Chapter 12

After a few hours of waiting and trying to get everything together the group was sitting outside of a clearing on the outskirts of Crosstown, despite the worst of the fires being put out by now there were still several plumes of smoke still rising from the city. The total number of casualties had yet to be fully counted but thankfully given the quick reaction from the police there seemed to be very few actual deaths. Noah looked around, still in a bit of a daze from everything. The reinforcements from Pollenburn had arrived, taking over from Rex and his forcers being led by a beautiful hawk woman who Noah recognized immediately.

“Holy shit… is that the Scalpel of Pollenburn?” He heard James say at his side in awe. “Of all people I can’t believe they sent her… it must be a big deal if they brought someone of her caliber here. It really must have been a big deal.” Sgt. Major Sherry Stormrock also known by her callsign ’the Scalpel of Pollenburn`was one of the most famous members of the MODD’s Rillotian Military corps. A famed tactician and one of Commander Gale Winthrop’s most trusted underlings.

“I’ve met her, believe it or not she’s pretty girly despite how she looks.” Aidan says with a grin which caused them to look back in shock.

“You’ve met her before!?” Both boys exclaimed at the same time before looking away, blushing awkwardly and embarrassed. Aidan smirked at that and chuckled. “Yes, I know her, quite well actually. I am the son of an Elemental Lord after all, on top of being a Lieutenant.” He gives a wave towards her and catches her eyes and with a small smile on her beak she walks on over to the group causing both the boys to freak out and even Flint looked excited but less so than the teenagers next to him. Dolan seemed less invested and almost annoyed and the girls just looked confused and/or amused by the boys enthusiasm.

“Well, well, well, didn’t expect to see you here Lt. Hart. It’s been awhile, how have you been? I heard what happened in Eldra, truly awful what happened.” She says kindly, sorrow clear in her voice. “Is it true your father is planning on stepping down?”

“I don’t know, he said he plans on stepping down once the rebuilding is completed. He might change his mind though, he’s in a wheelchair now but given enough time and doses of regen serum he might be back on his feet.” the woman just nodded.

“I admire your optimism Lieutenant.” She says simply before looking over to the Jackal. “Oh, Major Burk, never thought I’d ever see you come out of retirement, we were all sad when we heard the Great Sniper of Livendan retired.” This made the jackal glower deep giving the woman a darker look.

“Don’t you dare call me that woman.” He snarled out, his accent much thicker which caught Noah off-guard. This caused Aidan to lay a hand on his shoulder in an attempt to calm him down.

“Okay there old man, take a breath, you really don’t want to get into a fight with her. Trust me, I’ve sparred with her in the wargames. It was rough.” He says wincing a bit from the memory which caused the woman to chuckle lightly.

“You did very well for an Asýnchroni though, you gave me a damn good fight, better than any of the other blokes who had a Glyph.” As Noah watched this he sensed something coming from her but it disappeared before he could really focus on it.

“Huh?” He thought to himself which caused her to turn her attention towards him fully for the first time. She looked at him for a few seconds before raising an eyebrow.

“Oh. you are Jacob Reaper, Rex’s baby brother, glad he found you.” She said looking towards the older yet shorter wolf. “So you are all going to Greasham? Good luck with the younger Commander Groundwater, she’s a tough one.”

“We’ll be fine Sgt. Major Stormrock, but thank you for the concern.” Rex started with a smile before he looked towards the others. “Alright everyone, we will be boarding the ship shortly. As this is a military airship you’ll be expected to be on your best behavior. Do I make myself clear? Any misbehavior will have you put in the brig until we land.” When everyone nodded or gave their affirmation he waved his hand and the ship opened causing a walkway to drop onto the ground. “I’ll leave the rest to you Sgt. Major, tell Commander Winthrop I said hi when you see him again.” Sherry gave him a salute and Noah briefly felt the same feeling but it vanished just as quickly as it came which left him even more confused.

As they were boarding there was suddenly loud shouting as a tall and grossly fat alsatian came up yelling as he ran up towards James throwing a punch nearly knocking the boy over. “Where do you think you are going, you worthless piece of shit! Your whore of a mother died and I was hoping I was rid of both of you but you had the gall to live!” Rex and Sgt. Major Stormrock both summoned their weapons but Jay waved them off rubbing his chin glaring at the man.

“Enough, I’m done, you are on your own…” He said coldly, Noah noticed a hint of sadness in his voice but it was covered by an old and worn sense of anger. “It should have been you, you worthless drunk. Mom might have been a druggie and a whore but she wasn’t a bad person. You on the other hand? You’ve been nothing but a fucking embarassment! You could have made something out of yourself! You could have been useful but no! You had to be the town drunk! Making us the laughingstock of the entire town! I know you had a hard time when you served with MODD but that doesn’t justify making everyone else miserable! I’m going to make something out of myself, I’ll be what you could never be.” He said, this made the man cower which made Jay grin.

“Of course, you are just a coward aren’t you? Not used to people standing up to your pathetic ass.” He says as he looked spitefully at the man, they really did look alike, well.. Outside the older man being morbidly obese but their facial structure was very similar as far as Noah thought. But even then they were also different,the older man had the look of a person who had long since given up, and was content to stew in his bitterness and hatred. While James had the look of someone who wanted to make something of himself and once again Noah was stricken by how attractive he was, those feelings still stirred some mixed feelings on that. The wounds of their previously tumultuous relationship still weighed on him and he.wasn’t sure when, if ever they would be fully comfortable around each other. He was however snapped out of his reverie as Rex once again called everyone to get on the ship. This made Noah jump and shake his head and hurried onto the ship as he watched James stare down the man once more before getting on. Emily was one of the last people on as she hugged her parents goodbye before she ran up and joined them.

“Are you sure about this? This might be the last time you see them for a while, plus you are kinda dropping out of school,,, well all of us are but you are the only one with any family really.” Noah asks, checking in once again. She looked towards him with a sad smile.

“I am sure, I think I'm better suited helping you Noah, I’ll miss them yeah but I’m sure I’ll be back one day soon enough. So don’t worry about it too much, let’s go to the bridge. I wanna catch the lift off.:” she says before rushing deeper into the ship leaving the boys at the entrance as Rex came up to them after doing final check ups with the town.

“Okay, it’s time to go in, we’ll be leaving in a few minutes so make sure you have everything because we won’t be back… and your dad is a piece of shit Kid.” He says, adding the last bit directed towards James. “I’ve filed a motion to have him court martialed, his behavior is a disgrace to those who have served or still serving MODD’s military division. Maybe some time in military jail can get him the help he needs.” This seemed to catch James off-guard a bit.

“He has been in jail several times but he always got out. It hasn’t helped him before. Not sure what this will change.” he says a bit bitterly at that which made Noah kind of sad.

“He won’t go to a Rilltolian Prison, he'd be going to one in Minetrocia where he’ll have the treatment and care he needs and he won’t be able to get out until we are sure he’s better. He’ll likely lose his pension but hopefully we can help set him up a job to take care of himself.” Rex says gently, laying a paw on his shoulder. Noah saw a look of mix of hope and a still remaining cynicism on his face. “I know it isn’t guaranteed, but we will try it. We should have probably done so ages ago but he fell through the cracks.” Sherri nods, looking sympathetic as well.

“I’ll get in contact with Commander Winthrop personally when I get back to Pollenburn.”

“I hope you can help him… I really do, thank you Commander Reaper, Sgt. Major Stormrock.” He says before turning to get onto the airship himself and Noah followed him and getting on with Rex saying his goodbyes and getting on himself. Once he was in he quickly rushed to find the Bridge finding Emily already sitting on a seat facing the windshield which he joined

“What took you so long? We are about to lift off.” She says as he sits down next to her.

“We had a run-in with Dawson’s dad… Rex was talking about him being court martialed and taken to a Military prison in Minetrocia in hopes to getting him help for his alcoholism” Emily had a mixed looked on her face at that, her eyes seeming somewhat torn on the subject/

“Ah… I mean he deserves to be in jail… and if this can help him get his shit together for Jay’s sake. But never liked the idea of MODD having its own prisons. I still think they made the wrong decision with the Treaty of Shellington..”

“Yeah, one company controlling all the world's military is.. Something but at least war isn’t too common right? We haven’t had one since the Trinan Rebellion and that was decades ago so it’s not all bad right?” Noah says with a shrug, Emily still looked torn but sighed.

“You have a point, just it bothers me sometimes… sometimes I can see where those Anti-MODD groups are coming from, the nonviolent ones of course. I don’t agree with anything that groups like Inquisition do at all. But I can’t believe they were after you Noah or that they attacked a tiny town like Crosstown, and now we are on a MODD airship heading to another country. I've never been outside Rillotia so it’s kinda scary especially considering we are going to. I mean Weleshna doesn’t exactly have the best reputation for safety especially near Graesham given it’s so close to the Inquisition occupied areas.”

“I know, but we fought them before we can do so again!” He said with a smirk as they felt a brief rumble as the airship began to lift off and the two looked on,

“What you two talking about?” Dawson’s voice rang out from beside them as sat down next to Noah.

“Oh, we were talking about what Rex said about your dad… and got to talking about the Treaty of Shellington and us going to Weleshna” Noah explained as they all heard Rex sit down on the big chair in the central and pushed a few buttons and as he spoke his voice was amplified and carried over the loudspeakers

“Okay everyone, we will be fully engaging in liftoff, please make sure you are secured so we won’t have any injuries, our destination is Greasham Weleshna and we will arrive in 6 hours. Enjoy the flight.” As he said this Noah felt a rumble as the ship began to fully lift up in the air and the town before them got smaller and smaller as they continued to lift up. Soon enough they reached cruising altitude Rex got up from his chair and turned to everyone. “Hey everyone, you are free to move around the ship. The military areas are not to be accessed by civilians but the rest of the ship is free. We have a gym, a sauna and a pool and a game room, anything you can want to entertain yourself, I’m going to be busy, I have to talk to my men and Lt. Hart but will I try and come with you guys when I’m done, okay?” All three nod and once he left Emily got up brushing her dress.

“Think I’m going to try out that spa, I need a bath. You guys should talk, I’m sure you guys could use it.” With a wink she hops off humming going to find the other girls and telling them about them and once she told them the three broke into giggles and went off together. Noah was never going to understand girls…

“So… Do you want to Um… talk I mean? If so, can we go somewhere more private? Feel things might get super personal and don’t want some strangers snooping in.”

“Ah, okay let's find somewhere I guess?” Noah said getting up and offering a hand to Dawson which he took and Noah felt his heart race when he felt the alsatian grasp his hand. ‘Okay, calm down there guy… there is so much baggage you need to unpack with each other before you get heart eyes.he shook his head and helped him up, after a few minutes of awkward silence the two went on trying to find somewhere to talk. It took a bit but they eventually settled on one of the small rooms in the ship with just a bed and chair and learning from earlier today he made sure to lock the door so they wouldn’t be walked in on… just in case. ‘Geeze, bit presumptuous aren’t we Noah? Am… I becoming a slut?

“You okay Noah?” Dawson’s voice rang out next to him,

“Wanna fuck? I mean! Oh, you used my first name… didn’t expect that.” He said blushing at that. ‘Damn boy you are becoming a slut… slow down!` Dawson just blinked in surprise and stayed silent for a few minutes before he chuckled and raised and eyebrow.

“I mean yeah, but um… I kinda want to talk first… I think we have to clear the air.” He said with a blush and a smile.

“Yeah, you have a point, so… what exactly are we… friends?” Noah started trying to put his thoughts together. Were they? They were getting along so much better and were actually having a conversation and not shouting at each other plus Dawson felt like a completely new person far from the angry bitter asshole he was before all the mess happened but those feelings still remained. Even if he did understand the alsatian's reasons but the dog had still tormented him for years for an honestly stupid reason he had every reason to hate him… but he really couldn’t. He felt guilty, about basically not even trying to understand the alsatian. He KNEW about how awful his dad never tried to reach out… he could have tried to help. Then again, would Dawson have accepted his help? He really didn’t know.

“Maybe? I mean it’s nice to be talking? And being in the same room with you and not fighting and well, I’m flattered by the offer for sex… I’ve never actually been with a guy. Never had the courage as I was afraid that I’d get outed somehow. I’ve seen videos online of course but never got to do it myself. “Fuck your dad, but you are not stuck under his thumb anymore, you can do what you want now. Just promise me you won’t fall back to what you were? I like this version of you. I kinda wish I got to know this version sooner, you know?” Noah said quietly and before he could say anything else he felt Dawsons… James lips on his holding him close. The young wolf let out a bit of a surprised grunt but did nothing to stop him. The kiss started out gentle at first but then Noah felt the other canine’s tongue tease against his lips and Noah opened and allowed it to slip in as James deepened the kiss. He let his hands drift to the dogs chest feeling the muscles that he gained from years of physical training and football. And both would have been happy to continue to kiss if not for the need for air.

“That… was intense…” James said as they broke apart as he let his hands slip under Noah’s shirt, this made the wolf blush but he allowed it and seeing that Noah wasn’t resisting lifted the shirt until the skinnier boy’s shirt was lifted from his body. “You know, I’ve always found the heart thing really cute.” He said with a smile as he rubbed the chest hair which made Noah blush as he returned the favor admired the chiseled abs and pecs and the small brown treasure trail that went down his chest going down to parts hidden by the dogs pants. “Um, curious have you ever…?”’

“Ever…?” Noah responded beckoning the other boy to finish his sentence making the dog go bright red.

“Bottom? I… assume you’ve had sex…” James mumbles face redder than Noah’s ever seen it and he blushed in return. “I kinda wanna top if that’s okay. I… am not sure I’m comfortable bottoming right now.”

“I mean… I’ve had sex with two people… but topped both times… so no have never bottomed… but I am willing? I can… understand why you aren’t that comfortable given everything you’ve been through.” Noah says not explaining who he had slept with not finding that any of the dogs business especially regarding Rex since he wasn’t sure on the dogs view on incest. He was nervous though, he knew the alsatian was the same size as him but he was still determined to take it. “So… I guess lets get naked?” He says getting up and undoing his belt and pulling his pants down with his underwear once he stepped out of those clothes standing in front of the alsatian naked dick half-hard. James seemed to gawk a bit before taking a breath and joining him doing the same.

Noah let himself admire the dog, taking him all in before moving closer and beginning to kiss him moving them to lay back on the bed. “You ok?”’ He asked in a concerned tone? “I’m not hurting you am I?”

“I’m fine… it hurts but you are… pretty big and I’ve never bottomed before. Just stop for a bit and let me adjust ok?” James just nodded and after a minute or so and the burning slowly began to stop and he gave the dog a nod to give him the permission to continue move, James nodded back and started moving again and got another 5in in before Noah had him stop again. It took a bit but soon enough they had gathered everybody. The two had quite the conversation as they had waited for James knot to deflate and they had gotten dressed though James remained shirtless. Aidan let out a hum as he looked over the sigil on the younger man’s shoulder.

“So let me get this straight, you guys had sex and then suddenly this showed up out of nowhere on your body?” He asked, causing both the boys to become awkward. They had argued briefly on if they should tell the whole truth about what happened and reluctantly agreed that it would probably be for the best but both were starting to regret that decision. Emily had this weirdly smug look on her face and both Loni and Elena were just giggling going about the stereotype of teenage boys screwing anything that moved and Flint just looked awkward probably remembered the time he walked in on Noah and Rex.

“Ye-yeah… basically… I didn’t think it was possible for that to happen, I mean I had sex with Jerome after but he didn’t become glowy” Noah confessed and he noticed James gave him a curious look wondering who this Jerome was but Noah ignored it, he would explain later even if he still didn’t think it was anyone's business.

“Whose Jerome? Was he cute?” Emily asked with a smirk having also noticed James’s curious look and obviously decided to take initiative if only to tease the wolf.

“He… was a guy I met in Eldra… he was the son of the Lt. Commander there. Nice guy and yes///he was pretty cute.”

“Oh, Jerome Higgs, I know him. He’s a good kid, very polite but I remember his Dad’s reaction when he dyed his hair pink was a bit of a shock but always found it funny. He was the head of his rifle club at his school. I believe his father would always brag about how much of a good marksman he was, it was sweet.” Rex spoke up with a smile. “So you guys got close, that's nice. Heard he joined the academy bet he’ll thrive there.” Rex said with a nod before stretching looking at James. “You know what powers you got kid? Jake has time and darkness so wonder what you got since your sigil looks different.” He says patting the boys shoulder.

“I uh… no idea? How would I even use it?” Noah spoke up after this and got up.

“It’s a bit weird, you don’t exactly think about it… it’s more…instinctual? It just comes to you naturally like imagine your power and make it manifest like so!” He said as he closed his eyes and with a breath and a ball of darkness began to form above his paw. “See! Simple as for my other element? Hey Flint, try and punch me.” The tiger looked very nervous at that request.

“Are you sure? I mean, I could probably hurt you if I actually hit you.” Noah nodded his ascent with a smile patting the man’s shoulder. “Got time powers, remember?” Flint just nodded and stepping back and winding up his right arm and moves to slug the boy until Noah’s sigil started glowing and right as it got close to it his face it began to slow rapidly almost to a standstill as Noah casually stepped aside avoiding it entirely before turning his sigil off causing to him to return to full speed and easily missing the wolf. “See! Dark and time! Now you try, see what you can do.” James gets up and tries to do what Noah did and his sigil began to glow and light began to form above his paw and just as suddenly Noah began to float into the air enshrouded by a strange dark light causing him to flail in surprise. “He-hey! I’m floating” Rex took action immediately and activated his seal and canceled out the light letting Noah fall back onto his feet.

“Okay, Light and Space seems to be your powers, huh the opposing elements of Jake’s very fascinating. If you want I can train you a bit on how to use your space based powers given well… I am kind of good at space based abilities.” He says with a smirk crossing his arms. James regarded the much smaller man and paused.

“I think that would be good… I wanna be able to defend myself better and be more useful. I only barely know how to use a gun and I have no real physical combat training either… well um besides football so I know how to tackle people but not sure that counts.” Rex chuckles at that.

“You sound like Dev, he said something similar, but yeah both Lt. Hart and I have gone through the academy so we’ll give you all a crash course on how to fight and use weapons. Be warned though neither of us are going to hold back. You guys are probably going to get into a lot of fights where its killed or be killed. Of course you’ve both been through that already with what happened in Crosstown and Eldra but again still can’t hurt to train.” He says slapping his hands together. “Okay then, let's get started!”

Training was brutal… The ship happened to have a VCRS station built in the lower parts of the ship, a fully furnished one with all the bells and whistles causing both of the boys to go starry eyed at the sight and even Emily looked super impressed at everything. Flint also of course being on his Universities VCRS team. Aidan however looked completely unimpressed. The next few hours were filled with brutal training regiments and once everything was done Noah, James and even Emily were left tired and sore.

“Oww… sore… can barely move.” Noah moaned out in pain, James just groans to his left and Emily whimpers to his right.

“D-do all soldiers go through this… I hurt in places I didn’t think I could hurt in,” Emily grumbles getting up from where she laid frowning. “Okay, I’m going to spend the rest of the flight in the spa… tell me when we reach Greasham okay?” She says brushing herself off before heading out of the room. “Oh, and they have a boys' version if you guys want to rest and relax. I recommend it! Being pampered is nice!” She says before waving as she leaves.

“That does sound nice! How about it guys?” Flint asked, a bit winded from the training but far from the pathetic state the two boys were in which honestly made Noah kinda jealous. It did make sense, he was older and obviously in excellent physical shape plus being on a VCRS team meant none of this was really new to him but Noah still felt a bit bitter about being showed up so much.

“Y-yeah… but can you help us up Flint… I can’t move… too sore…” The tiger just chuckles easily lifting both boys over his shoulder leaving Noah silently impressed he knew the tiger was strong but damn.

“Are we allowed to Leave Aidan? Commander Reaper?”

“You can, but please you guys can call me Rex, you guys are Jake’s friends and well outside of Lt. Hart here are civilians so I don’t expect you to keep up such formality… though when we get to Rocky… yeah address her as Commander Groundwater at all times. She’s more strict on this. Nice lady but very blunt and no-nonsense in how she handles everything. Which given what she has to deal with makes sense. But go on, enjoy the spa we should be landing in Greasham in about 2 hours I think.” He says before leaving the room himself, Flint took this permission and headed on asking where the male spa was only for the ship’s AI made parts of the floor to glow leading the way which he followed.

The spa was actually really nice, made of the finest wood and probably something you’d see in a fancy Rillotian mansion.

“The Commander really didn’t skimp out, wonder if all Commander Airships are like this?” Flint asked looking around the place. It really was incredible.

“Who knows? Anyway, lets get pampered! God I’m sore” Noah groaned.

The trio wound up spending the rest of the flight getting massages and in the sauna… there was a bit of a shock when the tiger had so casually dropped his pants and Noah got an eye-full of the tiger’s junk… the tiger was even bigger than he was! Then again the tiger was big everywhere so it shouldn’t be too shocking. Their bliss ended when the intercom rang telling everyone on the ship that they would be landing in 20min with this knowledge the two boys swiftly got dressed and hurried to the bridge wanting to see Greasham from the sky before they landed. Once they reached the bridge they were given quite the sight. Gresham was a medium sized city centered around a large mountain in the middle of the city that looked like it had numerous massive metal doors on the top part of the mountain the rest of the town looked like your typical town placed within a large valley with the surrounding mountains being full of large holes with tracks coming out of them, must have been the mines given Greasham was a mining city. “Wow, so this is Greasham? I’ve seen pictures but seeing it in person is different.” Emily noted in awe of the city. “So I guess the big mountain is the Emerald Crown? The HQ of the Weleshnan MODD forcers? An entire military fortress built inside a large mountain, incredible.”

“Yeah, you can thank the first Elemental Lord of Earth, The Spiny Tailed Lizard Jubair. He was a bit of a paranoiac regarding safety and carved the mountain himself with some of his men shortly after the war was done. It's a massive fortress, possibly one of the largest of the MODD HQ’s. It also has one of the largest VCRS system in Mortaelis though it’s more strictly used for military training drills only a small part of it is for civilian and non-military use. Rocky has been very hardass on ensuring her men are among the best trained in the world so they can continue fighting off the Inquisition see?” Rex said pointing towards the massive obsidian wall that carved the land just outside the valley where Greasham was and went on what seemed like endlessly. “That’s the Great Wall of Graesham, it’s the main defense against the inquisition it was bult about 200 years ago and it spans the entire country. Everything beyond it is Inqusition controlled territory and nobody really knows what goes on there but we do know when they first conquer an area well… I’m sure you learned in school.

“Seems a bit crazy they would allow the biggest mining operation so close to the front line… seems like a strong target?” James pointed out. “If this place falls then MODD loses it’s main mining operation where thy get most of their raw material.”

“True, but MODD knew that so they especially under the last EL Conrad Groundwater they managed to clear roughly 100 miles out from the wall, there is another smaller fortress on that end of things which is supposed to be the first line of defense against Inquisition assaults and it is equipped with one of the best anti-artillery lasers on earth. Though only the most skilled and trusted of Rocky’s men are allowed to be stationed there.”

“Okay, that makes more sense… so what happens when we land? I wonder what Commander Groundwater has been told?” Noah finally spoke up a bit nervous, he was still getting used to the fact people knew him from before what he remembers and how many people knew his birth father… Isaac Reaper… I. Reaper… he really had been with him his entire life hadn’t he? Yet until now Noah never even knew that. There was also the fact that he still hadn’t watched the disk his dad had given him, honestly too scared what he would find out, he knew his father wasn’t a bad person but still he figured he was a bit scared of the truth.

“I’m sure my dad told her everything he knew and I’m sure Conway Groundwater made sure she was informed of everything before passing the seal onto her. But we should learn shortly, she’s waiting in the airshop dock right as we speak do we will meet her in a few minutes.” Aidan explained calmly, Noah could only nod as they got closer and closer until the massive metal door near the top of the mountain opened and lights began to flash as if to direct the pilot fo the ship in and after another 5 minutes they were in a massive dock with several other smaller airships surrounding them. On the platform where the ship docked he saw three figures. One was a tall bear woman in full military uniform, by her was another bear a polar bear in this case also in military wear and a… gorilla in priest robes? Must have been the Graesham forces head chaplain but he didn’t expect to meet him as well?

He had only briefly met the Chaplain in Eldra shortly after the aftermath and before the service was a very nice kangaroo woman. Soon enough they were fully docked and Rex led them out to meet the three figures Noah felt his heart beat in his throat as they got closer he felt something odd, like something screaming in his head danger but he couldn’t tell where… it almost seemed like it was coming from two sources, one of them the polar bear and another from the gorilla but they both felt… different and Noah couldn’t really figure out what they meant he just knew something was up with those two however what that was he wasn’t sure. But before he could think any more on it the large bear woman spoke up her voice surprisingly deep for a woman though still clearly feminine in nature.

“Welcome, Good to see you Commander Reaper, Lt. Hart… others.” She said, nodding towards the two people with actual military rank. “You have my sympathies Lt. Hart about what happened in Eldra. We will do what we can to help them rebuild.” Aidan thanked her for her sympathy right as she started looking towards Noah, making the boy shiver a bit from her sheer presence; she didn’t seem near as approachable as Commander Hart or Rex was. “So you are Reaper’s little brother, the one who went missing all those years ago.Good to see you alive.” With that simple thing she turns towards the men next to her. “As for these two, meet Sgt. Major Luke Kaminksi and Father Randall Belford the head chaplain of the Graesham MODD forces.”

“It’s an honor! Good to see you again Rex, Aidan it’s been awhile since the last MODD War games!” The polar bear said with a smile as he approached the two, Noah got that feeling again but strangely despite the warning bells… whatever he felt from the bear didn’t feel malicious so he let it go and Rex and Aidan seemed to be happy to see him.”

“Good to see you two Luke! Still got bruises from our fight!” Aidan said with a bright smile shaking the man's hand.

“Still the same, you almost got me though, so should feel proud don’t see many Asýnchroni of your caliber. But enough of that, congratulations on finding your brother Rex.” During all this conversation the priest stayed silent just watching them and Noah still felt those strange feelings but once again his thoughts were interrupted by Commander Groundwater.

“Okay, the introductions are nice but we got a meeting to attend Sgt. Major, you are welcome to sit in Commander Reaper, Lt. Hart but the others we will take you to your rooms where you will be staying.” With that she leaves and the others follow as she took them deeper into the mountain and Noah began to wonder just what brought him here.

“
