Part Two: Touching
#2 of Rivadh and The Dragon
Varcifon huffed as he dragged his soaked form from the lake, "I still cannot
understand why you did not just use a Spell on the bird."
Rivadh, also soaked, dragged her gear behind her as she came out of the
waters, "Because staying on your back takes too much focus to allow me to cast. And what
would you have done if the lightning hit you instead of the bird?"
The Dragon paused and then huffed again, slumping down and inspecting the
deep cuts in his flank.
Rivadh sighed, "Augh, that thing got you good..."
"Good is not a term I would use for this injury," the dragon hissed, the pain turning
to anger.
She thumped his nose, making him snort, "Don't get snappy at me, Lay on your
side, I'll fix it."
"Are you sure your healing abilities will work on me?" He grumped, the lack of
confidence audible in his tone as he shifted onto his uninjured side, moving his leg back to
bare the gashes.
She nodded, "I've been practicing." With a soft sigh and a bit of focus, she slowly
and carefully healed the cuts one at a time, the dragon wincing and hissing at the sensation.
"You never said it would sting," he groused.
"It has to hurt if it's got to heal," she nodded and gently ran her fingers over the
healed hide. Varcifon Twitched as she did, grunting a bit and pulling his leg up slightly. "Oh?
Are you ticklish?"
"I most certainly am not!" he protested. But, never one to believe such defensive
words, Rivadh reached in and started tickling her fingers at the dragon's smooth flank. He leg
came up like a shot and nearly knocked her back into the water, but she moved just in time
and laughed.
"You -are- Ticklish!"
He huffed and relaxed a bit, "A little. But do be careful there... that is a sensitive
area..."
Rivadh blinked and looked and then she saw what he'd meant, along his
underbelly, right by the powerful hind limbs was an odd ridge. She blinked and then
blushed, "OH my... is that..."
He nodded and moved his leg modestly, "It is... thusly why I said, be careful..."
She nodded and blushed more looking away from the area and fidgeting, "Ah, I'm
sorry."
"Nothing to be sorry for. You were healing my cuts," he purred and smiled his
toothy grin. "Do you want to go back and finish off those eggs that dwarf asked you to
destroy?"
She blinked and gasped, "oh, ah. Yes... that's probably a good idea..."
The hour was late when Rivadh awoke from a dream she could not remember, but
she knew it was a good dream... somehow. Her bedroll was a good distance from the
Sleeping Dragon. His large chest rising and falling as he rumbled contently in his sleep,
sprawled out on his side. She smiled at the almost comical posture he slept in, his head lay
almost completely back while his body was on it' side at the shoulders, and on his back at
his hindquarters, back legs sort of waving in midair. His tail was curled back up near his
shoulders and his wings were trapped between himself and the wall. She smiled and then a
thought crept into the back of her mind.
Rivadh was young by Draenei standards. In the few calm days before the Fleeing
of Draenor, she'd remembered several of the girls her age gossiping about their Male
counterparts. She'd heard all sorts of descriptions, and so in her head she had a rather vivid
image of what a male should look like, but she truly had never seen for herself. And as she
mused about this fact that little thought spoke up... whispering to her from somewhere in a
dark corner of her mind, "here's your chance...'
She shook her head and blushed! Varcifon was not male Draenei, he was a
dragon! And from his reaction before he would probably be rather cross with her for any
unwarranted examinations of his physique. But... the Dragon -was- asleep... and she knew
that nothing short of a stick of dynamite or a large cooking slab of talbuk would rouse him.
With a nervous swallow she crept from her bedroll and shuffled on quiet hooves over to the
dragon's side. He was sound asleep, rumbling in his dragony way as his back toes curled
and uncurled slowly. She figured he was dreaming, but about what she could not really
guess... Though she did imagine he would be dreaming of food. She bit her lip and
approached his back half, looking at the exposed underbelly in its pale blue tones. She could
see that little ridge, and she blushed a bit more, peeking over him slowly as she tried to get
a closer look...
Varcifon snorted, and kicked a leg, making her jump a little. He calmed and
rumbled again, and she pushed her heart back down into her chest from her throat. Watching
his head she slowly touched her fingers to his belly. Another muffled grunt and then a rumble
again as she smiled and turned to watch her hand. Inching closer she eyed the ridge and slid
her fingers closer and closer. The soft rumble changed pitch, deepening into a low purr as
the strange ridge moved! She blinked and inched her fingers closer to it as it seemed to get
bigger. As her index finger approached the edge of the part where the ridge formed from his
underbelly, she noticed a bit of an opening. With a curious blink she pressed her finger
against the edge and the ridge swelled more. She watched in awe as the dragon gave an odd
growl in his sleep, the purple netherdrake shuddering slightly as the opening she had
discovered... opened a bit. She gasped and pulled her hand back as something was coming
from the odd opening. A mix of fear and curiosity raged within the young Shamaness as the
dragon's maleness greeted her slowly. She blinked, finding her once vivid mental image
shattered as the swollen ridge opened more, the odd sight becoming a full on spectacle as
she gasped and covered her mouth in shock. She blinked and peered, eyeing the thing that
rested on Varcifon's belly before her.
Seemingly half-transparent, like his powerful wings, she could still make out his belly under
the wide swath of dragon flesh. The Dragon's arousal also gave off a faint glow, similar to
parts of his wings and his stripes in low light. She blushed again and her hand left her chest
slowly as she reached out... Awe and confusion teasing her now for her foolishness as she
reached and reached. Her fingers found a moist warmth as she boggled, running her fingers
over the underside as she touched her companion in the closest way. Under her fingers she
felt a heavy pulse. Instantly she recognized Varcifon's heartbeat and she watched in awe as
the semi-soft organ became more and more rigid, pushing up against her had and it lifted off
his belly. She shivered in amazement at her discovery, but then Varcifon shifted and grunted.
She gasped and took her hand back and dashed for her bedroll leaping into it and closing her
eyes, trying to look asleep as her heart raced in her chest... He did not wake, but she dared
not try to continue...
"Mmm that was a good breakfast..." She smiled and nodded to the dragon who
happily gnawed on the femur of the Talbuk he'd caught the day before, stripping the last bits
of meat from it. Rivadh had acclimated to his eating habits quite quickly, and he was happy
to share a section or two of his kills with her to let her enjoy her favorite meat ever. She
nodded and looked at the content dragon, "Did you sleep well?" she asked.
"Mrrf?" she blinked and pulled the bone from his mouth, "Sleep? Oh... ah... yes...
I had a... strange dream..." he said, looking a little nervous.
Rivadh blushed, but calmed herself quickly, hiding her cheek in one hand and
looking curiously interested, "Oh? What do dragons dream about?"
He nodded, "food, usually... and... other things."
"Like what?" she smiled impishly.
She had never Seen Varcifon blush, but the effect was obvious as his purple
cheeks turned a brilliant shade of violet, the underside of his neck shifting from a pale blue to
an vibrant teal, "Ah... well... things that dragons... do."
She giggled and titled her head, "Are you embarrassed? It's okay to tell me that
you had a naughty dream. I have a few of them myself every now and again."
Varcifon for his part was shocked at the open admission, and he calmed his
blush, "N-no... it was nothing like that. Just... I'd rather not say." He sighed, looking away.
Rivadh lost her smile, fearing she'd upset him and she stepped over and hefted
the Talbuk Femur, stepping away with it quickly and drawing his attention.
"What are you doing?" he blinked.
She smirked and turned waving the bone at him, "Come on... come get it... you
want the bone? You want it?" she laughed a little and almost taunted him with it.
He raised one eye ridge and narrows his glowing eyes, "I am not a domesticated
Pet... And you have stolen my snack."
She grinned and put her hand on her hips, "Oh? And what are you willing to do to
get it back?" she Teased him and Stepped back.
"You're playing a dangerous game," he churred, the amusement in his voice
apparent as he slowly got to his feet.
"Uh oh? Is the big bad dragon going to eat me instead?" she laughed and backed
up a bit.
"Eat? No... Tickle... possibly," he bared his teeth and lunged, but she stepped
forward ducking under him and coming out under his wing and well away from his grip.
"You'll have to catch me first!" and with that she bolted out the tunnel and laughed
the entire way, waving the bone after her.
