Joint Operations**

Sangheili Ultra, Usas Meram, woke to the sound of his alarm clock ringing. Bright yellow eyes blinked in response to the incessant buzzing that filled the room. He let out a tired groan, his free hand reaching outwards to try and turn off the alarm that threatened to give him an early morning headache. After succeeding in silencing the beast, he laid his head back down the pillow knowing full well that he needed to get up. Time was of the essence after all. Today was a special day. Being late would no doubt send a horrible first impression. With a roll of his eyes, Usas sat upright and jumped off the bed. His blanket dropped to the floor, revealing his naked form and his lower half standing in full glory. Thankfully he had his privacy. Being a commanding officer had its perks. He had his own private room all to himself. If today wasn't so important, he'd consider taking the time to take care of his stiff problem downstairs.
The Sangheili jumped into the shower soon after, letting the lukewarm water refresh his body, awaken his mind, and calm his crotch down. Such was the daily routine for Usas. The morning ritual consisted of taking a shower, and soon after suiting up in preparation for the day. 'Day' was an operating word given that there was no sun on the space station he was on. It was just an arbitrary time that everyone agreed upon. He soon left his room.
The trip to the Mess Hall was a quiet one. Due to it being in the wee early hours of the morning, the only personnel that were up and about were the ones who were on the night shift that were nearing the end of their work hours and those that had urgent tasks that needed attending to. It was so quiet you could actually hear the inner workings of the space station itself. How the recycled air traveled through the pipes hidden behind the silver panel walls and the occasional request being blared on the station intercom; about someone needing to check on something. That was the thing about being on a space station: there was always something that needed to be checked. Whether it was something as simple as a light bulb that needed to be replaced or something more crucial, like the generators that powered the artificial gravity. That time when the artificial gravity was disabled due to a malfunction was an experience that Usas would rather not go through again.
Usas pushed the doors open, entering the Mess Hall. He made a beeline towards the food dispensary when he felt someone brush up next to him.
“Good morning."
Usas would recognize that voice wherever he went. “Good morning to you too," he greeted back. It was Spartan-IV, Liena Fortes, his partner in crime. She was in full gear, much like he was, save for the helmet. She reached out to grab a tray and handed one to him. Usas thanked her and the two went down the line and helped themselves to breakfast. Liena had gotten herself a cup of coffee and a pastry while Usas opted for something more heavy: a plate of eggs and a couple of strips of bacon. The two settled on an empty table and began eating.
“Did you get to read the files I sent you last night?"
That was the thing about Liena. She was always business. “Do we really need to talk about this now?" Usas asked. He was trying to enjoy the succulent taste of the bacon on his mouth. Prior to being assigned to this space station, he had never tasted, nor even heard of such a thing. But upon finally eating it, it immediately became his favorite food and lamented how nothing on Sangheilios could ever dare to compare to it. It was one of the many things he had grown to love being with humans.
“Yes, we do," Liena answered. “I need to make sure we're prepared for later."
Usas waved a dismissive hand at her. “You worry too much."
“And you care too little," Liena said. She took a bite out of her pastry. In her hand was a datapad and she was meticulously going over the aforementioned files.
“I care enough," Usas remarked. “And yes, I did read them. There's nothing really out of the ordinary. Just another group that needs to be whipped into shape. So, who's going to do the spiel later?"
A few years ago the notion of a Sangheili and a human interacting in such a casual and friendly manner, let alone working together, would have been the stuff of fantasy. The UNSC and the Covenant were at war with each other, both sides duking it out on the galactic stage. Fortunately for the UNSC, the Great Schism happened. Due to revelations uncovered by the Arbiter himself, Thel 'Vadam, it was revealed that the prophets the Covenant revered so highly had started the war on nothing but lies. Halo, this great construct that the Covenant based the entirety of their religion to seek after that was apparently meant to complete their Great Journey, did the utter opposite. Instead of propelling them to godhood, as per the doctrine of their religion, it propelled them to their deaths as activating Halo would kill all living sentient life. Thus the Sangheili withdrew from the Covenant and forged an uneasy alliance with the UNSC, and together they put an end to the threat of the Covenant once and for all.
This alliance continued on to this day despite the trials and tribulations it had gone through. Obviously not everyone was onboard with the alliance, with some Sangheili naturally distrusting of the humans and the humans harboring the same ill will. Years of fighting, and countless deaths wasn't something you could easily sweep under the rug. Splinter factions amidst the power vacuum left behind after the destruction of the Covenant soon emerged. Ultimately, it was the Sword of Sangheilios that took center stage. Led by Thel 'Vadam himself, he sought out to unify the fractured pieces of the Sangheili, and maintain the good relations they had with humanity. It was through his efforts, diplomacy, and desire to maintain friendly relations with the UNSC was how Cyprys Station came to be.
Cyprys Station was a UNSC space station orbiting above the planet of Kruck. Located at the far edges of UNSC controlled space, both the planet and the station were hidden away from view as it was meant to serve as an open ground. It allowed the UNSC and Sangheili to interact with one another and most importantly as it was the whole point of it all, to train together.
When Usas first heard of the notion, he found it absolutely preposterous. Being an Ultra, Usas had his fair share of seeing the battlefield. He was a devoted Sangheili; a strong believer of the Great Journey and its promise, and vowed to serve the Covenant till the very end. He was there, aboard one of the many ships that were glassing the planet Reach, when the news of Halo being discovered broke. Usas was elated, much like everyone else. They had coveted it for so long, the fact that they were so close to reaching the end was tantalizing. He could actually still remember trying to talk to his superior officer, asking if it were possible for them to try and follow behind the Fleet of Particular Justice.
Unfortunately, their ship was tasked in making sure that no humans escaped. Reach was a human stronghold after all and crippling it was vital to removing the thorn that was humanity on their side. Usas wasn't happy, but he understood. Which was why he was even more frustrated later down the line when the dust settled after Halo's destruction. He was there when they branded Thel 'Vadam as a heretic for his failure in keeping the sacred ring safe. How could he have bungled something so important? It was all because of that demon.
They were all demons. It just so happened that the Spartan known as the Master Chief was the most demonic of them all. Usas heard of the stories. Spartans were humans clad in special armor. They were a cut above the rest of the cannon fodder that Usas normally dispatched. At the time, he wanted nothing more than to cut down the Master Chief himself personally, much like any devoted Sangheili. But then the Great Schism happened. It was admittedly difficult to put aside differences when the news broke out. The Covenant wanted to trigger Halo and upon doing so would result in their total annihilation. Much like many, Usas thought it was propaganda. A last desperate ploy set into motion by the humans to try and stop them when they were just a few steps away from the godhood they so desired.
But it wasn't.
Although Usas was loyal to the Covenant and frankly followed them blindly without question, he knew that the Arbiter was a position given to someone who was the most devoted of them all to their cause. And if he said that it was a lie, there was probably something there. So while Usas didn't trust humanity, he trusted the Arbiter instead. He joined the Arbiter's cause, despite having reservations about the entire thing. Usas fought alongside the marines, always wondering when this fragile alliance would crumble and they would start shooting each other again. It was honestly difficult to have his back to the marines when they were out fighting the Jiralhanae. He always had this sinking feeling that he'd get shot from behind, that moment being the turning point that the alliance was off and once again it was a free for all.
But it never happened.
Sure, the humans had their reservations as well. Some were vocal about it, others shared it with their eyes. It was this look of distrust, mixed in with anger and frustration, and a tinge of restraint. Usas didn't have to ask to know why. There was this lingering resentment that was difficult to stomach. Being in a battlefield and fighting for your life, Usas knew that his survivability lied on both his skill and the cooperation between him and his teammates. Majority of the time Usas was with his team, a group of skilled Sangheili warriors that were all formidable fighters in their own right. But the other time had moments where Usas had to work with a group of marines; when the mission was far too dangerous to be done by themselves and needed the two parties to cooperate with each other.
Throughout the time spent fighting alongside them, Usas had come to give the marines the respect they deserve. They weren't armored and skilled like the Master Chief was. Hell, they didn't even have a combat harness with shields like Usas did. The marines were just normal humans: fragile, easy to break, and even easier to kill. Usas could attest to the statement given that he knew full well how undemanding it was to crush one of their skulls with his foot.
But amidst all that they chose to fight.
Usas watched them charge into battle, fighting against Jiralhane three heads taller than they were and stronger than two of them combined. What the normal marines lacked in strength, they made up for in bravery and tenacity. They refused to give up, fighting not for themselves, but for something more. It was moments like those that made Usas wonder how differently things would have gone if instead of fighting humanity, they were welcomed into the Covenant instead. Would they have been brothers-in-arms? Perhaps. In the end, cooperation between Sangheili and humans was fine. They were all fighters. They knew what the plan was and how to execute it.
Trust was another thing entirely however. When you had this lingering notion to always watch your back, it was difficult to relax. But amidst the uncertainty and uneasiness, Usas made a connection.
That was when Usas had met Liena Fortes, then a Lance Corporal marine. Just one of the many random grunts that Usas had seen come and go. Usas and his team were tasked with working with Liena and her team to clear out an outpost that was being used by the Covenant as a forward operating base. Clearing the place would allow the UNSC instead to take over, and ultimately help them gain more ground while the fighting continues on the Ark. It was arguably just one small blip in the grander scheme of things, but a necessary one nonetheless. The plan was simple: go in guns blazing, maybe throw in some ordnance here and there, and get some well earned rest soon after. It wasn't the most complicated plan. It wasn't exactly the smartest plan either, but it got the job done.
But things don't always go accordingly.
Intel had been faulty for one thing. They were briefed that the outpost was manned by a few Unggoy, a couple of Kig-Yars, and a bunch of Jiralhanae that were armed with the typical loadout consisting of plasma pistols, plasma rifles, and some beam rifles. What was left out however, was the fact that there was a Jiralhanae War Chieftain present. Maybe the marine that was gathering the intelligence was not aware of the differences. Or perhaps there was some miscommunication. Either way, they were not prepared for what was to come. But that was the thing about battles. You had to improvise on the fly.
Unsurprisingly, there were casualties. Liena's team of marines did their best to survive the onslaught. The same went for Usas's. The Kig-Yar's shots were fatally on point that day. One of Usas's brothers had his head blown off clean by a beam of white hot plasma. Some of his blood actually splashed on Usas's pearl white armor. It was a long battle, consisting of them moving from cover to cover to slowly gain ground. The Covenant dug themselves in, refusing to let up. Then the Jiralhanae decided to enter the fray. The humans referred to them as Brutes and it was terribly appropriate. Large lumbering masses that were surprisingly agile and could easily close the gap between you and him in a span of a heartbeat. They fought like wild animals, jumping, diving, and even using the sandy terrain to blind your eyes. An underhanded tactic that the Sangheili scoffed at. Usas had fought many Jiralhanae before. They were tough but not unkillable. But for a normal marine? It was like trying to fight a storm with nothing but a small paper fan. A few of the humans got tossed around, smacking against the rubble with a painful crack followed by an unceremonious thud as their bodies slumped on to the floor.
Usas ran over, firing his plasma rifle until it overheated. It was enough to break the rampaging Jiralhanae's shield but not enough to kill. Thankfully, he had his backup energy sword to finish the job. With one quick slice, the Jiralhanae dropped to the ground.
“Everyone alright?" he asked.
“Corporal Matthew's down!" one of the marines shouted.
“Is that all of them?" Liena asked, loading a fresh clip into her assault rifle.
As if to answer her question, the sound of a guttural roar came from their side. Usas turned his head to see a Jiralhanae War Chieftain run straight at them, in his arms was the classic Type-2 Energy Weapon, also known as the gravity hammer. Liena opened fire, her assault rifle whittling away at the War Chieftain's shield. Usas did the same, squeezing the trigger on his plasma rifle until it once again overheated. Despite their combined efforts, the shield stayed strong. They both scrambled out of the way as the Jiralhanae leaped, swinging his mighty hammer overhead and smacking it onto the ground at where Liena and Usas previously stood. The ground shook underneath the heavy force, dust getting swept up into the air from the resulting shockwave.
Whether it was by random or by choice, the Jiralhanae turned his attention to Usas. The Sangheili barely had time to get to his feet when he heard the heavy footfalls of the War Chieftain. Fighting Jiralhanae was one thing. Fighting a Jiralhanae War Chieftain was another thing entirely. They were savages, and had a high tolerance for pain. They were the powerhouse of the Covenant and with good reason. Usas had heard stories of them bloodied and bruised and brushing it off like they had just been pricked by a needle. Usas was confident in his abilities. But even he knew that fighting this monster one on one was a death sentence. He didn't have much of a choice either. The humans were still gathering their composure and his fellow brethren were still duking it out with the other Jiralhanae. He was given a bad draw.
Usas tried to dodge the swing that came after. But it unfortunately hit him close that the splash damage effect of the hammer sent him flying head over heels. He went deaf for a brief moment and his own grip at his energy sword loosened. It deactivated, flying off far away from him. He landed onto the ground with a painful thud. Usas felt the wind get knocked out of him and he struggled to stand. His blurry vision informed him that the War Chieftain was gunning straight for him. He was going to die if he didn't do something fast. Then Usas saw her. Liena charging straight at the War Chieftain. One hand armed with her assault rifle, the other with Usas's energy sword.
The War Chieftain's shield being weak from earlier, flared before dying out completely as it was utterly spent. Despite this, he powered through the pain, raising his hammer in an effort to finish off the downed Usas. But this never came to be. The bright glow of Usas's own energy sword pierced through the Jiralhanae's chest. He was then sliced in twain, his body falling into two separate heaps to the ground. The smell of charred flesh permeating the air. Liena stood there for a brief second, adrenaline coursing through her veins. Her grip on the energy sword's handle softened and the fail-safe engaged, turning itself off.
“You alright?" she asked, handing the powered off hilt to Usas.
“I…I-I am," he responded. Liena extended a hand and Usas took it, getting back to his feet. “Thank you."
“You're welcome. Besides, you have my back, I have yours."
Usas was surprised at the friendliness. Most humans always treated him at arm's length: respectful and cordial, but always cold and professional. Liena was probably the first one that actually smiled at him; a genuine smile at that. She loaded the last remaining magazine she had on her person and jammed it into her gun. “Corporal Matthew's out. I'm going to have to carry this team on my back," she said. “Let's go!"
Usas nodded. The two of them joined back into the fray, helping the other marines and Sangheili mop up the remaining Covenant forces in the area. It was only later once the dust fully settled and the Pelicans and Spirit dropships arrived to take over the outpost did Usas manage to finally relax. He was seated at one of the nearby rock outcroppings and overheard a few of the marines discussing amongst themselves. It would seem Liena had been the talk of the hour. Her moment with the energy sword was apparently something the majority of the marines wanted to get a shot at but never could. Mainly because they weren't really keen on asking the Sangheili if they could have a swing at it.
A few marines eventually did try to ask if they could borrow it for a short moment. Usas politely declined. It wasn't a toy after all. Come to think of it, no one else had touched Usas energy sword before, human or Sangheili. It was a weapon he called his own, and anyone who dared to take it away from him would have to take it from his cold dead hands. But there was Liena. For whatever reason, her heroics stuck to his mind. Despite the uneasiness and the uncertainty of their alliance, she was willing to trust him. Perhaps they could work together, humanity and Sangheili for that matter.
There was one thing for sure that Usas knew then: Liena was the only person he felt he could trust his energy sword with.
They separated soon after. But the event left its mark on Usas. He began to view humanity more favorably. It was a gradual change, but a change nonetheless. He knew that if someone like him, someone who was warily against the alliance could change their position on it, others could too. It was probably why he was one of the few who were chosen to become the instructors at Cypryrs Station. They needed Sangheili that were veterans of the war and those who've had extensive experience fighting alongside humanity. By then, Usas was part of the Swords of Sangheilios and were working closely with the newly minted Spartan-IVs and the marines. Him being asked was only natural.
His main job was to train both humans and Sangheili in the art of working together.
It was easier said than done. They had their fair share of challenges.
Although some of the marines had prior battlefield experience to guide them, the majority of them were pretty much new. People that felt inspired to join the UNSC after the end of the war with the Covenant. There were a myriad of reasons why the people enlisted but it could best be summed up as them wanting to help in whatever way they can after the tumultuous time of the war. The Sangheili recruits on the other hand also had the same problem: they were new. Because of the fall of the Covenant Empire, all Sangheili that were in service had gone their separate ways. Some turned to mercenary work, abandoning their previous creed for a life with no rules but their own. Others joined a rising faction, that of Jul Mdama's Covenant as they were still loyal to the ideologies of the previous Covenant and refused to give it up. Then there were the veterans, Sangheili who figured it was time for them to retire and thus returned to their respective Keeps to raise the next generation of fighters. These new fighters were the ones that Usas had the opportunity of teaching. They were the Sangheili that were way too young to enlist back when the war was still happening. They weren't terrible by any stretch of the imagination. But they lacked proper battlefield experience and the discipline that came along with it.
Usas could already see it as he watched the new trainees keenly.
He and Liena were tasked in training twelve individuals: six marines, and six Sangheili. Liena was at the front of the group, having decided that she was going to do the spiel for what was to become Dragon Squad. The newly transferred marines stood proud and tall. The UNSC program was very thorough. While you could request to be part of the training program being conducted at Cyprys Station, you would end up being subjected to numerous background checks. Physiological, psychological, and even a sentiment analysis towards the Sangheili were conducted. The last thing the UNSC wanted was to have a marine transfer under the guise of unity, only to enact revenge on the Sangheili due it being fueled by hatred and resentment because of the war. Men and women stood before Liena and Usas. Some had battle scars while others didn't. Some looked young, while others looked like they had served a few tours of duty. From what Usas could remember from the files they were provided earlier, they hailed from different backgrounds. Some from colonial worlds and a few even from Earth itself, the human homeworld.
The Sangheili on the other hand were all young. Usas could see it in their posture alone. For an untrained human, they looked strong and intimidating. But for Usas, these Sangheili were as green as the grass back at home. Their shoulders were slumped and their attention was clearly focused elsewhere. The latter was something Usas could at least forgive. Most of these Sangheili had never left home, or at least the planet for that matter. This would have been their first time being in a different place surrounded by, at least thankfully now, friendly alien creatures.
Liena began her introductory spiel. “I am Spartan-IV, Liena Fortes. That is Ultra Usas Meram. Together, we will be your instructors throughout your stay here at Cyprys Station." The marines saluted whilst the Sangheili placed their hand across their chest and bowed their heads as a sign of respect. “If you have any questions about anything, feel free to field them to either me or Instructor Usas. For now, follow me, so we can give you the grand tour of the place."
0 = 0 = 0 = 0 = 0 = 0
Atsa Zadem's eyes grew to the size of the moon as he stared in wonder and glee at everything around him. Cyprys Station was unlike anything he had seen before. This was a manmade structure and everything starting from its design choices to its overall aesthetic was all new to him. The humans were also something to behold. He had seen humans before, when they had visited Sangheilios and watched him and the others train at their state. But he had never seen this many before in such close proximity. They were all different. Their skin tone, their height, and even their weight varied amongst one another. Some had blond hair, others black, and one was even red. He always thought that they only had one hair color! He never knew humans could have different variations.
Atsa followed behind the rest of the group, eagerly taking in his surroundings as they continued their tour of the place. He was surprised to find that while Cyprys Station was a training facility, it also had amenities that most training facilities didn't have. For one thing, there was a bar. They were informed that if they were off duty, they could spend time here to socialize with their fellow comrades and unwind and relax. If they wanted to instead use the time to train, they could do so with the training arenas located nearby.
“Unfortunately, I can't show it to you for today as part of the tour. It's currently being used by another squad for training. We'll be there tomorrow however, so you'll see it then," Liena announced, much to Atsa's dismay.
The tour had them passing the classrooms, where the humans would be taking Sangheili lessons to help them be familiar with the language and vice versa with the Sangheili taking English to help strengthen their understanding of it. The tour ended with them heading to the barracks section, a few floors down and away from the noisier floors of the station. They were grouped up in pairs as each cabin only allowed two people inside.
The door slid open and Atsa was greeted to a nondescript cabin. Just a small cramped room big enough for him and his roommate. There was a small desk with a surprisingly innovative chair that accommodated Sangheili physique and a closet space built into the wall. A double decker bunk bed big enough for a Sangheili was situated at the other side.
“I suppose we'll be roommates," he began, breaking the ice between him and his new companion.
The Sangheili turned around to greet him, a smile on his face. “I suppose we are. The name's Gali Loram. You are?"
“Atsa Zadem." His brows furrowed. “Have I heard of you before? Your name sounds familiar."
Gali puffed his chest outwards in a visible display of pride. “Perhaps. I am a blademaster." He then corrected himself. “Or at least I'm training to be one."
A Sangheili Blademaster. It was a title Atsa at one point dreamed of having but eventually realized that it was better left as that: a dream. Despite the countless hours he spent training and studying the ways of the energy sword, it never really bore fruit for him. Sure, he could use it and best enemies if needed. But he could never beat his master, a first step of many that needed to be taken if you wanted to achieve the coveted title. “Top or bottom?"
“Depends on who I'm with." Gali chortled at his own joke. He then looked at Atsa from head to toe. “For you, I can go with whatever."
Atsa was taken aback by the comment. “Are you always this forward with your roommates?"
“It's the best way to build rapport."
That was something Atsa couldn't argue with. “I'll take the bottom bunk then," he responded. Atsa preferred being able to get on his feet quickly, especially if their training was super early in the morning. The two then began to unpack their belongings, which wasn't much. Most of what they brought with them were personal effects. Atsa brought his own datapad which he used to write his journals in. Gali was the same, except he used his to read books. The two Sangheili got to talking, sharing stories and getting to know each other better. “So you mentioned that you were training to be a blademaster?" Atsa was lounging on the bottom deck, idly fiddling with his datapad. “How's that going for you?"
“Decent," Gali replied. His legs were swinging over the edge of the bed. “I'm still working on my deflection and parries. But I'm getting there. I nearly bested my master before I was assigned here."
“Is this a personal goal of yours or one for your Keep?"
“Both. I plan to bring honor to myself and for my clan," he answered. “I'm hoping to rise up in the ranks and find a place for myself so that I can come home and be treated as a hero. What about you? Why did you decide to sign up?"
“I find humans fascinating," he answered. “I heard tales of the Demon during the war from the veterans back at home. I wonder if I'll ever meet him in person."
“Didn't the Arbiter say that the Demon was left behind?"
The story of the Arbiter and the Demon escaping from the exploding Arc was the stuff legends were made of. It was a harrowing tale, filled with action and excitement. It was a story most Sangheili could only dream of being able to concoct, much less actually live through. Atsa could only hope that his life would be filled with glory the likes of which could forever be etched onto the walls of his Keep back at home.
“Indeed," Atsa answered. “Still, I find humanity quite curious. I want to work with them, see what they're about. The Arbiter found himself becoming allies with the Demon amidst the turmoil of the war. I would like to see for myself why that is the case."
“You're not scared of them?"
Atsa chuckled. “I think they fear me more."
“As they should! We are stronger warriors than they are. This entire practice with the UNSC should solidify the fact that if we weren't there to ally with them, the Covenant would have easily snuffed them out."
That was a sentiment Atsa found himself agreeing with. Even if it did come across as haughty.
“What do you think of the marines?" Gali asked
“Our teammates?"
“Yes."
Atsa thought for a moment. “I can't say for certain. I asked one of them earlier and they told me that the exercises that were planned were going to be quite a challenge."
Gali snorted. “They told you?"
“Humans are very talky once you get to know them," Atsa responded. “Our instructor is interesting. I've never been taught by a female before."
“Are you worried?"
“I'm more excited. Humans have shown themselves time and time again to be resourceful and tenacious. I look forward to hearing from Instructor Fortes."
The two continued conversing with each other, idly talking and getting to know one another better. It wasn't long until eventually both turned in for the evening. Their training was going to be up early tomorrow morning. Dragon Squad reconvened at the shooting range. It was a large spacious room, big enough to house the numerous racks of weapons that were on display. One side had UNSC weaponry while the other had plasma weaponry. All were locked behind a grate that moved out of the way once Spartan-IV Liena Fortes typed in the access codes.
“Good morning," she greeted. “I figured we'll start off with something simple: firearms. I'm sure everyone here has fired a gun, right?" The joke got a laugh from both the aliens and the humans. “Good. In today's session, you'll be focusing on familiarizing yourself with the various weaponries you would most likely be finding out in the field. When we deploy for missions, we'll deploy with specific loadouts tailored to our liking. But being able to adapt is key. Thus, it is important to familiarize yourself with all the weapons available. This could end up saving your life." She picked up the pistol that was on the table in front of her. It was the standard issue magnum of the UNSC. “This is the M6 Personal Defense Weapon System or as I normally refer to it: 'the ole reliable'. You don't leave home without it. It shoots as fast as you can pull the trigger and packs enough damage to even bring down the toughest of opponents." She then added, “within reason obviously. You're not going to be bringing down a Hunter but between this and having nothing but your bare hands? You'd be happy to have it."
She then grabbed the extra ammo lying around and loaded it into the gun. Her HUD synced with the weapon and informed her of her current ammo reserve. “This gun and everything else here should be synced up with your suits. If any of you are having tech issues, feel free to inform either me or Instructor Usas and we'll get it sorted out." The other instructor in the room, Usas, waved a hand in acknowledgement as he stood at the other side quietly observing.
Atsa looked around, trying to see if everything was in order. They had suited up an hour or so earlier. He was now clad in the typical combat harness. Except this time it was colored green with some red highlights. It was meant to symbolize the union between the UNSC and the Swords of Sangheilios. It was bare however. The harness didn't have its shield regulators activated, a feature the engineering staff disabled for the time being. His helmet was pinging stuff all over the room. He focused on one rack and it informed him about the weapons that were on display, mainly simple information about them like what their names were. His HUD even kindly informed him who the people in the room were.
His attention was focused back to Liena as she stepped up to the plate. Her pistol was locked and loaded and she activated the shooting range. Holographic targets materialized one after the other and she began to shoot them. Blue ones rewarded her with a score of one, while red ones gave her a whopping five. The latter was smaller in size and moved quicker, facilitating a harder challenge. There were also green targets that flicked by every now and then, mixing itself with the blues and the red. They were kindly informed that shooting it would subtract from their score as it was meant to symbolize a friendly ally. Liena shot targets left and right without skipping a beat. Atsa glanced at the rack nearby and checked the information given to him in regards to the magnum. It could shoot twelve bullets before needing to be reloaded. Reload. It was a concept he found absolutely amusing. As someone that spent all of his life working with plasma weaponry, the concept of running out of ammo felt preposterous. The extra weight of needing to carry ammunition felt tedious, especially if you needed to bring ammo for all your guns.
Liena fired the final bullet, watching the blue holographic target visually explode. Her score was then tallied and then displayed into a scoreboard that materialized next to her. She ranked just shy of the highest scoring individual, which belonged to someone only identified with the call sign of 'RB'. It was honestly impressive, and a few in the room recognized it. The marines that were watching gave golf claps while a few Sangheili nodded in approval. Atsa on the other hand scoffed.
This caught Liena's attention, and everyone else in the room for that matter. “You have something to say, Neophyte Zadem?" she called out.
Atsa felt the eyes of everyone in the room. Gali, who was next to him, looked at him as well. Atsa got the sense that Gali had the same opinion as him, however he was smart enough to keep quiet about it. The Sangheili cleared his throat. “I was thinking that you only got a high score because you were using human weaponry."
At the back, Usas shook his head as he smiled to himself. Liena did her best to remain professional. Throughout her service here at Cyprys Station, she had trained numerous squads. And in all of those squads, there was always that one person. She expected it from the marines however. The fact that it came from a Sangheili this time was a surprise to her. From her experience, they were normally quiet and reserved. They weren't one to be so arrogant. But she decided to entertain the thought.
“So you want me to use plasma weaponry then?" The question was rhetorical as Liena walked over to the nearby rack and grabbed herself a plasma rifle. The gun synced up with her HUD and informed her that it was at one hundred percent charge. She stepped up to the plate once again. Taking a deep breath, she then started the session once more. Everyone watched as she fired the gun in quick succession. It was almost like her shots had a certain rhythm to it. Which was needed given the gun's penchant to overheating. Finding this rhythm was difficult for most individuals and even veterans struggled with it. But Liena made it look like child's play. Target after target got destroyed under her barrage of plasma. Her score racked up at a rapid pace. It would seem she had increased the difficulty for this particular session to prove a point. The final shot consisted of her firing at a target that was squashed between four green targets. Pinpoint accuracy was needed, and that was something the plasma rifle wasn't really known for. Regardless, she did it with no trouble whatsoever. It was only then did the plasma rifle fully overheat itself and begin to vent.
Both Atsa and Gali were taken aback at the display of skill. Even more so for Atsa as he considered himself as a sharpshooter. If Gali was studying the ways of the blade, Atsa's forte was with guns. Despite all the hours he had sunk into mastering the plasma rifle, even now he struggled with finding that rhythm that you could ride while feathering the trigger of the gun. How on earth was she able to pull it off so easily?
“I hope I don't need to remind you, Neophyte Zadem, that I am your superior. And I will not tolerate remarks like that," Liena said, looking at him from across the room.
Atsa just bowed his head, both out of shame and acknowledgement of Liena's superiority over him. They were soon broken up into a group. Usas was tasked in helping the marines get familiar with the plasma weaponry whilst Liena was helping the Sangheili work with the human weaponry. All of them ran into the same problem. Atsa picked up the pistol. It looked and felt alien in his hands. Even more so, it was small. It looked like a toy a young Sangheili would play with. His four lengthy fingers struggled to wrap itself around the hilt of the gun. Once he found a comfortable grip on it, he pointed it down the range and pulled back on the trigger. To his confusion however, nothing happened. He tried it again. Nothing. He glanced at Gali who was next to him who was having the same problem.
“Need some help?"
Both turned around to look at Liena walking towards them. The Spartan had a smile on her face. “Uh, yes," Atsa responded. “I can't seem to get it to fire."
It only took Liena one look to realize what was the problem. “That's because you haven't disengaged the safety yet." She then held her hand out and Atsa gave her the pistol. She flicked the safety switch at the side and gave it back. “Try it now."
Atsa aimed down the range and fired at the blue holographic target that appeared. The pistol fired this time and his shot landed the mark. However, the kick of the pistol caught him off guard. He was not expecting it. He staggered slightly back, and he felt Liena quickly support him. “You alright?"
The Sangheili's eyes blinked. “I-I am." He looked at the gun that he held in his fingers. A slight figment of smoke emanating from the barrel. “I was not expecting that."
“I would have been surprised if you were," Liena responded. “Plasma weapons don't have a kickback like that."
Gali next to him flicked the safety off his pistol. This time he braced himself as he fired at the target down range. His first pistol shot was more successful than Atsa's. “Not bad," he remarked.
Atsa fired off a few rounds, getting a feel for the gun. The pistol was lighter than a plasma pistol and it got even lighter as he kept firing as the bullets were being used up. It would take some getting used to for someone like him. He pulled back on the trigger once more but no shots rang out. It was empty. He fiddled with the pistol and managed to slide out the now empty clip of ammo. He placed the empty clip onto the table and reached for another one. “Have you ever considered moving away from this sort of weaponry?"
“We have," Liena answered. “I'm sure the boys in the lab are cooking up something special. Though, they're probably not hurrying."
“Why is that?"
“Why fix something that isn't broken?" she asked. “We kicked Covenant butt easy enough with just the guns we had."
Atsa wanted to say otherwise but found words failing him. True, what Liena said was a good point. In his mind plasma weaponry was superior, but it would have been too arrogant of him to think that the projectile approach of the humans did not have any merits on it; especially with how much success they've had with it thus far. The training session continued onwards, with them moving on from small firearms like the pistol to something more sizable like a rifle and a shotgun. Atsa wasn't a fan of the necessity of reloading and it became ever more apparent when he got to try the shotgun.
His fingers fiddled with the shotgun shells and his mandibles clicked in annoyance as he tried to shove the ammo into the shotgun's magazine loading port. “Who in their right mind thought this was a good idea?" And humans actually used this? The shotgun was devastating in close quarters yet the tradeoff of having to individually insert shells was baffling. Why hamstring yourself with such an apparent weakness that technology can easily address? Human technology advanced in such mysterious ways.
Throughout the training session, Liena was there, helping each and every one of them with any of their inquiries and problems. The Sangheili were quick on picking things up however and eventually required minimal supervision. This allowed Liena to hang back and just watched them experiment with the guns. Let them get a feel for it. She found it amusing however that one of the Sangheili, the one that spoke up earlier, kept taking glances at her. At first she thought she was seeing things. But after one moment of catching him actively doing so but pretending that she didn't notice, she definitely took note. It was Atsa. He was whispering something to the Sangheili next to him that her HUD kindly informed her was Gali.
She found the behavior peculiar and figured to later ask about this to the one person she knew could help fill her in about the matter. But for now, work called and she answered. Once the live fire training session was finished, the group moved onto the next exercise. Liena led them to the training arena, a large spacious room where mats were placed onto the floor to facilitate sparring exercises. This was where marines did melee training and even hand to hand combat, in the event that their weapons jammed or they ever ran out of ammo. This time however, Usas decided to take the lead in the opening spiel.
“Welcome to the training arena," he said, his voice echoing across the relatively empty room. “This is where we'll be training you in the art of fighting with a melee weapon. At the end of the day, guns can only get you so far. A warrior is as good as their hands. Which is why it's important for each of you to be able to learn to fight." He then keyed in the access codes into the datapad that was in his hands and a couple of lockers at the side opened up. Everyone turned their attention to it as Usas took out two weapons. It was a UNSC standard knife and the other was a gadget some of the marines didn't recognize and the other half did. The Sangheili knew it the moment their eyes laid on it.
“This is a knife," Usas said, showing off the combat knife in front of them. The sheen on the blade was visible under the artificial lights of the arena. “Light, reliable, and perfect for close quarters. If you're out of ammo and have to fight a rogue Sangheili, you're better off using this than with your bare fists." He then turned his attention to the other weapon. He paused for a moment before squeezing the hilt in his hands. The crackle of plasma filled the room as the energy sword came to life. The blade vibrated with energy, the hot plasma bending into the iconic shape due to the small magnetic field generators built into the handle. The look of awe was visible in the eyes of the marines and the Sangheili at the side felt their chests swell with pride.
“This is an energy sword," Usas said, continuing his chosen instructor tone. “The traditional Sangheili close quarters weapon. We don't leave home without it. Perfect, elegant, and deadly, many foes have stood before it, and many more have died to it." He then gave the sword a few slashes in front of them, letting everyone hear the whine of the plasma cutting through the air. Liena then walked forward as Usas continued to do a few slashes. Then, to everyone's surprise Usas turned around and stabbed Liena.
Everyone gasped.
The blade went straight through her, exiting out her backside. A look of fear and shock was etched on her face. Usas however remained stone cold, like a killer. No one moved, no one even breathed. Not even when Liena toppled to the ground, lifeless and unmoving. “A drawn weapon demands blood. You must respect it if you have any respect for yourselves."
“Oh my god! You killed her!" a marine cried out.
“I'm not going to die that easily."
Everyone turned their heads back to see Liena standing next to Usas, a cheeky smile on her face. “Relax, marines," she said, trying to calm the panicked marines who were wondering if they should be standing right there at that particular moment. “We have a sense of humor too. The sword is a perfect copy of the real thing. It weighs, feels, and looks like the real deal. But unlike the real thing, it can't hurt you." To emphasize her point, Usas stabbed her once again, the sword going through her. This time she didn't even react, proving the point that it was just a very convincing holographic fake.
The marines looked visibly relieved whilst the Sangheili looked annoyed. It was Gali that voiced their discontent. “Does this mean we can't even practice with energy swords?"
“Oh we can practice," Liena answered. “Although this is fake, through the magic of technology, the boys in the lab figured out a way to allow it to interact with real world objects. I'll spare you the details since it's easier to show it to you."
Liena grabbed an energy sword from the nearby rack and turned it on. This time however, she pressed a setting into the datapad and the color of both her sword and Usas changed on the fly. It went from the typical plasma blue, to a more vibrant red. She and Usas then let the swords touch tips and a visible tactile bump could be seen, much like how it would be if they were using real energy swords. She then stabbed Usas again, and this time the Sangheili visibly grunted. “When they're colored red, they're programmed to override your armor to lock up, simulating what it would be like to take a direct hit. It'll be accompanied by a light electric jolt." She then took out the sword from Usas and his armor released the locks after a few seconds or so. “This is how we'll be able to train you in a safer environment. The last thing we want is for someone here to lose an arm."
“This is a farce," Gali said, feeling insulted at what he was seeing. The energy sword was something to be respected. To see it be reduced from its former glory made his inner Sangheili pride stir in anger. “The pain is necessary for training. It is what stops you from making mistakes. What teaches you to be better." Throughout his time training to become a Blademaster, he had incurred numerous scars all over his body. Some from his own stupidity. Others from numerous sparring sessions done with his master. He firmly believed that all of them were markers of him becoming better with the sword. They were integral to the learning process. To remove them was to disregard a key part of the education.
Liena and Usas glanced at one another. It was like they shared a silent conversation with each other but just through their eyes. Ultimately, Liena turned back to address Gali's comments. “If you believe that, Neophyte Loram, would you be interested in sparring with me?"
Gali turned his head to face her. “Spar with you?"
“Yes," Liena answered. “I like to think I learned a thing or two from training using this methodology. If you believe otherwise, then prove it to me."
Naturally, Gali took her up on her offer. It didn't take long for the two of them to be facing each other, red energy swords in hand. Gali took deep breaths and got into the traditional stance most Sangheili would be familiar with: one foot forward to steady yourself and the other to pounce at a moment's notice. It allowed him to concentrate on this impromptu sparring session. Liena for her sake was lax. Gali could see numerous things wrong with her stance. If you could even call it a stance. She was just standing there. Her grip on the sword was loose and her shoulders weren't even in the proper position. Gali figured she was doing this purposefully to tilt him, making him susceptible to making mistakes.
Usas was at the side, watching intently. He was to serve as the referee. The rules were simple: the goal was to disarm the opponent or render them unable to fight. Everyone else watched with intent. The Sangheili were cheering for their own while the marines were strategically placing bets on who they thought would win. “May I remind everyone here that gambling is strictly prohibited on this station," Usas said, looking at the marines with what was the equivalent of a smirk to Sangheili. “But that said, I would hedge my bets on my partner."
“You have no faith in your own kind?" Atsa asked who was standing next to him.
“I do. But even I know that skill will always trump ego."
Atsa snorted, clearly against Liena's chances. “What skill?"
Usas waved his hand and the match began.
Sangheili teaching dictated that hesitation is death and thus Gali acted accordingly. He rushed forward, closing the gap between him and Liena in a few quick strides. He swung forward, his blade meeting with Liena's as she raised her hand to block him. Simulated sparks flew and the two broke off. Liena then decided to go into the offensive. She charged straight at Gali and unleashed a barrage of slashes. Gali blocked left, right, high, then low. He even had to jump up as Liena tried to be sneaky and sweep his legs. She was surprisingly agile despite wearing the heavy MJOLNIR armor. The fight continued on, with the two seemingly evenly matched. It infuriated Gali. The mere notion that he was having trouble landing a hit on Liena was an insult to his Sangheili pride. How could someone like him, someone who had devoted years of his life to this craft, be struggling this match against someone he considered to be a novice?
He swung. Liena easily sidestepped. Gali countered by trying to be tricky. He turned his miss into a fake and spun on his feet. For every question, there was an answer. Liena blocked it, twisting her hand to accommodate the swing. “That was a cool trick," she said, as they momentarily locked blades. Gali breathed through his nostrils, refusing to even entertain the compliment. Despite physically straining to keep pace with the strength of the Sangheili in front of her, Liena found time to react nonchalantly. “Do you have any other cool stuff to show me?"
Whatever calm demeanor Gali had was thrown out the door. He was being made a fool in front of everybody. He refused to be mocked any further! He roared, breaking their stalemate by pushing Liena back with all his might. He then charged forward, lashing out like a mad beast. Liena bobbed and weaved, no longer meeting his blade. She waited for the perfect chance however and parried at the last moment. The deflection caused Gali to stumble. His eyes went wide upon realizing the mistake. But by the time it registered in his mind, it was already too late. He felt an electric sensation pierce his chest, jolting his entire body. He cried out in pain and his armor locked up. His grip on the energy sword loosened and it fell to the ground. The failsafe triggered and it deactivated itself.
The match was over.
“That skill," Usas said, looking at Atsa who was clearly dumbfounded.
A few of the marines cursed whilst the other half cheered, clearly happy that they won their bets. The Sangheili on the other hand were utterly mortified. They all recognized Gali's skill when fighting. But to see Liena fight back so easily was something they were not expecting. Perhaps Liena's unorthodox training method was superior indeed.
Liena extended a hand out to Gali whose armor now finally unlocked itself. Gali looked at her hand then to her, before inevitably taking it. “You have bested me," he said, feeling shameful of his actions and now realizing his arrogance.
The Spartan tapped him gently on the shoulder. “It just goes to show that you have more to learn. Isn't that why you're here?"
Gali looked at her and nodded. “...I am," he said. Their eyes met and Gali turned to look away after a few seconds, he excused himself, walking back towards the rest of the Sangheili who were quietly chatting amongst themselves.
“Anybody else wants to spar with me?" Liena asked.
0 = 0 = 0 = 0 = 0 = 0
“Do you think I was hard on him?"
Usas turned his head to face Liena. “Who?"
“That Sangheili," Liena said. “The one I sparred with."
“Gali?"
“Yeah." The two were in the lockers. They both stood at their respective places, emptying their personal belongings into the vacant lockers. Liena was grabbing some personal toiletries from the duffel bag she had with her. “What do you think?"
“I'd say you were fair," Usas answered. He turned to face her, leaning his shoulder onto the metal frame. “He was being arrogant and you rightfully put him in place."
Liena nodded. “Him and what was his name? Atsa," she said, remembering the other Sangheili that was acting up earlier. “I'm used to having rowdy trainees but I believe this is a first for me. I thought Sangheili were more of the respectable type."
“We become that with age," Usas answered. “It's normal for younger Sangheili to be hot headed and arrogant. When I was young, I thought I could take on anything." His mandibles then curved slightly, a notion Liena grew to learn was the equivalent of a human grimace. “But then a Major that was commanding my fireteam was quick to remind me of my rank and check my ego." He shrugged. “It's in our nature to prove ourselves, to be competitive."
“I suppose that's why those two were brazen with their thoughts and opinions?" Liena asked.
“Indeed," Usas answered. “It's a behavior common amongst younger Sangheili. They want to test themselves against the best. The never ending desire to improve. Most Sangheili practice the energy sword at a very young age. We consider the scars we get from it to be marks of our dedication and commitment. You can understand why being presented with a friendlier training option would come across as a bit of an insult." Usas then tapped his chest. The techsuit he was wearing disengaged, the fabric loosening all over his body, allowing him to unzip it completely. He eventually folded it and stored it into his locker. Liena could see Usas's body was littered with scars. Majority of them were congregated on his two limbs. The only part that probably didn't have a scar was on his bare crotch.
Liena, much like most of humanity after the alliance was formed, had come to realize that while they had differences, they also had similarities with the Sangheili. One of which was their physiology. Despite being aliens far from the Sol system, the Sangheili lived and breathed in ways similar to humans. They could eat the same food humans eat, with some exceptions here and there, and they could even breathe the same air humans did. Their bodies, albeit looking drastically different from humans, shared the same traits.
Although flaccid, Usas's cock was impressive. The length was enough to make anyone blush and while Liena prided herself in being prim and proper, even she had to admit she was curious to see it fully erect. Such a thought would have been foreign to her years ago. But time had a way of changing your stance on things. She never imagined she'd be lusting after an alien being but here she was. Regardless of her horny thoughts however, she kept it to herself. She was professional after all. That and she wasn't even sure if Usas was interested in her the same way she was to him. They've been friends for a long time now, but not once did Usas ever make any advances. At least not any that Liena would recognize. She wasn't exactly aware of Sangheili mating rituals.
“An unorthodox way of training it may be," Usas said, snapping Liena's thoughts back to reality. “You have improved tremendously. You'd make a good wife to someone someday."
Liena was in the midst of folding away her techsuit into her locker when Usas's comment registered in her mind. “Excuse me?" she asked. The two of them were now fully naked in the locker room.
This broke Usas's calm composure. “D-Did I say something wrong?"
“Why would you think I would make a good wife for someone?" Liena then looked at her own reflection that was visible at the nearby mirror. Was he trying to say that she had child bearing hips?
“Oh!" Usas said, lightly tapping his head for his own mistake. “I'm sorry. I forget at times that humans do not value the same thing we Sangheili do."
“It's fine, Usas," Liena responded. The two of them then began to walk towards the showers. The place was empty save for the two of them. “What do Sangheili value? What qualities would you find attractive?" Liena wasn't sure if she was asking the question because she was curious or if she wanted to know if someone like her was someone Usas would find appealing. Perhaps both.
Usas's answer was plain and simple, to the point where Liena was surprised she had to ask given what she knew of the Sangheili. “Combat prowess," Usas answered. “We are a race that values strength above all. Thus, it is natural for us to find it to be attractive. What good is a wife if they are unable to fend for themselves? Much less keep the younglings safe in the Keep." Liena was glad to hear that the Sangheili weren't misogynists. “Appearances can be deceiving and words can be twisted thus we put more trust in action above all else," Usas continued. “A Sangheili's strength is the greatest marker for their character. We are attracted to it, like Sangheili fishers to Snap-tail."
“I see," Liena commented. A thought then crossed her mind. “If you find strength attractive, do you also get turned on by it too? Like feats of mastery and skill?"
“Of course," Usas nonchalantly answered as he turned to his shower head. “You definitely rocked the balls on those two and every Sangheili in the training arena earlier."
Liena's brow rose. “Every Sangheili?"
Usas was reaching for the valve for the shower when he stopped midway. He turned to look at Liena and smiled at her. “Every Sangheili."
The water sprayed from the shower heads as the two people began to clean themselves. Nothing was more relaxing than warm water to soothe the tired muscles and their aching bodies. Liena reached for the dispenser nearby and squeezed some body wash on her hand and began to lather herself up. Usas did the same. The Sangheili's answer lingered on her mind and Liena found herself wanting to ask more. “Do you ever get lonely, Usas?"
Usas was lathering himself up with soap. “How could I be lonely when I'm stuck with you?"
Liena rolled her eyes and reached forward to lightly jab him on the shoulder. “You know what I meant."
“I don't believe I do."
At this point, Liena wasn't sure if Usas was avoiding the question, playing dumb, not really understanding her line of questioning, or a combination of all three. Either way, she decided to be more forward with it. She was feeling particularly brave. She could see Usas was struggling to reach a portion of his back with the soap and used this advantage to touch him. The Sangheili was surprised at the gesture but didn't shy away. “I meant what I asked," Liena said, speaking up. “Do you ever get lonely being here on Cyprys Station?"
He turned his head to face her, seeing her from the corner of his eyes. “And I meant what I answered: how can I be when I'm with you?" His tone shifted from that of someone joking to that of someone being serious. He faced forward. “If you were asking me about companionship then yes, I do get lonely."
Liena was caught off guard by the frankness. Then again, she should have known better. Sangheili weren't the type to be evasive. “I get by, however. A good book and paperwork can do wonders in distracting you from more personal problems." He turned on the water and began to rinse the soap that was on him. Liena watched as the water dripped down his broad back. It flowed through his battle scars, like water following the course of a channel. “How about you?" he asked.
“I do get lonely too," Liena answered. She reached outwards to brush some suds on Usas's back that didn't get washed away by the water. “Though I can't really act on it."
The statement piqued Usas's curiosity. “And why is that?"
“Most of the people on the station find me rather intimidating," she answered. It was admittedly difficult to find someone to fool around with. Most people would be intimidated by someone marginally bigger than they were and stronger. Liena had to be "careful" with her partners. “Though I have had someone in mind for a while now. I'm just not sure if they're interested."
“Have you ever asked them?"
Liena thought for a moment. “You know, maybe I should." There was a moment of silence before Liena popped the question. “Have you ever thought about having some fun with a human before?"
The question hung in the air for the briefest of seconds. Liena took her shot. She only hoped that she didn't blow it. Usas didn't reply. Instead he responded by turning around. He was met with a surprised look and a light gasp from Liena who saw his previously flaccid cock standing at half mast and was clearly getting harder by the second. For the short moment that Liena was able to take her eyes away from the alien cock, she was able to see Usas seemingly struggling to find the right words to say. Was that a blush on his face? “I have," he said awkwardly. “You are hard to ignore, Liena."
'Hard' was an understatement. Usas's penis could poke someone's eye out. “I can see that."
There was a momentary pause between the two. Both of them were unsure of what to do next despite knowing by this point that they wanted the same thing. Liena figured to take the lead. “May I?" she asked.
Usas nodded.
Liena wasn't a stranger to sexual encounters. She had her fair share of fun romps. It just so happened that they lessened after she became a Spartan. But all of them paled in comparison to what she was looking at in front of her. She had seen a Sangheili penis before. She and Usas had showered numerous times prior. But she had never seen it erect. It was interesting to say the least. Sangheili cock resembled that of a human penis but was naturally shaped differently. The bulbous head was more pointed and tapered and the shaft had more pronounced bumps and a distinct texture to go along with it. It throbbed and felt warm when she touched it, accompanied by Usas taking a deep breath. Liena could barely wrap her hands around the pole, finding her middle finger struggling to meet her thumb. The length was also impressive, being longer than any of the most hung men she ever had the pleasure of being with. She gave the member an experimental jerk only to find herself rewarded by having the tip begin to blubber out a slimy fluid akin to that of precum. “Someone seems excited," she said, smiling at Usas.
“Your touch feels electric," he muttered, closing his eyes and feeling a shiver go down his spine.
It now occurred to Liena that this was a unique experience for him as well. She was going to be his first human. She oddly felt a sense of pride at the idea and found herself wanting to make this experience unforgettable. Liena used her other free hand to explore Usas's nethers. With his cock being bigger than what she was normally used to, it only served to be natural that his balls were just as bigger too. Two sacks hung at the base of his shaft, one sagging more than the other. It seemed that particular trait was universal. She reached outwards and cupped them. This made Usas's legs buckle slightly and he ended up falling back against the wall for support. “W-what are you doing?" he asked, his tone of voice shaking.
“Getting a feel for the goods," she answered slyly. She let her fingers rhythmically drum against the leathery sacks, noting the odd yet somehow familiar texture. She then opted to go for a gentle but firm squeeze. Usas's cock throbbed in response, spurting more precum into her fingers. He was like a faucet. “I can see that you like that a lot."
“By the rings, I've never felt that before," he muttered.
Liena smiled, glad to see that Usas was enjoying this as much as she was having fun exploring his body. She did make a mental note to ask him later about it. Did Sangheili not do foreplay? Liena noted the viscous fluid that was now beginning to drip down Usas's shaft. It even went over her fingers. She freed her hand and stuck her tongue out to get a taste of it. Precum normally tasted salty and tangy. This was surprisingly sweet. Almost reminding her of syrup. It lit up her taste buds. She opted to go directly to the source. Usas was slack jawed as he watched Liena stick her tongue out and get a taste of his cock directly. If the sight wasn't enough to make him lose control right then and there, the sensation of her tongue kissing his engorged tip nearly did. Doing sexual things with mouths wasn't part of the Sangheili sexual playbook so everything Liena was doing was blowing his mind. He gasped for air when Liena opened her mouth and began to suckle on his cock. He rested his head on the wall, letting go of the breath he didn't know he was holding. He cursed in Sangheili.
“Had I known this was the pleasure I would get…I would have propositioned you sooner."
Liena swirled her tongue around the swollen tip. It was fascinating to feel the distinct texture on her tongue accompanied by the peculiar taste. She stopped, feeling the cock throb in her hands. “What made you hesitate?" she asked, looking up at him.
Usas looked apologetic. “I wasn't sure you were interested."
It would seem the feeling between them was mutual. Liena then went back to what she was doing, reinvigorated that this was definitely something the both of them should have done a long time before. She gripped Usas cock, slowly jerking the big shaft with her hands. She could feel her mouth stretch to accommodate the larger than normal cock. It was a challenge to say the least, something she unfortunately knew that she wouldn't be able to take anytime soon. If at all, depending on her gag reflex. But that didn't mean she wasn't going to try. Liena opened her mouth and took Usas cock in. Usas watched as inches of his cock disappeared down Liena's throat. Such a sight was something he never imagined you could do. Mainly because Sangheili jaws had a lot of rather sharp teeth. How Liena was able to take him in her mouth without hurting him was something to behold. He just knew by then that this was something he would miss tremendously. For now, Usas just focused on enjoying the moment.
Liena stopped around a third of the way down Usas's cock. She had succeeded in taking the entirety of his tip down her throat but there was still a long way to go. She wanted to keep going further but her gag reflex was already disagreeing with her. She opted to just focus on where she was at, rolling her tongue around and applying all the tricks she picked up along the way to make Usas's first blowjob to be the most memorable. Throughout all of this, she could feel her own nethers leaking down below from the excitement. She knew first hand how big Usas's cock was given it was in her mouth. She could only imagine what it would be like ramming deep inside her. She was actually concerned if it would fit. But despite that she was up for the challenge. She focused however upon noticing Usas's cock throb once more, this time squirting heavy amounts of precum down her throat. He was getting more responsive now. She could actually feel his hips moving forward in an attempt to join her rhythm. But the deep guttural groans coming from the Sangheili's throat informed her that he was clearly at his limit. Liena wanted to see this for herself.
She doubled her efforts, jerking Usas frantically. The Sangheili tried to warn her but words failed him. His warning ended up morphing into a feeble plea. She was relentless in her action and it didn't take long for Usas to reach his limit. He ejaculated soon after, an explosive mess of fluids exiting the tip of his cock and careening straight for Liena's throat. The warm liquid dripped down her throat. It was thick, gooey, and there were a lot of them. So much that it caught Liena off guard. He was like a firehose, relentlessly emptying the contents of his balls onto her. Liena feared that she might actually drown. The sheer volume of it was too much for her and she had to disengage. She couldn't gulp it all down. Usas cried out, his cock throbbing painfully as he rode out the last bits of his climax. He ended up painting Liena's face with his hot seed. He was a panting mess by the end of it.
Both were quiet as they took a moment to regain their composure. Liena had to wipe the cum that was on her face. Sangheili cum was thankfully not that different from a human's. It tasted good too as she licked her fingers clean. “You were definitely pent up," she said, letting out a smile.
Usas smiled apologetically. “We should get that cleaned off of you," he responded. He then helped her up and the two shared a quick rinse in the shower together. They both felt like they had crossed a line that they definitely couldn't go back on anymore and that was a problem. Usas was even more forward now, his hand actually roaming downwards to squeeze Liena's backside. “Do you want to continue this somewhere more comfortable?"
Liena gave him a knowing smile.
As the two of them eventually stepped out of the shower and back into the locker rooms to towel off and eventually get their belongings, they were both unaware that someone else was privy to their private moment. Back at the far corner of the showers was a shadowy figure, hiding from view. He revealed himself to be Gali. The younger Sangheili was beside himself. He was breathing heavily as the scene he bore witness to was something he never imagined he would ever see. Even more so, he never thought he'd find it alluring.
By the Forerunners, he was stricken by lust and jealousy, as evident by his painfully throbbing lower half.

Atsa was lounging on the bottom bunk, trying desperately to relax but finding the book he was reading on his datapad failing to distract him. His mind kept going back to the training session they had prior. Specifically, focusing heavily on their Spartan instructor, Liena. She was amazing out there and he was absolutely smitten. He tried to stop thinking about her but his mind kept reminding him of her strength and skill. Both aspects that he found absolutely attractive. His body even reflected the notion, feeling his loins stir once more. He let out a frustrated sigh, minimizing the book he was reading and momentarily staring blankly at the datapad. After a moment of silence, he decided to humor himself. Ever since the war finished relations between Sangheili and humans slowly repaired itself. Because there were efforts to become stronger allies by working together, it was only natural for both parties to be interested in wanting to know how compatible the two species were. Compatible in every sense of the word.
Studies were made, published and accessible for those who were curious to read them. Atsa never imagined he'd be looking up this information to sate his question on whether his interest in their Spartan instructor was actually viable. But stranger things have happened. He opened one article and read whether Sangheili could actually mate with humans.
That was when the door to his small room opened.
“Oh hey, you're back," he said nonchalantly. He noticed that Gali was standing stiffly at the door. “Are you alright?"
Gali remained quiet for a bit, the door closing behind him. It was when it was firmly locked into place did he speak. “No, I am not."
“What happened?"
“I think I just saw something I shouldn't have seen."
Atsa perked up. Gossip was something Sangheili looked down on as they considered talking about someone behind their back unbecoming. But it was irresistible nonetheless. “Go on?"
Gali sat next to him on the bed. “I saw Instructor Liena and Instructor Usas doing something in the shower. She was…she was…" Gali tried to find the right words. It was clear that they were doing something sexual, especially with how much of a mess Usas did afterwards. But such an act was something he had never seen before. Was that something only a human could do? “I think she was sucking him off."
Atsa sat up straight, clearly paying more attention. “Are you for certain?" he asked seriously. “Where did you see this? Was this why you took so long to get back? Was she using her mouth?"
The Sangheili just gave him a look.
“What?" Atsa said. “I'm interested in her as much as you are, alright?"
Now it was Gali's turn to be taken aback. “And what makes you say that?"
“I can see your cock bulging against your tunic."
Gali looked down and sure enough, it was true. He was hoping that his lower half would have calmed down already from the walk back from the showers but if anything, it was still as hard as it was previously. He just sighed. “Fair enough." He looked at Atsa. “Want to help me with it?"
Atsa pondered the proposition. He knew full well that he himself wasn't going to get some rest with his lower half aching for some attention. “Alright, come here."
It wasn't long till both Sangheili were undressed fully and were enjoying each other's company. Such an act wasn't uncommon for them and if anything was greatly encouraged. It helped strengthen bond and camaraderie between warriors. There was no shame in it. Gali was at the bottom whilst Atsa was on the top. Both were quiet, save for the occasional grunts and moans that escaped their lips. Atsa nipped at Gali's shoulders, the equivalent to that of a Sangheili kiss, as he explored his companion's body. He slowly went down, gently biting at Gali's chest as he made his way lower and lower. He eventually stopped at Gali's crotch, firmly nuzzling the Sangheili's erect member. He stuck his tongue out, finding the notion odd but somehow exciting. “She was doing it like this?"
Gali shivered, his voice shaking and his tone wavering. “Y-yes…" He cursed under his breath. No wonder Usas was having an out of body experience. This was something equivalent to that. Atsa for his part was cautious in what he was doing. He was following what Gali told him he saw Liena was doing. But since his jaw was filled with nothing but sharp teeth, he could only go so far. He eventually opted to give his companion a handjob, an act that is far more vanilla but most importantly doable for Sangheili. The two of them laid next to each other on the bed, hands on each other's cock. They were frotting. Atsa wrapped his hands around Gali's cock, noting that he was average in terms of length but packing in terms of size. Atsa could barely wrap his four long fingers around the girthy member. In contrast, he was more endowed in terms of length than thickness. Atsa smiled to himself as he lovingly jerked off Gali. Gali noted the smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
“What's so funny?" Gali mused in between a low moan.
“Maybe I should have been the blademaster between the two of us," Atsa said teasingly at Gali.
“Oh spare me," Gali said, squeezing Atsa's cock in annoyance. They were quiet for a moment, the silence only being broken by the occasional grunt and moan here and there. It was Gali who later spoke up. “Do you think we should ask her?"
“Ask who?" Atsa asked, though the answer already came to him. “Liena?"
“Yeah." He drummed his fingers on Atsa's cock, wiping away the precum that had now dripped from the Sangheili's throbbing member. “I kind of want to do it."
“If it helps, brother, I'd be right there with you," Atsa answered. He increased his rhythm on the throbbing member. Gali grunted, feeling his climax coming. He didn't hold back whatsoever. He wanted this badly. He needed the relief after what he had seen back in the shower. Gali came soon after, releasing spurts of his white hot seed and spraying them directly onto Atsa. The Sangheili happily continued to jerk him off as he rode through his climax, eventually stopping when Gali was panting heavily and exhausted. It took a moment for Gali to recover, but he returned the favor to Atsa.
The two were a mess but neither cared. They were just happy to find some relief from the lustful spell that was cast onto them by their Spartan instructor.

The next day came.
Dragon Squad reconvened once again for another round of training. Much like before, their training consisted of more firearms practice and a sparring session. Unlike the day prior, Liena noted that there were no more interruptions. Not even a questioning glance from Atsa who questioned her authority previously. If anything, she noted the glances she got from the Sangheili were more of interest rather than insubordination. A lot of them took whatever chances they could to try and speak with her. Even if it was asking a simple question that they themselves would have known already. She wondered if they were doing this to annoy her but it was when she thought about what Usas told her back at the showers did it come clear. They were infatuated with her. They were like young school boys all clamoring for her attention. The most obvious advances came from Atsa and Gali but they showed it in their respective ways. The former asked if she was interested in having a competition, wondering who between the two of them could score the highest. Liena entertained him, both firing at the targets that materialized in front of them. Much to Atsa's displeasure, Liena blew him out of the water. For whatever reason his plasma gun kept overheating, costing him precious seconds where he could have been firing at targets instead.
Gali did the same, challenging her once more for another bout of sparring. He was relentless, clearly learning a lot from the day prior. Liena actually had to be serious for a brief moment since she didn't want to risk losing to him. She eventually came out on top after a scuffle with Gali ended with her successfully disarming the Sangheili. He looked frustrated, but wasn't angry. It would seem he still had more to learn.
The training session ended and everyone dispersed. Liena eventually found herself arriving at the bar located at the leisure deck of Cyrprys Station. Light and upbeat music was playing, painting the entire area with a calm, chill, and most importantly, laid back atmosphere. The name of the bar, the Other Side, was the place where the people in the station came out to relax and unwind after a tiring day. This was the only place where booze was served thus this was where most congregated. Unlike the majority of the space stations handled by the UNSC, Cyprys Station was one of the few space stations where the rules were more lax. This was done so in order to accommodate the differences between the Sangheili and the humans. One of the rules that weren't as heavily enforced was the idea of fraternization. The decision was made in part to help Sangheili and the humans form closer bonds with each other, even if those bonds developed to having sexual connotations.
Liena found herself by her lonesome at the bar. She was honestly hoping to catch Usas here for the evening. She wanted a repeat of what happened the night prior. Unfortunately, Usas was nowhere to be found. Perhaps there was something he needed to attend to. Thus, Liena just found the only company she had with her was the glass of liquor that was served to her by the bartender. She was feeling feisty. If she couldn't have a good evening once more with Usas, perhaps she could try her luck with someone else.
As if to answer her plight, she could feel a presence behind her. She turned around in her seat to see two Sangheili standing before her. Both were in their civilian outfits, tabards that they had brought over from Sangheilios. She recognized the two as Atsa and Gali. “Evening boys. What can I help you with?"
“We were wondering if you desired companionship tonight."
Straight forward and frank; if there was one thing Liena appreciated about the Sangheili was that they weren't afraid to voice their opinion. If this was a human, they'd have tried buying her a drink first. Liena took a sip from the drink she was having before she answered. “Aren't you a bit adventurous in asking someone like me?"
“You're the one that caught our attention the most," Gali answered.
“That and we're concerned that the marines would be too fragile," Atsa added.
Liena briefly glanced around the bar, taking note that Usas wasn't there yet. She then turned back to the two in and smiled. “Alright then. Let's go have a good time."

It didn't take long for the trio to arrive at Liena's quarters. The first thing that Atsa and Gali noticed upon entering the room was how big it was. This felt like a proper cabin and made their sleeping quarters look like a broom closet. There was a big bed at the center; it would be a tight squeeze for the three of them on it but that didn't seem like a problem. There wasn't much else in the room. A desk here, a walk in close there, and a shelf nearby that contained Liena's personal effects.
“Are you two going to keep staring at my room or are we going to do this?"
Both Sangheili turned their heads to see that Liena had undressed herself halfway. Whether she did it on purpose to give the Sangheili a show or not was left to interpretation. Either way, when she saw their eyes trained on her body, she didn't shy away at maybe adding a light tease by slowly removing her techsuit. The synthetic fabric slid off her body, revealing first her shoulders, then eventually her breasts which happily bounced outwards as they were free from the tight form fitting suit. She could see in their eyes a multitude of emotions: mainly curiosity and lust. She was happy to indulge them.
Atsa and Gali undressed as well, taking off the tabard they were wearing. Liena found it difficult not to stare as the two Sangheili men stood before her. They were physically fit and able, which was to be expected. What drew her attention the most was what swung between their legs. Atsa's cock was impressive. He could have probably given Usas a run for his money, easily reaching past the midpoint of his thigh. Gali was the complete opposite. What Atsa made up for in length, Gali instead made up for in thickness. He was wide as an oversized beercan. The sheer heft of it was something to behold. Liena actually wondered how it was able to hold the half mast given how heavy it looked.
There was a moment pause, the two men in the room seemingly unsure of what to do next. Liena could see the desire in their eyes but the hesitation was there. Letting out a sigh, she decided to take the lead. “Why don't you two get on the bed and I'll make you feel good. How's that sound?"
Atsa and Gali looked at each other before following through on Liena's suggestion. The bed creaked slightly under the combined weight of the two grown Sangheili but otherwise sustained itself. Liena could see that the two were already getting turned on just by looking at her. Their cocks grew stiffer by the second before eventually standing up like good gentlemen. She then got on her knees and lightly fondled them, immediately eliciting a response from both males. She worked her magic with her fingers, noting the difference in taste between the two. Atsa was someone who liked to be handled a bit roughly while Gali was someone who preferred to be gentle. It was a difficult task, having to juggle different approaches but Liena was up to the challenge. She kept her grip on Atsa's cock firm and tight while soft and gentle with Gali. The latter was a blessing given that she found it difficult to close her hand around the Sangheili's girthy member. She wondered how it would feel going up inside her. Noting the subtle hip thrusts the two were doing into her hand, she figured she didn't have to wonder long. She leaned forward, going for Atsa first and having her face hover close to his cock. Then, she went for it, opening her mouth and taking in the alien appendage. Despite having prior experience already with someone like Usas from the night prior, sucking Sangheili cock was still a challenge. The odd yet familiar shape helped but everything else was something that could be said as an acquired taste. But Liena persevered. She was going to have fun this evening and she was going to make this a night these two were never going to forget. She momentarily removed her hand from Gali (who let out a cute whimper) to use it to fondle Atsa's plump looking balls. She was rewarded with a healthy spurt of pre from the virile Sangheili. It would seem that Sangheili have an inherent weakness to having their balls played with. She tugged and squeezed at them, making Atsa squirm. Her mouth was fully busy, using her tongue to swirl at the head before traveling it up and down the entirety of the shaft.
She could feel every bump and ridge afforded to her by the veins on Atsa's cock. She noted the particular feel of the Sangheili's penis, trying to imprint it on her mind. After a few minutes she backed off, sensing Atsa breathing heavily and feeling his cock throb deeply in her mouth. She then turned her attention to Gali. Gali was easy to please. Just the light sensation of her hot breath was enough to make him leak like a faucet. He was an excitable one and Liena knew she had to be careful. She lightly fondled him, making it a point to be gentle but firm. The girth of his cock was impressive, and Liena genuinely wondered if it was something she could fit in her mouth. She wasn't one to back down on a challenge. Trying to take it in stretched her jaw to the fullest. It was like trying to down an oversized hamburger but you had to do it without biting it into smaller pieces. It actually hurt a little so she had to pace herself slowly. But she succeeded and Gali thanked her for it by letting out a long drawn out moan. Atsa was next to them, idly jerking himself and watching this entire effort unfold.
“I never knew human mouths could make you feel so good," Gali said leaning back onto the bed.
Liena appreciated the compliment and kept going. It was an effort on her part to work her tongue around the entirety of Gali's cock. But she made do. She used her hands to firmly squeeze the Sangheili's cock, earning her a spittle of precum that left that sweet taste in her mouth. It didn't long for her to need to back off lest she risked Gali blowing too early. When he was about to, she switched back to Atsa. She kept this pace between the two, switching whenever they were right at the edge. She was teasing them and it began to show. The two were getting slightly annoyed at being denied release. By the end when they were truly well worked up and ready did Liena decide to stop the foreplay and move to the main event.
“While I'm an adventurous gal, I don't think I can take the both of you on at the same time," she said. “Who wants to go first?"
Atsa and Gali looked at one another. Given that this was Gali's idea, Atsa deferred to him. It took a bit of maneuvering as the three of them got onto the bed but they managed to find good positions for themselves. Liena opted to go for something that would be easy for her and the Sangheili: doggy style. She got on all fours and hiked her ass up, presenting it to Gali who clicked his mandibles in excitement. Atsa was at the front, leaning back by the headrest and letting Liena's front half practically serve him.
Gali admired Liena's backside. It was smooth. Human skin had this weird ability to be tout and yet soft, malleable to the touch yet firm. The texture was different as well. It wasn't scaly and rubbery like how typical Sangheili skin was. It was alien. And the thought was enticing to him. He grabbed a handful of Liena's ass, loving the sensation of how bubbly it was in his hands. Not even the hottest females back at Sangheilios could sport backsides like this. For his part, he took it slow. He wasn't sure how humans had sex but he had a good inclination on what to do when he saw the fluids dripping from Liena's cunny that was making a mess on the bed. He moved onto her, the bed creaking under the weight of the full grown adult. He lined himself up, lightly teasing her by rubbing his tapered cock at her dripping slit. By this point Liena was focusing on pleasuring the Sangheili in front of her, Atsa. She was offering her mouth to him, licking the entirety of his shaft when she stopped what she was doing when she felt Gali enter her.
Liena wasn't a stranger to taking cock before. Big, small, long, wide; she had her fair share of experience with them. And while this would technically be her first time taking Sangheili cock, the size was something else completely. Gali was entering her slowly but to Liena, it felt like shoving a log of up her snatch and jamming it up there. She already could feel her body stretching in an effort to accommodate the large piece of flesh going inside her. She took deep breaths, steadying herself because she knew there was still more in store for her. The whites on her knuckles actually showed as she gripped the bed sheets tightly. Liena did her best to focus her attention on Atsa's cock but even that was not enough to distract her from Gali's fat cock. Gali for his part was having the time of his life. Liena's body was unlike anything he had ever experienced before. The way she was squeezing his shaft was something he never imagined a body could do. No female had ever done something like this for him. He continued to keep pushing forward, being mindful of Liena's grunts and groans. She was a trooper, as she eventually succeeded in taking him down to the hilt.
“Give me a moment," she said, doing her best to adjust to the size inside of her. A few seconds later, she nodded, giving Gali the go ahead. The Sangheili took this as his cue to begin his thrusts. Slow and steady, he opted to take it at a very slow pace to slowly let Liena get more comfortable with his size. That and mainly because he loved how tight she was. He could feel every part of her. He could even feel the sensation of her heart beating no matter how odd that may seem. Atsa on the other hand felt like a kaidon. He leaned back on the bed headrest, his mandibles splayed as he let out a throaty growl. Liena's tongue was immaculate. There was never anything like it in the world. If he had known that humans could do such wonders, it made him question why he didn't proposition them for risque romps sooner.
The ménage à trois continued like a well oiled machine. Liena was busy on both fronts. Gali was becoming more and more confident, soon increasing the pace of his thrusts to the point where Liena rocked back and forth like a piston. Atsa himself was becoming more active as well, even going so far as to put his large hands atop Liena's head. He wasn't being pushy or anything but it was enough to signal to Liena to double her efforts. She wasn't one to disappoint. All good things had to come to an end however when Gali's thrusts became erratic. His breathing was labored and his control was slipping. It didn't take long for him to reach his limit. Ropes upon ropes of white hot seed ejaculated itself from his alien cock, emptying the contents of his balls into Liena's pussy. The sheer volume of it caught Liena off guard and she could feel the warmth radiating from her entire body. Throughout all of this Gali continued to thrust, the excess dripping down the sides of Liena's thighs. She herself reached her own climax though she could not voice it out properly. She ended up just moaning into Atsa who was just watching the lewd display in front of him and loving every single moment of it. Atsa decided to let Liena catch a breather, having her removed herself from his cock and pant helplessly as her body was wracked by her own orgasm. Her knees and hands shook and she closed her eyes as a wave of it traveled all over her. Atsa couldn't help himself. She looked so perfect and it made him relentlessly jerk himself off to completion. He pointed his throbbing cock at her face and without warning ejaculated all over her. Fresh spunk made a mess of things as it sprayed all over her, hitting all of her facial features. It got to a point where her entire face was covered and she smelled heavily of masculine musk.
The climax of the three individuals lasted for a solid minute, all three just basking in the afterglow of their evening escapades. It was Gali who collapsed soon after, having removed himself from Liena and flopping onto the bed next to her. Liena was next, just laying next to him on the bed in an exhausted mess. She could feel the Sangheili's cum swirling inside her and leaking out of her folds.
Atsa milked himself dry, squeezing the last remaining of his cum out from his cock before laying his head back on the headboard. His mandibles splayed themselves as he breathed heavily. None of them talked for a cool minute, each just breathing heavily and trying to regain their composure.
It was Liena that broke the silence.
“So what do you think?" she asked, looking at Gali.
Gali thought for a moment. “I'm going to need another try just to be sure."
“I second that motion," Atsa responded.
Liena just smiled. “Good. Don't disappoint me now."
The two weren't planning on failing their superior officer.
What soon followed was a wild evening consisting of the trio enjoying each other's company to the fullest. Liena was happy to find that Sangheili refractory periods were shorter than humans. This was made clear to her when she found Gali grinding against her, his cock already stiffening once more. With the initial rush of things out of the way, the evening's events were more relaxed and laid back. Liena found herself laying back on the bed, splayed out and spread eagled whilst Gali happily fucked her. The Sangheili was breathing heavily, enjoying the second round. To Liena's surprise, Atsa moved off the bed. At first she thought he was going to clean up but then she saw that Atsa moved into position behind Gali.
“Mind if I join?" he asked rhetorically as he lined up his erect cock up Gali's backside and inserted himself. Gali just grunted, his rhythm momentarily being broken by the sudden interruption.
Liena found the sight amusing, noting the camaraderie between the two. “I take it that this is a typical bonding activity for Sangheili?" she asked out of curiosity.
“It isn't for humans?" Gali asked in between grunts. Atsa was feeling particularly rowdy by going deeper than he normally did.
It would seem that while the Sangheili were behind in some sensibilities, they were very open and inclusive in others. Perhaps humans could learn a thing or two from them. The sexual affair in the room was soon charged up once more when Gali picked up pace. Liena knew if it weren't for that she was augmented, Gali would have probably crushed her pelvis with how hard he was going at her. The bed rocked back and forth, easily banging against the wall. Liena only hoped that her next door neighbor wouldn't mind the ruckus.
Gali ejaculated unceremoniously, emptying himself into Liena's already well used vagina. Atsa soon followed, his cum leaking out of Gali's ass and dripping down the Sangheili's thighs.
Their escapades continued well into the evening. Liena herself lost track of time. At one point they moved away from the bed and opted to just start fucking her against the wall. Gali this time was the one who took a breather, watching from the sidelines as Atsa pushed Liena into the wall and was supporting her lower half with her arms as his hips continued to thrust into her. There was a short break somewhere in there with them just laying on the bed, idly molesting each other's bodies by getting handsy. Gali and Atsa were playing with Liena's breasts while she herself was lightly jerking the two off. Passing conversation happened during the lighter moments.
“Is fucking what you guys do to help pass the time during slipspace jumps?" Liena asked.
“Yes."
The more she learned about the Sangheili, the more Liena knew that humanity really didn't know the Sangheili all that well. Humanity knew them to be fighters and strong warriors. They never would have imagined them to be so open sexually. Liena went to sleep hours later, wondering how things were going to go from here.
