Well a close run race, but saving None it is.

"Well little one, what is it to be?" The dragon asked sliding his huge head closer his eyes filled with mischief, "Oh you want something, I can taste your desire."

Jarus took a step back and glanced behind him into the cave, he could see the bear sitting oblivious alone in the cave. There was no sign of Kenia.

Wanting to beg the dragon to return his friends the horse turned and opened his mouth, however, he didn't get to speak as the dragon shook his head. "No, I can't return your friends, the snake made his deal, their fate is now in their own claws or paws. Now ask me what you really want to ask."

Narrowing his eyes Jarus squared his shoulders replying, "You can read my mind, you know what I want now tell me the price before I decide to take your offer."

A loud chuckle rumbled around the cave entrance as the dragon grinned widely. "Ah, smart pony. Well for breaking a curse that powerful it'll take some pretty big sacrifice. Ah, I know, I will release the manticore from his curse. However, you will never see your family ever again, or contact them in any way. How about it pony? That's a cheap price, right? Never see people you don't remember to save a friend cursed for eternity."

Pausing to think on it, the horse had to admit, he wanted to see his family, however, that desire seemed selfish when he could save a friend. "Ok, I agree, set None free."

The dragon laughed and danced, "it's a deal and to show there is no ill intent or hard feelings I will grant you a little gift for free, the power to heal your friend." The dragon took a deep breath and then blew his warm breath over the pony.

Jarus took a step back as he felt his fur tingle as knowledge crept into his brain, suddenly it was so simple. He knew how to channel his energy to heal the bear. Delighted with the deal he mane he whinnied happily as the power inside him grew.

The dragon danced and laughed and then suddenly leapt into the air and with a flap of his wings he was gone. Jarus didn't spend any time wondering where he had gone he rushed back into the cave. Placing both paws on the bear's face he closed his eyes and channelled his newfound gift. Gasping in delight as the bear's wounds began to heal right in front of him.

Aleoric moaned softly as he felt his bones knit and his swelling reduce. he looked at the pony in wonder and asked. "How?"

"A golden dragon... gave me the power to heal." The pony replied, feeling slightly silly saying it out loud.

The bear's face fell and his expression was one of concern, "you made a deal with a chaos dragon to heal me?"

"No he gave me the power to heal you for free, I made the deal to release None," the pony replied as he sat down next to the bear as he added. "he said I had to sacrifice, so I'm never allowed to see my family now. Not bad really, None is free you are healed and I never see my parents, who I don't remember or have any way to find. I think I got the better end of that..." His voice tailed off as the bear shook his head. "What?"

"I... chaos dragons feed on discord, death and misery. Their wishes always end in some poor innocent losing their life." Aleoric whispered, knowing the dragon had given the pony the power to heal so the bear could break his heart with the news of what he had done. Changing the topic he stood up looking around. "Where are Kenia and Runo?"

Jarus quickly explained what had happened between Runo and Kenia, then how the dragon had made them both disappear.

"Oh bugger, they are in great danger. I, we need to do something." The bear grabbed his tome and began to look through hoping to find some spell that might return his friends to him. Grateful that the pony had forgotten the previous line of conversation. He had realised that Jarus was about to ask him what he thought the dragon would do. None was surrounded by orcs and with the curse broken, his godlike powers may be removed too. He also knew that the dragon had left to ensure that Jarus never broke his end of the deal. Those poor innocent ponies, he silently vowed to never let the pony know the deal he had made would lead to the dragon slaughtering his entire family.

Runo opened his eyes and yawned, strange he didn't remember falling asleep. He stretched out his paws and blinked his eyes, he could see two red fox arms and smiled thinking that Kenia was laying with him. He reached his arm down to scratch an itch in his leg... his eyes went wide as one of the paws in his line of sight moved at the exact moment his arm did. Then he suddenly realised... he had LEGS!

The former naga looked down at his naked vulpine body and screamed. Scrambling away he tried to stand up, his legs felt strange, they were so static. How did bipeds work these things. Just one hinge at the knees, he pushed himself up with his paws, and then fell back onto his ass with a cry. He glanced around the room he was in and his newly warmed blood ran cold as he recognised his old home. As his mind raced he heard another voice crying out, it sounded vaguely familiar and yet not so.

Pushing himself back to his feet he tried to take a step, bending his legs proved perilous, he bent too far and ended up on the floor again. Settling for crawling he moved slowly towards the door. Eventually he opened it to find a strangely familiar naga body lying face down on the floor, waving his arms, "Who's there?" the naga whimpered in a voice that Runo couldn't help but recognise.

"Kenia?"

"Lying bastard snake?" The former fox asked, saving Runo the energy of wondering if this extreme situation had remedied the fox's feeling of betrayal.

"Yes... only not so much snake anymore." Runo replied walking stiff legged over and trying to haul the snake up. "Stick your trunk out more so you can balance on it."

The naga wavered as he reared up, the unsteady fox tried to hold him up. "You... I... the dragon, seems to have switched our bodes and what's worse... this is my home."

"Your home run by your unkillable father who is determined to sacrifice you, that home? " Kenia asked in a hushed voice and as he got a nod in reply he added. "And I'm in your body and neither of us is armed... brilliant. Why the hell did he do this?"

"Something about walking a mile or thousand on each others paws." Runo muttered suddenly unable to look the newly naga'd fox in the eye.

"Why would he do that?" Kenia asked his eyes fixed on his former body and his former lover all in one.

"Well, he said it would... bring you back to me." The former fox muttered and then looked around. "We should go, looks like it's just before dawn we need to get out of here before we get caught and you get sacrificed and I get executed."

"Bring me BACK to you?" The naga snarled and glided forward on his coils like a natural. "You think that any of this will bring me back to you, after what you did?"

"Hey... I was desperate, I'm sorry. I just couldn't stop myself, you don't know what it's like having someone in your thrall...it's powerful. I didn't do much just a little suggestion that you might want me to put both my cocks into you. That's not that bad, I mean we were already enjoying each other. I just wanted to enjoy you fully." Runo muttered still unable to look his former lover in the face. "I could have had you do pretty much anything, a little one time suggestion, just to see if we enjoyed it, where's the harm?"

"Oh well, in that case please feel free to hypnotise me into doing any sex acts you want then." Snapped Kenia with disgust turning away from the fox and accidentally smacking him with his tail. Sending the vulpine sprawling into a table, which shattered.

Kenia looked back a hint of apology in his eyes, as the two both opened their mouths to speak they heard the unmistakeable shout of a guard raising the alarm. They had a few seconds to decide what they should do.
