Chapter 4
Understanding One Another
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anthony watched his fox sleep against him. Warmth flowed from Tom like a river, keeping the husky in a lethargic mood. He couldn't help but hold the fox closer as he let out a small snort.
It had finally happened. Tom had announced his mutual love for the husky, who had then asked him for a relationship he had accepted. It was what the husky had wanted to ask, but fear had subdued him every time.
The fox stirred, brushing a paw down the husky's side. Anthony let out a small gasp, half from surprise and half from delight. He felt the familiar tingle in his sheath that caused him to pant slightly. His mind began to slowly take in the image of the attractive fox, the fox he loved.
No, I can't do this! He thought. As if to betray him, the fox rolled on his side so that the husky was practically spooning him. The foxtail lightly brushed his sheath, coaxing out a few inches. The husky let out a low groan as he moved away from the fox. He couldn't take the teasing.
Anthony watched Tom to make sure he wouldn't wake up before pulling down his sheath. He closed his eyes and growled in lust as he stroked his hard length a few times. He slowly thrust his hips along with his stokes, his engorged knot growing and slapping against his paw. His high stamina prolonged his pleasure, but his climax still neared as he pumped his long, thick pride. He muffled a growl as he climaxed, not nearly as much as last night, but still sufficient enough to cover his paws. One spurt even shot far out, landing on Tom's back.
The husky relaxed in his afterglow. He wiped his cum soaked paw on his fur as he got out of the bed, lightly as to not disturb the tranquil fox.
"I need to go wash up," Anthony told himself. He left the bedroom, grabbing a towel before entering the bathroom.
Back in the room, Tom sighed as he wiped a wet spot off his back.
~~
Anthony emerged a few minutes later, a curtain of steam following him out of the bathroom. Only a towel was draped around his waist as he walked back to his room. His eyes widened in surprise as he stared at his empty bed.
"Tom!" he yelled down the stairs. He didn't wait for a response as he rushed down, stopping suddenly as he saw the red fox staring out a window in the living room. Unlike the husky, the fox was fully clothed.
"There you are!" The husky exclaimed. Tom still didn't turn around. Anthony sensed that something was wrong and he started walking towards him.
"What am I to you?" asked the fox. The husky ceased his approach.
"What do you mean?" The husky asked. He wasn't sure what the fox was talking about, but it didn't sound good. "Is this about last night?" The fox turned around, wiping an all-too-obvious tear from his face.
"Yes. And this morning too," The fox almost whispered, watching the husky blush beneath his fur. Anthony averted his gaze to the floor.
"You promise you won't get angry at me?" The husky asked, tentatively wagging his tail.
"Only if you promise to tell me the truth." Anthony nodded, pausing only ready himself.
"Sometimes, I get these...urges. I try to fight them, but...they're too strong." He tried to look up into Tom's face, but he could not find the courage. "Please don't get me wrong. I find you physically attractive, but I also love you for who you are." His heart leapt as the fox took a step towards him.
"You're my boyfriend," The husky stated, "and nothing less." He looked up, meeting the fox's green eyes. Tom suddenly threw himself at the husky, wrapping his arms around him in a strong hug.
"I'm sorry Anthony! It's just that this morning, I know what you did. I thought that you only wanted to use me." Anthony stroked the fox's head affectionately
"I would never use you," the husky assured. He held the fox's head between his paws and leaned down, bringing their lips together into a kiss. Tom's knees wobbled and he nearly stumbled back, only to have Anthony's hand steady him. The husky then stopped the kiss, guiding them to the couch. He sat down next to the fox, placing an arm around him.
"Do you believe me?" asked the husky. The fox looked up at him.
"Yeah, I do. I was afraid for a moment, but I'm fine now. I know you told me the truth, because I feel the same way," the fox explained. The husky smiled at him.
"I'm happy you're okay. Now, how about I make us some breakfast?" he asked. The fox's ears shot up and his tail wagged excitedly.Â
"You can cook?"
"What? Are you surprised?" The husky feigned hurt, though the fox saw right through.
"I don't mean it like that. I'm actually happy that my boyfriend can cook." The husky found himself suddenly hugging the fox tightly.
"That's the first time you call me your boyfriend." The fox blushed lightly.
"I didn't realize that. But I'm glad I did." A thought occurred to the husky.
"When are we going make our relationship public?" Tom stayed silent for a moment. Anthony hadn't realized he had brought up a sensitive subject until it was too late.
"I don't know." The fox moved as close as he could to the husky and buried his head into his chest, as if fearing that the door would open and his parents would angrily storm in. "No one knows I'm...homosexual." The fox avoided using the term gay. Anthony began feeling guilty for causing Tom to fret.
"Tom," The fox looked up from his refuge of white chest fur, "I don't want you to worry, about anything. We can keep this a secret for however long you want." The fox smiled inwardly, recalling the reason he had fallen for the husky in the first place.
"Thanks Anthony, but It won't matter. The school will find out that I'm ga-a homosexual." He felt tears welling up again. "It'd be better that you don't hang out with me anymore. I wouldn't want everyone to find out you like guys too and start treating you like trash."
"Tom, I'm not leaving you." Anthony stated firmly. Tom opened his mouth to protest, but the husky softly clasped it shut. "I won't deny loving you, to anyone. Got it?" He waited for the fox to nod before letting go. Tom embraced his boyfriend.
"I love you Anthony." He couldn't stop the small tears of happiness that escaped his eyes. He felt the deepest gratitude for his lover.
"I love you too, Tom. Now, let's get to that breakfast." The fox only laughed, making sure the husky didn't see him brush away the tears.
