Male Trainer / Female Drapion

Mitch held his side as blood welled up in a nasty rose colored reminder that the life of a pokemon trainer was a hard and vicious road at times. He out ran his pursurer but he was lost and his bag was stolen by the sandslash still lurking in the caves. He didn't have a pokemon to his name, his team was fainted and what good would the level one ratata be in this hell he brought himself too?

His torch was fading fast and he wouldn't have much of a chance with the Zubats once it died. He groaned as he used what little light he had to put on his bandages and check himself for wounds. He notices that his ankle had swollen and it hurt to move his foot. He watches as his torch light flickered out and left him in the darkness.

He could hear the chattering of creatures in the darkness, his heart was racing as his eyes swam from the blood loss. "I really don't want to- OUCH!" He felt a something sting his leg and he blackout from the pain and weariness. He could feel his body moving in the rough dirt and rocks, he couldn't move but he did want to scream as he felt something burning his sides. Maybe he was at a doctors office and they were burning the wound close.

It felt like forever before Mitch opened his eyes. The first thing he noticed was that he was laid out in the sand outside the cave and there something large above. It shielded him from the cruel heat and it...was snoring. He noticed that it had a scorpion tail and that set him off. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" He screamed at the top of his lungs and the creature above him moved quickly and started swiping at the sand and looking around.

Mitch was shivering and looking at the large pokemon, this was his second time seeing one and the last encounter wasn't pleasant. The Drapion looked over him and scuttled closer, "Hiiisss." The creature approached him and poked over his body looking at his face for pain. He winched at it's prodding of his ankle but he was too scared to scream in case it decided to tear him to bits. The creature turned around and headed into the cave leaving him in the sun, he noticed from its smaller tail and smaller pectines that this was a female drapion,he waited for some time before she returning with a small potion.

The trainer watched as the scorpion-like pokemon attempted to use the potion and fail, even managing to some how squirt herself in the face. "HIISSSSS!!" She screamed and scuttled back before blinking the refreshing substance out of her face.

"Hand it here. I'll use it." The Drapion looked at him and back to the bottle, then to his hands, then to her claws. She nodded and gave him the bottle. He looked at it and squirted on his ankle, he sighed when it didn't do much other than dull the pain a little. "This is meant for pokemon, It still help a lot. Thank you." He reached over to pet her and she shivered happily, her tail dropping in relaxation. "Do you have a name?"

The drapion nodded and used her claws to carve out her name out in the soft sand. He read her name, it was upside down and poorly written but it was readable. "Kate?" He said and she bared her fangs in what he hoped was a smile. "I owe you my life, Kate. I was down to my last pokemon and I got stung in the darkness." It dawned on him, she probably stung him. "Did you sting me, Kate."

'Stung you, get stronger, Fat Man, Heavy without sting.' She wrote in the ground, and Mitch chuckled before nodding, he heard of the move fell sting before and was impressed that the pokemon would use it on him just to save his life. She continued to write, 'Mate dead, no home, live cave, bad shew, kill Kate Mate.'

Mitch nodded and understood, "I'm so sor-" He started to cough, his throat was dry from the sun. "Water." He coughed out, Kate nodded and started to dig in place till she was deep underground in seconds. The pokemon popped out of the dirt near him, She looked at him and pressed her face to his her large tongue pushing his open as she let the water in her mouth slowly flow into his mouth. Mitch drank the life giving water as if was the purest substance in world.

After he finished drinking Kate continue to move around her tongue in his mouth in a kiss. She pulled back and scuttled away before writing again. 'Sorry, Miss Mate, Mate Man, You Man.' Mitch nodded and looked at the very unappealing creature before him but he is grateful for all the help that he received from the pokemon.

Kate started to write once again, 'More Water?' She then drew a heart around the words. Mitch had to smile, it could have been the heat, or maybe it was just the loneliness of being a trainer but Mitch found himself becoming rapidly endeared to the ogre scorpion saving his life.

"No no you little flirt, I need to get into the shade." He spoke and Kate nodded she started to wiggled and dance in a very provocative way, she even raised her tail and started to swing it wildly, she was painting and hissing quietly before the sky over them started to darken and rain started to fall.

"You knew rain dance this whole time? Why didn't you use it earlier?" Mitch asked as the Drapion hissed and wrote in the muddy sand. She scraped out the words before Mitch could see it and wrote again before moving out of the way

'Hard dance.' Kate placed her arm pincers over her face as if it was hiding a blush. Mitch smiled before she stood over him covering him from the rain. She looked at him with her large eyes and gave what Mitch took to be a smile. She leaned in and placed her smooth mouth against his and gave him another kiss. Her tongue explored his mouth, he returned the kiss and smiled.

"So your old trainer was one of those kinda trainers?" Mitch said when Kate broke this kiss. She placed her pincers over her face and nodded with a quiet hiss. "Don't worry I'm not going to judge you. Um.... How would like to come along with me when my leg gets better."

Kate looking down at him, she looked thoughtful as the rain made soft rumbling noises as it struck her hard exoskeleton. She nodded and he smiled, "Good. Just let me rest a little more and I'll take you along." He wrapped his hand around the female and hugged her tight as he started to relax, he slowly dozed off.

When he awoke his leg as feeling much better and the swelling went down slightly. He slowly got to his feet and noticed that Kate was sleeping next to him, she was wearing his backpack. "Hey.. Kate?" She snorted and woke up with a smile. "Hissssssssssssssssss!!" She waved her claws at him and that when he noticed that she was standing near a very beaten and very bruised looking sandslash.

"Wow. How did you..." His question was answer the moment he looked at her face and noticed that she has a soft fog coming from them. "Ice fang..." He quickly took out his spare pokeball and tossed it at Kate. She was taken in by the bright light and didn't not resist. A few moments later he tossed out the pokeball and Kate stood there with her claws over her face again.

"Now you are officially my pokemon. Care to lead your poor sore trainer out of this desert?" Mitch asked, Kate responded with a his and placed her claw around his hand. She walked slowly and gently holding her other claw over her face. "Your blushing aren't you?" Mitch teased her as the pair walked toward the nearest poke-center, Kate continued to cover her face but her tail was raised in and affectionate gesture.
