_Look what I found: an old commission from QuetzaDrake! It's like finding buried treasure, except it's porn!

This isn't wasn't one of my typical happy-go-fucking stories. It's got a rape scene in it (and not let's-pretend-it's-rape-but-it's-really-not like in Frost). It was interesting writing the scene without being overly sexual. I think the story is okay, but it won't be for everyone. Just a warning. The original ending was much different, by the way, but we cut it and decided to go with a happier ending. I'm glad we did - I was never comfortable with the original._

* * *

"And for your valiant efforts in the face of extreme danger, I am proud to give you the title of Duke," the king said, "and all the responsibilities and rewards that come with such honor."

Shira nearly growled as shi watched hir king lavish yet another honor onto one of the other knights. Even though shi was a prestigious member of the Knights of Adamsog, shi'd never been chosen for the most dangerous - and rewarding - missions.

"Go forth and continue your good work," the king said. "Continue to make your country - and your king - proud of what you accomplish, Duke of Shirfur."

Shira's blood boiled. That half-baked king never recognized hir good deeds. The other knights only laughed at hir - they though of hir as a fluke. Not a real knight.

If only shi could show them! Shi was tired of being treated like a second-class knight just because shi was different.

The ceremony finally ended. The assembly left - Shira was the first one out the door. Looking back over hir shoulder, shi could see the newly appointed Duke laughing smugly with the fat old king.

Shi turned hir head and walked briskly back to hir quarters. What an insult, to be treated this way day after day for years on end now. But shi couldn't break hir oath to defend the country unless the king released hir voluntarily and that wasn't too likely.

Shi slumped on hir bed, tossing off hir ceremonial guard as turned onto hir back and stared up at the rough-hewn planks making up the ceiling of hir humble house. More like a hut, shi thought bitterly to hirself. The other knights had much more lavish quarters, even the newer ones.

The calico's tail swished back and forth as shi angrily pulled off hir gloves, then hir boots. Things had been so much better before. Before the new king. The old king died during a raid and his brother took power - he was a smug, old, traditional bastard, completely unlike the old king.

The old king knighted hir - a move many of his contemporaries disapproved. They viewed knighthood as a male-only occupation, unfit for someone like hir. But the old king was able to see hir as more than half-male, half-female - he could see hir for the formidable warrior shi knew shi was.

Shi pulled the ribbon tying hir hair up out so hir light-brown hair fell down over hir shoulders. The calico hated wearing the ribbons and refused to wear dresses - they only made the other knights talk about hir behind hir back. But the king told hir shi had to wear at least something feminizing since shi was part female.

"Rrrrrrrr... why won't the old bastard just release me from my oath?" Shira growled, angrily throwing hir boots against the far wall. The leather footwear bounced off the stone walls harmlessly. "What a doddering, pathetic excuse for a..."

"Uh, sir?"

Shira spun around. It was Mookie, hir squire.

"Oh, hi, Mookie," Shira said. Shi forced hir claws in, knowing the tanuki didn't like it when shi was angry. "We're not in public, call me Shira."

Mookie was another outcast. Full name: Mokahbro Silvunt Rosharro. Big name for a little tanuki - he was a runt, barely coming up to Shira's shoulder. Thin and lanky, always cheery. He would never be a knight, not with the standards the new king imposed on them all. It was a wonder he was still a squire, even.

Shira forced a smile. Mookie always cheered hir up - he knew he'd be a man-at-arms all his life, but relentlessly trained to do the best he could. His determination helped keep hir going through all the indignities shi had to suffer.

Assigning Mookie as hir squire was a joke, as the new king thought of it, but it was a blessing in disguise, as far as Shira was concerned. He was loyal and helpful and appreciated that shi took him seriously.

"Sorry about that, Mookie," Shira said. "I just had to go to another ceremony."

Mookie nodded knowingly. "I'm glad they don't invite us," he said, walking into the room and depositing a load of laundry on the bed. He started to fold it as Shira sat in a chair, slumping down dejectedly.

"Hey, cheer up!" the tanuki said, grinning. "You'll get there someday. This king won't be around forever and maybe the next won't be so bad."

"Thanks for trying to cheer me up," Shira said, sighing. "But you know as well as I do the next in line is even worse. And the one after that."

"Well, let's not worry about it," Mookie said. "Hey, want to help me practice later?"

"You know damn well you're a much better shot than I am," Shira said, smirking at the tanuki. "You just want to show off."

Mookie turned his head to the laundry, avoiding hir gaze. "I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Oh, c'mon - you hit a palm-sized moving target from thirty yards. And you weren't even trying!"

"Well, okay, do you want to practice something else? Sparring? Polearms?"

Shira sighed again. "No, I just want to sit here and stew today. I have no desire to do anything to improve myself for that slug in the castle."

Mookie turned around and sat on the bed, gripping the edge with his paws. "I guess you won't want to know about the secret I found out in town today, then."

"What is it this time, Mookie? Another will-o'-the-wisp that's actually some lost farm girl? Or maybe the bell-ringing demon that's just a cow?"

Mookie's grin widened. "I know, I know - my sources are not always accurate. But this time, I know for a fact it's real. One of the townsman spotted a dragon eating a cow."

"A dragon? C'mon, Mookie - that's pretty far-fetched."

"Okay, well, it wasn't the townsman - it was his cousin from Stonerock. But he swore his cousin never lies."

Shira stretched out hir legs, wiggling hir toes. "Yeah, and next you'll tell me they saw a unicorn in the waterfall."

"C'mon, Shira - I'm serious. This could be your big break!" Mookie said, leaning forward. "We should at least go check it out - if you protect the kingdom from a dragon, the king can't ignore you again!"

Shira shook hir head. "You know as well as I do the last dragon was seen over fifty years ago in the Wealand Mountains miles and miles and miles away. What would one be doing in Stonerock?"

"I don't know - we better go check it out!" Mookie said. He tossed Shira a leather jacket and grinned again. "I already have the horses ready and your things packed."

"Mookie..."

The tanuki stood up and grabbed hir arm. "C'mon! If nothing else, it gets us out of the castle for a couple days," he said. "You do know the king is going to give Cornrey the title of Chancellor next week? And Limnor is getting 50 acres of land? And even Slaughf is getting a post in the king's guard?"

Shira groaned. "All those ceremonies... I can't take any more of them..."

"Then let's go! Even if it isn't true - which it is - we'll at least be away for three weeks."

Shira nodded. "Anything to avoid those dreadful ceremonies with all their pomp and... ugh, ribbons."

Mookie grinned. "I don't know, I think you look quite fetching with a nice yellow ribbon in your hair..." He laughed as he danced out of the way of Shira's half-hearted swipe.

"I let you get away with too much," shi said, leaning back and closing hir eyes.

"I know. So let's go!"

"Aren't we even going to stay for supper?"

"What, and listen to the new Duke of Shirfur bragging all night?"

"Ugh. Good point."

"I know." Mookie grinned.

Shira sighed again and stood up slowly. "Alright, you win. Let's go."

"Yes!" Mookie grinned and pulled out a few articles of clothing from the pile of laundry, threw them in a bag, and opened the door for Shira. "You'll have to tell the commander where you're going - I'll meet you at the main gate with the horses and gear."

Mookie closed the house up and waved as he headed towards the stables. Shira watched him go and shook hir head. He tried so hard... shi'd have to make sure shi knew how much shi appreciated his encouragement.

Shira headed to the commander's building - he'd be in his quarters by now, probably getting out of his ceremonial gear. The commander wasn't a bad guy - he was around when the old king was still alive. Shira got along with him well enough because he only cared if a person was a good soldier. Beyond that, he didn't much care.

Shi knocked on his door and he opened it after a minute or so.

"What is it, Shira?"

"I'm requesting permission to go on a mission for the good of the king and kingdom," shi said, reciting the standard request line.

"What kind of mission?"

Shira paused. Shi tried to think of a way to say it without sounding silly, but finally shrugged. "We're going to investigate a dragon sighting."

"Not another cowbell demon," the commander muttered. "You're not doing this just to get out of the upcoming ceremonies, are you?"

Shira looked at hir toes. "Uh..."

The commander laughed. "Good for you," he said, patting hir backside. "Get out while you can, eh? I'll expect you back in two weeks."

He abruptly closed the door, leaving Shira standing by hirself in the hall.

"Well, that was easy," shi thought as shi turned and started walking towards the castle gates.

Mookie had the horses ready to go. Shi grinned at him as they left the castle and started down the east-bound road.

"Thank, Mookie."

Mookie just smiled.

They traveled in silence for most of the day. Shira really enjoyed the chance to just relax and settle back. Mookie enjoyed the countryside - he got cabin fever while stuck inside the castle walls.

It didn't seem to take too long at all until they were overtaken by darkness.

"We should make camp and let the horses rest," Shira said. The sun was just dipping down below the horizon.

"Looks like a clearing up ahead - we can camp there tonight," Mookie said.

The clearing was a good spot. They pulled out their bedrolls and tethered the horses to a nearby tree.

Shira stared up into the sky, thinking to hirself. Shi often had sleepless nights like this at the castle, but out here... it was so much more peaceful. No pressure, no indirect insults, nothing. Just the deep black sky and hir.

Mookie was restless as well. He rolled over on his sleeping mat and looked over to Shira. His eyes glimmered in the darkness.

"Shira?"

The calico started. Shi didn't realize Mookie was still awake. "Yeah?"

"Do you ever feel... lonely?"

Shira sighed. "Yeah. I think everybody does."

Shi heard the tanuki rustling around in his blankets. "Yeah," he replied softly.

Shira perked hir ears a bit. "Mookie... why don't you leave? You don't have to be my squire all your life."

Shi heard him rustling around some more. "I don't know. I guess I like you - I think you can be better than the rest of them."

Shira turned on hir side and looked at Mookie - he was looking back at hir. "Thanks, Mookie."

He didn't say anything. For a moment, Shira thought... but no. Mookie was a loyal squire. He wasn't interested in hir. Not like that. Shi was fond of Mookie, sure, but it was unheard of for a knight to go that far...

"Goodnight, Mookie."

"Shira?"

"Yeah?"

"Thank you."

"For what?"

"You've always been so kind to me. I hope you know how much I appreciate that."

Shira didn't reply. It was nearly fifteen minutes later, when Mookie was on the edge of sleep, that he heard Shira speak again.

"Mookie?"

The tanuki started a bit. "Yeah?"

"Do you really stay just because you like me?"

Mookie sat up. This was a strange question, coming from Shira. He could see hir, lying on hir side, back to him. Shi was always so strong... why would shi ask a question like that?

"Well, I have my duty to do, and my oath to uphold... but yes, I really like you," he finally said.

There was no mistaking the gentle sobs Mookie heard next.

"Shira?"

He pulled back his blankets and moved next to his knight, kneeling and putting a hand on hir shoulder.

"Shira, what's wrong?"

Shira rolled onto hir back. There were no tears in hir eyes, but Mookie could tell shi was not in a good way.

"Mookie... it's just that... sometimes I get so lonely," shi said quietly, struggling to get the words out between breaths. "You're wonderful - you're always there for me. But every time I have to go up to the castle... they laugh at me. They make jokes. It hurts so bad sometimes."

Mookie leaned over and hugged Shira, not saying anything.

"It's just... so hard sometimes," Shira repeated, shaking a bit. Hir arms hugged Mookie tightly.

Still without a word, Mookie shifted around to slide under the blankets with Shira. He lay against hir as shi hugged him close, offering his companionship and friendship.

Shira, for hir part, quieted down after a bit. Shi hadn't broken down like that in months. Shi was sure it was the first time Mookie had seen hir like that, but he seemed to understand.

Shi knew he was in a similar position. The other squires gave him little respect. He was probably just as eager to leave the castle as shi was.

Shi hugged him more tightly and smiled as the pain in hir chest finally subsided. "Thank you, Mookie."

Finally the tanuki spoke. "Shira... I want you to know I... I want to be with you. As your squire, at least. But I want more."

Shira pressed hir muzzle forward, pushing hir lips to Mookie's neck.

"I want to be with you," Mookie said. "I love you."

Shira didn't say anything, but hir paws tightened around Mookie's backside. It was nearly painful, but Mookie loved the closeness.

"Mookie..."

"I know... I know we can't... I'm your squire, I have no place to..."

"Mookie, shut up." Shira moved hir head back and smiled at him. Tears ran down hir cheeks. "I want you too."

Shi pressed hir muzzle forward again, but this time shi kissed him and he kissed back. His paws grabbed at hir backside as the larger feline hugged him tightly. Hir tongue pressed into his muzzle as shi pressed against him firmly. Shi rolled on top of him to hold him down.

Mookie broke the kiss and smiled up at hir. He didn't say anything, but struggled out of his shirt. Shira did the same.

His paws slid up hir belly and over hir breasts as shi leaned down to kiss him again. Hir paws clutched the blankets as they pressed tightly against each other, kissing long and hard.

"Shira... are you sure... are you sure we should do this?" Mookie gasped, tilting his head back.

"Of course," Shira said, smiling down at him. Shi kneeled up so shi could pull off hir britches, and then pulled off Mookie's. Naked, shi pressed back against him - even though he knew shi was a hermaphrodite, he pulled back a little as he felt hir sheath press against his belly.

"Shira..."

Shira paused, worried. "Yes?"

"Can I... feel you?"

It was an awkward way of putting it, but Shira knew what he meant. "Of course, Mookie," shi said, sliding onto hir side next to him.

He smiled and leaned upwards, sliding his paws down hir breasts and belly. His fingers hesitated only slightly before wrapping around hir sheath. "It's just like mine!" he exclaimed.

"Of course," Shira said, grinning. "What did you expect?"

"I guess I don't know," Mookie said, slowly squeezing Shira's thick sheath, "but it sure feels good."

"That it does," the calico purred, leaning back and shivering a bit. Hir sheath thickened quickly as Mookie squeezed. When he lowered a paw to squeeze hir heavy balls, the thick tip of hir erection pressed upwards, sliding along hir lower belly.

Shi sat up and smiled. "Now it's my turn," shi purred, sliding hir paws up the tanuki's thighs. Mookie leaned back and smiled as hir paws slowly stroked his belly before closing around his sheath.

When shi slid a paw down to cup his balls, it was hir turn to pull back in surprise.

"Wow," shi said softly. "These are huge!"

Mookie grinned. "Well, I am a tanuki."

Shira's paw barely held one side of the raccoon dog's massive testicles. Though his sheath was average, his balls were enormous - each side at least the size of Shira's fist.

Shira grinned widely as shi used both paws to massage Mookie's heavy balls. Shi leaned over and kissed him again as his erection quickly grew.

The calico slid hir hips against the tanuki's, purring as shi did. Hir heavy cock pressed against Mookie's smaller erection as shi slowly licked and kissed his neck and cheeks, purring deeply.

It wasn't long before Mookie's legs spread around Shira's hips and hir erection pressed against his rump. The tanuki smiled at hir as shi leaned down to kiss him again.

"Ready?" shi whispered.

"I love you..."

And with that, Shira pressed forward, sliding into the smaller male beneath hir. Hir paws gripped his shoulders as he arched against hir, moaning loudly. Shi pressed hir muzzle into his neck as shi felt him press around hir erection.

"Mookie..."

Hir breath came heavy and fast as shi started to slide in and out of the tanuki, going slow at first but gradually speeding up. Mookie's arms wrapped around hir backside. He clutched hir fur as he pulled himself against hir tightly and moaned loudly with every deep thrust.

Joined in flesh, Shira didn't last long. Shi groaned as shi pressed inwards, over and over. Shi could feel Mookie's erection as hir belly slid over it, pressing against it heavily. It wasn't long before hir claws came out and shi arched hir back, pushing in deeply.

Hir claws pierced Mookie's fur and skin as shi came hard inside him, but the tanuki barely noticed. His blunt claws scraped down hir backside as he felt hir orgasm run through hir body.

Shira moaned deeply and kissed Mookie again, insistently pressing hir tongue into the raccoon dog's mouth as shi came inside him - it was a first for hir and felt wonderful.

Mookie hugged hir close and groaned as he felt hir slowly taper off. His rump felt warm and wet - deliciously full.

"Shira... promise me you'll do that again," he said. "Damn..."

Shira smiled and kissed his cheeks as he leaned his head back. "I promise." Mookie groaned again as Shira slowly pulled out of him. "But first, we have to take care of this," shi purred, sliding hir hands over his throbbing erection.

Playful as a kitten, Shira kissed Mookie lightly on the lips, then his cheek, then his chin. Shi worked hir way down his body, kissing as shi went, till hir lips planted a wet one on the head of his cock.

Mookie groaned, head still back. He didn't watch as Shira's lips slowly parted and pulled his erection into hir muzzle. He shivered as hir tongue ran over his length - he could feel the feline's sharp teeth run over the head of his cock.

Hir paws gripped the tanuki's heavy balls and squeezed eagerly. Mookie moaned loudly and arched his back - his over-sized testicles were very sensitive.

Shira's muzzle moved up and down his erection quickly. The feline wasted no time or tongue in fellating the tanuki and quickly brought him to his climax.

Shira could feel Mookie's body shudder. Shi heard the short gasps. Hir paws tightened around the base of his shaft and his heavy balls as shi pulled his erection deep into hir muzzle, pressing the head to the back of hir throat.

Mookie came hard. Shira grunted a bit as shi felt the blast of cum on the back of hir throat. The tanuki's prodigious balls produced copious amounts of cum - within moments, Shira's cheeks bulged and shi had to pull off the raccoon dog.

His cock kept cumming, though - it spurt thick jets of white cum across his belly as Shira struggled with the initial load still in hir muzzle. Shi swallowed quickly and grinned as shi watched for a few moments, eagerly viewing the tanuki's orgasm as he came and came.

His balls held far more cum than hers, shi realized - as well they ought, as big as they were. Shi pressed hir lips back around his tip, sucking down another thick load of his cum. Shi heard him groan as hir lips squeezed the base of his cock, encouraging hir to bob hir head a few times before hir cheeks bulged again with cum.

Shi pulled off once more. Finally, Mookie's spurts grew less intense. They didn't spray quite so far across his belly and chest and eventually slowed to a light drizzle.

Shira grinned down at him widely. "Mookie, you animal!" shi said happily.

"Umm... I didn't know I'd do that," an embarrassed Mookie said.

"That was incredible, Mookie," Shira purred. "You'd be the envy of a male twice your size."

Mookie grinned. Short as he was, he liked that idea. "Thanks," he said, grinning.

Shira curled up close to him, sliding a paw over his sticky belly. "I want to feel that inside me," shi whispered naughtily into his ear.

Mookie stiffened. "Uhh..."

Shira laughed. "C'mon, Mookie. We've broken so many taboos already - what's one more?" Shi kissed his cheek and hugged him tightly. "We're all alone out here - we don't have to worry."

Mookie smiled and turned his head. "Shira... I do love you..."

Shira smiled back and pressed hir forehead against his. "I love you too..."

The tanuki grinned. "I've wanted to say that for a long time."

Shira's paw slid up his neck and stroked his head fur. "Mookie..."

They didn't speak again that night, content to lie in each others' arms, under the stars, far away from their troubles.

* * *

The morning sun rose far too quickly for Shira. Shi enjoyed the feel of Mookie's warm body and hugged him tightly as shi watched him sleep. Shi felt happy - much happier than shi had in years.

Mookie woke up slowly and grinned at hir cheekily. "Hello."

"Hello," Shira responded. Shi leaned down and kissed Mookie heavily, purring deeply as shi did. The tanuki groaned a bit and pressed back against hir.

"So it wasn't a dream," he said as they broke the kiss.

"No, it wasn't," Shira said, purring deeply. Hir paws stroked his shoulders as shi slid against him, sliding hir growing erection against his thighs. "You're quite the stallion in bed, you know."

Mookie blushed and grinned. "Thanks."

Shira kissed him again. "I think you invented this dragon just to get me out of the castle and by myself so you could take advantage of me."

Mookie laughed. "Yeah, I'm suoooh!"

Shira grinned as hir paw slipped over his sheath and squeezed nicely, cutting him off and forcing out a groan. "Luckily your plan worked."

Mookie smiled and closed his eyes, sliding his paws up over hir chest. "Yeah..."

Shira hir thick erection against Mookie's heavy testicles, purring again. "I think we have a little more time to fool around before we ought to get going," shi said, tracing pattern's in Mookie's chest fur with a finger.

"Plenty of time," Mookie said, nodding. Leaning up, he kissed hir heavily and wrapped his arms around hir neck as shi slid hir thick erection against his rump. "Plenty of time..."

Several hours later, Mookie and Shira cleaned themselves up and returned to their horses, ready to be on their way.

The journey to the town didn't take long. They found the tavern and hitched their horses before going inside and ordering some food.

After the barmaid served them, Shira called her back over.

"Have you heard of anything strange happening around the town?" Shira asked.

"Like what?" the barmaid asked in reply.

"Well... we received several reports of dragon sightings at the capitol and I was sent to investigate."

The barmaid laughed. "They sent you on a fool's quest, in that case. The last dragon sighted in town must have been over 100 years..."

As shi spoke, Shira and Mookie heard terrified screams outside. Rushing up from the table, Shira pushed aside the barmaid and made for the door.

It was pandemonium outside. People ran willy-nilly as Shira peered around, trying to see what was causing the panic. Mookie grabbed hir arm and pointed upwards.

"Look!"

High above the town - at least a hundred feet or more - was a large, winged shape slowly circling.

"That... that's a dragon!" Shira exclaimed. "Mookie, you were right!"

"Wow... even I thought I was stretching on this one," Mookie said, eyes wide.

The dragon started to descend, zooming towards the town at high speed. People dived for cover as he strafed low over several houses, knocking one down in a heap of weak wood and hay.

Shira could hear him laughing as he swooped back up into the sky.

"Why that... did he... is he taunting us?" Shira asked, growing angry. "Mookie, get my equipment."

"Yes, ma'am!" Mookie said, running back into the tavern as Shira kept hir eyes on the dragon.

Strange he didn't seem to possess fire-breath - isn't that what all the dragons in the stories had? But then again, people loved to exaggerate.

Mookie stumbled out of the door of the tavern, holding hir chain mail armor, shield, and sword awkwardly. He helped hir get it on as the streets cleared - people found cover and hid as the dragon made another swoop. His tail cracked against another house, caving in one side of it.

"Mookie, get some people from the tavern over to those collapsed houses as soon as it's clear," Shira said. "Make sure nobody is buried."

"What are you doing?"

"It looks like I'll be hunting a dragon," Shira said, watching as the winged monster started flying away, bored already with casual destruction.

Shi jumped on hir horse as Mookie undid the tethers. "I'll follow it to its hideout," shi said, turning hir horse.

"Shira!"

The calico turned hir eyes off the dragon's retreating figure and onto Mookie. "Yes?"

"Be... be careful," the tanooki said.

Shira smiled. "I will. I'll see you soon!" Shi spurred hir horse and started galloping after the dragon. "You're the king's representative here while I'm away!" shi called over hir shoulder. "Get those people out of those houses!"

Mookie shouted something at hir, but shi couldn't hear him. Training hir eyes on the dragon, shi urged the horse on, hoping to keep up.

The dragon was flying slowly and very low now, as if taking his time. He didn't notice Shira as shi rapidly overtook him.

Pulling hir bow off hir back, shi lined up a shot and let fly, clutching the horse with hir knees to steady hirself.

It pierced his wing and went clean through. He let out a roar of anger and whirled around to see what happened even as Shira lined up another shot.

This one thudded into his belly - the stories of dragons with impenetrable armor hides was untrue as well, shi thought to hirself.

Letting loose another roar, the dragon fell into a dive, heading straight for hir, claws extended.

The horse bucked in fear and threw hir off. Shi hit the ground hard, landing on hir bow and snapping it. Shi rolled in the nick of time - the dragon's claws scraped the ground where shi lay only a moment earlier.

Struggling to hir feet, shi pulled hir sword out and grabbed hir shield off the ground. When the horse bucked, fortunately, hir shield came loose and fell from its leather strap.

The dragon, meanwhile, stumbled and hit the ground hard as well, slamming face first into the dirt and sliding nearly twenty feet. One of its hands tripped over an exposed root from a nearby tree as it tried to snatch hir.

Shi turned towards the dragon warily, holding hir shield and sword up. The dragon stood up slowly as well and turned towards hir, glaring, before inspecting its wing. His face was very angular and narrow. He held himself in a very haughty way, if that could be said about a dragon. He walked on two legs and had two normal-looking arms.

"You little bitch," it snorted. "Don't you know what I am?"

The dragon sounded male and young, if that could be said about his deep voice.

"Let me guess... a snake with wings?"

The dragon roared, making hir take a step back. "Fool! I am Urketh the Ninth," he shouted. "I am lord of this pitiful land and all the pitiful inhabitants in it!"

"Funny, you sure look like a snake with wings..."

The dragon's eyes narrowed and he suddenly charged at Shira, letting out an angry screech.

Shira sidestepped and tried to slash at him as he went by, but at the last moment he let out his wings, kicking up a cloud of dust. Shira coughed and dove to one side, unable to see but hoping to avoid the dragon's deadly claws.

Rolling onto hir knees, shi watched warily as the dragon stalked towards hir. Shi crouched again, ready for another charge.

"You're pathetic," he snorted, letting his wings settle onto his back. "How can you expect to defeat a creature as mighty as myself?"

"Mighty? Sure, if you think knocking down homes and terrorizing defenseless people is might," Shira said scornfully. "You're nothing but a flying salamander in my eyes. And salamanders aren't all the difficult to get rid of."

They circled each other, both breathing hard. Shira noticed his belly bleeding where the arrow struck earlier and another light gash on his arm - hir sword must have struck him, if lightly, when he charged.

"C'mon, salamander," shi taunted. "Let's see what you've got."

"You'll regret the day you tried to stop Urketh!" the dragon roared. He charged again.

Shira ran forwards, toward him. It surprised him, shi could tell. His claws came up and swiped at hir sword, knocking it away and into the ground. Shira pulled hir shield up as Urketh's heavy claws slashed towards hir face.

The metal groaned and screeched as Urketh dented the thick steel. Shira struggled to pull hir sword out of the ground and managed to swing it up and then down, but the dragon quickly stepped aside.

Before shi could bring hir sword up for another swing, the dragon beat his wings again, blowing up another cloud of dust. Shira backed away, shield in front of hir as shi tried to clear hir eyes.

The last thing shi heard was an angry roar and the last thing shi felt was a heavy blow to hir temple.

* * *

Shira woke up slowly, head aching. It was dark and clammy - shi could hear water dripping and echoing. A cave.

"So... you're awake," a deep voice said.

Shira tried to move, but found hirself bound to a large tree trunk by strips of hir own clothing.

"Release me at once!" shi shouted.

The dragon stepped forward - Shira could barely see him in the gloomy darkness.

"I don't think so," he said. "I have other plans for you." He nearly spat the last words out.

"When I left the warrens in the high mountains, the others said I was foolish," he said, staring at hir. "But it is they who are foolish. Why live in the cold and darkness of those craggy mountain valleys when the pickings are so fresh and easy down here?"

Shira struggled to free hirself from hir bonds. "You're nothing but a spoiled child, aren't you," shi said.

"Urketh the Ninth is not spoiled!" the dragon roared. It was so loud Shira's ears rang. "I'll teach you to respect your betters - and that's what dragons are. The true lords of this world! The rest of my kin are too blind and stupid to realize it."

His claws slid over hir body and ripped off what remained of hir clothing, leaving hir naked. "And you are definitely an interesting one," he said more quietly. "You'll be a fitting slave to start my harem."

"You've got to be kidding," Shira laughed. "As if I'd ever be your slave! You are a monster, nothing more, and if I was free I'd run you through with my sword before you could blink!"

The dragon laughed right back at hir. "Ah, but you aren't free, are you? And you aren't about to go anywhere," he continued. "I'm going to make sure you learn to respect me."

He heaved himself up against hir then and slid his long tongue against hir neck.

"What are you doing? Stop it! Get off me!" Shira cried, trying to struggle away from him.

The dragon didn't say anything, but Shira felt his claws dig into hir shoulders as his belly slid against hir chest. Shi felt something thick and slippery slide over hir sheath then and knew what the dragon meant to do.

"No! Stop!" shi screamed, but to no avail.

"Dragon magic is very powerful," Urketh said, whispering into hir ear. "I can fuck you as long and as hard as I like and make sure you'll live through it. I'm going to fuck you so hard you'll beg for more..."

Shira snapped at his face and managed to rip out a chunk of skin on the back of his neck. He roared in anger and brought his fist down hard against hir head, knocking hir momentarily senseless.

"Little bitch! Feel the might of Urketh!" he shouted, and pumped his hips forward, impaling Shira with his thick dragonshaft.

Shira's back arched as shi felt him enter hir. Shi cried out, but could do nothing to resist as shi felt him keep pushing in, deeper and deeper. It wasn't too painful, but very uncomfortable - his magic kept hir from being injured.

Urketh grinned down at hir nastily as his hips surged forward, shoving his erection deep into hir body, almost into hir belly. "You understand the power I have over you now?" he asked, breathing hard. "You'll call me master before I'm through with you!"

Shira closed hir eyes and tried not to think. Shi tried not to do anything as the dragon had his way with hir. Shi wouldn't let him have the satisfaction of seeing hir express any emotion - not even anger.

"What's the matter?" the dragon taunted. "Never had something so good before?"

Shira grimaced, trying to ignore his comments as his hips slapped forward. Hir toes curled and hir legs went rigid - she tried not to encourage him in any way.

It was hard. The dragon raped hir for nearly two hours before finally stopping. Shira's mind was completely blank with horror by the time he was done.

Hir belly felt swollen and oversized and hir mouth was dry. Shi cracked hir eyes open and saw the dragon resting back on his haunches, grinning nastily at hir.

"That was a good session," he said, patting hir belly. It sloshed around, full of his seed. "We'll have some more fun in a little while."

Shira heard him walk towards the front of the cave and leap off, then the flapping of his wings as he left hir alone in the darkness.

Only tears slid down hir cheeks - shi didn't make any noise. Hir body shook with rage as emotion finally returned.

Despair set in quickly, however, as shi futilely pulled hir arms against the bindings attaching hir to the tree. Shi couldn't escape - how was shi going to get out of this?

Poor Mookie, shi thought to hirself. Shi would miss him the most - they'd only just realized their feelings for each other and now... now this.

Shi couldn't tell how much time passed before the dragon returned. Shi soiled hirself while he was gone, hoping it would turn him off. But when he smelled hir, he just threw several buckets of water against hir body, cleaning hir off. He dumped one over hir head, letting hir drink, before resuming his heavy thrusts.

Hir body rocked back and forth against the log as the dragon had his way with hir. For hours, it seemed, he was relentless and came into hir body again and again. Hir backside rubbed raw and hir wrists chafed, but shi sustained no real damage thanks to his magic.

Finally, he was done. Shira's eyes didn't open this time - shi couldn't bear to look at him. He didn't say anything, but he laughed cruelly as he left again.

This continued for a long time. Shira couldn't tell how much time passed, but shi could feel hir belly growing larger and larger every time the dragon returned. Shi'd slowly drain, but then the dragon would return anew to stretch out hir magically-charged body. He even started to jack hir off, forcing hir to cum.

He said it was so he could make hir so big shi couldn't escape. Occasionally he unstrapped hir and rolled hir onto hir belly before re-tying hir, just to prove his point.

He fed hir occasionally - just enough to keep hir hungry. He made sure shi had water every time he came back. He even forced hir to drink and eat after shi refused.

Shira's mind was starting to fracture. Left alone in the darkness, shi nearly wanted to see the dragon return, just so shi wouldn't be alone. But the thought of Mookie kept hir from doing that.

Shi never spoke a word to the dragon, never showed emotion. He took to slapping and punching hir, trying to get a reaction, but Shira remained strong. When he left, though, shi broke down a little more every time. Shi feared it wouldn't be long till he was right... and shi did call him master.

Shi started to feel changes in hir body, however, and that helped keep hir focus off the dragon. When he was gone, shi tried to figure out what it was that shi was feeling. And it seemed after every time he left hir again, shi could feel it stronger.

Sleeping fitfully - shi couldn't tell if it was night or day - shi woke up suddenly. Raising hir tail, shi stared at the end of it. Instead of fur, about six inches was covered in scales. Was shi dreaming? Going mad?

Shi raised hir head and looked at hir belly. There were patches of scales there, and on hir arms. Hir body felt bigger and hir belly wasn't bloated for once.

Shi focused on the feeling inside hir - it tingled, like... like... like the time the magician cast a spell on hir so shi could breathe underwater once. Or the time shi had hir fur lengthened by a different magician to cover some scars.

It was magic! Inside hir! Shi could feel the dragon's spell and it was starting to change hir. Was this what happened when draconic magic mixed with non-dragons?

Shi knew hardly anything at all about magic. Shi preferred swords and bows. But shi remembered the magicians talking about it all the time. They often called it "mind over matter" and pointed out how the words were important and all, but without the intention of the mind behind them, they were useless.

Maybe if shi put hir mind to it...

Shi focused on hir belly, willing the scales to disappear. Slowly, the fur returned. It was working!

For the next few hours, shi made sure hir whole body was back to normal. If Urketh discovered this, he would figure out a way to stop it. Maybe shi could use it to hir advantage.

It was fortunate timing shi learned what was happening to hir when shi did. The despair was getting so bad shi wasn't sure how much longer shi could last - only the thought of escaping and seeing Mookie again kept hir going.

Shi practiced while the dragon was gone, every moment. Soon shi was able to change hir skin from fur to scales within minutes. The more shi practiced, the easier it became. Every time Urketh forced himself upon hir, shi could feel hirself get a little more powerful.

Shi found shi could make hir body change as well. It was incredibly hard and took hir days and days to even start.

Urketh's visits were less frequent now, however, so that helped. Occasionally shi could smell blood on him and knew he was still terrorizing the village. What happened to Mookie?

Shi could only guess, but figured it had to have been weeks since the dragon captured hir and turned hir into his sex slave. He satiated his desires on hir whenever he wanted and shi couldn't fight back - but shi was growing stronger. The moment he was gone shi would practice hir newfound abilities.

It became easier and easier to increase the size of hir arms and legs. Even hir torso. Shi decided shi would try escaping by growing so big shi would break free of the restraints. Then shi could sneak to the village, get some supplies, and make hir way back to the castle, where the magicians there could help hir.

After the next session, shi decided. Shi would find Mookie and then... return to get hir revenge on Urketh.

It wasn't long until Urketh returned. He didn't bother with formalities - he just thrust himself upon hir, laughing and groaning and calling hir names. Shi closed hir eyes, trying to ignore him - the taste of freedom made it harder than ever as he used his magic - and that's what it was, now that shi could tell - to increase the size of his cock inside hir. He made hir belly grow as well, using more magic to fill hir with more and more of his seed.

When he was finally finished, he smiled at hir brazenly. "You're a tough one," he said, "but you'll crack - I know you're growing weaker. And I have all the time in the world." He patted hir on the belly and left.

Shira shivered with rage - shi stopped fearing the dragon and the threat of death a long time ago. Now shi felt only hate towards hir captor.

Now was the time, shi decided. Now shi would escape.

Focusing hir mind and concentrating as hard as shi could, shi tried to force hirself to change - to grow larger.

It worked. It was much easier than shi could have hoped. Soon the cloth and ropes securing hir wrists were digging in against hir fur. But as shi grew larger, hir body started changing in other ways. Scales replaced hir fur as the ropes stretched out across hir skin painfully.

Within minutes, hir body snapped the restraints and shi was free. Shi lifted up hir head - hir neck was long and slender, more than usual. Whipping it around, shi looked back at hir body.

Shi was shocked at what shi saw. Now half-dragon, half-cat, shi stood on two legs as usual. Hir long, colorful tail was the same, but larger. Hir legs, arms, and torso were draconic, but shi could feel a pair of furry ears on top of hir head. In addition, shi could feel a large mane-like growth of long hair growing from the top of hir head and down the sides of hir face and neck. It grew around hir shoulders and the top of hir chest, ending in a large poof between hir breasts.

Hir breasts were much, much larger than normal. A trail of thin fur crawled down hir belly to hir large, furry sheath, which was also much larger than normal.

Before shi had much of a chance to examine hirself further, shi realized shi had to escape, and quickly - if the dragon returned, now, shi didn't know how much of a fight shi could put up in hir weakened state.

Shi ran quickly out of the cave, towards the entrance. There was no light at the end of the tunnel - it was nighttime, shi realized. Shi reached the entrance and stopped short. It was a shear drop-off. There was no escape. The cliff was hundreds of feet up the side of a canyon wall. Shi strained hir eyes, trying to see down into the inky blackness below.

A gust of wind hit hir, making hir stumble. Without warning, the rock ledge shi stood on crumbled and shi fell off the side of the mountain with a scream.

Shi closed hir eyes, but felt something dragging against the wind. Something on hir back. Without another thought, shi felt hirself glide against the heavy wind currents.

As hir eyes adjusted, shi realized shi was flying. Shi looked back and saw a pair of large wings. Testing hirself, shi tried to flap them and found hirself going higher. Silhouetted against the moon, shi nearly let out a cry of delight, but stopped short when shi heard a roar of rage from behind hir.

The dragon.

Shi instinctively tucked hir wings in and dived down low, crashing through bushes and trees before getting hir feet in front of hir and skidding to a halt. Spotting some cover under some nearby bushes, shi ran quickly as shi could and collapsed.

Shi could hear the heavy beat of wings above hir, but they were gone quickly. The dragon's roars of rage subsided as shi waited, scared for the first time in a long while.

Shi opened hir eyes suddenly. It was bright out.

Sitting up, shi looked around - shi'd fallen asleep. The morning sun was bright and the woods around looked quiet and peaceful. It all seemed like a nightmare - almost.

Getting to hir feet, shi looked down at hirself and gasped. No longer draconic, not in the slightest - shi was hir old self with not a hint of scale. Naked, but feline again.

Maybe the magic was temporary? Or it was a willpower thing - shi could only sustain the changes while shi was conscious?

Regardless, shi was simply glad to be free and would figure out the rest when shi got home.

Stumbling slightly, shi lurched through the woods, trying to get hir bearings. Shi stepped out into a small clearing and spotted the remnants of an old campfire. Nearby were broken grass and stems - obvious signs of a previous campfire.

As shi drew nearer, shi sniffed. The scents were unmistakable - Mookie.

Had he camped here, waiting for hir? Shira recognized the clearing now - it was where they spent the night before shi was abducted.

And that meant following the river would bring hir back to the castle. Shi smiled and started to run - shi wasn't very far away from home now at all, shi realized.

A good day of walking and shi'd be home. There were no towns in the way, but shi could do without food for another day.

Shi walked without stopping and arrived at the castle in the middle of the night. Shi crept around to the back, not wanting to wake anyone, and climbed a large tree near the wall. Shi leapt across the divide and landed softly on the parapet. Shi hadn't needed to use that route since shi was a young cadet.

Shi moved quickly towards hir house, avoiding any guards. There was a light on which was strange so late at night. Creeping up to the window, shi peeked inside. It looked empty at first, but then shi saw a shadow moving against the back wall.

Mookie appeared then, carrying a load of clothing. He set them in a pile by the door. Looking very downcast, he returned to the bedroom and re-appeared moments later with another pile of clothes. Hir clothes. Was he... getting rid of them?

It would make sense. Depending on how long shi'd been a captive, he'd be reassigned and hir house would become somebody else's house.

Shi walked to the door and tapped on it lightly. A few moments later, Mookie opened the door.

They stared at each other for a few moments. Shira's muzzle broke into a smile.

"Shira?" Mookie asked. His paw reached out to touch hir face. "But... you're..."

His eyes rolled into the back of his head and he fell forward, fainting. Shira caught him easily and carried him inside. Laying him on the bed, shi left him there to check if there was water in the tub.

There was - it was fresh and hot. Mookie must have been preparing a bath.

Shi stepped into it, listening for Mookie should he reawake. But shi needed the bath - shi needed to be rid of the monster's scent.

Scrubbing hir fur down to the skin, shi groaned and leaned back in the tub, washing away grime and dirt and the awful scent of hir captor.

Shi reemerged a few minutes later, refreshed and more alert. Toweling hir fur lightly, shi sat next to Mookie on the bed. He was beginning to stir. The calico lay next to him and slipped hir arms around his body, hugging him close. He smelled good and felt like an angel in hir arms.

He blinked his eyes several times as he looked at hir. "Am I dreaming?"

"No." Shira pressed hir forehead against his. "I'm back."

"Oh, Shira... I thought... we all thought..." Mookie started to sob as he hugged her tightly, his whole body shaking.

"Shhh... it's okay," Shira said soothingly, stroking his head and neck. "I escaped. I'm back."

"I had to have all your things gone by tomorrow morning. I didn't know what to do," Mookie sobbed. "I waited for you in Stonerock for two weeks. The quartermaster finally sent someone out to find out what was going on. They made me come back."

Shira smiled and kissed his cheeks. "I know. You couldn't do anything," shi said. "The dragon captured me and took me up to his cave. I couldn't escape until the other night."

"Shira, I'm so glad you're back... I..." His words broke off into uncontrollable sobbing.

Shira hugged him close, rocking back and forth lightly. Shi nearly cried hirself. "You have no idea how happy I am to see you, Mookie," shi said. "All that time... thinking of you kept me going."

Mookie lifted his tearstained face to Shira's and smiled, blinking away the tears. "It's silly to cry, I know... but I'm so happy you're back."

Shira kissed him lightly, squeezing his whole body against hirs heavily. "I'm back, but we're going to leave soon."

"Leave? Where?"

"After I get my revenge on the dragon, I'm going to tell the king to shove it. We're going away - far away."

"You want... revenge?" Mookie asked.

Shira's face hardened. "What he did to me... is unforgivable." Shi looked at Mookie squarely. "We have to stop him before he does it again to someone else."

Mookie nodded slowly. "Okay... but... the king. He's... dead."

Shira's eyes widened. "Dead? But he had no heirs."

"The council is determining the next king. They'll be choosing within a week."

"How'd he die?"

"Choked on his dinner."

"Fitting."

"Yes."

"We'll leave tomorrow, Mookie. I don't care what's happening here - we'll return to Stonerock and then go south, to the country of Alton. I have a friend there."

Mookie rested his head against Shira's chest, sighing.

"As long as I'm with you, I don't care where I am."

"Same here, Mookie. We should get some sleep - we have a long day tomorrow."

"Are you going to tell anyone you're back?"

"Just one person - the old wizard. He can keep a secret and I've known him since my days as a squire. The less people know of me, the easier it will be to leave this place."

"Makes sense." Mookie stood up and blew out the candles, plunging the cottage into dark. He climbed back into the bed with Shira and lay against hir, hugging himself close.

Shira smiled as shi lay still. Neither spoke. They didn't need to.

Shira woke with a start again. Shi nearly panicked before remembering - shi'd escaped. The dragon would not be returning. But shi would return for the dragon.

Looking down at Mookie's sleeping figure, shi purred and kissed the top of his head. The tanooki stirred, but didn't wake.

"Mookie," Shira whispered.

The tanooki opened one eyes and smiled up at hir as sunlight streamed over his face.

"Pack our things. We leave in an hour."

"What are you doing before we leave?"

"I'm going to the wizard. I'll be back in one hour," Shira said, slipping out of the bed and donning some clothing.

Shi stopped after opening the door and turned hir head. "When we're alone again, I want to properly consummate our reunion," shi said, grinning broadly.

Mookie grinned back and nearly jumped from the bed. "I'll be ready when you return."

Shira moved quickly. It was still early and there was no one about yet. Stealing up the steps into the castle, shi dodged down some hallways till shi got to the mages tower.

Shi woke the wizard up and explained to him what happened. Dragon magic, he explained, was transferable under the right conditions. Shira didn't give him all the details, but enough for him to tell what happened to hir were the right conditions.

Shi didn't have the full power of a dragon, but shi could become one for short periods of time, if that was the nature of the individual dragon's magic. Shi'd also pick up certain aspects of the dragon's abilities, whether in draconic form or not. Since every dragon learned different magic, what those abilities were would change and Shira didn't tell him.

Before leaving, Shira swore the wizard to secrecy and told him hir intentions to leave. He nodded, understanding completely. The only thing he asked when she told him was why shi hadn't gone sooner.

Shi made hir way back to the cottage successfully, with no one seeing hir, and helped Mookie get their bags onto a small cart pulled by a horse. Shira stowed away in the back of the cart. Mookie drove them through the main gates, past the guards, and down the road.

Once safely out of sight, Shira joined Mookie in the front of the cart and hugged him close. "Are you ready for this?"

Mookie nodded. "I am."

"Good. I have a lot to tell you," Shira said. The cart trundled down the path as shi explained to him the magical qualities shi'd inherited from the dragon and what that meant. Shi didn't tell him all that shi had to go through, but Mookie nodded, understanding.

"Sounds like we'll be having lots of fun when we consummate our reunion," Mookie said, grinning devilishly at hir.

"You bet," Shira said, ruffling his head fur.

"What's the plan for dealing with the dragon?"

"I'll handle that. You'll be waiting for me in Stonerock."

"No. Not again, Shira! I can't stand it again," he said, upset.

Shira leaned against him and kissed his cheek. "I'm sorry, Mookie, but this is something I have to do and I can't risk you being hurt."

"But what if you need my help?"

Shira's face hardened. "Don't worry. That arrogant dragon won't expect me to return. Plus, I have an ace up my sleeve," shi said softly. "It'll be alright, Mookie - I promise."

Mookie nodded. He wasn't happy, but he recognized the stubborn look on Shira's face and sighed.

The trip to Stonerock went swiftly. Shira and Mookie traded kisses the whole trip, even stopping for an hour to engage in more arousing behavior. But they didn't take long - Shira grew more agitated the closer they came to Stonerock. Mookie stayed silent as shi gradually withdrew hir attention from him.

He knew this would be hard on hir. But he also knew shi would be victorious - shi had to be. He knew it, deep down.

Day turned to night, then day again. They arrived in Stonerock quickly and went straight to the inn. The dragon, they learned, was still terrorizing the local countryside. Shira gathered hir equipment and, kissing Mookie, turned to leave the inn.

"I'll be back before you know it," shi called over hir shoulder.

"Be careful!" Mookie called back. Then, under his breath, "I love you."

Shira quickly put all thoughts of Mookie out of hir mind as shi walked into the forest, listening intently for the sounds of the dragon nearby. He'd been spotted north of the town that morning.

Shi didn't take the horse - it made too much noise. And for hir plan, shi wouldn't need it.

Two hours after setting out, shi spotted the dragon. He was in a field, eating. Looked like a cow.

Crouching low, Shira crept forward quietly. Removing hir armor and clothes, shi focused hir mind, trying to transform. It was easier this time and before shi knew it, shi was fully draconic. Standing up, shi realized how much larger shi was in this form - at least as big as hir former captor.

Launching hirself out of the forest, shi used hir powerful wings to climb nearly fifty feet into the air before dive-bombing towards the dragon. Shi moved quickly - more quickly than the unsuspecting dragon, who barely turned around before shi was on him.

Pinning the dragon beneath hir body, shi grinned at him maliciously. "Remember me?"

"Get off me!" the dragon roared. "You don't understand who you're dealing with!"

"I don't?" Shira asked, bringing hir scaled muzzle close to his. "Aren't you Urketh the Ninth? Lord of this pitiful land and all who dwell in it? Urketh the Mighty, whose wrath is legendary? Hmm?"

Fear flickered across Urketh's eyes then. "No... that's impossible," he stammered, struggling against hir. Shi kept him pinned easily.

"Oh, it's possible," shi snarled. "And now it's your turn to feel my wrath." With that, shi cracked him over the head, knocking him unconscious.

Time to give this flying salamander a taste of his own medicine, Shira thought grimly to hirself. Shi could think of no fitter punishment than to treat him as he'd treated hir.

Binding the dragon's arms and legs with thick rope from hir pack, shi picked him up and slung him over hir shoulder, carrying him deeper into the woods. Shi fit a heavy branch between his teeth and bound his muzzle shut before slapping him awake.

"What's the matter, Urketh?" shi asked, pushing him onto his back with a foot. "Not liking a taste of your own medicine?"

Shi moved back and sat down, watching him. But then, finally, hir common sense overtook hir hate. Shi would not be like him. No, shi would be better than that. Not satisfying hir desire for revenge was like a splinter under hir skin, but the shame of actually carrying out what shi'd planned to do would be like an arrow, not a splinter.

"You know, I was going to rape you, as you raped me," shi said. His eyes went wide with fear. "Oh yes, I was going to punish you. But I thought better of it. I'm better than that. You're nothing but a slimy coward."

Shi started to slowly transform back into hir real form and dressed quickly. "I have a much better idea," shi said, smiling. "You probably know by now I've been 'gifted' with some of your dragon magic. I wonder if there's a way to contact some of your relatives. Or perhaps travel somewhere close to them?"

Urketh began to struggle violently.

"You don't like that much, do you?" Shira asked sweetly. "You must have left them for a reason. Let's see... I wonder what their punishment will be for you. Probably worse than what I first had in mind, at least. Hmmm... maybe traveling isn't even necessary. Maybe I could contact them another way."

Shira closed hir eyes and racked hir brain, trying to activate some part of hir draconic magic, some part that would let hir send a message. It almost bowled hir over as a blast of magic shot out from hir body, shooting up into the air like a beacon. It was strange how shi did it - shi couldn't explain, but it came instinctually.

Shi opened hir eyes. Urketh was still as stone, eyes wide with fear once more.

"That ought to attract the attention of someone," Shira purred. Shi sat back to wait, but shi didn't have to wait long. Not even three hours later, Shira could hear - and sense - the approach of dragons.

The heavy beating of wings grew louder and louder. Soon, three huge dragons landed in the forest clearing, surrounding Urketh. The largest of the three turned to Shira. It had silver scales and ancient eyes. Once the dragon spoke, Shira could tell it was a female - a matriarch of the family.

"Ah - we were wondering who put up such a crude beacon. I won't ask how you achieved such power because I think I can guess," she rumbled. "Thank you for telling us of this young one's whereabouts. We've been searching for him for a while. His disobedience and lawlessness will not go unpunished."

Urketh started to sob.

"Yes, Urketh," the dragon said, turning her neck to glare at him. "You'll be spending quite a few decades at Gol'surab for these infractions." She turned to the other two dragons. "Prepare the portal. We're sending him there right now."

Shira smiled. "I don't know what Gol'surab is, and I probably don't want to, but it sounds like a good place for him to go." Shi spat on the ground after standing up. "I don't want to look at him anymore - I'm leaving."

The matriarch looked back at hir. "You should know the changes this one inflicted on you are permanent," shi said. "It's unfortunate. We'll send someone to speak with you and see about making sure you're able to handle the changes - one of our mages."

"Thank you," Shira said. "I'm sure you'll know where to find me."

Shira left the four dragons there, leaving without another look back. When shi emerged from the forest, shi found Mookie waiting for hir with the cart.

"I knew you'd be back," he said. "I don't know why, but I knew it."

Shira climbed into the cart and hugged him closely. "Time to go."

In the distance, they heard an ear-piercing scream that was abruptly cut off. Shira knew it was Urketh and smiled. Mookie shivered. "What happened out there?"

"A few of Urketh's clan arrived. They were not happy with him either," shi said. "But enough of that. I don't want to think of it ever again."

Mookie smiled. "I understand."

Shira leaned over and kissed Mookie's cheek. Hir arm slipped around his waist as they traveled leisurely down the road. "Besides, I want to tell you about some of the benefits of my new dragon magic," shi said, grinning. Leaning over and whispering into his ear, shi started telling him what they'd be doing that night.

Mookie grinned. "You can really do that?"

Shira nodded. "Besides, I'd like to see you with a sheath to match these," shi purred, sliding hir hand into his pants. He grunted a little as hir fingers massaged his heavy balls.

"Umm... okay," he panted. "But... we ought to... oof... camp for the night then."

"We will," Shira said, giggling. Hir muzzle brushed over his ears as shi continued to tease him.

"Shira! Please, wait 'til we at least get off the road," Mookie moaned. His erection raged in his pants as Shira's fingers teased him further.

Shira grinned. "What's the fun in that?" shi purred, working a bit of magic. Mookie gasped as he felt hir whole paw wrap around his shaft.

"Shira... did you just..."

The calico grinned and nodded, smiling impishly from ear-to-ear.

"This is gonna be a long night..."
