#2 of The Tale of Arada

Alright here it is, Chapter two of Arada. I know this chapter is kinda boring, trust me I know, that's why it took me so long to write it, but anyways it just kind of sets things up for chapter three where the best pasts are yet to come.

By the way the first twelve paragraphs were edited by the very talented http://alex-kitsune.sofurry.com/

So if you notice that the first twelve chapters are well written and the rest is my usual writing, now you know why in advance.

Enjoy

"Riolu, dear come here. You reek and need a bath very badly." Lucario said softly as she chased her pup through their tiny two bedroom apartment. She knew it would very easy to catch her little ball of blue fur, but decided it was best to drain him of all of his energy if he was going to sleep at all tonight.

By now the little game of chase had been going on for almost fifteen minutes, and Riolu was starting to tire out. His mother could clearly see it. She let him run around the house a little while longer while she went to the bathroom and started running some warm water.

When his bath was ready, Lucario went on the search of her son, knowing that by now he must be curled up somewhere and ready to go to sleep. After searching in his usual sleeping and hiding spots, Lucario finally went to the bed they both shared and found him half asleep under the covers.

Even when she pulled the covers back, Riolu opened his eyes and made a feeble attempt to make an escape. "No, no, come on Sweetie, let's get you a bath before we go to sleep tonight." Lucario said as caught Riolu before he could scramble off the mattress.

After getting the half asleep pup into his bath and giving him a good washing, Lucario decided to slide into the water with him and just soak for a little. While the two were soaking Riolu began to yawn and curl up on his mother while she continued to soak. "Momma? When are Winter and Eve coming back?" Riolu asked, still half asleep on his mothers chest.

"I don't know dear." Lucario said with a deep sigh. "I know they've been gone for over a year now, but I just don't know when they will be coming home." She knew all to well why her friends weren't going to return home, but she didn't want to tell Riolu. So instead Lucario forced her best smile and gently rubbed her son's back. "Come on dear, let's get both get nice and dry, then we'll go lay down, kay?"

After Riolu agreed with his mother, Lucario stood up and brought her son with her as she stepped out of the tub. When Riolu was placed on the floor, like all canines with dripping wet fur, he started to rapidly shake his body in an attempt to rid the water plaguing his fur. When all was said and done, Riolu was left standing on a the bathroom floor with his fur nice and puffed out, making him look like a giant ball of blue fuzz.

Lucario couldn't help but laugh at her son as she did her best to pat down his fur. "Well I guess you just saved me effort of drying you off didn't you?" Lucario asked him with a giggle in her voice.

Riolu couldn't help but giggle and squirm a little as his mom patted his fur down. It wasn't an easy task to get the pups fur to lay flat once again, but after a short while Lucario was able to get it under control. After dealing with her pups fur, and giving it a good combing, she was able to tend to her own soaking wet fur.

"Come here you." Lucario said in a playful tone as she scooped up her pup, who had been sitting on the edge of the tub, and made her way into the bedroom. She placed Riolu on the mattress they called a bed and immediately scrambled under the covers for warmth.

"Ah, ah." Lucario said in a sing-song tone as she once again pulled back the covers on Riolu. "Remember what I told you? Before you fall asleep each night you must show me the symbols I taught you," she said, producing a small red crayon and a sheet of notebook paper, placing them on the hard floor.

Months ago now, Lucario had taught Riolu six letters. The first three were DEA; the second set was FBI. She, like her mother before her, taught her pup these letters so as to identify the humans who would be saving them.

After Riolu had written down the symbols his mother had requested, Lucario asked him, "and what will these humans be wearing?"

"Black clothing that covers their whole body." Riolu said, now in a much more tired tone that Lucario could not only hear but see in his tired drooping eyes.

"I know you're tired dear, but just one more question," she said as she gently lifted his chin up. "What do you do when you see these men enter the room?"

With his eyes closed and his body swaying, Riolu was able to keep his consciousness long enough to say, "stay in the corner with you; don't attack; wait for them to come to you." Right after, riolu fell back onto the mattress, fast asleep.

"That's my boy." Lucario said softly as she placed the blanket over him. As she stood up she began to feel a familiar aura coming from just outside the front door of the run down apartment she lived in. Then there was a knock.

Before Lucario even had a chance to ask who it was or even get to the door to answer it, the door was unlocked and thrown open from the outside. Bright light from the hall way flooded the dimly lit apartment, impairing Lucario's vision.

"Come on you worthless mutt. Get out here to the hall before I go in there and drag you out myself." Came a commanding voice.

Lucario complied and began to walk to the open door way. Her vision may have been slightly impaired but her aura sight was working fine and helping her not run into anything. When she made it into the hall, Lucario began to slowly open her eyes and let them adjust to the bright light.

As she stood there, the mercenary whom had commanded her out of the room, saw what condition her body was really in for the first time. She had few visible bruises; even under the black parts of her fur. At least a dozen, large, permanent scars covering her from head to toe; as well as indications of, improperly healed, broken bones.

"Get moving Lucario, Kai is back and he's been waiting to get his hands on you." The mercenary said as he nudged her along with the butt of his riffle and closed and locked the door behind to the apartment.

The two made their way through the apartment building through the service walk ways that the janitors and engineers would use when the building was still in service. "Stop." He said placing his massive hand on Lucario's shoulder. They were standing in front of a door with a sign reading: Super Attendant.

When the door was opened, Lucario was pushed in and the door behind her was slammed shut. Lucario's ear went back and laid flat against her head, with her tail tucking between her legs when the door was slammed and she saw Kai making his way over to her. "K...Kai, how....how was your trip to Cuba?" She asked as she cowered before him.

"It was a month of hot weather and stupid foreigners," He said angrily as he approached her. "Now enough talking, if I wanted to talk to you, I would have met you up stairs." He said with no change in his tone as he walked her through the small apartment.

"Alright doc here she is." Kai announced as he shoved her into what used to be the master bed room. "And be gentle, I don't like my possessions getting harmed." He said walking Lucario to the table.

"What.....What is he going to do Kai?" Lucario asked as she arrived at the table and watching as the doctor prepare machines and tools for an operation.

"Last month before I left I mated with you. Do you remember, or was I too rough?" Lucario nodded her head, telling him she remembers that day. "Well I know you were in heat at that time."

Before Kai could finish his sentence Lucario tried to make an escape past Kai, but was held back by him. As Lucario wriggled around in Kai's arms she started to cry. "You don't have to abort this one Kai." Lucario said, still trying to get out of his arms. "It's just me and Riolu up there now, you don't have to spend extra money."

Kai lifted Lucario up, before she could go on with her pleas, and slammed her onto the operating table, stunning her for a moment. "I suggest you shut the hell up before I send someone up there and kill that little brat too." Kai growled at her as he clamped her muzzle shut. "Now lie still. Remember If you don't lie still you'll get cut up inside." Kai chuckled evilly as he watched tears stream down Lucario's cheeks, "just like the last two times." Kai said as he let go of her muzzle.

Before Lucario could say anything, the doctor stabbed her arm with a needle and injected her with a medicine to knock her out. When the medicine took it's a affects and Lucario was passed out on the table the doctor started to connect her to machines so he could monitor her health.

"Now Kai, I know you don't want any more kids, but are you sure you want to go through with this? This procedure may kill her." The doctor said as he placed a special breathing mask over Lucario's muzzle.

"What do you mean? I thought you said you've operated on Pokemon before?" asked Kai as his anger began to boil once more. He never liked being lied to.

"What I mean Kai, is that there was never a successful procedure of neutering a female Lucario." Kai asked what the chance of her surviving would be and how much damage would be done to her body. The doctor simply rubbed the back of his head and scanned the body of the female on the operating table before him.

The doctor gave a big sigh and gently shook his head. "I can do this, and keep her alive, but she's going to be in a tremendous amount of pain for the next three months." Kai thought it over for a few seconds and asked if he would be able to yiff her in any of that time. "Sorry Kai, but the stitches may burst open and she can get a major infection that can lead to death. Then again that is all at your choice."

"Fine just take care of it. I'll be across town with my master. Just make sure she doesn't die." Kai said as he exited the room and started to make his way to the front door of the apartment. "Kai," the doctor shouted out to him, "What should I do with your unborn riolu once I remove it?" The doctor asked as he picked up a scalpel.

Kai chuckled to himself as he opened the door and looked out into the hall way. "I don't care," the doctor heard in his head as Kai used direct telepathy, "throw it in the trash for all I care." Kai said with a sadistic inflection as he slammed the door closed and made his way for the elevator.

two months later

"Momma? Are you awake?" Riolu asked as he tried to wake his mother. Lucario was on their bed and motionless. Both of her paws were placed over abdomen and shaking slightly from pain. Underneath her paws was a large vertical scar that ran from just under her chest spike down the portion of black fur that formed a belt like stripe around her hips.

"M....Momma come on get up." Riolu said with a wine as he increasingly began to get worried about her; she never stayed in bed this long before. Just as Riolu was about to give up he got an Idea, his tail began to wag behind him as he crawled over to her ears and began to gently nibble on them and gently pull on them.

"Riolu, dear," Lucario said through her pain, "Momma's very tired, and need's her rest, I'l play with you later dear, okay?" She said bringing a shaky paw up to her sons head to pat it. "Now go on dear, go play in the big room, I'll get up a little later and make you some lunch." Riolu whined softly but complied with his mother.

As the pup played in the living room with the few toys he had, he began to hear sounds he had never heard before. Sure there was the occasional yelling from the men outside of their home, but this time it was different some how; they sounded panicked. That's when the gun shots started to ring out. To a pup as young as Riolu, these sounded like dynamite going off inside of a cave, and it seemed to be getting closer.

Just outside of the door he could hear the voice of the humans whom watch the room and make sure Riolu and his mom don't make an escape. Multiple shots from assault riffles were being fired for what seemed like an eternity. When it was finally over, Riolu began to hear voices he did not recognize and several unfamiliar auras.

"Breach!" Came a thunderous voice from behind the door just as it was forced open with a battering ram. Four men wearing black tactical gear funneled into the room. Each had a flashlight attached to their H&K MP5's and scanned the room for threats.

When the door exploded into the apartment, Riolu yelped loudly and ran into the room where his mother was, but not before being seen by the intruding humans. "Momma!" Riolu said, frightened as he curled up close to his mother for protection.

One of the humans flashlights could clearly be seen as he made his way towards the room where Lucario and Riolu were currently in. Stopping just outside the door way, he quickly stepped in and raised his weapon and scanned the room. Moving over to the closet, he ripped open the doors and made sure no one was inside; He repeated it with the bathroom.

"Thomas, do you have anything over there?" came a voice from one of the humans.

Thomas shined his light on the injured lucario and her frightened pup. He got down on one knee and placed a hand on top of Lucario's head, causing her ears to twitch and her growl softly in pain. He then turned his attention to the pup and saw how frightened he truly was. "Thomas you got anything over there or not?" Thomas heard in his ear piece this time.

"Yeah I got something." Thomas said as he pressed a receiver that he wore on his vest. "Looks like we have some surviving Pokemon, get a medical team up here and contact the Pokemon Abuse Unit."

It was at that point that Riolu looked up from his mother and to the human, and noticed what it said just under where his hand was on his vest: DEA. This was it, Riolu thought to himself as he slowly uncurled to get a better look at the human. "Are.....Are you going to save us?" Riolu reluctantly spoke up just after Thomas requested the PAU.

Thomas looked down to Riolu to see he was starting to get up, and nodded his head. "Yeah little guy, I'm getting you two out of here."

About fifteen minutes passed before a medical team was able to get up to Lucario and Riolu's room. When they were in the room the team attempted to move her onto a stretcher, only to get a howl of pain from her. One of the paramedics noticed the large scar and immediately knew what was wrong with her. Sadly with her condition there was no easy way to move her. As gently and carefully as he could, the paramedic lifted Lucario onto the stretcher and moved her out of the room and into a waiting elevator. Riolu was carried out by Thomas. "Don't worry little guy, you're safe now, no one's going to hurt you anymore." Thomas said as he kept in pace with the medics.
