Dark Angel Ch.2
#2 of Dark Angel
My hole was sore, waking up, and I reeked of cum from last night. Kain still had his arm around me, sleeping peacefully, and his fur was matted. This moment was perfect and I could've gone back to sleep in his arms but I had things to do today. I released myself from his hold and slipped out of bed, heading outside to draw water for my bath. The water from our well was freezing but it was better than being covered in cum all day. Heading inside, I grabbed a new robe out of my closet, a simple light blue robe with gold trimmed edges. A pair of arms wrapped themselves around me and I felt a kiss to my cheek.
"Good morning, love" Kain greeted, nuzzling me.
"Good morning to you as well," I gave him my own kiss right on his head, giving him my irresistable smile. He started to grow an erection again and was softly humping my ass. I pushed him away, waving a finger at him. I was happy to be his mate but he needed to learn that I wasn't the type of person to engage in sex in the morning. He would have to be patient and wait until night. He gave me his puppy look but I've learned to ignore it.
"Where you headed off to?" he asked, slipping on his clothes from yesterday. I grabbed his trousers and threw them in the laundry basket where they belonged.
"In case you've forgotten, I'm an enchanter, and I need to teach the apprentices down at the academy," I explained, tossing him a new trouser and grabbing my bag.
"Do you need an escort?" he asked me, chuckling.
"Very funny, Kain. I'm not going to get lost again just like when I was eight, besides don't you need to head down to the training grounds and train those new recruits you got earlier?" He pondered this and shrugged his shoulders.
"I guess...but it so painful just trying to teach them simple moves. Some of them are too busy oogling me to do anything," he explained. I had to stifle a laugh at what Kain had said. Even when most people in Unity knew we were together, some were still unaware of our relationship and developed crushes on us. Both of us have had our shares of secret admirers, some leaving letters or confessing to us. Kain always got the attention of females or feminine males and I always attracted the attention of very masculine males. Once they knew of our relationship did they send apolgy letters or gifts.
"Well just try to do your best. I know that furries can tell that you're mated to me but you might have to do some explaining to humans. Well, I'm off, bye Kain!" I closed the door behind me and walked down the dirt road, occasionally looking back to see if Kain was following me.
The academy was a large building with four spires protruding from each corner of it. They represented the four basic elements of magic: fire, water, earth, and air. Walking in to my classroom, I almost got fried from a fireball if I had not erected a barrier in time. I looked at the person guilty of it, Daniel Lareen, a tiger who was incredibly cocky and spoiled.
"Daniel Lareen, what did I say about launching fireballs in class?" I asked him in a calm tone. He just shrugged and pretended to look innocent, giving those big cat eyes. Whatever, I had a class to teach, I could deal with him after. I dropped my bag on my desk and had a piece of chalk write some things on the board. It was an explanation of the magic element, water, and all of its sub-categories.
"Who can tell me one of the many sub-categories of water, anyone?" Several hands raised up and I called on a lion.
"Ice," he answered. I nodded my head in agreement and called on a human boy.
"Steam," he answered, a sliver of doubt in his voice.
"That's correct," I reassured, giving him an approving nod. We went down naming the many sub-categories of water until Daniel raised his hand. I groaned silently, hoping he had a worhtwhile question.
"Why are you so young teach? I mean most teachers here are older than you," he asked me.
"Well, that's because I trained in this academy" gesturing to the building, "when I was at the age of five and I was a fast learner so I graduated at the age of twelve," I replied, a few awes came from several students.
"Nerd," I heard him say. He was starting to get on my nerves, time to eject him from class. With a flick of my finger, Daniel's desk moved itself out the door with him inside.
"You can stay out there until practice session begins, but until then you can study these books about water and its uses in magic," I told him, several textbooks flew by my head and out to where he was struggling to get out of his desk. It was futile to try, I had placed a binding spell on it making him unable to escape until I broke it.
Class continued on without any distractions, besides the frustrated cries of Daniel outside. Evveryone, including me, couldn't help but laugh as Daniel begged me through the closed door to let him go, saying he had to relieve himself. After a short lecture about water, I let the class off on a practice session and had Daniel's desk slide back in, breaking the binding spell. He ran back out the door, heading down to where the restrooms were, apparently having to relieve himself.
Class ended and I dismissed the students, announcing a quiz about water in two days. I didn't feel like talking to Daniel today so I left before he could return and headed down to the training grounds. The training grounds weren't that far from the academy, only a few blocks away, and I made it just as Kain dismissed the recruits. He was resting on a bench, his head laid back and eyes closed. I planned on sneaking up on him and surprising him but I knew that he would hear and smell me before I got even close to him. So instead I used my magic to teleport myself on top of him. On a count of three I teleported myself on too of Kain, planting a kiss on his lips and completely surprising him. His hand went up in the form of a fist, thinking I was some stranger that he could pummel, but stopped himself when he saw it was me. Once he realized that it me, he opened his lips apart, allowing our tongues to play around with each other's.
"Hi, surprised to see me?" I said, a playful smile on my face.
"I sure was surprised. I was going to give you a black eye if I didn't see it you," he told me. I laughed and rested my head against his topless and sweaty chest, moments like these were just priceless. He wrapped his arms around me and we stayed like that for what felt like hours, wishing we could stay like this forever.
"I love you," I told him.
"I love you too," he said, holding me tighter and resting his head on mine. Perfect, was a word to describe us. We were a perfect couple with an undying love for each other and were made for each one another.
Suddenly, the town bell rang, signaling a meeting in the square. Kain put on his vest and we both dashed to the square. Arriving, we both saw a full battalion of soldiers, bearing the royal seal, in the square. I saw my father talking to another human adorned in a fine gold robe and crown, the king. Next to the king was a boy of about eighteen years, dressed in the same matter as the king, my guess was that he was the prince. My father and the king were in a heated arguement over something and I teleported myself next to him, surprising the king and prince.
"Father, what's wrong?" I asked, looking at our royal visitors. My father was a tall and honorable man, he was the mayor of Unity for the past five years and has brought the town great prosperity.
"Silnis, what are you doing here? Get back to your home and I'll deal with this!," my father ordered, a shred of worry in his voice.
"So this is your son Nicholas. I have to say he is quite dazzling to look at, a perfect match for my son," the king said.
"What?!" I questioned, a confused expression on my face.
"Silnis!" Kain came running up to me, a group of soldiers pursueing him. He was only a few feet from me when a net was thrown over him, weighing him down. The guards surrounded him and pointed their weapons at him, poised to kill him.
"What's going on here!" I demanded, marching up to the king and jabbing my finger into his chest. He then slapped me across the face, sending gasps from the watching townsfolk.
"You have alot to learn if you are to be my son's future lover, and one thing is to never touch a member of the royal family unless given permission," he said to me. I looked over to the prince who had a look of lust and hunger in his eyes.
"I'm not going to be his lover, Your Highness. I already bonded myself with someone, and that someone is trapped under a net with your guards pointing their weapons at him!" I shouted at him, pointing to Kain. The king and prince exchanged glances, a silent conversation going between them.
"Kill him!" the king ordered. A look of shock went across my face as I looked to where Kain was, the guards were raising their weapons for the kill when something inside me snapped. I teleported between the soldiers and Kain and froze them solid in ice. With a snap of my fingers, the ice statues shattered and Kain's net snapped loose. I didn't know what was wrong with me but I wanted blood, I wanted death.
More soldiers surrounded us and charged at me with their weapons. A look of pure evil burned in my eyes and made several soldiers think twice about charging me, others were unfortunate. One unlucky soldier attempted to behead me but a column of flames reduced to him ash before everyone's eyes. The other soldiers backed away, afraid of my powers.
"Don't just stand there you fools! Kill the wolf!" the king ordered. An arrow shot past my face and got Kain in the shoulder, I looked to the shooter and saw it was the prince, a bow in his hand. Seeing Kain injured unleashed something in me. Soon I drew out my daggers and was slaugthering soldiers one by one. They all fled in fear but none escaped my wrath. Blood stained my robes but it made me want more blood, more death. The whole battalion that the king had brought was soon reduced to a small group of twenty soldiers, all cowering in fear as I slowly approached them, blood dripping down my face from the many soldiers I killed. I encased one soldier in a stone tomb and had it bury itself deep in the earth, another soldier was launched into the air until he was a dot in the sky, and another slowly choked from the amount of water I was feeding him.
I was about to finish off the rest when I was suddenly spun around and met with a kiss to my lips. My blood rage quelled as my mind became clear from wanting death and blood. Kain had removed the arrow from his shoulder and was now calming me down from my blood lust.
"I'll make sure no one will seperate us. I love you too much to leave you alone," Kain's promise rang clear in my mind. As long as I with Kain then everything was going to be all right. I wouldn't have to be the prince's lover, not if Kain was here to protect me.
I dropped my blood-stained daggers and cried into Kain's chest, knowing that I had killed hundreds of soldiers without meaning to. All my life I've tried to avoid senseless fighting or killing but now I broke the one thing I tried to avoid for so long. Kain was running his hand through my hair, comforting me. We didn't notice it but water from the square fountain circled me and cleaned me of the blood, and the earth swallowed the dead bodies, burying them. The soldier that I had thrown into the air came screaming down and would've met his death had the wind not cradled his fall. The sun shone high in the sky and its rays healed Kain's arrow wound.
Everyone stared in awe as the elements worked their magic and cleaned my misdeed. I looked over to where my father was to find that the king and prince were gone without a trace. The sound of horse hooves on the street was the only sign that they had left. Townsfolk surged to us, asking us if we were okay and what had come over me. I honestly didn't know what happened to me but all I knew was that I didn't want it to happen again.
Kain carried me back to our home and laid me on the bed with him. Tonight wasn't the night to indulge in sex as I laid motionless on the bed, Kain's arms wrapped around me. Somehow I wished that today was all a dream but I knew better that it had happened. I had turned into a monster that craved for the death and blood of innocent lives, lives that weren't meant to be taken away yet. Life was going to get more complicated now that I two things to worry about.
