‘I wonder when Raith's new roommate is getting here', the imp thought to herself as she walked towards Raith's room. She knew he would need help with his work when he got back from class in another ten to fifteen minutes so she decided to save a trip and just stop at his room.
While she was walking, she saw a small fox wondering around looking for something. ‘The poor little guy must be looking for his brother or sister' she thought as she decided to help him out. He did not hear her coming up behind him until she spoke.
"Who're you looking for?" She asked. The fox jumped at her voice and spun around looking up trying to find out who was talking to him.
"Hey! Down here!" she said a little annoyed at the insult of her height. The fox looked down and
looked very confused. "Who're you looking for?" she asked again still annoyed.
"N No one. I'm Sam. I just transferred here and I'm trying to find my room. What are you?" he said.
"I am an imp. What is the room number?" She said with a sigh. ‘How could this fox not know what she was? I can't believe he's a transfer student, I am half as tall as he is!'
"It... its 123"
"123? That's Raith's room! Well come on! I was just on my way there to help him when he gets back from his classes. Come on!!" she said her annoyance forgotten as she grabbed the fox's hand and practically dragged him to the room. When they got there, she unlocked the door and let them both in.
"So why did you transfer Sam?" the imp asked when they got into the room.
"I ... I don't really want to talk about it" Sam replied now a little nervous.
"Awwww, do I have to torture it out of you?" the imp asked jokingly expecting him to laugh. Instead, his eyes went wide with shock and fear and he started backing up towards the door.
"What's wrong Sam?" the imp asked surprised by his reaction. He looked like a cornered animal right now as he continued to back up to the door. He had not even noticed that the door had opened and an albino alligator stood in the door way a little surprised to see a fox in his room.
Sam backed right up into Raith, let out a yelp of surprise and spun around with claws extended hoping to get a chance to get away. Raith however, was faster. Before Sam even came close to touching him, Raith grabbed his wrist effectively stopping the fox's momentum. When he looked into Sam's eyes, he saw that they were full of fear. They were also not focusing on anything. Raith got the impression that the fox was not fully conscious anymore and discovered this to be true when he let go of the fox's wrist and he collapsed with tears running down his face. Raith carried the fox to the couch and set him down and then turned towards the imp.
"What did you do to him?" Raith asked concerned.
"Nothing. I was just trying to figure out why he was transferred and he freaked. I joked about torturing it out of him and he started to act like that. His name is Sam and he is your new roommate!" The imp replied.
"Maybe you shouldn't joke about torturing him until we know what's up, ‘k?
"Fine. Hey I think he's waking up!" the imp said as Sam slowly opened his eyes. "We're not going to hurt you. I was just kidding about torturing you Sam!"
This seemed to relax Sam a little as he sat up and saw Raith. He held out a paw and apologized for trying to attack Raith. Raith took it and told him not to worry.
"I may as well tell you why I was transferred seeing as to how you saw how I um reacted to your joke." Sam said as he stood up. He stumbled a little but caught himself and then pulled off his shirt and lifted some fur that was covering the top of his chest. Both Raith and imp gasped at what they saw. Under the fur was the word "PET" burned into the flesh. He then told them the story of how he got that marking. At several points during the story, he had to stop and take a deep breath. When he finished, both Raith and imp were speechless.
Raith came out of it first telling Sam, "That will never happen to you again as long as I am around.
So why did your parents send you here?"
"My parents ... They died years ago. This necklace is the only thing I have left of them. The school sent me here and is paying for everything to keep me quiet." Sam said as he closed a paw over the necklace he was wearing.
"Sam I'm so sorry..." imp began but Sam cut her off saying, "Don't be. I'm fine. Really! Now do either of you want to help me unpack?"
While imp and Raith were helping Sam unpack, someone else was taking in this turn of events. A certain raccoon had been waiting for a chance for revenge and it had apparently shown up.
‘I can use that runt to take care of Raith while I get that fucking imp.' Coon thought as he made his way back to his room to work out a plan to get Sam to do what he wanted...
After Sam's stuff was unpacked, the imp and Raith took him on a tour around the campus. They did not even realize they were being followed. During the tour, Sam told Raith and imp about his past and his family. He also told them a little about his necklace; especially how he would do anything to keep it safe. When coon heard this, he began to form a plan on how to get the fox to do as he wanted. Coon continued to follow them and soon learned that Sam was in several of his classes. Coon almost laughed with glee at hearing this. When they made it back to the room, Sam decided to get some sleep while imp and Raith went out for a midnight snack...
"So... what do you think of him?" imp asked extremely curious as to how Raith felt about his new roomy.
"He is totally hot. I think he will be my first boyfriend!" Raith replied merrily. Imp stopped dead in her tracks jaw agape trying to comprehend what he just said.
"Wha...Wha... WHAT?!? ARE YOU BEING SERIOUS?? HOW COULD YOU EVEN..... WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING??!!?" Imp yelled at the alligator
"I I'm laughing because I knew you would react but I didn't think it would be that hilarious!" Raith managed to say before falling to the ground laughing. Imp pounced on him and tried to wrestle his jaw shut. She... failed... miserably. By the time he stopped laughing, he had pinned the imp with his tail and she had started laughing as well.
"Ok ok you've had your fun now put me down!" imp said to Raith when they had both calmed down a bit.
"And if I refuse?"
"What??"
"I mean, you are keeping my tail warm with all your fluff so I don't know if I want to put you down really."
"PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW OR GOD HELP ME I WILL... hah hahahahahahaha. Stop it stop it! Hahahahahahahahahahaha" imp squealed as Raith began to tickle her with the tip of his tail. He then accidentally put his tail near her mouth. She took the opportunity and bit. She felt the tail loosen its hold and she climbed out and jumped down as Raith looked at where she had bitten him.
"Did you really have to bite me?"Raith asked.
"Yes." Imp replied casually. "Are you going to take a shower now?"
"Yep. Wait, why do you ask?" Raith asked.
"Hmm no reason really. See you there!" imp said before walking away from Raith leaving him gaping at what just happened. Raith headed towards the room and got ready to shower. When he got into the bathroom, he heard the water running. Curious as to who was taking a shower now, Raith crept closer to find no one in the water. Confused now, Raith looked around trying to find who was in the shower before he came in. He never saw the small furry creature tackle him from behind into the water. Before Raith knew what was happening, he was being attack by ... tickling! He had fallen to the ground in the shower and he was still being tickled. He managed to catch a glimpse of a black tail and then he knew what was going on. He managed to grab the imp and hoist her up. She had a big grin on her face and then Raith realized why. During her tickle attack, the imp had managed to make Raith have an erection. He set her down and she wrapped her tail around his cock causing Raith to let out a moan.
"Do you like that?" the imp asked as her tail began to coil and uncoil around Raith's cock causing him to moan even more. "I'll take that as a yes. I wonder what Chesire would think of this... hmm maybe I should invite her next time. What do you think Raith?" imp asked as her tail began to coil even faster.
"I I Th think that wou would be n nice!" Raith managed to pant out as the imp continued her merciless coiling.
"Now I am going to be nice and pay you back for that time we first met... but if you attack me like that again, it will be um worse for um you." Imp said as she brought her tail to full coiling speed. Within a matter of minutes, Raith was ready to blow. She jumped down from his chest still using her tail and then let him come. The reason imp had gotten off of him was because, just like a cat, she did not like having to take baths much. Stepping out of the shower, she turned towards Raith who was still panting on the floor and said, "See you later alligator! I'll be sure to invite Chesire next time though!" and then she left.
Raith finished with his shower considering the events that had just occurred. ‘Let's see. If I tickler her again, she said it would be worse for me. Hmm. Now I'm curious. Aw well. Curiosity killed the cat and in this case, it might just kill the alligator.' Raith thought to himself as he dried off and got ready for bed. He could tell that this year was going to be extremely interesting.
The following morning, Sam woke for his first class to find that Raith was already gone. He got ready and made his way to the class room. He made it to the room without any problems and was introduced to the class. He took a seat next to Coon who helped him survive the boredom.
They had a few classes together and when it was time for lunch, Sam followed Coon back to
Coon's room so Coon could get his wallet. While Coon was getting his wallet, Sam went to get a drink of water. On his way back to wait for Coon, Sam saw something move to his right and he looked to see a fist slam into his gut winding him. He saw another fist fly towards his head and then nothing.
Coon ripped the necklace off the unconscious fox's neck and then sat back to wait for him to wake up wondering if Sam had seen him at all. When Sam started to wake up, Coon began to shake calling his name.
Sam opened his eyes to see Coon looking at him worried.
"What happened Sam?" he asked
"I I don't know. M my necklace! It it's gone!!" Coon could see tears welling in Sam's eyes and he nearly smiled. Instead, he wrapped an arm around the fox and let him cry. After a few minutes, he helped Sam back to his room. When Sam was not looking, Coon dropped a letter on the ground in front of the door and then he picked it up.
"Hey Sam, there's a letter for you."
"Oh. Why would they not use the mailbox?" Sam responded still depressed that he had lost his necklace. He took the letter from Coon and then read it. After reading it, tears began to well up again as he re-read it aloud this time.
"If you ever want to see your necklace again, you will do as I say when I say it. You will get a letter whenever I want something done. If you accomplish all I tell you to do, I will give it back. Otherwise, it should catch a very high price online. Do not show this letter to anyone or any of the following letters or you will regret it, Pet. Go on with the rest of your day like nothing is wrong or else..."
That last word filled Sam with fear more so than the thought of what he would have to do did. He fell into the chair and sat there staring at the letter with tears running down his face. That necklace was the only thing left of his parents and he had lost it. When he got up, he had managed to hide the sadness and everything else and appeared to be perfectly content. He went on with the rest of the day with no one noticing what was wrong.
When Sam finally made his way back to the room after his day was over, he lost control over his façade and broke down sobbing. He had forgotten that imp would probably be in the room waiting for Raith as he went in. He had pulled out the letter again and was re-reading it trying to figure out why someone would do this to him. That was when he saw imp staring at him with confusion in her red eyes.
"What's wrong Sam?" the imp asked now worried about her new friend. She got up and walked over to him as he tried to hide the letter from her. She moved faster than he did and grabbed it from him quickly reading over it before he could grab it from her again.
"Sam... I'm so sorry. Do you have any idea who did this?"
"N no I don't. Whoever did it knows about this" he made a gesture towards the scar on his chest. "I just hope that I don't have to do anything too painful..."
"You're really going to do what this guy says?" the imp asked a little shocked.
"Why wouldn't I. That necklace is the last thing I have of my parents. I can't lose it!" Sam explained as he fell down onto the couch.
"We can find this guy! We can get your necklace back! You don't have to do this Sam!" imp started to say but was cut off by the sound of someone knocking on the door. They both looked and saw a letter by the door. Sam got up and picked it up fearing what it was going to say.
"Strike one. I told you not to tell anyone. Think of this like baseball. You have three strikes and then your necklace is gone and you will probably be in the hospital. I have given Coon a letter telling him what to tell you to do for tomorrow. You will do exactly as Coon says because that is exactly what I want you to do. I hope you listen to me and obey my instructions when I give them; I don't want to have to hurt you but if I have to do it, it will be done. You can show this letter to the imp but no one else. Have fun..."
After reading this, Sam dropped the letter and decided he needed sleep more than anything. Imp read the letter and did not try to stop him. He closed his door and she could hear his sobbing through the door.
‘I have to tell Raith...' imp thought to herself as she got some food from the refrigerator and started to make some food for herself and Raith. She thought it would be best if she let Sam be for a while. ‘Who would do this to him?' she thought as she made the food.
When Raith got back to the room, he found food on the table and imp was reading a note. She looked up when he walked in and rushed over to him.
"Raith, someone is blackmailing Sam. Read this and tell me what we should do." The imp told Raith.
"I think for starters, we should make sure we get a copy of every letter that Sam gets. I am curious though about how Sam knows Coon. I would like to tell him to stay away from him but if I did now, I might end up hurting Sam. Poor guy. When I find out who is doing this... let's just say it won't be pretty." Raith replied with a bit of anger in his voice. "We should let him be for a while. I doubt he will want to talk to anyone right now."
The pair ate in silence both wondering who would do this.
Sam got up exceptionally early the next morning and got out of the room before Raith woke up. All of the sadness he had been feeling the day before had started to change to anger; something he did not feel often. He got to his first class and waited for Coon to show up. When he did,
Sam pulled him aside and listened to what he had to do.
"The letter said to tell you that um you are supposed to force Raith to drink this tomorrow at 10 pm and that you should have that imp with you." Coon handed Sam a vial full of some kind of liquid.
"It also said that if ANYONE sees that, you will lose two strikes whatever that means. I'm sorry this is happening Sam."
"Y You shouldn't be. It was my fault for letting this happen." Sam replied his sadness turning to anger even faster.
"I'm sure that you will get your necklace back though. It is unlikely that you would lose all three strikes after reading that threat." Coon did not catch himself slipping and saying something he was not supposed to know. Sam heard it.
"How do you know that? You can't unless ... you? Why?" Sam asked as he tried to keep himself from attacking the raccoon.
"Oops. It's called revenge runt. I have a bone to pick with that imp and you happened to be there. If you try anything at all or if you tell anyone, your necklace will disappear. I have it set to sell automatically tomorrow. Only I can stop it so you will make Raith drink this by 10 tomorrow and have that imp with you at my room. If you tell him about this, he will come after me and probably kill me so you will never get your parent's necklace back. Now you know what to do. Have fun." With that, the raccoon walked to his seat leaving Sam shocked and angry. When
Sam had finished his classes, he practically ran back to the room. He found imp there again and he told her everything. While he was telling her, he kept looking around for the raccoon but he never showed up. When he finished, she just stood there staring at him. She sat down but did not talk so they both waited until Raith got back. Sam retold the story and Raith almost did go out to hunt Coon down. Imp stopped him.
"You should drink the stuff tomorrow and let the raccoon do what he wants to me." She finally said in a shaky voice.
"NO!!" Raith said. "I will not let him do this at all!"
"You have to Raith. For Sam. Please?"
Sam was just staring at them both in shock at what imp was saying. He could not understand why she would care so much for him. She hardly knew him. The pair argued for almost an hour before Raith gave in and agreed. Raith would drink the stuff after they found out what it was. Imp took a little bit to their friend Chesire to get it analyzed. The result was that it was a very strong toxin that would probably have killed Raith. Amazingly, the antidote was easy to find, Chesire said. Neither Raith nor the imp asked any clarification, they were content with the antidote. So Raith would have a glass of that before and after he took the toxin. Sam would take imp to his room and when the raccoon had had his revenge, they would get Sam's necklace back and report the raccoon to the police. Raith was against this last one saying he would rather confront the raccoon himself but he was outvoted two to one.
The following day, Sam avoided Coon as much as possible. The day went by uneventfully and Sam spent the majority of the time preparing for his encounter with the raccoon. Chesire had already supplied the ... antidote ... to the toxin and Raith was prepared for this. Imp was also getting ready for Coon's revenge. They were all going to meet a half hour before 10 to make sure they were ready. At 9:30, Sam made his way back to the room to make sure Raith and imp were there. They were.
"Imp this is your last chance to stop and let me handle this" Raith said. Imp would not change her mind though. Raith then drank the first of the ... antidote... and then told them to go on and leave. When they left, he turned to the toxin and drank it. Immediately, he grabbed the other glass of ...antidote... and drank that as well. He then decided to go lie down and wait for some revenge of his own.
Sam and imp made their way slowly to Coon's room. They did not talk much during the walk. When they got there, Sam knocked on the door. It opened and then Sam was falling. He heard nothing as he passed into unconsciousness.
He snapped immediately into being awake. Sam found himself on the floor of Coon's room with his arms tied behind his back. He struggled against them but nothing happened. He then heard Coon.
"I have been waiting for this bitch. Do you know how much pain you caused me? No? Well we are just going to have to make sure you feel it all before you die."
Sam looked up onto the bed and saw imp tied down with coon standing over her. He could feel his rage building again but what could it do?
"It will make a very compelling story. Sam poisoned Raith and then raped and murdered you before I could stop him. Too bad he will have also died while the police were getting here. I thank you Sam for this opportunity of revenge. Your necklace will look great on me I think." With that, Coon grabbed a whip and began to bring it down on imp's body. Sam's vision began to blur as he heard what Coon had in store for him. Sam had no choice. He had to help Imp somehow.
He pulled against his bonds and felt them stretching. He kept pulling to the point where it began to hurt. The only thing that kept him going was the thought that this was his fault. That thought brought anger up in Sam. He kept pulling; the pain bringing more anger to him. He could tell that his arms had begun to bleed but he was almost beyond feeling. He had no idea how long he had been struggling but when he looked up, he saw Coon holding a knife above one of imp's arms. He could see the raccoon's mouth moving but he could not understand the words anymore. He was past logical thinking. He was back at a more primal state of mind. His lips pulled back as he began to growl as he continued to pull the bonds apart ripping his flesh as he did so. Coon looked at him and laughed before turning back to the imp with the knife.
There was a sudden snap and Coon did not have time to look before he was tackled by Sam. Sam used his body as a weapon; his claws and jaw were both used. He grabbed a hold of coon's throat with his jaw before the raccoon could do anything. The raccoon tried to grab him but Sam jumped behind him digging his claws into the raccoon's chest. Sam then jumped back and retackled the raccoon biting his shoulder. The door swung open as Raith came in wondering why they had not come back yet. He saw imp first and ran over to cut her free. After he had done that, he saw Sam and Coon. Sam was a wild beast. Raith could see wounds all over both of them but he could not stop them at all. After a few seconds, Coon fell and slammed his head into the wall. During his fall, he managed to grab Sam and threw the fox into the wall. Raith then walked over and nonchalantly kicked Coon in the face knocking him out completely. Turning to Sam, he found that the fox was completely out as well. Raith then did the only thing he could, he and imp called 9-1-1 and they made sure Sam did not die. Raith was shaking his head at Coon when he saw something sticking out of his pocket. Reaching in, he pulled out Sam's necklace. Coon had been bluffing the entire time. He put the necklace around Sam's neck and then waited patiently with imp for the ambulance.
Sam was released from the hospital three weeks later and had to make up those three weeks during the summer but he got help from a certain albino alligator and imp couple.
Coon got well ... let's just say he's dead now.
