#2 of Someday in the Future

AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is sort of a piece I put together on a whim...and it turned out into something more. I hope to add more to it.

It takes place in modern times, perhaps maybe a bit into the future, but not too far.

When it says 'feline' it means more of a domesticated housecat than any other kind of cat. The same with canine. If I -ever- use equine (because I'm not sure any of my charas fit equine), then it's only because I don't know the breeds and such and I'm too lazy to figure them out.

There's a lot that might confuse you, but it will all be explained in later installments.

I would -love- some feedback. My e-mail is [email protected] so...drop me a line and tell me what you think.

There are several songs quoted, though you might not notice them. This episode's songs are from the latest Gwen Stefani (Stephani?) album and are copyrighted...I do not claim to own them or anything like that.

Someday In The Future:

Chapter 2: This Love Is Serious

The tall white furred tiger grinned out into the audience as he entered the stage, his hips swaying gently from side to side. He led behind him a young male feline who's fur was silver, like starlight. The tiger stood at the center of the square stage, his claws no longer clicking on the obsidian tiles. He pulled the feline into a tight embrace, his hand kneading the flesh of the shorter feline's exposed rear.

The only thing the young feline wore was a silver collar as he pressed close, mewling softly as he strained upwards in an attempt to kiss the tiger, his tail flicking behind him. The tiger simply laughed softly and swatted the feline's rear, pushing him down onto his knees. The expression of desire on the feline's face changed to delight as he nuzzled at the tiger's groin, looking up at the male and begging softly, his whispers muffled, but the feeling, the lust, was clear.

"Very well, kit. Go ahead," the tiger said, throwing a wink out to the audience as he pulled up a chair towards the front of the stage, sitting on it in a way to expose his groin, still covered, to the audience when it was finally revealed. The young feline mewed happily and hopped onto the tiger's lap, kissing him gently as his hands slid under the black T-shirt that the tiger wore.

"Now, now...be careful with those hands...I don't want to have to redden those cheeks of yours," the tiger whispered low, though loud enough to be heard by the audience. The feline giggled softly and kissed the tiger again, tugging the T-shirt up and over the tiger's head, leaning down and licking at his chest, his rough tongue pulling the fur and skin with it as he licked downwards.

"Mmmm...good kit," the tiger purred, stretching out and opening his legs, attempting to hint to the feline his will. The silver cat smiled and unbuttoned the tiger's black slacks, finding it a bit difficult due to the large bulge but succeeding and squealing softly in delight at the prize for his efforts. He smiled and leaned down, licking off the glistening tip as his eyes closed in joy.

"Don't get too hasty now...savor the taste, the smell," instructed the tiger, rubbing the feline's ears softly. The silver feline moaned softly, dropping his nose down into the tiger's lap, sliding the tiger's pants down further to get at the treasure. The tiger grinned gently and slid his hand down the feline's back, reaching out and kneading his rear gently as he closed his eyes and moaned softly, his voice carrying across the neon-lit room.

"Mmm...Sir smells so nice," the feline purred gently, taking in another long drawn out breath, taking in all he could of the tiger's scent. The tiger nodded, sliding his fingers into the feline's entrance, pressing in far and deep, eliciting a low purr from the feline on his lap.

"Do you like that, kit?" the tiger asked, beginning to thrust with his fingers, making it difficult for the feline to concentrate on the tiger's member. He closed his eyes focused as best he could, instinctively pushing back on the tiger's fingers as he wrapped his muzzle around the tiger's member. He began suckling gently, lowering himself slowly and casting a sultry wink out into the audience...and then it was gone and the tiger's groin held nothing but a pair of testes and a very happy feline.

The tiger chuckled softly, running his hands through the long headfur of the feline, turning his pleasure filled face out to the audience, his eyes closed as he purred loudly. The feline began moving up and down on the tiger's member, revealing more and more of the lengthy length as he ran his tongue gently over the head, lapping at it and eliciting a half groan, half-moan from the tiger he was servicing.

"Mmm...I'm close, kit," the tiger moaned, bucking up into the feline's mouth gently as his hand dug deeper into the feline, the young male's tail wrapping around his arm. He shuddered as the feline began purring loudly, vibrating the member almost visibly, a soft breeze blowing through the room though it was an isolated room.

"Yes! There it is..." the tiger cried out, his back arching as he released his essence into the eager muzzle of the smaller male, panting and moaning as it began to subside.

"Did you like it, sir?" the feline asked, licking the tiger's member clean as it slid back into its sheath. He whimpered softly, kissing the tiger softly.

"Will you let me cum, please?" he asked, pawing at the tiger's chest, a pitiful look upon his face. The tiger shook his head and kissed the feline gently.

"No. I want you fresh for your show with Anedin later. I want your cum to be all saved up and a nice present for my friend," the tiger said, standing up and righting the feline up, his fingers still deep within the silver feline.

"But..." the feline began, cut off suddenly by a sharp smack on his rear as the tiger led him to the stage exit, his fingers reinserting themselves.

"That's an order, kit. Do not disobey me," the tiger said low, slamming the door behind him, letting the rest left up to the imaginations of the audience.

"Great show, you two," said a tall black canine, smiling brightly to the two, chuckling as the tiger withdrew the fingers from the feline's entrance, sliding smoothly from the velvety depths.

"Damn it! You didn't have to do that, you big jerk!" the small feline said, tearing off his cold collar and sighing, giving a soft punch to the tiger's arm, his demeanor shifting fully. Onstage, he was a soft and quiet feline, but offstage...

"I'm sorry, sir," the tiger whimpered, unsure why he was being yelled at, but apologizing all the same, not wanting to anger his lover. The feline sighed and waved in a dismissive manner.

"You two might want to be ready, something bad has happened," the canine said, frowning softly at the information he'd just received. He tagged along behind the two, producing a large plastic jar and handing it to the feline.

"I mean, I know that it's better for me to appear to be your kitten, but seriously...it's just annoying! Your ass is -so- raw meat when we get our alone time," the feline said, shoving the jar angrily into the tiger's arms. The tiger stood stunned for a moment, but the feline continued walking around a corner.

"But...but Tsubasa!" the tiger said, running down the hall after the silver feline, shoving the jar into the canine's hands.

"Okay. Fine. Ignore me. Nothing bad just happened," the canine said sarcastically, sighing and heading off to the K-twins' dressing room to drop off their tips.

"I'm sorry Juntara, I'll talk later," the tiger called behind him, turning around and continuing his chase.

"Shunto!" Tsubasa said sternly, halting in mid-step and turning, causing the tiger to crash into the smaller feline.

"I'm sorry!" the tiger whimpered, pulling Tsubasa up. The feline sighed softly and wrapped his arms around Shunto's neck, kissing him gently.

"Don't worry, kit...You know I can't stay mad at you," Tsubasa said, sighing softly as his ears flicked gently, leaning forward and giving Shunto a deep kiss, his tongue invading the white tiger's mouth.

"I've kissed your lips a million ways, but I'd still love to have you around," Shunto said softly, nuzzling the top of Tsubasa's head.

"I've held you too many times to count, I think I know out inside out," Tsubasa whispered, chuckling softly as they played the usual game, his hands massaging gently the other's lower back.

"And we're together most days, but I still like to have you around. And you're the one I want, and it's not just a phase. And you're the one I trust, our love is the real thing," they sang softly together, their eyes falling closed as they melted into each other's arms, both purring softly under the melody and words.

Suddenly and with no warning, the back exit was tossed open, causing Shunto to squeak in terror, what he saw made him burst into tears.

"KYU!" Shunto screamed, rushing over to help Juntara carry in the mutilated feline, dripping with deep purple blood. Juntara roared in anger, falling to his knees as Shunto relieved him of Kyu's body, falling to his knees and panting, glaring at the pool of blood that had formed by the exit.

"Take him to his dressing room...shit, if only we had his tears!" Tsubasa said angrily, pulling Juntara up and hissing in rage.

"There should be some on the ground by the dresser. He had a tough time tonight...I think he began remembering more about him," Juntara said, using Tsubasa's small frame as support to get himself to the star's dressing room, exhausted from his terror and fret.

"Damn it! What happened?" Tsubasa asked, shutting the door behind them as Shunto laid Kyu onto a couch, gesturing towards the dresser.

"Some...fucking freak! Some...bastard just came out of no where! A lupine, black fur, and red eyes...like blood," Juntara said, flopping onto the couch opposite Kyu's unconscious form, taking comfort in knowing that he wouldn't lose such a good friend.

"Red..." Shunto began, dropping the amethyst jewels into Kyu's mouth.

"Eyes?" Tsubasa finished, blinking as the two looked at each other, then back at Juntara.

"What? Is that something big?" Juntara asked, looking warily between the sliver feline and the white tiger, his black fur standing on end in apprehension. The k-twins laughed nervously, trying not to give too much away, the subject too uncomfortable. They chose the easy way out and ignored Juntara.

"Attacked Kyu?" Shunto asked, worry in his voice as he sat down next to Kyu and pulled him onto his lap, holding the small purple feline to his chest and nuzzling his ears.

"Look at his neck...shit, it's fading...he's healing," Tsubasa said, grimacing and sitting next to Shunto, pointing out the best he could the wounds on Kyu's neck.

"What's going on?" Juntara asked, sitting up and looking at the scene in front of him, confusion in his eyes.

"Yeah, I see it...It's just like back then..." Shunto said, biting his claw in worry.

"Damn it! That means the attacker is out there still...how are we gonna track him down?" Tsubasa asked, running a hand through his hair and standing, beginning to pace the floor between the two couches.

"We've got a long way to go," Shunto said softly, pulling his knees to his chest and rocking gently, whimpering.

"Would someone tell me what's going on, or are you gonna ignore me like you did my duplicate?" Juntara asked hotly, glaring at the two. He hated being ignored and left out of the loop, especially about such big and important things.

"It's him...He's made his first appearance," Tsubasa explained, sighing and sitting on a chair. He grimaced and stood restlessly, pacing again.

"Him? Him who?" Juntara asked, his ears flattening backwards against his head.

"The Key. He's returned, somehow..." Shunto said, reaching down and stroking the unconscious Kyu's hair, a sad look on his face.

"The Key? What the hell are you babbling about?" Juntara asked as he sat up, tired of the ambiguities.

"The Key! The Finality! You're one of us! You should know him! You've met him before, Juntara. The Missing Piece!" Tsubasa said, throwing his arms up in exasperation. It was anInfern's birthright to know such information.

"I don't understand! I...Wait...The KEY? I thought he had blue eyes! Thus his name," Juntara said, confused as he stood and held Tsubasa still by his shoulders, looking into his grey eyes.

"You don't understand...He was, at one point...Shit! That's right! You didn't meet him that time. You didn't meet those times...he never made it," Tsubasa said, sighing and pushing Juntara's hands off of him.

"The Key has been changed...We didn't want him to die, so we changed him...or rather, Kyu changed him, when he still had that power," Shunto explained, pulling the small fragile kitten onto his lap, cuddling him close as his owner nodded gently.

"Changed? How? What did you do to it?" Juntara asked, eyeing Tsubasa. Tsubasa looked away, biting his lip and braiding his headfur absently.

"He kept dying too soon...we didn't know any other way," Tsubasa whispered softly, casting a forlorn look at Kyu, wondering if it truly was the right choice.

"How? What did you do to the Key?" Juntara asked, holding onto Tsubasa's chin and forcing him to look him in the eyes...at least, as best as one could with Juntara's sunglasses on. Tsubasa simply averted his gaze, unwilling to speak. Juntara glanced over to Shunto, but only got another averted gaze.

"You...You corrupted it somehow, didn't you?" Juntara asked, his ears flattening back further, his red fur getting a shade redder in his anger.

"M...maybe," Tsubasa said, his voice low and quiet. Juntara snarled and raised a hand to strike the silver feline, but felt his hand restrained. He looked to his side and narrowed his eyes, wrenching his arm from the grip of the white tiger, looking away from the icy blue stare.

"So you corrupted our only chance to win? What possessed you to do such a thing? How could you do something so reckless, so...so...so god damned stupid and risky!?" Juntara asked, storming off to another side of the room, his tail swinging in his aggravation.

"Juntara! Calm down! It'll work out for the best..." Tsubasa began, only to be cut off by a snarl from Juntara, causing the silver feline to blink in surprise.

"Work out for the best? What the fuck is wrong with you?! You have your lover, Tsubasa. Your soul may have been split, and two bodies may share it, but you're still there...together! I may never see Rei again!" Juntara said, oil leaking from beneath his sunglasses, anger, sorrow, and a general feeling of injustice swirling in his heart and soul.

"How dare you! You wouldn't understand for a second what it's like to be separated from the one you love! You always know that Fate will work it out for you two to be together, while I'm down here as an Infern and Rei is an Celes!" Juntara said, pounding onto the couch, his hand splintering the wood and tearing the fabric. He stood and glared from behind his sunglasses for a while. The room settled into silence save for the soft whimper from Shunto as he clung to Tsubasa, and the panting from Juntara as he attempted to gather himself.

"I'm sorry...I was mistaken. There's no possible way we could understand that separation. We've always been together, and we probably always will be...We take it for granted sometimes...I apologize for my error," Tsubasa said softly, nodding in apology to Juntara, pulling Shunto close in an attempt to comfort the tiger, nuzzling his cheek softly and whispering comforting words to him.

"I'm sorry...I'm just...so lost without her. Rei has meant everything to me...we built this club together! Rei, Kyu, and me...The first of the Infern, together and making this club. It didn't start out like this, no...but as time went on, it slid this way...from a charming diner to this...this...brothel! This pleasure club..." he said, sighing and falling into a chair, realizing for the first time in a great while how much he had let his own treasure become corrupted.

"We tried not to destroy it...we didn't mean to corrupt it, honestly. It just happened that way...we wanted to make it last, to live long enough to complete the Ritual. But...somehow it always managed to get killed...so we changed it. We thought it was only a little but..." Tsubasa said, trying to smile, but found it difficult, as there was little to smile about.

"We never imagined it would change so much...To turn as it did. We really didn't do it for the rebellion though...it was more for Kyu than anything else. He was opposed to it, really...perhaps he saw what was going to happen," Shunto said quietly, offering in his own view of the events from so very long ago.

"So now we have to deal with this mistake...this homicidal mistake that is now running around downtown Densetsu attacking without a care in the world?" Juntara asked, snorting and stepping towards Tsubasa and Shunto, the tiger burying his head into the crook of Tsubasa's neck.

"Yes and no. The Key won't attack just anyone...he's not a killing machine or a violent brute..." Tsubasa said carefully, unsure if explaining the situation fully was the best idea at the moment.

"But...? I know there is one, because you wouldn't just hold information back, would you?" Juntara asked with an edge to his voice, warning and prompting Tsubasa to continue on. Tsubasa nodded his head and sighed softly.

"The Key won't try to kill anyone...In fact, he won't try to hurt anyone..." Tsubasa said, interrupted by the auburn panther.

"But he did! He hurt Kyu! Don't you see? Well...saw, now that Kyu's healed..." Juntara said, sighing gently.

"...except for Kyu," Tsubasa finished, an annoyed look crossing his face. He didn't enjoy having to tell Juntara that information and it made him very uncomfortable, even more so as Juntara advanced on him.

"What? Only Kyu? This crazy bastard...This all important Key...it only wants to hurt Kyu?" Juntara asked, his nose scrunching upwards and distorting his face as he glared, his hair bristling in anger, feeling almost as if getting angry might somehow protect his friend, as he knew no real way.

"It's...complicated," Tsubasa said diplomatically, sidestepping the true issue.

"Don't give me that bullshit, Tsubasa! You've known Kyu longer than I, tell me what's going on," Juntara demanded, grabbing at Tsubasa's neck and squeezing gently, just enough to show his strength and what he could do when pushed. He nodded to his duplicate who held the white tiger back, letting him deal with Tsubasa alone.

"Fine...The thing is, the Key isn't just an item or something so simple," Tsubasa said, sighing softly, his ears folding backwards against his skull as he remembered all those years ago...

"You see...The Key wasn't always the Finality...it was once a wolf, feral. It was once a man...It was once something other than what it is now..." Tsubasa said, delaying the inevitable divulgence of information.

"And that was...?" Juntara prompted, quickly growing impatient with Tsubasa. He didn't care that Tsubasa was part of his most popular pair, nor that he would be damaging another being. His best friend was in deep danger, and he felt far too helpless, causing his reactions to be violent to get what he could to understand and better analyze the situation.

"The Key...And Kyu...They were...involved, you could say," Tsubasa said, vague and diplomatic as possible, still not wanting to divulge the full truth.

"Involved in what way?" Juntara snarled through a tightly locked jaw, his eyes narrowing behind his sunglasses.

"Deeply?" Tsubasa suggested, trying desperately not to be the one delivering the bad news. Juntara roared and threw Tsubasa to the couch opposite Kyu's body, straddling him and raising an arm as if to punch Tsubasa.

"Stop!" said a soft voice from behind Juntara, the shock of the voice and the hands tugging on Juntara's arm the only things keeping him back. He spotted the flash of purple and turned, blinking in confusion at Kyu.

"Tell me...what's going on?" Juntara asked, his expression and body language softening as he pulled himself off of Tsubasa and pulling Kyu into a protective hug.

"I'm so confused, Kyu...who was that wolf? What did he want with you? Why is he so intent on hurting you? I don't understand," he whispered, stroking the back of Kyu's hand, more to feel the comfort of the soft, silky amethyst fur than to comfort Kyu. Kyu smiled softly and nuzzled Juntara's neck gently, taking in a breath and speaking softly, as if the simple phrase explained everything.

"This love is serious," he whispered, giggling softly before collapsing into a faint.
