Chapter 44

I woke up from warm water dripping on my face, thinking it was Jesse

I pushed him away from me. What I grabbed was definitely not part of Jesse. I open my eyes and saw two faces staring at me, the dogs from the shelter. The spirits did not hold back when they made them well again. These two shepherds looked nothing like the ones from yesterday. I rubbed the ear of the one closest and up he climbed. Most of him was on top of me, his tail wagging a mile a minute. I knew he was the male because his shaft was fully exposed. The female jumped all the way onto the bed, which woke Jesse.

“What’s with you? You normally don’t shake the bed in the morning.” Jesse asked.

“Turn around and you’ll find out.” Was my reply.

“Hey, hey stop! Who let the dogs in here?” Jesse was pulling the head of the female away from his face as she kept trying to lick all over.

In all the commotion, the sheets were pulled off of me. The male got in the bed and stood over me, just looking at me and not caring what the female was doing to Jesse. He decided to sit down right on my groin. I could feel his balls pressing against mine. He just stayed like that, looking at me. I thought he was waiting for an order. “You feel warm, but you need to get off.” I told him nothing happened. He just cocked his head to the side a little and kept looking at me. “Okay, Off.” I told him and also pointed where he came from. He got up and jumped back to the floor. “Sit.” He sat and waited. “The male is trained.” I told Jesse.

“Definitely not the female. I can’t get her to doing anything I say. I give up.” Jesse got out of bed dragging the female with him and deposition her on the floor. “I did not see the dogs last night when we got back here. Did you?” Jesse asked me.

“If I did, I don’t remember. I was with you, but my mind was too busy trying to figure out everything from yesterday.” I admitted to Jesse.

“These two look nothing like the two from yesterday. They’re bigger. At least they look bigger.” I told Jesse.

“It’s possible that it’s just that their coats are clean and fluffy, or maybe they were so gaunt at the shelter and this is what healthy shepherds look like,” Jesse replied.

“Ursus, I need you.” I shouted.

“You Called, Master.” Ursus said as he appeared beside the bed.

“Why did you leave the dogs in our cave? They could have damaged stuff, or did their duty, you know, go to the bathroom somewhere?” I said.

“That is the reason we left them here. Just like when you and Jesse make love and cum over everything, or you invite some of us to join you and something like the light or dresser breaks. It all cleans and repairs shortly after.” Ursus explained.

“So then, why can’t the animals go running around the caves if everything will just clean itself?” I asked.

“Your cave is small compared to the cave system. While it can be done, it would require significant spiritual energy—more than we can manage while maintaining our current tasks. You would need to double the spirits present to make it possible,” Ursus stated.

“And me bonding an unbound does not use much spiritual energy?” I asked.

“It does, but only once. If you could bound all the unbound in our realm, it would be less energy than the energy we placed in your cave alone.” Ursus answered me.

“Why is it that others can only bind one animal, as far as you know? Shouldn’t they be able to bind ten or even a hundred?” I asked.

“We do not know for certain; all we know is that the spirits that currently exist have at most witnessed only one bonding. They have heard of, but never seen, a being bonded with two unbound,” Ursus said.

“Okay, you take the dogs and Jesse and I will take a shower and meet you and the others in the dining area.” I stated.

“Yes, Master, we will await your coming.” Ursus and the dogs faded away.

As I came out of the shower, Jesse made some clothes form on him, and I did the same. Jesse’s outfit disappeared as soon as he formed it. Mine kept changing to that outfit from the ceremony binding the inner circle to me. “I guess you need to stay naked, and I have to look weird again,” I stated.

“You know me. I’m fine either way,” Jesse replied.

“Yeah, yeah, only because you got the body to show off. Other than the time I bonded with the inner circle, I can’t change myself except down there.”

“The spirits told us you can change because of the ceremony. You just need to practice more.”

“Whatever, let’s go already.” As I said that, we were standing in the same section of the cave we did the ceremony in. The only difference was that the only ones waiting for us were all the spirits and the two dogs. All the spirits were naked, like Jesse. They were all bowing down as before. Surrounding us.

“Master, we are ready to perform the ceremony. You just have to order the unbound that we will bring here to enter the male dog. Jesse, there is an opening in our circle that will be your place. You do not need to do what we do, just stand to complete the circle and face the Master.” Ursus and Stone were speaking as if they were one.

“So, I just order the unbound, like say I order you the unbound to enter the male dog, that’s it?” I couldn’t believe it was going to be that simple.

“You need to say it and mean it. Will the unbound to enter. The words are not as important as the feelings you project.” Again, Ursus and Stone spoke as if they were one being.

“Alright, I’m ready.” I said.

The cave became dark, like no light at all dark. The spirits started glowing and then took their spirit forms. All of them raised above Jesse and began moving in a circle as they speed up. They started blurring together, not as one being but a circular ring of light that I could see thru. They then became two spirt dragons chasing each other’s tail. Ursus dragon and Stones dragon. I looked at the two shepherds and they were frozen in place. I didn’t know if it was from fear or if the spirits were controlling them somehow. Jesse was looking in my direction, but he was most likely looking above my head at the two dragons. Another glowing form appeared right above my head. I kind of looked like a bright ball of light.

“Now Master, Order it into the male.” Both dragons spoke.

I mustered my inner strength, trying to only think about getting the unbound into the male shepherd. “I order you to enter the male shepherd. Bind as one with him.” I kept looking at the unbound light ball, it floated down and stopped right in front of my face. “I order you to enter the male dog.” I pointed down and to my right, where he was frozen like a statue. The unbound floated away from me and to the two shepherds. As I watched, the ball became two and one entered the male, the other the female.

There was a flash of light and the shepherds were both moving again. Whatever was happening to them did not look pleasant. Their bodies seemed to be contorting, then the next second they were spirits. then they were back to being corporeal, finally they stopped changing. They stood beside each other, looking at me. The light in the cave came back, and the spirits were once again bowing on their knees, heads almost touching the ground.

‘Do you approve of our forms, Master?’ I heard both a female and a male voice speak in my mind.

‘Not that I don’t like your current forms, but can you change into other forms?’ I said back to them.

‘Just think of a form you want and we can become that form.’ Again, both a female and a male voice answered.

I pointed to the male. ‘You change into a lion.’ I brought up an image of a lion in my thought. Pointing to the female, ‘You change into a Badger.’ I did the same, remembering what a badger looked like. They started changing, since they had no reference to size the lion and the badger were both the same size as the new shepherds. In shepherd forms, they were much bigger than the unbound dogs.

‘Do we please you now, Master?’ Their voices did not change.

‘I see we need to show you how big a lion and badger are. You both look perfect, but a lion is like twice as big as the dog you were, and a badger is half as big and the dog you were. Please change back into the shepherds.’ I told them. They both changed back almost instantly.

‘I have a question for both of you. When you were brought here, only one was brought, but when I ordered you to enter the male, you split into two and entered both dogs. Tell me why? And how this is possible?’

‘We are two beings. If there was only one animal to enter, we would both enter the one. There were two animals, and we separated to each enter one of the animals. We knew once we entered the male, we could not leave him. Two of our kind in one body would be uncontrollable. You would make us turn into our spirit form and lock us in that state. We knew that and that is why we separated.’ This time, the female only answered.

‘You just said you would be uncontrollable; how would I order you to listen to me?’ I asked.

‘We would be uncontrollable if you were not always ordering us all the time to stay calm.’ The male answered.

‘Okay, I will put some rules down that both of you must always follow. One you must never kill any human. You will protect all members of the Oasis. Unless Jesse, the man over there or I take you out of the caves, you will not leave the caves. You will shrink down to the size of the two shepherds you bonded with. This is you default shape and size. Later, I may add some other rules. Do you both understand?’

‘Yes, Master.’ They both answered.

I looked up to see what the spirits were doing while I was communicating with the shapeshifters. I did not notice this when I pointed to Jesse earlier, but now, looking longer, none of the spirits nor Jesse was moving. It was like they were the ones frozen in place. “Jesse, is something wrong?” I said as loud as I could without shouting. It was like time started up again for everyone. Jesse was looking at the two shepherds and the spirits were raising up so they could look at me and the dogs.

“Did the binding work, Master?” Both Ursus and Stone said.

“Did you not see it?” I asked.

“See what? I was looking at you all this time and nothing happened other than a ball of light appeared and then disappeared.” Jesse said.

‘We can explain, Master.’ Both shapeshifters said.

‘Do so.’ I told them.

‘You speak to us at speeds that are faster than the brain can fathom. We can change almost as fast. The time from our binding till when you spoke to Jesse was less than a second of time to them. This only happens when we are communicating to you, or you to us.’ The male shepherd explained.

“To answer your question, the binding did work. It may have worked too well, though.” I said to everyone, after seeing movement from Jesse.

“Both of you change back into the lion and the badger, this time become the correct size.” I said to the two shapeshifters.

“Wow, that’s great, but only one was to be bound? I saw the one ball of light. Was there two?” Jesse asked.

“The ball of light we’re twins, I think. They split and each one enter one shepherd.” I told Jesse. This made all the spirits start jumping from joy.

“Again, Master has proven us right. He is the one we have been looking for.” Ursus shouted.

“I just told you the unbound were twins. Two spirits in one egg. I had nothing to do with it.” I shouted back so everyone could hear me.

“You don’t understand, Master. This was foretold in our world,” Stone said.

Jesse had come up to me and said quietly. “You just need to accept the fact that you’re special.”

“Oh boy, I’m never going to do another ceremony again.” I said quietly to Jesse as I put my hands to my face.
