Chapter 5: The False Preacher

"Set them down, soldiers." Kerbey and I were bound and gagged in front of this priest. Deemona was next to us. Struggling to get out of the restraints that bound hir. The priest approached us all and removed our gags.

The priest walked around for a moment or two.

"Do you boys realize the grave danger that your actions have put your souls in?" the priest stated.

"Homosexuality is an evil sin against the lord that defiles the body and the spirit." spoke the priest.

"I do not believe in your God." I said to him.

He shook his head. "Homosexuality is an abomination punishable by death. You may be saved however, if you agree to attend restorative therapy, to make you straight."

"No way in hell!" I screamed at him.

"I am proud of who I am, and if your god can't accept that then fuck him!" I screamed.

He walked back and forth.

"What about your... boyfriend here?" the priest went up to Kerbey.

Kerbey moved back.

"What's wrong, boy?" he asked Kerbey.

"Please, don't touch me." Kerbey asked the priest.

The priest persisted though.

"Come on, tell me. What is your problem, you little fag?" he said to Kerbey.

"You shut the fuck up now!" I screamed at him.

Kerbey was in tears.

"I SAID LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE YOU CHILD MOLESTER!" screamed Kerbey.

I was shocked. This is something I have never known about Kerbey.

"So be it... gaurds!" the priest screamed.

"Take these fags to their cells." screamed the priest. We were dragged off by our arms. As we were being taken to our cells I looked at the priest... who was a wolf. Suddenly his head turned into that of a dragon's. He then looked like my brother... Felix. I then realize how much trouble I was really in. He looked at me and winked.

"DAMN YOU FELIX! I WILL KILL YOU ONE OF THESE DAYS I SWEAR!" I screamed in vain.

"Shutup fag!" the soldiers clubbed me over the head. We were thrown into dimly lit cells, both of us. Next to us in the cell over was Deemona. Shi was sitting against the prison wall.

"Deemona!" I screamed.

"Nosmo, is that you?" shi asked.

"Yes, are you ok?" I asked hir.

"Yes, I am ok... somewhat."

I then turned my attention to Kerbey.

"Your priest... Kerbey. What did he do to you?" I asked him.

"He molested me... and my sisters and brothers. He molested all of us. I never told anyone. We didn't. It is something we swore to take to our graves." he then grasped his knees and started crying. I hugged him.

"It will be ok... I am here for you."

3 days went by... with no food, no water. We were both weakened. We hadn't got any sleep. Deemona was sick. Shi was hacking up blood. Kerbey and I were simply weak and had no energy.

"Deemona... are you... ok..." I asked hir.

"I don't know... but if I die... and you see him... tell him, I love him. Do this for me. Please. Here is his picture." shi handed me his picture.

"This is my last request... if I die..."

4 more days went by. We had little water and practically no food. Kerbey and I were both starving. Deemona was getting worse. Day by day. Her spots of blood soon became puddles. Shi was vomiting blood violently. We suddenly heard footsteps. Then he grabbed the weakened dryeena by hir neck.

"You are accused of the treacherous sin of fornication... how do you plead?" the guard asked.

"Not guilty."

The guard then smacked hir in the head.

They were gathered around two nooses. The guard then threw us to the ground. The executioners grabbed us and tied the ropes around our necks. I had never been this scared in my life. Before us was the priest. He walked up with his bible in hand. The crowd was jeering and calling us names, and were throwing things at us. Many of them were screaming "Fags!" and such. The priest raised his hands in the air. Everyone is silent.

"You both are here... because you have been found guilty of the disgusting sin of homosexuality... what are your pleas?"

"Sir... we don't even live here!" screamed Kerbey. The guard slapped his face.

"FELIX!" I screamed at the priest. The priest's jaw dropped.

"Listen everyone to me please! This man is no priest! He is tricking you all!" The priest then dropped his bible.

"Blasphemy! Kill them now!" the executioners were getting ready to drop us.

"No! Please, everyone just listen to me!" I screamed.

They stopped again.

"This man is a false teacher! A wolf in sheep's clothing! Listen for one moment, please! What kind of priest would call death upon people like this? For committing the sin of love? When did love become a sin?" I asked everyone. Nobody said a word.

"Homosexuality is forbidden in the bible..." said the priest.

"So what... lets say it is. Who are you to kill people? For that? WHAT place is it for you to judge?" I screamed at him. "And anyways... one more thing..." I said. "The bible says to love thy neighbor." everyone grew silent.

"Kill them! NOW I COMMAND YOU!" then out of nowhere a draconian flew out of the sky. He rammed into the priest. As the guards headed towards him he knocked them out of the way. He came over to us and freed us. Kerbey and I were now free from the nooses.

"Lets get out of here, NOW!" screamed Kerbey.

"Not yet..." I said. I walked over towards the priest.

"Felix... I know it is you... show yourself..." I taunted him.

He just stood there.

"Felicio... quit the lies." the priests jaw dropped. All of the sudden the skies went dark. The clouds were red. A bright flash was were the priest was. An explosion. And then as I knew, there was Felix.

Felix was enraged.

"I had everything planned out perfectly! I had these dumb morons under my control but you RUINED IT ALL!" Felix screamed at me.

"Oh yeah... well you ruined my entire life. Consider it a payback."

"He lied to us?" a random voice said.

"Yes he did... he tried controlling you through religion... he turned what is sacred into something evil."

"He promised us eternal salvation." they said.

"He lied... he wanted to get control over you so he could take over more towns! And then cities! And then countries! And then the entire world!"

The crowd was clearly angry. They were marching towards him. Even the guards were.

"It's time to leave Felix... now... you have caused enough damage in the last town you destroyed! They wouldn't listen to you so you cursed them! LIKE YOU WERE GOING TO CURSE THIS TOWN TOO, YOU MORALLY BANKRUPT, LIENG, CONNIVING, BACKSTABBING, MURDERER!!!" I screamed at him. The draconian that saved us came up to me.

"This is your brother?" he asked me.

"Unfortunately... he killed my family..."

As I turned around though Felix was suddenly gone. I looked up to the skies and he was nowhere to be found.

"DAMN IT! I HATE HIM SO MUCH!" I screamed.

Kerbey and the Draconian came up to me. Everyone was silent.

"He's gone..." they said to me.

"But he is still out there... he is going to hurt more innocents and he will never stop!" I screamed. I then suddenly looked at the draconian. I pulled out the picture.

"Deemona's fiancee?" I asked him. His jaw dropped.

"How did... you... know?" he asked me. "Who are you?" he asked.

I handed him the picture. "Deemona gave this to me... before she died. She wanted me to tell you that shi loved you."

He took the picture and held it tight. Tears ran down his face. I walked over to him.

"Will you... be alright?" I asked.

"I will never be alright... shi was the love of my life... and shi was pregnant with our children."

Everything was silent for awhile. Then one person started to clap their hands. Soon everyone started to clap their hands. Everyone was cheering for us. Even the guards were.

"By the way, what is your name?" I asked the Draconian.

"Darren." he responded.

Kerbey, Darren, and I walked off. We walked about 5 miles out of town. He continued holding the picture.

"I loved hir... with all my heart... but I was kidnaped. I managed to escape though. And I searched months for hir and never found hir. I thought shi was dead... but I still wanted at least some news of her. But now... I know..." he bowed his head.

I put my hand over his shoulder. "I know how it feels man... I know all to well... just be strong. There are a bunch of people back there who need a good leader right now. You saved our lives and we are indebted to you... but... you need to help yourself now." I told him.

He nodded his head. He then took the picture and lit it on fire. He dropped the picture on the ground. He then took two sticks and made a makeshift cross and buried the picture in the ground. He turned his head back towards the town.

"Go... they need you." I told him. We both gave him a hug. He flew into the sky towards to village. Kerbey and I collapsed to the ground and snuggled with each other for the night. We had sex with each other. This time I let him fuck me. He did a good job for not usually topping. It felt quite good. The next morning we woke up. There was an envelope on my chest. I opened it.

"Dear Nosmo and Kerbey:

Thank you...

• Deemona"

I read the note to Kerbey.

"But... shi is dead." he said.

"I know..." I said. "I know."

Kerbey and I got up off the ground. We held each other's hands and walked off towards the desert that lied before us.

_ Conclusion: I know, not my best chapter. I am not to pleased with it myself but I have been in a writer's slump. The next chapter will be better, I promise. It will take place in a desert but I am open to suggestions. Thanks for continuing to read my series, and I apologize for the long delays. _
