#1 of Where The Wind Takes Him

First of all I would like to say, if you are looking for only smut, this story is not for you. The prologue I wrote is, but I don't plan on filling in the blanks with smut because that is way to easy. I will include it in here though but not excessively.

IF... the previous statement didn't drive you away, [>_>] I would suggest you read my other story - Going Nowhere to get a better understanding of this story because it is a prologue. The reason it is not part of the series is because it is completely written in 1st person and these stories are not. :0

Ok so this series of stories will always start with somewhat first person collaboration of Nasume's thoughts and then proceed into third person of the story and then end with a first person collaboration of Nasume's thoughts as well. The shifts in POV are separated by a stream of 8's while the shifts of setting are separated by a stream of 0's.

I'm also trying to go for more of the adventurous/fantasy story so some of the stuff I'm going to write is going to stray away from the whole initial attraction. If you want to, you can skim through for the smut but I plead you to read the whole story because smut with a background is so much better -_-

Ok enough of my bitching, on with the show. ^^

The human mind is designed to think logically. It takes trauma, experience or something of the same intensity for the human mind to learn another pattern of thinking to switch to when logic is no longer dependable. Of course one can think, how can such a situation occur? One where you can't depend on logic, it seems almost incomprehensible until it happens. We build our logical thinking on a set of unbreakable rules and variables, but when we are thrown into a situation where the rules are changed along with everything else... the mind basically says "Fuck it" and drops this pattern of thinking for a short amount of time while going into a state much like a young child or perhaps an infant; the learning state.

My mind? It gave up on logic the first night I had with the dragon.

Nasume stirred awake in the dragon's arms. He had been awake, watching the young human for some time. Nasume looked up into the dragon's eyes. It was still raining outside. There was still thunder that boomed furiously. It didn't scare Nasume though, he felt somewhat safe with the creature that was caressing him. The dragon gave a low chuckle causing Nasume to give him a confused look. "I haven't even told you my name have I?" He said in an affectionate manner gazing at Nasume. The boy smiled in perhaps the first time since he appeared in this world. "I suppose you haven't..." He responded shyly. The dragon lifted Nasume up and shifted so that he was lying on his back. He set Nasume down onto his huge chest. Nasume still clutched the sheets around his body as the dragon stroked his hair lovingly. "My name is Amanthos Draciente. One of the seven children of Vahtrenos Draciente."

Nasume simply smiled and lay down on the dragon's chest and allowed him self to be manipulated, cuddled, played with. He very well heard of the Draciente bloodline. Vahtrenos was currently the draconic emperor of a large region on Alimos, Viantre. The region was known for its provision of rights to every race including humans. It ran itself well; it had a bustling economy, a large population and was known for several new developments in fashion and technology. The Draciente bloodline held reign over it for fifteen thousand years. Not only was Nasume in the hands of a captain, he was in the hands of royalty. Those hands were currently caressing him like something precious and fragile. Nasume felt even safer at the mention of his name. He briefly thought about how he could use this knowledge to hi advantage but then he quickly dismissed it. Mentally cursing himself for being so shallow.

Little did he know, Amanthos had been reading his thoughts the whole time. And with every thought read, he loved the human more and more. Amanthos really had not a clue on how he got into this first. He knew it was a precipitate choice to take the stowaway in and clean him. He knew it was a precipitate choice to make love to him. Perhaps what primarily drew him to the human though were his tears. It was a little known fact that tears of a human acted as somewhat of a drug to anthropomorphic creatures. It didn't work if they were from pain though; they had to come from emotion. With each emotion came a different effect. In that sense, perhaps it was simply the effect of the tear that inspired Amanthos's affection for Nasume. Then again, it would have cleared by now and Amanthos still had immense affection for the human. It perplexed the dragon though because he didn't know why he loved this stranger he had found. All he knew is that he just did.

The great dragon was jerked from his thoughts as he felt Nasumes head nudge the palm of his clawed hand. He had absentmindedly been stroking the human's hair and his circular motions with his claw seemed to lull the boy into a light stupor. His eyes were half closed and staring off into nowhere. "Let's get you come clothes." Said Amanthos.

The only clothes Amanthos could manage to find for Nasume were some clothes meant to fit a fox. Despite the average slim frame of a fox, and the average low height, fox still were generally bulkier and taller than humans. The human that was to wear them was even scrawnier and a bit shorter than the average human. Thus, Nasume wore gray pants that were baggy on him and draped to the floor bunching up at the bottom and he wore a long-sleeve gray shirt that was as baggy and hung down to his knees. The sleeves were about seven inches longer than his arms. The only thing that fit was the pair of boxers because it had drawstrings.

Despite the human's clothes obviously not fitting, it made him look cute to Amanthos. Nasume's cuteness was magnified when he kept stumbling and tripping over his clothes. After several feet of this the dragon scooped the human up in his arms grinning. Nasume simply gave him a sad confused look, a look that seemed to come default with Nasume. In response, Amanthos starting flitting at the boy's face with his forked tongue causing his eye and nose to twitch. Eventually Nasume burst out in a giggle and then quickly caught himself and buried his face into the dragon's chest. Amanthos rumbled and buried his snout into the form he was cradling.

The dragon walked to the mess hall cradling Nasume. When they entered the hall a husky looking raccoon came up to them. "Amanthos, Sir!" He began with a salute. "I've gotten news from Abathia, we have four contracts waiting for us. One of them is type B standard another is type B covert and the other two are type A standard."

Amanthos nodded. "I see, well organize the necessary parties for both B contracts I'll see to the type A's."

The raccoon caught sight of Nasume. "Who is that Captain?"

"Ah, this little human is Nasume. He was a stowaway I found in the cargo hold."

"Um...if I may ask. Why are you cradling him instead of throwing him into the brig?"

"Well look at him." Amanthos set a frightened Nasume down to stand on the floor. His head went up to just above Amanthos's knees. He stood in front of the raccoon who was a fair three our four feet taller. He looked awkward, his long brown hair covered most of his pale face, and he stood with his toes together both of his arms in front. His right arm was hanging down limply with its forearm loosely gripped by his left hand. He lightly blushed as the raccoon examined him.

"Wow Amanthos, he's quite a find."

"Paws off Dahvien," Came a playful grow from behind Nasume causing him to flinch. "he's mine." Two huge arms wrapped around Nasume from behind and then gently lifted him up into a cradling position.

The raccoon chuckled. "Aye aye captain!" he said and then strolled off.

Amanthos nuzzled Nasume affectionately. "Yes... you are quite the find." He half-hissed, half-whispered into the teenager's ear. Nasume gave the dragon a dreamy gaze and his hazel eyes sparkled yet his lips weren't in a smile. Amanthos had never heard of a dragon being enchanted by a mere human. It was happening though; he could feel himself become closer to the boy aside from physical attraction. Unlike many other beings, dragons were conscious of their emotions, but like all beings they weren't able to control them.

Amanthos sat down still gazing into Nasume, bringing his pale face closer. His tongue slithered out and tasted the air above the boy' lips. He asked for Nasume's kiss this time by poking his lips with his tongue. Nasume slowly parted them and let the eager tongue slide in. The taste of the boy's kiss was sweet, but when it was given to the dragon with consent it was utterly blissful. There they were, Amanthos sitting on a bench near the hall entry cradling Nasume in his arms, his tail for some reason curled around Nasume's neck but in a gentle manner. His wings were stretching and contracting, it was something he did when he felt aroused or amorous.

The dragon wandered into thought as his tongue lashed in the mouth and partially the throat of Nasume. For two hundred years a mere one fortieth of an unaltered dragon's average lifespan he had lived. In history and in his studies he had concluded that humans were really of no use to society. Yet that was a simple generalization and a part of him at that time knew it. The preciousness of a human had never really been explained or revealed to anybody really. Thus it was assumed that there was no quality of a human that was positive except for slavery. Amanthos was just beginning to discover how precious a human could be though; he had never felt this way before. He had never felt actual love, he had felt lust of course but that was chemical.

He slowly drew his tongue out of Nasume leaving him breathing heavily from the intense moment. He nuzzled the humans narrow chest purring. The sweet moment was interrupted by a growl from Nasume's stomach. At this, the dragon immediately looked at Nasume's expression. He couldn't miss his face after that, he was indeed mortified and blushing slightly, obviously wishing he would have just disappeared on the spot. Amanthos chuckled "You haven't eaten in a long time, let's get you fed before you starve to death." At that, he proceeded to the mess hall with Nasume in his arms.

Again the great dragon began to ponder. Perhaps humans did have a role elevating them equal to anthros or maybe it was just an unexplained quality...if in fact that certain "quality" was to be explained at all....

So what was I?... a pet? A doll? A sex toy?! I was furious at the whole situation... well I tried to be...

... so maybe I wasn't furious... but I still couldn't stand the thought of falling for this... I was practically raped by a dragon and then I would fall in love? How absurd! Yet... the more I thought about it I convinced myself it was all I wanted. I was actually falling for this bullshit... I didn't want to but it felt good. I knew I was at his mercy... he caught me he could have done anything to me. Yet... he didn't so much rape me as he made love to me. He could have done anything he wanted... if he wanted sexual pleasure he could have done unspeakable things to me, he could have made me scream in pain he could have drawn blood. Yet he didn't...he was gentle.

I had to admit... I was falling for him and at the time I knew it. Why? - because whenever he looked at me with those soul piercing glowing eyes of amber, my heart went mad not out of dread, but of anticipation. When he kissed me, he had the courtesy this time to ask for my kiss instead of drilling into my mouth roughly. I didn't refuse this time either because I wanted it. In fact I practically sucked his tongue in eager to taste it.

My mind was in turmoil... I felt so pathetic, so dependent like a pet of some sort. I had even been displayed to one of his friends like some rare creature or a cute animal... and I liked it. For that reason, I began to hate myself and at the same time, I began to love him....
