It is November 12 2013 and today is the day i die. My name is Anu Nocturn, I live in Dubuque Iowa with my room mate and best friend Lucas Vale. We go to school at the Dubuque International School of Arts, and this is the beginning of the end.

*BEEP* BEEP* BEEP*

"Hey Anu wake up where gonna be late again."

"Huh what time is it."

"Its eight thirty the shuttle leaves 20 minutes."

"Shit why the hell didn't you wake me up Lucas."

"Because its fun to watch you run around the house like an idiot."

"Damn you if I wasn't a hurry I would kick your ass for that remark"

"Get in the shower I already got your uniform ready"

10 minutes later

"Damn Anu now were gonna be late the shuttle is gonna leave before we even get to the station"

"That's ok I'll just use my Shadow Dash to get us there"

"Grab my hand Lucas"

"Fine but you know hate doing this. Not only is it disorienting, but it leaves you completely wiped out."

"Ready"

"no"

Anu closes his eyes and taps in to the darkness withing his and Lucas's heart and allows it to envelope them completely then begins to run.

3 minutes later

Phew made it that was a close one. (Anu thought)

"hey Lucas can you help me to the bench I'm exhausted"

Lucas just stares at Anu.

"Hey can you hear me Lucas."

Blinking to clear his vision Lucas replies, " ya sure"

"So what where you staring at Lucas?"

"Its weird every now and then when I look at you I see a fox morph but the moment i blink your back to your normal self."

"Man your crazy, as much as I would love to be a morph you know its not possible for a pure with absolutely no x-geans to even become a morph."

Anu looks out the shuttles window sadly.

"Hey Lucas do you see those two Morphs on the roof over there" Anu says while he looks out the window of the shuttle.

"Ya what about them?"

"I can see their auras from here."

"What, but I thought you can only see auras from a close proximity?"

"That's true normally, but their auras are massive and very corrupt. Its weird the one at the ledge of the building it looks as if its aura pooling in his hand. Oh shit! get to cover i think he is gonna....."

Just then an explosion happened causing Anu to black out.

3 minutes later

Weird I feel so light. As Anu thought this he looks down and sees a piece of re-bar sticking out where his heart would be.

How am I Alive

"Your not I just haven't reaped your soul yet"

Looking up Anu sees an angle with black wings

"so what are you a grim reaper? Your not quite what I expected."

"No my name is Azeal and I'm your Angel of Death fortunately for you it is not your destined time unlike your friend over there. He manage to literally send his Angle of Death flying and is on his way over here. He can probably see me now so that gives me an idea of what he is. So I'm gonna give you a choice you can die and I reap you or..."

"Or what?"

"I could bring you back as a Grave Digger"

Anu looks at Azeal as if he is crazy. "you want to bring me back as a what?"

Pinching his nose Azeal explains, "A Grave Digger is a type of Immortal that has been brought back to life by an Angle of Death. Your called that because traditionally grave diggers would dig there own grave for there former body. Now i need your answer Anu."

"Whats the catch. There has to be some price to being brought back to life."

"Huhhh" Azeal looking tired, "The catch is you give up your old life take a new name and never reveal yourself to your former family that and I lose my physical body for by my calculations 30 years being you where my first charge no extra time will be added on thankfully."

"Sounds like I get the better end of the deal. I'll take you up on your offer make me into this grave digger thing."

"Ok first thing first we have to get you off this re-bar some how. Its made from steel so I cant touch it."

"Maybe I can help with that." Lucas says as he limps over to Anu and Azeal. "I heard the agreement you two made. I think my Nightmare Claws will do the trick."

"Your what?" Azeal says as he is surprised the eminence amount of dark energy coating Lucas's left arm.

Lucas claws touched the re-bar and it atomized on contact,"what the that has never happened before?" he exclaimed

"You idiot you not a mortal any more using an aura base attack with out any training on how control yourself is dangerous." Azeal smacks Lucas across back of the head. "You could of permanently killed Anu. He needs his body to contain his soul and to act as a template for his new body. Without his old one I would be forced to reap him got it. Now lift him of whats left of that re-bar so i can get to work."

"Ok sorry i didn't know I was any different from before." He says as he pulls Anu screaming from the re-bar.

"Ok Anu now this is gonna hurt for a second. Hey Lucas, over there is a magnocar once there you'll notice the letter GA glowing on it open the door and bring it a round don't bother trying to starting it wont have an ignition. Its for official Changeling business its meant to get us to the academy."

"Got it" Lucas runs over to the cars parked a cross the street and looks for the car marked with a GA.

"lets begin" Azeal stabs his arm into the hole where the re-bar once was and begins chanting, "amni la na doci sko kmvl dmol la na getsu no reva rstorae"

"ebem no res la va ka detsu" he pulls his arm out as a flame consumes his wings and throw a black orb into the air inside is a human body slowly coming into existence.

"Strange the Orb of New life should of faded..." just then the Orb floating in the air solidified and and shattered into millions of black pedals leaving on the ground a black fox morph instead of a human body. "Impossible he should be a human type changeling not a kitsune"
