New problems, new ideas.
#8 of Balto's family's love
Finally the eighth chapter. Next chapter will be faster and have more yiff in it.
Tell me if something is wrong, I'm always open for some help to improve my English!
Nine days after the incident with Nikita, Balto learned that Jenna was pregnant. He also learned from Steele that Aleu was pregnant as well. Jenna and Balto both congratulated the two canines, and Aleu announced Steele and her would go in town later to talk to Doc about their wedding. Because yes, Aleu and Steele wanted a wedding. They really wanted to be officially united by the holy bond in front of all the dogs of the town. Aleu and Steele went in town in the afternoon of the same day.
"Honey, can we eat something before we go see Doc?" Aleu asked on the way.
"Of course Aleu. Anything for my beautiful and sexy mate." Steele replied.
"Aww you." She said, rubbing her head under his chin.
A small bump could already be seen where Aleu's womb was located. Seeing such bulge so early in the pregnancy only meant one thing: there was a good bunch of puppies growing in there. Steele always felt proud when he was watching her growing belly. This bulge was because of him. This bulge was his heirs growing inside the female he loved the most. He was proud of his work.
Steele led his mate to the butcher's store. He was accustomed to go there when he needed some meat. The meat he provided Aleu with always came from there. The two lovers reached the store by avoiding the main streets. Steele was almost certain they wouldn't be really well welcomed by Nome's dogs if they showed up like that. After all, he was normally banished from Nome, and Aleu looked like a wolf. A wolf and a banished together walking in the main streets of Nome was sure enough to cause a big alert for Nome's dogs.
The butcher was there, in the alleyway next to the store, taking a break from his mangling of meat. Steele barked at him, playfully wagging his tail. Aleu, her, kept a low profile and flattened her ears back as she approached the human more cautiously. After all, the last human she encountered almost killed her, a year and half ago.
The young man turned his head toward the bark and smiled.
"Hey, Steele! How are you today, my old creepy friend?"
The man crouched to pat the head of the big malamute, when he saw a wolf coming behind the dog. He looked at Steele, then at the wild beast again, and he noticed the wolf was a female.
"Who is she Steele? A friend of you?"
Steele approached Aleu and whispered to her:
"Cuddle me, he'll see you're not dangerous."
"Alright." Aleu replied.
She cuddled her head in the fur of his chest and whimpered slightly. The man approached the two dogs.
"Oh oh, I see now. You found a pretty girl to be with, uh? You lucky boy."
He patted softly Aleu's head, and she nuzzled his hand. The man began to scratch behind her ears and she moaned, enjoying the feeling. She let her tongue loll out of her mouth and closed her eyes.
"Your girlfriend looks really calm and friendly. I never saw a wolf agreed to be patted that fast, apart Balto."
Steele nuzzled Aleu and whispered something into her ear.
"Lie down on your side so he will see you're pregnant."
Aleu obeyed and lied on her right side. The bump in her belly was easily found by the man.
"Wooh! What do we have here?" He said as he slowly put his hands on the bulge.
He examined it while Steele sat next Aleu and nuzzled her, trying to distract her and keep her as comfortable as possible with the man.
"Hey... hihihi! It tickle! I'm ticklish there! Hehehe!" Aleu giggled, squirming a little.
Steele chuckled when he saw her giggled.
"I must remember she's ticklish there." He thought, grinning.
The man retired his hands from Aleu's belly and patted her back.
"I see now why you always came to ask me some meat those last days. It was to feed your girlfriend and her puppies." He said to Steele.
Steele barked, and Aleu rubbed her nose with his.
"Correction, your pups. I'm pretty sure you're the father." The man added.
Aleu and Steele wagged their tail happily. The man got up, patted Steele's head again and went into his store to take some meat for the dogs.
After a good little lunch, Steele and Aleu went on their way to meet Doc, the old St Bernard, to his house in the opposite of the town.
In that while, Dingo was wandering into town. He was calm. For those who known his usual always playful temper, it was really odd to see him calm like that. But his peace was soon disturbed greatly by his sister Saba. She came from an alleyway, approached him and said:
"Dingo, we need to talk, now."
Dingo knew why she wanted to talk. Deep inside him, he really wished it wasn't true, but he knew his fate. He knew he had no chance. He followed his sister to the secluded place that was her home. Her masters were gone for awhile. Dingo looked at Saba as she set herself into her couch. She looked tired and sad. The male knew he was the cause of her sorrow, and he felt really guilty for that.
"So, Dingo. Fate fell on us." Saba said.
Dingo said nothing and sat in front of her.
"*Sigh* Dingo... I'm pregnant... with your pups."
Dingo sighed loudly.
"I'm really sorry Saba. Everything is my fault." He said.
"No Dingo, don't begin with that. We're both guilty for that. It's both our fault." Saba replied.
"But, if I had been more careful, you wouldn't be pregnant now. I'm the shame of the family."
"Now you listen to me Dingo! I was as horny and willing as you were. We're both responsible for that."
Saba sighed.
"I'm pregnant with your pups Dingo. And I have no idea about what I'm gonna do. I'm not sure my owners will be very happy with that, and I feel they're... gonna throw me out."
"Don't say that Saba. They won't throw you out. They care for you." Dingo said.
"But I want to keep the pups!"
Dingo was shocked. Her pregnant sister wanted to keep the puppies he gave her. He was happy, and at the same time even more guilty than before.
"I... I don't know what to say."
"Please, just say you'll be there for them." Saba almost begged.
Dingo was more and more surprised by her words. But he knew eventually he'll have puppies one day. It was just way sooner than expected, and not with the good female.
"Of... of course I'll be there. If you want to keep them, I'll be there for them." He finally replied.
Saba got up, approached her brother and hugged his chest.
"I don't want to lose you Dingo. You're my brother. And you're the father of my pups."
Dingo sighed, and hugged her tightly against his chest. Then, he said:
"We will have to tell someone about it. Mom and dad will want to know who is the father of your litter, and I don't want to lie to them."
"I don't want it either. But I think we should speak to someone out of the family first. We should go see Doc and hear what he have to say about all that." Saba said.
"*Sigh* Alright Saba. Let's go now."
Aleu and Steele soon arrived to Doc's house.
"Please Aleu, wait me here. I want to talk to him alone first." Steele said.
"Alright honey. I already miss you." Aleu replied, nuzzling his cheek.
"I miss you too darling. I won't be long, I promise."
"So, you better keep that promise." She said while sitting on the ground near the wall of the house.
Steele entered by the doggy door in the back of the house.
"Doc, are you there?" He called.
The old St Bernard slowly came down the stairs of the house and looked who was there.
"Steele? It's been long time I'd see you here. I remember last time, we banished you from Nome." Doc said.
"Yeah, I remember that too. But time flew by. I changed, and I came to ask you something really important for me." Steele replied.
"For you? Steele, seriously. I don't owe you anything. How can you believe I'll do something for you--"
"I came to ask you to perform my wedding."
Doc gasped, very surprised.
"You... You want me to perform your wedding?! You set yourself in a long lasting relationship?!" The St Bernard exclaimed.
"Yeah. I found the right female for me, and we both want to be officially united in front of Nome."
"... I think that's the strangest thing I ever heard from you." Doc said. "You really finally settle with only one female?! That's unbelievable."
"My new lover learned me a lot of things lately, and I understood I was wrong, three years ago. Oh, and by the way, you will be very surprised, but my new lover is Balto and Jenna's daughter, Aleu. And she is pregnant."
"WH--!! WHAT!?! Oh god, that's really super strange now!" The St Bernard exclaimed.
"I tell you." Steele replied, quickly annoyed with the conversation.
Outside the house, Aleu was daydreaming about her wedding. Suddenly, three kids, three boys, rushed in the alleyway.
"Hehehe! You can't catch me!" The first one said.
He ran in front of Aleu, but the two other boys noticed her when they passed and stopped near the end of the alleyway.
"Hey! Look, it's a wolf!"
The first boy came back and looked at Aleu.
"Hey, but that's right! Why a wolf came in our town like that?!"
The two other boys shrugged.
"Well, we better scare it away before she try to take down our town." The first boy said. "There are some apple there in this box. Let's throw some to that beast."
The three kids slowly sneaked toward the box and took apples into it. Aleu watched them carefully. She knew something was up. In her very core, she felt the danger arise and approach. Her wolf instincts were there, telling her to move. But Steele was still inside, so she stayed there and watched the three kids. Her heart began to race, her kidneys released more adrenaline in her blood. Her body prepared itself for something.
Suddenly, an apple landed on her shoulder. Then, another near her neck with more force. She yelped, then whimpered loudly, hoping to draw attention to her. Three other apples landed on her, so she whimpered louder, backed into some old boxes placed in the alleyway and lied in it, trying to protect her belly as much as possible.
Suddenly, she heard the three kids yell. She closed her eyes to not see what was happening. But then, she heard some growl and opened her eyes to see who was doing that sound. She saw one of the human run past her, and she then heard a thud and a really furious snarl. She came out of her hiding and looked to her right, where the sound came from. And she froze. There was Steele. He somehow managed to make the boy fall on the ground, and he was now snarling furiously at the face of the young kid.
"YOU UGLY PIECE OF SHIT!! I'M GONNA TEAR YOU APART WITH SO MUCH STRENGTH THAT YOU'LL BE BEGGING FOR MERCY BEFORE I ACHIEVE YOU!!" Steele yelled.
Aleu quickly ran to him and snuggled under his chin.
"No, please Steele, don't hurt him!" She said.
"He deserve to suffer! He hurt you!" Steele exclaimed.
"I beg you Steele, stop that. I don't want to see his parents track and kill you. Please." The she-wolf whimpered, trying to push him back.
Steele kept growling until Aleu finally licked just under his chin, calming him instantly. Right away he licked her head and nuzzled her, and examined her whole body to see if she had any scratch.
"Are you hurt? Do those bastards touched you? Do you need anything?" He asked, greatly worried about her.
Aleu let him inspect her whole body while she looked back inside the alleyway. The kid got up and ran away like a coward. Aleu was surprised to see two dogs coming toward her, surely the ones who growled at the two other kids. One was a male and the other one a female. They were both huskies, and their coat was very similar to the one of her mother. She could swear she already saw them somewhere else, but she couldn't put her paws on it.
"Hey, you alright there?" The male asked.
"Yeah, we're good. Thank you for your intervention." Aleu replied.
The female husky tilted her head to the side and looked closely at the couple. In that while, Steele had his nose in her neck and he was licking the spot where an apple landed. Aleu giggled at it.
"I think I already saw you somewhere. But I can't recall where exactly." The husky female said.
"You surely saw me here when I was younger. I'm born here in Nome." Aleu replied.
At this moment, everything came back in the female husky's head.
"Aleu? Is that really you?" The husky asked.
"Yeah, that's me. Who are you exactly?" Aleu asked back.
"It's me, Saba!"
"Saba?! Oh my god! It's been so much time!" Aleu said as she hopped forward and hugged her sister.
The male husky was Dingo, and he looked at Steele.
"You're Steele, uh? What are you doing with my sister?" He said, showing menacingly his teeth.
"Dingo, it's you?! I can't believe how much you grew since last time!" Aleu said. "Hem, Dingo, Saba, Steele is my mate."
"Steele is your mate?!!" Dingo and Saba exclaimed at the same time.
"Yep! And I'm pregnant with his pups. And we try to get officially married." Aleu added.
Both huskies stayed shocked, their maw wide open.
"Hey, guys, you're alright?" Aleu asked.
"You... you know who he is, right? You know what he done?" Saba asked.
"I know. But he changed, and--"
"Please Aleu, let me explain them." Steele said. "Dingo, Saba, since I met your sister, my life totally changed. Since I met your sister, for the first time in my life, I feel happy. Your sister changed me, and she made me someone better than what I was. I'm ready to assume my past mistakes. I know everyone in town think I'm a big liar, but believe this, it's the truth, I love Aleu with all my heart. I will never let her down. I'll be there every day for her until the end of my life."
"And you think we will believe you?" Dingo asked.
"I don't ask for you to believe me, or even forgive me. I ask you to trust your sister with her choices."
"I love him, Dingo. I know he is the right one for me. I know I'll be happy with him. He is my mate, and the future father of my pups." Aleu said.
Dingo and Saba looked at each other, then back at the couple.
"If you're sure about this, then, congratulation you two. But tell me, do mom and dad know about that?" Dingo asked.
"Yes, they know, and they accept it. Thought mom is still keeping a close eye on Steele." Aleu replied.
"That's good for you Aleu. At least you found the right dog for you. I envy you." Saba said, hugging her sister.
"What? Saba, you didn't find any mate. But, I thought you were very popular amongst the males around here?"
"Yeah, I am. But I didn't find the right one yet. And... there's another problem..." The female husky said, looking away.
"What is it Saba? You know you can tell us anything." Aleu said.
"I'm... I'm pregnant."
"Oh. And it's not a good thing?"
"Considering I didn't wanted it to happen so soon... I don't know."
Steele shuddered.
"You've been raped?" He asked seriously.
"W-what? No, no! It's... It's complicated. I'll explain to mom and dad." Saba said, shooting a quick look to Dingo.
At this moment, Steele noticed Dingo looked really disturbed by this talk. But he thought it was just because the worst enemy of his family was marrying one of his sister.
"Well, we're heading for mom and dad too. Come on, let's all go there!" Aleu said smiling.
She bounced away, but not before sliding her tail under Steele's chin. The malamute followed her instantly, driven by his love toward his young she-wolf mate. Saba and Dingo followed behind, but kept a good distance between the two lovers.
"Even Aleu found love. And I have nothing. I'm such a waste." Saba whispered.
"What d'you think I am, uh? Steele found love, I'm worst than you." Dingo replied.
"*Sigh* What are we gonna do Dingo? I really don't want to bring shame over mom and dad."
"I dunno. I really try to think about something, but I can't find anything good. I'm really sorry Saba, everything that happen is my fault." He said.
"Hey, we already spoke about that. It's both our fault. We both agreed to do it, so we must both assume it." Saba scowled. "Don't blame only yourself for that, we will both fall together, you hear me?"
"Alright, alright Saba."
"I need you bro. I... I need you to be here for them. For the pups." She whispered, her voice shaking.
"I'll be there sis. I'll never leave you alone. I promise." Dingo whispered in her ear, licking it before turning back to his usual stance.
The four canines soon reached Jenna's house, and they came to the back where the shed was. Balto and Jenna were there. The half-bred was nuzzling her ears to tickle her.
"Balto, please, stop that. Hihihi! You know I'm ticklish here." She giggled.
"Hehehe! Yeah, I know it." He replied.
Jenna turned her head and nuzzled him.
"I'm so happy with our lives. I can't think a better way to enjoy my life than at your side." She said.
"I can't either. You're everything I ever wished, my dear beautiful lovely Jenna." Balto replied.
"Aww, you gonna make me blush."
"But it's the truth, and I can't hide you anything." He said, licking her cheek.
This time, Jenna blushed furiously, the cream fur on her cheek became slightly red.
Suddenly, Balto's ears stood up on his head and listened cautiously.
"Someone is coming." The half-bred said.
Both canines looked toward the door as Aleu peeked her head in the entrance.
"Hello there! We're not bugging you?" She said with a smile.
"No, never Aleu. Please, come in!" Jenna said, smiling back.
"And I'm not alone." Aleu said, pushing the door of the shed.
Steele, Dingo and Saba we're there too.
"Hey Steele. Hi Dingo, Hi Saba! Long time no see." Balto said.
"Hi dad, Hi mom!" Dingo and Saba said in chorus.
They approached their parents and nuzzled them one after the other.
"So Steele, what's the news?" Balto asked then.
"I talked to Doc. He is alright to do the wedding, but he is highly unsure about how much dogs will be there to see it." Steele replied.
"I'll try to bring some old friends for you." Balto said.
"There's also something else I want to tell you. Aleu have been... attacked today."
"My god, what happened?" Jenna asked.
"Some kids threw apples to me." Aleu replied, flattening her ears back on her head.
"Those little--" Jenna growled.
"Hopefully, we arrived in time to stop them." Dingo interrupted his mother. "And Steele managed to catch the third one. I think they understood the lesson."
"But... it made me think about all that situation. As long as we will stay in town, Aleu will be in danger..." Steele said.
"Steele, no, I--"
"Please Aleu, let me finish." He cut. "I think we will be forced to live somewhere else than near the town. Maybe even in the wild."
"You mean you would abandon Nome to live with Aleu out there, like a wolf?" Balto asked, understanding his point.
"Yeah, maybe. But I'm not sure yet. It's just one of the option."
"If you need help, You'll always find us here. We will help you anyway we can." Balto said.
"We will find the good way. But I must protect her. Nothing else matter more than that now." The malamute said, nuzzling Aleu's cheek.
Aleu smiled softly, wagged slowly her tail and nosed her lover.
"Mom, dad, there's something we must tell you." Saba said.
"Yeah, what is it?" Jenna asked.
"I... we..."
"Let me tell them Saba." Dingo said, walking in front of his parents. "In the last mating season, Saba and me went to the family cave, to avoid to have herds of male and female coming after us because of the Heat. But... we ended getting on each other."
"We mated together. We mated together, twice. And... I'm pregnant." Saba ended.
Balto, Jenna, Aleu and Steele had their eyes and mouth wide open, deeply shocked.
"We... we know what we done isn't right... but we weren't ourselves." Dingo said.
"The Heat got stronger than us. We... tried to control it, but we failed. We're really sorry about all that. We're the shame of the family." Saba added.
"J-just wait a minute now! Dingo impregnated you?!" Balto exclaimed.
"How this is possible?! How could you let the Heat overwhelm you like that?!" Jenna added.
"Mom, dad, please, calm down!" Aleu said firmly. "I remember you I raped Steele because my Heat made me horny. It wasn't only to protect you I done that, it was also to settle down my Heat."
Jenna and Balto looked at each other, then again at their son and daughter.
"You want to keep the pups?" Balto asked.
"*Sigh* They will be small innocent puppies. They done nothing bad. I think they got the right to have their chances in this world." Saba said.
"You're right, but the dogs of the town think otherwise." Steele said.
"That's unfortunately true." Balto added. "The dogs in town have a law about that."
"A law?" Saba and Dingo asked in chorus.
"Yeah. Puppies coming from an incestuous union will be killed. There was already some problem with such pups in the past, so the dogs decided to make this law." Steele said.
"That's horrific!"
"We know it, but we can't fight it." Balto said.
"I know it's different for wolves. They allow such union when the pack need to expend and there's not enough member from different families in the pack." Aleu said.
"I want to keep the pups! Even if I didn't wanted them, they're still mine! I won't let anyone touch them!" Saba said firmly, taking a defensive stance.
"If it's your choice, then we're with you." Aleu said.
"But even with me being the Hero of Nome, the dogs of the town won't allow you to keep them." Balto said.
"Hmm... we have two problems now. Maybe..." Steele said, thinking deeply.
"What do you think about honey?" Aleu asked.
"We could... we could all go live in the wild, like a wolf pack."
"... That's an idea." Balto said.
"But, how we will survive out there?" Dingo asked.
"Aleu is still in shape to learn us some hunting tip." Steele answered.
"I'm alright with that plan." Aleu said.
"Hmm, if that will protect the pups, I will go with them." Saba said.
Dingo still hesitated.
"I'm not sure. The pups will be much safer in a house with humans than out there in the wild."
"There will be much more danger in town." Steele said. "And what you don't know with the law, it's that the dogs cut the balls of the father of the litter--"
"I'm alright with this idea!" Dingo quickly said.
Steele chuckled silently.
"Me and Steele will begin to look for a good shelter and territory tomorrow. Then, we'll begin the training." Aleu said.
"I already have some experience as hunter, I'll learn some tip to Dingo in that while." Balto added.
"Thank you sis, and you too dad. We're really sorry for all the trouble we cause." Saba said.
"Don't worry, you're not the only one." Jenna said, shooting a glance toward Aleu and Steele.
"Well, we better go rest now. Tomorrow will be an ecstatic day." Steele said.
"Hey, I think you can stay here and sleep here for the night. I don't think my masters care." Jenna proposed.
"Thank you mom." Saba said.
"I must go back to my house to tell the team I won't do anymore sled race with them. I think I'll sleep there for the night." Dingo stated.
The young husky then turned around and nuzzled Saba.
"Stay safe, okay?" He whispered.
"I will bro. ... Thank you." She nuzzled back.
Dingo smiled, then went out of the shed and to his house.
Saba sat on the ground and sighed, looking at the ground. Jenna sat next her.
"You're scared, I know it." The older female said.
"I don't know how it's gonna turn out. I'm scared about the pups. I want them safe. I know they shouldn't even exist, but... I can't help it, I want to care for them. To love them like if I really wanted to have them. I'm also scared about Dingo. I really want him to stop thinking he is the only one who made the mistake. We both made this mistake, we should both assume it." Saba said.
"I understand you. You're wise to think like that. Ya know, before your father became the Hero of Nome, I often asked myself if he was really the right one for me. But he made me sure he was the right one when he brought me a night, under the hospital. He used some broken bottle to create the Northern Lights. I was so mesmerized by this, I knew at this moment he would be the only one I'll ever want at my side."
In the while Jenna told her story, Balto came at her side and nuzzled her neck.
"I fell in love with your mother the first day I saw her. I immediately knew she was the kindest, the most beautiful, the best female of the whole world. And I knew I had to do everything in my willpower to make her the happiest female in the world."
"Aww, you." Jenna said, nuzzling her mate.
Saba smiled softly. She was happy for her parents. Their love was unbreakable.
Suddenly, Jenna turned toward Steele.
"Steele, can I see you a minute, alone?" She said quite angrily.
Steele gulped, then replied:
"O-of course Jenna, I follow you."
"Don't worry honey. Come back fast." Aleu whispered him as he left her side.
He smiled to her, then followed Jenna out of the shed.
"So, Steele. Balto told me you had a little problem with a female, sometimes before Aleu fell pregnant." She said, sitting on the ground, turning her back to him.
"I swear it Jenna, I am faithful to Aleu. There's no other female I'm interested in, not even you." Steele replied.
"It's not about your faithfulness I'm speaking about. It's about what Balto had to do for you."
"Wh... What?"
Jenna sighed and faced Steele.
"He had to fuck that bitch to make her go away. She threatened our family, and the only thing that made her go away was to give her a litter. Balto sacrificed his faithfulness to protect the family... Your family."
"I... I didn't know..."
"I'm really pissed off by that. Your past is haunting my relationship."
"I'm really sorry Jenna. I swear it wasn't my intentions. I-I'll repay you as much as I can." Steele said."
"You don't have to repay me. But common sense would tell you to go and say thanks to Balto for that. You put him in a really harsh situation." Jenna said.
"I'll thank him. I'll thank him for everything he done for me and Aleu. I promise you Jenna." He said, bowing in front of her.
Jenna sighed.
"Get up Steele, that's becoming awkward. You better take great care of my daughter, and about Dingo and Saba, don't worry about them, they're old enough to assume themselves."
"Alright Jenna." Steele replied.
"Well, now we should go sleep. Tomorrow gonna be a long day for you, and I want you well wake to protect my daughter."
And then, the two dogs came back into the shed, lied with their mate and fell asleep in the calm night.
