Chapter X: Meltdown, Part Two

Koji looked at J.D all his feelings of love empowering him. Everything he felt and loved for J.D. He remembered as he met J.D everything in the few days before that sparked their love story. As Twilight appeared to him and then took on his new form, as in an unexpected motion they kissed, then he remembered the events of the two days before something that he would never do again.

He glowed out with a blue flaming energy, tiny particles of raw energy swirling around as a shield of the same energy formed above them spreading down and enclosing them in an area of protection, the rocks dissolving into nothing as they made contact with the raw energy. J.D looked in disbelief and Koji felt awestruck as he lowered the shield.

"That's new.", Koji said as he looked at his hands, he summoned more energy and twirled it around above his hands. J.D laughed as the energy was conveyed around him and Koji. J.D looked at the shark's left arm and his smile changed to a look of horror as he sensed the energy Koji was using, it wasn't absorbed energy.

It was far from energy made with Koji's power, he feel it the distinct signature it gave off. Koji made he energy he replicated it from his own body and didn't use his powers to make it. However it wasn't Koji's energy either. He felt it the same way but in a way he didn't feel it, unlike every energy he felt around from every single person or outsider the energy Koji was radiating was natural.

This natural energy could only mean one thing, Koji was using J.D's energy. J.D knew this meant one thing, he had made Koji his harbinger. He elaborated for a split second and decided against telling Koji, it could be something stupid. They cuddled last night and Koji could have absorbed the energy on his skin by accident the shark thought.

Koji closed up his hands focusing the energy and then quickly opened them back up dispersing the energy into the air. J.D not wanting to alert Koji to his idea smile by thinking of the one thing that anyone would smile at, baby pandas. His face turned to the biggest smile when he thought of the tiny baby creatures, feral and anthro alike.

"Dear me, that was close.", J.D said as he looked at the collapsed part of the the brick building, Koji didn't even notice that his mate used himself as a replacement for God. The dragon's around then stood and look at fear as they saw Koji and the power he saw. Koji looked around and saw the dragons looking at him with with fear.

"What! Get out!" Koji yelled out placing his hands into the air and firing a blast of raw energy into the sky. The dragons surged out of the area, trying to get away from the Harbinger of Raw Energy. The shark looked around and realized their were no dragons around.

"What! Get out!" Koji yelled out placing his hands into the air and firing a massive blast of raw energy into the sky. The dragons surged out of the area, trying to get away from the Harbinger of Raw Energy. The shark looked around and realized their were no dragons around.

Koji reached down and pulled out his phone, he pressed the One button and dialed Jackson's phone, two long drawn out rings and the orca picked up his phone. "Jackson." Koji said in a sterner voice than normal.

"Yeah, it seems that hell has decided to take a personal vacation in middle Las Vegas today, might want to get here twenty minutes ago." Jackson said as he talked into his phone using his shoulder to hold it to his face. He kept his eyes focused forward as he used his powers to quickly aim and fire into the approaching dragons, shooting them in knees and shoulders.

"Koji, gonna have to talk to you later." Jackson quickly placed his phone back into his pocket and continued to shoot the dragons, he noted that they were more in control. Nothing was hanging from their waist and instead they seemed focused on attacking.

He heard steps behind him and from the corner of his eye saw his wolf hybrid boyfriend walk up behind him. "Move back and stop for a second, I didn't want to bring it out yet but I say now's a good time for turning into the Were-Croc a second time." Eric said as he looked at the massing wave of dragons.

"Will be able to control yourself, I don't want to hurt you." Jackson said as he put his hands off the trigger and placed his arms down, he backed up to allow Eric room for the transformation. "Don't lose control, think of me." Jackson said as Eric started.

The dragons stood as they felt the power of another Harbinger activating. Eric tightened up his body getting angry at the dragons attacking the city. His muscles started to flex out as the transformation begun, he clinched his fist as he felt his heart beat faster and faster, blood flowing quicker and quicker and into his body.

He felt the transformation start in his hands. He felt his nails extend out into air, growing larger and sharper from their normally trimmed and the edges dulled. The became sharp as the edges became like razors, sharp as diamonds. His fingers started to become bulkier, his bones and finger muscles becoming larger. His hands followed suit as his tendons stretched out to accommodate his larger hands.

His fur started to clump up, the brown gathering and starting to mat on his fingers. The fur started to fuse together as the entire chemical make up of the hair rearranged itself, changing as it formed a solid barrier of scale cells from the hair cells. The color quickly changed into a dark green as the scales started to from his hands.

The veins in his arms started to puff up showing off as his biceps, triceps and other arm muscles all bulking up and growing up and down as his arm became larger and longer, the hair to scale conversion going up as his arms finished their transformation.

His muzzle extended out further, his nose becoming to holes on his mouth. His teeth changed as rows of sharp and pointy teeth formed. His pupils changed as they became tiny silts in his eyes. His fur changed to scales, the only fur on his left on his body was his fur.

His pecs, chest, and torso became wider as his body spread out, his shirt started to rip apart, it was shredded to pieces and landed over the alley floor, his six-pack abs reappeared as his metabolic processes were sped up. His body bulked and the transformation shifted to the tail. His tail uncurled as it lengthen itself more bones forming. It landed on the ground with a slam and the fur changed to scales. He tested it out, swinging it back and forth.

His cargo shorts were stretched out as his thighs changed the scales going under the fabric and changing, a few rips appeared but his appearance wasn't compromised. His legs lengthened till he reached the tall height of 9 feet tall. His shoes were thorn to pieces along with his socks, his long scaly feet stretching out and nails growing.

"GUARRRRRRRRR!" Eric screamed out as the transformation was completed. The dragons looked like they were scouting out Eric, trying to figure out if he was like them or if he was a threat to them. Eric walked forward, the ground shaking as his large foot slammed back into the ground with a mighty force. The dragons thought that the were-crocodile was bulky and slow. Crocodile took another step as it slowly approached the dragons.

The dragons laughed at the crocodile as he slowly approached the dragons, to their surprise Eric in one motion jumped up and launched himself down the alley. He went over the pile of dragons that accumulated from Jackson. He clamped his fists together and raised them above his head, he approached the dragon and slammed his fists into a dragon. Jackson cringed as he heard bone snapping and the dragon was forcefully sent into the ground, a tiny impact crater opening up in the solid ground.

He landed next to the dragon, and jumped up again as the other dragons looked in horror. He latched on to a dragon's scaly hands and dragged him down. He raised his hands up, dragging the dragon along and slammed them down into the ground taking out the dragon.

He jumped up again, slamming his body into the reptilian foes. He slammed his arms opening taking out another two dragons. He shifted his body over to the left and grabbed a dragon's foot taking him down to the ground and slamming him leftwards into a wall.

The dragons all flew over, as they flapped their wings and started to crowd around the dragon. A massive pile of dragons gathered around Eric. They all started to try to scratch the crocodile, he stood silently as the claws of the dragons did nothing to his skin. He nuzzled his arms up to his chest and crossed them. He waited for a second letting the dragons get their guard down.

He slammed out his fists knocking the dragons to his side away, quickly he pulled back his right arm and punched forward with amazing power. The dragons in front of him all fell to the ground as the impact spread trough their reptile bodies. He turned around and quickly slashed with his open left hand, his claws easily broke trough the scales of the dragon opening up wounds, blood flowed out like river from the dragons turning the area red. With his right hand he slashed above himself and made an opening. He jumped up and closed in his arms as he entered a twirl he kicked the dragons in their skulls cracking their necks as they landed on the bloodied ground.

He started to run again going over the bodies of the unconscious or dead dragons, he jumped up and managed to traverse the entirety of the square in one leap. He looked around and saw no dragons, Jackson slowly approached the crocodile trying not to set him off.

"Are you okay?" Jackson asked as he stood mere feet from the apex predator. The were-crocodile said nothing instead walking over to Jackson getting on his knees so that he stood about as tall as the orca still taller and placed his arms around the killer whale. He nuzzled his snout into Jackson's shoulder as Jackson was sure that Eric had almost full control of the form.

Eric let go as his attention was diverted from his boyfriend to the left entrance of the square, he let go of Jackson and quickly ran out into the street. He looked up as he was confused by the massive hordes of dragons all flying to the north. He jumped up into the air and landed on a building ], then he jumped into the horde and grabbed one of the dragons who was flying by his foot. He dragged him down to the ground and was confused as the dragon continued to flap it wings trying to fly north. He let it go and the dragon continued to fly north not bothering to go up into the sky.

Eric almost seemed to laugh as the dragon stupidly crashed into a building down the street, he continued to push against the building's wall only focused in traveling to the north. Jackson walked out into the street and watched as the dragon tried to comically move through the wall.

Koji and J.D quickly arrived at Las Vegas Maximum Security Prison, the source of the dragons. Koji felt drawn to it as if it was in his destiny to arrive their, they entered through the front doors and expectantly their were no guards all likely turned to dragons. The solid steel doors into the prison were ripped open.

Koji approached the door and entered as he looked in, he placed his hand on the keypad. A red glow was emitted as he gained its electricity power but instead of having his powers like Ro he gained his power in a form such as the key pad would do so in normal life, blue electricity arced around his body a shield forming to protect his body.

"Careful J.D, I'll shock you.", Koji said as he prepared to enter the main prison. Knowing he was not able to attack he reached behind his waist and grabbed a lesser used weapon of his, his semi-automatic pistol. He cocked the gun and pointed it into the main prison as he entered.

"C'mon Elemental Master, afraid of your own half-brother." Koji recognized the voice of the general dragon, Darkwing. He was in the back of the prison, his entire body covered by darkness. Koji was confused by the statement but assumed that the dragon was only taunting him, he looked around. He saw that the dragons left the prisoners alone, and most were focused on the two.

"And you brought your Kagen boy toy, too bad for you, brother doesn't approve of him." Darkwing said beyond the void of the shadows.

"Okay, what the fuck are you talking about?" Koji said as he tried to figure out what the heck Darkwing was talking about.

"See for yourselves, you could say we're related." Darkwing said as he walked out of the shadows, his head was the same as before and so was the front of his torso but that was where the similarities ended. His hands were blue, his skin smooth and rubbery like Koji's. Off of his wrists two firm fins aerodynamic, on his back the same, his legs the same as his feet and of his ankles another set of fins. As he walked out he put his hands out ice crystals forming in his hands.

"So Elemental Master with your genes I temporally gained your powers and it was amazing but I was stuck with the first power I got, luckily my master had a sample of snow left over from the mysterious snowfall a week or so ago." Darkwing put his hands forward as a flurry of snow surrounded his body, "I am the ultimate genetic mix of two species! I am the Shargon! So then how does Thanksgivings sound?"

Koji knew he was in trouble, it was likely that Darkwing had both of the powers and could use them together. He didn't want to do it but he knew his hand was forced, he would have to absorb two powers. Darkwing blasted forward ice crystals, Koji did nothing as the shield reappeared and the snow was melted and then split into oxygen and hydrogen with the electricity. Koji looked around for things he could weaponize with his powers and what would be most effective.

He had an idea, he swiped his right hand forward. Reacting with his hand Koji's electricity shield expanded out, it arced out and hit the prison walls. An alarm was triggered as the prison activated its security system, out of the roof two plasma guns appeared. They charged for a half-second and fire two plasma bullets at Koji.

He put his hands up into the sky and they were covered in red energy as he absorbed the plasma, he felt pain run through his body as he transferred the energy to his left hand. He gasped as the pain settled down and his hand was covered in a pink glove. He lowered both his hands and his shield returned to in front of him.

"Well aren't you just the little warrior, you might have forgotten or not though of it, I have two powers too!" Darkwing cried out as he disappeared into a black void. Koji looked around trying to find where the Shargon would re-emerge, he focused as he tried to keep both powers with him. He realized that the Shargon was trying to tire him out, make him let go of one of the powers.

"What, your going to try to weaken me, I though you were a shark. Sharks gladly take on their opponents at full power, so come on out and face me!" Koji yelled out taunting the Shargon's pride. "J.D." Koji grumbled trying to get the message across.

"Come on, I seen whales with more balls than you!" J.D yelled out, "What are you going to cry to your homosexual life partner, I'd call him your mate but as your currently demonstrating you have no balls!"

"Okay, calm down." Koji said to J.D who seemed to be overexcited. They went tense as a cool breeze flowed through the prison, they turned around and faced the exit. Darkwing stood facing the two, his hand facing the two. His smile turned to a smug look as a massive blizzard blasted out of his hands towards the two sharks. Koji was safe in his electric shield but the attack spread out through the prison and J.D was knocked back by the snow.

Koji looked around as the snow cleared. Darkwing continued to look smug, until he looked behind Koji and his faced turned from confident to worried. Koji was filled with feelings of anger as he saw J.D knocked down, covered in ice and shivering. Without thinking he pushed his hand forward and out of the glowing hand a massive pink, flowing, river of plasma blasting out.

Darkwing quickly reacted put his hands together, back to palm on top of his forehead. As the beam approached he charged up a blue ice sphere of energy. As the beam got closer, his energy sphere got larger. With in milliseconds of the beam hitting him he fired his hands forward to chest level. His sphere hit the plasma beam as he pushed his hands into the attack. The plasma beam was pushed back as the beams equalized each other.

Koji fired out in pure rage trying to destroy the genetic abomination that Darkwing was. He screamed out in pure anger as he gave all his energy to the attack. The plasma blast pushed back Darkwing's attack. Darkwing looked smug as the beam approached, he opened up a void behind him and walked backwards into the shadows. He closed the beam and the plasma passed him and destroyed the doors.

Darkwing emerged from the void and looked the tired Koji. He put his hands together and above his forehead again. Blue energy flowed up his arms and into his palms. It flowed out of his palms and into the air as it congregated into a blue energy ball. Frost flowed of the ball as he charged it with his cold energy.

"What is that all you got, I still have plenty left in me." Koji said as he struggled to breath and panted. Darkwing looked with a smug look, he disappeared into thin air and Koji looked for the dragon. Behind him Darkwing reappeared, he pushed his hands forward maneuvering his hands around the ball so that both of his wrists were touching and his fingers were around half of the sphere. He fired out a massive beam of energy at Koji.

Koji screamed out in pain as he was hit in the back with the beam, piercing his shield. He was pushed to the floor and landed as a layer of frost covered his back. Darkwing looked triumphant as he stopped the beam and put his hands back.

"And so Elemental Master falls in battle to his own brother, that will look good in a song." Darkwing said as he started to walk towards the exit. To his shock Koji started to shake of the frost layer on his back. He pushed up and got off the ground, putting weight back on to his legs as he stood up.

He yelled out as electricity sparked out of his back, he clenched his hands as the transformation took place. The cyborg armor seemly changed from his first transformation, instead of a large trapezoid box, it instead appeared as a sleek oval dome over Koji's back. Two containers formed for energy storage stick out on the top part of the dome. Three cylinders that stuck out from each storage. The top one facing upwards, the middle horizontal, and bottom facing downwards.

On the shoulders metal hinges flapped over the shoulders, a thin metal cuirass forming over his chest. The nanobots looped around under his armpit holding on to his body. The metal spread out forming shirt sleeves on his upper arm.

Koji screamed out in pain, out of the shoulders a half circle popped out. The bottom half fused with Koji's skin connecting and fusing with his nerves. It spread down both his arms, then stopping at the elbow. A metal plate formed around the upper elbow, then another over it to allow from flexibility. It spread down to his wrists, where a metal cuff formed around each wrist. Metal plates formed over his hands and joints on his fingers, becoming a gauntlet.

More half circles came out from the bottom of his energy container. It went down his spine and towards his tail, it went under his pants and out his pant's tail-hole. It went over his tail and towards the fin. It covered the fin, leaving a sharp edge to the fin.

"You may have your powers, but I can one up you. I am the Elemental Cyborg!" Koji cried out as the cyborg armor changed his voice to a more mechanical tone. Out of the six energy ports on his back red energy beams shot out, the top two and the left middle maneuvering upwards to the ceiling. They both hit the plasma gun. The right middle and the bottom energy beams traveling backwards and hitting the electric keypad.

Koji seemed confused but placed his trust in his cyborg programming, as the purple energy was drawn down his energy lines from the plasma gun and blue energy from the keypad. The lights in the prison flashed on and off as Koji drained the area of electricity. As the energy hit his armor, Koji felt no strain on his body, but could feel it seeping out of his body. A blue aura formed around his body, flowing upwards, spiky and unbalanced. Electricity quickly arced and crackled around his body as the second transformation begun.

The cybernetics forced Koji's right hand out and made his open. The energy blasted off from his body as he absorbed even more. The prisoners in their cells were knocked back by the energy bursts Koji was emitting. Most looked in awe as they saw the empowered shark.

Electricity crackled in his hand and arced out until a tiny purple thin cylinder formed, it was translucent but was colored entirely purple. Another ring formed on top and another and another until 7 rings were stacked upon each other, a sword hilt.

Darkwing looked in horror as the weapon was formed, he was tormented by the amount of power Koji was outputting. Koji screamed out once more as the main formation of the weapon started. Darkwing was finally knocked back by Koji's awesome power, he was knocked to the floor as the formation of the sword began.

Plasma energy blasted out of the hilt, like a fire it surged as it tried to form. The fire cleared out as a sharp, sleek plasma blade; purple and translucent; like the hilt formed. As more of the blade formed the fire cleared out still coming out of the hilt. The blade reached the bottom and the fire blasted out of the sides of the hilt where the blade meet the hilt. Two prongs of the blade formed, serving the purpose for balancing the blade.

Koji grabbed on to the hilt of the blade, as a massive burst of electricity surrounded his body. Power flowed down his left arm and blasted out of his hand. The electricity formed a circle shape in front of his arm. The electric shield around his body started to condense into a dome like shape with a spike coming of the center. The shield moved in front of his arm and it attached to his arm with a strap and a latch that Koji grabbed on to.

A blue energy field formed on the back of his neck spreading up over his head and then his head. A piece of plasma ridged over his head-fin and formed tiny pieces of plasma hair. The ridge moved down over his nose and stopped. The armor then moved around his eyes and finally finished past his mouth.

Plasma surged over his armors forming a metal chain armor down his arms down to his gauntlets. Energy blasted off his body as the transformation was complete. The energy lines returned to the cyborg armor. He looked at the transformation and felt the energy in his body.

He ran forward at Darkwing almost instantaneously, he grabbed the Shargon by his neck and picked him up into the air. Darkwing made a choking noise as Koji looked at him through the armor. "Darkwing I will ask one question what is Bright's plan? And you will answer me clearly when I let go of you, do you understand!" Darkwing made a sound and Koji let him go.

"Bright is going to the Las Vegas Plutonium Fission Plant, he going to send it into meltdown." Darkwing said, "The dragons will destroy the reactor and radiation will be sent over the earth." The lights flickered on and off as to prove Darkwing's point. "Oh, look its starting."

"You idiot you realize he not going to save them, they'll blow up. Your half-brothers, your mate, all gone. To him their failures!" Koji yelled out scolding the dragon for forgetting. "Now you can let your comrades die or you can transport me their and save them."

Koji powered down the energy dissipating and his cyborg armor disappearing. He approached J.D who seemed to be woken up by Koji's outburst. He sat down on his legs and patted J.D on the head.

"Listen, I have to go now, I don't have much time for good-byes, there's a nuclear power plant exploding and I have to do something about it. J.D over the last few weeks you have been the greatest thing to happen to me." Koji said, tearing up, "I love you." He kissed J.D on the head.

"I love you too, you are my Harbringer, you will survive." J.D said letting that cat out of the bag. "Now, go." Koji got up and turned around towards Darkwing.

"Let's go, I want to make this quick." Darkwing said nothing a he grabbed Koji and dragged him into the void with in a second Koji arrived at the power plant, he was in a large room, a viewing platform with teleport pads. The viewing platform was covered in a radiation blocking glass.

"Darkwing, go save your dragons take them to somewhere where they won't be found." Koji said as the dragon disappeared back into the void. Koji looked at the challenge before him, two massive pits inside each a massive glowing rod of plutonium. He would have to absorb the radiation and the energy.

He activated his cyborg armor again and took one final breath. He shot out his red energy lines into the pits and attached them to the rods. The lines turned green as he absorbed the energy. With full control of his armor he increased the rate he absorbed at, the red energy lines thickened. He screamed out as his body was filled with the radiation and energy.

With in a second he anticlimactically absorbed all the energy. He panted, he had to get the energy away, he saw the teleportation pad and knew what he had to do. He needed to safely dispose of the energy, he needed to see J.D again. Had it been before he met the shark, he would have gave his life and teleported far away.

He shot one final red beam and gained teleportation powers. He thought one final thought, how much he loved J.D. He disappeared from the plant and arrived at his destination. Snow covered the ground and flew in the air with a massive gust, he was in darkness. He put both his hands up and let the energy surge.

Out of his body a massive blast of radiation, lightning up the sky, blasting up expanding into the sky. It passed up through the atmosphere. Before it reached space it hit the ionosphere, the radioactive energy reacting with the magnetic currents and flowing out. The sky lit up with a blaze of auroras as Koji deposited the energy into the magnetic force field that surrounded the earth.

End Series One

So Instead of waiting a while and posting Series Two, I will instead be shifting my focus to my newest Outsider related series Almost Super, featuring the adventures of Ignazio and his team of outsiders in New York City, so I work on that for 10 chapters than take a break and then start Series Two of this, and the cycle continues and prepare yourselves for community jokes between the two.
