Part 6

For Kacacarrotcake

By Draconicon

Amelia woke up feeling almost like herself. No, it wasn’t almost, more like…better than herself, she realized, something that was new, something that was right in herself in a way that she had never entirely felt as a human. It was like this body had finally allowed her to step into her life in a way that she had always held back from before. It was a good feeling.

She opened her eyes, feeling the smile on her muzzle. It pulled at her skin a bit, not enough to sting or anything like that, but definitely enough to ensure that she didn’t forget that she was smiling. She rubbed her face, shaking her head as she rolled over.

As she sat up, she could feel her tail behind her, the base a bit sore from the long-term injection during the transformation yesterday – as well as the fact that she had laid on it overnight – and she rubbed out some of the stiffness as she glanced at the computer. She still couldn’t believe everything that had happened in such a short time.

Gonna need to change my ID today…

That was something that popped in out of nowhere, but it was true. She had pushed herself hard enough that there was no way that she’d go back to human without some expensive drugs, drugs that she didn’t want to put out the money to buy, so she needed to change the photo on her photo ID. And that meant…

Oh, god. She hadn’t thought of that.

Amelia blushed as she got to her feet, wobbling as she walked to the computer. Without really any sign of her being her, the only way that she could prove that she was still Amelia was to submit the footage of her transformation to the ID office. That was something that was going to be embarrassing as fuck. Oh, fuck. Oh, shit.

Still…at least I look good…

That didn’t make the embarrassment go away, admittedly. She just knew that the video was going to end up going into some clerk’s wank bank, but all things considered, she wasn’t as embarrassed as she would have been a few weeks ago. The idea of being seen naked by a stranger was something that felt…well, almost fun. Not quite completely without its shame, admittedly, but fun. Amelia had a shaky smile on her face as she zipped the file and sent it to her phone, but that was better than a burning pair of cheeks and a worried frown.

She set up an appointment online, planning to come in somewhere past noon, and then went to the bathroom. Time to shower.

#

Once clean, she sent out some late thanks to the stream chat, making sure that they all knew how much she appreciated them and all that they had done for her. There was no response, of course – she had sent it by a group email rather than using the chat function – but she hoped that they all knew how much they mattered to her. After all this, she wanted to keep them for as long as possible. Maybe even grow the group, if she could, but she was pretty sure that Servile, DD, and Soles were going to be part of the core for a long time.

With that done, she pulled out her purse, and then her ID. The old card looked so strange, and the sight of herself as a human just didn’t really fit this time around. She couldn’t see herself in her own face, couldn’t recognize herself as this…this human.

Talk about how the world changes…

Amelia shook her head, slowly sliding the card back into her purse with all the other junk that she carried, and tucked it away. She had time before she had to go and get her new ID, and she decided that she’d spend that time gaming. It had been long enough since she’d actually played a good game, and she wanted to see if her new body was still good at that.

Plus, she didn’t want to be all-sex, all the time. It felt…wasteful, almost like there was something missing in her life if all she did was sex.

In the back of her head, she almost felt something laughing at that.

#

The office was closed for lunch when she arrived, but only for a few minutes. Amelia waited at the front door, dressed in a trench coat, leather leggings, high heels, and a skirt and rubber top under the coat until one of the clerks arrived. The stingray looked up as the car drove up, smiling as best she could. The human inside got out slowly, arching an eyebrow.

“Uh…we’re not the clinic, sorry,” he said.

“What?”

“If you’re looking for the free clinic –”

“What – no, no, that’s not what I’m here for,” she said, realizing that he’d taken her for a whore that was looking to get de-contaminated. “God, no. I’m here to change my ID.”

“…Pardon?”

“Recro.”

“Oh. Oh! That – sorry, ma’am. I didn’t mean to – geez.” The human covered his forehead. “Sorry, that was so – let me just unlock the door and we can get this done.”

At least he had the grace to look embarrassed. That was better than she imagined most people would have done. She stood behind him as he unlocked the door, doing her best to keep her eyes down and not look like the pervert that he had just half-accused her of being.

They went inside, the tiled floor making the click-clack of her heels that much louder. The whole place was empty, though the computers and cameras hummed away as loudly as ever. She followed him to his station, waiting patiently as he logged back in.

He wasn’t a bad-looking man, she supposed. Someone that was dressed more formally than he needed to be, but the suit flattered his shoulders, and his goatee kept him from looking too young. He pulled at his tie, shaking his head, constantly looking at her out of the corner of his eye.

Looking at my chest, too, instead of me…

She could understand that. They were still a bit small, and that probably threw him off. Good hips, small chest, something that suggested androgyny in the face considering the fin-horns on the side of her face and the white hair that swept along like something out of a fantasy novel. He probably had no idea where to even start.

“So, um, old name?”

“Here,” she said, passing her old ID card over. “That’s the old one. I have some, uh…proof…that I am who I say I am.”

“What kind?”

“Video of the transformation.”

“Really? Why would you record –”

“Let’s just say business and leave it at that, hmm?”

“Ah, the, um…”

“Exotic business.”

“Gotcha.”

He tapped a few keys, his face heating up around his goatee and almost all the way back to his ears. In a way, it was kind of sweet. Someone that still had a little embarrassment about the adult business was definitely new. She almost felt like flirting, seeing how far she could take it, but she didn’t want to fuck up getting her new ID, either.

“Want me to send it?”

“Uh, yeah. Here.”

He held out a touch-pad, and she tapped her phone to it. A few seconds later, his computer dinged as it accepted the file. She pocketed the phone again, he opened it –

“Oh god…”

And just like that, he was transfixed. Amelia hadn’t even thought about how the chat would have watched her transformation yesterday, but the way that the clerk just stared at his screen told her that it was probably better than she thought it was. The whole thing had been so overwhelming that she hadn’t even thought much about how to place the cameras, how she was going to make it a good show, but…well, apparently it had worked.

“You – oh fuck…”

“What?”

“Two?”

“Oh, that part. Yeah, that’s a thing. We might need a different gender marker on the ID, if they’re going bio,” she said, surprising herself with her own casual stance on the matter.

“Uh-huh…”

“You okay?”

“Never…seen something like…”

She understood, nodded. The whole video, thankfully, didn’t take too long to go through. They were done by the time that the other clerks started showing up and taking their positions around the room, which meant that she didn’t have to deal with the bullshit of other people viewing it uninvited.

You have that on record online, she reminded herself. People can do that anyway.

But not at work, which was the important distinction. She crossed her arms as her clerk cleared his throat, putting the file somewhere else.

“Well, um…Ms. Amelia. You’re definitely who you…say you are.”

“Do you need a minute?”

“If you don’t mind.”

He got up and walked into the back room. She didn’t know what he needed to go back there for, but if he was gone for more than a few minutes, she’d know pretty quickly. Sighing, she rubbed her forehead and settled herself to wait.

As she did, the rest of the clerks did more than their share to fill in the staring gap. They leaned around their counters to look at her, and while she didn’t mind getting naked online, she had to admit that there was something odd about being stared at here, particularly as she was honestly better dressed than she was online. Her toes curled slightly in her heels, and she shifted from foot to foot, her tail twitching.

Must not get many people like me here…

A pity, really. She was feeling happier with herself. If the Recro-TFs were a little bit more commercially available for people of limited means, she imagined that they would see a great deal less humans. If there was more fluidity in the way that people dealt with themselves, allowing themselves some kind of comparison to what another body felt like, she imagined that there would be less than a majority of humans in these places.

As she shifted her weight again, feeling her hips rolling slightly in the coat, one of the clerks waved at her. Amelia turned.

“Yeah?” she asked.

“I’m sorry, but if you’re not here for an ID, you should go.”

“…And why wouldn’t I be here for ID?”

“Well…you’re looking like you’re waiting for a client.”

“…”

“A John?”

“…”

“Um…do you speak –”

“Oh, I speak.”

“Then –”

“And I’m here for a new ID after I stopped being human.”

“Oh.”

The clerk sat down, though he didn’t actually apologize the way that hers had. She wondered if this was going to be the new normal.

Admittedly, she was wearing something that implied that she wasn’t really well-dressed under it. The trench coat stripper look was something that she had thrown together by accident, and she’d have to do better than that in the future, but really. Fuckers were getting the wrong idea and then running with it.

I can do better than that…they’ll do better than that.

The clerk finally returned, shaking his head. He didn’t look sweaty or tired, so she doubted that he had run to the bathroom to masturbate. The fact that he held up a piece of paper that was already pretty filled out implied that he had gone to get something, at least.

“Manager needed to sign off on this,” he explained, sitting down again. “Sorry. Bigger sort of thing, so it needed validation.”

“Don’t we all?” she said, chuckling.

“Heh, good one. So, uh, we changing names?”

“No, just…species, picture, that kind of thing.”

“Alright, that makes it easier. And do you have any new weight stats or anything?”

“No, I think I’m about the same. Maybe slightly lighter, but…”

“But?”

“I’m probably going to get bigger in the chest and…other places, so you might want to add a few pounds to that.”

Oh, he was an adorable blusher, she’d give him that. It didn’t quite make up for his asshole coworkers, but it made her feel more comfortable and safer in herself when someone else enjoyed the little implications of what she did.

He tapped a few keys, altering the data-fields on his end, and then gestured for her to look at the camera. Amelia did, keeping herself as neutral as possible rather than grinning. She felt like she could have, in that moment, considering how much better this felt.

The camera clicked, and the soft whir-whir-whir followed as a temporary ID was printed out. Her clerk handed it over, offering a shaky smile.

“The, uh, the real one will be mailed to you in a week or so.”

“Thanks for this. I know it’s not…normal…but it’s better.”

“You sure?”

“Damn sure.”

“Well, um…glad that it’s working for you. And…Ms. Amelia?”

“Yeah?”

“…” The clerk looked back and forth, then leaned forward. “Balls.”

“…DD?”

The clerk smiled, nodding. Before they could keep talking, though, the doors to the building opened and the afternoon crowd started pouring in. She looked over her shoulders, and then glanced back at him. She mouthed ‘talk later’, and he nodded as she walked out of the building.

Who would have thought one of the chat lives locally? she thought as she drove herself back to her apartment. Hell, that was not something that I expected at all. Still…kinda thought that he would have recognized me in person.

Then again, different lighting, different place. Clark Kent never got recognized, that was for sure, so she supposed the whole expectations thing played a role in the way that people operated.

Still, that explained a lot.

Now she had her ID, which was great if she got pulled over. She had a proper one coming in soon, and she had a good bit of money built up. That meant that she could take some time off from the streaming, something that she honestly felt she should do before she got too addicted to the applause and the eagerness of her clients. She didn’t want to milk them for too much, particularly after all the generosity that they had shown so far.

Then again, she could give them a private show for all that…

Amelia shook her head. No, no, that was just getting into the whole sex for sex’s sake at that point. She needed some time off the stream, and more than that, she needed to decide if she needed to be bigger or not. The stingray transformation had stolen a lot of size from her bust, and a decent chunk from her ass. That might be fine, but then again, she might want more back again.

Need some time to think about that…and need to spend time with myself to make sure that I’m good with it, instead of always thinking about what other people want to see.

And that meant finding a different hobby. Reading would take her out of herself for a while, and gaming would do the same. She needed something a little more physical, a little more in-motion, a little bit more that made her aware of her body. That could be the gym, or –

Stopping at the next traffic light, she looked to her left…and smiled.

That’ll do.

Turning into the parking lot, she pulled her car up to a spot near the front of the grocery store and hopped out. She grabbed a cart, paused, and then grabbed a second one.

This was going to be a big trip.

#

Amelia ended up taking three trips from car to kitchen to unload everything, and the only reason it wasn’t double that was because her stingray form had stronger arms than her human form. She groaned as she tossed everything solid on the kitchen floor, the clangs of replacement pots and pans echoing through her apartment, while the soft stuff was laid with shaking limbs onto the countertops. By the time that it was all brought in, she was a panting, sweaty mess that left her gripping the countertops just to keep from sliding to the floor.

Fucking…fuck…

She rolled over, staring at the ceiling as she was surrounded on all sides by plastic bags. Any movement made one or another crinkle and crackle, and she glared at the different purchases all around.

“Never…doing that…again…”

But hopefully, she wouldn’t have to. She’d stocked up on everything that she was missing, including two cast iron pans and a proper Dutch oven, an air fryer, and all the other tools that she’d need to make good food. The ingredients that she’d bought should last her for two weeks, if she rationed them out properly, and stored the perishables the right way.

Cooking had sounded like the perfect idea for getting in touch with her new body and finding out how much she liked it, as well as what was good and what might need changing. It was a very physical act, and it meant that she would be constantly moving, finding her new center of balance, dealing with the new, more slender – but stronger – limbs, and all the other shifts in her body. It would be a good way for her to learn more about herself, too.

The only thing that she needed…was any skill or training in it.

Cookbooks. That’s what I should have gotten. Cookbooks.

Well, it was too late to head back to the store for that now. The stingray groaned under her breath, sat up –

Tap, tap.

Someone at her door? She blinked, dragging herself up inch by inch, kicking off her heels and walking to the apartment door. She half-swore that she heard some sort of swirling, pulsing sound on the other side, but by the time that she opened it, there was no-one there.

However, there was a package waiting. She cocked her head to the side, looking down at the brown box, and poked it with her tail. No sudden sounds from inside, but…well, this was how the whole thing had started.

What the hell?

She pulled the box inside. No return address, though it was labeled as for her. She opened it carefully, then leaned forward.

Inside was a simple little book, one that seemed to have been written out by hand rather than by print. The cover didn’t even have a title, but inside, there were recipes aplenty.

What the hell? she thought again.

She flicked through them, surprised to see quite a few different – and some very complicated – recipes. There was one that involved no less than 17 different meats, all of them stuffed one inside the other, and she sputtered as she tried to make heads or tails of that one. It was the most over-indulgent sort of recipe that she had ever seen…but at the same time, she couldn’t help but be curious about it.

This is weird. So weird.

Amelia shook her head in mild amazement that someone had bothered to send her something so detailed, but at the same time, she was grateful. It meant that she could get started on the new hobby now rather than waiting for a day or three until she could get out of her home again. She looked at the mess of bags all around her, and sighed.

“In ten minutes.”

Or more likely an hour. She went back to her computer and booted up a game. She needed to take some time off after all that bullshit.

#

Another hour later, she had managed to put everything away. Some of it was just shoved where there was room, while the rest was carefully stored so that she could find it again and get it quickly if need be. The fire extinguisher was one such, placed at the opposite side of the room as the stove and oven. She made sure that it was good and secure before getting to work.

The results were…kind of a mess. The stingray managed to fuck up the garlic frying three times before she knew that it had to go in at a softer temperature, or with cooler things around it to keep it from being burnt. Onions and shallots, likewise, were burnt beyond recognition multiple times before she learned to see how they worked.

Oil splatter, sauce spills, old leaves of the onions and other alliums littered the place, making it look like a culinary bomb went off. Knives aplenty were tossed in the sink to be washed later, and she had barely managed to get the pasta right on the third try. It was not something that looked good, but at least it smelled edible.

The stingray sat down at her computer, shaking her head as she poked at the plate of chicken parm. It had come out…okay, but she clearly needed a great deal more time in the kitchen if she wanted to make anything particularly nice for herself or others.

She was just starting to munch on it – and the flavor worked, even if the visuals were shit – when her computer dinged at her. Glancing up, she saw a message from DungeonDragon, and she opened it.

DungeonDragon: Hey, um, sorry for the awkward earlier.

DungeonDragon: I thought that you were someone else.

Admin: You thought that there were two stingrays that looked like me?

DungeonDragon: Um…

DungeonDragon: I don’t know what I was thinking.

DungeonDragon: Sorry.

Admin: Just teasing, DD.

Admin: You’re fine.

DungeonDragon: You sure?

Admin: I’m sure.

Well, at least that soothed one bit of awkward. She had been a little worried that he’d be someone that just couldn’t get around the whole real-life thing. And at least he’d been the one to apologize. Kudos for that.

DungeonDragon: So, um, you live around here?

Admin: Probably not the best thing to pass around.

Admin: But you saw my address, didn’t you?

DungeonDragon: I kinda did, but I didn’t memorize it.

DungeonDragon: Or keep it.

Admin: Even though you coulda seen my ‘baaaaalls’?

DungeonDragon: …Do I really do that that often?

Admin: Yep.

DungeonDragon: Ow. I cringe at myself.

Admin: Eh, it’s cute.

DungeonDragon: I…well…

DungeonDragon: I was wondering.

Admin: If you’re wondering if you can buy an hour with me in person, right now, the answer’s no.

DungeonDragon: Because of today?

Admin: No, just not doing IRL prostitution and shows.

DungeonDragon: Fair.

DungeonDragon: Let me know if that changes?

Admin: Heh, if it does, you’ll be the first to know.

Admin: Not like anyone else lives close.

DungeonDragon: You might be surprised.

DungeonDragon: Anyway, any new stuff planned?

Admin: Just cooking. Letting myself get settled. Might do a growth stream in a week or so. Post some pictures before then.

DungeonDragon: Balls gonna go by then?

Admin: Probably.

DungeonDragon: Pity. You look better with them.

Admin: Doesn’t feel right, though.

Admin: I’ll send you some pics, though.

DungeonDragon: Thanks. Anyway, uh, gotta get back to work. Have fun.

He pinged off, leaving her staring at a blank screen and an empty plate. She pushed it off to the side, leaning back and resting her hands on her stomach.

IRL prostitution…

That had never been on the table. She had been an online presence, and just that, this whole time. The fact that someone might want her had popped into her head, of course – you didn’t do this for long without getting that sort of idea – but that didn’t mean that she wanted to do it. It just meant that it was an option.

She rubbed the back of her head. It wasn’t even something that would likely be that much more lucrative than getting all these donations online. Hell, she was half-sure that this paid more than she’d ever get as a sex-worker on the streets. Amelia doubted that she could ever bring herself to go that far with the work, and she wasn’t sure that she would ever want to.

After all, she did want to keep some dignity. And out there, she doubted she’d be allowed any.

Unless you were a call-girl that always dominated.

She blushed a bit at that thought. She had been surprised when those little sparks of a thought popped up before, particularly after how much she had enjoyed what Servile had done in the chat, how he had taken control. The idea of someone doing that to her again had a certain appeal.

But then again, so did the idea of someone falling under her sway, of worshiping her from below. That was as good, maybe even a little bit better. She rubbed the back of her head, trying to sort through her thoughts, but they were so jumbled, so messy, that they didn’t want to come clean.

Eventually, she sighed. She’d have to sort that out later, when she had a better idea of what she wanted.

The plate clattered slightly as she bumped the table, reminding her of the massive mess in the kitchen waiting for her. The stingray leaned back, glancing back through her home, and she bit her lip as she imagined the load of work that would be. At the same time, she imagined how much worse she’d feel if she had to do it in the morning, and managed to force herself out of her chair.

Let’s get it done before it crusts…

#

When the dishwashing was done and the kitchen had reached a state that she could tolerate, Amelia stumbled back to her room. She could hardly believe how long that had taken, but it had proven that old adage. Cleaning as you went meant that the kitchen didn’t take nearly as long. Just waiting until the end meant that there was a massive mess that would take you forever.

Her arms felt like noodles from the amount of elbow grease that she’d had to exert to get the kitchen to look half-normal again, and she groaned as she laid herself to bed. She ground her face against her pillow, her tail thrashing between her legs.

“Ow…ow…”

She groaned, kicking her legs a few times like some pouting brat. If the food hadn’t come out tasty, then she would have said that this was a giant waste of time. She had taken all day to get it right, and she had wasted so much food in the process. Cooking…

Was it a thing for her? Not professionally, obviously, but was it a hobby that she even wanted to take up? Maybe. Despite everything, she had learned something from it, and not just about the frustration and effort that it took to clean up.

I can stand to have bigger boobs, she thought, lifting one sore arm to her chest, running her hands across her soft, smooth flesh. They’d be nicer up here, bigger. But how big?

She wasn’t sure, but she felt like she needed to be a bigger woman, someone with proper curves, but not someone that just went chubby. No, she wanted some muscles, some serious power behind them.

Amazon? she wondered.

That word felt about right for what she was thinking of. A woman that was big, powerful, someone that you just looked at and knew would be good enough to take charge and break you if she really wanted. It would be good for chasing off some of the assholes out there, and more to the point, helpful in whatever else she was doing. Getting more physically fit was going on the docket…

And maybe…

Maybe use the muscle growth with the other things? she thought, thinking of how that might go over on the streams. Wonder if they’d like a big, muscular woman?

Amelia smiled at the thought of having thicker arms and legs, of a tight core that led up to big breasts that required all these muscles to keep from leaving her sore all day. The idea of stretching, growing, becoming someone that was so massive and mighty, actually got her dicks twitching just a bit.

Well, I like it, at least.

That was a good enough reason to give it a shot. If nothing else, she would be able to find out whether her group liked her small or big, and how much they were willing to give to see her that way.

Maybe I should see if there’s something else that they want to donate, instead just…taking money all the time.

That was the thing that she felt a little bit bad about. It felt like it was making them pay for everything, like they were all her sugar daddies that way, and it felt like she was starting to take advantage. Maybe she should move over to the subscription model rather than the donation model?

Making a mental note to check the site and see what they offered for that, she rolled her head against the pillow again. Sleepiness slipped in, and she slowly dropped further and further towards the dark oblivion that was the realm of sleep. When it finally arrived, she smiled to greet it.
