#6 of The Surprise

Nic found himself and rushed to be with Axel...

Nic and Axel start things off...

He stared deeply into those ice-blue orbs and became transfixed upon them. Axel, still caught quite off-guard from the kiss, merely nodded a little, not sure if he had heard the younger boy correctly. Nic leaned up and kissed him on the lips again gently, and this woke the wolf out of his trance.

Hurry up and get inside, or you'll get sick!" He wheeled the fox inside, closing the door behind them. "Wait here--I'll go get you a towel," he said, before rushing off. He hurried to the bathroom linen closet to grab a towel, but realized once he opened it that there were none left. Thinking fast, he just grabbed the towel he had used after his shower, which was now dry after being hung over the shower door. That in hand, he hurried back to find the soaked fox standing in the same spot, grinning. "What?" he asked him, suspicious.

I just feel so happy after finally realizing everything..." he replied, taking the towel and drying himself a bit.

I'm still a little confused as to what's really going on," Axel suggested, gesturing toward the couch in the nearby living room. Nic nodded and walked over to it, plopping down in the middle. Axel sat next to him, and was a little surprised when he felt the fox scoot closer to him and place a paw on his thigh. He turned his head to face the smiling fox. "Nic...tell me what's going on here."

They snapped open when he felt not lips against his own, but a paw finger. He blushed intensely and put his paws back in his lap. Axel chuckled a little, tilting Nic's head back up to face him.

I want to kiss you back, but I want to know what's gone on with you to make you do a complete 180 like that first. Maybe then..." his voice trailed off and a light blush crept over his face, barely visible through the silver fur.

Let's say I had always liked you a lot for just an upperclassman helping me out. I felt like we were good friends even though we didn't really hang out ever. Then this year... I guess I started to like you more, but I wasn't really sure why... the point I'm trying to make here is that I was hiding from myself. Deep down, I knew I was gay, so I put up a wall around that part of me, because I didn't want to have to face it. You helped me tear down that wall, and although the side-effects of that were unpleasant to say the least, I have to thank you for it.

I mean... you frightened me a little, too, but it was really a combination of everything. I don't hold anything against you anymore, either, Axel. I know the reason why you were really in the hospital."

Your friend told me, and it was really good of her to do so. I realized then that you weren't just trying to lure me back to you with the flowers." At the wolf's surprised look, he added, "I found out it was you when you dropped one of the pieces of paper with my name on it that one day after chemistry. That was when you no doubt noticed I stopped being so happy and showy. But then...when she told me that about you, I realized just how bad you must have felt about it all... and I still wanted to be done with you for good, but another part of me wouldn't stay quiet, and it started to chip away at the wall I had built. Eventually, I had to talk to Tori, and he said what I couldn't say for myself; he asked me if I loved you. The thoughts started racing through my head, and it was hurting me, so I ran away from him. It was later that I finally broke down that wall and came to you."

Axel murred softly, secretly loving the feeling of being dominated by the fox. He ground up into the fox, already losing himself to his lusty instincts. He slipped his tongue into the other boy's muzzle, which elicited a slight growl from the fox. The growl quickly turned into a cute moan as the boy let the wolf's tongue explore his mouth. He pressed deeper into the kiss, and he ground himself into the wolf again. He dimly realized that his pants were becoming quite uncomfortable. "Axel..." he moaned, and bit the wolf's lip a little. Axel murred and shivered at the bite, and rubbed his growing bulge against Nic's.

I want to...really bad...but it's too soon." He stood up abruptly, and looked down at Nic, who seemed completely bewildered, his dulled senses trying to catch up with what had just happened. Axel used the convenience to adjust himself to make his bulge less noticeable.

I'll call you tomorrow, okay?"

Axel helped him up off the couch and led him to the door. The rain had eased considerably, and they made their way to the car. Nic was by degrees coming to, and the blush was creeping into his face at the same rate. "You'll call me?" he asked, all the events up to that point finally registering.

Maybe we can make it a-" he paused, blushing a little, then continued, "a ... date?"

Like couples have?" The wolf nodded sheepishly. "Yeah!" Nic said, hardly able to contain his excitement. "I think that could be really cool! I mean... I've never been on a date before, but with you-" he cut himself off, a redness creeping up into his ears.

He noticed Nic shrinking into his seat a little, his ears folding down. "What did you do, Nic?" he asked gently.

"Violet wanted me to come back; she probably thought I was going to kill myself," he choked out, pulling his tail around him and stroking it nervously. "There wasn't any time to explain, Axel. I had to go to you, and I couldn't wait. I didn't think about how much they'd worry about me..."

Just explain to them...oh... maybe this is something you can't explain to them. Violet would understand, though, wouldn't she?" Nic nodded a little.

I don't know if I can tell my parents just yet though...I'm pretty sure that they'll be cool with me, but I'm still nervous about it." He let go of Axel and pulled the door handle, starting to get out.

Get some rest--you need it," he said, smiling. Nic smiled back and shut the door, heading to the front door. He turned around before he went in, blowing a kiss back to the wolf.

He reached down and wrapped a paw around his stiff member, groaning a little. He'd never been so horny, and he couldn't just go to sleep with this much discomfort. His mind replayed the scene in his head where he kissed Axel, their bodies pressed together. He started rubbing his sheath over his full pink cock, his body tensing up as he did so. He played with his heavy fox nuts, rolling them around in his paw as he started to branch from memory into fantasy.

He felt something brush against his belly, and looked down to find the wolf's paw slowly pulling his shirt up. He directed his gaze back at Axel, who grinned sheepishly, his blush evident through his silver fur. Nic pulled himself backward, causing the shirt in Axel's grasp to slip off. It got stuck on his head for a moment before coming off completely. Axel tossed the shirt behind him, placing his paws on the fox's chest and murring softly. Nic blushed a little, staring into the icy eyes in front of him. He leaned down and kissed the wolf, nipping on his lower lip as he pulled back. A grin spread over his muzzle and he reached down with his paws to grab hold of Axel's shirt. He tugged it over the wolf's head and threw it aside.

In reply, Axel tugged harder, revealing the fox's bulging boxer shorts. He brought a paw up from the waist of the jeans and gripped the fox's rock hard cock, causing him to gasp in pleasure.

Nic slid down Axel's body slowly and lewdly, tugging off the wolf's pants as he did so. He tossed them aside and fixed his hungry gaze on his next target: those bothersome boxers that remained in between him and his prize. He tore them off, and Axel blushed some, his tail curling around to hide his exposed cock and balls. Nic growled playfully and pushed the tail away. He lowered himself down to the wolf's crotch and nosed under his nuts, inhaling the strong musk there.

Nic murred happily as his efforts were rewarded with more of the wolf's maleness in his muzzle. Axel's musk hung strongly inside his mouth, and Nic could smell it and taste it at the same time. He eagerly swirled his tongue around the stiff member, and Axel moaned in ecstasy. "Oah...Nic... so good..." was all he could manage to say through his deep panting. He started to thrust gently into the fox's muzzle, his arousal now full and wanting more. Nic murred around the cock in his mouth as Axel began to muzzlefuck him gently at first, with an increasing pace. He did his best to take all of the large dick in his muzzle like a good foxboy.

He came hard into Nic's muzzle and howled up at the ceiling. The fox did his best to swallow shot after shot of the thick wolf cum, but some dribbled out the sides of his muzzle, beading on his whiskers and matting his fur. Axel, still panting, pulled the smaller boy up to him, licking his muzzle clean and finishing the embrace in a gentle, deep kiss.

He stretched out and quickly fell asleep.

Before he left the room, however, he lit a candle for good measure as well as to help eliminate some of the scent.

He brushed his tail out nicely, wanting to look nice for his 'date.' Then he remembered one last thing he wanted to have to complete his look. He went over to his nightstand and grabbed the silver earring off it. He smiled as the light coming in the window twinkled on the metal. He hadn't really thought he'd ever wear it, or really look at it on purpose again, but now that everything was sorted out in his head, it didn't feel quite right to leave it there anymore. He put it on his left ear, the only pierced one.

Violet tackled the small red fox half out of anger and frustration, and half out of relief and happiness. She pinned him easily to the floor and sat on him, her face inches from his. He cracked a nervous smile and blushed a little. "Where the HELL were you, you idiot!?" She hissed, and the effect was more frightening than a full on shout.

His sister huffed a sigh and got up off him, then sat on his bed. He followed suit and sat next to her, avoiding her direct gaze. "Okay, Vi. Last night, part of me realized something...and I took your advice. You were right about me being a coward, and so I did the bravest thing I thought of. I went to go see Axel," he finished in a low voice, not quite a whisper but almost quieter.

And is there a reason you couldn't have told me that last night?"

I needed to go tell him how I felt."

I'm glad you finally figured things out for yourself...but what am I supposed to tell Mom and Dad?" Nic shuffled his feet nervously and fidgeted with his paws in his lap. "Don't worry about it kid. I'll think of something. I'm not an artist for nothing--creativity flows naturally with me. Hey...why do you look all nice?"

Violet giggled and stood up, patted her brother on the head, and left his room.

His mom didn't need to know the whole truth, after all. He'd tell her later, when it was more definite that things were going well with him and Nic.

"You won't be out too late, will you? I need the car tonight honey. I've got a date with Jim." Axel rolled his eyes. "Don't be like that Axel. I know you're not too fond of him, but I think he's a really nice lion. The least you could do," she huffed, "is roll your eyes elsewhere."

A split second later, another line picked up, and Axel recognized Nic's voice. "Got it Mom." Axel heard a click as a phone was hung up, then Nic spoke. "Hey there wolfy," he murred.

I'm bored. You wanna do anything?" he asked, a grin spread wide across his muzzle.

"Uh... what are we going to do?"

After Nic agreed, he told the fox that he'd be there in about ten minutes or so.

Axel scurried back into the house and rummaged through the fridge. The gears in his head were spinning fast, and he grabbed things from the fridge fast enough that he barely knew what they were. It was sort of like his instinct as a culinary hunter. He balanced speed and quality as he prepared several gourmet sandwiches. He didn't want to make Nic wait too long. He could picture the fox pacing around anxiously as he waited, and the wolf chuckled to himself when he thought about how cute that was.

There wasn't any juice in the fridge, so with some distain, Axel tore open a pack of fruit punch Kool-Aid and mixed it with cold water in a pitcher. He dropped a couple handfuls of ice cubes in and sealed the pitcher with a plastic lid. Not bad for short notice, but if he was going to make his fox wait; he might as well make him wait just a little bit longer. Any good meal needed to have a little more to it than this one had currently. And Axel wanted to have a nice...time (he was reluctant to use the word 'picnic,' since it got on his nerves) with Nic, so he'd need something more. "I hope he likes cheese," he said as he sliced some sharp cheddar and stole some crackers from the pantry.

After carefully setting the basket down in the backseat, Axel checked the time. Nearly twenty minutes had gone by, and it would take at least another five to get to Nic's house. The wolf heaved a sigh and started the car. Nic wasn't really the type to get upset over little things anyway, so he was still in the safe. When he pulled into the driveway at Nic's house, the fox was sprawled out on the lawn with his eyes closed. He must have been asleep, since he didn't stir much when the car pulled in. Axel got out and left the car door open so he wouldn't make more noise by closing it. He stalked over to the spot where the fox lay quietly napping on the grass. He stood over him with one foot on each side of him, then he leaned down and poked the fox's nose gently.

His muzzle spread into a grin when he caught that familiar scent on the breeze. "Hi there. You're late," he said, smiling.

He ruffled Nic's hair and tweaked one of his ears.

I didn't mean to--I actually fell asleep before your ten minutes were up anyway."

Sleep is overrated. Where are we going anyway?"

I think you'll like where I have in mind."

Nic sighed and sat back down in his seat. He was looking out the window so intently that his nose bumped against it once when the car hit a slight hole in the road. Axel laughed, and Nic blushed hotly and gave up on trying to figure out where they were headed. He made it a point to sulk with all the force he had, however.

I'm pretty sure this is private property, Axel."

There's an old house way out here that used to belong to my grandma. It got left to us, but it's in such terrible condition that we can't really do much with it. But that's not really where we're going. You'll find out soon enough, silly."

I'm tired of waiting to get to our 'mystery destination.'" Axel just laughed and kept driving. It seemed to Nic like the wolf was driving even slower just to spite his impatience. Finally, the car slowed to a stop, and Axel pulled the keys out of the ignition. Nic got out of the car with a suspicious look on his face.

Then he turned and smirked at the wolf as he emerged from the car. "Thought you said you wanted to wait...but this appears to be 'scenic parking' if you catch my drift."

I didn't bring you here for that!"

What, then?"

I thought you might like going for a ... picnic. Since its so nice out today and all..." he trailed off, a little embarrassed. He started to wonder if this had been that great of an idea after all.

Picnic." He laughed as he found his answer in the wolf's half-wince at the word. "That's really cute. But where did you plan on having it? There aren't really any places to sit, with how thick all the undergrowth here is." He was right. All around them were tall trees, which blocked out most of the light so that only little speckles of sunlight could be seen dancing across the ground. Where trees weren't growing, there were bushes and woody plants everywhere.

He turned and started off into the woods, and Nic was quick to follow. There seemed to be the faintest traces of a path, but it hadn't been used in quite some time. Nic kept quiet, guessing that there was some kind of surprise at the end. But as the path wound on, Nic grew unsure of how great the surprise would be. The scenery seemed the same as when they had started, and it wasn't changing much, except that it seemed to be getting even thicker. Nic was about to voice his concern when Axel stopped abruptly. Nic bumped into him, since he had been following closely and didn't have time to stop.

Nic peered around him, half expecting something different than the rest of the forest, but he was disappointed. In front of Axel was a huge thicket of bushes that had grown and intertwined with each other. Axel set the basket down on the ground and got down on all fours. He pushed the basket along the ground in front of him, and disappeared through the thick leaves. Nic did the same, trailing behind with his curiosity piqued.

His eyes adjusted to the new light and Nic took in his surroundings. They were in a meadow clearing within the forest. Though there were trees and bushes closing off the meadow, they were spaced far enough from the meadow to let the sun shine through the opening in the canopy of leaves. The grass of the clearing was a lush verdant carpet under the fox's padded feet. A creek flowed through the clearing, and widened in the middle to become a sizeable pond with lily pads and lotuses floating on the surface. Brightly colored fish swam about underneath.

"I don't know how long it's been here, but my grandpa showed it to me when I was a pup. It's sort of like a family secret I guess. But I wanted to share it with you."

"But... triangles?"

Thank you Axel," he murred. The wolf laid down next to him and cuddled him gently. It wasn't long before they were both asleep.

We should go."

I'll get the basket, and you can start on the way back to the car. You remember the way, right?"

No, I don't think they'd mind. I'll just send a text to Vi and she can take care of it for me. I'll just have to pay her back for covering for me lately. I have no idea what she told my parents as an excuse for me over the last week. But what exactly did you have in mind for us tonight?"

Nothing serious, ok? But I'm not saying I plan on keeping my paws to myself..." He started the car and managed to get it turned around and back onto the street they'd come off of earlier that day. By the time the sun had finally sunk below the horizon, they arrived at Axel's house.

Wanna see what's on tv?" Axel asked. Nic nodded in approval and they sat down on the couch. Axel turned off the lights in the room to watch whatever might be on. He grabbed the remote and started flipping through channels. After a minute or so of fruitless surfing, Nic pushed the wolf's paw down and batted the remote to the floor.

I don't really care what's on..."he said slyly, turning on the wolf. Axel grinned as the fox got on all fours and slowly crept over him until Axel was underneath him. "I think you need to be rewarded for giving me such an amazing day, and I'll repay you the best I can..." he said with a little mrowl.

Axel's ear twitched at something, but it was quickly blocked out by the priority of the moment at hand. He continued to make out with the fox just as fiercely as before. Then something went wrong. The lights suddenly flicked on, and Axel saw the figures of his mother and her date standing in the doorway.
