Don't worry, Jet, you'll get through this. Rakkarth will help and you got a nice hot croc to take your mind of things later 8)

By the way, this was my first time ever writing with a trans character (Rayne, transman). I just did what felt okay: like this is Rayne, he/him, he is a dommy crocodile and ready to fuck, but please let me know if there's anything I could improve. >////>

All comments/feedback welcome <3 Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it

  1. Back to Business

Jet and Rakkarth stood side by side in the bathroom as they brushed their teeth, glad to finally move on with their night - or day, rather, as the sun had begun to rise and peek out across the city. Rakkarth had sat on the bathroom counter minutes before and let Jet dab his muzzle with the same antibiotic ointment the shark had on his neck (We’re ointment twins now! Jet had exclaimed, and Rakkarth had chuckled at that).

Once they had finished brushing their teeth, Jet stood there and stared at his reflection. Suddenly his face grew pale and he began to sway back and forth, catching himself on the counter.

“Whoa, hey, you okay?” Rakkarth asked, placing his paws on Jet’s shoulders.

“I’m going to be sick,” Jet replied, darting over to the toilet and hunching over it.

The wolf sighed, having moved next to Jet, brushing Jet’s hair away from his face and rubbing his back.

“I’m sorry,” Jet said between expulsions.

“There’s nothing for you to be sorry for, Jet.”

When Jet had finished, he stood up and stepped back over to the sink, cupping his hands under the faucet and bringing them up to his mouth, swishing the water around and spitting it out.

“Better?”

“Yeah.”

“All right, I’m turning in. Good n-”

“Wait!” Jet called out. “Could you… could you please stay? I haven’t really… I mean I’ve caught glances on accident, but… I’ve been too afraid to really look at them.”

Rakkarth nodded and leaned against the door frame. “Take your time, Jet.”

The shark returned his gaze to his reflection, his own face staring back at him, grim but determined. With a deep breath, he began to turn around, covering his mouth as his eyes ran over his shoulder and back and saw the masses of purple, injured flesh spreading out around like a disease. His other hand flew out to grab something to steady himself and Rakkarth took it in his paw, holding it tight.

“He said he loved me, Rakk. He’d buy me something, or take me somewhere, but somehow I’d ‘make some mistake’ he’d say, and… this. This would happen.”

“Someone who truly loved you wouldn’t do that to you.”

Jet turned back around and leaned forward against the counter, staring at his reflection blurred by the moisture pooling in his eyes. He sighed and thought about everything that had happened - not just that night, but the past two years after moving in; coming home late some nights or not at all; waking Rakkarth up with his drunken foolishness on the worst of them when he had been with Asher; raiding the wolf’s beer stash or his smokes before he’d had a job and could buy his own; throwing away towels splattered with blood from when Asher had used his claws; and now this - bothering Rakkarth again and taking out his pent up rage on him.

Jet covered his face with his hands and whispered, “I’m so sorry, Rakk.”

“For?”

“All the dumb shit you’ve had to deal with after taking me in. All the shit I’ve caused and put you through. You really got a raw fuckin’ deal out of this roommates thing,” Jet chuckled bitterly.

“Jet, I’m glad you’re here. I think I got exactly the roommate I needed to help me, too. I wouldn’t want anyone else.”

The shark sniffed took one more look at his reflection, regarding it with… not exactly hatred, but something else, disappointment or pity, maybe. His eyes drifted over to Rakkarth’s reflection and he let out a sigh.

If Rakk’s okay with me, maybe I’m all right, then, he thought, turning and starting to leave. He stopped beside the wolf, looking up at him and smiling. The wolf smiled back at him and nodded once.

“Yeah… maybe,” he said softly, reaching up and placing his hand on Rakkarth’s shoulder, squeezing it gently. “Thanks. For being there for me tonight.”

“I was happy to be, Jet.”

Jet’s blushed gently as he felt himself leaning into Rakkarth, but like earlier that night, he caught himself and pulled back. He looked away and gave out a half-hearted chuckle as he walked past.

“Good night, Rakk.”

Jet disappeared into his bedroom and slowly shut the door, sitting down on the edge of his bed. He heard the gentle thumping of Rakkarth’s footfalls and the clacking of his claws against the wood floor and then his bedroom door shutting. Jet held his head in his hands, sobbing silently; out of fury and embarrassment, longing and terror. His entire body shook with each sob; knees knocking together; eyes shut and teeth clenched; his tail curled around him almost in comfort, but if it had had a mind of its own, Jet would have known it was terrified, too.

He leaned back in bed and onto his side, drawing his knees upwards towards his chest. He covered his head with one arm and cupped his hand around his mouth. The darkness of the room lowered itself onto him, pressing him there against the mattress, slithering its way up and into his eyes, wrapping itself around his brain and squeezing. He could feel two fiery yellow eyes staring at him from the corner, and a shimmer of silver in the moonlight; the tips of five razor sharp claws dragging along the interior of his skull screeching like nails on a chalkboard; scraping away the blood and flesh and fat and nerves; down to the bone; and down below that, too; his soul drifting upwards and into the ceiling to spread out and dissipate into the rafters, flung into oblivion by the blades of his ceiling fan. In that moment, Jet thought what a welcome feeling nothingness might’ve been. He jumped and shook his head when he heard Rakkarth cough in the other room.

A ray of sunlight pierced through his blinds and into his room, and the darkness began to recede. Jet looked around and saw, for once, nothing lurking in the shadows of his room or his mind to hurt him - he hoped, anyway. If he never saw Asher again, well, that was fucking fine with him… and maybe that would be the case, now. He let out a sigh, comforted by that defiant ray of light drifting along his bedroom wall as the sun rose, and rolled over onto his back. He crossed his arms behind his head and let one leg hang lazily off the bed.

He thought again about the phone call, how freeing it felt to just let everything out that had been boiling inside him. How, he had hoped, Asher sat there and stewed or cried or threw a tantrum, something embarrassing.

“Something that asshole deserves, at least,” Jet whispered. “Oh… right,” he said as he sat up, picking up his phone. He fumbled with it for a few minutes and then set it back down on his night stand. “There, now he’s deleted and blocked, all his dick pics are gone, so are the texts. All of that shit.”

His mind began to wander as he watched his ceiling fan spin, getting lost in the soft whispering of its motor. His leg kicked restlessly, the tip of his tail flicking back and forth. A dull headache had begun to manifest in the front of his skull and around his eyes - a hangover to be sure, or perhaps it was from crying all night long. He shut his eyes and rubbed them before sitting back up.

“Okay, fuck it. I won’t sleep then, happy now?” he said to no one in particular.

He stood up and flipped the light on, setting out to pick up everything he had knocked off or thrown around in his fit of cathartic rage. When that was done, he left his bedroom and crept down the hall and put the bottle of bourbon away, having found that the cap had flown all the way into the kitchen sink. He then dumped and rinsed all of the open cans of beer and tossed them into the recycle bin and returned to the couch to pick up his shirt.

He slipped it over his head and inhaled, his eyes fluttering and his cheeks flushing as he got a whiff of Alyr from the night before, the wolf’s sweat and musk having drenched the fabric from when they were in the bathroom together. He held it up to his nose and inhaled again, deeply, his shoulders tingling, toes curling.

“You’d have treated me better than Asher, wouldn’t you, big Redwolf?” he asked softly into the cloth. He remembered the way Alyr had held him in the throes of their passion - his body pressed firmly against the wolf’s own, Alyr’s arms tight around him, secure. He finished slipping his shirt on.

“I should have asked you to stay, too,” he whispered bitterly, absently drumming his palms on the headrest of the couch. “Who knows? You might have even said yes.”

Jet chuckled and shook his head. “No. No you wouldn’t have. They never do.”

He filled a glass with water in the kitchen sink and went back to his room, fishing the bottle of painkillers he had bought a few days ago from his duffel bag. He shoveled some into his mouth and chased them down, coughing for a moment before lying back in bed and finally drifting off to sleep.

* * *

When Jet next awoke, it was at the usual time, around 2 PM. He sat forward and stretched, arching his back and scratching his neck. He blinked slowly, trying to banish the last fingers of slumber from his vision and stood up, stumbling out into the hallway. His head still ached, the throbs slow but persistent against the back of his head, like someone was trying to knock his brain forward and out of his eye sockets. In the kitchen, he started up a pot of coffee and then retrieved his pack of smokes and lighter from the coffee table, lighting one up, that first drag of the day burning his lungs so wonderfully. He stretched again as he exhaled and moved back into the kitchen to wait for the coffee to finish brewing.

He sat down at the table and looked outside. Early this morning before he had gone to sleep it appeared as though the day would be sunny, but that sky said otherwise. Grey and dreary, it hung overhead filled with clouds that boiled and churned through the sky, heavy and ready to burst.

“Mmm, that’s fine,” Jet said and yawned. “Rain’s good, I like rain.”

“That’s definitely coming from someone not covered in fur, all right.”

Jet perked up and smiled, throwing his hands into the air. “Daddy’s awake! Good morning!”

Rakkarth grumbled, rubbing his eyes before putting his glasses on. He plodded over to the kitchen table and sat down, lighting up a smoke as well. Jet leaned to the side and looked under the table, scanning for something. Nope, nothing down there but legs and thighs.

The wolf raised an eyebrow. “What are you doing?”

“Hm? Oh, looking for a towel. I half expected to see one come flying out of nowhere to smack me in the head,” he said, grinning.

Rakkarth chuckled, taking another drag.

“But, nope!” Jet stood up, pinching his smoke in the corner of his mouth as he stepped over to the coffee pot, setting down two mugs and filling them. He grabbed the creamer from the fridge and dumped some into his, followed by a few spoonfuls of sugar.

“Does Daddy want any cream or sugar?”

“No, thanks.”

Jet picked the mugs up and stepped back over to the table, setting one down in front of Rakkarth.

“Thanks,” Rakkarth said, blowing onto it before taking a sip.

“No towel, but I did see something else under there that I wouldn’t mind getting smacked in the head with,” he said, grinning, his eyes narrowed.

Rakkarth snorted and coughed, hacking up the coffee that he’d sucked into his lungs. He glowered at Jet who winked at him.

“That’s for the love bite comment last night,” Jet said with a wink.

The wolf shut his eyes and huffed, taking another sip of his coffee and then a drag. He looked at Jet through narrowed, glittering eyes, hazy behind the smoke and said, “So I take it you don’t want me to smack you with it, then?”

Jet’s face grew pale and he blushed fiercely, stammering, suddenly looking out the window as if something insanely interesting was going on outside. Rakkarth stared at him for a few moments before a deep chuckle escaped his throat.

“That was cheap,” Jet spat, his face still burning. “God damn I’m rubbing off on you.”

Rakkarth laughed harder, his muzzle parted in a rare smile. “Rubbing, huh?”

“Oh my god. Go back. Go back, right now to being grumpy and calling me a dumb ass and shit.”

Rakkarth nodded, pleased, and continued to sip his coffee. Jet sipped his as well, his heart pounding and his cheeks flushed. He bristled as he felt something warm touch his hand.

“But really, how are you feeling this morning, Jet?” Rakkarth asked, patting Jet’s hand.

The shark smiled. “I think… I’m okay. I mean, it still feels weird? Like I expect him to just show up out of no where, but I think that’s just something I’ll have to get over.”

The wolf smiled. “I’ll help you in any way I can.”

Jet sniffled, “Thanks, Rakk.”

* * *

“Jet?” Rakkarth called out, opening the front door. “It’s 7:30, I’m heading out if you wanted to walk with me.”

From somewhere in the back of the apartment came Jet’s voice: “Coming! Just need one second to get this god damn - there!” He jogged down the hallway and to the front door.

“Don’t get earrings, Rakk. They’re hot as hell, but fuckin’ annoying.”

Today was Toy Thursday at The Fairy Tail and, as one might guess, involved different aides of all shapes and sizes, supplied by your friendly freaks from The Hoard. As such, there was no ‘proper’ dress code or required outfit as there was for such other days like Tuxedo Tuesday, so Jet set out in his usual attire with his duffel bag hanging from one hand, smiling up at Rakkarth as they descended the stairs.

As they neared the main entrance of the apartment complex, they saw a bright flash shoot across the sky, heard a loud crack, and the floodgates in the clouds broke open.

Rakkarth scowled, his ears lowering as he growled out a, “God damn it,” through clenched fangs at the prospect of working in damp clothes and fur tonight.

The shark patted him on the shoulder, “Don’t worry, babe, I got us.” He fished around in his bag and flourished a collapsible umbrella, deploying it.

“Ta-daaa!” He handed it to Rakkarth. “There we go! Figured I’d pack one just in case.”

The wolf smiled and took it, lifting it above his head as he stepped outside into the rain. He held the door open for Jet. “Come on, get under.”

The rain above them pattered onto the canopy of the umbrella and slid down it, dripping off the sides and splattering onto the ground. The day was dreary, sure, but spirits were high and company was great. Their footfalls splashed as they walked, and the air smelled good, cool and clean.

Jet tucked himself into Rakkarth’s side under the umbrella as they walked. The wolf put his arm around Jet and held him close, his paw curling around Jet’s shoulder, and Jet couldn’t help but blush gently as he felt the squeeze. Rakkarth looked down and his grip loosened a little, his paw instead resting lightly there.

“I’m sorry, Jet.”

“For what?”

“For earlier. The joke and then the rubbing remark. I don’t know. I guess over the years, I’ve forgotten how to let those that matter to me know they matter. It’s easy for me to keep people at arm’s length, but I find it awkward and difficult to play around with or joke with people.”

“It’s all right, Rakk,” Jet said softly, leaning his head onto the wolf’s shoulder. “We can talk about it after work, okay?”

“Right.”

As they passed by Swampwater and Rakkarth stepped inside, he stood in the entrance and handed the umbrella to Jet. The shark took it and held it above his head.

“I’ll see you tonight, Jet,” Rakkarth said, nodding before he turned and disappeared inside.

“Yeah… see you,” Jet replied, ears lowering, a strange empty feeling hanging in the air around him. He stood there for a long moment before he, too, turned and continued along next door to The Fairy Tail.

“Hello, Lexi,” Jet said as he collapsed the umbrella, shaking excess water off of it before stuffing it into his duffel bag. “Beautiful weather isn’t it?”

Alexi stared blankly at him as they responded flatly, “You try having wet fur for a day, Jet.”

“You know, you’re the second person to say that to me today,” Jet chuckled. “Did you enjoy your day off yesterday?”

The lynx smiled and pulled their cell phone out, “Oh, yeah me and the boyfriend took a day trip over to Western Portdam to see the leaves change for autumn. Here,” they held their phone up, swiping through each picture every few seconds, “Took some pictures.”

“Sick!” Jet smiled.

Alexi slid their phone back into their pocket. “How about you?”

Jet paused, taking a deep breath and biting his lower lip. “Uh, sure. It was… fine. Didn’t really do anything, honestly.”

“Aw, that sucks.”

“It’s all right; can you buzz me in?”

“Sure. Have a good evening, Jet.”

Alexi pressed the button and Jet opened the door, turning to smile at them. He winked and said:

“Would be more fun if you were back there with me, Lexi, darling!” He chuckled as he stepped through, hearing Alexi scoff and groan behind him.

The shark strode backstage, in high spirits all things considered. It was hard not to be, in his case anyway - getting paid to get off, something he’d do for free and usually did in his free time. He moved over to his locker and dropped his belongings inside and then lifted the folder from its slot and read it over.

Rayne, male, forty-two, croc, clean, Jet’s eyes glittered and he smirked, snapping the folder shut and depositing it back inside its holder.

He headed over to his usual room and let himself inside. The room remained mostly the same as it had been after tuxedo night, except now an extra table had been set up after everything had been cleaned. Upon it were dozens of toys of all shapes, species, and sizes. He shivered at the possibilities, lifting one up (fighting the urge to swing it around like a sword and giggle like a maniac). He placed it back on the table and dressed down to his boxers and waited.

Soon, like always, there was a knock and Jet sauntered over, flinging it open. He smiled at the crocodile standing in front of him, his eyes glittering with desire and anticipation.

“Hello, darling, my name is Jet, and welcome to my toy room,” he said, looking up at the large reptile standing before him.

Rayne stood at least a foot taller than Jet, covered in scales that spanned the colors from deep blue-green, to a rich emerald. His tight shirt could hardly contain the muscles within, his arms large and confident, claws deliciously sharp. His thighs were curvy and his legs were strong. His hefty tail lay heavily behind him, dragging on the carpet with each step. Two bright olive eyes stared intently at Jet from beneath ridged, scaled brows. His silver hair was pulled back into a ponytail that hung halfway down his back, and his jaw was covered in stubble that shimmered in the light, causing his features to almost glow with an otherworldly beauty.

Rayne smirked, leaning forward, his sharp teeth shimmering and his bright, olive eyes glinting with hunger. When he spoke, his voice was coarse and husky.

“Hello, sweetie.”

The croc wasted no time, and hoisted the shark easily off his feet, carrying him over to the bed, one arm behind Jet’s back, the other behind his knees. Their mouths crashed together in rough, sloppy kisses as Rayne carried him, depositing him gently onto the mattress. The croc slid his jacket off, exposing more of his skin and scales, and smirked as he saw Jet beginning to get aroused, the evidence barely hidden by the shark’s boxers. Rayne dropped his trousers and threw his shirt off, looming above the smaller male.

“I see you left all of your toys out so we could play with them together,” the croc said, draping his hand across the table, sharp claws grazing each one.

Jet smirked, eyes narrowed, “I was always taught to share.”

Rayne chuckled and sat down on the edge of the bed, reaching up and caressing Jet through the front of his boxers for a second. The shark let out a soft groan and shivered as the croc slid his boxers down and off, leaving the smaller male completely nude, ready and waiting. His erection lay throbbing on his stomach, glistening with precum, and Rayne tittered as he crawled over, leaning his head forward, snout diving directly into Jet’s crotch.

An explosion of warmth and pleasure engulfed the shark as Rayne began suckling, working his snout up and down in long, slow strokes. His sharp teeth grazed Jet’s tender flesh and the shark hissed in desire and pain. The croc looked up at him, olive eyes burning as he lifted his snout away and then lowered it again. Jet squirmed and bit his lip, eyes shutting tight as he felt the reptile’s tongue lashing out at his asshole, slithering around and over his flesh, his balls resting on top of the croc’s nose. Rayne worked him over, his tongue rough and strong, slathering around saliva onto the tight mass of muscles, his eyes twinkling with amusement each time the shark’s legs jerked and twitched.

Lifting his mouth up and licking his lips, Rayne picked a few things off the table. One was a small vibrating ring which he slid down and around the base of Jet’s erection, and the other was a deep blue dildo, styled after a canine, with a large knot at the base. He slowly pressed it against Jet’s entrance, teasing him. The shark let out a pitiful whine that tapered off into a sharp groan as the croc began sliding it into him slowly, inch by delicious inch, until nearly all of it was buried deep within him. Jet whimpered and bit his lip as all of the sensations hit him at once.

His cock throbbed and ached as the ring buzzed against his flesh and the toy slid further into him. He could feel the knot pressing firmly against him, beckoning entry, begging to split him open and fling him off into nirvana. Rayne watched as he toyed with the shark, the front of his own boxers damp and sticky, and he slipped his free hand down and inside himself, working his fingers in and out slowly. His breath was rapid and labored, watching with delicious lust at the smaller male moaning and whimpering beneath him. The reptile slid the toy up to the knot against Jet’s asshole again, giving it a little wiggle and twist, leaving it there as he lifted his hand up. He raised Jet’s erection and let it fall with a wet smack, splattering precum onto his chest and crotch.

Jet’s head rolled from side to side, his toes curling in ecstasy as Rayne played with his body; not just the sensation of the vibrating ring around his cock driving him crazy, but even just the sound too; a wonderfully maddening droning that spread through his entire body; a simple audio of pleasure; his hips bucked forward as he desperately tried to fuck something, anything in that moment; begging for that feeling of resistance or friction against his cock with each pitiful moan.

Rayne smirked and slid the toy out of Jet and plunged it back in, causing the shark to arch his back, eyes flying open and a loud hissing gasp escaping from him. Jet ran his fingers through his hair, his other hand rubbing at his chest and stomach; loving and fucking hating the denial of something, anything, a hand, a mouth, just please anything to touch the aching and sensitive head of his cock.

The croc stood up and found a harness with a dildo strapped onto it and slid it up to his crotch, his slit glistening and hot with anticipation as he crawled forward on his knees between Jet’s legs. He slowly slid the toy out of the shark and lifted Jet’s legs, aiming his strap-on against Jet’s ass. Leaning forward and with a low growl, Rayne thrust into him, his hands on either side of Jet’s shoulders, keeping him there. He leaned forward and caught the shark’s whimpering mouth in a kiss, shoving his tongue past the smaller male’s teeth. Jet grabbed Rayne’s neck and shoulder, holding on for dear life as he suckled at the croc’s tongue; moaning into each kiss as Rayne fucked him harder now; faster; hips crashing into thighs.

“That feel good, baby?” Rayne whispered in Jet’s ear, his breath hot and wet against the shark’s flesh.

“…Oh my god,” Jet whined, his cheeks burning, eyes shut tight. “I…”

The croc smirked, running his tongue up Jet’s neck, arching his back a final time as he thrust once more, savagely; deep, and directly to the very hilt; his body thundering with a satiated growl. Jet erupted onto his stomach and chest, painting himself with globs of his seed; eyes turned upwards and mouth agape in a long, sustained cry of ecstasy.

Rayne shuddered softly as he slowly lifted his hips, sliding the toy from inside Jet. He dropped the strap-on down his legs and tossed it back onto the table. He stood there, looming over the shark and smirking. He crawled forward again on top of Jet, tongue running upwards from the base of his cock, licking up the shark’s seed, leaving kisses along his belly and torso. Jet looked at him through half-lidded eyes, his chest heaving with each labored breath and wrapped his arms around Rayne’s neck as their lips met in another kiss, tongues wrestling with one another, covered in the shark’s spent cum.

Later, after Rayne had left, Jet wiped himself down with the moist washcloths he brought and deposited the used toys into a bag for sanitization.

However, you’re coming with me, you little bastard, he thought as he slipped the vibrating ring into his pocket. I think I deserve a little souvenir.

He finished dressing himself and cast one more glance at the Amethyst Suite, bidding it a silent, bittersweet farewell until next time. He retrieved his duffel bag from his locker and then headed out into the main hall, legs still wobbly and mind still foggy in his afterglow. As he walked along, blinking slowly, wondering what he should do now, his eyes caught a flash of yellow and silver. His body went rigid and his shoulder suddenly started throbbing when he saw Asher sitting at his usual table in the corner.
