#5 of Rouge's "Reformation" Center
Metal Sonic exposes a gap in Rouge's security and she needs some experts to fix it.
Rouge stared at the blank impassive face before her with considerable concern. "How did you even find this place?"
"You really think you can hide a power sink like this?" Metal sonic replied coolly, his robotic voice managing to channel his namesake's cockiness. "To be honest when I actually broke in I was not expecting what i found..." The robot's LCD screen eyes flicked from left and right. "I didn't actually see anything but I'm no swatbot. What I heard tells me all I really need to know."
Rouge winced and regretted it as the robot's eyes shifted into an imitation of a smile.
"Do they know what you are really doing down here? Your little friends think you're helping out by taking the Ne'er do wells and cast offs and bringing them into the fold. Meanwhile you are busy lining your own pockets. Mind control though I'm not sure how you're doing it. I saw at least one cell go from having a male occupant to a female one. Rouge stepped forward, never one to take being threatened lying down. "You aren't comprehending the position that you're in." Rouge declared as disconnected wires from inside Metals arms and legs. The magnetic plate he was on making such a thing easy to accomplish "It's hopeless. You're finished. You haven't got a prayer." Rouge declared as she ripped wires that might do anything out with prejudice a shower of sparks rewarding her mechanical mauling. "Cause I'm Mistress Rouge and you aren't going anywhere."
Metal Sonic's eyes flickered until the damage stopped. "I don't have pain receptors, you know? Sure I can't move my limbs but you have three days tops before I'm declared missing and then your whole operation is in the light."
Rouge rubbed her rings nervously knowing neither of them would help her against a mob and that neither of them would work on the machine. "Three days is a lot of time Metal..." Rouge's mind kicked into high gear. "I'll dig through my collection and find a way to stop any yapping you have planned." Rouge declared.
"Oh my Gaia! I seriously don't have a ring of magnetism or something?!?" Rouge shouted, tipping the last of her magic jewelry boxes to the floor. The closest she had found to useful was a ring of combining which still would only let her wear less jewelry. "The Trance can only control thinking beings, not reprogram a computer! And the Molder only works on flesh not metal." Rouge flopped to her bed in frustration. "If i could just make a magic ring of robot control..." Rouge paused, turning that thought over. "I can't do that... but I know somebody who can." she grinned to herself.
Shimmer the Echidna was a wizard, one of the best, he was also one of the few smart enough to abandon Angel Island during the Echidna civil war. Like most of his magic loving kinsman he dressed in a golden hooded robe with a white sun disk pattern on the back. the garment being long enough to conceal his whole body and even species from those not in the know. His few stand out features were his purple fur, a symbol made of three inter clocked pyramids on his forehead and the addition of a red leather belt. While not a real ally of the freedom fighters he was at least opposed to Eggman's forces. He had agreed to help almost immediately upon learning that Rogue wanted to make a 'weapon' for fighting robots.
"Hmmm well the magic is good and strong, this one is easy enough to make effective..." Shimmer said holding up the Molder. "However.. I'm afraid to make this one work we will need to translate the nature of the spell... into machine code." The purple echidna made a disgusted expression as he held up the Trance.
"Can you manifest this 'nature of the spell' to be translated?" Rouge asked, already thinking of who would be easiest to deal with and capable of dealing with Code."
"Certainly could but to do so would be-" Shimmer was cut off as the trance ring went off in his hand. After wearing it so long Rouge could command its power without actually wearing it.
"I'll keep this simple. You're going to obey me without question from now on. Nothing else matters except pleasing me." Rouge said imperiously. "Be good and you might even get a reward."
"Yes Mistress, I'll display the magic to be made into code." Shimmer said smiling as he violated a taboo of his former magic obsessed clan.

Rouge waited patiently at the center while her expert got to work. Nicole the Holo-lynx, a super computer UI turned into personal assistant AI was the easiest and most trustworthy of the geniuses Rouge knew. Plus all it had taken was a quick call to Sally to borrow Nicole's help. Nicole glanced at the glowing script from her hologram screen and then back at the glowing script from magical projection. "Hmm, coding for magic is a new one..." the holo-lynx said as she translated another line. "It's astounding how similar it is to coding. Where is this going when it's finished?"
Rouge produced a copper colored ring bearing a series of thin slices of emerald contained in a copper wave pattern. "Not exactly a favorite of mine but I like the way it goes with the set." Rouge declared.
"I'll take your word for it, not much into jewelry myself." Nicole said, giving a smile as she flicked the holo screen around. "All done ready for enchanting."
"Oh thank goodness my arm was getting tired." Shimmer said as he dismissed the projection spell. "Well I can't check her work so let's get to it." The Echidna declared as with a wave of his hand wisps of light joined in the air copying the words from Nicole's projection which sank into the ring Rouge was holding. The emerald glowed brighter as each word entered until it was a shining beacon pouring green light into the room. At length Shimmer reached the end of the spell and the light faded out. "Oh that took a lot out of me." the echidna said, flopping onto the room's bed.
"Did it work?" Nicole asked as rouge donned the ring properly.
A tingle like static crawled over the bat as she felt the magic it had been imbued with respond to her will. "Let's see." Rouge said blasting Nicole with the Machine rings jagged emerald energy.
Nicole's expression went blank as Rouge took control. The bat grinned wickedly as the Holo-lynx's light form body solidified. Nicole's feet touched the ground as her casual dress shifted into a one piece bodysuit struggling to hide her round ass and contain her breasts. It started by spreading out the spikes on his head, giving him a mouth and changing the color of his eyes from red to blue. She gave him a set of bulkier, more rounded shoulders to go with the thicker arms that now ended in soft gel tipped digits instead of harsh metal claws. She bulked up his chest at the top and the waist making him roughly hourglass shaped with a soft blue gel as his outer layer. She thickened his legs as well as widening and heighting his feet.
