My relationship with Lu has grown substantially since I was a teenager. At that point in time I knew I loved him, but I wasn't really sure to what degree. But now we publicly express our love nearly every day, shower together, sleep together; we freaking breath together. I never actually told my parent's we were dating, I was just waiting for them to find out. My injuries healed up quickly, and I'm pretty sure that made Lu slightly depressed considering I could walk on my own. But I'd still let him do the walking for me every once in awhile. There hasn't been a day Lu hasn't made me feel like a princess, and his arms were the castle with the king closely protecting it. My parents bought me a car for my twentieth birthday, considering I've had my license for over two years now. I never really used the car since I loved walking with Lu more then I did driving. But now we had to face an important change, moving.

My uncle bought me a small house closer to the beach, and further away from the metropolitan area I currently lived in. I was quite happy to move, but don't get me wrong I loved my parents to death, but I was ready to live with Lu, just the two of us. And I know for a fact Lu wanted the same thing, considering every night he would dream of us two, and only us. Hell even my dreams were the same, I just wanted to live every day with him.

*Final moving day*

"Alright all the heavy stuff is already moved in, only thing left is some clothes, and well... us." Lu was holding my hand while wagging his tail quite happily. He always seems so happy to be doing anything with me, especially now since we were moving out.

My mom seemed slightly upset, but she was smiling regardless. She walked up to me and give me a kiss on the cheek, and even gave Lu a little kiss on his forehead. Probably her sign that my life was now his responsibility.

I was about to start up another sentence, but my dad quickly intervened and asked, "mind if I borrow Lu for a second?"

I simply nodded yes, and he reluctantly let go of my hand, and followed my dad into the kitchen. I could hear them conversing, and even sharing some laughter but my mom didn't really let me listen in.

"I know Lu's gonna take good care of you Sarah. Just the way he holds you while you two sleep together puts my mind at ease."

How often do you watch us sleep together? I shook off the thought and just decided to be blunt. "Yeah about that... we've been dating for like four years mom."

I expected my mom to act shocked or something, but she responded equally as blunt, "I know that honey. I wouldn't want any other living creature sharing the same house let alone the same bed. I don't even care that he's not human, bet he's never mistreated you once."

I typically would get upset over this type of conversation, but my mother was actually okay with me being in love with a Pokemon. And if she knows, my dad obviously knows. Hell that's probably what they are discussing in the other room. "He's the nicest, funniest, (sexiest), guy I've ever met in my life mom. I... I love him so much."

She hugged me rather tightly and responded, "I can easily tell how happy he makes you. You barely smiled before sixteen, and now you are a very energetic, pleasant young woman." I looked past my mother's shoulder and saw Lu and my dad walking back, and Lu oddly had his paw clenched into a fist. They were both smiling though, so that put my mind at ease. But before my mom let go of me she quickly whispered in my ear, "I want you to treat him right as well, you hear me? This stuff works both ways."

I quickly nodded and said, "of course I will."

She rubbed my back and said, "I know dear."

Then what's the point in saying it... oh never mind! But before I really had time to stand on my own two feet, Lu already fully embraced me with his eyes focused on mine. I was fully aware my parents were watching me, and I didn't care. Lu slowly started to lean in a kiss but spoke first, "I love you."

I giggled and quickly brought my lips to his. We spent a good thirty or so seconds making out until we both pulled out at the same time. "I love you too Lu." I was still curious to why he had his paw clenched into a fist, but I couldn't really wrap my mind around it. We were still holding each other, when I decided to quickly glance over to my parents.

To my surprise both my mom and dad were tearing up. But my dad spoke out before I had the chance to say anything. "I never thought it would be possible for a Pokemon and a human to ever fall in love... I couldn't of been more wrong." He retreated from the room before his emotions got the best of him.

My mother spoke to both of us this time, "I swear if you guys ever split, I'll..." She never finished her sentence, instead she started a new one. "Lu, thank you."

Lu quickly picked me up and started heading to the door, "don't thank me, thank Sarah for letting me into her life." His words were rather epic, almost harrowing. _But still though, why is his damn paw in a fist? _

We made our way outside heading towards my car. My mom waved to us goodbye, and I waved back for both of us, considering his paws were pretty full. He carried me over to the driver side door, dropped me to my feet, and opened the door for me. "Your cab is here ma'am."

"Thank you sir." I laughed and give him a quick little kiss before he scampered off to the passenger side door. I entered the car and fastened my seat belt, and Lu mimicked me. I started the car and glanced back over towards him, and he seemed awfully nervous. Did I do something wrong?

"What's wrong?" He oddly blushed from my words, but he sat up straight in his seat before he replied to me.

"I was wondering if you wanted to check out the beach will quick. You've been moving stuff for the past week, figured you'd want to take a break or something."

I still don't understand why he has his right paw clenched. I decided to grab his free paw and simply held onto it. "Why were you so nervous to ask that?"

He shifted his right paw slightly but still didn't un-clench it. "Didn't know if you would say yes."

"You know what Lu? I guess we are taking a quick trip to the beach then." _Why would he be afraid If I said no? _

He leaned over give me a little kiss on the cheek and hid his head from my vision looking out the window. I could see in his reflection on the window a visible smile, and a very visible blush. _We've been doing this stuff for years now, what changed? _

I put the car into drive, and we were off towards the coast. Luckily our new house was in the same direction, so It's not like we were doing something out of the way.

About an hour passed, and Lu was very oddly quiet the entire way. I felt like I did, or said something that hurt him, but he would smile every time he looked at me. He was practically acting like he had a crush on me and was trying to hide it. Even though I felt bad, I couldn't help but find his act cute.

I pulled up on a curve and put the car in park. "Alright Lu, we made it. I don't have my bathing suit though, so..."

He grabbed my hand and said, "you won't be needing it." He opened up his door and quickly ran to my side and let me out of the car. What's that supposed to mean? A million different thoughts popped in my head as we headed off to the beach hand in paw.

After a few steps we finally made it to the sandy coast of pure bliss, but in my case, curiosity. "So what did you have in mind?"

He stopped walking and looked me straight in the eyes, "you."

Seriously what is he doing? A few separate groups of people walked by before I found the right words. So I teasingly spoke up with, "what about me?"

He started to wag his tail which ended up blowing some sand away. I couldn't help but internally giggle over it. But when I looked up, I saw multiple things that made my heart beat slow. His eyes clearly wrote of pure love, his face was red as a rose, and he had a small smirk building up.

"Well uhh... Sarah I have something I need to ask, and well something that I need to get out of my paw." He hid his paws from me behind is back, and made a motion I couldn't really follow. He crouched down to his knees and my heart immediately stopped. If you would of checked my pulse at that exact moment, I could of been declared legally dead. He showed his arms to me, and in his paws was a small black box. "Will you marry me?"

I froze in place as blood rushed to my head, and my vision was slowly fading to darkness. Are you freaking kidding me! He... he wants to mar... marry me?! I took a quick look at his paws, and sure enough it was a beautiful ring with my name practically signed on it. His tail was still beating sand, and he was still staring at me, waiting patiently for my answer.

I grabbed the ring, looked at him for a second, and tackled him to the ground. I didn't give him a chance to speak, I brought my lips to his without any hesitation. He closed his eyes and moaned into my lips. I closed my eyes as well, and started to cry. There was a small applause ringing in from around us, but I didn't care. Lu was the only thing I cared about at that moment.

I didn't answer yet, did I? shit. Breaking the kiss to speak wasn't a good option so I did the only other option I could think of. I used my free hand and slowly slid it underneath me to his chest region where his spike should of been. I very slowly traced the word yes with my finger tip, and underneath that I traced a small heart.

For a second I didn't think he would get it, but he grabbed my other hand, took the ring, and slid it onto my finger. I wasn't sure how long we were on the beach, but it was at least ten minutes of pure love. But I had a question digging in the clockworks of my brain.

He carried me to the car, and we were making out nearly the entire way. Wouldn't surprise me if we made several people uncomfortable, but this was now my fiancé not just a boyfriend. However Pokemon and human relationships were nearly untold of, practically nonexistent. Lu opened up the driver side door and stepped in with me still in his arms. He quickly shut the door, and just simply looked at me.

"Oh Sarah, you look amazing today." He sat me up on his lap, and looked me up and down. "You have no idea how much I love you."

I replied in a cunning manner, "well you did just put a ring on my finger Lu." I gripped the fur on his chest, and pulled him in for another quick kiss. "But I have one question."

He pulled me closer to him to the point his muzzle was touching my nose. I couldn't help but giggle over how cute he could accidentally become. "What's the question?"

I played with my new ring a little bit before I asked, "how did you get this ring?"

And to my surprise he gave me a simple answer, "your father gave me it earlier."

My dad wanted him to propose? He was alright with that?! "Well uhh... what did he tell you?"

He grabbed my hand and slowly worked his way to the ring. "Better strap in, cause he asked me a good bit of questions." I laughed over his little joke and I laid myself against his body, basking in his pleasant warmth, and comforting fur.

"Well the first thing your dad said to me was, I know you two have been dating since the whole hospital incident, and that's fine with me. I was slightly surprised, but I decided to remain quiet. And now that she's moving out and taking you with her, I need you to answer the few questions truthfully alright? I nodded and he began. Have you two ever kissed? I responded yes. Have you seen her naked? I said yes, but I getting a little anxious. Your dad then placed his hand on my shoulder and lowered his voice, have you two done anything sexual? I firmly responded no. He then said, alright one more question. How much do you love her?" He shifted slightly in the car and made sure our eyes were locked in on each other.

"Well sir, I would want to be with her forever." I started to tear up over the fact that Lu really did love me that much. Lu noticed, and let one arm loose and dried my eyes for me, then returned to squeezing me to death.

"He then went over to a cabinet, pulled out a small box and tossed it to me. He told me to go to the beach, and ask you to marry me. He never told me how, he just simply said let your instincts guide you. He finally patted me on the shoulder and said, If I know my daughter well enough, she will say yes in a heartbeat."

Amazing, my dad wanted Lu to marry me. Even more amazing he knew I would of said yes.

I twirled my new ring around my finger and simply said, "I love you."

We both leaned in for a kiss at the same time, and he mumbled under our locked lips, "I love you too hun."

Oh we using nicknames now? Two can play that game sir. I gave a little evil laugh in my head, knowing that Lu would soon be my husband meant I could get away with doing a little more now.

The drive home was a little bit more dangerous than I would of liked to admitted, considering I couldn't help but take my eyes off the road just to see what he was doing. And every single time I checked, he had his eyes on me every single time. I pulled into the driveway of our new home, and put the car into park.

"We left our last house as a couple, and now we are entering a new home as a soon to be husband and wife. Life is amazing."

Lu laughed, "you can say that again, you're engaged to a Pokemon."

"Hey you're engaged to a human."

He smiled and replied, "I wouldn't change that for anything." I leaned in and gave him a kiss before we both got out of the car.

I took one single step towards the house, but Lu wouldn't allow that. He quickly ran over to me picked me up, and then proceeded towards the house, now satisfied. He carried me into the house, just like he carried me the first time we met. Things were simply perfect.
