Saving a hero
#4 of A Hero's recovery (An Inheritance story)
More Sappy dragons, More Smutty dragons.
Just a short one for now, but there should be a lot more smutty goodness in the next chapter.
Saphira woke in the throne room of the mad king, Her eyes taking a moment to adjust to the dim light. In front of her stood the Mad King. Snarling she tried to launch herself at her only to find her body smothered by some unknown force. "Ah, your awake! My beautiful precious gem" His voice commanding. "Did you really think you had won?" He walked closer to her snapping jaw, He was so close that she could see the amber color in his deranged eyes. "Did you really think you and your rider killed me?" She lashed out at him again, teeth snapping inches from his face. Using his magic she felt her neck and head go stiff, unable to move as he ran a finger across the bridge of her nose and up her forehead. "Did you really think you were safe in that forest?" he chuckled. "You see now Saphira, you could have never defeated me. I have laid down many a dragon, stronger, wiser and larger than you." He caressed her jaw sending a shiver down her body.
"WHERE IS HE!" She roared "Where is Fírnen!".
Taking a step back his polished black boots clicking on the tiled floor. "Oh, he is here, with you." with a flick of his wrist torches around the throne room burst into light revealing countless dragons around the room, each one snarling, saliva dripping from their fangs. In one of the corners stood Fírnen wings drooping and head down, his eyes closed in shame. "You see Saphira my dear, when you came to the throne room, you only saw what I wanted you to see." he continued to pace circling around her. She strained against his magical bounds and she could see that she was resting on some sort of padded device that only supported her chest, her legs dangling on each side, her wings pinned to her sides and tail pulled to the side by some force which seemed to be smothering her scales. She sniffed the air and smelt a combination of Ash, Smoke and Sex. Fear gripped her as she recognized the function of the device she lay on. She tried to thrash around but as much as she did she could not get rid of the enveloping felling squeezing her. "You see Saphira, I'm going to take care of you, don't worry" he said his voice shifting slightly the menace dropping for a moment. gesturing to the dragons around the room, "You see, death is not a limit to me, These are my Forsworn's dragons. They have been eager to meet you Saphira" The dragons took a step forward, They seemed feral and as deranged as the Mad King. She felt a dragons mind brush hers and she concentrated on not letting it in. As they approached her she could see each of them had a glistening spire of flesh proudly jutting out from their underside, Each one was different and filled her heart with dread, Some had vicious looking barbs and fleshy hooks running down their length. Others were shaped like spears and were as sharp as talons.
"You see, Saphira, we are alike you and I. I know the rage and anger you felt when you and your child of a rider struck me down, That was the same rage and anger I used when I broke a dragon's mind. Dragons are not meant to be peaceful creatures, they are weapons of war, tools to bend the world to its knees. I know you will do great things, seeding the next generation of dragons with you're anger and rage, they will be more vicious than any of the riders dragons, I see them enslaving the world, bending its shape into an image of their choosing, and ruling the new dragon family will be you Saphira, Yes thats right, you will become a mother you see when the elves took these dragon's names from them, their very identity, they became husks of themselves, driven by their purest instincts. They will mate with you, again, and again and again. You are mine Saphira, You will remain in this castle with me forever" his sinister voice echoing off the walls. "I have you now Saphira, I will look after you, Always" his voice softening.
Saphira's breathing increased as felt a clawed paw push down on her shoulder and she felt compressed against the padded device. She felt another dragon try to breach her mind again and she put up as many mental barriers as possible, closing her eyes she could feel the warmth of the feral dragon press down on her, her heart beathing in her chest, She felt the sudden jostling of the dragon, shaking her on the device, She took some comfort in the device at least being padded as she closed her eyes, resigned to her fate. "Open your eyes Saphira!" The King commanded gently, "You don't want to miss this" his sinister voice returning. "Open your eyes now!"
Saphira snapped her eyes open and met the Mad Kings gaze, His amber eyes filled with worry. "Saphira, I've got you now. You're safe" Her eyes adjusted to realize that she was not staring at the Mad King but Fírnen's concerned face "You're ok, You're Safe" Her heart was racing, nostrils flaring as she panted. She felt his warm belly against hers, his wings draped over her smothering her, His paws were wrapped tightly around her holding her close to him, His tail wrapped tightly around her. She quickly squirmed in his grip and he let her go, she quickly rolled to her feet and started pacing, her breathes shallow and hurried. "You're here Saphira, You're in the cave, in the forest." he said slowly getting up. She eventually slowed her pacing to a stop and stared out of the cave entrance, her nostrils still flaring as she tired to get her feelings under control. It was dawn outside, there was a blanket of mist covering the valley below the ridgeline making it look like they were floating in the clouds. Fírnen slowly approached her, making sure to drag his claws on the ground to announce his arrival. "You're safe, Saphira, I've got you" He could hear her heartbeat pounding as he got close, He gently raised a wing up over her but didn't rest it on her, He came along side her and followed her gaze out off the cave. Saphira finally getting her heart beat under control noticed he was along side her, she gently leaned against him and he lowered his wing around her. "I've got you" he said. They continued to stare out the open while watching the sun rise over the forest in the east.
"Thank-you" she whispered, feeling comfort in his warm side and wing. "I was back in the throne room, He was still alive" she shivered.
He leaned in and nuzzled her neck. "He is gone now Saphira, You did it, You won" he said trying to comfort her. "Now you get to enjoy the fruits of your hard labor" He gave her a lick across her cheek. She nuzzled him back, enjoying the feeling of his scales on hers, pressing the bridge of her nose against his throat she could hear his breathing pick up. "Saphira, I want to do something but after yesterday, I'm not sure if you would be keen for it." he asked, Saphira pulling back looking puzzled. "It's something that only mates really do, But I really want to do it, and I think you will like it in the long run. I just don't want to feel inadequate"
Saphira's heart rate increased, after the nightmare she just had she was not liking the direction this was taking. "What is it exactly you want me to do Fírnen." She said shortly.
Sensing her panic rising he tried to calm her down. "I just want you to go back into the cave and lay down, Just relax and let me take care of you"
Saphira paused staring at him, she couldnt believe what he was asking. "Fírnen I'm really not in the mood to mate right now" she snapped, she couldn't help but snarl slightly
"MATE! What? No, I mean... No!" Fírnen exclaimed looking flustered "I was going to get you breakfast, I read that its something mates do sometimes, The drake goes out in the morning and gets his 'ness something to eat. I just know that you don't want to be coddled so I wasn't sure if you would want me to or not." He tried to meet her gaze but felt stupid for suggesting such a thing, It was something he read in a book about dragon courtship, but he had forgotten that not all dragons were like the ones he had read. "I'm sorry, it was a stupid idea."
Saphira couldn't help but feel bad for the poor drake, he was only trying to help but she had jumped to the wrong conclusions. She padded away from him, back towards the cave. "I like deer" she said with a smile turning her neck back towards him "The bigger the better." His heart soared as he looked back at her, she then lay down on furs they shared last night.
"One giant deer, coming right up! The biggest in the land for my beautiful 'ness." He boasted as he launched himself out of the cave. Saphira chuckled as he left, She curled her self up on the furs, They were still warm and smelt strongly of their activities last night. She pressed her nose into the furs and inhaled deeply, trying to commit the scent to memory. While she waited for him she groomed her scales, She noticed that she had a fair amount Fírnen's dried saliva on the back of her neck and she stretched around to clean what she could off. She then turned her attention to her front legs and paws, She could smell Fírnen's scent on her chest where she had spent the night in his embrace and it made her heart flutter. Rolling onto her side she gave herself access to her lower belly and was surprised to see how much of their combined fluids had dried on her scales. She contemplated getting up and bathing herself in the river but she gave herself a curious lick and finding it's taste to her liking decided to stay on the warm furs. She slowly worked her way down her belly, tracing each scale with her tongue, her mind flashing back to when Fírnen did this the night before. She had always thought mating would just be a rushed affair to make eggs, Every book she had read about the subject was focused only on the anatomy and function of mating, there was no mention of the pleasure she felt last night in his embrace. Her tongue dipped lower towards her opening, she felt so aroused by the feel of her tongue roaming her scales. "He could be back any second, This time of morning the deer should be drinking by the rivers edge, What would he say if he saw you like this" she thought to herself, feeling a wave of shame rise up in her. "But what would it look like if he came back and saw me, and I just continued while staring at him" another thought ran through her mind, exciting her even more. She dove her tongue inside her vent, she was surprised at first to taste Fírnen, but shrugged, he was in her after all. Why wouldn't she taste and smell him? Her tongue delved around her tunnel, it wasn't the same as when he did it, but she tried to remember what it was like, his thrusting member driving in and out of her. Her heart beat quicker thinking about it. The sounds he made, moaning in pleasure while he took her so passionately. A wave of pleasure rising up in her as her tongue found a particularly sensitive spot and she gasped, She rapidly darted her tongue over that spot while she remembered how Fírnen had pounded her so vigorously just before he blew his load in her. She moaned out as her climax washed over her, she felt her tongue being clenched by her walls as she rode out the waves, she continued to lick her slit for a little longer before cleaning the outside of it again.
With a content huff she lazily stretched out on the furs, she rested her eyes for a while and listened to the birds chirping outside the cave. Any minute now she was going to hear the wing beats of her mate, the thought warming her inside.
It was a while later before she could hear the sound of something being dragged across gravel, her head darting towards the entrance of the cave and she got up to investigate. She approached the entrance cautiously, the dragging sound was coming towards her. She poked her head out of the cave and looked down to see Fírnen dragging a deer up the slope with his jaws. Saphira was confused, he was easily large enough to fly with it in his talons. "Are you ok? Did you hurt your wings?"
"No, No. I'm OK. I think I just bit off more than I could chew. Its too heavy to fly with." Fírnen's said.
"Here let me help" Saphira made a move towards him.
"No, please, I want to do this, just lay back down inside, ill be there is a moment"
She wanted to just jump down and snatch it from his jaws and fly off, but she didn't want to hurt his pride, Also her wing was feeling better but looking at the rocks she knew it could go wrong very quickly. She retreated back inside the cave and lay down on the furs. Eventually she heard him approach the mouth of the cave, while out of sight he took a second to catch his breath before picking the deer back up in his jaws and did his best to trot inside with it .Saphira smiled at his antics, "Oh my wonderful mate, who is so strong and brave, Thank-you for bringing me this delicious meal" She said teasing.
Playing along Fírnen dropped the deer at her feet and posed as gracefully as he could, he tried to sound as pompous as possible as he did his best expression of a noblemen. "Oh well you see my dear Saphira, my starlight, it was naught but a slight inconvenience, once that I would gladly do again if only to catch a glimpse of your elegance. Your divine grace knows no bounds and you are truly an avatar of beauty herself!" He continued to rattle off variations of complements about her body, and might
Saphira couldn't help but chuckle as he carried on, Eventually while his gaze was at the ceiling, paw against his chest she reached forwards with her jaw and grabbed his wing at the shoulder, pulling him off balance and onto the furs. Continuing his routine he exclaimed "And alas! I have fallen in a mighty battle. Only to find myself in the company of a fine maiden, Who's tender touch and delicate...." Not thinking what to say he blurted out "horns?" They both broke into laugher as they embraced. Saphira could not remember the last time she had laughed so hard, she wrapped her arms around him, and he intertwined his tail with hers and they pulled themselves together. "Thank-you Fírnen" She said nuzzling his throat. He gave her a lick across her forehead. "For you, anything."
The scent of a fresh kill wafted through her nose and she couldn't help but salivate. She wiggled in his embrace, rolling onto her belly as she moved closer to the deer. He followed her and lay next to her with his wing draped over her and they both started eating.
"You know, you could probably have just flown this up instead of dragging it" Saphira said, picking a piece of gravel out of her teeth with a claw.
"I tried, but it kept pulling me backwards, I couldn't stay level or gain any height" he said, having had his fill he busied himself with cleaning his paws and face. Saphira was just finishing up, Gore and blood hanging from her mouth.
Saphira was deep in thought while she picked up the remains of the haunch of meat and bit down, she almost choked when she felt his delicate tongue run over her paws, She sat there with the bloody mass in her mouth while she watched him meticulously clean her paws. "Your meant to eat it Saphira, not hold it" he joked. She quickly swallowed and looked back at him, he continued her paws until he started tracing up her front legs and then neck. She shivered as he started to clean her face with his tongue, She couldn't help but close her eyes and lean into his touch. She could feel his breath on her cheek as he finished, giving her jaw a slight nibble he pulled away from her.
"I'll show you how" she finally said. Opening her eyes she turned to him. "I'll show you how to carry a deer in flight. It wasn't easy my first time." She could see his eyes go wide with excitement. "I cant have no mate of mine not be able to carry a deer" she said getting to her feet. She padded to the entrance before turning her head back towards him "Coming?"
Fírnen sprang to his feet and rushed to catch up. Saphira continued to walk down the ridgeline towards the river. "Its probably better to do this over the river, that way when you fall, Not "IF". you don't hurt yourself." Fírnen padded quickly along side her nodding. "Ok, I'm sure the elves will be angry if we killed another deer just for practice, so lets use a boulder for now." She sifted around the river bank before finding a good sized one for him, picking it up in her jaws she brought it over to him and dropped it at his feet. "Here, grasp this with your rear talons and launch over the river."
He grasped it as she said and launched into the air, straight away she could see that his neck was all wrong, his was angled way too far back and almost immediately stalled and fell into the river with a splash.
"Try Again, This time stretch your neck forwards"
"But it feels like I'm falling backwards." He wined as he pulled himself out of the river with his boulder in his jaws.
"Again!" she barked
He shook his wings and grasped the boulder like before, He launched himself into the air, She noticed that he still was not stretching his neck out forwards enough and it was no surprise to her when he stalled and fell back into the river.
"See it doesn't help! I think I'm doing something wrong with my tail" he grumbled
"Your tail isn't the problem, your neck is too compressed." she noticed him about to interrupt "AGAIN!" she said, teeth flaring.
This continued for a while before she noticed he was starting to tire.
"Ok stop, maybe another approach is needed" Saphira moved herself over to near a large tree had fallen. "Come here, put your feet on this tree trunk, dig your claws in as hard as you can."
Happy to give his wings and pride a rest he followed her instructions, he felt the tree trunk groan as his sharp talons dug into the tree. "Now what"
"Now, don't move your paws, keep your claws buried in the tree" She said as she moved a few paces away from him. "Promise that you will not move your feet" He nodded but was confused. "Your word Fírnen"
"On my word" he said, still unsure of the activity.
"OK, I want you to touch my nose with your tongue." she said as she leaned towards him, there was still a significant gap between them. He reached out as far as he could but could feel his balance faltering. "Its ok, you wont fall. your claws are in the tree, that tree is not going anywhere, Reach"
He continued to stretch but she noticed that he was never extending his neck the whole way. "Come on Fírnen, Give your mate a lick on the nose" she joked, she could see the determination in his eyes. She saw him start to move a paw "Don't move your paws, move your neck, you can do it."
"This is ridiculous Saphira" he started. Saphira smirked and turned around so her rump was in front of him, lowering her chest to the ground. she could hear him sharply inhale.
"I just have this itch that only my big strong mate could relieve me of, Its a shame he cant reach out and lick me Fírnen" she said as seductively as she could while slowly raising her tail. Her vent filling his vision "I'm just a sweat fair maiden in need of a comforting tongue on my-" She suddenly stopped when she felt his tongue on her vent. She whirled her head around to see that he indeed had kept his paws latched onto the tree. "Good now stay like that" she said as she turned around, she chuckled as she saw his pouting face and desperate amber eyes. True to his word he was finally stretched out. "Now keep your neck like that and raise your wings." He did as she instructed, she walked around him and nudged his wings to be level with each other. "Good, now flap downwards, but keep your neck out." He did and she felt the rush of air blow across her scales. "Again" she commanded and he did.
After a few more goes he was getting the hang of it. "Good, now stop and get that boulder. Remember, stick your neck out like you want to lick your mate." knowing what he needed to do now he bounded over to his boulder and grasped it in his hind legs before launching in to the sky, He tilted back violently and when he was about to stall he thrust his neck outwards, shifting his center of weight forwards, He flapped his wings as hard as he could and he suddenly felt the lift he needed. Before he knew it he had crossed the river, tilting his wings slightly he banked and came back. "Don't land, keep going. your doing great!" She said, she felt a rush of pride well up inside her as she saw her first pupil putting her training into practice.
He kept going for sometime, now finally getting the hang of it. Eventually he dropped the boulder into the river and landed beside her. He took a moment to catch his breath and then nuzzled her cheek. "Thank-you" he murmured, he circled her before sitting next to her. They stood in silence for a while watching the water flow down the river.
"Saphira, I think you may need to adjust your teaching methods if you ever teach a hatchling to do that" Fírnen said, nudging her with a wing.
Saphira snorted a laugh, smoke blowing out her nostrils. "Noted"
"...Or another drake for that matter"
"Yes, noted."
They sat quietly for a bit longer before Fírnen yawned and dramatically stretched his wings "I think my wings are going to be sore tomorrow" he said as he lay one over Saphira's back.
Smiling at such a move she leant into him, "They better heal quick, I think ill be able to fly on mine tomorrow, perhaps we should have a rematch?"
Fírnen smiled nervously, "I would like that, this time I promise not to send us into the ground"
Saphira licked his cheek, "You know, that move you pulled with the smoke... Not bad, I hadn't thought of that." She could feel him puff up his chest slightly at the compliment.
They lay down in the midday sun, letting its warmth fill their bodies. Saphira felt proud that she had passed on some useful knowledge to him, he has the makings of a strong dragon in him she thought to herself.
To be continued....
