#6 of I Love You Lucario...
Hey I'm back. Sorry for the long delay. Life has been hell, I'd rater not get into it. But I managed to find some time to finish this chapter. I hope you enjoy it. Here is chapter 6!
Lucario was still sitting on the bed thinking about his feelings for Mark. Suddenly the door opened and a shirtless Mark walked into the room. Lucario eyes widened at the sight of Mark with his wet hair and the lack of his shirt. He was pretty well toned for a 16 year old who never really worked out.
"Man, nothing feels better in the morning than a nice hot shower. Hey Lucario, you ready for breakfast?" said Mark opening his closet door and walking in.
"Umm, sure Mark, I'm a bit hungry."
"Great. I'll make us something special." Mark walked out of the closet wearing a green shirt and dark black jeans. He grabbed his shoes at the foot of his bed and sat down. He put on some socks and then his shoes. They were blue and white today. After Mark finished tying his shoes, he looked up at Lucario. "Ready dude?"
"Yup." said Lucario smiling. "What's for breakfast?"
"Something special to celebrate our new friendship." Mark said smiling back at the Lucario. Lucario blushed a little unseen by Mark who was already out the door heading downstairs. The Lucario followed him down the stairs and into the kitchen where Mark's mother was. She was standing there, looking outrageously tired, wearing her pink robe and holding a cup of coffee in her hand. When she saw the pokemon enter the room, she glared at him and then walked out the adjacent exit across the room.
"Don't mind her man, come and help me." The Lucario walked over to Mark and looked up on the counter. There were cartons of eggs, bacon, muffins, sausage, bagels, waffles and an assortment of berries. Lucario had never seen such an assortment of food.
"Wha- what is all this?" the Lucario asked eying the berries sitting in the bowl in front of him.
"This is breakfast, dig in." The Lucario looked up in confusion at Mark.
"You mean, we can eat all of this?"
"If you could down it all, sure." Mark got started on making and omelet with cheese salsa and jalapenos. He set it down on a plate after it was finished and then he put a few bagels in the toaster. Lucario grabbed two waffles and made a breakfast sandwich with some eggs, cheese, bacon and sausage. He also poured himself a cup of berries and a cup of coffee. He went and sat down at the table with his food while Mark was spreading jelly on his bagels. He picked a muffin a stuck it in his mouth and grabbed his cup of coffee and sat down at his table spot. He took the muffin out of his mouth and started to eat his gigantic overstuffed omelet. Lucario was already gnawing on his waffle sandwich. The microwave started beeping loudly which startled the Lucario a little. Mark got up from his chair and opened the microwave and pulled out a plate of hash browns. He walked over to the table and set the plate down after grabbing two off the plate. Lucario reached forward and grabbed two himself. Mark looked up at the poke
mon smiling and Lucario smiled back. They resumed eating their meals until they were full.
After the two had finished eating, they washed all the dishes they had used and put the leftovers in the refrigerator. They walked up the stairs and into Mark's room where they both fell on the bed, tired from eating so much.
"I've never eaten so much at one meal Mark. Are all meals of the day like this?"
"Only for special occasions." said Mark. They both fell into a deep sleep from consuming the vast amount of food for breakfast. Lucario had the same dream he had in the shower again, but it lasted longer and Mark had removed his shirt this time and they were making out a lot more.
Lucario jumped awake at the sound of the doorbell ringing. He tried to get up but something was holding on to him. Mark had wrapped his arms around him from behind. Lucario blushed as he lifted Mark's arms off him and got off the bed. He left the room and went down the stairs. He opened the door to Jake standing there with a big box.
"Hey Lucario, is Mark here? I have something to show him."
"Well, he's sleeping upstairs. What's in the box?" said Lucario pointing at the large cardboard box in Jake's hands. It had stickers and tape all over it and had the words "Fragile" and "Warning" on it.
"I can't say, it's a surprise. Can you wake up Mark?"
"I guess. Oh come on in." Jake walked in the door and set the box on the floor. He followed the Lucario upstairs to Mark's room where Mark was still sleeping. Jake walked over to the bed and bent down over Mark.
"Hey dude, get up! I got a surprise!" shouted Jake. Mark jumped in surprise and looked around the room before looking at Jake.
"Dude, can't you see I'm sleeping?"
"Sleep can wait. This can't!" said Jake excitedly. "Hurry up man, come outside." Mark groaned his way out of bed and followed his friend down the stairs.
"What the hell is that massive box for?" asked Mark
"That's the surprise dude!" said Jake picking the box up. "Get the door for me will ya?" Lucario walked over and opened the door. The three left the house and walked a fair distance away from the house.
"Umm, we need to go to a place where there aren't any buildings nearby." said Jake.
"We can go out into the field." replied Mark.
"Umm yeah, that works." Jake struggled to pick up one end of the box, but it slipped from his hands and he fell back on his ass. Lucario walked over to the box and picked it up with ease holding it above his head. Jake looked up in shock and Mark burst out laughing.
"Hey man shut up, it's.....it's a....big box." said Jake standing and dusting himself off. They all walked into a distant flat field with the remains of the harvest along the earth. The land was so flat that you could see for miles out in any direction.
"Wait, stop." commanded Jake. Lucario dropped the box on the ground with a thud.
"Hey careful with that! That's not cheap you know!"
"Sorry Jake." said Lucario stepping back away from the box and walking over to stand next to Mark. Jake walked up to the box and opened it just enough for him to peek inside. He closed it and then turned to the other two.
"Gentlemen and Pokemon. I have here, something so awesome, that it will blow your fucking minds!" said Jake raising his arms and then shooting out all his fingers for emphasis.
"What is it then?" said Mark crossing his arms in impatience.
"Watch!" said Jake pointing at Mark which made his drop his arms. Jake ripped open the top of the box and started pulling out lots of packing peanuts. He finally reached all the way in the box and pulled a strange object non of them had ever seen. It was in the shape of a cone, it had a red top and fins. The rest of the body was white and on the strange object, it said "Bunker Buster XXX". Jake held it up above his head like it was a sports trophy. "Isn't it awesome?!"
"Ummm what is it?" asked Mark. Lucario looked just as confused as Mark did, examining the strange object that Jake was holding trying to figure out what it was and what it did.
"Oh for Mew's sake! It's a rocket! You know! Whoosh! BOOM! Rocket!" shouted Jake making gestures with his hands simulating the rocket. Mark and Lucario still looked confused at what they had just heard.
"Sigh, it flies up high in the air and then makes a massive explosion!"
"How did you get one?" asked the Lucario.
"I got one from my dad. He shipped it over from Hoenn and it just arrived today. We have to fire this thing quick though, I was grounded for being out late last night and my mom doesn't know I'm gone." Jake pulled a stand, some wires, and a little box with a keypad and a keyhole on it. Jake assembled the set and placed the control box about forty-five feet away from the upright positioned rocket. The three were all laying in a prone position near the control box. Jake typed in some codes on the control box. The bottom of the rocket started to put a little bit of smoke. He took a key out of his pocket and placed it in the keyhole and turned it. A little red light above a red button turned green.
"You can press the button Lucario, if you want."
"No way, Mark can press it!" said Lucario facing Mark. Mark's eyes looked into the Lucario's softly.
"How about we both press it together?" The Lucario looked back and forth between the smoking rocket and Mark.
"Sigh, alright." said the pokemon nodding his head. Lucario placed his hand on the button and Mark placed his hand on Lucario's. They both pushed the button softly and there was a click. About half a second later, fire erupted from the tail of the rocket and it shot up into the air. It went straight up shooting at amazing speeds. It flew for about 10 seconds before it exploded into fire and smoke. The fire was a beautiful red and yellow. Lucario thought despite it being an explosion, it was quite pretty. Suddenly he felt something warm wrap around his shoulders. Mark was squatting next to Lucario with his arm on his shoulder.
"It's beautiful isn't it Lucario?" Lucario managed to turn and nod to Mark without the redness under his face showing. Lucario smiled at the amazing sight of the falling flames and sparks and Mark's warm arm around his shoulder. This was the most relaxed he had felt since he had been with his trainer back in Snowpoint City. Suddenly he noticed something on fire falling rapidly through the smoke and towards the ground. It hit the same field only about a hundred feet away from where they were standing. It shot flames out all around it and made a large crash when it hit the ground.
"Oh fuck! The fields on fire!" said Jake pointing at the growing flames in the field around the chunk from the rocket. "Fuck hurry!" The three ran to the fires across the field.
"Ah fuck, they're too big to stomp out! We need water or something!" Jake and Mark took off running leaving the Lucario staring at the fire. The two humans looked back to see that the pokemon was not following them.
"Lucario come on! Get away from the fire!" shouted Mark. The Lucario just closed his eyes and brought his hands together, palms facing the fire. A blue light started to surround his hands growing brighter and brighter. Suddenly a blue bubble started to cover the blazing area. After a couple minutes the fires went out and revealed the smoking black patches of the ground. Lucario's hands went back to normal and he opened his eyes. Mark and Jake ran back to Lucario bewildered at what they just saw.
"Lucario, what was that?" asked Mark staring at the smoldered field.
"It was aura sphere. I used it to contain the fire and cut off its oxygen supply."
"That was amazing!" said Jake jumping up in down in joy.
"Good job Lucario!" said Mark before he got down and hugged the Lucario. Lucario blushed to where Mark saw it after he pulled away. Lucario shifted his eyes downward towards the ground.
"Boy, I thought we were fucked." said Jake not noticing the awkward moment between the other two.
"JAKE!!!"
"Oh fuck. I'm in deep shit now." Jake said looking scared.
"Jake what the hell are you doing out of the damn house!" screamed a small lady. It was Jake's mom....figures. "You get back inside and go to your room! I don't want to see you come out of there again till dinner time!"
"Later dude." Jake whispered down to Mark who was looking up at him, his face now red. Jake ran off towards his mother and walked home. Mark and Lucario were still standing in the field with red faces trying not to look directly at each other.
"Mark I-" "Lucario I-" said both of them together. Their faces reddened even more.
"Mark." said Lucario looking up. Mark raised his head up and looked at the Lucario. "I have to tell you something."
