Ret, a simple scavenger and merchant at his tribe, one day stumbles upon a rare medallion with an ominous crystal in the center, flowing with dark magic. He quickly finds himself thrown into an ancient temple and along his quest is captured by a gadgetized dragoness who seeks the powerful Orb of Mirrors within. Lost in a world unlike any he's ever known, he'll have to adapt and overcome the challenges and learn to cooperate with his new companion, whether they want to work together or not.

The flickering of his amber torch glowed softly over the old stones covering the interior of the buried temple, the soft pitter-patter of rain from the surface above dimly heard as he ventured onwards. He nearly jumped as a drop of water seeped through a crack in the roof and splashed on his head, noticing the opening above him before gazing at something written on the stone hallway. Bringing the flame from his torch closer, he squinted at the strange language etched into the rock as he tried to make sense of it. Letting out a hum of curiosity, he quickly began dusting off the covered markings, the thick smell of wet earthy dirt filling his senses as he stared in wonder at what sort of race could have made this ancient tomb.

"What is this place..." He thought aloud, his heart seeming to beat faster as he began to realize that whatever was in this place must have been locked away for centuries from all the broken architecture and ancient writing inside. Refocusing, he studied the forgien language, taking note of each letter ending at sharp points, creating what he could only assume was some sort of warning for the room to come. He then took a slow step back, glancing over to the turn in the hallway, dimly illuminated by the fire on his stick before speaking to himself aloud, "Come on, Ret. We can do this. We have to." Feeling his heart clench as both apprehension and wonder flowed through his veins, he pushed onwards, checking around him now and then to look for any sort of traps like the ones he'd seen in movies.

As he turned around the corner, he was stopped in his tracks, met with a large chamber illuminated from the cascading light filtering in from above, casting down upon a raised altar with an ominous floating cube slowly rotating in the center. He carefully approached the altar, checking the stones before his feet for trip wires or fake plates, but despite the unworldliness of such a fantasy-like temple hidden beneath his homeland, it seemed dormant and still, as if it was waiting for someone to awaken it. 'This is so unlike anything I've ever seen... Better be careful...'

Once he felt confident enough, he slowly made his way up to the pedestal, taking notice of each of the four stone talons curving down from a separate corner of the dome-like room towards the enchanted object floating spinning quietly, resting between their talons. It almost felt like it meant something, like the ancient beings who once put this here, while they were long gone, still held their most prized possession in their claws even now. He could swear he felt a strong power radiating from it and yet, both trying to draw him closer and yet push him away. But at the same time, something felt wrong about it all... 'It feels like I don't belong here... But if I'm the only one with the object to enter... I can't just turn away.' Remaining strong and taking a deep breath, he pulled out the object in his satchel, hand clasping it like a fragile gem.

In the soft glow of the moonlight, he pulled out the mysterious medallion, looking over the feral dragon curled around a purple crystal resting in the center of the circle, a black mist swirling amongst the magical stone. He thought back to the moment he first found the amulet, having ventured into a ravine on his travel back from the Farlands, noticing a faint wisp of smoke rising from below near a waterfall crashing down below. He was astonished to find a destroyed camp below, tents ripped to shreds along with corpses from perhaps earlier that day slumped over in defeat. He felt sick to his stomach at the sight, unable to believe what he was seeing, but something about it all made him curious. Perhaps he could find some treasure here to sell if he could ignore the bodies. He spent about thirty minutes searching the camp, loading his bag with interesting trinkets before venturing to the foot of the waterfall to clean his hands. He had tried to figure out what had happened and why as he scanned the camp, but all he could gather was that some creature had ambushed them and from the looks of it, left none alive to tell the tale.

With these thoughts circling in his head, he returned to his feet, gazing up at the setting sun cresting over the mountains as he threw his satchel over his shoulder. But just as he took a stretch to prepare for the journey back, a bright glint from the water caught his attention, causing him to blink curiously. He looked over the lake, trying to see what had caught his eye before slowly sitting down once more to try and catch the ray of light reflected from a second ago. It took a moment, but he eventually caught the glint of the sun once more, shining from something resting at the base of the lake. Taking off some of his heavy armor and bag once more, he carefully made his way into the water, blocking the mist from the waterfall from his eyes before leaning down to try and grab the object. It took a few minutes of sifting through useless rocks and mud, but when his finger bumped into something hard and cold, feeling some sort of stone carving in the small object, he quickly brought it out from the water. He gasped at the seemingly expensive and mysterious object, a medallion with a western dragon curled around the purple crystal in the center. It only took a second for him to notice the odd black swirls of something within the gem flowing almost like black dye in water. Trying to clean it off, he ran his thumb over the crystal, cleaning off the dirt that had started to form over the artifact.

But just as he touched the stone, he let out a wail of pain, images flashing through his mind at the touch of it. He saw images of war, an older and younger boy, fearful as they ran, pictures of the taller figure dying and the smaller one collapsing in front of a great metal door... A group of bandits searching the small child, taking from their hand the same medallion he now held, leaving the kid to die alone. Then, a long pause, zoomed in on the door with words etched within his mind, seeming to call out to him.

FIND IT

It then gave a brief flash of a patch of blue flowers, instantly seeming to awaken some sort of recognition of where the location of the door may be, but only able to rest on that thought for a moment before a splitting headache hit him, causing him to wince.

It only lasted a few seconds before it was over, snapping out of the trance as he caught himself from falling into the water, stabilizing himself. Clutching the pendant close, finger now resting over the gem, he found himself flabbergasted with fear, overwhelmed as he tried to make sense of it all. Eventually, once he had returned home and was able to focus, he'd asked the healer of his tribe if she knew anything of the blue flowers he'd envisioned, remembering something about the healer using flowers for her remedies. She confirmed that she'd use them for gathering rare herbs for the tribe, and while he felt a wave of relief knowing she did know about where they were, he couldn't help but feel apprehensive, wondering if he ventured there if he'd end up like the bodies at the campsite from earlier. He spent the night in his room, pondering about it all, gazing into the dark crystal. He had scavenged many things before to sell at gatherings and markets, but this clearly wasn't any old trinket. Was he in the right to try and keep it for himself, or perhaps he was already being hunted just by having such an object...

When he awoke the next morning, he knew that he wouldn't be able to just ignore the images of the door, his curiosity pushing him forwards despite the potential dangers that may come along with it. He left that night, searching around the glowing blue flowers the healer had told him of for multiple hours, and just when he almost gave up, he noticed a small crack in the cliff face behind some vines nearly hiding the entrance from sight, just enough for a human to squeeze through. He slowly made his way inside, astonished at the sight of a small forest hidden within, covered in the same ocean-blue flowers from outside. His gaze was quickly drawn forwards, instantly remembering this area from the pictures in his mind, finding with a pit in his stomach the large metal door yawning out before him in the wall of the cliff, a small lifeless body rotting away resting at the foot of the temple.

Ret approached the door, now overgrown with lush greenery covering it, noticing a small slot shaped like the amulet he possessed, resting in the center. He promptly pulled out the stone from his satchel and placed it in the hole, watching as the entrance came to life, pulling back each metal plate like some sort of machine until the cavern before him revealed itself. As he entered, he found an unlit torch resting on the wall, pulling it off and using his lighter to set it aflame before venturing within. It still felt nerve wracking to be inside a place such as this, seemingly forgotten and lost to time, but with the treasure held within just before his grasp, he knew there was no way he could turn back now.

'Yeah, I can't back away. I'm not sure what this is or why I found it, but I can do this...' He muttered to himself in his mind, returning back to the present moment at the altar as he pulled out the amulet. Unexpectedly, the medallion began to tremble in his palms, calling out to the cube and seeming to even let out a soft hiss as he drew closer to the object. The pendant then began to sprout forth concentrated wisps of black magic, slowly reaching out with black tendrils from within the gem in the center out into the room, reaching for the floating object. Taken aback, he nearly dropped the trinket before letting out a grunt, feeling a surge of fear. 'No... it's okay... It's worth it.' Despite the sight of the seemingly demonic vines reaching towards the cube from his hands, he took another step forward until eventually, the pendant leaped out of his hands from the pull of the cube, suddenly freezing in the air inches before the artifact. He could only watch as the dark tendrils slowly began to form a blanket of void over the cube until it was completely swallowed up and hidden from view within, seeming to mend with the metal, coating it in shadow.

Before he could really process what was happening, the trinket from the lake shattered the metal dragon once encircling it, leaving only the glowing purple gem floating before him as it began to awaken the treasure within, bringing the cube to life. He could feel the connection of the two pushing him away physically, like two positive magnets pushing the other away when they drew too close, causing him to back up into the wall at the edge of the room as he watched black and purple spirals envelop the cube before it finally began unraveling much like the door from outside.

Each plate pulled back on itself, unlocking until the whole exterior cube casing collapsed, sucked into what he could only assume was a mini blackhole resonating within the crystal. Then, with a dark and low thud, the gem fell lifelessly onto the ground, completely black and seemingly empty. Just as this happened, a red forcefield formed around the room, flickering to life as it locked him inside. He looked over to the shield in confusion and fear, but even as he was trapped in the room, it seemed the biggest concern of it all was what the crystal had revealed inside the cube, a bright humming seeming to resonate from the altar.

He turned back his attention to the pedestal, only now realizing the claws from the corner of the room were now alite with glowing purple letters much like the inscribings from the words in the hall, all curving towards a black orb now floating above the altar, a small purple flame swirling within. He cautiously approached the object, picking it up when he dared to, preparing to run out if the temple started to collapse as he'd seen in stories. But instead it simply gave in to his touch, the soft humming falling silent along with the markings above him along the claws, dimming once more, leaving only the small ball in the palm of his hands. He looked at the tennis-ball sized orb, noticing the violet flicker of fire within forming a sort of window as he stared at it, slowly forming into his reflection in what he could only assume was some sort of magical mirror inside.

He stood there for a few minutes trying to make sense of everything, the magical room and forcefield, but after looking around the room for an escape and finding none, he simply waited, stuffing the orb inside his backpack while he picked up the black crystal in his palm from the floor. He stayed in the room for what felt like hours, but just as he was examining the depleted object, a feminine voice spoke up from behind him, causing him to jump at the sudden break of silence. "Ah, there we are."

He raised his head up to find a crimson feral dragoness before him, an ice-blue eye on her right with a green mechanical eye narrowing down on his body, a pleasured smile forming on her face at the sight of him. Her body was covered in metal contraptions, all attached to different limbs. Straps around her beige wings were plated, thruster engines attached to each of them. Her metal talons scraped their jagged edges against the floor as she approached, a bubbling jar of dark green poison along with a scorpion dagger affixed to the end of her tail, pointing towards him threateningly over her body. He slowly backed up against the altar as she tapped on a bracelet on her arm, causing the forcefield to fall, leaving nothing between her and her prey.

"W-wait! Who... who are you? What do you want?"

She scoffed at his words, maw drawn back to reveal her sharp teeth, "Listen, you know what I'm here for. Just hand it over and we can go our separate ways." She wasted no time, approaching him one step after another, the distance between them waning. Then, her once confident gaze shifted for a moment to something more serious and almost somber before returning to a sharp glare, "Actually, you know what? I've wasted too much time trusting people. I don't want to do this, but I'm not willing to fuck this up... Not again."

"Wait, STO-" Before he could finish his sentence, she slammed the side of her barbed tail against his head, knocking him into the altar as he let out a hard gasp, breath drawn out of him as his vision began to fade. She growled back tauntingly, Ret only able to watch as the black crystal from his hand rolled out onto the floor, the female quickly snatching it up as she examined it. 'No... am I dying? Please no...'

As she plucked it up in her grasp, she looked down at his frail form, smiling tauntingly, "Oh, you asked my name, didn't you? The name's Flicker. Thanks for doing the job for me." Despite how far he'd come, it seemed in the end, he was powerless to stop her, and eventually blacked out before the dragoness, his senses leaving him before falling into an endless sleep.

....................................................................

The first thing he could feel was his throbbing forehead, the world seeming to spin around him as he slowly regained consciousness. He inhaled a sharp breath, trying to pull himself off the cold stone floor before feeling some sort of restraint wrapped around his leg. It only took a few moments for his eyes to adjust to the dim light within the cavern, a blue fire swaying and licking at the air in the middle of the chamber before him, leading to a tunnel on the other side of the room. He glanced down at the chilling metal around his leg, gasping at the thick chains clasped onto a loop laying around his ankle, connecting to the wall behind him. He gave a tug, his heart racing once more as he looked over his naked form, feeling his exposed member and balls pressing against the stone along with his bare chest. "Fuck, I'm naked. Shit!" Trying to focus, he slowly got to his knees, pushing his legs together to try and hide his crotch, feeling so exposed as he tried to make sense of where he was.

Just as he was starting to regather himself, the dragoness he'd met earlier walked into the room around the bend in the tunnel before him, noticing the absence of her armor and gadgets now that she had taken him to what he could only assume as her lair. She looked a lot more slender and feminine without them, leaving only her mechanical eye over her face, wrapped around her horns to keep it in place. She had her tail curled around the blackened crystal, only now making him wonder if she'd found the orb as well! To his relief, he located his satchel along with his clothes in a pile beside a wooden table to the left of him, a small bump in the bag from the round object within. 'Okay, it's still there... I need to get out of here somehow...'

The annoyed huff from the female caught his attention, instinctively backing up as she walked towards him. She shook her head in thought, glancing back at him before raising the crystal in her grasp, showing it to him. "What did you do to this?" She asked him, glaring daggers as she searched his gaze for an answer.

"I... I didn't do anything."

"Bullshit. I know these crystals contain powers within, so don't you for a second think I'll fall for that." She paused, growling low before lashing her tail with her grip, "I've been waiting for years for someone to come along with the power to open that old temple. I set up that red barrier you saw, waiting for the ruins to come to life so I could trap whoever unlocked the object inside for me to retrieve it effortlessly." She then held up the crystal once more, motioning to it with her muzzle as she gazed at it, "I've tried draining the power within the crystal as I've done to the others, but... it's like it's been sapped of its energy!" She stomped her paw on the ground, seething as she narrowed her eyes at him, "Just tell me what you've done to it and I'll let you go. I don't want to hurt you, so don't force me."

He held his mouth open, grasping for some words, trying to think of what to say. 'She's using the gems to power her gadgets... But she doesn't know about the orb... What do I do?' Still, if the artifact was that powerful, he surely couldn't give it up... Maybe he could lie? "I honestly don't know. I did find it, yes, but it's always been like that since I found it."

She bared her fangs at him, placing the crystal on the ground before moving closer, wings starting to flare, "No, that's not true. It can't be. Stop lying to me! I've been trying to overpower that gate since I first found it... I know what the crystals can do. Tell me the truth, god damnit!"

He let out a gasp as he backed up against the wall, feeling the cold chains against his naked body, letting out a scared whimper as she towered over him. She was only twice his size, but it was still enough to strike fear into him. "Please, stop! I..." He felt the urge to tell her, his heart strings curling in knots, body shaking as she brought her muzzle inches from his face, her hot breath wafting against him, "Okay, listen! I don't understand what's going on. All I know is I found this crystal and it told me to go to the temple!"

"Look into my eyes and tell me you didn't find anything inside." She growled loudly, wings splayed out above him, fire hissing in the back of her throat.

He tried to remain still, heart thumping out of his chest as he found himself unable to answer, "I... I... I can't."

She tilted her head in anger, flexing her talons as she raised her paw in preparation to strike, teeth bared and tail raised. But just as it looked like she'd attack him, something flashed in her eyes, a somber thought crossing her vision as her body seemed to grow still. It only lasted a second before she shook her head, letting out a loud roar in annoyance and pain, rearing back on her hind legs before swerving to the side and crashing her forepaws onto the ground, tail slamming onto the stone. "FUCK! You! You... Just... " She stuttered over her words, looking at her forepaw for a moment before yelling, "Why are you making this so difficult! Just..."

She then let out a large sigh, ears pulling back as her tail fell to the ground slowly as she choked out, "Please... I've been waiting my whole fucking life for this day, to find this... I really don't want to hurt you. I just..." She then stopped herself, seeming to hold back something, looking at him. Her once vicious gaze had now turned almost somber, a pleading look in them before looking back at her talons, "I'm trying to save somebody I love, and the only way I can do that is with the crystal."

She then fell silent, lost in thought as he looked over her and tried to make sense of it all. He could nearly feel a whirlwind of emotions flowing through both her, realizing for the first time that whoever this dragon was, she had something she was fighting for, perhaps even noble from the sound of it. Yet even with a noble cause, did that make kidnapping him right? "What makes this crystal so different from the others?" He spoke up, trying to understand and perhaps get on her good side while he tried to think of a way to escape.

She didn't answer at first, thinking to herself as she seemed to be lost in thought before admitting, "...It holds the power to change bodies. The ancient dragons used it to transform into other species, to create a bond between races by mending different species into one, but now that they're gone, the crystals have laid dormant in the temples, waiting for the ancients to return. From what I can gather, they were only used by the leaders of the tribe, and so the tomb that held the object within was locked with some sort of key needed for entry only held by the leaders of the tribes... and it seems you found one." She then paused once more, turning back around to look at him and the crystal lying on the ground back where she left it, "I've waited so long to find this, to have a chance at... " She hesitated, seeming to bite back the thought as she let out a soft hum.

"To have a chance at what?" He asked hesitantly.

Her ears pulled back at the thought, wings pulling to her side as she seemed to hold back her words. After a long pause, she let out a light growl in annoyance to herself, looking away, "To have a chance at saving my brother." She then glanced back at him, gazing into his eyes as she tried to search him for something before making her way over to the drained gem, picking it up with a talon. She moved it around in her talons before slowly sitting down, curling her tail around her talons as she began, "I lost him eight years ago while my family was away. I was supposed to look after him, to make sure he didn't wander far from the cavern, but..." She gripped the gem tightly in her paw, closing her eyes, "He was hurt and captured by humans. All I heard was a yell but by the time I arrived at the lake where I left him, he was caged, knocked out behind metal bars and loaded onto a cart by the hunters. I tried to save him, to somehow fight off the group of them... but they shot me with an arrow... right in my eye."

He unconsciously held his breath as she turned her mechanical emerald eye to look at him, the lens over the end of it seeming to grow and shrink as it zoomed inwards and outwards before she glanced away once more. "I tried to run after them, but I couldn't see or focus through the pain and the blood. They left me to die... But by some miracle I survived." She dipped her head down to peer at the key, holding the crystal to her chest, "I considered attacking them, or trying to sneak inside their cities to try and find him... but there was no way I could fight through all of them, let alone a whole city. If I did, they'd most likely strike me down and capture me just as they did to my brother." She then paused, twirling the gem in her tail as she continued.

"So, to overpower them, I learned how to make machines. I made gadgets and trinkets to help me fight back even when my own natural strength would falter. I have spent my life hoping to one day save him. It was only one night when I finally found the temple you'd just opened today that, written on the wall beside the entrance in old draconic text, spoke of an object within granting the ability to change bodies. Knowing this, I set up a detection barrier around the facility so that whoever activated what was inside would be trapped, and that's how I got you. In the end, if I can become a human, I can blend in and have a much better chance at infiltrating wherever he was taken and rescue him without someone trying to kill me."

She let out a sigh, asking him as he looked over her, "I know I captured you, and I'm sorry I'm asking this, but I need that... thing you got from the temple. I need your body to save him. Then, once I get him back I'll let you go... I have to do this, so please tell me what happened."

It was a lot to take in, the fact he'd been kidnapped, scared witless by this dragoness and then told the story of why she was so bent on getting the crystals, but now that it made sense, he couldn't help but feel sympathy for her. Still, he had his own life. "What are you asking me? To... change bodies with me?"

"Yes. It's the only way I can save him. You'll be in my body, and you can stay here in my cave. I have a large territory, so you'd be safe."

He looked her over, trying to gauge how honest she was being, "How do I know you won't turn on me? I mean, you literally knocked me out and kidnapped me."

She huffed, nodding and letting out a soft growl, "Trust me, I'm not happy with some human boy being in my body... but the words I'd read on the wall told me we could feel each other's pain. If I was to hurt you, I'd feel it as well. Besides, you won't be taking my body forever, so I wouldn't have any reason to wound myself in the first place. All I ask is that you don't go kill yourself while I'm away, as that wouldn't help either of us."

"Do... do I have a choice?"

She looked over him, seeming to almost size him up, "While it would be very inconvenient for me to find another human... I suppose I could find another human if need be. But you still aren't leaving till you tell me what you've done to the crystal."

It felt crazy to think about losing his body, to have to leave behind his life, making him instinctively want to ask for her to find someone else, but just before he said it, he realized what an opportunity he was being given. She was wanting to make him a dragon! He'd taken a fascination for the rare species for as long as he could remember, so if he was able to be a dragon himself, even if only for a few years... how could he turn that down? He'd have a safe place to stay after all, and in the end he would turn back into a human and go back to his normal life once it was all said and done. 'This is crazy... Finding this crystal has literally flipped my life upside down...'

After a moment of thinking, only now realizing she'd been waiting for a response, he finished, nodding to himself as if he was still trying to reason and convince himself it was the correct choice, "Okay. I'll do it."

She froze, blinking in surprise, "Wait... you will?"

He hesitated for a moment, perhaps reconsidering before answering, "Yeah. I can't lie, I've taken an interest in dragons for a while. Being a dragon for a while would be pretty crazy, but I think I'd like that. I don't really have a life, mostly just scavenging things to sell at the market. Besides, you seem to be fighting for something, and I doubt many other humans would willingly help you."

She let out a sigh, her body seeming to relax slightly, "Thank you. Now please, tell me what happened at the temple."

..........................................................................

He spent the next ten minutes explaining it all, telling her about the door and the orb, feeling a twinge of doubt in his brain as he wondered if this was the right decision to be making, but he knew in the end it would be worth it, even if he had to be away from his normal life for a while. Once he finished, she nodded, looking over to his bag before grabbing it and slowly pulling out the orb. She gazed at it in disbelief, breathing out, "I can't believe the thing I've been fighting for my whole life... is right in front of me. I've done it."

He watched her, gazing over it longingly before he spoke up, the hairs on his body standing up, "I don't mean to interrupt, but can I get unchained and clothed again? It's kinda cold."

She glanced back at him, seeming to hold back a few words as she nodded and carefully placed the ball back down before retrieving the key. She carefully let him out, watching as he kept his legs together purposefully. She huffed, smiling slightly as she undid his restraints, "You know, it's not like I've never seen a cock before. I did already see it when I undressed you." He blushed at the thought of it, knowing she was right, speaking up as he only now thought of it.

"So, why did you undress me in the first place?"

"Honestly? It makes people feel more vulnerable when they're naked or defenseless before the predator. You can think of it as a mechanism to scare someone into submission." She explained, stepping back as she released him, using her tail to motion to the clothes. "Get dressed. I already have a plan of attack, but that will be in the morning. For now, I want to switch bodies to get used to yours and then leave in the morning."

He quickly pulled on his clothes, still feeling flustered before the dragoness as he pulled on his underwear and jeans, asking as she watched him dress, "Hey, can you stop looking?"

"You do realize I'm going to be in your body in a moment. I'll literally have your dick. If it makes you feel better... " She then sighed, looking over herself, "You'll have my vagina in a bit as well. But don't you fucking get herpes while I'm away! I swear if you've somehow gotten pregnant after only a few days-"

"What? No, I wouldn't do that!" He stopped her, feeling a dark blush over his cheek as he only now realized that he would be a female as well!

"Uh huh?" She glared slightly, taking a look at his hardening erection before he slipped it into his pants, "Listen, I know how guys are, and you're most likely going to try and get off once I leave, but just don't get anything messy. It's humiliating enough I have to be a useless human male to save my brother, but that doesn't mean I want you ruining my reputation along the way."

After he was fully clothed, she raised the orb in her talons between them both and began chanting some sacred words from a scroll she had kept, lying on the table by his bag, the purple mirror within the crystal ball forming once more in the flames as she spoke. It was then that the object inside began to rotate, spinning faster as her words rang out into the dimly lit room, his head growing dizzy as he stared into it. He could almost feel a pull tugging at his consciousness, watching as the reflection within began to flicker between his human form and the dragoness standing before him. It was only after she finished that she too began to grow weary and in mere seconds the two of them blacked out, falling onto their sides.

He woke up moments later, letting out a groan as he cursed, "Fauthk. Huh?" His eyes shot open at the unfamiliar voice echoing back at him, the words he tried to say coming out jumbled. The first thing he noticed was the green glint in his left eye, the mechanical sphere seeming to function just like a normal eye. As he gazed out through his new vision, he hauntingly found his body laying where he once fell moments ago now rising with a groan of their own as they awoke. Ret quickly looked over his body, astonished that it had actually worked as he watched his tail flick in excitement as if to its own accord. His former voice spoke back to him, turning his attention back to Flicker now within his body.

"Yes... Yes, it actually worked! Fuck yeah!" She exclaimed, then stopping herself as she seemingly was shocked by her own voice as well. She then seemed to glance down at her crotch instinctively in curiosity before looking over to her previous form. "Huh, it is weird to look at myself from the outside. And to be a male as well... You alright?"

He slowly tried getting to his feet- err, paws, noticing quickly the difference in his limbs as he attempted to stand. It took a moment, but after the pain from the transfer began to wear off, he found himself on all fours, looking over to her, "Yath.. Ah!" He inhaled sharply, looking over himself and shaking his head in confusion as to why his words weren't coming out as he expected.

"Ah, I see! That's amusing." She raised an eyebrow sarcastically, watching him struggle to form words as he tried talking aloud, "Seems that having a forked tongue may take some getting used to before you can easily form sentences again." He paused, only now feeling a warm breeze from the fire drift under his tail and over the seemingly smooth nether regions of his, causing him to gasp. He lifted his tail for a moment, curling his head around to get a look at his new vagina, lost for words and somewhat aroused by the sight of having such female genitalia. He- no, she - could feel a growing need within her vent, an emptiness seeming to grow as her lips clenched tightly around one another, her pheromones filling the room.

Flicker spoke up, bringing her attention away from her new body as the human suddenly clasped the orb, "Wait, no. No no no no!" The orb slowly began to darken, the power within fading as the transformation completed until it became black and lifeless as the crystal did before. He began to quickly chant back the words from before, hoping to perhaps turn back into his body before the magic was drained, but it did no good, and he was left looking over his old dragoness form in shock. "It's... it's gone. This... is permanent. No."

Ret spoke up, her head dipping down, "Wath?" She paused for a moment, still only mumbling out her thoughts with her new tongue, looking down at the orb in disbelief as she tried to come to terms with it all.

"I... I think so." Flicker pondered to herself, looking over the orb longingly before continuing, straightening himself, "Well, we can't change bodies for now it seems, but I can still find out what happened to my brother. He has to be alive, out there somewhere." It was only then that he let out a masculine moan, his hand gripping his shirt as he spoke up, nodding, "Oh yeah, there is one more thing about this. There is a price, but it's nothing bad."

Despite the confusion she felt, the threat of never being able to turn back into her old form again looming in the back of her mind, she couldn't argue much right now, and for some reason her body was trying to convince her this was right. Flicker spoke up, "The inscribings on the wall mentioned having to bring a reunion of the bodies once every week as the separation of the original hosts can drain the physical form if separated for too long. I honestly wasn't sure what that all meant but... I think I know what it meant now..."

As their heat grew, it seemed their inhibitions left them, the whole idea of being stuck as a dragoness seeming to sound more and more desirable as her heat grew. Even Flicker began growing aroused, perhaps forced by the magic now intertwined with their forms, left to watch as he began pulling off his shirt, "Listen, I don't want to have sex with you or anything, but I can't help it. Let's just get this over with so we can focus on finding my brother, then we can worry about changing back and everything afterwards."

Ret backed up, feeling so confused and uncertain as she had no intention to have sex with him before, let alone his own former body! And yet somehow the female part of his brain seemed allured as she couldn't help but watch him disrobe, pulling off his clothes once more before throwing them to the side, his nude body standing before him. Her gaze was drawn to his cock, dripping with pre, her draconic pussy crying out for it despite her consciousness telling her this was wrong. She'd been kidnapped and turned into another form... now she was supposed to have sex with herself?!

The confident Flicker looked over the dragoness, nodding in understanding, "Come on, don't be shy. I've always wondered what being a top feels like, and damn, I sure feel dominant.~" He didn't waste time, walking up to her placing his hands onto her shoulders before commanding her, "Turn around. I know your body wants it, and it won't stop calling for me until we're finished."

She slowly obeyed, letting out a huff as her new form seemed to move into place as she turned around obediently, a wave of submission washing over her form. She could feel her tail seeming to hike higher in anticipation to display herself before the male, only now starting to find control in her new limbs as she fluttered her wings out, flapping softly. The cool air washed over the human, as if inviting him into her warm innards, her pussy lubed with her passionate juices. He hummed at the sight, giving a tight grip to the base of her tail before hoisting it over her back. She let out a yelp as the smaller human seemed to force her into submission, feeling his hot breath against her vent as she splayed her wings beside her almost as if by nature.

He ran a finger over her cunt, using her arousal to lube his cock before lining up his slick shaft with her hole. She could feel his tip grinding between her lips, earning a sharp inhale and squeal from her as her body seemed to pulse a blissful wave of sugar through her veins. He noticed the tension in her body, her walls clenching over the underside of his shaft as he hotdogged her cunt, preparing to take her. Without wasting more time, he slowly began to enter her cannal, filling up the female as she took her first cock. The feminine craving between her legs rewarded her with dopamine, arching her back for him as he began to casually thrust inside. He let out hot huffs as he took her previous body, pressing right into her G-Spot with his tip as he knew exactly where it was from her past play sessions with her own dragoness body. Ret let her tongue roll out as she panted, a lewd plap echoing around the room as he humped without remorse, clenching her tail with one hand while the other wrapped around her thigh as they fucked.

She found herself pressing back onto his member as her body took over, dancing back and forth as the two different species lost themselves to their lust, making love to one another and themselves at the same time. Because she knew how much she had enjoyed tightness in her previous male form, she clenched her vagina around him roughly whenever he withdrew, earning hot moans and growls in response from her cunny. She massaged his member almost effortlessly as they began riding faster and harder, her face pressed up against the cold floor as his tip rammed against her cervix within. Feeling such a deep and full feeling only amplified the pleasure between her legs, her private alight with a fire or ecstasy as she fucked back at the human.

It was then that, seemingly at the same time, they found themselves reaching closer to their peak, like an overflow about to burst forth. They seemed to notice the closeness of their orgasms in one another, Ret putting together that the orb must have had something to do with it, before focusing back on their love making as they slammed into one another in their feral mating ritual. She curled the end of her tail around the wrist holding her thigh, encouraging him to spurt his seed within. He moaned back and leaned forward to bite the underside of her tail, nipping her as he rammed to hilt inside her once more, growling as he reached his orgasm, his cock spraying forth jets of thick cream into her womb.

The feeling of being filled inside her vagina was so unlike anything she'd ever felt, and it felt so feminine and so perfect. She could imagine a real drake doing the same, giving her eggs, treated just like any other female. She felt full, the hot, meaty rod surging forth fertile cum into her, just like it would do to any other girl. The thought of being a dragoness seemed to peak herself, her lips almost curling and stroking over his long and hard length as she squirted her fem juice over his length and onto both of their crotches as she squealed in bliss. Her vent eagerly sucked on his rod like a straw, drinking in everything he had to offer to seal it inside her pussy. She could feel each pulse of his cum between her legs, hitting the back of her womb before slowly starting to taper off. She felt her legs shaking from the intensity of it all, her tail twitching in his grasp as she tried to calm down from the feral instincts slowly releasing their grip on her mind.

They only stayed within one another for about a minute before Flicker withdrew himself, letting out a hot huff as he pulled out. He then eventually spoke up through deep breaths as he tried to regain his composure, "I will say, cumming certainly feels different as a male than a female... God that felt amazing." Ret nodded back, slowly moving onto her side to lie down for a moment as waves of ecstasy still were rushing over her body. He watched her rest before him, cleaning himself off before slowly getting dressed once more, "Okay, um... I'm going to try and prepare things for the morning. Um, feel free to relax here or join me in the laboratory down the tunnel once you've... recovered." He scratched his head, avoiding her gaze for a moment before giving an annoyed growl and walking off.

Ret took a few moments to recuperate, her heart rate eventually returning to normal before she stood back on all fours. She only just now noticed that she was slightly taller in this form than her previous, looking down at her bag beside the table as she reached for it with a paw before pulling out a flip-open mirror. It took her a second, trying to wedge her claw between the crack to open it while also holding it still, but after about a minute she was able to flip it open and quickly peered into it in curiosity.

Even though she knew it was true, the fact that a dragoness was staring back at him, let alone the same female who'd kidnapped him, now trapped in her body, just felt unreal and somewhat unsettling. It almost felt like she lost a part of herself, and yet she knew she was still the same human she had been moments ago. She marveled at the scales covering her face, running for talons along her long snout and tracing around the mechanical eye. She couldn't quite figure out how to work the zooming feature she'd seen him use earlier, but decided she'd ask him once she figured out how to talk properly again. She then admired her horns and wings, focusing once more to try and remember how she'd moved them during their breeding session.

She hadn't expected it, but learning to move new limbs was more difficult than she thought, watching as the appendage twitched when she tried focusing on moving something on her back, and eventually found the muscle that responded to her signals, flaring her wings open to examine them. They were leathery in texture, a few scraps along the membranes but nothing cut to hinder flying. She then flapped them once more, reveling in the wondrous breeze she created with her own body before spinning around to look at her tail. It ended in a smooth point, making her realize why Flicker must have attached a barb to the end of his tail as he lacked any sort of weapon that many dragons possessed on their tail tip. She didn't have to try and search for the muscles that controlled her back appendage for long, as her tail instinctively began to wag back and forth as she grew excited by it all, causing her to latch on to the feeling and began swaying her tail purposefully back and forth.

She then flipped onto her side and gazed between her legs, still in shock that she was a true female. She could still feel her mild arousal in the back of her mind and yet no cock emerged from the slit. Instead, she both felt and watched as her vaginal walls tensed, squeezing a mix of her fem-juices and his semen between them and over her thigh. She felt her face heat up at the sight, letting out a soft purr before giving a tender lick to her cunt. She loved the taste of herself, something so feminine and sweet covering her taste buds as she licked up her arousal as well as Flicker's salty load leaking forth. She then gave her clit an experimental lick, moaning out suddenly at the surge of pleasure from the little nub. She hadn't expected such an intense feeling from such a small area, yet her clit seemed to give even more pleasure than licking her pussy could do.

After giving herself some mild oral, enjoying some momentary pleasure, she soon found herself growing tired once more and decided to take a short nap. As she did, she dreamed about what kind of plan Flicker had come up with to save her brother. If he'd been working so long to find a way to get him back, surely he must know he was alive, or at least know where to start looking for him. Still, the whole idea of tomorrow seemed so far away, and all she wanted to do was explore her new body and perhaps sleep soon enough after she'd gotten something to eat. 'I wonder what Flicker has to eat around here... God I hope I don't have to hunt for myself...' As thoughts about what living as a dragoness would be like flooded her mind, she found herself slowly drifting off into a light slumber, some of the cum within leaking from the vent and onto her thighs as she closed her draconic eyes and regained her strength.
