Request written for ShadowWolf1994 about a trainer and his female Absol.

It was midmorning in Slateport City in the Hoenn Region. In the southern part of the city, the large, open air market was bustling with activity. Among the crowds of people walked a Pokémon Trainer, four Pokéballs attached to his belt. His name was Jason, and he was part way through a journey across Hoenn to challenge the Region's Gym Leaders, which was in itself a bit odd, as he had just started his journey in spite of already being eighteen. Even so he already had two badges, and he felt he had made good progress so far. Though, he felt most of the credit went to his team, which consisted of a Grovyle, a Wingull, an Aron, and an Absol.

He was proud of them all, and since they had the Stone Badge and the Knuckle Badge, they were headed for Mauville City so they could earn the Dynamo Badge from the Gym there. However, since it would take several days to reach Mauville from Slateport, Jason wanted to stock up on supplies before heading north, hence his current task of wading through the crowds in the marketplace.

A few hours passed spent buying and selling to get everything he needed in order to feel totally prepared for the trip ahead, which mostly meant food and medical supplies for his Pokémon. The latter was especially important to him, as he cared more about his Pokémon than anything else. Each one was precious to him, and he couldn't stand to see them in pain when they didn't have to be. The idea of losing any of them was enough to sadden him. He had taken the time to form a bond with each of them, and it showed when they battled.

His Grovyle had been his first Pokémon, obtained as a Treeko from Professor Birch. His Wingull had been the first wild Pokémon he had ever caught. He had wound up getting his Aron almost by accident when he stumbled across it in a cave while training for his previous Gym battle. Then there was his Absol. She was an odd sort of case. Most of the time, Absols were incredibly rare, and even when you could find one they were usually only found in northern Hoenn. But he had come across her just south of Rustboro City. When he found her she had appeared half starved, but with his help she had quickly bounced back to full health, and in the process had seemed to become fond of him, which had led to her capture. Since then she had proved to be a valuable Pokémon in a battle, as well as a steadfast friend.

She usually walked beside him in fact, but upon seeing the dense crowds in the market earlier that morning he had returned her to her Pokéball, promising to let her back out once they were back somewhere with fewer people. He now hurried to get out of the area, wanting to fulfil that promise as quickly as possible. Once he was clear of the crowds he reached down to his belt, plucked off her Pokéball and pressed the button on the front, causing his Absol to appear in a flash of blue tinted light.

She stretched out her body, as though she had been cramped within the capsule, her white fur rippling with her muscles, the silky hairs shining like snow under the sun. She then looked up at Jason with a contented look in her almond shaped red eyes and a small smile. "Sol Absol Ab?"

He smiled back. He didn't know exactly what she had asked, but he got the gist. "We're all ready to go."

She smiled a bit wider then. She was usually happy to leave cities behind, as she seemed to prefer wide open spaces. But then, she also didn't like cities because there were still people who believed the old stories about Absols bringing bad luck and disasters, and she didn't much care more the dirty looks she sometimes got. As far as Jason was concerned though, old superstitions didn't matter. He had no reason to believe she was unlucky, and he enjoyed her company, so he really didn't give a shit about what other people thought.

The two set off through the city, heading toward the north end of the city where they would pick up Route 110 which they would follow all the way to Mauville. As they neared the northern end of Slateport they could see a head that the main road was congested with foot traffic. Jason sighed. He didn't want to deal with more crowds who wouldn't move, and he didn't want to have to put Absol back in her Pokéball either.

He looked down at her and jerked his head toward one of the little side roads off the main street. "Come on, let's just go around."

She nodded and followed after him, and the effect of their choice was immediately clear. As they walked they found themselves encountering fewer and fewer people until finally they were all alone on the narrow side streets. Suddenly getting the feeling that they were too alone, Jason turned around, saying, "You know what, let's try a different way. This is deserted. I don't like it."

His uneasiness was vindicated a second later when he felt a sharp blow to the back of his head. He heard Absol cry out in shock as he pitched forward before the world went dark as he fell into unconsciousness.

***

When Jason woke the sun was hanging lower in the sky, and his head hurt horribly. Looking at his watch he could see he had been out for at least three hours. Feeling a bit dazed he stood and looked around, trying to remember what had happened. He remembered turning back down the street, then nothing, except for Absol's voice.

Then something clicked in his head. Absol was no where to be seen. He looked around frantically, and then spotted something on the ground. Kneeling down he could see that it was a splatter of dried red liquid. Blood. Looking ahead he could see a trail of similar drops leading down the street.

It looked as though whoever had struck him had taken Absol, possibly injuring her in the process as well. He clenched his fist, his body starting to shake. If she was hurt...

He shook his head. What was important right now was finding her, and the trail of blood was the only clue he had to follow. Standing back up he took off down the street, keeping an eye on the spots and smatters, hoping against all odds that it would lead him to Absol. As he followed it along the drops became more sporadic and scarce. But even with the difficulties in following it, he was still able to trace it to outside of a small warehouse near Slateport's harbour.

The warehouse was unmarked and incredibly small compared to the many larger storage buildings around it. Creeping along the aluminium wall, Jason found a door that was slightly open. The trail of blood stopped there. Jason pressed his ear against the door, trying to hear anything from inside. He could just barely pick out too male voices echoing through the little building.

"-mean would you just look at my hand? This little bitch isn't worth it if I have to get stitches. I say we pull her teeth out while we're at it! You know teach her a little lesson about what happens when you decide to bite."

There was the sound of metal hitting the floor and an exasperated sigh. "Would you shut up? We don't have time for your shit. She's not gonna stay sleeping for too long, and I'd rather not have her screaming and fighting back. We do this right and we can sell her horn for a lot of money, remember?"

"You better be right about that."

Jason backed away from the door, his mind racing. The blood wasn't Absol's, but if what he heard was any indication, she might be losing some all too soon. He had to do something. But what? He could get the police, but that would take too long, and it didn't sound like she could afford to wait. He gulped. His only real option was to try to go in and her back himself. He wasn't exactly much of a fighter though. Still, they had taken him by surprise before as opposed to just taking him out completely, so maybe he stood a chance.

Then a thought occurred to him. He still had his other three Pokémon, all of their Pokéballs attached to his belt. Maybe he could use them somehow. He would need something that could cover a good distance, but could also be focused to avoid hitting Absol in case she would be in the lien of fire. His best option would be to have his Grovyle use Bullet Seed.

He quickly walked about twenty feet away from the warehouse, and released his Grovyle, hoping that the distance would be enough to keep the men inside from overhearing. Grovyle took a quick look around then looked up at him curiously. "Grovyle?"

"Listen, some men took Absol, and we've gotta get her back, okay? I don't think I can fight two people on my own, so I'll need your help."

Grovyle nodded, and followed Jason as they crept back over to the door. It was quiet from within. Whatever they were doing in there, it seemed almost too quiet. Jason took a deep breath, and knowing he couldn't afford to wait any longer, he kicked open the door, the metal crashing as it collided with an interior wall. In the middle of the warehouse were two men kneeling down on the floor, one with a makeshift bandage on his right hand. Between them was Absol, unconscious and tied down. Beside her were a few less than pleasant looking tools, all which appeared to be designed for cutting. Luckily, she seemed to be unhurt.

Then men looked up in surprise at the sound of the door, their heads snapping up to look in Jason's direction. Wanting to waste no time while they were still surprised by his entrance, Jason called out, "Grovyle, Bullet Seed!"

One of the men was smart enough to dive to the floor and avoid the attack, but the one with the bandage on his hand wasn't so quick, taking a number a hard, seed like projectiles square in the chest, knocking him off his feet and causing him to smack his head against the hard floor of the warehouse.

Jason rushed into the building, headed straight for the other man who was just getting to his feet. Using whatever momentum he had built up Jason brought up his right arm and slammed his fist into the man's face, sending him sprawling to the floor and kicking up dust. In an instant Jason was on the man, pinning him to the floor with his knee on the man's chest. "Why did you take my Absol?"

The man spat out a glob of blood and grinned. "Because she's worth something, or at least part of her is. See that nice sickle shaped horn on her head? That's more than just decoration you know. Rumour has it those horns can sense disasters, and there are people out there who'll pay a couple thousand an ounce for something like that."

Jason snarled. "That's your reason?! Money?! You're disgusting!"

Not giving the man an opportunity to reply, Jason punched him square in the face, slamming the man's head against the ground at the same time, knocking him at and possibly giving him a concussion. "That was for the headache you gave me, and more importantly for Absol."

Getting up Jason wordlessly returned Grovyle to his Pokéball then made his way over to Absol. There were a few spots of blood in the corner of her mouth, but he figured that belonged to the man she had bitten. Otherwise she looked unharmed, if you didn't count being tied to the floor. Working quickly he removed her bonds then tried to rouse her.

When she didn't wake he put her into her Pokéball and walked out of the warehouse, intending to take her to the Pokémon Center to have her checked. As he walked out of the building he could see that the door locked from the outside. He decided to close and lock the door, and after he was sure Absol was taken care of he would let the police know exactly where to find the two unconscious thugs.

***

About two hours later Jason was sitting in the lobby of the Pokémon Center, waiting to hear how Absol was doing. He had already given the police a report of what had happened, and now his mind had shifted to concern for Absol. Even though she had seemed alright he couldn't help but wonder if she really was. If he had missed something or if she had something any broken bones or anything like that...he couldn't even bare the thought of her being in pain. It made his chest ache at just the image in his head.

Another half hour of worry and concern would pass before Nurse Joy finally returned. She was smiling as she approached, which Jason hoped was a good sign. He stood and asked without hesitation, "How's my Absol?"

Nurse Joy smiled comfortingly. "She'll be fine. She has a few bruises and it looks like she broke the tip off one of her teeth, but otherwise she'll be alright. She was a bit frightened when she first woke up, but that's only natural considering what she just went through. She's calmed down well and after we run just a couple more little tests she should be cleared to leave."

Jason breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you. I'm glad she's okay."

"You care about your Pokémon a lot. That's good. I'm sure you'll make for a great trainer." Nurse joy smiled again and walked away, leaving Jason alone.

He sat back down, feeling relief wash over him. In just a little while they would be back together. He couldn't wait to see her again, to hug her and feel her soft white fur brush against his face. He sighed again, but this time as a sign of contentment. They weren't back together yet, but it would be soon.

He blinked in surprise as he realised just how much his thoughts were dwelling on her. Sure he had been thinking of her a lot when he was worried about her, but why was she still so heavily on his mind now that he knew she was fine? He shook his head. It probably didn't really matter or mean anything. He was just happy she was alright.

It was another half an hour alter that Nurse Joy came out from the medical wing of the Center once again, this time with Absol following a few feet behind her. The moment she caught sight of Jason, Absol went rushing forward, running to him at full speed. He immediately dropped off his chair, getting down on his knees to intercept her at a height closer to her own.

Half a second later she nearly knocked him over, barely managing to maintain his balance as he hugged her tightly. She nuzzled him and tried to snuggle in closer, shaking slightly. She was still pretty upset about what had happened, he guessed. Trying to comfort her as best he could he whispered, "It's alright Absol. Everything is alright now."

Once Absol had calmed down the two of them booked a room in the Pokémon Center, intending to stay and rest for the night, and set out for Mauville again in the morning. With their day having been completely eaten away by all they had gone through, they could do little else but settle into their room.

When Jason opened the door he was greeted by the familiar sight of a small room with a single bed and an equally small adjoining bathroom. For most trainers this was the kind of room they would sleep in when they stayed in towns and cities, as it was free to stay at a Pokémon Center, and most trainers travelled on their own.

Jason dropped his bag next to the bed then dropped himself on it a moment later. He sprawled out over the top of the bed, feeling more than a bit worn out. A few quiet moments passed, and it occurred to him that something was wrong. Absol had yet to jump up onto the bed. Sitting up he saw that she was standing at the foot of the bed, starring silently, seemingly trying to decide something. He quirked a brow as he asked, "What's up Absol?"

No response came, except her sitting in front of him, still starring intently. Whatever was going on in her head, she didn't seem much inclined to answer. He rolled his eyes, smiling. It was rather like her to keep to herself. He reached down and ran a hand down her head and neck before leaning forward to hug her. "You know, I'm really glad you're okay. I was really worried there for a while there. More worried than I've ever been. I hate to say it, but I never really realised before today just how much I've come to care for you. We may not have known each other for long, but I already feel like we're pretty close, you know?"

He pulled away, smiling at her. "What about you though? You feel the same way?"

She canted her head, looking at him curiously. After a few seconds she nodded, and he smiled a bit wider. "Don't tell the others I said this...cause I do care a lot about all of you...but I honestly think you're the one who's most precious to me."

Absol's response to that was immediate and energetic, jumping onto him so her paws were in his lap and they were face to face, at which point she started giving him affectionate licks about the face and neck. He started laughing uncontrollably as he soft little tongue traced across his skin. "Come on! Knock that off! You know I'm ticklish!"

She pressed on though intent to show that she cared for him as much as he did for her. This resulted in him trying to back away, which only caused him to fall back onto the bed. She jumped up onto the bed then and continued to lick him as she now stood over him. Suddenly realising the position they were in, she stopped, blushing deeply. They were very close now. Closer than they had ever been. After taking a moment to catch his breath, Jason looked up at her dark blue face, smiling as he said, "I didn't know you could be so-"

He stopped cold. Her eyes were intently focused on him now, and he cheeks were showing red. He gulped, feeling his own cheeks grow warm as it occurred to him just how close to each other they were. Several moments passed in silence, each of them trying to make sense of the sudden upwelling of emotion both were experiencing.

Jason now looked at her and saw suddenly not just a Pokémon, not just a friend, but something more. He saw someone who he had been willing to risk his own safety to protect, and that he cared about deeply.

Absol suddenly found herself considering the fact that he had saved her. He had thrown himself in harms way just for her. What did that mean? More importantly, why was she feeling so suddenly nervous just looking into his eyes?

They both came to the only logical conclusion at almost the same time: somehow, their feelings for each other had developed beyond just friendship. At some point, with either realising it before, they had come to want more from each other. Without any warning or foreknowledge, they had come to love each other, and each could see it clear as day now in the other's eyes.

Jason gulped. "Um...Absol...I uh...well...you and I..."

She stopped him, licking his nose and smiling down at him, with a tender sort of expression he had never seen from her before. He took in a deep breath. "So then...does that mean that you might want to uh..."

She nodded, and his expression softened a bit. Were they really going to act on their feelings? He certainly liked the idea. Oddly, he didn't feel as though it were strange, or wrong. If anything, it just seemed to fit. "Um...just...one more question. Well, maybe two. Is it...is it true that Absol's can sense impending disasters?"

She hesitated then nodded. He then asked his final question for her. "So then...do you know if...if we do this...will it end in disaster?"

She thought for a moment about that. She didn't get any negative feelings about them, but she couldn't feel much about them to begin with. Realistically, she didn't know. She shrugged, looking apologetic.

He smiled and reached a hand up to her cheek. "It's okay. We'll just have to hope that the decision we make is the right one."

She leaned down and licked him again, the started to tug at his shirt collar with her teeth. He laughed and gently pushed her away. "Alright, settle down. Just let me get up for a second and I'll take care of it."

She reluctantly moved off him, allowing him to sit up once more. He pulled his shirt off over his head and tossed it aside then pulled his belt out of its loops and undid the button on his pants. He stood and slid off his pants, finally removing his boxers a moment later, exposing a growing erection to Absol's sight. She liked what she could see, and instead of feeling nervous as he had always thought he would when facing his first time, he was actually rather comfortable, leading him to wonder if that was in part because of it being with Absol.

He sat back down on the bed, blushing slightly as he looked over to Absol, who was eyeing him hungrily. "So uh...I guess I'll let you decide how we do this. I don't have any experience when it comes to this stuff."

She repressed the urge to laugh at his candour, especially because she had no right to laugh, considering she was also completely inexperienced. But then, she at least had instinct to go by. From what she had observed, humans didn't have much of a connection to their own natural inclinations, and apparently that even extended to breeding. Making sure he was paying attention, Absol walked a few paces up the bed and oriented herself so she was facing the headboard then spread her hind legs just far enough apart for her thighs to move aside and reveal the moistening pink slit that resided a few inches down from her tail. Absol turned to look over her shoulder and jerked her head, indicating for him to take up a position behind her.

He licked his lips, excited by the sight of her arousal. He was a bit concerned by the idea from taking her from behind, as her tail was hard and pointed, but then he figured he would probably be fine as he was rather certain she would be able to keep it under control. Taking a deep breath he got onto his knees and inched up behind her until his hips were pressed against hers, his erection brushing lightly against her swollen lower lips.

She was still looking back at him, starring intently. Looking up to meet her gaze he asked, "Are you certain about this? Cause there's no going back once we-"

"Absol!" She cut him off, growing a bit impatient due to the burning in her loins. Why did humans have to worry so much?

He fell silent for a second then started to laugh. She rolled her eyes as he bent over her, struggling to get himself under control. After a moment her two he rose back up, breathing a bit heavier. "Alright, sorry. No more time wasting then."

She smiled contentedly as he regained his composure, glad her wait was over. Jason placed his hands on her hips, enjoying the feel of her fur under his touch. He then took in a deep breath as he drew back from her slightly, aligning the tip of his manhood with her opening. Going slowly-almost too slow for Absol's taste-her parted her lips, and slid into her inch by inch until he was to his hilt. Surprisingly for both of them, it felt rather comfortable, being joined like that.

They were both breathing a bit faster even though both knew they had only just begun. He pulled back then hilted himself again, starting to hump her. She moaned quietly, turning her head away from him and she enjoyed the feeling of being stretched and filled by him. He let out a quiet moan of his own, loving how her insides gripped and pulled at him, the tight walls engulfing him with their heat.

He increased his pace, wanting to feel more of the friction caused by her inner muscles. She started to shudder slightly as he pushed harder against her, each thrust driving him just a little bit deeper. His breathing was coming in ragged bursts and she was panting heavily as both could feel their bodies growing ever closer to release, their hormones screaming for them to keep going until they finished.

Each thrust was now so fast it pushed her forward with each impact with a muffled thump as he bounced off her fur. His speed...the way he was poised over her and gripped her so tight...the sensation of him filling her so completely each time his hips met hers...it was all so much. And finally, after only a few more moments it proved to be too much, resulting in her crying out as her climax washed over her, warmth spreading through her body as he muscles gripped and squeezed him even tighter, causing him to climax as well, letting off two or three bursts of his cream into her body.

They sat there quietly for a few minutes, the only sounds being those of their breathing as they basked in the afterglow. Whatever happened to them now, they were bonded in a way they couldn't go back on.

With what willpower he could muster, Jason pulled out of her and lied down on the bed, his chest still moving a bit more heavily than was normal. Absol lied atop him, nuzzling his neck, and he smiled down at her. He kissed her on top of her head and she looked up to him with her sparkling red, almond shaped eyes. He pressed his forehead to hers, placing a hand on the back of her head. He sighed contentedly and whispered, "I love you."

She licked his nose, returning the sentiment then both drifted happily off to sleep, both thinking that in spite of how their day had gone, it couldn't have had a better ending.

Never...the end...
