That Victreebel's enzymes had ended up a blessing in disguise. Once it gave up on trying to digest her and spat her out, she took a long, sticky walk back to her hotel room and washed herself off in the shower. Of course, she'd missed her spa appointment and she wasn't going to wander in smelling like a wad of melted candy with a texture to match.

To her surprise, the sticky stuff didn't even need soap to clean it off; as the water diluted it, it simply glided down the drain, the deep purple colour gradually fading to lavender, then lilac, then clear once again.

Her fur and skin felt different, too. Her coat looked shinier than it usually did when damp, and her skin felt pleasantly soft. She chalked it up to the normal satisfaction she usually got when getting de-mucked(a common occurrence for her). As she stepped out of the steam filled bathroom and towelled herself off, she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror.

She looked exactly as amazing as she felt.

Sascha had a new lease on life the next day. She felt like she could have lit the entire city on her own, just on the strength of her good vibes.

The accidental treatment she'd had last night was still showing its effects that day.

Her fur was positively glistening in a way it never had before. Her coat was the consistency of warm satin, puffed out just a little, yet not frizzy at all.

She could feel eyes on her, practically bulging out of their sockets. As if she wasn't head-turning enough as it was.

It was a perfect day to really explore the shopping districts; the upscale 'vintage' boutiques were full of trinkets and fine outfits to try on, model, then not buy. Today was a day to see herself - and be seen in turn.

She half wondered if she'd run into that Victreebel. By now its trainer must have found it. It would be out with the other 'loose' Pokémon. She saw plenty of Meowths, plenty of Pikachu, and even a few wild cards (what was a Snom doing in this climate? The poor thing was sluggish, it looked like it might melt, even though its trainer was constantly watering it).

No sign of a Victreebel, though. That is, until she spotted a familiar shape peering out from an alley near the Garden District.

It didn't see her, but its eyes looked tired, and weary...

A hunch snuck up on Sascha, and she followed that hunch as she followed the plant pokemon into the alley.

"Hello?" she called out, and the pitcher-plant wheeled around. It looked startled, nervous and sort of deflated.

"No no," Sascha said, raising her big paws up. "Don't worry, I'm not looking for payback... what're you doing all the way out here? Did you lose your trainer?"

It shook its head, gurgling with shame.

"... You don't have one, do you."

It nodded.

"I figured... That makes a lot of sense. Are you looking to steal some food? I hope you haven't eaten anyone else's Pokémon..."

It deflated a little more. So it had tried at least.

"I think I've got some snacks... tell you what, go back to that bit of the jungle where I met you. Near that little lake? I'll buy you some treats and meet you out there."

It understood her perfectly, judging from how it instantly seemed to perk up. She idly wondered if maybe it had a trainer once upon a time...

When she picked up some grass-type appropriate snacks and jerky, a pokéball somehow found its way into her shopping.

Sascha decided to change her clothes up a little - along with her usual litany of gold bangles and her wedge sandals, she also had some looser clothes that would be easy to take off, and her favourite bright red one-piece swimsuit, tight and sheer against her voluptuous body. She knew anyone who was ogling her was imagining where she might be going - what sort of secret tryst she had planned as she slipped into the humid jungle.

They wouldn't have been able to guess.

The Victreebel was waiting for her, just as she expected. It was vibrating with excitement, its lower half swaying pendulously back and forth.

"I got something you'd like," she said, opening up a big bag full of candy. It practically lunged for her, sending its spade-like leaf appendage to rustle through it and grab as much as it could.

Sascha laughed and took a step back, allowing the ravenous thing to start rummaging around.

She watched the candy roll and sail down the big wide open mouth of the creature.

"Now, help yourself... but in return, I want you to make sure no one disturbs me. I'm gonna take a little bath..."

She wasn't necessarily trying to court the Pokémon into trying to eat her again; it was probably smart enough to have learned its lesson. But if it did try again, she wouldn't mind all that much. In fact, she'd probably let it swallow her without much complaint. She was a go-with-the-flow kind of girl.

Sascha slipped off her t shirt and skirt - it wasn't like she was revealing herself; anyone who so much as glanced at her would have seen it. She slipped into the water, cool and sparkling, and pushed her tush out a little as she slipped inside. She could feel the Pokémon's eyes on her.

Maybe it was going to make another attempt at eating her... or at least tasting her.

She wasn't against the idea at all.

She hummed to herself, some lilting melody she'd learned from a group of smoky-smelling vultures a long while ago, and let her hips shake back and forth to that beat. There were sharp movements to them, like she was trying to hip-check some unseen attacker.

She could tell the Victreebel was beginning to creep into the water. It was not doing a good job at looking out for her, but there never was any danger to begin with. It was all a pretence.

She gave it a firm bump just when it got in range. It gurgled and shuddered, floating back like a beach ball.

She kept humming along, slowly squatting downwards to splash some of that water onto her face, letting her fur glisten. The rough vine wrapped shyly around her shoulders, and she allowed it to touch her. The sunlight glistened against her face, and she wondered just how bewitching she must have looked to the plant-type.

The vine travelled lower as she squatted and raised, hooking to the inside of her thigh. She wasn't inclined to stop it, even when it tugged her backwards and she felt a little roller-coaster headrush as it tipped her upside down and backwards.

She bounced inside the thick pitcher, and that familiar sticky scent clung to her nostrils. She whooped and giggled as she shimmied around to get herself right-side up.

"Careful, friend!" She said, her claws tickle-scratching the inside of the Victreebel and feeling it spasm and wiggle ; it might have giggled out loud, if it could have. "Let me just get comfy in here..."

She squished her butt back and forth inside the pool of sticky enzymes, letting herself get as comfortable as she could. She crossed her legs in a meditative pose and closed her eyes, lifting her head up to allow the juices to trickle along her face.

To her surprise, she felt a patter of something cold and hard against her face. Then another, then another again. She opened her eyes to see rain starting to fall from overhead from overcast clouds.

Where had they come from...?

The large leaf on top of the Pokémon gently glided over the top of the mouth-lid, submerging her in darkness and protecting her from the rain. The rain drummed against the leaf, the relaxing pattering sound reminding her of huddling in a tent when she was a cub, exhilarated and excited by the sounds outside.

This Victreebel was an absolute gent... assuming it was male.

She giggled and sighed with delight, reclining back into the pitcher and allowing herself to rock back and forth, unconsciously treating the Victreebel as a hammock.

Back to humming that melody again, her eyes closed as she sleepily sighed her way through it. Didn't the song go 'That's what friends are for', too?

Fitting. She was starting to see this li'l guy as a friend. They both seemed to be quite happy with the arrangement, especially from the way its insides clung to her and savoured her like she was one of those sweets she'd fed it.

She idly remembered the pokeball she'd left at the shore with her stuff; hopefully the rain wouldn't damage it.

Why'd she buy it in the first place? At the time, maybe she was thinking about it as a souvenir, even though it was one of the cheaper mass-market ones.

She wouldn't just throw the ball at the Victreebel; she would ask for its consent to take it away from this place. It'd be nice having some companionship. For both of them.
