Part Fifteen

“...City Center Co-op, this is Jillian speaking, how may I help you today?” the perky voice asked.

“Hey there Jill, it's Keven Morgan from Craggin Moore Farm, just checking in to see if you folks need to update your delivery order for tomorrow.” I said.

“Oh, Heyy Kev, how's it, Growing?” she asked with a giggle, the radiant grin in her voice coming through the com loud and clear. “Let me transfer you to Josh in produce, K?” she chirped.

“Things are Growing Verry abundantly Hon, and thanks, I hope to see you tomorrow.” I chuckled as she transferred me.

“... Ya got Josh the Greens man, what up?” He asked.

“Josh! It's Keven Morgan, just checking in to see if you needed to modify your produce order before I delivered tomorrow.” I asked.

“Oh, Yeah! Hey... glad you called, actually. Was looking over the fresh sheet this afternoon, and was wondering if we could add a case of those new tomatoes you got coming in?”

“The Rutgurs?” I asked .

“Yeah! Those are the old school kinda tomatoes, right? He asked.

“Yeah they are, great flavor, they make fantastic sauce, tasty soup, and are awesome on a BLT!” I chuckled.

“Niiice! I love to rock a slammin BLT! Do you think we can add a case of those to the delivery this week, just to see if folks like them?” Josh asked.

“Sure, I can bring you a case, we should have them for the next couple of months, this is a new variety I am testing to see how it sells. I was thinking of getting back into the farmer's market and I think they would be a great seller.”

“Rock on, put us down for a case of those, and good thing you are delivering tomorrow... We've had a run on those Radishes. You grow the tastiest veggies, and I am really glad we are on your delivery rout. ” The Co-op's produce manager said.

“Your customers are People who can appreciate Farm Fresh organic produce, and that is what I am all about. And now that I have a couple helpers around I'm going to be expanding the operation. Do you need anything else, or was that it for this time round?” I asked.

“Sweet, naah I think we can hold out tel tomorrow, usual delivery time, Yeah?” Josh asked.

“Yup, Ten A.M is what I'm shooting for, Josh.”

“All righty then, looking forward to seeing you on the flip side Kev, and thanks for calling.”

II hung up and looked over the order, then printed out the pick sheet and invoice then did a bit of research on what was needed for setting up a VR rig for my private dancer. The information returns were not as bad as I was expecting. I next put in an order for a gold anodized chrome vanadium steel pipe, flanges and other assorted mounting hardware, set that information into the VR projects folder. My next order of business was the expansion, reviewing my lay-out I had at least five level acres I could expand onto without the need for any heavy equipment. I plotted out various configurations for greenhouses and open beds, what I might be able to produce in them, and worked up a timetable for the expansion project verses the ongoing operations. Almost two hours later I managed to hammer out something workable. Fortunately I could fabricate most of what I needed in the shop, referencing the farmer's market site, it gave me a fairly good list of what was on offer but I may just need to do a walk through to see how much things have changed. I think it may be a rather fun excursion showing them first hand just how much fun one could have at the Farmer's market. Going to check on my girls...

Looking at the clock on the wall it was almost three hours. Walking over to the couch Cheryl was flat on her back and Mel was laying atop her like a Mousey blanket using the Skunkette's breasts like plush purple pillows. It brought a smile to my face. I now had these two morph companions in my life, almost like a 'package deal'. With Cher Life bonding to me, that added a whole new dimension to the mix. Going down on one knee, I lightly caressed their heads slowly waking them from their slumbers.

“Hello my loves, have a nice nap?” I asked my companions as they stretched blinking and slowly sat up.

“Oh, yes Sir, how long were we out?” Sherry asked rolling her shoulders then arching her back as three vertebrae popped “Oof! That felt better.” she said tousling her hair.

“About three hours.” I said.

”So, any additions to the Co-op order?” Mel asked.

“Matter of fact, they want a case of tomatoes, so we can probably expect them to add at least one case from here on out. The kale, salad mix, radishes and carrots should be easy to handle. The fingerling's shouldn't take us too long, working together we can probably have it done in about an hour or so. I like to deliver by mid morning, so around ten A.M is what I am shooting for so if we start around seven thirty, we should have everything knocked out, washed and packed by nine. And let's not forget a special sample case for Mrs Fisher as a thank you for looking out for you both. and with a transit time of around, thirty minutes or there abouts, things should run like clockwork. After we pick up Cher's stuff, we can do lunch in the city. How does Pan-Jang's sound?” I inquired.

“Oh, I love that place!” Cher exclaimed. “Remember that place Mel? We went there on your Birthday.” The lavender Skunkette asked my Mousey.

“That 'all you can eat' place? Oh my god you just about had to roll me out of there after our dinner date, that place is amazing! Thank you Kev, I'd love it.” Mel enthused.

“Thank you Master Kev, So... What's next?”

“I was thinking, if you two were feeling up for it, that we have a session in the Sauna.”

“Oh yeah, I love the Sauna! It may seem funny that a fur ball morph has an affinity for heat, but I have found it really makes me feel so much better.” Cher beamed. “And the plunge pool really cools me down, so I can do another round.” she grinned skritching the Lavender fur on her chest.

“Then you can finish off in the hot tub.” I added.

“That sounds Perfect to me. I have never met a Sauna spirit, but than again I have never experienced a Finnish Sauna before. I am really looking forward to this.” Cheryl enthused as we headed out to the back deck.

Starting the fire I evoked the spirit of the Sauna as the crackling wood roared to life and a wave of heat started to warm the sacred space.

“It should be somewhere between fifteen and twenty minutes to come up to temp, this being an old school wood fired Sauna, it is not a sealed unit, unlike a modern infrared or electric fired Sauna these have authentic fire stones; volcanic. Collected by a Finnish shaman I knew who assisted me in building it. I think you will find your time here to be more than rewarding.” I said as we sat in the intimate surroundings of the Sauna.

“Oh, this is very nice.” Mel murred as the space warmed. Sherry stretched out on the top tear of benches soaking in the growing heat like a purple sponge.

“Oh yeaah, I can already tell this is going to be good, I feel very welcome here and am more comfortable than I have ever been in all the times I used the one at the gym. I had to wear a bathing suite in there, This feels...” Sherry paused in contemplation trying to put words to feelings. “...This feels, Ancient, like I am coming home to a way of life I never knew, yet, have a deep need in my soul for, that part of my life that was missing for soo long? Does that make sense?” She asked looking over at us. Mel shrugged, I nodded as if listening to a far off voice.

“You, my dear Skunkette have just described another form of _ Orlog _. Discovering something or rediscovering something that feels long lost, that is a vital part of your life, yet not sure just how you have managed to live without it all these years.”

“Yes! That's exactly what this feels like!” Sherry Sighed deeply “I feel such a sense of contentment here, like being a morph doesn't matter.... Yeah, you're right, that here and now, is where all the choices and decisions I made in my life has brought me home again.”

“What?” who are you talking to, Sherry?” Mel asked as she basked in the radiant heat of the Sauna.

“Um, didn't you say that this was my new home Sir?” the Skunkette asked. “I thought I heard you say something about being home?”

“That was Gormba the Sauna spirit, letting you know he accepts you in his realm, you too Mousey mine, he says you need to relax a bit more and quiet the clutter in your mind to get the most out of the experience.” I smiled at the surprised mouse.

“Oh! I do tend to have a lot going on in my head. Um, Thank you? Um Gormba, I'll try and quiet things down from now on.” she said ducking her head blushing a bit.

“No worries, if you have trouble quieting the noise, picture your mind as a room; and in that room are several radios. One for each bit of mental static, voices, music, and the thoughts constantly running through your mind.” I said and Mel nodded a moment later.

“Okay, now go around the room switching them off, and as you do, you notice it gets quieter and quieter until it is just you and the mental quiet.” I said watching Mel furrow her brow a moment in concentration as she worked her way through the mental exercise then smiled. “Whoa, that's amazing. It 'So... What?” she asked turning towards the Sauna heater despite having her eyes closed

“...oh, okay thank you, it's....Gormba, okay. I'll let them know thank you.” she said opening her eyes looking at me.

“Gormba said it's time for the lolly? Luuu-loo? Um, the water.” she said pointing at the Sauna bucket. Blushing.

“The steam in a Finnish Sauna is said to manifest the spirit of the Sauna, behold.” I said taking a dipper of water from the Sauna bucket and dashing it on the hot stones.

FWOOSH! Clouds of steam filled the dry heated air.

”Whoooa!” it feels like I was just wrapped in a nice warm blanket!” The mouse exclaimed.

“Ohhh yeah, that's what was missing! The Sauna at the gym was a dry one. Ooh, yeeaah.” The Skunkette groans in pleasure fanning the steam over her fur.

“I'm melting here, it feels sooo good...” she moans. Running her paws through her suddenly soggy fur.

“Oh yeah, this really is what makes life worth living.” I sigh enjoying the shared experience. Ten minutes later Sherry slides off the top bench. “Time to cool off, be right back. She says as she heads for the door. Ten seconds later we hear a sharp scream and the sound of splashing. “Woo! Yeah!” she laughs then reenters the Sauna soaked to the bone and grinning like a mad thing.

“Thank you Gormba that felt wonderful!” I was starting to get very drifty just laying there, then I hear this voice say, 'Plunge pool...Now!' So off I went, looks like it's your turn next, Mel. you are looking just a bit melted.” she asked the panting mouse morph who nods and steps out. A moment later another “Woop! Burrrr!” then in comes Mel looking chilled to the bone. Her nipples stiff enough to cut glass Mel was hugging herself and shivering a moment.

“Woah that was COLD! But I feel tingly all over, it's really nice actually.” She says and sits on the lower bench laying back sighing in contentment.

“I Love the Sauna.” My mousey murrs “Thank you, Thank you thank you, one and all.”

After we each had three rounds, it was time to cool down in the hot tub. We thanked the Sauna spirit and relaxed cooling down in the warm waters of the hot tub. Just enjoying the vault of stars in the night sky.
