Chapter 11: Uraku vs Kilch

Daniel appeared back in the world he had been missing for almost a month. His eyes were shut, but he felt wide awake already. He could feel Uraku's mighty warmth against him, but not as intimately as it was before. Daniel was dressed now. Daniel slowly opened his eyes, smiling happily. He then jerked his head back and let out a loud shout as the teeth of a cheeta were bear to him, a loud cheetah roar echoing through the small, now lit room. The roar jerked and the frantic freak-out from Daniel alarmed Uraku as well, waking him rudely and making him flip out of his bed, pulling Daniel on top.

The cheetah began laughing heartily, jumping on the bed and crouching down to look at the two. "Hey Uraku, you should share that cute thing with others sometime. But seriously, the first match is about to begin. Your up, Uraku!" Daniel looked up at the cheetah he recognized as Jalhamut. He felt degraded by the cheetah's words, opening his mouth as if to talk back. He then caught a glimpse of that handsome bulge in his speedo...the way he was squatting, forcing those bulging thigh muscles to flex so hard. Jalhamut noticed how Daniel stared at his jewels, snickering as he backflipped off the mattress and onto the concrete floor. "I'll see you on the arena floor, boys!" The cheetah sprinted at unviewable speed out the bedroom. He sure was fast..

Uraku grumbled, gently nudging Daniel to tell him to get off so he could get ready. Daniel took a look around the room after getting up. The room was so dull...it was nothing but concrete and a mattress. Perhaps the arena would prove to be a more artistic environment. Daniel looked back at Uraku, almost drooling again as he saw the orange tiger stretch his bulky muscle out, unknowingly put on a hot show for the human. His cock couldn't decide what it wanted more...the tiger or the cheetah. The tiebreaker would go in favor of Uraku for sure, since that's where his heart laid. Daniel looked away before Uraku noticed.

Uraku took up his armor, sighing in releif after finishing up. Uraku then held out his paw toward the door, a handle appearing out of thin air, followed by the sudden appearance of a huge, thick blade through an electric pulse. It was like the weapon used by that one Pyramid Head guy...but Uraku was holding it with one hand, pivoting it so that the sword was completely horizontal. Daniel gawked in wonder, Uraku chortling at Daniel's expression as he started putting a rubber sleeve over the sharp blade. "Let's go, cutey." Daniel shrugged, happily running after Uraku to stay by his side.

Once the true light of day revealed the contents of the vast underground passages, Uraku stopped and turned to Daniel. "This is where we part for now. Go up these stairs and find your assigned seat in the MVP aisle. That's where the contestants are sitting."

Daniel nodded and headed up the stairs as Uraku headed to the left, down a small hallway that shortly turned to the right and out of view.

The arena, even in it's simplicity in design, did more than simply make up for its lower levels. The stadium was built identical to a baseball stadium on Earth. Rows upon rows of benches surrounding the fighting arena except for a fourth of the complete circle. The cavity in the stadium seats revealed a beautiful waterfall...the biggest waterfall Daniel had ever seen. It was approximately the size of the Sears Tower in width and height. The sun was at the perfect position to shine through the descending waters, creating a series of small rainbows. The waterfall's fair distance from the arena made it silent, and allowed for a complement of trees and feral deer. The fighting arena was about as large as a standard baseball field. The MVP aisle that ran around the arena was elevated about 9 feet from the arena floor.

He looked to his right and saw a seat with his name written on it, but it was the only seat for a while. He noticed that around the most inner circle of the seating areas sat the other five contestants. He saw Sazla, Jalhamut, Benson, Nem, and Aveyi sitting in nearly equidistant distances apart. The two empty seats must have belonged to Kilch and Uraku.

He sat down, a fanfare playing from trumpets the moment his butt touched the bench. A large, youthful elephant stood in the middle of the arena, shouting with such a loud ferocity that the whole stadium could hear.

"Attention everyone! We are now ready to begin round one of the tournament! Please, hold your applause and cheers until each contestant is introduced to the battle field!"

The chattering and cheering furs slowly calmed down to silence, signaling for the elephant to continue. "Let's get going right away! From the South gateway, you can impale him with spears, cut open his throat, and pour salt in all his wounds, and he'll kindly ask you to, 'Please stop poking me."...UUUUUUURRAAKKUUUU!"

The crowd went wild, guys and girls alike shouting their 'love' for the tiger as he walked out from the south gateway, giant sword in one paw while the other waved around to the crowd. He looked back at Daniel and smirked, blowing him a kiss. Daniel blushed. Did he just get special attention that none of the others in the stadium received?

"And from the North gateway, he can crush coal and make diamonds with his bare paws, he can tear down a city without a weapon, he's...KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILCH."

Daniel had seen the silhouette of Kilch in the North gate for a while, but he didn't get a clear view of what he wore or anything. Daniel now saw the barbaric looking beast. He wore armor similar to Uraku's, but his arms were bare for all to see his enormous muscle. His platelegs were stretched...platelegs stretched! What kind of beastly muscle must this guy be donning to push out metal with the flexing of his calves? The girls and the smaller guys around the stadium were cheering wildly for Kilch. The bigger furs didn't seem too interested other than a group of young horses that were pelvic thrusting in the air for god knows what reason.

Kilch reached behind him and pulled out his two twin axes, each having three blade heads around a central point. A rubber sleeve was also placed on each bladehead.

Uraku and Kilch met each other's gaze. The elephant announcer jogged to a small patch of grass near the edge of the battlefield, then sounded his trumpet loudly. Uraku made his move first.

He held his sword diagonally to the side, almost dragging it against the ground as he ran up to Kilch, the polar bear standing his ground and positioning his axes, ready to intercept the initial blow. Uraku grunted loudly as he swung his sword at Kilch's axes, knowing that the first blow was never the finishing blow. Kilch easily caught the blade between blade heads on both of his axes and easily shoving Uraku away with his brute strength. Uraku nearly stumbled back, misguauging his footing on a small mound of dirt that jutted out. During the fumble, Kilch made his move and rushed Uraku, swinging the axe on the opposite end of where Uraku's sword was and slicing into Uraku's side with a mighty force. Uraku let out a loud growl. Daniel gasped, thinking Uraku might be hurt...but nobody else seemed phased at all. Did the announcer seriousy mean Uraku could take so much damage and still be perfectly fine with it?

Kilch brought the other axe around now, swinging for Uraku's paw as it reached down to pick up the sword he dropped after that menacing blow. Uraku caught the shadow approaching him at such a low elevation, and quickly retracted his paw, jumping up just enough to watch the axe swing under his feet. Uraku kicked his legs down hard, both feet landing on a bladehead of that axe and dislodging the weapon from Kilch's paws. The crowd cheered as Uraku picked up his sword and the disarmed axe, throing that axe far away into the waterfall's direction. Half of Kilch was disarmed, and Uraku now had the advantage.

Uraku noticed the shock in Kilch's eyes, knowing that this was the time to finish the job. He purposely swung his sword at Kilch's axe, giving him an easy time as parrying the blow, but once the two weapons met, Uraku raised his leg and kicked the axe between where the weapons grazed each other and where Kilch held the axe. Kilch lost his grip on the other weapon, the axe falling to the ground not too far from him. He rushed over to get his axe, Uraku following just behind him and kicking him down on the ground hard just as Kilch bent over to get his weapon. Kilch turned around, trying to swipe his axe at Uraku, but the tiger was just too quick. He jammed a foot into Kilch's wrist, the pain disabling any further attempt with the axe. Then he held his blade just in front of Kilch's neck, pressing into it lightly. They both are still for a moment, but it is clear who the winner was. Kilch frustratingly surrendered, "I yield..."

The crowd erupted as the elephant came up to Uraku, holding his paw up in the air. "The victor!"

Daniel joined the crowd in cheering for Uraku. The fight was pretty fast, but that didn't matter. Uraku would move on to the semi-finals, and Daniel hoped that, if they were lucky, he and Uraku could face each other in the final round. Daniel felt like he'd get annihilated by the big tiger, but after that night in the alley...he kinda wanted it, in a way.

"That was awesome, Ura!" Daniel ran up and hugged the tiger who took of his chest plate off as he rounded the corner from where they parted ways earlier. They met just where they said they'd meet. He was warmer than before nwo, obviously pumped with more adrenalien after the fight. "It was nothing, cutey. Even you could take him." Daniel laughed, rubbing his face into Uraku's chest and giving it a kiss. "I wish we could sit closer together, Ura. But I think your seat is almost all th eway across the field from mine." Uraku smiled down at Daniel, stroking his paw through his hair. Uraku noticed something about Daniel now. He was rubbing against him and stroking his sides as if he was arroused and wanted the big tiger's sex...but the scent of arrousal was absent. Uraku's heart fluttered as he realized what was truly going on. Daniel was in love with him. "Heh...that sucks...well, lets go to our seats. We have to watch the next fight. You'll need to see how Jalhamut fights in case you fight him in the finals." Daniel nodded and reluctantly parted witht he tiger, sighing as he walked up the stairs.

Uraku looked down at his paws that were shaking lightly with...nerves? Uraku had developed somthing for Daniel during the night he kept him warm. He felt not only like his guardian, but his lover. The way Daniel squirmed around in the sheets was just so adorable, Uraku didn't want to let him go all night. Now he realizes that Daniel had feelings for him too. Uraku would wait until the intermission after the last of the round of 8 to confess his feelings for Daniel. Uraku smiled and walked up the stairs, heading to his seat in the MVP aisle.
