Additional chapter, and where most people are going to start. Who reads no-yiff, am I right?

The room rocked, swayed, and otherwise was quite unpleasant to be in. He hadn't really expected to get this far, so in one case the ferret could be considered to be lucky. On the other hand... Well, he couldn't even walk two steps before a movement of the ship sent him either to the bottom of his cabin or ramming up against one of the pieces of furniture that were bolted securely to the walls. Lucky, that was definitely him.

The cabin was pretty damn nice, in any case. The captain got all the best furniture that could be bought, stolen, or acquired from other ships. The centerpiece of it all was a massive bed that seemed to take up most of the room, set in an elaborate and expensive looking frame. The wood even looked hand carved. Each of the four bedposts made into a horrifically accurate recreation of Grott's features.

The rest of the furniture seemed to more or less match that, though thankfully there were no other reminders of Grott on any of them. The bed must have been a very special case. A variety of battered looking dressers scattered the room, along with a large rolltop desk in one corner. Using some of his natural ferret instincts to go poking around, he'd been disappointed to find that the only thing inside any of them was a variety of empty bottles stacked in to capacity. A minor disappointment, but at least it would be easy to clean up.

Things had turned out pretty well for him, Nal just wished he knew what was going on aside from that. He was the captain, right? But they'd just raised anchor and set sail without bothering to consult him about destinations or plans. Not that the ferret minded. The main problem of getting away from a soon to be incredibly angry former captain Grott was quickly solving itself!

He just wished that he'd get his sea legs quickly. It's difficult for the crew to respect a captain who can't walk on a moving ship without stumbling onto his face. Finally deciding to just get some sleep, he started to secure himself to the bed to make sure he didn't fall out with the ships movements. Yeah, lucky. That was definitely him, That was why he was tying himself to a damn bed in order to keep from killing himself in his sleep. Lucky.

Privacy was hard to find on a ship, even at the best of times. So he usually just grabbed his partner and dragged them into a corner. It was a little much for his current prey though. The otter was surprisingly shy for one of his kind, so Ree had had to be forceful about it, just grabbing the younger male and pushing him into the nearest corner of the passageway once the two of them had managed to get alone and forcing the point. He thought that the otter's name was Dinh or Dan or something like that, but couldn't be sure. Whatever it was, he had something that Ree wanted.

It wasn't that Ree was a slut. He just had certain needs, needs that he got to help satisfy as well as earn plenty of favors from the rest of the crew. Not all of them preferred males, to be sure. But when you get miles away from dry land, a warm set of lips or a tight hole was something that they'd be more than willing to trade favors, coin, or whatever else they could get their hands on. And Ree was more than happy enough to take it. Besides, it was fun too. He hadn't managed to get this Otter before, so he was looking forward to that as well. The otter for his part seemed to be blushing furiously about the position that he was in. Cheeks a dark red underneath his fur, trying to look away, to not pay attention about just what the white wolf was doing to him.

Ree was an expert at this sort of thing, his paw seeking out the ties that held the ragged trousers on and tugging them down around the otter's waist, sinking down to his knees to get a better look at just what the male was packing. A nice compact furry sheath, though it already seemed to be swelling somewhat from the otter's arousal, and the thought of what was coming. A nice set of slightly aching balls dangled just below it, showing that he'd had a hard time finding either someone to help him relieve them or even enough privacy to do so with his own paw.

Weighing the dangling balls in his delicate pawpads, he carefully started to tease them. Letting his fingers caress, gently squeezing them before relaxing his grip and proceeding up to his main target. Ever so daintily, he peeled back the sheath, nudging the flesh back to expose what he'd been curious about ever since he first met the otter. It wasn't huge, which was no real surprise. But the shaft was still quite attractive all on its own. Tapering from a thick base to a slimmer tip, looking streamlined and quite interesting all on its own.

It wasn't huge, rather a respectable six inches. But Ree wasn't one of those picky furs, he was quite happy with this one, and proceeded to show the otter just how happy he was. Pushing his muzzle in close to nuzzle up against either side of it, he soon enough draped his tongue across the very crown of the shaft. Testing the taste of the flesh with a few swipes, he was soon pleasantly rewarded by the always welcome taste of cock.

As usual, Ree found it difficult to restrain himself, curling his canine tongue all over the head of the shaft, lapping at the slit, teasing his way down the shaft, tasting every last inch of the shaft with the eagerness that he showed with most carnal activities. This was what he loved most, the thrill of having another male helpless underneath him. The otter seemed pretty much frozen with pleasure, giving short little breaths but otherwise happy to let the wolf do most of the work.

Work that the wolf was happy to do! He finally had mercy on his prey and wrapped his lips around the very tip of the shaft, suckling on it lewdly. making a loud, sloppy suckling sound from the suction that he put on the maleness. His tongue curled around the very head of the shaft again and again before abruptly releasing the pressure to instead sink his lips further down the spire. The six inches of ottercock was perfect for this, disappearing into the wolves' long muzzle with no problems at all, not stopping until his cold nose was bumping right up against his sheath, trapping the shaft inside the warm oven of his maw.

By this time the poor otter was moaning, trying to thrust his hips, to fuck the warm hole that Ree's muzzle represented. His hips pulling back, so that he could thrust back inside. The young male instinctively needing to fulfill his urges, the need to empty his load inside a willing passage. Ree would have snickered if he could, typical, but also sending a thrill of pleasure through his body. He loved having this sort of control over a male. The wolf didn't even bother to tease him or hold back his climax, his head just bobbing steadily over the length of the shaft, working with the otter's movements to help drive him up to the brink as quickly as he could. The steady slurps and suckling sounds coming from the wolf only making the otter blush even more under his fur.

His lips slid carefully up and down, down to the very base of the shaft. Squeezing firmly once he did so, forgetting for the moment that his partner wasn't a canine. The aroused wolf's tongue lapping along the underside of the swollen cock, urging it to work it's way towards a long awaited climax. Already, the otter was starting to produce some preseed; a steady supply of surprisingly thick, stickiness that the wolf proceeded to gulp down, lapping it off the shaft when he slid his muzzle back, suckling on the head to urge it to produce more. He swallowed every drop that he could urge it to produce, making happy little muffled moans of arousal while he did so. Ree fucking loved this sort of thing; it's one of the reasons he was so good at it.

All too soon the otter began to tense up, his balls tightening up against his body. The male let out the faintest of gasps as the skilled wolf drove him to the point no return. He even tried to bark out a warning before it happened, not that Ree could have missed it anyway. But he made no move to pull back, and then he received his gift. The otter's shaft pulsing deep in his maw, firing hot ropes of the sticky seed right onto the waiting wolves' tongue, feeding him shot after shot of the tasty white cream. Cream that Ree was quick to swallow, not wanting to make a mess, and savoring the taste of it on his tongue.

After a few moments, the shaft was dry, still weakly pulsing while Ree suckled on it. The wolf attempting to see if there was anything left to milk out of him.. And then the shaft began to soften, making him snicker. Slipping the shaft out of his maw and rising back up to his feet. "There, all better now." He teased the younger male. "Y..yeah. Just glad we could get some privacy now, I r..really don't like doing this stuff in front of everything. Good thing everyone was at the meeting with the new Captain, right? "Ree blinked, stared, and paused "The new what?"

The meeting had been going much better than Nal had expected. The crew seemed to mostly be relieved that the old captain was gone and not their problem anymore, and more than willing to give the ferret a fair chance before tossing him overboard.

They were deep in the bowels of the ship. The main cargo hold, if he was any judge of things. Then again, if this was the main cargo hold it was...oddly empty. Shouldn't they have food or fresh water or some other supplies? It just seemed like a big empty area to him. A variety of chairs and tables were scattered about, dragged in from wherever the crew could find them, and those who couldn't sit just stood. No one wanted to miss out on meeting the new captain and finding out his plans to make them successful once again.

Nal scanned the room, and took another look at the crew. They seemed pretty competent, on a first glance. A strong majority of them were aquatic species of some sort but that's to be expected. A large majority of otters was present, off in one corner playing some sort of dice game, more interested in earning some coin than listening to their new captain. But Nal did catch a couple of peeks over in his direction every few moments.

There were a couple of sharks, dolphins, and even one big orca scattered around the table that the ferret sat at as well. After the marine animals, there was the unusual scattering of other species. A few mice, one rat...which made Nal stare for a brief moment before shaking his head. Probably independent, but he'd have to ask Sledge to be sure. He didn't want to piss off the Technocracy any time soon. Several dogs, mutts by the look of them which made sense; mutts were looked down on in most of the kingdoms, not to mention the Empire. What better place for a mutt to get a better life for himself? And lastly, of course Sledge, who was in a class of his own.

"Anyway." Nal finally began, speaking up to address his crew, after everyone had gotten themselves a drink...or five. "It's good to see such a dangerous looking crew! I imagine you've got quite a lot of stories to tell me about your adventures, but lets get down to business. Firstly.."

That was right around that the time that Ree showed up. Most of the crew gathered around the table, the room flickering with lanternlight and the last of their drinks scattered about on every surface that could hold them. Most of the crew seemed like they were half drunk already, celebrating the loss of one captain with his replacement. And of course, the centerpiece of the meeting, an idiotic looking ferret dressed up in quite likely the dumbest looking clothing that the wolf had ever seen. "What the fuck is this?" Ree called out, not needing any effort to sound angry.

Sledge gave a low sigh and leaned back in his chair, causing it to creak ominously in the process. "Ah, I wondered where you got off to. Whats the matter? Got too distracted with taking one of the new deckhand's cherry?" He smirked, the grin only growing even wider when the wolf didn't answer right away. "Anyway, it's just a simple meeting where the crew can get to know our new Captain. Captain Nal, he comes highly recommended."

Ree was not quite so satisfied with this, and finally managed to speak up. "Recommended? By fucking who? What happened to Grott?" The bear just gave a shrug. "Well, he managed to get Grott's shares off of him, so thats a recommendation to me." The wolf glared over at first the bear, and then the ferret. The ferret himself was just smiling, letting Sledge do most of the talking for now. "Well good, we got rid of Grott. So make this Nal a crewmember, go right ahead. But we already agreed on a new leader, didn't we?" Sledge nodded. "We did, at least before someone else showed up, and besides. Better have a Captain than not. Besides, he's not a drunk, so he's already twice the captain Grott ever was."

Nal finally decided to speak up at this point. "I'm grateful that the ship has decided to give me a chance for being your Captain." Trying to make a graceful bow, only for the ship to abruptly hit a upswell at that point, so the arely managed to avoid hitting his head on the table, to the loud snickers of the otters, only vaguely interested in their gaming now. The rest of the crew gave a series of disapproving looks to his lack of sea legs, looking alternately pained or annoyed. "Though I can't really understand why you've been having so many troubles." Nal continued, attempting to salve some of his dignity by pretending he knew what he was talking about. "You mostly preyed on the Ranii from what Mr. Sledge tells me, but haven't you been paying much attention to current events? The Empire isn't exactly in the best of shape right now anyway. The Ranii might be under their protection, but that might not mean a whole lot for a while."

Ree just glared. "And what do you mean by that?" Nal just smirked, giving the impression of a magician about to pull a trick out of his hat. "Well, what I mean to say is that the rumors around town for the past week have been that the Empire has suffered an in incursion, by the Scarlet Reaches." The crew mostly looked bored by this information, not the most earthshattering bit he had to tell the truth.. "Who the fuck cares about that? The Scarlets do whatever the hell they want, anyway." Ree pointed out. It was true, the Scarlet Reach, the most powerful force on the planet, did pretty much whatever they wanted with the rest of the world, and if they wanted to invade another country just to dig miles underneath the ground to pull out some old artifact or another, Who cared? The rest of the world had gotten used to it.

Nal just tapped his nose. "Ah, but that's the whole point. The mighty and all-powerful Empress of the fearless Empire has decided that this invasion of her hereditary lands cannot be stood for. Apparently they decided to dig on some ancient royal grave or something. Her forces are massing for an attack to drive them off, to annihilate the foolish Scarlets and send a warning to the rest of the world. No doubt her fleet will help out as well. It's the perfect opportunity for a little creative raiding of our own. The new world would probably be the best target, reports are that the entire empire fleet has been pulled out to carry troops back." The ferret said, carefully not mentioning that his only source had been a single drunk merchant who swore it was true. After all, if it wasn't true, they were ruined. So best not to worry about that.

This news did have an effect on the rest of the crew, though. The dogs looked quite happy by the information, their ears perked up and looking almost gleeful to hear about the Empire's stupidity. Undoubtedly from the empire themselves, he'd have to keep that in mind. Sledge was the one that answered though, his low voice breaking through the muttering of the crew easily. "Really? The Empire is that stupid? They'd actually attack a Scarlet incursion force? They say the last country that tried that... Well, they don't call it the wasteland for nothing." Everyone mused on that for a time, while Nal continued his train of thought. "Well, if the Empire wants to fight off an army of slave soldiers, drugged up and religiously loyal to an immortal wizard-king that no ones ever seen...well, who are we to second guess them? Lets just start taking advantage of some of those rich little colonies that the Empire decided to just leave on their own."

Rich undefended colonies? Nal might as well have waved a pile of gold at the crew, since it all amounted to the same thing in their minds. They were all solidly on his side for the time being, and the ferret knew it. The promise of gold was a tempting one, and even Ree couldn't stand up against that much approval. He'd have his captaincy, as long as he could hold it!

Finally coming to a decision, Ree snarled his answer. But it was the one that Nal had expected all along. "Fine, lets do it. Since all of you are so eager to follow our new Captain's ideas in any case. But first, we need to resupply." He gave the ferret a knowing grin. "By the way, Captain. It was all we could afford to patch the ship up, we've only got enough supplies for a couple of weeks at best. Running low on tar, dried food, and fresh canvas. If you want to get us all the way to another Continent you're going to have to find us a nice fresh score over here. Thats the problem with having a drunk washed up idiot as a Captain, he uses all your resupply money on drinks. Hopefully you can do better."

The bear grunted. "I'd hoped to break it to him a little gentler, Ree. But it works. I hope you're good in a swordfight, ferret. Because we're going to need a nice fat merchant ship if we're even going to be able to pay the crew their shares after the last outing." Nal didn't look very concerned though, already formulating a plan or two about how to handle this situation. "Oh, I'll take care of it, just make sure you're ready to follow my orders exactly!" Not that he knew anything about sailing a ship, or much anything else about a ship. Luckily, the crew didn't seem to expect much out of him right now, but that would change soon!

Still, it was a place to start. And anything was better than living back on land in a dead end life. He was just going to have to come up with something quick. Or at least shut that Ree guy up. This called for a plan! Or multiple plans. Ferrets liked to make plans, the more elaborate the better. Luckily, there was plenty of time to do so while they sailed. And hopefully they found a suitable ship to attack before the crew gave up on him as captain... Ah well, he'd handle it!

Things were definitely looking up. He'd just have to hope that nothing went wrong along the way...
