Yure and Liontari were attacked by... vultures.

Sex 17 Fev 2012 13:48:47 BRT     As we walked in the jungle, we heard a movement in the bushes. Two vultures approached us, holding spears. Liontari and I got in position to fight. I prepared to defend, so did Liontari. Without explanation, the vultures attacked, Liontari defended himself, hitting the spear away. The second vulture also attacked Liontari, but the lion tried to flee. Even so, Liontari got a little cut on his left shoulder. I remembered about my affinity and tried to summon it. I was succeed and I made a fire ball on my paw. The vultures watched in amusement. Liontari took advantage of their state and ran over one of them, hitting him hard on the gut. Said vulture pierced Liontari's right side of the gut, causing the lion to bend over. The second vulture took me off Liontari's shoulder with his spear, piercing my own shoulder. I fell, but on my feetpaws. I prepared my trick again and shot a small fireball against my offensor.    Liontari recovered from the shock and hit the vulture that pierced him with a punch on the head. The vulture that was hit pulled his spear from Liontari's body and pierced him again. Liontari backed off, bleeding from his wounds. The vulture I was facing pierced me on the shoulder again. Even if I tried to dodge, it made the cut larger. "Okay...", I thought, "let's make it harder!" I made a larger fireball this time and threw it right away after casting it, with all the strenght I had. The vulture took the blazing sphere on the chest, but he wasn't really hurt. I was still too weak to actually deal a good damage to them. Liontari thought about fleeing, but the vultures would just hunt us. He waited for the next attack. The vulture that was fighthing Liontari attacked once again, but Liontari dodged this time. The vulture that was facing me attacked and I was pierced on the leg when I attempted to dodge. I was getting weaker and had to do something quick. I needed to try again. I focused harder, made another fire ball and shot it, hitting the vulture, dealing more damage, but still nothing that could take him down or burn his clothes more than a little. I felt dizzy and my legs gave in. I fainted.    Seeingthat I had fainted, Liontari instantly summoned his affinity, causing him and I to become invisible. The vultures looked around, trying to find us. Liontari got me and walked away, the sounds in bushes revealing our localization, but the vultures decided to let go.    As the rush ended, Liontari reappeared and so I did. I was tired, exhausted from using my affinity too much. Liontari was severely wounded and would die if he had to fight more than that. He got me on his arms and walked around, looking for someone able to heal us. Since we were far from the city, all that we could do was to rest and wait for someone's mercy. However, while walking, Liontari found a wooden house. He had to try, so he approached and knocked the door. An old husky lady opened the door.    Seeing our state, she quickly welcomed us and told us to sit on the floor, while she took the bandages and cold water. While we waited, Liontari worried about my condition. I looked very weak and the wounds were bad, wouldn't stop bleeding. Liontari put her big paw over one of my wounds and pressed, trying to stop the flow of blood, but I moaned in pain. He had no choice and it was the best he could do; his pride and confidence in himself made him leave the first-aid stuff at home. I remained asleep. The husky came back and washed my wounds. I hissed at the pain.    - Hold on, Yure - said Liontari.    - What happened to you two? - asked the husky.    - We were attacked by vultures... - Liontari looked at her.    - Oh... - the lady looked down a bit. - They are a big probem... It has been like this since... since the boss of their tribe was kidnapped.    I hissed again, but woke up.    - Evrything hurts... - I complained.    - I can tell... - said Liontari.    - Rest, little one - said the husky. -, this will hurt some.    She applied alcohol.
