The following morning, Jadyn woke before Deryck and Roaz returned to the lab. When she heard the elevator, she ran to the far corner of the lab, the only part of it in shadows. She crouched low, not wanting to see disgust in Deryck's eyes when he saw her. She was certain she looked hideous after all the pain she went through in her transformation the night before. She heard the motor of the elevator come to a stop, and kept hidden in the shadows. Though her eyes were reflecting the light from the rest of the room, giving away her hiding place.

The elevator ground to a halt at the bottom, and the metal doors slid back, admitting Roaz and Deryck to the room. This morning, he was dressed in a lab coat over his normal clothing, and he held a portable computer in his paw, tapping the screen. He put it down on a table just inside the glass doors as they opened, and his sharp eyesight reviewed the room. Bayleigh was twitching and writhing in her restraints, making sounds varying from a whimper to a shriek as she did, poor Darya had evidently passed out from her torture, for the first time, and was slumped in the restraints as the machine kept on going. Alix was breathing softly on the table where he had left her, and though he looked for Jadyn, he did not see her at first.

Roaz scented the difference in the air, a strangeness that was familiar, yet not. Her hackles rose as a growl slipped from her throat. She stalked into the room, padding around until the scent led her to the dark corner, and the single pair of glowing eyes it held. She barked, then sprang at the intruder in the darkness, and the newly turned wolf-ess growled back at her, as her arm came up to keep those lethal jaws of the husky's from her throat. The wolfess rose to her full height, which was still the same as it was before her change of form. She was not going to back down from this fight.

Roaz pounced at her old mistress, though all she could see was the black fur, the eyes that glowed. It looked like something that wanted to take away her Deryck, but it smelled like Jadyn. If it was Jadyn, then it was about time to show her who was boss. The husky was deflected by Jadyn's upraised arm, but dove for the legs next, trying to bite her ankles and scratch at her skin. Deryck whirled toward the sounds of their clash in the back of the room. His enhanced eyesight picked up their movements, but he could only recognize Roaz. The other form in the darkness was moving too much to be able to see it clearly. He began to move in that direction, slowly, trying to make sense of the commotion and wondering where Jadyn was in all of this.

Jadyn growled at the husky again, jumping up as the dog aimed for her legs, then scooped her up and threw her out of the corner. The action was not meant to truly hurt Roaz, but to get her to back off. Jadyn saw Deryck coming towards her, and jumped onto a cabinet in the corner.

She finally spoke, the voice that of Jadyn but slightly rougher, more of a growl then a seductive tone. "Deryck. Don't come closer. Something happened, and after the pain, I know I look hideous."

Roaz leapt back at her, and Jadyn grabbed her throat, then pulled the husky's back against her chest. She growled loudly at Roaz, tightening her claws against the husky's throat. Roaz's eyes went wide and she began struggling frantically, whining and whimpering, staring at Deryck with clear fright in her glassy orbs. She was writhing from lack of air, her tail beating upon Jadyn to let her go, trying to yip as her throat was constricted.

The wolfman halted in his tracks as he heard her voice. It instantly clicked with him, what he was looking at. It was Jadyn. He could see her somewhat, though she was covering herself with Roaz's body. Her begging did not make sense, he wanted to see her, for goodness sakes. It had worked, his serum was a success with her. He could have crowed for joy, if it was not for the fact that the wolfess was nearly killing Roaz.

He raised his hands. "Jadyn, put Roaz down. Now!"

Jadyn growled at Roaz, then dropped the husky to the ground, dropping herself into a crouch. She was ready to pounce if he came any closer to her, and she knew that Roaz was not yet done with this battle. Her suspicion was proven right when Roaz jumped at her, trying to pull her down to assert her dominance over Jadyn. Instead of pulling Jadyn down, though, the wolfess jumped down, then pinned Roaz beneath her, closing her jaws around the husky's throat. Her tail flicked back and forth, her ears swiveling as she listened to see if Deryck moved any closer to her. A low, threatening growl issued from her throat as she held Roaz beneath her.

Deryck stayed put, he saw the signs in her, he knew what she might do if he tried to come closer. He froze, his muscles locking and simply watching as the wolfess dominated the smaller dog. He knew that Roaz would not go down lightly, she viewed him as her alpha male, and no other female would take that away, she would fight as ferociously as she could to ensure that. That however, was not how it would be. Roaz squealed with fright as Jadyn bit down on her neck, and her legs backpedaled, trying to get out from under the form of the wolfess.

Roaz wanted to run to Deryck, hide behind him and let him put this usurper in her place, but he was not moving, and she could not get loose. Her claws cut furrows in the tiled floor, and her tail beat furiously, but at long last, she went limp beneath Jadyn, rolling onto her back as much as she could, tail curling under her. A single tear rolled from her eye and down her muzzle to the floor, as she tried not to look Jadyn in the face. Jadyn finally loosened her grip on the husky, giving a last growl, before fully letting go.

After she did, she looked up, her golden amber eyes meeting Deryck's before she moved to hide from him. "Don't look at me. I'm hideous," she growled at Deryck. She had yet to see herself in her new form. She was just using the amount of pain she had gone through during her transformation to gauge how she looked now.

He did look though, he stared at her, and saw the most beautiful creature he had ever seen. Her entire body was covered in luxurious black fur, from head to toe, her form was perfectly proportioned, right down to the tip of her new tail.

"Jadyn... Come here," he ordered, the tone of command reasserting itself in his voice as he took a few more steps toward her. "I created you, and I'll be the one to decide if your hideous."

The tone of his voice was the same as the day before when he had said the same three words...'Jadyn, come here'. Just like the night before, she obeyed, padding softly towards him. Her tail was down, figuring she was truly hideous and her ears were laid back to rest against her newly proportioned skull. He was the true alpha. No matter how many times she battled the other girls or Roaz for her place as alpha bitch, he was the one she would always stop and obey.

Roaz rolled over on the floor as Jadyn passed, and growled, looking as if she wanted to fight again, but Deryck looked at her, and barked once, shortly. She dropped to the floor like someone had hit her, and laid still, shaking slightly. He hadn't barked at her like that before. Now though, his attention was off of Roaz again, and onto Jadyn, his mate, his bitch. He took her paws in his and clasped them, then dropped one to trace a finger along the line of her muzzle and over her head, to caress her ears.

"Come," he said again, pulling her with him to a full length mirror on the wall. He put her in front of it, and saw her clamp her eyes shut. He shook his head. "Open your eyes and look at yourself."

Jadyn trembled as he ordered her to open her eyes and take a look at herself, to see her new form for the first time. She could feel his paws on her shoulders, keeping her from turning away from the mirror. She opened one eye slowly, catching a glimpse of herself, then her other eye popped open in surprise. For the first time, she saw herself as a wolfess, with a thick coat of black fur. Though she did have a patch of golden fur on her left shoulder. She turned slightly, bringing that shoulder towards the mirror and saw an unclosed circle with four lines coming from it. Two stripes of grayish fur ran in front of her ears, one for each, that went from the inner corner of her ears to her temples.

Again, she turned slightly, looking over her shoulder at the mirror, seeing a grey stripe down her back to the base of her tail. And her tail. It was not very long, but it was full, and pure black. At a thought, she flicked her tail, and a soft bark escaped her.

Deryck let go of her and watched her admire herself in the mirror, smiling as she turned this way, and that, then flicked her tail. There was absolutely nothing about her that was hideous, or ugly, or even out of place. Beautiful was the only word that came to mind to describe her. She yipped happily at her appearance, her tail flicking, and he smiled, warmly, feeling love for her blossom in him. Here... here was someone he could love... She was like him, a wolf-ess, a mate. Their theories were correct, all of his extra work wasn't in vain. He had succeeded where others had said it was impossible. Tears wet his eyes and he pulled her into a tight embrace, feeling her muzzle tucked against his, her heat against his body.

Jadyn was a little surprised when he pulled her into the embrace, but did not pull away. Instead, her arms slid around his neck, and she nipped playfully at his muzzle as he held her. Her slender body pressed against his, the fur on her thighs still damp from the night before. She looked up at him, her golden-amber eyes twinkling with a hint of mischief as she asked. "You never said what you think, Deryck. You said you would be the one to decide if I'm hideous or not. So am I?"

He loosened his grip on her and pulled back to arms length, his eyes again roaming her body. Her tits were firm, and full, now covered in the black pelt, but no less beautiful. Her hips, the perfect slope of her legs, and her centre, her pussy, the fur slightly matted there. He shook his head, and gulped, for once at a loss for words. At long last, he found his voice again. "No Jadyn... you're beautiful!" he said. "And don't you ever think otherwise, my bitch." He gave her a slap across her breasts, but he was smiling as he did it.

Jadyn smiled up at him, then flung herself into his arms again, lifting her muzzle to his. Light kisses sprinkled the length of his muzzle until he took the hint from her, and pressed his lips against hers. Her muzzle parted, giving him full access to her tongue. His tongue slid inside, twining and dancing with hers in a passionate kiss. Her stomach rumbled as they kissed and she broke it with a rueful grin. "Breakfast, Deryck?"

He smiled at her and nodded. "Breakfast sounds good. I didn't eat dinner last night, and I came down before eating this morning. Want a look at the outside world?" He kept his arms wrapped around her, his muzzle only inches from her face while talking, and he punctuated his sentences with little kisses and licks on her face and neck.

Jadyn nodded, then looked back at Roaz. "Come on, girl. Let's go eat." The husky got to her paws, and padded behind them, her head and tail low. Jadyn knew she would have to have a talk with Roaz, but for now, the three of them went up the elevator to the main floor. Jadyn looked around the house, at least what she could see as they walked towards the kitchen.

She gave Deryck a lick, then murred softly. "I need to have a talk with Roaz before she gets more down on herself. I promise, I won't fight with her again."

Deryck nodded, understanding both his wolfess mate's need to be alpha, as well as his husky mate's need. He barked at Roaz, then moved to the kitchen while the two bitches went into the living room. Roaz jumped onto her chair, and growled, picking up the shirt she had claimed of his. Her hold on the shirt as well as her growl, told Jadyn that piece of blood stained fabric, so chewed and torn by the husky's teeth and fangs, was her prized possession.

Deryck entered the kitchen and scratched the fur on his head, then opened the fridge to see just what he had. He had been living alone so long, and then just with Roaz, that he felt like he really did not have enough to make a decent breakfast. He shrugged, and gathered up the needed supplies for pancakes, eggs and bacon. Jadyn was his mate, and he was not going to feed her a pittance of food, and he would not do it to Roaz either.

In the living room, Jadyn sat in another chair, looking at Roaz, then barking at her. Roaz, I know you've been the one with Deryck more than any of us. Even more than me. I don't want to take your place from you, but I will not let you pretend to be the alpha between us. You are beta to my alpha. We will share Deryck. At night, we will both sleep with him. Well, as long as he doesn't keep me in the cell below.

Roaz growled at her and barked back. You are such a bitch, Jadyn. He was mine! You had to get his attention from me, didn't you? Why couldn't you have just let me have him?

He heard the barks and growls of the females in the other room, and had to keep himself from entering their conversation. It was something they had to work out, even if it did sound weird to be talking to a canine.... Then again, what part of his life was normal? He smiled to himself and went about his work, keeping a protective ear toward the girls.

Jadyn sighed and shook her head, barking at Roaz. It wasn't my choice, Roaz. Deryck brought us here, remember? It wasn't my decision to inject me with whatever it was, but I'm not going to regret what has happened. I'm going to make the best of things now. I'm not a soft weak human anymore. I am a wolfess. From what I've seen from Deryck towards you, he won't forgo his time with you just because I'm like him now. You are as much his mate as I am.

Roaz tilted her head, thinking about what Jadyn said, then barked once, her tail wagging a little. Okay, Jadyn. You alpha, me beta.

The food finished cooking within the hour and soon enough Deryck headed to the doorway of the living room, looking at them both to gauge their attitudes and emotions. He found that they were both smiling, or Jadyn was, and Roaz looked happy. They must have resolved their differences, then.

He smiled as well, and clapped his paws. "If either of you girls are hungry, I've got food on the table, and if I do say so myself, it's not half-bad." He chuckled, and watched as the girls hopped off of their seats, Roaz dropping the rag of his shirt on her chair, and then came over.

Jadyn was standing next to him, and Roaz hung her head and tail. I'm sorry Deryck, for attacking her. It wasn't my place. She barked.

He glanced at Jadyn, then knelt and pulled the husky into an embrace, scratching her fur as he did so. He whispered into her ear. "I love her, Roaz, and I love you. You will always be my first canine mate, as Jadyn will always be my first wolfess."

The husky's tail picked up, and began wagging and she hummed happily, then licked him several times on the face and barked. Good... Now I'm hungry, let's eat.

He laughed and let her go, then took Jadyn by the hand and they followed the eager dog into the kitchen. It was quite the spacious room, well designed, and furnished with modern appliances, even if they were dated a few years. He had placed Roaz's bowls of food and water immediately to his left side, and Jadyn's chair was to his right. He had done it unconsciously, but it seemed to fit somehow.

They all eagerly dug in, and Deryck was glad that he had made as much as he had, for they were hungry. He would have to order another load of groceries. He had a working relationship with a store in Enumclaw. He would call with an order, and they would leave it at a predetermined spot outside of town where he could pick it up later that day. It was a simple matter of using his location in the mountains to justify the curious requests.

When the meal was almost over, Jadyn cleared her throat and looked up at him, her ears twitching and tail flicking. "Deryck? Where am I to sleep? Will you put me back in the cell?"

He shook his head. "No Jadyn, I consider you my mate now, though our consummation as mates won't be finished until this evening, when I take you in your wolf form. As such, you'll be sleeping in my bed, as will Roaz. There is plenty of room."

She smiled and nodded. "Good. As much as I enjoy the screaming of the girls, I do find it hard to sleep with all the noise." She laughed.

He chuckled as well. "That's another thing. You'll be helping me with them from now on. I don't think that Alix and Darya will be successful as you were. I'll know later today when I have taken some samples. I don't know about Bayleigh yet either. In any case, I want you to be there, enjoying them with me."

Jadyn smirked, her tongue running over her muzzle as she looked at Deryck. "I'll help you with them. Their screams are music to my ears. At least they were. If Darya tries that high pitched screaming that I saw you wincing at before, I will personally beat her myself."

She leaned closer to him, and licked his muzzle, cleaning the stray bits from his fur. "Shall I wash the dishes before we head down, Deryck? Or wait until later, after we've had some more fun with the girls below?"

Deryck smiled at her, pulling her into his lap for some cuddling time before they headed back down to the lab. "Just put them into the sink, my bitch, and let's go have some fun."

Jadyn cleared the dishes from the table and put them in the sink, adding water and soap, letting them soak until they came back up later on. She slipped her paw into his, then looked at Roaz. "Come on, girl," she growled. "Let's go show those humans how to have fun."

Roaz bounded over, and the three of them headed back to the elevator and down to the lab.
