"Cool, cool," Charley muttered. Ashton led the group through a series of doors that led into more tunnels, an awkward silence settling over them. "So... What kind of experiments do you do?"

"I dabble in a lot of things," Ashton said, the deadpan lifting from his voice slightly. "A big focus of mine is on the body and how it reacts to different stimuli. I create different substances and test what they do to organic bodies." Charley hummed in thought as he mulled over what the scientist said.

"Can we see an experiment?" Charley asked. Ashton turned to him with a searching gaze and the fox could've sworn he saw a smirk.

"Sure, I love cultivating the minds of the curious," Ashton said as he led the three into a room. This room had three chairs in the middle, a few machines and monitors here and there, and a set of windows to the right. "Why don't you three take a seat and I'll be right back."
