't know about each other. Nobody goes into these things knowing everything about their partner. It's a learning curse and it takes time to get to know each other before you can open up completely.

Remember when I told you about how your dad and I like to tie each other up and pretend one is the master and one is the slave? Neither one of us knew we liked that until we tried it the first time. There were other games we tried and some we liked and some we hated. Some your dad liked and I hated and vice versa. The point is we had to try and experiment until we found what we liked and hated." He was right, as always, and I could feel him putting me in check. I needed to turn this around fast.

"How did you know you loved each other?"

"We didn't, well not at first, we actually hated each other... well I hated your dad and he was indifferent to me. As far as I knew we had no feelings for each other until one day when I got hurt during gym class.

He carried me like a newborn fawn into the locker room. I was completely helpless as this Predator held me. I looked into his eyes expecting to see pity but instead I saw something else, I saw compassion. I don't know what came over me but I kissed him then we both knew. We wanted to be together after that and it's been a battle. I won't lie and tell you our relationship was easy. It takes time for us to reach the point we are at now and we still don't know everything but the one thing we do know is that we love each other and we won't let the other go over petty arguments.

Do you know how many times your dad has pissed me off by acting like a puppy? Do you know the number of times he's tied me to the bed when I've had a raging boner and he leaves me there helpless while he goes into the other room and watches The Power Fur Rangers? Which reminds me I still need to get him back for that last time.

The truth is that we love each other and that's the bottom line. Nothing else matters but that and that love is what has kept us together." he finished and I wanted to curse as I realized he had checkmated me.

Lou returned home and went to his study to boot up his computer. He used his hoof to caress a picture of Leggo he was keeping on his desk. He felt his member trying to swell up and the discomfort of the cage he was wearing. When he talked about having a raging hard on to his son he was glad the cage prevented him from popping a woody. Because not only was he so horny but it would be so embarrassing to try and talk to his boy while his one eyed monster stood at attention.

He tried pushing the thoughts aside as he wanted to stay focused to the task at hand. He had dug a huge pit. Now let's see if a bear will fall into it.

WLuver45

I, you on?

ICEiceBAEbe

Yes, what's the good word?

WLuver45

Have you heard the news?

ICEiceBAEbe

No

WLuver45

That white lion was cubnapped by someone.

ICEiceBAEbe

WHAT???!!!!

Lou posted a couple of articles that mentioned the attack at the school. He waited a few minutes before asking if he knew anything about it. Bear denied knowing which gave Lou a chance to tell him that his son was a robot and he learned this after he managed to hack into The Brotherhood of The Snake's website.

ICEiceBAEbe

How did you find this?

WLuver45

I have connections. They're entire set up is listed here and I'm working on hacking their membership list then I'll know who each and every one of them is.

ICEiceBAEbe

Amazing. Anything about the cub getting cubnapped on there?

WLuver45

Nothing but since the white lion and the white tiger are confirmed to be robots that belong to a certain member of the 12 Alphas, I don't think they'd cubnap their own creations. I think someone else caught on to their plans and stepped in not realizing what they truly are.

ICEiceBAEbe

What's the key so I can check out the site?

Lou smiled as Bear took the bait. He quickly passed the key to accessing the fake site to him so he could begin searching. The only odd thing was that Bear seemed unaware of the cubnapping but he wasn't sure if it was a bluff or did he really know nothing about it? If he hadn't cubnapped Lyon then he must have had spies watching since he seemed so interested in him. Why had the spies failed to pass him the Intel on what happened at the game?

WLuver45

Let me know what you think. I'm close to unlocking it's hidden secrets.

ICEiceBAEbe

I can't believe you hacked it, you're like genius or something.

WLuver45

The biggest flaw was the update to keep their software functioning. I just bypassed the updates and was able to sneak in to an earlier point when the firewall was vulnerable."

ICEiceBAEbe

I never knew you could do that

WLuver45

Cub's play, I was hoping for a real challenge.

ICEiceBAEbe

I'll let you know what I find.

WLuver45

Sweet. Give me another day or two and I'll be able to tell you who the 12 Alphas are. I might be even able to find out who the Gold Dragon is

Merrik stood by waiting for the rest of the team to enter so he could start the morning meeting. Lou leaned against the wall and glared at him even though he was trying to pretend not to. He kept as far away from him as possible and Merrik respected his wish but at the same time wondered what he was up to.

He wouldn't trust the deer as far as he could pick up a house with his bare paws and throw it. The deer had been quiet, too quiet and Merrik wondered what he was up to. He was sure he was hatching a plan but as the last agent entered he had no more time to waste on the deer. He had to begin the meeting.

"Attention everyone!" he shouted as the room immediately quieted and Lou turned his gaze to look at him with his eyes burning with disgust.

"We have less than two weeks until we send in our agents to The White Citadel. As of yet we have no concrete plan on how the operation is to commence. There is no time to waste second guessing each other, we need to pick a strategy now and begin implementing it before the final few days run out." Merrik stated. There were murmurs among the agents but Merrik kept his gaze on Lou even though he tried to conceal it. Lou watched the room but remained silent as he continued leaning with his arms folded.

"How is progress on modifying the hearing aids?" Erold, a tan and white boxer with black around his mouth and eyes asked. He had been trying to follow up with Lou on the technical aspects of the upcoming mission and Lou had been avoiding him as much as possible. Lou didn't want to give away too many of his secrets.

"Well tech-man?" Merrik mocked. He had been calling Lou tech-man not only because he was their acting technical expert in electronics but also because it got under his pelt when he called him that. The agents turned to look at him waiting for his answer. Lou continued to lean against the wall in silence defiance as he just watched the agents watching him. The mood had become an uncomfortable silence.

"Mr. Cervus-D," Erold finally said, breaking the silence and attempting to savage the meeting. He decided to show some respect in order to get Lou to cooperate. "Have you been able to further modify the hearing aids?"

"Not successfully. I've looked at modifying them but if I add anything else they will be too big to fit into an ear and still be considered hearing aids. I can remove some of the tech but it would limit their function to do only 1 task. I can turn them only into trackers or only into something else but should The White Citadel have something to block what I turn them into then they become useless." Lou retorted.

"How about hiding different components on their clothing or shoes?" Another agent that Lou didn't recognize asked.

"Again, we don't know much about the indoctrination ceremony Bear mentioned. He may require the agents to strip down to their fur before transport back to the White Citadel. He may require them to get scanned and what if their sensors detect the presence of tracers or wires." Lou reminded them.

"I think we're overthinking things. Everything I hear is 'what if' and 'what if' but all these could be just shooting ourselves in the foot." an agent remarked. There were again murmurs among the group.

"The problem, gentlemen and lady, is that 'I' am one of the agents going in. Now put yourselves in my place, do you trust your own lives on the ideas you keep coming up with? We have only one shot left and if we blow it; its game over!" Merrik retorted.

"Since none of you value my input I'll refrain from offering my advice. Just tell me what you want done and I'll do it. Only my husband is the second agent and unless you have a foolproof plan that can guarantee his safety I will not allow him to go on this mission."

"Alright, divide yourselves into groups and we'll meet again after lunch to discuss your final ideas and pick which to implement." Merrik ordered and the agents began to talk among themselves and filter into groups. Merrik walked over to Lou bypassing the others.

"You seem to be in quite the mood today. What's wrong pawing off is not effective enough anymore?" Merrik smiled after his snide comment but Lou ignored him.

"My son was cubnapped from his game yesterday. Was it you or The White Citadel that took him?" Lou demanded.

"If I tell you it was us, then what?" Merrik asked and Lou opened his eyes in surprise briefly then narrowed them as he stared at Merrik with pure hatred showing on his face.

"I dunno, let's ask his dad what he thinks of you doing this?!" Lou tried to keep his voice level but it was quickly taking on the edge of hatred he was displaying.

"Why not have my other nephew turn himself over to us and we'll reunite him with his brother and keep them safe. I want the best for my nephews after all." Merrik smiled and Lou fought the urge to punch him. He was sure Merrik could handle him easily but even if he failed it would be satisfying to at least try.

"So even after my husband gave in to your demands you still take our boys as hostages?"

"More of an insurance policy to guarantee your cooperation. We're too close to allow slip ups now. I need you, we need you to make this mission a success."

"I want to see my son!"

"All in due time. Right now you and the others have ideas to present to guarantee my safety and that of both your husband and your son."

Tyger lay on his bed when his phone rang and as he checked the caller ID he didn't recognize the number.

"Hello?" he answered.

"I have your brother," the voice said and judging by the tone Tyger guessed a voice scrambler was used. "If you want to guarantee his safety you'll meet me in the parking lot of your school with your boyfriend. A black van will be waiting and it will have a white unicorn painted on it. Both of you will enter and you'll be taken to your brother. If you refuse you'll never see your brother again. If you tell anyone about this, other than your boyfriend, then you'll never see him again. Do you understand?"

"Yes sir." Tyger said, trying to hide the bitterness in his voice. The call ended and he dialed Ben's number.

"Ya," Ben replied, his voice lacking any mirth.

"Hey, can you come over here?"

"Why?" he asked.
