Todd blinked and quickly sat up in bed. He looked around his darkened bedroom. His computer, desk, and clothes pile looked like sinister wraiths in blackness.
"Is anyone there?" he asked.
Todd was sweating and hot, but he didn't know why. The window to his room was open, letting in a cool summer breeze. His bedcovers were minimal. There was no reason for him to be as overheated as he was.
He was scared too, and Todd didn't know why either. It was like he knew that something bad was about to happen, but didn't know exactly what. Todd's heart pounded loudly in his chest as his mind raced.
Todd turned and put his feet on the floor. He ran a paw through the brown fur on his chest. Todd was a brown bear about seventeen years old. He wasn't very athletic and it showed; he was a little bit overweight. Chubby, yes, but not even close to being obese.
Todd got up off his bed and went to turn on the light. He looked around his room. Nothing was wrong; everything was in its place. He looked at the digital alarm clock beside his bed. Two-thirteen in the morning.
He went outside and into the house's back hall. Light from his room flooded out. Except for the floor creaking, it was quiet. Todd groaned and figured since he was up, he might as well go and get himself a nightcap.
Sighing, Todd went downstairs to the kitchen, turning the lights on as he went. He opened the fridge and got out the jug of milk. Then he went and sat down at the kitchen table to nurse a big glass of the white stuff.
There was a copy of the lightweight local paper - the Hixon Star - on the table. It was lightweight both physically and in terms of the quality of its journalism. For lack of anything better to do, Todd started reading it. He knew it would soon make him tired.
Mostly the paper talked about scout fundraising drives, high school football, gardening, hunting, and other small town things. There was a small blurb about how five separate farmers had all seen a UFO in the past week. Nothing ever happened in Hixon, Arizona â€" never mind anything big.
Todd chuckled when he read the UFO article. There was an air force base near town and the authorities there were claiming that what the farmers saw was just a test flight: "it's classified." Who could really say for certain what was going on? The farmers could have just as easily been seeing swamp gas â€" the air force certainly didn't need to dignify their story.
Todd finished up his milk and went back to his room. He bent down and reached under his mattress. This was where he kept his secret stash of pornography.
Todd pulled out a magazine. The title on the cover was something unrepeatable, yet remarkably simple and easy to remember. Too easy.
After finding suitable page full of naughty pictures, Todd sat down on his bed. He leaned against the wall and his pillows.
Then he got straight down to business. Todd reached into his sky-blue pyjama bottoms and put a paw around his flaccid cock. The member instantly sprang to life as Todd fondled it. He began to stroke himself.
Todd's sock was short and fat. It was also warm from being cooped in pyjamas. The member pulsed steadily as blood flowed through it.
Todd ran his other paw under his furry testes and felt around for his anus. He stuck a finger into his warm hole and felt around for his prostate. He found the gland quickly and began stimulating it as best he could. This elicited a pleasant, erotic tingle from within his bowels.
He quickly forgot the magazine, which was knocked off his bed by the motion of Todd's stroking. Todd had his eyes closed and was thrusting up into his hand, arching his back in bed. Despite his efforts, his masturbation session was no better than usual.
Todd's cock didn't take long to spit out white, gooey semen. Not a whole lot, of course, just a few squirts and that was it. Todd felt a little disappointed. He looked up at the ceiling and sighed deeply.
As Todd lay there in bed thinking about nothing in particular, the room suddenly began to flood with light. Slowly but surely, the darkness was replaced with white â€" pure, unadulterated white. Todd gasped in surprise as he wondered what was going on.
Todd blinked. Everything was still white â€" just white, nothing else. He was no longer in his room â€" either that, or he had somehow gone snowblind in a big way. He was lost and alone, still in his pyjamas and still lying down. He was on a hard surface, not on his soft matress.
"Hello?" Todd said weakly, hoping his parents might hear him and shake him out of his nightmare. If it was even a nightmare.
As if on command, the space where todd now was took on more definition. Walls showed themselves. The tint of the light shifted to a more normal gentle golden glow. No longer blinded, Todd sat up and looked around.
Everything looked like it was made of white plastic. It even felt like plastic, but it probably wasn't really. Todd was seated on a square lump in the middle of the room with rounded corners that bulged out of the floor.
"Where am I?" Todd asked the empty air, his voice no longer shaky.
A gentle, male voice replied, seemingly everywhere at once in the room. It also seemed to be in Todd's head, too. "You are in Atlantis, several miles under what you uplanders call the Atlantic Ocean. You will come to no harm and you will soon be returned home."
Todd looked down at the floor and said nothing.
The voice continued: "You were chosen at random, sedated, taken aboard one of our craft and brought here. Let us now begin the session. Two attendants will enter the room and take you. Go easily and your time here will be as easy as we can possibly make it."
A panel in the wall slide open and the two attendants walked in. They were marine mammals. Orcas to be exact. They were also big and burly, frighteningly similar to orderlies at mental institutions. The orcas also had no clothes on at all, and their pink cocks hung out for all the world to see.
"Uh, hi," Todd ventured, making an attempt to communicate.
The attendants said nothing. Each took one of Todd's arms. Then they led the young bear out of the room.
Todd was brought out into a long, tall corridor. Again, everything was white. Except for the ceiling â€" that was a window looking up into the ocean. Todd gasped when he realized he was indeed underwater. Deep underwater â€" probably miles below the surface.
The attendants led Todd into a smaller room. It was a medical bay of some sort. A padded, slanted examination table was in the middle of the room. All sorts of strange, weird â€" and sharp â€" implements were arranged on carts surrounding the exam table. A mess of tubes and other tools dangled from the ceiling. Control panels covered the walls.
Todd struggled as the attendants strapped him onto the table with tight, rubbery cuffs. His stomach bulged up towards the ceiling grotesquely. Todd was completely exposed and absolutely vulnerable.
He shivered, even though the air in the room was fairly warm. Though he would never admit it, Todd was absolutely terrified. Stoic, he worked hard to keep from crying. They said they'd return him. Hopefully, it would all be over soon. Todd especially hoped the sea creatures wouldn't do anything that hurt.
The attendants stood at attention as a third orca entered. He was obviously the one in charge, even though he didn't look different from the other two. The boss approached Todd and looked down at his ursine captive.
"What do you want with me?" Todd asked, his lip trembling.
"I am Kudra. We will be implanting you with a symbiote, which you will then pass on to those on the surface. It will spread."
"Why?" Todd queried, a little confused.
"The symbiote will alter the evolutionary process by creating a hybrid race capable of dwelling in the water and on the land. It will merge your DNA with ours."
"But don't you-"
"Our civilization is dying. Evolution here has not kept pace with us, so we are doomed to extinction if we stay here. You will be one of our torchbearers, replenishing the world and carrying on our legacy."
"Why are you telling me this?"
"It doesn't matter what you know," Kudra told Todd, "because your mind will be wiped before we return you home. You won't remember anything that happened here. The world will never know how we directed its development. For by the time hybridization is complete, we will have emigrated to a distant world in another more hospitable to our civilization. Let us begin."
Kudra reached down and grasped a hand around Todd's cock. Todd gasped, mostly in horror. But the Atlantean was gentle and his smooth, cool skin was perfect for pleasuring. Although he certainly didn't want it, Todd began to have an erection.
"Stop!" Todd suddenly managed to shout. Kudra didn't stop, since he already had Todd fully erect and standing in his hand.
Kudra rubbed his other hand on Todd's tummy to calm his captive. He motioned for one of the attendants to bring a collection bowl. When the bowl was in position, Kudra stroked Todd fast and hard mercilessly, like he was milking a cow. Most of Todd's semen ended up in the bowl, but a lot of it also went all over his chest and onto the table.
"Good work, Todd," Kudra said as he patted a panting Todd on the shoulder.
The attendants took the bowl away. For a few moments they did something with it at a workbench at one end of the room. "We must modify the symbiote to your genetic makeup to ensure a harmonious coexistence," Kudra elaborated.
As the attendants did their work, Kudra put Todd's legs and feet up on the table's stirrups to spread them. His small, tight hole was exposed to his captors. Kudra took one of the hoses hanging from the ceiling and held it in front of Todd.
"This will deliver the symbiote. Your body will absorb it quickly."
The hose had a shiny metal, cone-shaped nozzle. Kudra took it and slowly inserted into Kudra's anus. It hurt a little, since Todd had never had anything thicker than one of his fingers up there. Todd's sphincter closed around groove at the top of the nozzle and the hose was secure.
Once the hose was in place, the attendants finished what they were doing and began operating some of the room's control panels. A thick black liquid began to flow quickly down the clear hose and into Todd's ass. "Relax," Kudra said gently.
Todd couldn't stop the symbiote from filling him up. The stuff quickly expanded inside him, making his stomach baloon far beyond its normal size. Todd cried out in pain as his body was stretched by the unwanted substance. He had trouble breathing for a few seconds as his chest tightened under the pressure from his intestines. Kudra rubbed Todd's stomach and this helped relieve the pain a little.
Then suddenly the pressure seemed to give within Todd. The harsher pains went away and Todd's stomach shrank gradually back to its normal size, more than a little sore. Yet nothing had burst. Todd had absorbed the symbiote. He was a host.
The hose was removed and another collection bowl was quickly brought over. Kudra began stroking Todd once more to make him cum again. Todd came quickly, and only produced a little semen.
But this time his seed was black, not white. Todd, while tired from the experience, was utterly mortified; he had been changed against his will. He screamed, loudly. "No!"
"We are successful," Kudra said calmly to the attendants before returning his attention to Todd. "The symbiote will co-exist with you. You will not know it is there until it is time for you to mate. It will not affect your mental state or appearance in any way. When you mate, it will merge with your partner to spread."
As Kudra finished giving his instructions, the light in the room suddenly began to brighten, as if it were on cue. It was the same thing that had happened to Todd before when he was in bed. With any luck, he would be going home.
"Wait!" Todd shouted in vain as the whiteness quickly enveloped him and the Atlanteans faded away. "I don't-!"
When Todd woke up, it was nine in the morning. Sunlight shone in brightly through the window. He was sweating profusely and his heart was pounding. Scratching his head, he had the distinct feeling there was something important he couldn't remember. Something life-changing.
It was like something had happened the night before but he didn't know what it was. Todd stood up and stretched, yawning. As far as he was concerned, he'd probably just had a nightmare â€" nothing more.
Oh well, Todd thought. Time to go and face the day, to get out there and do something. Carpe diem. Life would go on.
