>You summon Talia as you sit on the bed, setting her on the pillow.
>"Tired?" you ask.
>"Yes."
>You hum, pulling out a book you've been reading. An old text, detailing different demons and the ways to exorcise them.
>"You don't mind if I stay up a bit, do you?"
>"No," she says. There's a sigh to her soft voice, ringing in your head.
>You reach over and stroke her gilded slide.
>"We can work on your speech tomorrow, Talia. It's only been a few months."
>"I -- I don't know what it's like, to be in your condition. Trapped in a gun. But I imagine it'll take time for you to get to what --"
>Your chest tightens.
>Your skin burns.
