[I will try to alternate between an update a week writing and a week of drawing the series. If that hasn't been said, then my comics and other main works will be at my website along with anything I feature here. The whole entire issue will be that can only happen when I finish coding the website. Surely its coming and that is a promise unlike me possibly doing this every other week. Until 2 weeks are up this will be my submission for now though.]

During the evening, things started to get better for Syrus, cooling down a bit. The light of the moon shining between the curtains and onto his light brown skin as he rested. The parents were both wrapped up in checking up as well as doing their usual activities. Wolfe smiles as he sits in the livingroom alone. It wasn't even a full day that his son was out of commission he expressed his discontent, "Man, that boy sure is stubborn." as he flicked through the stations for something to watch.

For him his robe was regular attire, like he had completed enough work to be retired indefinitely. A shadow rested on his shoulder, dainty lips play on his ears as his pale skinned beauty said with her middle aged voice, "You didn't forget our plans to watch Deliverance 3 together right?" Wolfe hated that movie watching one guy take out a whole syndicate and using a car to do anything. He swore that guy was more like secret squirrel rather than a human being sometimes.

As he reluctantly answered, "Well you see abou~" one of the windows shattered. The responsibility to check on it obviously fell on him, "Probably some roudy teenagers, I'll check it out." They always would try toget away, as he swiftly moved outside he would catch their figures and usually report them to their parents. It wasn't the first time someone could through jealousy break a window.

Luna, Wolfe's wife became a little uneasy. Thirty minutes had passed by and Wolfe was a no show. "Hon is everything alright?" she would call out to no avail. Her nighttime dress was the green of the forest, her hair was long and red like her sons, and her figure moved with grace, to the door, to peer outside and see if she could find him.

She didn't lock the door, her husband was a war hero, even unarmed he could return from a fight with the odds stacked against him. She wasn't really competitant with weaponry and magic required her to see her target. "Hon are you alright?" Everything for the next 5 minutes startled her as she was on guard. Despite this she wasn't prepared for the surprise in store.

Syrus's eyes fling open as he hears the cry of his mother, "Help! Syrus call the pol~" and silence fell in his dark room. His head hurt, but nonetheless he had to do something, he jumped to his feet and reached for the nearest phone in the hallway upstairs. Hmph as if he would let this person get away with coming to his house, he thought to himself leaving the phone, the cops would take 40 minutes to an hour either way so they would have plenty of time to trace the call if they didn't have something like caller ID.

His body was uneasy, filled with anxiety and still recovering from the fever he had earlier. Once he had made his way downstairs he noted that the jerk that came in broke his door down. Instinctively he grabbed his weapon of choice from the weapons closet at the bottom of the stairs. He thought to himself as he saw the shifting shadows in the room and heard a gurgle and growl that, "Whoever is in there is no match for me with this katana..."

Gritting his teeth, he flings open the curtain, his immediate jump to action was stifled by what he saw next. The throat of his mother mauled open by the maw of a large wolf her blood splayed over her green dress. By the time he had gotten a hold of himself the canine speared into his stomach the force knocked the wind out of him, but he wasn't going to let the rage now welling up in him go unheard.

As the beast leaps towards him the katana is drawn and slashes the face of the creature as he also get back to his feet. For some reason it didn't occur to him that rolling away sure was a better idea. A mid air beast 4 times the size of him, was still flying his way not longer attacking in the way it planned of course. His body couldn't bare that kind of weight and not budge, so he found himself in flight, his hands guard his head the best he can as he flies into the window behind him.

With a shatter his whole body flew out of the house, the force was enough for him to skid across the ground of the law and against a tree. The beast remained inside the house, enough of his force transfered into him, but Syrus could hear the thud of the creature inside. He took a breath as his body began to shake in fear. He whispered to himself, "What the hell is that?" he had fought wolves before, he had fought anthro wolves before... this was a new story, many times stronger than both.

Suspicions of this being a creature he never saw before was confirmed as the beast jumps out into the moonlight. The feral looking beast stood on two legs and now growled to him, "Your blood will be worth consuming..." as it prepares another leap towards him. Why did the wolf think this would work when it was thwarted before, albeit a little flawed. Syrus moves forward just enough and rolls his body back to put in the maximum force he can into a kick with both legs. A solid kick that would put kids his size into the hospital, sends this creature into the tree he was under, he this time rolls to the side of.

The boy pulls out the scabbard and the sword and prepared to do combat. Lumbering mass of fur gets the idea putting up his paws prepared to utilize another style of combat. What little Syrus could do when a quick boxing style met with the power this creature put behind it. Light jabs were light full blows landing on his chest and face breaking the scabbard that he defended with.

Still the boy persisted, if he was going to get hit then he would stab the monster in the stomach. Chuckling the monster moved nearer with the blade clearly pushing further into his stomach, his claws began to swipe at the boy, leaving gashes wherever they lie, one across his left eye other's across his body. It was if the beast was taking pleasure out of the cries of pain that every now and then came from the boy, but it was obviously it wasn't going to kill him, especially with the sound of an incoming squadron of cars and ambulances.

Just like that the monster would dash off, "I marked you, my prey till we meet next time." he growled. The boy with that really wasn't going to move, with pain like he never felt before over his bodyand with his breathing picking up as the adrenaline slowly wore off, he had nothing to say. Today was a rotten day, he had no clue where his Dad went and his mother was dead simple as that.

As he breathes in heavily without any other sound, his eyes would begin to water. The cops surveyed the scene and the paramedicstook him into a care unit as his eyes began to well up with tears. For a few moments before he was moved the salty droplets would get into his cuts, the resulting pain letting him know that this was all real, no mistaking it.

Even as a doberman cop got into the ambulance with the world just seemed to be blurred to him, without his parents how would he make it in the world? Where was his father Wolfe? What the hell was that creature? So many questions dredged themselves up as his dirty palms caught the tears from his eyes. As they drove to the hospital the doberman lightly patted his head as he finally managed to sob.
