When the team arrives at the Sun Keep, they find it looks exactly the same. They go inside and find an old corpse by the Northern wall. They approach very carefully and find that the corpse appears to have been moved recently. They take a closer look and Caroline notices something...

"I don't think it is dead!"

"What? Of course it's dead. Why would you think it wasn't?"

"Well for starters, its eyes are moving."

"What?"

"Also, it appears to be trying to grab your hand!"

"AACK!!" Chrono yells as the corpse grabs his arm with an inhuman amount of strength. With his sword, he cuts off the arm before the thing can bite him. Then Caroline casts "Fire" and the zombie is incinerated. When the zombie was gone, the wall behind it opened because the zombie was placed on a switch which kept the door shut. They enter the cave and head down the stairs. Once they reach the end of the stairs, a stone wall appears blocking the stairs from entrance. They are trapped!

"Ok great! The dragon led us to our own death!"

"I don't think so."

"Why?"

"Because I just saw something head down those stairs across the room."

"Well let's go!"

As they run across the room, they manage to dodge certain death as a horde of arrows are shot from the other side of the hall. Picking up the speed, they reach the end of the room just as the path they took falls away.

"That was too close!"

"Hey there it is. It's a ... FOX!!"

"Accersitus!!" Caroline yells causing the fox to turn and look at them confusion in its eyes. They realize it is not Accersitus but it is a golden fox just like her.

"HEY!! Who are you?!?" Caroline now yells causing the fox to turn and flee towards the end of the room. They follow quickly and are able to keep up with the mysterious fox. They follow it step for step and avoid all the traps because the fox knew how to avoid the traps which would kill most people. The fox leads them unknowingly on the safe path through the ruins. They make sure they are far enough away for it not to hear them but close enough for them to see it. The fox finally stops in a large room with a pedestal in the middle of it. On the pedestal there is a gold ring. The fox grabs the ring and turns seeing that he was followed.

"Who are you? How were able to avoid the traps?"

"We followed you. Who are you and do you know Accersitus?"

"I am Canis. How do you know my master?"

"She abducted one of our friends and we want him back!"

"I know of no such person. Unfortunately now I will have to kill you now because I am not allowed to let anyone enter this room and live." While saying this, Canis brought his hand up with two fingers extended and they started to spark. "Ligamen levitas!" A rope of lightning burst from his fingers and went right at the group. They all jump out of the way but the lighting turns and hits Frog in the foot. It knocks him right out. Then drawing his sword, Canis charged at them.

"YAAHHHHHH!!!" Canis yelled as he charged at Ayla and when he brought his sword down to slice, Ayla grabbed it stopping it where it was. "What? Ugh!" Canis said as Ayla yanked the sword from his hands and kicked him in the gut. "Not bad" Canis said as he turned just in time to grab Chrono's throat and stop his sword from cutting him in two. He threw Chrono at Ayla knocking them both into the wall knocking them both out. He then went for Caroline who was trying to wake frog up. Grabbing her by the throat, he lifted her up until her feet were off the ground. Then bringing up two fingers that once again began to spark, he moved his hand back to jab at her neck.

Wham!! "Ugh! Mast... master forgive me!" Canis said as he began to lose consciousness due to the blow that Ayla gave him in the back of the neck. They take the ring from Canis's unconscious body and go to wake Chrono and Frog up. Chrono rips some of his shirt to bind Canis's hands and feet together and make a muzzle. Then Caroline opened a portal to the town and they enter it and carry Canis with them they make their way to the priest. They ask the priest to block Canis's magic and to enchant some shackles so they will not break. They then carry Canis to the basement of the inn that they had rented until they were ready to leave. They shackle Canis's arms and legs to the bed and they muzzled him so he would listen to them when he woke up.

"Mph?" Canis said as he slowly came to. He had not expected to be alive now and was very confused. As he opened his eyes, he saw the group and his eyes grew wide with fear.

"Now look, we are not going to hurt you. You can't use your magic because we have it blocked so you will not be able to get free." Canis did not believe them and tried to cast a spell. But nothing happened! He tried to break the shackles when Caroline said "You can't break them they are magically enchanted to be indestructible. Basically Canis, you are trapped. Now I am going to remove the muzzle and you will tell us what we want to know or else. Ok?" Canis nodded his eyes still showing his fear. Caroline removes the muzzle and asks "Where is Robert?"

"Who?" Canis answered. Caroline told everyone else to leave so she could get answers her way. Chrono and the rest saw no reason to argue and left closing the door.

"Now, where is Robert?"

"I don't know who you are talking about." Canis answered as calmly as he could even though he was more scared than ever before.

"Pity. Any harm I do to you I will heal. I ask you one more time. Where is Robert??"

"I really don't know who you are talking about!" Canis replied right before Caroline replaced the muzzle pulling it as tight as possible. "The only problem about what you are saying is that I don't believe you. Clearly you need your tongue loosened." "NNN!" Canis cried as Caroline began to drag her claws against his dusty body. "Dust? You're not a golden fox! What color are you then? Well we had best wash this dust off. Good thing they have a bathing pond down here." Caroline said as she chained his arms together and his legs together with two other pairs of shackles. She unlocked the other two holding him to the bed and then picked him up and carried Canis to the pond.

"I hope you can swim."

"WT?? NNN PPPLLLLSSSS NNN!!" Canis yelled as tears began to fall from his face.

"Oh well." Caroline said as she tossed him in the pond.

"NNNNN!!!!" splash!

"Here I come fox!" Caroline said as she jumped in after him to prevent him from drowning. Splash! She pulls up a thrashing soaking fox. This soaked fox had a kind of electric yellow fur color and his ears and tail were silvery gray.

"Hmm! You are a very dusty fox. Well I had best get the soaps for you."

"NNNN DNTTT LVVV MMM HRRRRRRR PLSSSSS!!!"

"Leave you hear and let you drown before I learned anything? Never!" Caroline says as she tosses Canis out of the water. She then leaves and Canis gets to think about what is going on.

‘Who is this Robert?' Why does she torture me in water? I hate water!' Canis had an irrational fear of water and he had strange dreams of him being a human and having his face held underwater until he drowned. He had avoided getting into large bodies of water; even to clean himself. ‘I was only doing as my master ordered me too!' The door opens again and Caroline walks down with soap to wash off the fox.

"Alright Canis, back in the water!" "NNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" "You don't like the water do you? Caroline asks and Canis just shook his head as hard as he could. "Then this should make you willing to talk!" Caroline says as she grabs his squirming form and jumps in with him. She goes up to the surface and holds the chains binding his arms so he does not sink too far but she does not pull him up.

‘She is going to drown me!!!' Canis thought to himself as he began to thrash and squirm. He only managed to use up his air and he soon began to lose consciousness. Before he was fully gone, he was pulled up and the muzzle removed allowing him to breathe. He is barely conscious as she begins to wash him off. He completely goes out when his head is put back under the water. When he woke up again, he thought he was dead. He was not bound and was able to move. He got up from the bed and started towards the door. Then he heard a voice that froze his blood.

"Are you happy you can move?"

"Wha what do you want from me? You have already tortured me for information I don't have.

What more do you want from me?" Canis said as he backed into a soft wall as he tried to find the panther. ‘Soft?!! Oh no!' He tried to jump forwards but was too late because a second later he felt something very strong pick him up and moved him back to the bed. He tried to claw her face since his hands were free but when he tried, he felt an electric shock hit his neck. He looked and his eyes widened even more as he saw a collar on him. When he reached to take it off, he got another shock. He was then thrown on the bed and re-muzzled. He looked up at the panther with confused and fearful eyes and she said "That collar will shock you if you try to hurt anyone or try to remove it." When he tried to remove the muzzle, he found that his hands were already re-shackled.

"Also if you try to leave the town it will not let you. We will let you roam the town if you answer the questions we ask. Now where were we? Right!" Caroline began to claw his stomach again and it was nearly unbearable. (Unknown to both of them, when Canis was changed into a fox, all the tortures he had endured in human form were wiped away from his body and the pond where he was healed prevented him from growing used to the pain.) Canis quickly passed from consciousness as Caroline began to press harder with her claws.
