Hortense's Challenge

This is a short story I wrote within one hour after chatting and RPing with a good friend of mine.

Her eyes searched over the line of dragons who were waiting, she knew what she was looking for and with vigor the small dragoness walked forward. Hortense, a tiny dragoness of no more than seven inches at the shoulders, walked along the line of dragons, eying them closely before she flared her wings. With a soft rawr at first she called to them, only a few eyes shifting but next was something different.

Magic welled up in her throat and larynx, then she roared again! This time it was louder but the sound did not compare to that of a larger dragon, but it held an energy that reverberated in the spectators. Her wings opened fully and the crimson red markings along the membrane started to shine, sparkling brilliantly in the sunlight. Even the speckled red scales along her brown form started to shimmer with magic. The last visual touch were her eyes, shifting from their normal red to a iredicant red, shimmering as well.

This time everyone took notice of the small dragon, she had taken their attention from the magical fight in the sky, drawing them in. High above was a non-lethal fight between several dragons seeking the mating rights of a dragoness and those in line were waiting for the next competition, but the small dragoness was a new display that caught their attention.

Hortense paced along the line of dragons and gryphons once more, a few of them even starting to step back and away from the normal position of the line. They wondered if she was the small dragon with the reputation of taking down creatures far larger than herself. Wanting to be safe rather than sorry, they removed themselves from the line, but there were a few more focused on her display or that of the fight above.

She took notice of two in particular, a small ganza dragon, whose elongated draconic form had a green and blue coloration and a dark green mane, and the other was a medium sized gryphon with the coloration of an orange and red eagle. Hortense looked up to them, glaring fiercely before she rawred, "You two seem to think you're formidable with magic. I challenge you both against myself! If I win you will be mine for the week and if you win I will be yours do as you desire."

Taking a few steps back, the tiny dragoness moved into the middle of the large garden and over the grassy clearing. Hortense was facing the towering walls of the temple to the south and behind her was the northern outer walls of the temple. They still had ample room to move around for combat. With a growl the ganza drifted forward, floating into the clearing.

"I accept your challenge." He declared with a grin.

"I do as well!" The gryphon screeched as he flapped his large wings and stepping forward.

With little warning the small dragon snapped her wings closed then kicked off the ground, leaving behind a surge of magic in the earth. The energy focused tightly to only affect the grassy area, but it started jostle the ground, throwing the gryphon off balance. Stumbling to the ground, he looked up and noticed the small dragon was floating in the air.

To the surprise of the ganza dragon, who were best known for their natural ability to float, the small dragoness floated with grace for a few moments before darting toward him. The ganza dragon moved elegantly out of the way to dodge her attack, even shifting his head to follow his target as he was always taught, keep an eye on your opponent, but it was a fatal mistake.

Below the ganza was another surge of magical energy that Hortense was controlling, this time bursting from the ground was wave of steaming air, followed by a thick cloud of dust and small debris. Startled by this the ganza reacted quickly, using his magic to form a shield around himself in protection, which repelled the debris.

The gryphon meanwhile had regained his footing and started summoning his own magic, using a scroll that he pulled from his satchel he started speaking words of magic. Forming around him were several fireballs and his hands started to heat in preparation for an attack.

His wings flared as he pounced forward, using then to shift his position in the air and move around the steam and debris moving from the earth. The gryphon caught sight of the tiny dragon who was turning around to face both of them. Now was his chance, unleashing half of the fireballs and holding out his hands to start forming more of them, but the tiny dragon stepped into the air, only to vanish!

Both of the challenged looked around, trying to find the small dragon but no sight. Even the spectators were wondering if the small dragon had run away in fear, but it only took a few moments before the ground started to shake and soon bursting from the earth there was Hortense. The small dragon pulling with her several large clods of dirt and rocks.

With a swing of her hands and lash of her tail, three clods of dirt flew toward the fireballs, blotting them out. Then a single rock to the cheek stunned the gryphon, knocking him to the ground.

The ganza on the other hand reacted quickly, turning to Hortense and reaching forward with his own portal magic. His hands and forearms vanishing into the air before him and re-emerging to either side of Hortense to grasp her shoulders. With the might of his muscles and even the aid of magic he pulled her back and through a larger portal.

"You're mine now!" He growled into her ear.

His long form started to snake around her small body, grinding and constricting her, even exposing his lewd arousal peaking from his sheath. The fight was stimulating him and the thoughts of him winning the dragoness were far too arousing. Just as he was about to reach up to her forehead to use a stun spell he felt his hand fall, dropping to his side. He looked to this left and saw that his hand was now encased in a thick and heavy stone.

Hortense looked up at him with a grin, "I'm not that easy, young one." She bit into his scales, only lightly, but enough to allow her magic to sink into his form. He growled, wiggle around as he felt his right hand fall to his side, followed by his tail. This soon unraveled his coils around the small dragoness and dropping him to the ground.

The small dragoness snapped her wings open, flapping them to keep herself hovering in the air above the two males she just defeated with ease. The gryphon was waking up from being dazed and the ganza dragon left lying on the ground.

"Well fought. May I have your names?" The dragoness spoke softly as she landed on the ground.

"My name is Raeghon." The ganza dragon rawrs as he stands up, the stones on his hand and tail crumbling.

The gryphon rubs his head before as a silver dragon uses a little magic to remove his stun, "Thank you. Everyone calls me Obure."

Hortense grinned at her two new companions, "I think this week is going to be most enjoyable with the two of you to tend to my desires."

The Emotion - Rough Draft

The night slowly crept over the dense rain forest, its dark but gentle grip blanketing the untamed land. Creatures of the day took heed of the night, retreating to their homes and hiding places. The tall trees atop the central hill were the last living...
