Narrator- After Defeating Commander Mars, Wolf and friends head back to the Pokemon Center with their new friend and ally Fang the Gible. Unfortunately their celebration of victory was cut short as Merciless took control of Wolf once again and attacked his friends until Aurora's voice was the only thing that went through to him and could finally allow him to retake control.

Wolf's Pov

"Damn him!" I said as I stood up and punched the wall hard.

"Wolf..." Aurora said.

"That son of a bitch did it again!" I yelled.

"Wolf, it's okay..." She said trying to calm me down.

"If only I could get my hands on him for doing this! For hurting you and our friends!" I yelled more.

"Wolf please..."She said getting scared and whimpering while holding my arm.

"I just... I just can't take it anymore Aurora... the way he hurts you and everyone else... One day I will destroy this monster and make him pay... I swear it." I said calming down.

"For now he's gone Wolf and everyone's safe..." She said.

"I know..." I said.

"Wolf... please don't be angry... it scares me." She said.

"I'll try but, with how everything has been going on lately it's so hard to."

Raiden's Pov

"uggghhh my head..." I said as I got up and opened my eye's to see Aurora and MERCILESS!

"YOU SON OF A BITCH!" I yelled as I used a Bite to attack him but, only to be caught under my arms by him. I started to growl with electricity going through my body.

"Raiden, calm down it's me, Wolf!" I heard him say and stopped growling, my best friend is back?

"Wolf, is it really you?" I said.

"Yeah, little guy it's me." He said smiling. He's Back!

"Yes!" I said wagging my tail with happiness.

"It's good to be back and to see your okay Raiden." He said sitting in the chair next to him with me lying on his lap. He then started to rub my back.

"Are the other going to be okay?" I asked worried.

Don't worry Raiden, they don't have any injuries they were just knocked out." Aurora said.

"Thank Arceus..." I said as I looked over at Sapphire with a sad expression.

"Wolf, can we please talk about something... alone?" I asked.

"Sure, Aurora could you give me and Raiden a minute to talk?" Wolf asked.

"Okay." She said walking into the bathroom.

"(Sigh)" I sighed.

"You really like her don't you?" Wolf asked.

"Yeah..." I said crying.

"Why are you crying buddy?" He asked with worry while now rubbing my head.

"I wasn't strong enough... to protect her." I said.

"Raiden you were strong, the way you went and attacked Merciless knowing that you weren't a match was brave of you." He said with love that a trainer always shows to their Pokemon.

"But, I promised... I wouldn't let anything happen to her!" I said breaking down.

"Raiden, when you make a promise it means to keep it but, what matters is that you tried what you said you would do for her and I bet right now she is happy with what you did." He said smiling.

"It's okay, Rai." He said rubbing my back again and I started to calm down.

"Thank you... Wolf." I said as I hugged him and fell asleep.

Wolf's Pov

After helping Raiden calm down he slowly fell asleep hugging me and I hugged him back in a loving way. I slowly got up and walked while holding him and gently put him down on the bed.

"Aurora you can come out now." I said. She then came out and saw Raiden sleeping with strands of tears on his face.

"What happened with Raiden, Wolf?" She asked.

"He needed comfort in a friend who could help him feel better, I did just that." I said.

"We should check on the others." Aurora suggested.

"Good call." I said. We then walked over to them and I grabbed Inferno while Aurora grabbed Fang.

"Come on little guy, wake up." I said giving the fire type monkey a few soft slaps. Aurora tried shaking the Gible awake but, that didn't succeed either. All of a sudden my hands started giving off Aura and healed what seemed like a bump on Inferno's head, probably when he hit it.

"Huh?" I said confused putting Inferno down on the bed as well.

"Is this what I think it is?" I said noticing the familiar technique.

Flashback- 15 years ago

"Wow mommy, you healed my cut!" I said.

"Amazing, isn't it Wolf? It's a power we Lucario's have that can heal wounds using Aura." My mother said.

"Thanks mommy, I love you." I said as I hugged her.

"I love you too, my baby boy." She said returning the hug as we both laughed.

End of Flashback

'Wolf... you healed Inferno's bump, how did you do that." Aurora asked putting Fang down while looking at my hands in awe which still radiated Aura.

"I don't know how I did it but, I do know it's a power Lucario's are known to have, in fact my mother had it." I answered.

"Well how does it work?" She asked.

"I think you just have to focus your Aura into your hands or paws and touch the part of the person or Pokemon's body that he or she is feeling pain on." I replied.

"I don't know if I can do that Wolf, I haven't learned how to use Aura yet." She said rubbing her arm.

"I'll teach you." I said with a smile.

"You will?" She said wagging her tail in excitement.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Thank you!" She replied jumping on me.

"Aurora, watch the spike!" I said.

"Whoa, sorry." She said getting off.

"Anyway, let's try with Sapphire." I said picking her up.

"That cut on her cheek must really hurt." She said.

"Alright Aurora, concentrate." I instructed.

Aurora's Pov

"I hope I don't mess this up, here goes." I said trying my best to radiate Aura on my paws. It started for a brief second but, faded away.

"Darn it." I said.

"It's okay Aurora, nobody can get it on the first try, try again." He said. I tried again but, it still didn't work.

"What am I doing wrong?" I asked myself.

"Aurora, for it to work you have to relax, don't tense up. Give it one more try." He said.

"I can do this, I know I can." I said as I relaxed all my muscles and breathed calmly, then before I knew it, in front of my eyes my paws were radiating with a beautiful Aura.

"I did it! Thank you, Wolf! Your the best!" I said feeling happy that I accomplished to use my Aura.

"I happy that you managed to do it as well Aurora, now put your paw on Sapphires cheek." He said. I then slowly put my paw over her cut and it slowly healed like it was never there.

"Yes!" I said with excitement.

"Your one happy Canine." Wolf said chuckling, I pulled him over, gave him a loving kiss as well as a hug.

"Thank you..." I said.

"It was nothing..." He said returning my hug.

"Ow, my head..." Said a familiar voice, it was Inferno!

"Ow is right, my cheek kinda hurts..." Said another, Sapphire!

Inferno's Pov

"It's Merciless!" I shouted in fear as he came closer.

"No, get away!" I said trying to slap his hands away.

"Inferno, relax I'm not going to hurt you!" He said, Wolf?

"You had me panicked there for a moment." I said regaining my breath.

"Same here, after he cut my cheek like that I thought... what happened to my cut?" Sapphire asked confused.

"Gone." Aurora said.

"How?" I asked.

"We used our Aura to heal you up, especially you Inferno, you had a pretty nasty bump." Aurora said.

"So that's why my head started to hurt a little." I said with surprise.

"That's some amazing power you guys have, thank you." Sapphire said. I stared over at Rose and Fang, who were still out cold.

"Have you tried waking them up yet?" I asked.

"Not Rose yet but, Fang we already tried." Aurora answered.

"Wait, where's Raiden?" Sapphire and me asked with worry.

"He's behind you guys." Wolf said as I looked back and saw him sleeping with dried tears in his eyes.

Sapphire's Pov

"Raiden..." I said going over to him, and I noticed the tears in his eyes.

"Wolf, what happened to Raiden?" I asked.

"He regained consciousness before any of you did and he had some problems he had trouble with and wanted to talk about it with me, he's okay now." He said coming over and rubbing his back.

"He also tried to stop Merciless from hurting you even more when you passed out." Inferno said.

"Raiden... protected me?" I said looking back at him.

"He did." Aurora said.

"He kept his promise... he... really does care... about me... Raiden..." I thought starting to form tears in my eyes. I then cuddled next to him and felt... happy... and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Rose's Pov

"ugghh..." I said getting up and feeling kinda woozy. Then I noticed everyone.

"You guys are okay!" I said cheerfully.

"Rose!" Inferno said happily while running over and giving me a hug.

"Inferno!" I said with joy.

"I'm glad your not hurt." He said.

"Same here." I said.

"Rose check out the bed." Inferno said whispering with a smile.

"Oh my Arceus!" I said as I saw Sapphire and Raiden cuddling and sleeping.

"Lovebirds." Inferno said.

"They look so cute together." I said.

"Ahem?" I heard Wolf say.

"What?" Inferno said confused.

"Your forgetting about Fang." Aurora said.

"I think I know how to get him up." Inferno said. Inferno then went over to the kitchen fridge and grabbed a raw piece of meat and came back and put it in front of Fangs nose.

"(2x Sniff) Is that... food!?" Fang said getting up and quickly snatched the piece of meat to which he ate whole.

"Wow, nice one buddy." Wolf said to Inferno.

"If I do know one thing, it's that he really really likes food... a lot." He said smiling.

Fang's Pov

"That tasted so good!" I said about the delicious meat I devoured.

"Well, it seems everyone is okay." Wolf said.

"Your alter ego really scares me man." I said.

"Don't worry, we won't be seeing him for a while." He replied.

"I really hope so, he's a freaking psycho." I said.

"His laugh is very scary and intimidating too." Rose said.

"Not to mention he can also use your powers." Inferno said.

"I'm worried to Wolf, how can we beat him if he's using your powers against us, we can't just beat you down either, I don't want to hurt you." Aurora said.

"You guys have too, just don't use anything lethal on me and I'll be alright, trust me." Wolf said.

Wolf's Pov

"I trust you Wolf, I just hope I don't end up regretting what you said." Aurora said.

"Good to hear, anyway guys we have to put this behind us now and go to bed, we have a gym battle with Roark tomorrow and we can't miss it." I said.

"Gotcha, I'll take his Pokemon down without breaking a sweat." Inferno said.

"Don't get to Cocky." Rose said.

In Bed...

"I can't believe it Wolf, our first Gym Battle is tomorrow." Aurora said smiling.

"I'm just as excited as you are Aurora, I just know we can win." I said.

"Wolf..." She said.

"Yeah?" I replied.

"I love you." She said. I touched her face and gave her a kiss.

"I love you too." I said as I held her waist and fell asleep together.

Narrator- As Wolf and friends finally put aside the Merciless Wolf issue, they all go to bed and get ready for the battle with Oreburghs Gym Leader Roark to earn their first badge.
