EVIL DOESN'T DIE BOOK ONE CHAPTER SIX.
I finished the last chapter with Ariel and Eric killing a chupacabra that was starting to attack humans. Oh, and as you well soon notice, this chapter takes place sometime after the events of chapter five. As you can obviously see, I ain't in the mood to add anything witty here like I usually do, so, since I'm really not in the mood to waste time, I'll start this chapter right now. And thanks to Nex-Canis for editing this chapter.
Who you gonna call?
Not Ghostbusters.
Location: The White House. Washington, D.C. Time: 11:39 p.m. Date: August 3rd, 3028.
Whistling could be heard inside a hallway in the White House as a member of the secret service walked around, checking the area for safety reasons. As the agent, an old wolf, walked passed the Oval office, he noticed something move. Stopping mid-step, the agent turned around, and walked back to the office. Entering the office, and closing the door behind him, the wolf looked around the office, looking for something unusual. Hmm. I thought I saw someone moving around in here. Narrowing his eyes, the wolf walked over to the President's desk, and checked underneath it. Seeing nothing there, he righted himself, and walked over to a full length mirror that had been placed behind the desk. Checking himself out, the wolf straightened out his suit, and took off his shades. As soon as the shades were off, the wolf saw a figure standing behind him in the mirror. The figure looked exactly like Abraham Lincoln. Startled, the wolf reached into his pockets, fumbling for his gun. Before he could even turn around and bring his gun out, the agent felt the deceased 16th President of the United States wrap his right arm around his neck and squeeze. The wolf let out a strangled yelp, and started struggling. Just as he was about to pass out, the wolf noticed Lincoln smile evilly at him. A second later, the wolf passed out. Another second later, a loud crunch could be heard as Lincoln broke all the bones in the wolf's neck. The wolf's lifeless body slumped to the floor as Lincoln let go of him. Lincoln glanced down at the body, then looked at the mirror in front of him as he slowly faded from sight.

Ariel was running out of breath as he ran up the stairs. Still panting, Ariel looked over his shoulder, and confirmed his worst fear. The vampires were still following him. Cursing under his breath, Ariel kept running up the stairs. After passing another three flights, he was forced to have to exit out of the stairwell, and onto the roof. Son of a bitch! Now what?! Shaking his head, Ariel ran out onto the roof, and over to the ledge closest to him. Once he reached the ledge, he looked down, and was relieved to see that the ground below was a part of an alley. Smirking, Ariel turned around to face the vampires who were chasing him. There were three in total, and they were all grinning at him. The lead vampire, a blonde girl, stepped forward, laughing. "Well Ariel, what can you do now? You're cornered." Said the blonde. Ariel glared at the blonde, the smirk never leaving his face. "I'm cornered, bitch?" The blonde nodded, "well of course. Look at where we are. And I'd appreciate it if you don't call me bitch." Ariel raised his hands apologetically, and took a small step backwards. "I'm sorry bitch. Oh, and you're wrong. I'm not cornered." As he spoke, Ariel started walking parallel to the ledge. The blonde and her vampire muscle regarded Ariel with caution, making sure he didn't make any sudden moves.
As he passed by a part of the ledge that had a pipe hammered into, Ariel stuck his left hand on the ledge, then kept on walking. "What's your name blonde bitch?" asked Ariel. The blonde let out a small growl at the insult, then gave Ariel what he wanted. "My name is Tracy. Why would a soon to be dead kid care about knowing my name?" Ariel let a small laugh escape from his lips. "Tracy, I wanna ask you something." Narrowing her eyes, Tracy signaled for Ariel to ask his question. "Did you know that in the 20th century, a man survived a fall from 33,000 feet, without any head trauma?" Confused, Tracy turned to her henchmen to ask them what they thought, when they realized what Ariel was going to do. The henchmen jumped towards Ariel, but by that point, it was already too late. "Later fuckers!" shouted Ariel as he threw himself off the roof. Tracy and her henchmen raced to the ledge, watching Ariel fall. As they watched, none of them heard a small beeping noise coming from the pipe Ariel had stopped by. Ariel smiled as he felt the wind whip his hair across his face, enjoying the famous feeling of time seemingly stopping. _33,000 feet, and the guy survived. Luckily for me, this was only an 18 story building. _As he fell, Ariel twisted his body around to see just how far he was from the ground. His eyes widened as he saw that he was only about fifty feet away from impact. Cursing himself out, Ariel put his hands on the back of his head, closed his eyes and braced himself for impact. _This is gonna really fuck up my back._A second after that thought passed through his mind, Ariel hit the ground. Hard. All the breath went out of him as his body finally stopped moving. The impact broke his back, and both his legs. Opening his eyes, Ariel looked up, and could just barely make out the astonished face of Tracy. As blood dribbled out of his mouth, Ariel raised his hands, and signaled for Eric to step out of the shadows.
The lion, who was relieved, and surprised to see that Ariel was still alive, walked over to the boy's broken body, and knelt down by his head. With blood still dripping from his mouth, Ariel told Eric to detonate the bomb. The lion nodded. Reaching into a pocket, Eric took out a remote, and pressed the only button on it. Up above, a small explosion filled the night sky. Tracy and her henchmen were incinerated and dead before the shockwave hit them. Smiling, Eric turned back to check on Ariel, but was surprised to find the human standing with a smile on his face. "Well Eric, what you waiting for? We have to get to D.C." Eric looked at Ariel, and nodded head.

Ariel dropped his bags on his bed, letting out a small sigh. Eric entered the room behind him, and dropped his bags on the bed next to Ariel's. "So Ariel, why we here for?" Raising both his eyebrows, Ariel took out his tablet computer, and started reading what was on the screen, "the ghost of Abraham Lincoln has been haunting the White House for almost two thousand years. According to my tablet, it was two nights ago that his ghost finally killed someone. A secret service agent." Once he finished reading, Ariel lifted his head and glanced at Eric, just to find the lion snoring. Yeah. That's what you wanna do. Fall asleep in front of a person who will play pranks on you. Shaking his head and smiling, Ariel walked over to Eric, and took off the lion's sneakers and socks. Ariel's nose wrinkled as the smell of Eric's footpaws wafted towards him. We're inside a car most of the day. How the hell can this lion's feet stink so badly. Shaking his head, Ariel looked down at the sneakers he had in his hands, and thought about what he was going to do with them. After a second of thinking, Ariel got an idea._ I must've gotten high off the odor of this lion's feet, because I just got a great idea. _As quietly as he could, Ariel walked over to the lion's muzzle, and covered it with said lion's sneaker. Smiling, Ariel walked away from the lion, and to his own bed. Looking at the time and seeing that it was well past 5 in the morning, Ariel took his shades out of his pocket, slipped them on, and laid down on his bed. A few seconds later, he was fast asleep.

"...yeah, I'll be there. You just have the money ready." said a voice in an empty hallway. The owner of the voice, a twenty odd human secret service agent, pressed a button on his earpiece, ending his phone call. Smiling, the human, whose name was Jason, walked down the hallway. As he was walking, he passed by Lincoln's bedroom. Looking down at his watch, and noticing the time, Jason walked back to Lincoln's bedroom, and stepped inside. I'm tired. This room has the most comfortable bed in the entire House. Not that hard to do the math, _thought Jason as he walked over to Lincoln's bed. Taking off his suit and shoes, Jason slipped under the covers, and was soon snoring peacefully. As the man was snoring, Lincoln's ghost materialized out of nowhere, in front of his former bed. Not saying a word, the ghost walked over to his bed, and lifted the blankets off of Jason. The human stirred as he felt a draft pass over him, so he reached for the blanket. When he couldn't reach it, Jason opened his eyes and sat up, to find himself face to face with the smiling face of Lincoln's ghost. Jason's eyes widened, and his mouth opened up to an 'o' shape. Before he could even scream, the ghost lunged its right arm forward, _sticking it straight into the man's chest. Jason let out a hiss as he felt the ghost squeeze his heart, then let out a loud scream as the ghost slowly started pulling it's arm back.
Jason's heart started beating rapidly as Lincoln slowly pulled his arm out of Jason's chest. The ghost kept pulling back, until only his wrist and hand were inside Jason's chest. Jason looked down at his chest, his brain still trying to comprehend what was going on. He then looked up at Lincoln's face, and his face went pale at the sight of the evil smile etched across the ghost's face. With one final heave, Lincoln's ghost took his entire hand out of Jason's chest, and took out the man's heart at the same time. Jason let out a strangled gasp as he felt his heart ripped out of him. The man looked down at the gaping hole in his chest, then back at Lincoln. A minute later, Jason slumped over, dead at exactly 6:19 a.m.

Ariel let out a small groan as he sat up in his bed, a sharp pain shooting up his back. That fall I took was definitely a stupid idea. _Wincing, Ariel got out of his bed, and headed over to the bathroom. Taking off his clothes until he was completely naked, Ariel turned on the hot water full blast, then stepped into the tub. Meanwhile, back in the bedroom, Eric was waking up from his sleep, when he noticed a strange smell. _What the fuck is that smell? Not thinking much of it, Eric opened his eyes, and was greeted with the front end of his sneaker hitting him on the forehead. _Only one person would do this. And I'm gonna get him back for it, _thought Eric as he took the sneaker off his face. Looking down at his bare footpaws, Eric let out a small growl. The lion got out of his bed, and headed over to the bedside table. On it, he noticed that Ariel had placed his shades there. A lightbulb lit up over his head. Eric grabbed the shades, popped out the lens, and put said lens into a side pocket of his bag. His tail moving around lazily behind him, Eric set the shades back down, and waited for Ariel to come back into the room.
The lion didn't have to wait long. Ten minutes later, Ariel exited the bathroom, wearing nothing but a towel around his waist, and walked straight to the bedside table. The sight of Ariel's wet body stirred Eric's sheath. Oh this ain't good. _As Ariel bent down slightly to pick up his shades, Eric's sheath started throbbing. Unaware of Eric's problem, and not noticing anything wrong with his shades, Ariel slipped them on, and told Eric to go take his shower. _Hold up, he ain't notice that his shades have no lenses?_Perplexed, the lion didn't say anything. He just took out a clean set of clothing from his bag, and entered the bathroom. As soon as Ariel was sure the lion had entered the bathroom, he took off his shades, and walked over to Eric's bag. Shaking his head and clicking his tongue, Ariel started searching around Eric's bag for the lens. It only took him three minutes to find them, and he was soon popping them back into his shades. _Silly lion. I'm the Prank King, no one can pull one over on me. Chuckling, Ariel took out a pair of black jeans, a black t-shirt, a pair of black boxers, a pair of black fingerless gloves, and his favorite trench coat from his bag. As he put on his clothes, Ariel couldn't help but think about how he was going to get into the White House. I may work for NCIS, and the F.H.B.I, but how am I gonna manage to get Eric and I into the White House? Biting his lips as he slipped on his trench coat, Ariel walked barefoot over to his bed, and took a seat, trying to come up with something.
A half hour later, Eric walked out of the bathroom to find Ariel busy typing away on the tablet computer. As he got dressed, Eric asked Ariel what he was doing. Instead of answering, Ariel held up a finger, signaling the lion to be quiet. Raising his eyebrows, Eric walked over, and stood behind Ariel. Glancing over the boy's shoulder, Eric could just make out a picture of an identification badge, and the words Secret Service. Okay...looks like Ariel is going to get us jobs with the Secret Service. Rubbing his muzzle, Eric stepped away from Ariel, letting the boy go about his business. A minute later, Ariel turned off his tablet, put on his socks and shoes, then told Eric to grab their bags. Without any protests, Eric did as he was told, and followed Ariel as he walked out the hotel room. Ariel walked over to his car and opened up the trunk. He waited for Eric to toss their bags in, then closed the trunk, and walked over to the driver's side door. Before getting in, Ariel looked over his car, and glanced over at Eric. "Eric, I need you to listen very carefully. We're going to visit the White House today. While inside, you're going to pull a fire alarm. Before you ask, the President is not in the there. Anyways, once you pull the alarm, you head outside. I'll stay inside, and destroy Lincoln's ghost. Are we clear on the plan?" asked Ariel once he finished telling Eric his plan. Eric nodded his head, committing the plan to memory. Satisfied, Ariel climbed into his car, with Eric following suit. A minute later, they were soon on their way to the White House.
Location: The White House. Time: Five hours after Ariel and Eric left their hotel.
"Ariel, I'm by a fire alarm. When do you want me to pull the switch?" asked Eric as he pressed an earpiece a little deeper into his rounded ear. Ariel, who was inside of Lincoln's bedroom , pretended to scratch his ear, and then spoke. "Make sure no one's watching, because you're going to pull that alarm in five...four...three...two...one, now." As Ariel was in the process of closing his mouth, he heard a loud siren start ringing in the room he was in. Wincing at the noise, Ariel looked around his surroundings, checking to see if any of the guards, or the visiting furs and humans were looking in his direction. Once he was satisfied that they weren't, Ariel walked over to a closet and hid inside. As he waited for the all clear from Eric, Ariel took out a plastic ballistic knife, and sprinkled some salt water on the blade. Once he was finished, he took out a small leather bound book, and a flask full of salt. _Man, I really hope this ritual works. If it doesn't, then I'm fucking screwed, _thought Ariel as he took out his supplies. Once he was finished, Ariel leaned back, and let out a tired sigh. As he look at his watch, Ariel couldn't help but think back to the question that Eric had asked him a month ago. _Why would Eric care if I'm gay or not? I've only know him for about two months, so it's not like I can be his boyfriend, even if I was gay._Before he could continue his thoughts, Ariel heard static coming from his earpiece. Pressing the piece deeper into his ear, Ariel asked, "Eric, I ain't hear that. Can you say again?" A moment later, Ariel heard the lion's gruff voice over his earpiece. "Ariel, you're clear. The fire department just came back out, and the Secret Service is telling the White House staff, and visitors to go home for the night. You're in the clear." As the lion's voice faded into silence, Ariel gathered his supplies.
Stepping out of the closet, and into the darkness of Lincoln's room, Ariel found himself wishing that Eric was with him._ What's up with that? I usually don't miss the people I've worked on cases with. Shaking his head clear of the thoughts, Ariel set down his supplies, and took out a two liter bottle of soda. Ariel looked at the bottle, then grabbed it in the middle, and twisted to the right. The bottle opened up to reveal a small revolver. Just how easy is it to bring a gun into the White House? It's extremely easy when you put it in a bottle, and leave said bottle on the check-in desk. Stupid Secret Service agents just passed it to me without passing it through the x-ray, or the metal detectors._ Smiling, Ariel set the revolver down, and turned towards the book he brought with him. Opening it up, he started flipping through the pages, until he found the one he was looking for. The title of the page listed it as 'Ghost Summoning Ritual.' Glancing down at the page, Ariel picked up the flask of salt he had set down, and started pouring it out in a hexagonal diagram. Once finished, he picked up the book, and started speaking. "Any and all ghosts in this house, I demand that you appear into this Hexagram. Any and all ghosts in this house, I demand that you appear in this Hexagram." After repeating the line a second time, Ariel sat down on the floor, and leaned his back against a wall. Yeah, this is gonna take awhile. I hate having to use these kind of rituals. As that thought left his mind, Ariel felt a sharp pain go up his back. Closing his eyes, and letting out a small groan, Ariel reached into his trench coat, and took out a small pill. Gritting his teeth as another wave of pain went up his spine, Ariel popped the pill into his mouth, and swallowed it, bone dry. Almost immediately, he felt relief. As he relaxed, Ariel turned his head to look at the Hexagram, and jumped back at the sight of a pair of shoes in the diagram.
Ariel eyes looked up to the grinning face of Lincoln. Before he could say anything, Ariel's nose wrinkled as it was suddenly assaulted with the smell of Lincoln's hot breath. "You know boy, you really shouldn't be taking pills. They can be addictive. Oh, and you shouldn't try to play with things you don't know about." With those words, Lincoln punched Ariel in the jaw, connecting fully with the blow. Ariel's head snapped backwards as he let out a yelp of pain. Again, what is up everything supernatural punching me in the jaw. _ Rubbing his jaw, Ariel got up from the floor, and asked Lincoln one question, "why did you kill those two Secret Service agents?" Lincoln smiled at the question as he regarded Ariel closely. "I killed them because they were corrupt. My most recent kill was going to deliver drugs to somebody. I consider each killing justifiable. As will yours be." With those words, Lincoln punched Ariel in the chest. All the air in Ariel's lungs, escaped from his mouth as he grabbed his chest. As Lincoln advanced towards him, Ariel reached for his ballistic knife, but was thrown backwards when Lincoln kicked him in the face. As he fell on the floor, Ariel let out a small groan. _I fucking hate the fact that ghosts can actually hurt you, _thought Ariel as he got up to a knee. Tasting something in his mouth, Ariel spat on the ground, grimacing at the blood that ended up on the floor. _Yeah, I'm gonna have to clean this up later. If I make it out of this alive. Before he could get up properly, Ariel was knocked back onto the floor, after getting kicked in the balls.
Ariel's eyes widened as he grabbed his crotch, letting out a loud groan. As he fell onto the floor, Ariel's head landed next to his ballistic knife. Sensing his good fortune, Ariel grabbed the knife, and aimed it at Lincoln. Not worried about the knife in the slightest, Lincoln let out a laugh. "Ha! Boy, do you really think a small plastic knife will get rid of me?" Lincoln continued laughing as Ariel carefully aimed the blade of the knife where the ghost's jugular vein was. "You're right Lincoln, it won't get rid of you. Unless, it's soaked in dried up salt water. And it just so happens, this knife is." said Ariel as he pressed a small button on the end of the knife. Lincoln's face twisted in horror as the blade flew into his neck, embedding itself into his jugular vein. Raising his hand up to the blade in his neck, Lincoln let out a scream as he felt his body burst into flames. A second later, Ariel closed his eyes as Lincoln's ghost turned to ash. Opening his eyes, Ariel let out a deep breath as his body relaxed. Closing his eyes as he felt his body start jerking around at the pain from all the blows he received. _Yup, everything hurts. I'm surprised I'm even conscious from all this pain. _Sighing, Ariel focused, and his regeneration soon repaired all the damage Lincoln caused him. Once he finished, Ariel got off the floor, cleaned up the mess he made, grabbed his revolver, then walked out of Lincoln's bedroom.
In the hallway, Ariel had to prop his body up against the wall as he walked towards the exit. As he turned a corner, Ariel bumped into two Secret Service agents, and the President himself. Wincing at the pain that shot up his body, Ariel regarded the President and his guards as they gaped at his presence. "Um...sir, put your hands up, and get down on the floor." said one of the agents. Ariel looked at the guards, and then said, "listen, I was just beaten up by the ghost of Lincoln. My body is all fucked up right now, so I'd appreciate it if you would just shut up, and let me leave." The guards looked at each other, then reached inside their suits, and took out their guns. As Ariel watched them aim their guns at him, he let out an exasperated sigh. "Can y'all just let me go?" asked Ariel. When the guards shook their heads, Ariel rolled his eyes, and took out his revolver, and aimed it at the President. The guards immediately tensed, their fingers tightening on the triggers of their guns. Noticing this, Ariel gave the guards a chilling warning, "I suggest you don't shoot me. I will make sure that I squeeze off a shot before I fall, and that shot will hit the President." The guards looked at each other, silent words passing between them as they assessed their situation. Finally, the guards lowered their weapons, and signaled that Ariel could pass by. "Thank you." said Ariel as he passed by the guards. Still very much in pain, Ariel walked over to the front entrance of the White House, then turned around to face the guards. "Before I go, I must leave you with something, Mr. President." Smiling, Ariel raised his revolver, and, with no hesitation in his eyes, he shot each Secret Service agent dead. The President raised his hands in a sad attempt to protect himself as he watched the agents go down. Lowering his hands, the President looked up to see if Ariel was still around, and was relieved when he didn't see the boy their. Looking down at his agents, the President let out a slow breath, calming himself.
Location: Ariel's car, just outside of the White House's block. Time: 7:34 p.m
Where the fuck is Ariel at? It's been over two hours since we last spoke, _thought Eric as he paced around Ariel's car. Sighing, the lion stopped by the hood, and leaned against it, his tail flicking around in agitation. When Ariel didn't appear five minutes later, Eric let out a small growl, getting even more worried. _Where the hell is he? Eric asked himself, as he walked up to the back of Ariel's car. As he walked, he tripped over the sitting body of Ariel. As he fell, Eric heard Ariel let out a loud groan. "Urk. Eric, please watch where you're going. My fucking body hurts right now. By the way, I'd appreciate it if you got off the ground, and helped me into the backseat." said Ariel, his eyes squeezed shut as a wave of pain soared through his body. Eric got up from the ground as he listened to Ariel's statement. Dusting off his clothes, and his mane, Eric bent down, and put his arm around Ariel's shoulders, and Ariel put his arm around Eric's shoulder. "On the count of three, help me up. Okay cat?" asked Ariel. Eric nodded. Satisfied, Ariel counted down from three on his fingers, and once the last finger went down, he let out a gasp as Eric helped him get up. Once he was standing, Ariel allowed Eric to walk him to the back passenger seat. Once there, Eric opened up the car door, and helped Ariel in. As soon as Ariel was in a seated position, Eric clipped on the seatbelt, and took his head out. As Eric's eyes passed over Ariel's face, he locked eyes with him. Something unidentifiable passed through Ariel's eyes as he looked into Eric's eyes. As quick as the moment came, it was over, and Eric was closing the car door.
As Ariel watched Eric close the door, and the jump into the driver's seat, he let out a pained sigh, and let his head fall back against the headrest. Yeah, the fall a day earlier, combined with getting fucked up by Lincoln, really did a number on my body. At least I'm still in one piece. _As he was thinking, Ariel heard Eric start up the car, then turn to him and ask him where they were heading to. "We're heading over to Florida. So set it up on the G.P.S." responded Ariel. Nodding his head, Eric turned to the G.P.S. and did what he was told. As Ariel looked on, he couldn't help but think about the moment that his eyes locked onto Eric's. _His eyes are a pretty deep gold. And I've never noticed this, but he doesn't look half bad. I might just actually like Eric as more than just a friend. Ariel's train of thought was derailed as he felt his earpiece vibrate in his pocket. Cursing whoever was calling him, Ariel reached into his pocket, placed the earpiece in his ear, and then spoke into it. "Hello?" asked Ariel. The voice that he heard answer back, made his blood run cold. "Hello Ariel. It's nice to hear your voice again." said Asmodeus. Ariel sat up, glanced at Eric, then went back to speaking. "What do you want Asmodeus?" As soon as he finished asking his question, Ariel heard Asmodeus laugh, and he could swear that he could hear the Demonically possessed wolf smile. "What I want, Ariel, is for you to come back home to Brooklyn. We will meet for the first time in 11 years, and we will finally see who will kill who. I also have something to tell you, son." Ariel's eyes turned cold as he heard Ariel call him son. "Listen Demon, don't ever call me son. You are not my father, and I'm not some kid on the street." said Ariel angrily. Asmodeus didn't say anything other than, "make sure you come back home." The wolf then hung up, leaving Ariel fuming. Asmodeus want's to meet up to find out who will die? He's gonna get his wish. His mind made up, Ariel grabbed Eric's shoulder, and said, "fuck Florida. Type in Brooklyn, New York, Eric. Asmodeus is waiting for me there." Eric didn't say anything in response. Instead, the lion typed in their new destination, then stepped down on the gas pedal, sending the car speeding along the road.
This officially ends chapter six. And yes, Ariel is on the run from both the police in Texas, and the Secret Service. As of now, I'm just gonna let you speculate on what's going to happen next. There are three guarantees though. Here they are: Chapter 8 will end book one of this series. The ending is split into two chapters, which means Chapter seven is the first part of the ending, and Chapter eight is the second part. The last guarantee, is perhaps going to be the one to leave you guessing. In chapter seven, something shocking will happen. And in chapter eight, Ariel will learn something that will leave him broken. Anyways, constructive comments are welcomed, nonconstructive comments are not welcomed. Now that I'm done here, I bid you all GOOD BYE!
