Transformed Primate Life

The mandrill-baboon hybrid stood proudly at the peak of the temple, his nose twitching curiously as he scented the air. James had had some time to adjust to his new life in Jumanji, although the primate was swiftly losing hope that he would ever regain his human form. He supposed, considering everything, if he had not somehow slipped into a coma or similar in the human world, something to make sense of the dream playing out, that it was just as well that he had retained his human mind. That, at least, allowed him to cling onto some semblance of reality with an iron grip that James was still unsure if it was benefitting him or not.
Yet the jungle thrived around him, rich and fruitful, never quiet. There was not a moment out there that some kind of creature was not active, whether it was the fish flickering through the rivers or the birds soaring through the trees. James had noticed, however, that larger predators still avoided the primates at the temple, the mix of mandrills and baboons, though he was the largest of them all, a hybrid of both.
Maybe it was because they were the apex predators in more ways than one, their teeth sharp, eyes bright, stalking their territory with their heads held proudly high: all to get a better view of their domain, the land that they ruled over. There was nothing of a dull, animalistic nature behind their eyes, after all, though James was more and more confident that he would have been able to tell if they were transformed humans like himself. No, they were far different from that, a race and species of their own that he did not doubt at all that could have risen against human beings and challenged them. Of course, that would have been if the intelligent primates had any reason to. As it was, they were more than comfortable where they were, defending their territory, living a life of comparative luxury in the gentle security of the temple.
There were human treasure hunters to contend with, of course, but no one else bothered them – at least, not yet. James knew that there was still more about life there for him to learn, his human world further and further away from him. Though he still wondered whether he would have watched Jumanji that night if he had known that the movie itself would transport him away to a far-off place, changing the course of his life forever.
All primates there, whether they were baboons with glorious, bright behinds or mandrills with a cannier lilt to their walk, a rolling gait on all fours, were digitigrade, walking on their toes, though it naturally suited them. But he wanted to make things better for them, for they had seemed more than content with their lot in life, the life that they had presumably decided and accepted was their lot in life for them to live.
That was one thing, at least, that James could do for them as their alpha and leader, clearing some of the rubble from the temple and throwing it down the slope that the temple was perched at the top of, chattering and bellowing, thumping the ground. The rubble strewn down there would make it even more difficult for treasure hunters to negotiate and he knew, from his time as a human, that it would provide more homes for jungle animals, insects and small critters, when it was out away from the primates. There were not a lot of brave small animals that hung around the temple, only those that knew that they could keep away from the primates, respecting them as the apex predators, even though the primates mostly foraged for food. The capability to turn and gnash their sharp teeth, however, lips peeled back from them, dripping with saliva, was always there, lingering in the background of his mind every day.
They could use their physical capabilities, their lean, powerful bodies that rippled with muscle, though every one of them had to be aggravated to turn into the beasts that they could become at a moment's notice. James frowned, watching them, their quiet placidness, though there was more still that he could do.
With a small group in tow, he set out on his own, not expecting them to follow. And yet they did naturally, for he was their leader, making his heart swell, his chest puff out with pride. If they knew and respected him as their alpha, then it was at least partly up to James to care for them, to look after them.
He searched high and low, learning from them, peering into hollow tree trunks and delving into ant nests – not the fire ants but the safer, dark kind – though leaves and vegetation made up the easy bulk of their diet. Being forced to look after mandrills and baboons, the latter of which had more of a taste for meat than the former, was a challenge to James, but one that he threw himself into with gusto that surprised even him. He'd never been that open and forward about, well, anything when he'd been a human, never all that motivated. Maybe it really had taken his life being turned on its head for him to see what he was truly capable of.
On his foraging expeditions, searching out new and easier sources of food for them, he gained more followers, more of the primates from the temple curious about what he was doing. James only wished that he was able to talk to them, though he had started to learn some things, what a warning grunt was, what a groan with a certain tone to it meant. One of the greatest distractions to him around the temple was, perhaps, the primates mating with one another, making a display of it, as if they were proud of their sexuality, a show for all to see. Not that he didn't want to watch, as curious as ever, but there were only so many times that he could grasp the thick length of his cock to spill load after load from his heavy, swinging balls.
Foraging was something useful that James could do, besides relaxing in the realm of self and shared pleasure that every primate there seemed to partake in. As they foraged, he learned that they liked monocot plants, the young, tender shoots, the most, though insects from overturned logs, revealing a cornucopia of a feast beneath, were also easy pickings. Scooping them into their mouths, the mandrills and baboons feasted greedily, all with James watching over them, their caring alpha.
He tried to show them how to make traps and snares to catch prey more easily for those that preferred a diet with meat in it, as even the mandrills sometimes liked to catch juvenile bay duikers, a small antelope, though the fully-grown ones were a bit beyond the capabilities of the primates unless they hunted as a group. That would most certainly be an option, but James first needed to be able to communicate with them, catching up with them and the language between them all that the group had chosen to adopt, for it still struck him as something that they had not learned as they had grown. He doubted, however, that he would ever find out how the other primates got to be there at the temple and would have to make his peace with that.
Although it was harder to work his fingers as a hybrid primate than, of course, it had been as a man, he managed to work a rudimentary snare out of long grasses and twigs to catch bigger prey more safely for them. He didn't want any of his pack, after all, becoming hurt when there was something that he could do about it.
They seemed curious about that, though it was as if they had never seen such a trap before – that would have been plausible whether they had been born as humans or sapient primates. It was not as if such things were all that common where he had come from before anyway, in the city and that kind of life. Not everyone knew about nature and being self-sustained by the land, though he had been quite into outdoorsy stuff before the apathy of adult life, to be quite honest, had dragged him down. That kind of happened, was not uncommon, when one was an army vet, though it was not the sort of thing that he wanted to consider too much. It was not a time of his life that he took much pleasure in looking back on, if he was honest.
He shook that off. That wasn't something that he needed to think about, not right then, not as he sourced out the water, following the river upstream, though it was often running with silt and strange debris. James grunted and hunkered down in the bushes, thick foliage covering him and brushing gently over his fur.
Treasure hunters. Just another expedition, nothing to worry about, but it seemed that they had been contaminating his water source, the main source that his pack drank from. Well, he was not just any normal primate and neither were they! His stomach churned, anger flooding him, red hot and seeping down right to the tips of his fingers, toes curling into the dirt, feeling the energy of the ground beneath him.
He sought to fix it, though he was cleverer than even the humans there, redirecting a tributary of the river with rocks and boulders enough to change the course. It was not a huge amount of water, but it was enough to ensure that the treasure hunters would not pollute their preferred water source, for there could not be much good gained for the primates from drinking from puddles and still, stagnant water. Those, however, had become favoured after the taste of the river had differed, the mandrills and baboons knowing that something had changed even though they did not quite know what.
Nothing could have filled him with a greater amount of pride than watching his pack drink fresh, clean water again, their eyes landing on him as they grunted in gratitude. It was a grunt that had a different pitch than the others, softer as if it came from deeper down in their throats, and he murmured in turn, bowing his head. As they respected him as their alpha, he respected them too as his pack, the ones that he would forever take care of, as long as he was there with them.
And if he ever had to leave, James would more than make sure that they had all the tools that they needed in his absence to ensure their survival and prosperity at the temple.
He learned more of their language, though there were no words in it. He thought with full words and sentences still, but he had heard, before, that other people thought with images and impressions, more abstract notions. That was the key for James in learning to speak their language, even though he had to admit that he had never honestly been all that good at it, at learning languages. It would take him a while to learn to think as they did, all so that he could communicate more effectively with them, but he didn't seem to have any rush there at all.
Of course, they didn't have the luxury of human speech to work with, yet he felt more at home with them, settling down for the night in the protective arms of the temple, watching the soft rise and fall of their flanks as they breathed. More at home, in fact, than he had ever felt around any humans, any people, though it was growing harder and harder to differentiate, truly, between humans and people and his people, the primates. The lines had blurred somewhere, leaving him seeing humans as the interlopers, those that sought to harm his pack, while he was merely a human who was one of them. It was confusing, but still very much not something that James had to work out at once.
Not everything had to be known. Some things were just felt.
He would, always, be different to them. The only hybrid there, he towered over them, bigger and stronger, quicker. He would not have said that he was more intelligent, not really, but it was more that he had a different life experience that made it so he was better able to bring that into his life there. A deep sense of duty settled into the pit of his stomach, a duty to his tribe, ensuring that his new kingdom survived. Where it had come from, he could not tell, but he was where he needed to be, nonetheless.
And yet James continued to surprise them, showing them his skills without even thinking about it. It simply came naturally to him, though he was more of an explorer than the primates were naturally. Maybe they had gotten too locked into defending their territory? There was no way to say, but he was curious still, yes, wanting to know more about them, to see where they were coming from there.
Weapons were something that he could show them how to use, taking a snapped spear from the humans, one that had been left behind after they had scared the humans off again. With it, he stalked fish in the river, though the primates were often so close to him that they scared off the fish. James wheeled and bared his teeth at them, warning them back, for he was there to show them how to fish, not to be so hassled that their shadows could not help but fall over the very fish that he was there trying to catch.
Levelling the spear, he stayed as still as possible, like a fishing bird, a heron, until the flicker of a fish incited him to strike at just the right moment. The baboons and mandrills whooped and hollered as the spear with a roughly hewn head emerged from the glistening water with a squirming, flopping fish impaled on the tip.
That was only the start of it, working with the wood and natural materials that he had there to make daggers, though he could only take metal from the humans, not wanting to sully the temple. James could not have said quite why, but there was an affinity there, a reason that he didn't want to take from it, except when he was doing his little bit to clear the floor, to return it to the open splendour that allowed his pack their home. But wooden daggers could be sharpened too for cutting and plunging into prey, allowing them to more readily indulge their carnivorous diet. When it involved a hunting style that prey in those parts had not seen before, they didn't know what to do, what to expect, easy pickings for the delighted, sharply intelligent primates.
One thing that James noticed, however, was that he didn't have three bars on his arm, as he had seen in the movie, meaning that he was indigenous to Jumanji – even if he had come from another world. It was a small bit of information that he was able to glean from watching some of the treasure hunters that did bear the marking, but his exotic, hybrid form was not the same. Maybe one day he would know what to do with that information, but it was not necessary in the time being.
One evening, he settled down with the others, though his hands were busy, scooping out earth before the temple, creating a fire pit. He had already shown the others fire, though they had crowded in close to it without burning themselves, for which he was grateful, able to gather from how they behaved that they had at least seen fire before. He only wished that they were able to tell him what their actual experiences with it were, but it was easier to let them relax in the glow of light that he created, striking a fire in the pit to keep them warm when the temperature and humidity dropped.
It was good for him too to sit before the fire, to remember his humanity – or perhaps the type of intelligence and sapience that he now held in a primate form. He was not human, James had to remember that, solely as the humans were the enemies in Jumanji. That was not something that could ever be denied, not with how often the treasure hunters tried to advance on the temple, though it was, very rarely, the same group twice. True, the primates could have allowed them to rise and take what they wanted, but they would have only encroached on their territory, setting a precedent for more. And losing their territory was not something that James would at all abide…
Grunting softly, he murmured to himself as if talking as he set up a spit across the fire, roasting it. The spear hunting had gone better and better once the primates had gotten the hang of it, allowing them to vary their diet even more, growing stronger. Of course, they had eaten fish before, though it was a challenging food source most of the time, slippery too. There were birds too, not only eggs from their nests, crafted arrows, rudimentary at best, doing their job. The baboons and mandrills all crowded in curiously, their nostrils twitching at all the new scents, though it was something that they would become swiftly familiar with.
Taking several aside, James bared his teeth in a light smile, keeping his lips as much over them as possible (he couldn't open his mouth much with the size of his sharp teeth without showing them off), a softer look about him. He was not only their protector but their teacher too, having stolen spices and salt from the humans. They would later be able to scrape rock salt from where it dried and gathered on higher ground, though spices would need to be more carefully ground from the plants that they were derived from and stored dry. That was something, however, that James could come to later.
The other primates took a little longer to come around to boiled water, though the pots were easy enough to take from the temple itself, with thanks. Where the temple provided from them, they provided for and guarded the temple too, a mutually beneficial relationship, though James was exceedingly careful to clean every pot he used, regardless of what he was trying to make. His cooking experiments went off to varying degrees of success, though the primates slowly developed a more refined pallet
Boiling water, however, and teaching them about cleanliness, when it came to water, by showing them unclean, dirty water and fresh, safe water – a clear difference to the primates – allowed them another avenue. The mere act of boiling it would allow them to use more water sources than before, even though they were making strides in accessing other water sources, tricking the humans into digging for treasure – holes that would become fruitful wells of water for them.
It changed the game for the primates, storing fresh water in jars and other containers, though James tried to ensure that everything that was going to stay for longer had a solid lid to it. It wouldn't do if anything poisonous, of course, got into the water source when he was there to protect them.
The mandrills and baboons practically went wild whenever he showed them something new, picking up on new ways to do things almost more quickly than James could teach them. With all the whooping and fist slamming and hollering around him, the primates even leaning against one another with their arms around each other in solidarity, he knew what it was to be at the centre of a tribe, to a be leader that was marvelled at, so well loved. More than anything else, he was the alpha, the one that would show them how to be better, how to protect themselves and their pack, everyone looking after the rest of the pack so that no member was left out.
Training them to fight against the humans…well… It seemed like something a little silly to go into when considering their strong, powerful bodies, coiled with tight, functional muscle, but he had to try. Fashioning spears, bows and arrows, knives and, more sneakily, traps that the humans could fall into too, he made it so that the primates did not have to make contact with the humans to drive them off if the treasure hunters were more persistent than usual. That was a good thing indeed, allowing them to keep their distance from the hunters, though they grew even stronger and more agile, quick and flashing before his eyes in a blur of silver, grey and brown fur, everyone's coat ever so slightly different.
The hunters were bad, relentless in their drive, though James did not truly know why they all seemed as fixated as they were on his temple and his tribe. Maybe there were other temples out there – he didn't know what the further world was like around him – and he was simply missing what was happening, but he didn't want to leave his pack. No, that was not something that concerned him, though he trained the primates to move in formation too, to employ tricks and traps where they were the active player in the trap, not merely setting a pitfall or similar for the vicious, greedy humans.
They had no names in the pack and yet James could tell everyone apart, knowing them intimately. Everyone had a different way of walking, a different set to their bodies, something that he tuned into more and more, the longer he was there. And yet he was still surprised when a female baboon with a silvery hue to her coat of hair presented herself to him, a glint in her eye and a croon in her groan.
“Unff… Unff!"
She rocked back towards him, poised on all fours, though his body could not help but respond. It knew what she was doing, his mind not knowing whether to leap at the opportunity or not, though everyone mating and enjoying the pleasures of the body around him should have been his first sign that things between him and his pack, ultimately, would change at some point.
His eyes dropped to the slit of her sex, openly on show to him, though the round of the baboon's red backside drew him more, how thick with muscle it was, the power in her. They were all strong, but he was the strongest, her thick tail pushing out of the way so that he had a clear view of her, her need, her desire.
“Mmph…"
James shook his head and half-turned away, frowning, sitting back on his haunches. With the temple rising behind and the fire flickering in its pit, they should have been happy and he was – only he didn't know whether it was right, whether he should allow relations within his pack to take that turn. His cock throbbed out and, watching her display, presenting her body increasingly urgently to him, he stroked it absently, shivering at the pleasure.
Still, no one there would try to force him if he was not consenting, even if that night opened up the doors to more for James, an increasing number of the females, both baboons and mandrills presenting themselves to him. Mostly, they waved their thick tails high and showed off their colourful buttocks, the mandrills with those glorious shades of blue across their backsides that he had grown to love.
He couldn't help but stare when they presented themselves to him, his cock hanging out more and more often, though it threw off his balance a little. They only showed off their muscular, glorious behinds when they were up near the temple, understanding that there was a time and a place for everything, for which James was grateful.
They grunted and rocked their hips back to him, two females down by the firepit, side by side as if he was being asked to choose between them. And yet James still didn't know what to do, whether he should choose or not, even though their need and desire for him was evident. There was no need for him to read body language as part of communication when their grunts and groans and chuffs meant for him to take them, a cacophony of “yes", spent over and over again.
They waited for him to come to it in his own time, however, even though that only meant that they had to wait a few days. He stroked his massive member, the length throbbing with every pulse of blood, while he understood his desires, jacking off to their displays, though it was more and more enticing for him to watch them mating. They did not keep their lovemaking between their own species either, baboons and mandrills coming together too as if passion was for everyone.
Though they all wanted to experience the might of the alpha too as he spent his creamy load into the ground, rivulets of cum running between the broken stones of the temple floor, seeping into the cracks. His power, in its way, would be returned to the earth, but when a mandrill slipped onto her back for him, showing him her sex and the twist of her need in an even more carnal form, he could not resist.
And it was not for James to resist, for everyone was obviously consenting, his hard cock leading the way, balls swinging under him. They felt even heavier since the females had been trying to get his attention, as if his body was producing even more semen so that he could do his job right, to be the alpha, demonstrating his power in his virility as well as all other ways so far.
The mandrill rolled back onto all fours for him, chattering under her breath and crooning and he pressed his face to hers, nuzzling, brushing, the closeness of touch connecting them. Their hands roamed each other's bodies as if they were grooming each other, though it was something even more intimate than that, something that James could never go back from, not when his heart was so full of pride for his pack.
He loved them, fiercely protecting them, every last one of them. His cock ached as he took it in hand and she presented herself again, moving her thick tail to the side for him, everything exposed. It was not as if either one, after all, would have wanted to hide away when there were such pleasures to be taken, James trembling as he pressed the head of his cock up to her slit, the softness of her entrance.
It was easier than he thought to push into her, the mechanics of it not particularly different to what he was used to, though he was not prepared for the rush of pleasure. Eyes half-lidded, his head fell back, exposing his throat in a fit of vulnerability. Oh, that was good! So much better than any sex that he had ever had before, but his life there was different, so vastly different, all in a way that he had no desire at all to go back to anymore.
No, James was home and where he was as they fucked carefully, the mandrill quivering under him, her head turned to watch him, almost as if she could not bear to look away. She grunted and crooned her appreciation of him as he pushed into her, finding a pace that suited him, long, slow, deep thrusts, tail wiggling back against his stomach and chest where she was simply unable to keep it still.
And he talked back to her still, wishing that he could force human words from his lips, though it was somehow even clearer in a primate language, what they had all been building between themselves, what he was learning. He did not grip her or hold her in place, but let her set the pace for his first time with a mandrill, the female groaning deeply, shuddering reverberations of pleasure flowing through her with every stroke of his cock.
His mighty balls ached and throbbed and James shook his head, hands resting on her hips, stroking through her silken fur, admiring her form. She was one of the most agile in the pack, always swinging from branches and doing flips through the air. If only he had not been such a fool so as not to notice her earlier! She had clearly, in the clarity of hindsight, been doing it to get his attention, though he had been too concerned with the rest of the tribe and setting them on the right path to survival to notice.
Well, James would never again let that pass as he let instinct roll through him, gasping and groaning, chattering cries breaking his lips. His teeth clicked against one another, though he was quick to get his tongue out of the way of them, picking up the pace of his strokes as the mandrill ducked her head and all but hollered for him to do more, to fill her, to take her.
That was not a challenge that he was at all about to back down from, not as he met her stroke for stroke, his body tingling with energy like it never had done before.
Was that what having sex was supposed to be like? With that tangible connection, thrumming in the air, between him and his pack?
He couldn't help it, joining his mate of the moment in shared orgasm, the cries of the primate reaching far beyond the temple's walls as he spent himself inside her, both primates experiencing the height of pleasure. Spurts of thick seed short from him, though his orgasm felt so much more powerful than it ever had done before that the mandrill-baboon was left gasping, heaving, hunched over his partner as if she was the only thing keeping him rooted in the moment. With her tight sex closed around him, his head spun, barely in his mind, not when sensation demanded so much attention.
The ooze of cum squelching back down the length of his shaft.
The bristle of her fur against his stomach.
The scent of primate in the air, the musk of their bodies as they joined, sex twining through it all.
The brush of his fingers through her fur, so soft.
The croon that rose from her lips, the mandrill shuddering into his touch, wanting more.
He spent the night with his first primate partner, though they only fucked a handful more times, the others either ignoring them completely while they slumbered or crouching in close, hoping for a turn themselves.
But he stayed with her, wanting that closeness, the soft rise and fall of her body in sleep, though the plunge of his thick member back into her snatch was much needed come morning. Even then, James said to himself that there was no better way that he could have welcomed the morning.
Once the floodgates of sex with his newfound pack had been opened, there was no stopping him. One female after the other came for him, wanting him, him wanting them too. Everyone made their need obvious in their language and it was by no means simply down to body language, though the larger primate never once held his partners in place so that they could not move away from him if they chose to. No, that was not the kind of lover at all that James was and he didn't want to force anyone, much as they had presented the offer of their bodies to him, repeated times, without forcing him at all to do anything that he didn't want to.
He'd known what respect was, of course, from his prior life, and boundaries too, but sometimes it took being in a new body to really see what that meant, how it went both ways. Maybe that was why he had been as withdrawn as he had been too, always having his boundaries trampled on. Yet the baboons and mandrills offered him space when he needed it, even copying his facial expressions, learning to smile without their teeth. Slowly but surely, they mimicked him, learning with incredible speed to come up to his level, even if they had a different kind of intelligence. One way of intelligence and being did not mean that others could not exist, though neither would James have called them alien. No, they had just lived a different life than him.
They learned from each other and he felt that the most avidly as he drove softly and deeply into a female, on her back, her legs up around him. He relished in the sensation of her strong muscle against him, how they shared breath, faces close together, the striking hue of the top of his muzzle defining him. Her hands curled around his shoulders, hollering and crying out for more, and James was right there to give her every stroke that she wanted, mating for sexual pleasure and not merely the consequences of such. He hadn't seen any young around there, after all, but he did not doubt that there would be soon many of them, considering how frequently the primates fucked.
It was a crude word, but it was the best term to use when he revelled in his animal instincts, driving in deep, the slop of her pussy closing around him, almost sucking at his cock. He'd never felt such an incredible tightness before, though that was partially because he was much larger than them, so there was, at the very least, a little bit of size difference at play too, but nothing that they couldn't work through. The position, with her on her back and him over her, was more intimate than ever, driving in with full, throbbing strokes of his cock, pre-cum leaking from his tip, displaying his virility.
Yet the high had to come too and they clung to one another in passionate, shared orgasm, ecstasy flooding them. His cock spurted within her, heavy balls resting against her pussy and backside as James pressed in as deeply as he could possibly go, their fingers linked, spinning in carnal lust for one another. His free hand raked its claws softly through her fur, stroking and caressing, exhilaration coursing through him with every beat of his heart, pumping blood around his body.
That, however, was only one moment and there were more carnal moments to be had too, mounting in a natural position, on all fours, heat throbbing through him. In those moments, it was as if he could not let his mind slip to anything else at all, using the full length of his mighty member to drive deeply, harder and rougher before.
The baboon under him, for that mating liaison, cried out and rolled back to meet his thrusts, her thick tail pushed back up against him, though she was by no means trying to push him off as her red rump gleamed in the bright sunshine. It did not matter to any of the other primates, of course, that they were mating, his fangs bared in mating triumph, the sound of his hips smacking into her red buttocks rising to fill the air. They dominated it all, others glancing at them as they passed, though the other pack did not care for disturbing them, not when their alpha was taking such joy.
On the contrary, James realised dimly, too caught up in pleasure to chase the thought all that much further, they weren't trying to disrupt his pleasure – they were guarding him. Whenever he was mating with a baboon or a mandrill, the rest of the pack was always there, going about their business but some of them standing watch too, as if they had become the silent sentinels that the statues within the temple were.
He appreciated that, the ability to let go of everything, no manner of shame or embarrassment bearing witness to a single one of his trysts, knowing that he was safe, that he was protected. The pack and he worked together, every day, to better their future, always there, always together.
Under him, the baboon twisted and grunted, grinding back with even more urgency, and he moved to appease her, to give her every thrust that she craved from him. It was just one more way in which he could service and please his pack, holding onto her hips as he ground deep into her, balls bouncing off her pussy with every thrust, his hips grinding into her red backside.
He couldn't help himself, not as she exploded into orgasm and wailed out her pleasure, her language screaming her enjoyment, even as he joined her in pleasure. He couldn't stop himself and neither did James have any reason to, his cock unloading inside her and adding to an already slick, messy load that he had filled her with only a short time ago. James leaned over her, an arm wrapped around the baboon, crooning to her, rubbing her chest, letting his body mould over hers as if they were one being.
She moaned and grunted, though his softening cock, eventually, had to slip from her, and the mandrill-baboon laid back in the sunshine to relax, rolling onto his side, his tail loose and lacking any tension. There was nothing quite like getting off, after all, to soothe his mind, the frets that were there about making his pack as proud and as strong as they could possibly be. Even when he was mating, he was conscious that he had to have his wits about him, despite the guards stalking around.
He had to protect his pack, though another mandrill came up to him, lifting her tail in invitation. He let the sight of her arouse him, her backside a rich blue with a red sheen, his eyes fixed on it as she ground back onto his cock while he laid there. Though, of course, James was not going to lie there forever, his fangs lustfully bared, grunting as she roused his erection and sank back down onto his cock.
James rolled upright with his cock still inside her, powering over her, naked and revelling in his exotic desire. He was where he needed to be, the peace of the jungle temple filling the air, birdsong and other less intelligent primates chattering back and forth. In the distance, a jaguar yowled, though the primates there had no such fear of the beasts. They stayed well enough away.
There, sucking in deep breaths of her scent, driving in deep with a hard slap of his hips, James took her, letting the sense of being free, above all else, envelop him. It swarmed, but it was a pleasant buzzing, a vibration that called him deeper, no one there to comment on what he was doing, no bad words. Maybe words were overrated when their spoken language allowed communication on a deeper level, as if they were reading one another's minds.
It was natural, more so even to pound into her, watching her as she cried out in orgasm, her body contracting around him, even though James was far from done yet. He had her right where he wanted her and his clawed hand closed around her hip to hitch her up a little higher, knowing her intimately already, driving into her with rough, almost punishing strokes. And yet that was not something at all that James would have done if he had not known that she liked that.
He would never have done anything at all to hurt a member of his pack, only giving them what gave both of their bodies, altogether, the most pleasure, each thrust of his throbbing cock bringing them closer and closer to another orgasm. It was there, just beyond the reach of his bared fangs, senses in overdrive. From the brush of her fur coat to the scent of sex and musk in the air, he swallowed it all down like a primate deprived of water, thoughts simmering down, peace closing around him.
There was no need to worry about anything when he was with his pack, for he would be there to send off the monsters, the humans that looked to usurp them, to steal their treasure and intrude on their territory. Forever and always, and he held that in mind as he sank into her repeatedly, her sex pulled taut around his cock, as if a single inch more of meat would have pushed her past the limits of her body. And yet the mandrill too would not have had it any other way as she rocked back against him, demanding more and more and more until they could not help but burst into a glorious, hollering, screaming orgasm, his cock filling her pussy with the essence of new life.
There were more females, of course, who still wanted his attention that day, but he could tell them too when it was time to forage, for he could not spend the entirety of every day with them, oh no. There was still a matter of survival to be had and James grunted, shuddering against the mandrill as he gave her a squeeze, arms briefly around her before his sharp nails raked back to her hips. He knew he was doing what she wanted from how she trembled, the look of shining adoration in her eyes as she looked back at him. It reflected his own.
In the jungle of Jumanji, they would find a way to prosper, they would find a way to survive. In life and love and mating sweetly, being a transformed primate as the alpha of his new pack had not turned out to be all that much of a bad thing after all. In fact, it had brought James the life that he had never known he'd wanted, leaping with a whoop to a crumbling wall of the temple, peering down the slope to the jungle and prosperous land, just waiting to have the spoils of good food taken from it, with thanks.
With his pack and his mates, he was home, he was bonded.
And that would never change.
