Alt furry history after Biological Synthetics Inc.
Once upon a time, a few hundred years ago, we were all stuffed
together on one single little blue-green planet orbiting a little
yellow star on a little spiral arm of the galaxy. Yes, cubs, just one
planet, because we hadn't figured out space travel yet. I know that's
hard to understand now, but I heard it from an old Owl, who heard it
from an older Hawk, who heard it from an even older Eagle.
And don't think he just made it up, because everyone knows
Birds remember stuff a long time, but aren't so good at inventing
stories. We foxes are good at that. That long ago, furfolk weren't even
the dominant species on that planet! That's right, it was those apelike
things that don't even have fur!
They're not so important now, but back then they were actually
Top Predator, because they were the ones with Sapience. Our distant
ancestors didn't have it yet, and we actually owe them our lives. No,
it's not Heresy, it's History. It was Mark Harris and Tom Warner, Human
Beings who started fooling around with our seed DNA, who mixed their
kind with dumb animals and made us CarnoSapients.
They were actually just trying to make their lives better.
Everyone knows that's pretty abnormal for Humans, who spend most of
their time trying to kill each other or thinking some other human's
going to kill them. Their own friggin' species! OK, we kill and eat
lizards, snakes, little mice and birds, but that's dumb animals, prey
species. And we have to watch out for Wolves especially in packs, but
we've worked it out with most of them, we all just get along most of
the time.
Mark and Tom made medicines, then diddled their DNA with
animals to make workers who never had civil rights. We've got forced
servitude, but it's a legal punishment for crimes such as ... Right,
cubs. Stealing and hurting otherfurs. And it's part of the justice
system, limited time based on the severity of the crime. We don't just
grab someone, chain them up, and beat them because we can.
Come over here, Alice! Now, you wench! This fem Rabbit 'forgot'
to pay for her new dress at Furmall, and then tried to hide it. Now
she's my slave, for another four years, five months, and change. It's
wrong to let the store owners have her, they'd be cruel. I'm trained
to handle slavegirls, loss of civil rights is their punishment, not
harsh whipping.
There are cubs and young teens here, so Alice has some body
covering in addition to the fur. You can see her hindpaws, legs,
thighs, rumpcurves. That little puff Rabbits call a tail. But she's
wearing something like a brief swimsuit, covering her adult parts.
Narrow cloth covers part of her hips, but you can see the slave brand.
Stand up straight, Slave! You know you're not allowed modesty!
Bare tummy and back, a little bust cover, lifts and separates
for your Master. Lovely white tummy fur, light brown back fur, and
those floppy ears. And the black leather collar, wrist and ankle cuffs
are quite attractive. Bare shoulders, arms, forepaws. Don't need that
fancy dress now, do you?! Hmm?
Boys and girls, Alice is now just a slavegirl, property the
state lets me manage. She's been physically and mentally punished for
her mistake, and I'm responsible for her further punishment, but just
to make her pay me back for taking care of the cost of the dress she
tore trying to escape the store's security. And court costs, and her
incarceration. And her feed and upkeep in my home.
There's more to keeping a slave, you'll learn when you get
older. For now, just treat her as a house servant without rights. Don't
hurt her, an openpaw slap is OK, let me know if she does wrong. I
*will* punish you, Alice! See her shudder, she knows what I mean!
Everyfur here but you is a freefur, a young Master or Mistress, and I
expect you to remember the proper respect!
Now go finish the morning's cleaning duties. When you're done
you get breakfast. Dismissed.
Where was I with the history, furs? Oh, Mark and Tom, workers.
They made servants next, clerical and unskilled ones, household,
personal, and uh 'adult' servants. Just enough intelligence to obey,
and treated 'em worse than Alice, they were animals with limited minds,
not fursons being punished for crime.
Somewhere along the line of making more-intelligent servants,
humans made a critical mistake, one that let the, well, slaves realize
they were being held. And how their minds were controlled. And that
there was something else to life, their lives, than simple mindless
obedience. We became self-aware. Sapient. CarnoSapiens.
OK, there was a war. Battle for the Planet of the Fursons. They
killed most of us fighting, and the rest as threats to their survival.
But the DNA in the labs survived, and some slave furs managed to keep
it, and grow it, and raise fursons more intelligent than themselves.
Us.
