Bryan, a young tiger, was struggling on how to reveal to his friend Jacen, a wolf around a year older, how he felt about him. After slipping his friend a note describing his feelings, Jacen invited him over to his house where they indulged in some fore play and all right I'll say it...they had sex. There it's out there. We left them on Jacen's bed at the end of our last story as they fell asleep. Let's see what kind of mischief they get into now?
Brian stirred as the smell of cooked bacon and toast wafted up to him. Shifting to take in more of the smell, he smiled as he thought back to the dream he had last night. That incredible dream. In it he had slept with Jacen. His best friend who he'd found out he had feelings for that last summer. He only wished that he were still dreaming, so he could relive it. Yawning, Brian stretches his arms and gets up heading to the bathroom to relieve himself. Flushing the toilet, he washes up in the sink and looks in the mirror at his disheveled hair. He notices his hair tie is missing and sighs. Taking a brush he brushes his hair back and starts to get another hair tie from the drawer, only to stop and realize, there is no drawer below the sink. He looks around him and sees that he's in Jacen's bathroom, completely naked.
Suddenly his mind is brought up full throttle and he remembers what had happened and he panics. What was he going to do? He had no idea what time it was, his parent's were going to kill him for being so late and not calling to check in with them, and he had just slept with his best friend. He was in such a muddled and confused mess that he wasn't watching his feet and tripped on the rug in the bathroom, falling into the tub and banging his shoulder. Crying out, he grabs his arm and starts to cry, cursing his luck and hoping his shoulder didn't break.
Downstairs in the kitchen Jacen heard Brian's yell and rushed up to check on him. He burst's into the bathroom and finds a crying Brian in the tub, a bruise forming on his shoulder. " Oh Brian! What happened sweetie?" Jacen exclaims as he pulls his friend into a hug and kissing his shoulder.
Sobbing quietly, Brian looks up into Jacen's eyes. "It wasn't a dream was it?" He asked Jacen quietly. Smiling, Jacen just leans down and kisses his silly tiger. "Did that feel like it was a dream?" He asks as he pulls away. The look on Brian's face was all the answer he needed. Kissing him again, he helps the young tiger out of the bathtub and turns to get a soothing pad for his shoulder. It was then that Brian remembered that he wasn't wearing any clothes. Blushing, he pulls down a towel and wraps it around his waist.
Handing Bryan a gel pad, Jacen smiles when he sees the towel. "Aw, were still not shy after last night are we?" He says a sly look on his face. Blushing slightly, Bryan turns his head, his eyes falling on the clock hanging on the hall wall. Bryan gasps and runs back to Jacen's room. Surprised and worried, Jacen follows his lover, finding him trying to put on his pants. "What's the matter?" He says concerned, thinking he did something wrong.
"My parents are going to kill me!!!!! I never called them when I got from school to tell them I'd be here. Oh man." Bryan was frantic; he hadn't done something like that for years. And now he was going to be in trouble big time. He stops his struggles with his clothes when he hears Jacen giggling behind him in the doorway. "What's so funny?" He demands, his chest puffing out.
Trying to control himself, Jacen takes a deep steadying breath. "I took care of that earlier, love. While you were still asleep I called them to let them know where you were, and why you weren't at home last night." Bryan couldn't believe his ears.
"You mean you told them what...that we...that we've had..." Bryan was now flustered, and could not grasp the concept of what was happening.
Seeing his new lover so flustered he rushed to his side before he could collapse. "No, of course I didn't you silly tiger. If I had you still wouldn't be here. I just told them that we had a project that needed finishing and that you had forgotten to tell them before you fell asleep while working. They said that was fine." He turns his tigers face to his and kisses him. Smiling, Bryan hugs his love and nuzzles his ear.
"Thank you Wulfy. I really appreciate that."
"Wulfy? So we're already moving to pet names now are we?" Jacen states and licks Bryan's cheeks.
"Well I've been wanting to call you that for some time now..." The very comment making Bryan blush under his fur.
Raising an eyebrow Jacen looks his lover over, taking in his fine slim and muscular body. "Is that so? Well then I'll just have to start calling you stripes then won't I?" In response to the name, Bryan snuggles closer to his love, purring into his chest. "Well I see we have a winner then. Now..." He pulls the tiger away from his chest, gathering Bryan's clothes, smiling. "...How about something to eat."
After a dinner of eggs and toast, they went and sat in the front room to watch some TV. With an arm around his striped companion, Jacen begins to flip through the channels, trying to find something interesting, till Bryan catches something. "Wait, go back. What was that?" Going back to the channel he stated, they sat and stared dumbfounded as they saw a Weasel and a Fox going at it, and both of them were males. They couldn't believe their luck. They had just stumbled upon a gay furry yiffy channel.
"No way. You got to be kidding me. What channel is this?" Jacen states and goes to the channel guide. When he looks at the channel number he gasps.
"What is it sweetie?" Bryan asks, leaning in to see.
"This is one of the cannels my dad watches when he thinks no one is looking..." Smiling like a maniac, he turns back to the TV and starts to laugh. "Do you know what this means?" Bryan, completely out of the loop on this one just shakes his head. "It means that if we tell my dad about us, he'll have to accept it as it is because of what he watches when he's alone! I can't believe it!"
Bryan just stared. Not really sure what was going on, but he did understand the intention of coming out to his new lovers dad. "A-are you sure? Don't you think we should wait a little before we tell him?" Bryan was starting to get worked up again, his eyes darting between the TV and Jacen. What if Jacen's dad never lets them see each other? He might transfer Jacen to another school, and Bryan couldn't handle the thought of losing Jacen after just having gotten together with him. The worry in Bryan's voice brings Jacen out of his stupor. Looking at his lover's reaction, he hugs him tight to his chest.
"Shhh...it's okay, I won't do anything with out you giving your ok. It's all right love, I won't tell anyone till your ready." He slowly starts to rock back and forth with Bryan in his arms, softly scratching him behind the ears. Bryan finally starts to calm down again and leans back to look Jacen in the eyes.
"I-I'm sorry. It's just; this is still so new to me. When you were talking about telling your dad I panicked because I wasn't sure how he would react, and I can't even think about losing you now. I've heard about the horrible things a parent does to a kid when they find out their gay, and I got scared." Bryan started tearing up again, and he pushed his face into his lovers shirt, sobbing. "Please, I don't want that to happen to you. Please, can we wait to tell your dad? I want to be sure he'll be ok with it."
Astonished at his striped lovers reaction, Jacen leans forward and lifts up Bryans face so he can look into his eyes. "Hey now, I already told you that I wouldn't tell anyone about us till you were ready, and I meant that. I'm yours and I don't plan on going anywhere." He smiled and hugged his big fuzzy tiger into his arms once more. "Come on, I'll make it up to you. I'll take you on a date anywhere you want to go. Within reason of course."
Looking up form Jacen's chest, Bryan manages a shaky smile. "Any where?"
"Within reason" Jacen nods encouragingly. Bryan fidgets with the hem of his shirt as he thinks about the offer. "There has to be something you want to do? A movie, go to the mall."
"Can we just rent a movie and have our date here tonight? Maybe order some pizza? I just want to be with you right now." Bryan suddenly says and blushes.
"See, there now. Of course we can, but what movie do you want to see?" Jacen replies smiling, as his lover blushes even more. "How about we walk to the movie rental shack and decide there." Slowly Bryan nods. "All right, let's get our shoes on and head on over there."
The walk to the store was actually only about ten minutes from Jacen's house. Neither one spoke as they traveled, Bryan because he was still so nervous, nor Jacen because he was afraid of pressuring his lover again. 'If were going to make this work I have to get rid of his fears...and I have just the movie to do it with.' He thought with a small smile.
He had known Rob, the tall bunny that ran the store during the night shift, for a long time, and as a favor he had asked if he would hold a movie for Jacen. One he had hoped to see with Bryan for sometime, but had never figured out when to do it, till now. When he read the note that Bryan had left for him in his locker, he could have leapt for joy! The only thing that had kept him calm was the fact that he was at the school at the time.
Of course Rob knew about the feelings Jacen had for Bryan, as he had told him personally and in confidence that he wouldn't utter a single word, and agreed to hold it for him until Jacen was able to get together with Bryan and watch it with him. Jacen was then pulled from his thoughts as he heard the bell of an opening door and realized that they had already arrived at the store.
"So...what movie should we watch? A romance? Maybe a comedy? Thrillers are okay too..." Bryan was blushing as he pointed to the different sections.
"Why don't you go browse around and see if there's one that catches your eye, I'm going to go say hi to rob real quick." Smiling he nudged Bryan in the direction of romance with a squeeze to his right butt cheek. Blushing, Bryan nodded and headed over to see what they had, while Jacen went over to the counter and knocked on the top to get the white bunny's attention. "Hey Rob. I got a question."
Standing up from sorting out the returns, the bunny smiled. "Ah! Jacen! What can I get for you?" He asked leaning onto the counter in a friendly way. Silently, Jacen puts a finger to his lips and points to where Bryan was occupied browsing the Comedy section. "You still got that movie back there for me?" He says smiling at Rob.
Eyes going wide for a moment, Rob looks over at Bryan browsing the shelves and back to Jacen. "You finally did it? You two finally got together huh?"
Smirking, Jacen looks back over at his now boyfriend. "Actually, he came to me and confessed his love. I was surprised really. I hadn't expected him to it would be him that started it. I always thought I'd have to take it slow, you know. Get him used to the idea of being with another guy before asking him out, but as it turns out he's had a thing for me since our last summer camp trip."
Noticing Jacen was watching him, Bryan looks up and waves', blushing madly when he notices Rob was watching. "He's so cute when he does that." Jacen says chuckling. "So you still got that movie? We're going to have a pizza diner date tonight."
Rob raises an eyebrow. "A pizza diner date?"
"Come off it Robby." Smiling when the rabbit cringed. "He's the one who wanted to rent a movie and order pizza. I said we'll do anything he wants and that's what he chose."
Shaking his head and chuckling softly, Rob reaches down under the counter and pulls out a DVD rental. "There it is. The only copy we have. You're lucky I was even able to hold this. If my boss had found it I would have been in so much trouble." Smiling he hands it to Jacen. "Now you two have a good time tonight." Winking he turns back to the returns and continues checking them all in.
Grabbing the movie, Jacen heads over to where his boyfriend was going through the thrillers. Bryan was busy reading the back of a thriller movie and didn't notice Jacen walk up behind him until he felt a hand squeeze his side. "EEP!" Bryan squeaked as the mischievous wolf behind him mercilessly tickled him. "Ok, ok! I give! I give!" He gasped out between breaths and fits of giggles.
Ruffling Bryans head fur, Jacen stops his relentless tickles. "Ok. Come on, let's go. I got our movie for tonight." Curious, Bryan gives him a questioning look. "It's a surprise silly. you have to wait and find out what it is."
Nodding Bryan puts the movie he was looking at back on the shelf and follows Jacen back outside, waving at Rob, and getting a wink back in return. blushing Bryan hurries outside and catches up to Jacen. "What did you tell Rob?"
"Hmm?"
"You and Rob! What did you tell him? He winked at me when we left. Did you tell him about us?"
Smiling, Jacen pulled his tiger closer to him. "Sweetie, he already knew. He has know for as long as I've known I loved you. I even had him hold a movie for me, the one we're about to watch." Smirking at the confusion on his lovers face Jacen just pulled him closer. "Don't worry, he won't tell a soul."
Leaning his shoulder against Jacen's shoulder, Bryan just sighed. "All right. if you say he won't, I'll trust him. just warn me next time please?"
Chuckling, Jacen kisses Bryans head. "Okay, Stripes."
Later at the house, Jacen decides to take a bath while they wait for the pizza to arrive, and Bryan starts up the X-Box. After around thirty minutes of playing, the front door bell rings. "Jacen! Pizza's here!" He yells upstairs and answers the front door, just as Jacen walks down with only a pair of pants and a towel wrapped around his shoulders. Smiling as he sees his Wulfy walk up, Bryan takes the pizza handed to him and steps aside to let Jacen pay for the food.
Later, after they had divulged themselves of the pizza, they sat in the living room and prepared to watch the movie Jacen had rented. "So, my Wulfy, what do you have in store for me?" Bryan purrs and leans into his lover's chest.
Rubbing Bryans back, Jacen pulls out the case, and hands it to him. "Oh...just a little something I thought you'd enjoy." H replies with a smirk. Looking at the front of the case, Bryan gasps.
"You got the original Fox and the Hound!? But how? These aren't even in circulation anymore!"
"Robby said that he remembered finding a copy of it at the store after I told him what you said was your all time favorite movie, and offered to hold it for me until I could get you all to myself." His smile was suddenly covered by Bryans muzzle as he gave him the biggest and longest kiss he could. "I'll take that as a I love you so much then shall I?"
Smiling, Jacen got up and put in the movie. "Now we can really enjoy ourselves for a while." Sitting back down, he pulls Bryan to his chest and locks him into a side hug as they watch the movie. Bryan licks his lover on the face. "You know I love you right?"
"I sure do, Stripes. I sure do."
They stayed like that throughout the entire movie, Jacen rubbing along Bryans back, and Bryan purring in Jacen's ear. As the movie ended, Bryan sits up and draws his partner into a long drawn out kiss. "That was wonderful, thank you." He says and pulls away, Jacen's eyes still closed from the kiss. Smiling, he opens his eyes and gazes at Bryan's eyes, his blue irises in complete contrast to his orange fur.
"The night's not over yet, sweetie. I still have one more thing to give you." Getting up, Jacen walks over to the desk by the window and pulls open on of the drawers there. Removing a small case, he then returns to the couch and hands Bryan the package. Curious, Bryans turns it around and looks at the note taped to it.

If your reading this, I've either told you how I feel and we are together, or my dad got a job at a different town. "This once belonged to my great grandmother. She received this from a very handsome young tiger that she had met while in India. So great was his love for her that he gave her his most valuable possession, his heart in the form of a bracelet, made with the purest of minerals. It has been handed down in my family for generations since then, each giving it to the one they would spend the rest of their lives with. And I choose to give it to you, my own little tiger."
While listening to Jacen speak of his grandmother, Bryan kept staring at the bracelet, until he heard the last part.
