I know I gotta get on uploading things here proper, but I'm really, really busy.

Expect a chapter of this every few days.

>You've seen it in varying degrees from all the other F.E.R.A.L. personnel. All throughout the months.

>But this is the first time you've seen it from her.

>Talia hums as she vanishes, trying to quell your worries.

>It helps. Some.

>She stays quiet as Steele pulls back and goes through the post-action report with you, her warmth receding.

>The tiger sends you away as normal, apparently satisfied with her warning.

>Your room is empty as ever. You have a bed, a nightstand, and a bookshelf -- there's little else you need.

>"You don't mind if I stay up a bit, do you?"

>"No," she says. There's a sigh to her soft voice, ringing in your head.

>You reach over and stroke her gilded slide.

>"We can work on your speech tomorrow, Talia. It's only been a few months."

>"I -- I don't know what it's like, to be in your condition. Trapped in a gun. But I imagine it'll take time for you to get to what --"

>Your chest tightens.

>Your skin burns.

>" -- What Virina could do," you finish.

>Talia says nothing.
